Hi! Its the DoH anon again!! And sick! thanks for the cool tag. recently (literally just tonight), i *may* have opened up to me being also a "prince of time" (i still have my qualms but honestly its a pretty cool classpect and somewhat fits, so am not complaining). so one of my other combined classpects could be the Overlord of Paradox (Prince of time + Page of Space). Can you analyse this one, please? Thank you as always! - DoH anon (who turns out to... not be so DoH, apparently) 🌌☀️⌛
LETS GO WE BOTH PARTIALLY PRINCES (im theif +prince also THEY'RE THE OPPOSITE ASPECTSLIKE ME (light+void) so cool) vmdsfsddv (also yeah so real and valid to realize you're different from what you originally thought you were)
------------Overlord of Paradox------------
Tumblr media
one who is serves an aspect through destroying an aspect or destroys an aspect through serving an aspect
you litterally have the aspects/classes of some of the characters that are either loved or absolutely hated on in homestuck (dirk, Tavros, jake, jade, Dave, kanaya as ell as some others TwT)
woah sooo you have both of the big important aspects. time and space. like they litterally couldn't have a session with out you if they didn't have any other time of space players.so you likely have a lot of pressure put on you. which could obviously might push you to make quick decisions without having the time to put in enough thought which tbh makes sense for a prince.
a scheming page can get as bad as a thief if they have the wrong motives. you may feel isolated at times cause of you're space aspect and your prince class may make it feel like you're the only one who really sees the bigger picture. which honestly others probably struggle to understand why you do what you do. I recommend that you take a minute to evaluate you're possibilities and options before acting, but I do understand if that can be difficult sometimes.
pages tend to be really hopeful and want the best thing without fully understanding how to get their. but like with Tavros, you can get to that point if you work extra hard for it. be careful not to get stuck only focusing on bigger pictures and stuff. being a time player you'll try to get one step ahead and prolly fumble a bit. you'll believe other's will be against you in some way. you'll try to avoid getting attached to people and things. which you are prolly really good at.
also one thing princes and pages have in common is that they think they have to be better or at least something they aren't. and while pages are Great at keeping up that act princes are not. seeing you're a page of time you'll be great at pretending and avoiding getting attached and getting people to keep up with THEM instead of slowing down for others even if the NEED to slow down for their own mental/physical health. but seeing your a prince of space you might really try and expect people to not like you or to not understand you, but chances are they at the very least partially understand.
an overlord of paradox's powers would prolly be a bit simple but they could be VERY powerful if used right. things like the ability to teleport, make portals (or like some kind black hole type thingy basically it suck in things that get too close ig?) as well as the ability to slow or speed up time for specific people. maybe even be able to create whole new timelines or jump between them.
weapons are pretty simple, but prolly requiring a lot of skill though. Blades lots of Blades. doesn't even matter what size or kind. could be a javelin, a katana, a knife. as long as it has a sharp edge to it.

Happenstance or did a fellow fandom member write this one? Either way this seems like a possible basis for a short story or fanfiction.

if youll forgive the daily mail link about The Face of an Angel: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2752759/BAZ-BAMIGBOYE-Why-Kate-Daniel-spoke-double-Deutsch.html
‘We’d shoot a scene and I’d look at Kate and start chatting away in German. She speaks French and Russian, too, but we figured we could gossip about Michael and what we thought of the film in German because he wouldn’t have any idea what we were talking about,’ said Bruhl
The half-German actor added: ‘We’d say things like: “Oh, this scene doesn’t make sense!” Or: “What the hell was that about? Do you understand anything you’re saying?”
movie of all time (derogatory)
I cannot express to you how much every bad thing I hear about this movie makes me more excited. Movie of all fucking time indeed!!!!

I always thought the Black Arms aliens were pretty neat, but it wasn't until Shadow Generations where I realized just how fascinating they actually are.
On the surface, the Black Arms were presented as a race of reptilians seemingly taking inspiration from both classic UFO invaders and Xenomorph-like aliens, all led by a mysterious, demonic overlord, Black Doom. With a mixture of sci-fi laser guns and strange biotech, they seek to conquer the world and use humanity as a food source. That's all well and good, but we would eventually learn there's more to these space lizards.
At the end of Shadow's first solo venture, we see the titular black hedgehog defeat Black Doom and destroy the massive alien space vessel, the Black Comet, seemingly putting an end to the Black Arms threat once and for all...
Tumblr media
HOWEVER, it is later revealed in Shadow Generations that Black Doom had somehow survived his defeat at Shadow's hands, and seeks to rebuild his forces in order to menace Earth once again.
But how did Black Doom survive? Wasn't he, and the rest of the Black Arms, destroyed by Shadow?
Tumblr media
Well, it's revealed that Black Doom was able to transfer his consciousness into a lone Black Arms larva that was kept sealed on the space colony ARK all these years, and from it Black Doom grew himself a new body.
This reveals that not only are the Black Arms a hive mind, but each member of the species is just an extension of Black Doom himself. Basically, Black Doom IS the Black Arms! And so long as even a single specimen of that species is alive somewhere, Black Doom will return.
Tumblr media
This even extends to Shadow, being a Black Arms hybrid. In Shadow Generations it is also revealed that Black Doom didn't just want Shadow as an ultimate warrior to use as his right hand. Black Doom's ultimate goal for Shadow was to take over his body and use him as his next vessel, becoming the Ultimate Lifeform himself!
This idea that Black Doom can just grow new bodies from his stock of Black Arms soldiers ad infinitum certainly explains how he's so incredibly long lived! This method of immortality is just so fascinating to me.
What's also interesting is how this hive mind differs from other depictions I've seen. Usually, a hive mind is depicted as each member having no sense of self or individuality. All are equal in their lack of identity. But with the Black Arms there is almost paradoxically a true identity among them, a single entity that goes by a name. An entire species that exists only as Black Doom's will made flesh. Each member, each body, though they all have faces, are all ultimately nothing more than the limbs, or "arms", of Black Doom.

thinking through the categories of people who "support Israel" in the conventional sense of the term (i.e. support the overall ideology that underpins the current state of Israel and the actions that it takes) and it seems like there are five main categories:
those who think that the Jewish people need a state devoted to the defence of their interests, generally backed by an appeal to history, which is at least a simple belief to explain and argue with
those who are specifically fixated against Islamic religion or Arab nationalism and see Israel as a bulwark against it, there was a lot of this in the early stages of the second Iraq War and the previous Israeli invasion of Lebanon and it is at least still debatable
those who look to Jewish prophecies of Israel as delivered by supernatural covenant, which is an easy belief to explain but basically impossible to argue with as it's crazy iron age shit
those who look to Christian prophecies of Israel, like book of revelations filtered through 1980s American evangelical preaching hastening the end times shit, which is a belief so crazy it makes Jewish prophecies seem restrained and rational (and also mildly paradoxical in that it seems to suggest that Israel should be protected now so that Jesus gets to trash it later, but again you can't argue with somebody uninterested in making sense)
those who buy in to QAnon-style new age antisemitic conspiracy but invert the polarity, so they believe that the world is run by a secret committee of Jewish overlords but they are okay with that as Israel protects us from the moon men invasion or the demons that lurk in the planet's core, a belief you struggle to argue with as it's not even clear where you would possibly start

Dealbreaker
Tumblr media
I found a fic "The Last Bus Stop in Hell, Now Boarding" by @prince-liest and… well, some scenes just stuck around in my head (read: tormented my artistic brain) long enough to get me down to sketching them out. Then a few hours, a few brushes and a few different colouring experiments later, it was no longer barely a sketch, at the expense of actual lunch... Oh well.
For those who haven’t read it (spoiler free), Angel and Alastor got their bodies swapped involuntarily, and the horrendous expression on Angel’s face belongs respectfully to Alastor.
Now, bear with me, because I’ve been overthinking this scene the whole time I was drawing it – Angel made a promise to Alastor, but one that is much more of a gesture of reassurance and what-happened-will-always-remain-in-this-room kind than anything resembling actual deal. And then, mere moments later, Angel realises that helping Al AND keeping the promise is impossible, so he dismisses the fact that he even said anything, and just jumps right onto the helping part, because he knows that that’s best thing to do for a friend. But Alastor doesn’t share that view – maybe it’s a mix of trauma, shame and the loss of control over almost anything, but he doesn’t think clearly at this point – normally, he’d sooner or later agree with Angel. But not there, not then – he’d rather expect the impossible to happen, and rage when it doesn’t.
And there’s the interesting choice of words – he could’ve called Angel anything at this point, we know how rich Alastor’s vocabulary is – but the word he chose was dealbreaker. Maybe, just maybe, from a perspective of hellish overlord, a sinner that twists and turns in an attempt to get rid of their contract is nothing less than pathetic, but what if the deal was only verbal, no signing, no contract, just "trust"… There are probably no other beings in Hell that, ironically, have less trust in somebody’s WORDS than the overlords, knowing what extremes the sinners are willing to go to just to squeeze their way out of a sticky situation. Also, one can only become a dealbreaker exactly in that scenario, when nothing was set in stone.
For Alastor, dealbreaker is a knife in the back. The worst kind of liar. The very being that reminds him so painfully that trust doesn’t exist without force applied to it by a binding contract, which, if you think about it, is a paradox. Dealbreakers are the reason he distances himself from everyone.
And here’s the sugar on the cream (pun intended): Angel is only trying to HELP. What a beautiful tragedy.
To end this little overthinking session: it’s been a long while since I’ve read anything that would make me genuinely terrified, and it’s even more amazing that it began as something quite hilarious. Do mind though that the topic is HEAVY, to say the least.
I can’t say I’ve read a lot of Hazbin fics, but so far Princeliest writes Alastor probably the closest to his original character, which I love. Please, keep up the good work!

🌌The Universe, the Menti Celesti, and the Gallifreyan Devil
Gallifreyans, being an ancient people, have long debated the mysteries of the cosmos. Where did the universe come from? Are gods real? Can everything be reduced to science?
Here's what Gallifreyan mythology, philosophy, and a whole lot of deeply questionable religious texts have to say on the subject.
🪐How the Universe Began
Like most civilisations, the ancient Gallifreyans have/had theories about how everything began.
The universe was born from a self-aware singularity, sometimes called Eru or Azathoth.
This entity split into ten dimensions at the moment of the Big Bang. (Why ten? No one knows. Some say the universe actually has eleven dimensions, but apparently, even the Creator wasn't great at maths.)
Time itself was poured into the void o the empty universe by the Mother Goddess, using something called the Aurora Temporalis (a.k.a. the Anvils of Heaven). This suggests that Time is a very fancy liquid, which raises more questions than it answers.
The seconds of time were then created by the Temporal Phoenix, a cosmic bird that was imprisoned in a time loop by the Philesians.
🤷 Or "Look, it Just Happened"
The more scientifically inclined Gallifreyans believe that time is a mathematical structure so complex that it became sentient by accident.
This would explain why causality occasionally behaves like an unsupervised child with a flamethrower.
🕊️ The Menti Celesti: Gallifrey's Gods (or Just Very Pushy Eternals)
The ancient Gallifreyans did worship gods—though they were less "divine cosmic overlords" and more "powerful entities that ignored prayers unless they were in the mood."
The Main Pantheon
Time – The youngest and most unpredictable. Ancient Gallifreyans worshipped her, but many modern Gallifreyans dislike her intensely. She wanders around in a grey shawl, holding an amphora filled with the dust of time, which she continuously pours to ensure time flows. She is represented by a shifting grey colour.
Death – Enjoys making deals. Represented by the colour white and a red circular symbol known as a Regenerative Circle. Old Gallifreyan tales state that when Death was born, drunken gods gave her name to someone else. She was annoyed by this, and now spends her time removing every mortal's name.
Pain – Oldest of the gods. Absolutely terrible at parties. Represented by the colours of red and black.
Fate (Osuda) – The hallowed hand of destiny, which means no one really likes her.
Life – Rarely mentioned. Possibly retired.
Hope – Existentially suspicious.
Light – Very much not talked about.
Gallifreyans, being deeply bureaucratic, eventually stopped worshipping them because they objected to the mass celebration of Eternals, which they saw as technically just worshipping another species.
Most of the Menti Celesti abandoned the universe before the War in Heaven, except for Death, who stuck around because she had nothing better to do.
😈 Gallifrey's Devil and the Nature of Evil
Gallifreyans don't really do "sin," but they do worry about entropy, time paradoxes, and apocalyptic horrors that eat civilisations like crisps.
Their myths speak of Valdemar, a dark god who was so terrible that the ancient Old Ones spent centuries fighting him.
The battle against Valdemar is considered the sixth greatest mystery of the Universe, because after winning, all the Old Ones promptly vanished and no one knows why.
🙈The Devil Theory: Can You Get Rid of Evil?
Ancient Gallifreyans believed that if all evil was destroyed, the good people who remained would eventually become evil themselves—because without opposition, even the best ideas can turn tyrannical.
This led to the grim conclusion that evil must always exist, which is a convenient excuse for not dealing with any major moral dilemmas.
Many modern Time Lords consider the concepts of good and evil to be outdated, redundant, or incomprehensible., which slightly contradicts the Great Moral Dialectic (see below).
🏛️ The Legacy of Belief
Though many Gallifreyans abandoned their gods long ago, a few rituals and superstitions persist:
📜 The Ratio 1:812 – The key to quantum string theory. Some believe it proves the gods exist; others believe it proves they never did. (Classic Gallifreyan argument structure.)
🏡 Shrines in Homes – Ancient Gallifreyans kept alcoves for offerings to the Menti Celesti, some still have them.
🌊 The Whispers of the Dead – Some believed that the souls of the dead ended up in the Sea of Life and that you could hear them whispering in the waves.
👍The Great Moral Dialectic – Some Gallifreyans believe in the Great Moral Dialectic, which is the rationale that as the physical Universe gets bigger, the moral Universe will lean more towards goodness.
🐍 The Crevasse of Memories That Will Be – A deep fissure used by the Pythia for prophecy. It contained snakes.
🚫 The Omniscate – A protective symbol often placed on powerful objects and rooms. Allegedly wards off evil, or at least makes people feel better about using dangerous technology.
🕰️ The Loa – Some Time Lords refer to history as a sentient being or beings they call the Loa.
🏫 So …
Gallifreyans don't worship gods anymore, but they do acknowledge their existence in an irritated, skeptical way. They've got a few ideas about the Universe, life, and everything, but as usual it's a hot mess.

THE CRESCENT OF FOOLS AND FORGOTTEN TIME ⤳ a wip (re)intro
Lucille Carmine is not one to relinquish her hold on someone once her wicked talons have sunk into them, as Jayce all too painfully learns once more. He’s pulled into her employ again, Lott jumping in after his best friend, tasked - under extreme duress, of course - to retrieve The Liminality Paradox. Previously thought to have been nothing more than a bedtime story, Jayce and Lott find themselves unwillingly heading to The Crescent of Fools and Forgotten Time, right into the heart of The Fool’s domain, a place where time and space lose all meaning, where everything that has ever happened is happening all at once and where nothing ever happens all the same. A place where the ends of the universe could be nothing more than a hop, skip, and a jump away, but the five feet in front of you could stretch out to infinity and beyond. A place where the insane rule sovereign and the sane are grinded to a dust, folded into the ripples of the Crescent. All to steal an artifact of untold power for one of the most dangerous overlords of the criminal world, and to lay even more unchecked power at her feet for her to abuse.

Alastor x Reader : Fragile Link ( Part 1 )
Tumblr media
______________________________________________
Hello/good night ! This is my first post in the Hazbin Hotel universe, please bear with me. I'm French so if I make a mistake, tell me in a socially acceptable way. ^^
Summary : Alastor and Charlie travel to a mysterious location in Hell to get help against threats to the Hazbin Hotel. They are guided by Alastor and meet Taku, a demon who owes him one. Despite encounters with hostile sinners, they manage to approach “y/n”, an important figure whose help is crucial.
______________________________________________
The cobblestone streets of Hell were lit by a perpetual reddish glow.
Wisps of acrid smoke rose from the cracks in the ground in this corner of the Infernal Pentagram, further obscuring the tumultuous sky, bathed in a vivid red hue, creating a painting of macabre beauty. Among the ruined buildings, their decrepit walls decorated with graffiti, stretched a heavy silence, broken only by the distant echoes of sinners.
In the distance, mountains of debris and carcasses could be seen, where some damned souls were condemned to an eternity of futile toil. Others went about their business, their gazes full of lust, malice and despair.
In this inhospitable setting, two figures made their way, one following the other, their footsteps echoing. They were on their way to a mysterious place, a place where one of them hoped to find help in confronting the threats facing the Hazbin Hotel.
One of the two people was none other than Charlie, who was getting carried away by his own inner torment. The revelation of Vaggie's dissimulation, her love, as to her nature as an exterminating angel, had plunged her into an abyss of betrayal and perplexity. She wondered about the reasons that had pushed Vaggie to silence such a crucial truth, finding it paradoxical that the one she had elected to share her noblest ideals could indulge in such omissions. Tortuous thoughts, like poisonous snakes, coiled around his tormented mind, undermining the very foundations of his certainties.
Amidst this turmoil, a glimmer of panic arose from time to time, fueled by the imminent threat posed by Adam and his legions of exterminating angels.
As for the one who orchestrated this macabre dance, it was Alastor, the guide leading the princess to a place known only to him. Indifferent to Charlie's words, he focused exclusively on their destination, and on the powerful overlord he had not seen in seven long years. He knew that their reunion was going to be complex, marked by the shadows of the past, but he hoped to convince the suzerain to lend Charlie a hand in his fight against the angelic forces.
While he had initially planned to visit his friend Rosie in Cannibal Town, he had deliberately postponed this meeting, preferring to try his luck with the other liege. Because he knew that if their enterprise succeeded, it would constitute a more effective bulwark against Adam and his army.
And he secretly wanted to see her again for his personal pleasure.
As they moved deeper and deeper into one of the abandoned and forgotten corners of the Pentagram, where no sinner dared to dwell, Alastor abruptly interrupted the conversation, announcing that they had arrived. However, in front of them, there was only an oppressive void, devoid of the slightest sign of life or habitation.
- What does that mean ? Charlie wondered, a look of confusion and worry in his eyes.
An enigmatic smile appeared on Alastor's lips, a sparkle of excitement shining in his eyes.
- Patience, my dear Charlie. You will soon understand why we are here. He replied in a calm voice.
With one fluid gesture, he conjured a letter into his hand, which he then burned before letting the ashes fall to the ground. Charlie's eyes followed with fascination the strange spectacle unfolding before his eyes. The ashes of the letter, consumed by Alastor's fire, transformed into dancing shadows, swirling before taking the form of a massive door on the ground. A strange feeling of dizziness came over her as she stared at this mysterious door, the palpable magic emanating from it tickling her senses.
Feeling the pressure of Alastor's shoulder, she stepped back slightly, her eyes still fixed on the fascinating scene unfolding before them. The shadow gate suddenly burst out of the ground, solidifying into a towering structure. Charlie's heart raced in her chest as she realized where they were.
This door evoked the legends she had heard whispered, the one leading to an unknown territory, a place different from the Hell she knew, under the sovereignty of one of the most eminent figures of the underworld. She was stunned to find herself facing this legendary door, wondering what trials and revelations awaited them on the other side.
Before she could voice her thoughts, the door burst open, revealing a demon that emerged from the darkness.
The demon was imposing and slender, with slightly gray skin. Her hair is a deep brown, framing her angular face characterized by sharp, defined features. His dark, almost black eyes shine with a piercing light behind round, black-rimmed glasses. He wore a dark suit highlighting his elegant and professional figure.
Seeing who had summoned the opening, the demon frowned and said in a hostile voice :
-Alastor.
-Taku.
Despite Taku's cold reception, Alastor remained imperturbable, not letting the animosity of his interlocutor destabilize him.
- Tell me, my friend, how have you been since our last meeting ? He questioned, a hint of feigned camaraderie peeking through his words.
Facing him, Taku remained imperturbable, his arms crossed on his chest, his face unchanging despite the mischievous sparkle that sparkled in Alastor's eyes.
- It is none of your business. He replied in an icy voice. I thought you were dead. It would surely be better for everyone if that were the case. Or at least you could have stayed hidden in your hole, alone, if death doesn't suit you.
A cynical laugh escaped Alastor's lips, accentuating the tense atmosphere between them.
-Ah ! But that wasn't the case ! He replied in a mocking tone. My absence was just a little break, a parenthesis to savor life and let sinners worry, wondering when I was going to return with my emission.
He approached Taku, his teasing smile widening.
- But indeed, it would surely have been better for you if I had died. He continued in an almost whispered voice, leaving the shadow of a sinister secret lingering. I have no doubt that you would have greatly appreciated it. After all, that would have meant that I would have taken your sword of Damocles with me to the grave, right ?
A shiver of antagonism ran through the space between them as they eyed each other, their feelings of distrust and disdain barely concealed.
Under the influence of the anger which began to rise, Taku's teeth lengthened, accentuating his expression of displeasure. His fists clenched with increasing force as he stared at Alastor with a penetrating, almost murderous gaze.
-What do you want, Alastor ? He spat through clenched teeth.
- We came to see ( y/n ). He said with an indescribable look. This is a matter of the utmost importance.
Taku sighed in annoyance, shaking his head in disapproval.
- I don't want to hear anything about it. He replied dryly. My Lady has no time to waste on unimportant requests like yours. And especially not with someone like you.
Charlie, feeling anxiety rising within her, was about to intervene, to plead their case to Taku. However, Alastor beat her to it with a calm wave of his hand, telling her to stay back for the moment. With a sly smile he said :
- I think you owe me a favor, Taku. And that's why I was able to summon this door.. He announced quietly.
Taku glared at Alastor, his expression hardening even further.
- A favor ? He repeated suspiciously, his tone oscillating between distrust and curiosity.
- Yes. Alastor replied in a detached tone, but with a glint of determination in his eyes. And that's why we're here, thanks to the letter you gave me in exchange for our deal. To get back what you owe me. He announced, a green glow surrounding them.
Charlie watched the scene helplessly, overwhelmed by the events, but slowly realizing the magnitude of the situation. She could feel the tension between Alastor and Taku rising, their gazes challenging each other in a silent game of wills.
- You're playing a dangerous game, Alastor. You might get burned. He growled.
But Alastor didn't flinch, his teasing smile remaining unchanged.
- Oh, let me doubt it, we both know that you are weaker than me. We need to see ( y/n ). He repeated calmly. And I'm sure you can understand the importance of this meeting. Besides, I will hold my tongue regarding the content of our deal and I will no longer be able to force you to let us in, seeing as I burned the letter to do so. Does this suit you ?
Taku hesitated for a moment, seeming to weigh his options. Finally, with a sigh of resignation, he agreed with a slight nod.
- Alright. He whispered. But I don't owe you anything anymore. And know, miss, he said, addressing Charlie, finally considering her since the beginning of the exchange, you are nothing to us. Your rank is nothing where we are going. We are devoted to our Lady and compared to her, you are futile. And all the more so for a crazy person like you, Alastor. He finished, his teeth returning to normal.
Charlie doesn't respond, stunned. With a wave of his hand, Taku opened the door, revealing the darkness that lay on the other side. Alastor gave a mocking smile, ignoring Taku's jab.
- We expected no less from such hospitality in these infernal lands. He replied lightly, before leading Charlie after him towards the open door.
Once on the other side, the transition was instantaneous, almost magical. The oppressive red-tinged sky of Pentagram City dissipated, giving way to a clear blue celestial expanse, enveloping the landscape in a soft, soothing light. A breath of fresh air came to caress their faces, sweeping away the heaviness of Hell.
Charlie contemplated this astonishing change with a mixture of astonishment and perplexity. She felt transported to another world, a realm where torment and suffering seemed to evaporate. A light laugh escaped Alastor's lips, savoring the stark contrast between the two realities.
- Welcome to this less gloomy corner of Hell, my dear. He whispered to Charlie, his eyes shining with a mischievous glint.
Following Taku who walked in the lead, Alastor and Charlie embarked on the winding paths of this enchanting landscape. Charlie couldn't suppress his amazement at the peaceful beauty around him. Green meadows stretched as far as the eye could see, caressed by the soft light of the sun. In the distance, majestic trees swayed gently in the breeze, their foliage dancing in harmony with the birdsong.
Her heart leaped with excitement as she observed the inhabitants of this strange place, for a moment she could almost forget Vaggie's betrayal. Fishermen smiled happily as they brought in their day's catch. No violence, no murder, no blood. It was a stark contrast to the Hell she had always known. Maybe not as sumptuous as Heaven, but to her, it was a glimmer of light in the darkness.
Approaching Alastor, Charlie felt the urgent need to clarify the mysteries that hovered around their presence here, in this strange and enchanting world.
- Alastor, she began in a voice filled with a mixture of fascination and perplexity, how come that you know ( y/n ) ? And what is this place that seems so... Different ?
Alastor gave her a teasing smile, his eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint.
- Ah, my dear Charlie. He replied in a nonchalant tone. It's a long story, full of twists and turns and mysteries.
He winked at her, knowing he had piqued her curiosity. But before Charlie could ask any more questions, he added :
- As for this place, it's a kind of... Refuge, if you like. A place where time seems to stand still, where the torments of Hell ease a little. But don't let appearances fool you, my dear. Even here, there are secrets and dangers that await us.
Charlie looked at him with admiration mixed with concern. She knew that even in this relative haven of peace, trouble could arise at any moment.
-And why are we here ? She insisted, determined to get a clear answer this time.
Alastor gave him a knowing look, his smile widening slightly.
- Oh, my dear, are we not here to save our dear hotel from the clutches of adversity ? He replied in a cheerful tone, skillfully avoiding directly answering her question.
Charlie rolled her eyes, knowing she probably wouldn't get a more specific answer from Alastor. But despite her exasperation, she couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement at the idea of the adventure that awaited them. As they advanced peacefully, five other armed sinners appeared from the shadows, threatening and ready to do battle.
The leader of this group raised his weapon, pointing contemptuously at Alastor.
- What are you doing here you bastard ? He roared in a deep and menacing voice.
Charlie felt panic rising within her, her gaze turning to Alastor for a solution.
- Alastor, what do we do ?
Alastor smirked, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
- Well, this looks like it's getting interesting. He replied with a teasing tone, ready to spring into action.
As the sinners stood before them, their weapons brandished in a threatening gesture, Alastor couldn't help but let out a teasing laugh, his gaze shining with a mischievous glint as he approached one of them. 'them.
- My dear friends, is this how you welcome your guests ? He said in a mocking voice, openly defying their hostility.
The sinners stiffened, their expressions mixing bewilderment and anger at the demon's insolent attitude.
- You have guts to come here, Alastor. One of them spat contemptuously, his tone laced with menace. Do you really think you can come in here at will and wreak havoc ?
A smirk tugged at Alastor's lips, a spark of defiance in his gaze.
- Ah, but that’s precisely what I do best, isn’t it ? He replied with a mischievous wink. Bring a little spice to everyday life, shake things up. Besides, if I wanted to hurt anyone here, it would already be done.
His smile widened as red clock faces replaced his pupils, his face twisting into a demonic expression, his smile no longer able to contain his sharp teeth. Deafening, unpleasant sounds of radio whining surrounded the atmosphere, frightening or disconcerting those around them.
After this moment of theatrical intimidation, Alastor suddenly calmed down, letting out a musical laugh that echoed through the air, as if he had just told a particularly funny joke. His facial expression, once distorted by threat, returned to its usual appearance, although his mischievous look remained.
The sinners, meanwhile, stood stunned, looking at Alastor with a mixture of fear and perplexity. They were used to arrogant and hostile demons, but Alastor's combination of imperturbable confidence and playful mischief completely unsettled them.
- I see that you are having trouble following the dance. Alastor stated in a light tone, as if he was talking to confused children. But don't worry, I'm just passing through. No need to bother you further.
Before they can act, Taku abruptly intervenes, his piercing gaze fixed on the sinners.
- Stop your bickering. Stay calm until I give an order. He ordered in a firm voice, keeping them at a distance from any attempted aggression.
The sinners, disoriented, looked at each other, unable to understand why the right arm of their liege stood thus alongside these intruders, and even closer to Alastor, in particular.
- But Taku, they are foreigners. They are not welcome here ! One of them protested, his weapon still aimed at Alastor. Especially a perfidious being like him, whose sole purpose is to sow pain and destruction! It will only revive the suffering in the heart of our Lady !
The disdain in Taku's gaze was palpable, his icy silence echoing in the halo of tension that enveloped the group.
- I know what I'm doing. Don't intervene. He replied in an authoritative tone, putting an abrupt end to any discussion.
Charlie, silent observer of this scene, felt a mixture of relief and incomprehension at Taku's enigmatic attitude. Her grateful gaze rested on him, knowing that he had played a crucial role in calming the situation. Yet, despite this gratitude, she could not help but wonder about the hidden motivations of the mysterious demon, wondering what this pact constituted.
Alastor, although disappointed by the interruption to what could have been an exciting fight, narrowed his eyes warily, bracing himself for any unforeseen events.
- Where is Lady ( y/n ) ? He asked in a calm but firm voice.
The fishermen exchanged uncertain looks before one of them responded in a hesitant voice :
- She is on the top floor, in her tea room, Mr. Taku. She said no one should come and bother her, except you, of course. She is waiting for you.
Nodding, he resumed walking with a determined step, his gaze fixed straight ahead.
- We should continue so that you can leave as soon as possible. He stated in a calm but commanding voice, prompting Alastor and Charlie to follow him.
The five sinners followed closely behind them, their weapons always ready, keeping a watchful eye on the two strangers. Despite their threatening attitude, Alastor, for his part, still wore his eternal smile, taunting the sinners with undisguised amusement.
Meanwhile, Charlie watched the sinners curiously, noticing how happy they seemed in this environment. However, her thoughts were interrupted when she overheard a conversation between two sinners that made her frown.
- You should smile, you know. One of the sinners whispered to the other, his tone laced with a strange mix of gentleness and menace. We don't want to add to Lady's ( y/n ) suffering.
This remark sent chills down Charlie's spine, and he felt a ball of anxiety forming in his stomach.
Taku moved forward without worrying about the tension that reigned around them.
- We should hurry. He declared in a calm but determined voice, prompting the group to pick up their pace.
After walking through the beautiful garden that led them to a secluded building, Taku opened the door and Charlie and Alastor entered with him, leaving the five sinners outside. They advanced through the corridors, following Taku who seemed to know the way by heart.
They finally found themselves in front of an imposing wooden door, whose solid stature seemed to announce the grandeur of the being who resided behind. Taku, with a measured gesture, knocked gently on the wood, thus announcing his presence.
For Charlie, this moment was filled with palpable tension. Her mind repeated the words of her prepared speech, while she mentally prepared herself to face the conundrum that awaited them on the other side. She tried to draw on her determination, ready to defend her beliefs in the face of this mysterious figure.
For his part, Alastor quickly adjusted his outfit and stood up straight, confident, his teasing gaze barely hiding the growing anticipation building within him. He nevertheless approached Charlie, to whisper in his ear with a mixture of seriousness and mischief :
- Be careful of your attitude and your words once inside, my dear. The person we are going to meet is not easily impressed and does not take himself for just anyone.
Charlie nodded silently, appreciating Alastor's caution and advice. Although she felt nervous, she found some comfort in his presence, knowing that he was there to support her in this crucial meeting.
Crossing her fingers that she succeeds.

Prompt
Let's imagine Alastor was ordered to stay at the hotel and the help or hinder aspect wasn't implicitly ordered until Lilith had more information.
Suddenly a redemption exercise goes wrong, magic running wild and suddenly Charlie, Vaggie, Lucifer, Husk and Angel Dusk wake up years in the future with Alastor and Niffty left behind.
With the absence of her daughter and ex-husband Lilith loses interest in the hotel letting Alastor just stay in a standby mode unable to truly leave the hotel for long periods of time eventually forgetting about him as her schemes are put into action.
Eventually Lilith is defeated and detained by the Sins or Angels, her only hope of escape Alastor with his shadow powers, except Alastor is religiously prioritising Lilith's first order out of spite, stay at the hotel.
Alastor is stuck but paradoxical free, he does not surrender, he commits to the bit.
He surprises himself and the other Overlord's who see Alastor running the hotel alone, by taking on Charlie's job and making a sincere effort to redeem people even if only out of boredom and secretly a bit of uncharacteristic grief.
His only choice if he leaves the hotel is freeing Lilith not that anyone else knows this.
The years fly by, Alastor finds himself having a great deal of fun cracking the new residents composure, seeing what makes them tick and watching them struggle towards redemption pushing them this way and that until something clicks and they randomly poof into heaven.
Then the rest of the original hotel return, Ancient Overlord Alastor is running a wildly successful Hazbin Hotel while the rest of Hell basically fell to pieces in the background.
Love it! <3

Here's something about Slavic languages that might seem paradoxical on the surface:
Russian has more German loanwords than Czech.
Actually Russian and Serbian have far more foreign loanwords, like from German, French, Latin, Greek, and English, than do Czech, Slovak, Polish, Ukrainian, Slovenian, or Croatian.
A key difference between Serbian and Croatian is that Serbs prefer loanwords while Croats create new words from native Slavic roots.
But why is that? The logic would be that the two most anti-Western, Euro-sceptic Slavic nations, i.e. the Russians and the Serbs, would have the least number of loanwords from Western languages, and that languages like Czech and Slovenian, which are so close to German-speaking areas and were ruled by Germans for centuries, would have their languages full of German vocabulary. Yet the opposite is true.
Why? Because all Slavic nations that were ruled by Germans, Austrians, and Hungarians, did their best to eradicate as much of non-Slavic words from their speech as possible. In the Austro-Hungarian empire they even coordinated with one another, comparing methods and borrowing neologisms.
In Russia, and from the 19th century Serbia, there was no need for this, because they were independent states, and were quite eager to be seen as enlightened and advanced as their Western counterparts, and so ironically they heavily borrowed vocabulary from the Westerners. The Czechs and Poles never had such a desire, quite the opposite. The most common loanwords in these languages are from Latin and Greek, not living Western languages. Especially not from the language of their German-speaking overlords. The whole point of national revival in these countries was to get rid of German! Something like that never happened in Russian and Serbian culture, even when they fought the Germans physically.

We had the Gym Leaders, Elite Four and the Champion. What else is needed in a Pokémon Game?
That’s right, an evil team!
Tumblr media
Introducing Team Whither!
A team comprised of the gym leaders in other universes!
Led by Paradox Pokémon using Solstice (Dark Sun), grunts are not needed due to the strength of the eight members.
It has two admins. Nexus is the main reason why the region despises the team, as she (YES TRANS NEXUS, SUE ME) modifies 90% of the Pokémon they use, her Arbok being the most obvious. The other admin is Overlord (Lord Eclipse), who is known for using modifiers from other regions (which is illegal, obviously).
The other five have their own evils.
Gibbous (Negative Star Power/ Void Lunar) is tricky to beat and makes sure his Pokémon resist its only weakness to Ground-types.
Penumbra (Blood Solar) has a vicious side. He throws HIMSELF into a Pokémon battle once all of his are knocked out.
Gaia (Evil/ Dictator Earth) specifically only uses Mega Evolution. In her eyes, Mega Evolved Pokémon have more power and can therefore rule over weaker ones.
Jigsaw (Virus Ruin) keeps their opponents busy by attacking their Pokémon while also simultaneously talking at the same time, essentially giving quizzes. Those who don’t answer have had both themselves and their Pokémon severely injured.
Finally, Harvest (Loanshark Bloodmoon) does as their job implies. Stiff you of your money. It’s how the team gets their budget to illegally modify their Pokémon. Even if you do beat them somehow, they won’t give you much… let’s say under the price of an Oran Berry from a Market.

Name:  William  Lucipher  (  Bill  Cipher  )
Aliases:  The  Triangle  Overlord,  Muse,  The  One-Eyed  Beast,  dream  demon,  The  One-Eyed  Oracle
Species:  Demonized  Eldritch  Entity  ,  Euclidean  ,  Interdimensional  Demon
Gender:  Male  (he/him,  but  his  form  and  identity  are  fluid)
Occupation:   deal  broker.
Appearence  :   Bill  has  various  forms  he  loves  to  take.  his  usual  triangular  -  Eye  of  Providence  -  appearance,  various  eldritch  forms  &&   He  also  has  a  humanoid  form  for  social  occasions,  appearing  as  a  dapper  man  in  a  sleek  black-and-gold   suit.  His  skin  is  pale,  his  golden  eye  remains  unmistakable,  and  his  smile  is  unnervingly  wide,  revealing  sharp  incisors.  His  hands  are  clawed,  with  each  finger  elongated  unnaturally.
Backstory: Bill’s  defeat  at  the  hands  of  the  Pines  family  was  an  ignoble  end  for  a  self-proclaimed  god.  When  his  form  disintegrated,  reduced  to  nothingness  by  the  memory  wipe  and  subsequent  unraveling  of  his  physical  and  metaphysical  existence,  following  his  defeat  and  usage  of  his  chant,  a  shattered  and  cracked  Bill  Cipher  left  Stan's  head  and  went  to  meet  the  Axolotl.  He  prayed  to  the  Axolotl  to  save  him,  arguing  that  he  deserves  another  chance  to  live  again.  actually  invoking  the  Axolotl  for  redemption  for  his  crime,  and  that  there  is  one  way  to  get  absolved:  he  has  to  take  "a  different  form"  in  "a  different  time."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The  Axolotl,  having  anticipated  this  moment,  agrees  but  on  one  condition;  Bill  must  absolve  his  crime  by  learning  to  grow  without  denial  and  pass  his  "hardest  trial."  Bill,  however,  fakes  remorse  and  agrees  to  the  deal  before  fully  hearing  the  details  of  his  "hardest  trial,"  thinking  he  had  successfully  tricked  the  Axolotl  into  an  easy  resurrection.  He  would  soon  discover  just  how  difficult  this  trial  would  be.  assuming  to  be  transported  to  the  theraprism  -  he  was  sent  to  hell.     His  revival  wasn’t  instant;  it  was  agonizing  and  painstaking.  When  Bill  finally  reformed,  it  wasn’t  as  the  omnipotent  being  he  once  was.  His  powers  were  diminished,  his   forms  unstable  and  flickering  like  a  dying  star.  He  quickly  realized  that  the  rules  in  Hell  were  unlike  those  of  the  multiverse  he  once  dominated.  Here,  the  hierarchy  was  rigid,  and  power  was  determined  by  influence  ,  manipulation,   knowledge.   Bill  saw  Hell  not  as  a  prison  but  as  an  opportunity  —a  new  playground  ripe  for  his  machinations.  The  infernal  realm  was  a  swirling  cesspool  of  broken  dreams  and  desperate  desires,  and  Bill  knew  how  to  exploit  those  better  than  anyone.  With  his  ability  to  craft  deals  and  manipulate  minds,  he  began  amassing  a  following  among  the  lesser  demons,  outcasts,  and  damned  souls.
In  Hell,  Bill  embraces  his  role  as  an  agent  of  pure  chaos.  He  views  himself  as  a  necessary  force,  shaking  up  the  monotony  of  eternal  damnation.  His  ultimate  goal  remains  the  same:  to  reclaim  the  godlike  power  he  once  wielded.  However,  he’s  learned  from  his  defeat  in  the  living  world  and  now  operates  with  more  caution  and  patience,  ensuring  that  his  rise  is  both  inevitable  and  irreversible.
Powers  &  Abilities:
Reality  Manipulation:  Can  twist  Hell's  physics  to  his  liking—creating  paradoxes,  reshaping  landscapes,  and  summoning  objects  or  creatures.
Dream  Manipulation:  Invades  the  dreams  of  demons  and  sinners  alike,  implanting  his  influence.
Deals  &  Contracts:  Masters  in  striking  dangerous  deals.  He  can  grant  power,  information,  or  favors,  but  his  contracts  always  come  with  dire  consequences
Mind  Control  &  Possession:  Takes  control  of  those  he  made  pacts  with  or  influences  their  thoughts  subtly.  planting  ideas  or  fears.
Personality:  a  cunning,  blasphemous,  eccentric,  sadistic,  psychopathic  and  physically  irreverent  being  who  finds  most  things  amusing,  particularly  if  they  cause  distress  or  harm  to  others.  He  is  outrageous  and  outlandish,  as  well  as  a  quick  talker  and  thinker.  Though  he  may  come  across  as  simply  annoying,  he  shouldn't  be  underestimated;  for  when  he  is  angered,  he  is  a  force  to  be  reckoned  with  as  he  will  unleash  his  near-omnipotent  powers  on  those  unfortunate  enough  to  make  him  angry.  When  accused  of  being  insane,  Bill  proudly  agrees  with  the  statement.  He  is  also  shown  to  be  somewhat  obnoxious,   Occasionally,  his  voice  tumbles  to  a  lower  pitch  (usually  when  emphasizing  a  statement).
As  a  demonic  dealmaker,  Bill  is  also  shown  to  be  a  highly  manipulative,  very  charismatic  and  charming  conman  being  able  to  easily  trick  individuals  into  believing  that  he  was  just  a  humble  muse  who  simply  wished  to  help  benefit  the  human  world  by  providing  them  with  forbidden  knowledge  when  in  reality  he  was  only  ever  using  the  researcher  for  his  own  purposes.
Bill  is  not  one  who  believes  in  rules.  Instead,  he  follows  his  own  selfish  philosophy  which  means  doing  whatever  he  wants  without  care  for  the  consequences.  He  thinks  of  laws  and  physics  as  senseless  and  displays  an  irresistible  urge  to  break  those  rules  down  by  causing  absolute  chaos  however  he  can.  The  lives  he  ruins  hold  no  merit  to  him  and  he  finds  amusement  in  tormenting  and  turning  people's  worlds  upside-down.  He  also  sees  reality  as  "an  illusion"  and  values  its  destruction.
Egotistical,  sadistic,  and  flamboyant,  with  a  love  for  chaos  and  destruction.
Charismatic  and  cunning,  easily  convincing  others  to  do  his  bidding.
Thrives  on  manipulation  and  playing  with  the  desires  of  others,  often  finding  humor  in  their  misfortune.
Despite  his  chaotic  nature,  he’s  strategic  and  knows  when  to  play  his  cards  carefully.
 Goals:
To  reign  supreme  in  Hell,  establishing  himself  as  the  ultimate  Overlord  by  dismantling  all  sense  of  order.
To  turn  Hell  into  a  chaotic  paradise  where  nothing  is  predictable,  and  he  alone  holds  the  key  to  stability  (if  he  so  chooses).
To  influence  the  living  world  through  his  contracts  and  deals,  spreading  his   influence  beyond  Hell.
Weaknesses:
Hell's  Hierarchy:  Despite  his  power,  Bill  is  bound  by  the  rules  of  Hell  and  must  answer  to  higher-ranking  demons.
Soul  Contracts:  Breaking  a  deal  he  has  made  or  being  outwitted  by  clever  loopholes  can  weaken  him  temporarily.  and  piss  him  off  greatly  when  what  was  on  the  line  something  he  really  needed.
Tumblr media
Rise  to  Power  :   Bill  didn’t  rise  to  power  through  brute  force  or  sheer  numbers  like  many  other  overlords.  Instead,  he  exploited  the  very  foundations  of  Hell:  desire,  greed,  and  desperation.  He  became  the  go-to  entity  for  demons and  sinners  looking  for  shortcuts  to  power,  revenge,  or  salvation.  His  deals  were  famously  irresistible  —  and  equally  infamous  for  their  consequences.  Hell  is  a  place  where  the  cunning  thrive  and  the  weak  are  consumed.  Bill,  though  diminished,  was  still  a  master  manipulator,  and  his  tongue  was  as  sharp  as  ever.  He  began  his  climb  to  power  by  doing  what  he  did  best:  making  deals.  Bill’s  rise  to  overlord  status  was  not  straightforward.  He  started  small,  offering  deals  to  desperate  souls  in  exchange  for  their  loyalty.  He  provided  knowledge,  power,  and  temporary  salvation,  always  ensuring  that  his  contracts  were  ironclad  and  twisted  to  his  advantage.
One  by  one,  he  toppled  minor  demon  lords,  not  by  fighting  them  directly  but  by  orchestrating  their  downfalls  through  intrigue  and  betrayal-  devouring  demons  to  regain  his  once  omnipresence.   Bill  reveled  in  the  destruction  he  created,  exploiting  the  weaknesses  those  who  dare  opposed  him.
Bill  started  small,  targeting  desperate  souls  with  promises  of  power,  revenge,  or  pleasure.  His  contracts  were  ironclad,  always  skewed  heavily  in  his  favor.  One  soul  at  a  time,  he  began  collecting  power,  feeding  on  the  energies  of  those  he  tricked  to  gradually  rebuild  his  strength.  Bill’s  next  move  was  to  disrupt  the  power  structure  of  Hell  itself.  He  sowed  distrust  among  lesser  demons,  pitted  overlords  against  one  another.  Always  playing  the  long  game,  Bill’s  cannibalistic  nature  extends  beyond  consuming  flesh.  By  devouring  the  souls  of  his  victims,  he  gains  fragments  of  their  memories  and  abilities,  Bill’s  ascent  was  marked  by  grotesque  violence,   and  acts  of  unspeakable  horror.  Lacking  his  full  former  power,  he  resorted  to  devouring  the  essence  of  lesser  demons,  consuming  their  souls  and  incorporating  fragments  of  their  abilities  into  himself.  This   practice  became  one  of  his  trademarks,  and  stories  of  his  ‘   feasts  ’   spread.
Bill  would  infiltrate  their  domains,  destabilize  their  alliances,  and  feast  on  their  essence  in  the  aftermath  of  his  bloody  takeovers.  His  signature  style  involved  leaving  grotesque  "art"  displays  behind  —  scenes  of  twisted,  nightmarish  carnage  meant  to  disorient  and  leave  passerby's  paranoid.
The  Vees  and  Bill  Cipher  Bill  would  not  align  himself  permanently  with  the  Vees  (Valentino,  Vox,  Velvet,  etc.),  but  he  would  interact  with  them  occasionally,  viewing  them  as  both  rivals  (?)  and  sources  of  entertainment  when  hes  bored.  Ultimately,  Bill  remains  independent,  refusing  to  tie  himself  down  to  any  single  faction.  His  alliances,  if  they  exist,  are  always  temporary  and  self-serving.
