Ranboo had never told his friends or his fans about his twin brother, it just never seemed like important information and it never really came up. He had mentioned once or twice that he had a brother but had never said much more than that. So when he met up in the UK with Tubbo and Tommy, they decided to film a stream where they reacted to scary Buzzfeed videos.

They ended up choosing a video where Shane and Ryan had a special guest with them, that guest being you.

“So as I said before, today we have a special guest.” Shane dragged you on screen, your face covered with a mask and sunglasses. Tommy reached over and paused the video, turning to face Ranboo.

“You never told us that you were in a Buzzfeed video.”

“I wasn’t.”

“Dude, you’re standing right there.” Ranboo just unpaused the video, leaving the two bewildered.

“Here with us today is (Y/n), also known as (Y/T/n) on Twitch. Fun fact, he has a twin brother who is also a twitch streamer!”

“You have a twin brother?”

“Yep.”

“And you never told us?”

“You never asked.”

“As I’ve stated before, I will only do one demonic investigation per season so (Y/n) will be our sacrifice.”

“We’re also sleeping there!” The video went on to them explaining the place and what the plan was. Once inside they explored the place, catching all kinds of accidental evidence on camera. The freakiest thing about the whole video was the spirit box, it would only respond to you.

“What is your name?” The response was a mash of different words, no clear answer being given.

“(Y/n) you do it.”

“What is your name?” This time a clear response came through, it was a male’s voice saying a name.

“You’re seriously cursed dude.” Throughout the whole spirit box session, you were the only one able to get clear answers from the ‘demon.’ Leading the other two to believe you were cursed.

“I’m supposed to be in the UK with my brother, not doing this.”

“Alright well we’re all gonna try and get some sleep, we each have a camera and will all be staying in different rooms.” The whole staying in different rooms didn’t last long as banging noises in your room led you to hiding in Ryan’s room with him and then both of you running to Shane’s room when the banging followed you.

“It was probably just animals in the walls or something.”

“Nope, there was no way that an animal could make a noise that loud.” The video ended a short while later, leaving the three boys to chat.

“I think the scariest thing about this is the fact that you have a twin brother and that he’s coming to the UK.”

“He’s already in the UK, he’s staying with a friend of his.”

“I wanna meet him, tell him to come over.”

“I’ll call him tomorrow and see if he’s busy.”

“No, tell him to come over now.”

“Tubbo it is almost ten thirty, I’m not gonna make him come over.”

“We wanna meet RanBrother.”

“You can meet him tomorrow.”

“Which of you is older?”

“That’s not important.”

“How would you know that?”

“Because you refuse to answer the question.”

Groaning, Tommy's brother slaps his arm, making the older one chuckle and turn the camera back onto Y/N. "He likes to tell this to everyone we meet, but you know at least they wanted me, unlike you." Y/N replies with a small smirk present on his lips.

"Fuck you man!" Tommy exclaims, chasing his laughing brother around the park the trio were currently in.

Flipping the camera that Tommy gave him before running off, Ranboo shakes his head chuckling before sayin, " Y/N may be adopted but their humor is surely the same. "

you would often tell the boys how much you loved them and we're genuinely happy and grateful that y'all were friends

and ranboo, if the compliment wasn't aimed at him, even if you clearly added tommy or tubbo's name at the end, would always reply "thank you" or something similar

however it's different if the compliment is directed at them!

ranboo would thank you, do a small laugh that's half flustered half awkward, and then complement you back (he got less awkward and flustered as he got more used to it though!)

you could hear the smile in tubbo's voice as he loudly thanks you and gives you like 3 compliments in return

tommy, it would depend if either of y'all are streaming or not! yes? "I know" all jokingly cocky like. no? "thank you, I guess" he says it as a half joke, it's a genuine thank you, but he likes keeping it playful so the "I guess" is thrown on, it's random if he gives you a complement back or not, it's literally not even dependant on how he feels, it just at random

like while your streaming you like "tommy!! I love you, thank you for being my friend :)" and him, completely disregarding the last bit, would reply "EWW, Y/N YOU DO KNOW IM I MINOR CORRECT??"

if him ever saying ew hurts your feelings then he won't say it, however he will say the rest, unless him deflecting your "ily" makes you feel bad as well, it's fairly easy to crack him to say it back since you're best friends

a lot of back and forth, but not too hard since he never wants to genuinely hurt you

ALSO if you complement him (on stream ofc) he will find a way to turn it around, not onto you, but just turning into something too tame to be labeled and insult but definitely something close!

as a rising streamer, of course you have Twitter, and your subtwt isn't toxic – due to your personality and stuff, the people you attract to your content are all pretty loving and chill! ofc there's a few bad eggs, but that's just what happens, you choose to ignore those few

but since you've gotten more popular, people finding you through your more popular friends, you've seen a rise of tweets mentioning you, whether it be in general or in the boy's replies

you're glad to be getting more popular, now you can find more people who seek comfort from your content, which was your goal when you started anyway! so it's all exciting! ..at first.

rise in people means rise of people in the toxic 1%, and also means rise of haters or people who just don't like you

sometimes you come across tweets like "why does y/n feel the need to be around ranboo, tubbo, and tommy? leave them alone ffs, she got her fame she wanted, she can leave now 🙄✋" and "we get it, girl streamers are less talented so you needed to leech off they boys' talent! like is she done yet or??" or occasional tweets saying something about shipping – which is against not only your boundaries but all of they boys' as well.

the replies being full of "use s/n, using her real name is breaking her boundaries! and if you have an issue, then don't watch the streams she's in, dickhead!", "you could just mute her name on here and not follow her twitch, you're being overdramatic for no reason", "hey hey, remember that s/n checks her indirects", "ew, deactivate", "aw, are you scared bc a girl is better than you at gaming? aw you gonna cry??", etc, makes you feel a bit better, but the punch from the original tweet lingers

after seeing a bit more, you saw the majority of the haters – and weird people – you saw the root of it was probably because you were so affectionate towards you friends and just being around them in general

so, it'd be best to stop, right? don't participate in as many streams, stop being so affectionate in general, to be honest you were already quite anxious that you being so "clingy" was annoying, the hate just solidified it

so you have a plan in line, the hard part is executing it :(

to start, you stopped complimenting them as much on stream, and the late phone calls lessened, and those became more and more noticeable before you "got too busy" to be in as many streams as you used to

I feel like ranboo would notice first and try talking to you before bringing it up to tommy and tubbo, but when you replied "oh! yeah I'm good dw :)" he knew it was a lie and went to the others

"what do you think is going on?" "I'm not sure" "whatever it is, do you think this is why she stopped being so affectionate? I miss it"

then it clicked for tommy while ranboo and tubbo still tried to figure it out

"do you think it's family problems?" "no, last time they has family problems they became more clingy and their phone calls were more frequent, not-" "wait wait wait"

tommy checked your social media platforms, of course they had more followers than before

"what? tommy?" "I think it's more of an online hate problem" tommy leaned back in his chair, running his hands over his face before looking over at the discord call as the two others made sounds of shock, "yeah, this started after her platform got bigger and she got more well known" "..you're right" "how- how do we fix it?" "address it on a stream?" "no, no, not yet, I think we should contact y/n first, see if she'll tell us if we're right or not" "I could try? last time I texted her she responded pretty quickly so maybe that still applies?" "yeah, tell us if we're right or not and we'll continue from there"

so ranboo texted you, making sure to form the text to get to the point but not scare you, he knows how anxiety inducing confrontation, especially from friends, can be for you

you didn't know exactly how to respond, would it be better if you lied? or would the truth be better?

after a few times of the "..." appearing and disappearing on ranboo's screen before you message of ",, yeah, that is the reason actually ;; I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I thought it'd be better to just distance myself :(" sent through

the boys on call could hear the frown in ranboo's voice when he sighed and said "oh" "were we right?" "just a second"

ranboo replied to you, reassuring you that you don't don't have to apologize for not telling them and it isn't your fault, making sure to remind you that you can come to either him, tommy, or tubbo whenever you want

"yeah, she got hate, and I guarantee that if we go through her indirects then we'll see what exactly happened, we may have to scroll a bit though" so they searched around on Twitter and found some, then tubbo spoke "do you think she would want to join call so we can figure out what to do to fix this?" "I can text her, though maybe we can more of distract and comfort her tonight? we can talk about the hate and stuff another time" "yeah yeah, I think that's a good idea"

so he texted you to see if you'd like to join the call, you accepted and ended up playing video games with them – mainly Minecraft servers – for a few hours before tommy had you and ranboo (assuming you're in the US or close) sign off to get some sleep (if you're in the UK or close, he had you and tubbo sign off and then signed off himself for some sleep)

the next day you guys hopped back on call to discuss how you guys would fix it, as well as them giving a bunch of positive comments about your affection :)

you guys decided on a serious stream from Tommy's account, it was either tommy or ranboo's account, but you guys chose tommy bc he's not anxious about turning off donos and other things

you guys discussed that the hate you were getting was uncalled for, and the weird comments were to be stopped immediately.

"I think that's everything? y/n, anything else?" "yeah I think that's about it, thank you guys so much!!" now whenever hate stuff it posted the replies have screenshots of either tommy, tubbo, or ranboo's tweets, links to the VOD, or clips, stating the most important and the tweet is usually taken down within a matter of hours – days sometimes

and after that everything was back to normal!! you started complimenting them again, telling them how much you love them again, etc etc! you even got back into late calls :)

it had been the three of you since day one, the iconic platonic marriage trio. always together, interacting on streams, platonically flirting on twitter, and never once letting the smile slip from your faces. there wasn’t a soul on the smp that didn’t know about your little trio.

or so you thought.

day by day, you felt the two of them slip away. they shifted, ever so slightly. their relationship became different. stronger, deeper, more connected. without you.

ranboo and tubbo had noticed your interactions as well. they weren’t blind, but they wanted to have whatever made you happy. they tried to reach you, but they were too scared to break your fun. so they watched from a distance, smiling with regret dripping from their teeth. they felt guilty- had they made you feel awful enough to make you leave?

whilst laughing along with tommy and his antics, he suggests something.

“y/n- maybe we should get platonically married”

pausing slightly, you thought of ranboo and tubbo.

the apology was very sweet, and although it was a bit shocking, you couldn’t help but feel happiness bubble in your throat. you couldn’t be too mad at them, after all they were your best friends. they had also realized their mistake, rather than asking you what they did wrong and playing the victim card.

You recently felt like a cold was coming on when your nose became stuffy and your throat scratchy.

Of course, the first people you told were your bestfriends, aka the benchtrio™️.

They were immediately worried for you and invited you to stay with them at Tubbo’s place as (let’s say) your parents were out of town.

When you got there, you were showered with the boys asking you multiple questions.

“Does your head hurt?”

“Do you feel okay?”

“Need anything to drink, y/n?”

It made your heart melt tbh.

They let you have a nice warm bath and left you a pair of sweatpants and one of Ranboo’s sweaters.

When you were done, Tommy led you to the couch that was filled with a bunch of blankets, pillows, and snacks.

After getting situated and Tommy making sure you were comfortable, he gave you some pills to take for your headache and Tubbo brought you some soup.

The trio sat on the couch with you, not caring if they got sick from it, and watched your favourite show/movie with you.

If you ever felt like you needed to throw up, Ranboo would be the first one up,

Given he’s the quickest.

Tall = fast.

He would grab a pale or help you to the bathroom for you to throw up.

He’s hold your hair behind you and rub your back soothingly.

He’d tell you reassuring things like;

“Everything will be okay, y/n.”

“You’re taking the sickness like a champ!”

Tubbo and Tommy would be by the doorway bc of course, they were worried.

They’d probably try to joke you through the pain and sweat.

And you’d laugh and then cough.

Tommy and Tubbo literally go 😧.

In the end, tell them they did a wonderful job taking care of you, they truly are the bestest friends to you.

I was also wondering if you could do The bench trio X Gn! Hybrid Reader! Where the reader is a Fox hybrid!

The reader likes to play tricks/pranks on people! Especially the Dream Team! And while setting up a prank, the bench trio sees them and asks why they’re doing! The reader tells them and Tommy and Tubbo ask if they can join! Dragging Ranboo into it!

After that they hang out a lot and pull pranks in people! The reader also stealing from The Dream Team and Techno sometimes!

A little thing you can add if you want is that the reader gifts a lot of gifts to their friends! Tommy keeps all the little gifts in a secret chest! Tubbo keeps them in a separate room on his house! [y/n] smiled mischievously as they rounded the corner, making sure that the unsuspecting victim (which at the moment, is badboyhalo) couldn't see them. they wanted to make sure that their trick worked, so that they could possibly use it on someone else later. of course, they would apologize to bad, because they still value him as a friend, but even friends play pranks on each other every now and again.

their ears perked up as they heard talking from around the corner they just turned. peaking their head around, [y/n] was greeted with some of their closest friends: tommy, tubbo, and ranboo.

"oh, hey guys!" they greeted, with a small wave as they repositioned themself so that they could talk to their friends, and watch bad at the same time.

the trio watches [y/n]'s eyes light up as the demon, once dry, is covered in water. they all hear him shout and see him look around, as if to try and catch the culprit. bad glances over at the corner just in time to see [y/n] duck behind it.

Sometimes, you were really lucky to have Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo in your life. They were your rock on numerous occasions, like today. You felt like hell had decided to move residences into your body and while you were ready to just curl up and die silently by yourself, they didn’t seem to agree since as soon as you said you weren’t feeling up to going out to see them today you heard a knock at your door and were being greeted by four boys.

“Y/N,” Tommy whined out, “let us in.”

And you did, clearly, they wanted to bring the fun to you.

Wilbur was the best boyfriend you could ever ask for; it really didn’t surprise you that he came by. Whenever you weren’t feeling well, whether you were sick or just in pain, he usually showed up. The other three were a little more surprising because you were sure they would rather be off doing something chaotic, but it was really nice to have all of them here. Even though they were all vastly different in how they help make you feel better.

Ranboo was the most normal. Occasionally he would make a joke about you dying but for the most part he was acting like it was a normal day. Actually, making jokes about death was a normal day. Which was honestly needed compared to how the rest of your company acted when you weren’t feeling well.

Tubbo was good at comforting. When he was on his own. Tommy and Ranboo being added to the mix meant he was a little more amped up than normal. He tried to still comfort you, he did, he checked in with you throughout the night and asked if you needed anything, but you would also hear noises from another room in the house and you were sure that when you checked tomorrow, you would find something broken and a bad attempt at repairing it.

“I swear that I’ll fix it, I’m so sorry Y/N.”

“It’s okay, Tubbo, just...be careful next time?”

Tommy was...well, Tommy. Loud and obnoxious. If you had a headache, it would have put you through more hell than you were already in, but thankfully you didn’t. He would try doing things for you, but it would keep going wrong somehow, food for you would burn or he’d take your blanket from you because he was cold. “But, Y/N, I’m the guest and I’m cold.” It was slightly annoying but, as is part of Tommy’s charm, it was endearing.

Wilbur was the complete opposite. He was so worried about you, and it showed in everything he did. Unlike Tommy, things typically went right when Wilbur tried it. Though, it was a tad overbearing. The minute he stepped foot in your home, you no longer needed to lift a finger. Hungry? He’ll cook something for you. Cold? He would say a quick and stern, “Tommy give that blanket back to him you fucking raccoon.” It was nice to get a heating pad quickly or have someone try to reign in Tommy and Tubbo but it was slightly annoying.

Still, you appreciated them all. Even though the pain didn’t necessarily go away, they were a nice distraction.

The best part of the night was at the end, everyone was getting sleepy, so Tommy had finally calmed down a tad and the four of you were on your couch. Well, you and Wilbur were on your couch, the three boys had decided to sprawl out on the floor in front of your couch, blankets and pillows everywhere the eye could see. You put on a movie and cuddled up with your boyfriend, your head on his shoulder, as the three younger ones slowly fell asleep.

“Thank you,” you started, having to pause when a yawn escaped your lips, “for coming over. You didn’t have to.”

“Of course I did, the best boyfriend needs the best care.” He gave you a soft kiss on the top of your head as you closed your eyes and drifted off to sleep. Surrounded by your favorite people in the world.

Running from crazy fans was not something the Bench Trio had expected or hoped for today. And yet they found themselves losing track of each other as they desperately ran in any open direction they could find, they could always regroup later.

Tumbling through many streets and occasionally in between buildings, Tubbo found himself in an unfamiliar part of town. The fans were gone, but so was his sense of direction, he had no idea how he had gotten to where he was or how he was going to find his way back.

“Fuck, what do I do now?” Tubbo looked around, he would’ve called Tommy or Ranboo but he didn’t want to get them caught by fans, so he shot a text in a group chat and paced around. Tubbo soon found himself in a more open part of town, though he still couldn’t figure out where he was. He did recognize someone though.

“Ranboo!” The shorter boy raced over to his tall friend, immediately gushing about how he was so tired from running and how he’s never been in this part of town before and how he was so glad to see a familiar face, er half face.

“Weren’t you wearing your black and white mask earlier? Maybe I’m just mixing up days. Anyways, let's try and find our way back, I’m sure Tommy is looking for us.” Naturally, you would’ve said something about how you were the other twin or how you weren’t Ranboo but with Tubbo’s constant chatter about being lost you simply didn’t have a chance to speak. Not that you were really going to say much anyways, you were kinda tempted to stay quiet and see how everything would play out, you only hoped that when Tubbo, and whoever he happened to be with, wouldn’t mind.

A short time had passed and Tubbo had eventually received a text from Tommy, he was at a park and with Ranboo or so he claimed.

“Tommy is crazy, how could he be with you if you’re right here with me? Crazy right?” Tubbo’s question was rhetorical, not that he would have given you a chance to answer anyways.

“Do you know where this park is? Wait why am I asking you, you’re not even from here.” Tubbo shook his head at himself, opening a gps app and looking for the park. Thankfully it was only about a minute walk from where the two of you were currently stood.

“Huh, I guess he somehow ran the same way as me. Anyways let’s go!” Tubbo cheerly grabbed your arm, dragging you in the direction of where Tommy was supposedly at. You were now hesitant to follow after him, he was going to meet with Tommy and your brother after all, your small prank would be revealed and whether they laughed or not would be decided only by fate.

As time dragged on, and Tubbo dragged you, you found yourself regretting going along with the idea in the first place, wanting nothing more than to be back where Tubbo found you.

“Look there he is! Tommy!” Tubbo waved excitedly, eventually bouncing off in Tommy’s direction, which you slowly followed in.

“Wait, Ranboo? How can you be with Tommy when I was just-” His words cut short as he looked between you and your brother, struggling to find words to complete the thoughts in his head.

“Oh hey (Y/n), what are you doing here?”

“Tubbo kidnapped me, he was talking so much that I never got the chance to tell him that I was me and not you so eventually I just followed along and figured I would explain later.” You rubbed the back of your neck as you explained yourself, awkwardly smiling at the trio.

“Yeah sounds about right, well would you like to join us? We were filming a video when we got chased by fans so now we have to change up the video plans a bit.”

When the boys said "come to the beach with us" you were not expecting the fact you had to swim. Or atleast not until it was to late. You were getting ready to go, long shorts to cover your scars on your upper legs, a short sleeve shirt, and basically what you would normally wear. You were just about to leave your room, to then leave your house when your phone buzzed one more time.

You sighed. The last thing you wanted was to have to swim. It's not cause you couldn't, or didn't enjoy it, it's just the fact that the swimming costume you had wouldn't cover your scars like the shorts once did. You went back into your room to find your swimming costume, thinking about how you could hide the scars. The only thing you could resort to was an oversized hoodie, you knew the boys would pull you straight in as soon as you got there, and it was meant to be hot for the rest of the week so it would soak your only current availabile pair of shorts, which you didn't want. You went downstairs, slid on some sliders, grabbed your stuff and left. "Let's hope they don't ask" you said to yourself if repeat.

When you eventually got there, you didn't know where they were, so you sent them a message.

You stood there anxiously waiting for Tubbo to arrive. The sooner the worst, opposing what people normally say. The sooner he get there is the sooner you'll have to face alot of questions, which you didn't want.

Unfortunately, but also fortunately?, he arrived. You stood there in your oversized hoodie with your swimsuit underneath hoping no questions will be asked. Tubbo and Ranboo don't normally ask about stuff like that, despite the fact Tubbo never thinks before he speaks, it's more Tommy to worry about. He normally blurts out a question really loud and when (if) it makes someone awkward he immediately regrets it. "Hey Y/N!" Tubbo called from just over the car park. You swallowed a lump in your throat, hoping not just him, but any of the others wouldn't ask. "Hey Tubbo." You called back, signalling him to come over with a smile on your face. He ran over as fast as he could, almost tripping over the bags full of things to do at the beach, like buckets and spades, nets for ball games etc etc. "Could you maybe let Ranboo know we're here? I've kinda got, uh, full hands." He asked, holding up the bags he almost tripped over. You nodded and pulled out your phone, opening Discord.

Little did you know while you were messaging him, Tubbo was looking at your attire, questioning why you were wearing what you were wearing on such a warm day. But he decided not to question, continuing on with his day. Ranboo finally turned up, and he made a strange look at you both, you unable to tell if it was about your attire or Tubbo with his 5 bags behind you. "Right, let's go then." He said, before walking off with you both following behind.

You finally turned the corner to see Tommy with the beach set up, which surprisingly wasn't abandoned or destroyed. You and Tubbo waved at Tommy before you all sat down and began to talk. You were counting down the time until Tommy blurted out the question, and you made a bet he'd do it within 10-12 minutes of you turn up. You only cut short on that bet though, as he blurted it out a mere 9 minuted in. "Why you wearing that hoodie?" He shouted not to loudly, but still loud enough. The other 2 looked at you, curious to get an answer to the question they've been asking themselves since the start of the day. You sighed, and took a moment before answering. You knew they wouldn't force you, but you also knew that they wouldn't mind giving you a confidence boost if you told them. You took another breath before explaining. "It's cause of self harm scars that aren't covered by the swimsuit. I know it's stupid that it happened in the past but it still makes me self conscious and makes me think people are constantly staring at me." The boys all looked at eachother, before Tubbo reached into one of his many bags and pulled out a spare pair of shorts. Everyone looked at him in confusion, including you, questioning everything about him until this point. "Well? Do you want to use them or not?" You took the shorts and put them on, taking off your hoodie afterwards. You looked down at your legs to check, and they sure did cover what you wanted covered. "Now come on, let's go!" Tommy grabbed your wrist pulling you off your chair (which made you almost fall) as he dragged you at full speed to the water. The day was filled with laughter and no one shutting up, resulting in alot annoyed people around you.
