Charlie Vickers' eye colour

I've seen someone asking about Charlie's eye colour, and the understanding that I've come to, after having seen some quality photos with good lighting and after having drawn his eyes a few times (also by making use of the colour picker), is that his eyes are green in the outline, yellowish in the middle and copper in the innermost circle around the pupil.

Somewhat like an early autumn leaf.

I may be wrong, of course, but this is the discourse which I'm working with. It seems to me that it is the reason why they often appear either green or brown based on the lighting.

I knoww this isn't the cleanest painting ever but I'm really proud of it 🥺 And that dress is 100% my design inspired by exaggerated rococo dresses 😁 Think of it less as like. Historically accurate and more fantastical.
