Ah, I’ve gotten to the hate prompted by my “bisexuals stop talking over and for pansexuals thank you very much” post.

First, this blog believes all mspec labels are valid.  You can identify as one over the other because you find a flag prettier, because one resonates with you on some sort of spiritual level, or because you have trauma around one label but not another.  Whatever; ALL reasons are valid.

Two: no, your chosen label is not “taking away from bisexuality”, it’s not “inherently biphobic/transphobic”, or whatever their new made-up talking point is.  As the Bisexual Manifesto itself would say:

There are as many definitions of bisexuality as there are bisexuals.  Many of us choose not to label ourselves anything at all, and find the word “bisexual to be inadequate and too limiting.

Remember: this shit is not pie.  A label is not a limited resource that needs your goddamn gatekeeping.

I actually find it so funny how (typically battle axe bi) panphobes will be like “Learn bi/your history!! Stop erasing our history! You’re ruining and tarnishing and destroying bi history by identifying as pan!!! >:(((” and then will literally just lie and make up shit about the history of pansexuality, and even bisexuality and the community itself
