Moley is preparing their Thanksgiving feast for everyone in Mirror World! (The holiday is giving thanks to Dark Mind for existing)

What’s everyone bringing to the potluck?

Dark Meta Knight brought Radish Ruins sikil p’ak (pumpkin seed dip), in the spirit of the autumn season. He didn’t feel like cooking anything too complicated that day. Unlike a certain someone, the meals he makes are surprisingly edible.

Shadow Kirby brought pumpkin pie and sweet apple cider, steeped with cinnamon sticks and other warm spices (child-friendly, of course). They may not have that big of an appetite, but they do love pie!

Shadow Dedede brought stuffing with smoked fish sausage, toasted bread and fresh herbs. He stressed quite a bit about getting everything right; Mega Titan was quick to lend him a hand.

King Golem brought a roast beast; perfectly crispy skin, tender meat, painstakingly dry brined in salt and herbs and brown sugar for several days, stuffed with bread and sausage, and roasted with citrus and aromatics. His people have fallen on hard times ever since they got sued by Wizards of the Coast, but he managed to splurge for the occasion.

Moley brought fluffy mashed tubers - the noblest of all starches - with generous amounts of cream, melted butter, cave-aged cheese, roasted garlic, bacon bits and chives. Only the best and boldest for his beloved lord of the labyrinth.

Wiz brought enchanted apple fritters dusted with cinnamon sugar and drizzled in caramel. They’re tasty, but have an odd tendency to cause drowsiness in those who eat too many.

Gabriel brought baked shellfish mac n’ cheese with a golden breadcrumb topping, packed with sweet lobster and flaky crabmeat.

Kracko brought freshly baked bread rolls, cornbread and biscuits, prepared with plenty of help from his Waddle Doos. He doesn’t go here (‘here’ being the Mirror World), but was invited to participate in the festivities nonetheless.

Mega Titan brought varenyky filled with potatoes, caramelized onions, and meaty boletes foraged from the neighbouring pine forest.

Master Hand brought a tasting plate of desserts from distant galaxies. Buttery, glistening caramel candies imported from the golden shores of Eagleland; colourful, cream-filled sweets with elaborate toppings that may or may not be pet food; a tart full of tender, caramelized peaches that electrocuted Moley and put DMK in a coma.

Crazy Hand brought his world famous Allegra® chicken.

Dark Taranza brought ucuiltamalli (maguey worm tamales) and Sporalian michmolli with fresh cavefish and olm. At first he tried hypnotizing Moley into cooking something delicious for him but that turned out to be more of a headache than actually, like, cooking it himself.

Parallel Susie brought cranberry sauce (slightly burnt) and dubious elixir. Dart shotgunned two bottles’ worth à la Stone Cold Steve Austin and then he threw up.

opinion on Kracko?

He's fine!

I really like what they did with him in TDX. His bossfight there used the foreground-background mechanics in a unique and interesting way, and the attacks they gave him are cool. (His DX design is also cool! I love the stripes!)

He was also neat in Epic Yarn. In that one, he's a miniboss in one of the rocket ship shooter levels, and he even gets his own music! (It's like a five second loop, but still-) As a whole, I really love the shooter levels in this series.

I think he's at his worst in Star Allies. They couldn't think of anything more interesting to do with him than add another one? Parallel Kracko is also boring and lame.

I think his design is fun, if a little generic. Like I said, they really nailed it in TDX. I'm also a sucker for anything with electricity powers, so that's a plus. Overall, I would say I think positively about this guy.

ive been having tons of fun developing Parallel Popstar's Void Corruption lately so heres a lil something i made recently for that: the Void Golem! it's a parasitic Void Beast called a Void Hijacker, and they are about the size of a regular Puffball. one of them took control of a huge statue of the previous queen, Axis.

related side note but the "Parallel" bosses from Kirby Star Allies also exist in my au:

Parallel Woods is the Void Arbor, a titanic tree that is capable of controlling the bizarre plant life of the Void.

Parallel Kracko is the Void Storm, a gargantuan and unpredictable weather system that causes havoc for those who linger uninvited in the Void for too long.

Parallel Meta Knight is the Void Blade, a small but incredibly powerful and ruthless swordfighter that can conjure up terrifyingly dangerous blizzards.

Parallel Dedede is the Void King, but despite that title it offers more of a support role, powering up Void Beasts around itself and occasionally crushing those near it with its huge hammer.

all of these ultimately serve Parallel Null, an entity so thoroughly corrupted by the Void that nothing of its old self remains. despite its extremely violent and animalistic disposition, its "Four Horsemen" (as called by the deities) protect it fiercely.

one more thing while im kind of on the topic: succumbing to the Void Corruption is an extremely slow and painful process. as for what exactly happens, i dont have any idea yet, but i do know that those suffering from it eventually become hyper-aggressive towards everyone. the worst part is that in its early stages it is VERY ADDICTIVE, similar to smoking.

Who do you think sealed Dark Nebula and how did it end up with King Dedede?

Dark Nebula was sealed in the chest a very long time ago; before the Ancients fell, but not THAT long before. So, most of the relevant characters we're familiar with wouldn't have been around to do anything about it. (Hey, maybe Galacta Knight had a hand in sealing it! He'd probably just have killed it though, rather than containing it, so who knows, really.)

As for how the chest ended up in Dedede's possession, Popstar used to be a minor trade hub on the outer reaches of the Halcandran empire, long before Dream Land existed in the form we know it today. The Ancients did lots of things there, such as bringing a Dimension Mirror for faster travel and building the Fountain of Dreams to maintain local spacetime stability (long story).

Even though Popstar was still a relatively minor point on the map for them, it was prized both for its location on the outer edges of the empire as well as its pleasant, semi-tropical climate, perfect for a relaxing vacation! Species indigenous to Popstar still existed, of course, but they did not have power over their planet at this time.

Long story short, Dark Nebula's chest was probably being transported somewhere, and was meant to be briefly held on Popstar before continuing on to whatever its intended destination was -- perhaps to some hub of Jambandran culture out there in the stars, to study and learn from it. Then, the Ancients' empire met catastrophe, and some things just got forgotten about.

MANY years later, when Dedede proclaimed himself king, he also more or less forcefully claimed a lot of the leftover treasures lying around, both from the time of the Ancients' occupation and even older. Dedede had NO idea what was in that chest, but kept it around to make himself look richer. The only reason Meta Knight had an inkling as to chest's contents is because he's a history buff who had previously read about the sealing of Dark Nebula and recognized the chest from its description.

Just some Ancient. Not anybody we're familiar with. Most likely a human (for Dreaming reasons), but probably not related to Adeleine.

Tangentially, I do think that Vividria came from a sort of "sequel" painting to the original two, however, explaining why she seems so solidly like a younger sister to them. Artists often create "series" in their art, so it doesn't seem all that far-fetched to me.

I don't know whether or not they intended for the paintings to come to life, though. That may have been a skill the artist didn't know they had.

Same as in canon, I think? Lots of weird things happen in Another Dimension; it's got the fun combo of being ridiculously high in magical energy while also being super unstable in terms of spacetime. So, strange unexplained things can happen.

Apparently, one of the strange unexplained side effects of Another Dimension's weirdness is the creation of Parallel counterparts for different characters. Pretty sure that's just actual canon, if I remember correctly.

This does mean I lump Parallel Susie from the Clash games under the same umbrella as the Parallel bosses from Star Allies, like Parallel Kracko and Meta Knight, rather than with similarly black-and-red counterparts from the Mirror Dimension. Having the same prefix as the Star Allies bosses just feels too major to ignore.

I think also that this means that the Parallel counterparts were just created on the spot, unlike the Mirror counterparts -- i.e., the Parallel counterparts didn't live their own full lives before we fight them.

Dark Mind is the fusion between Mirror Nightmare and Mirror Zero. On their own, both of them filled very similar roles to their regular counterparts -- Mirror Zero was a Dark Matter queen who subjugated countless planets to live in darkness, and Mirror Nightmare was a galactic salesman who sold or rented mercenaries and monsters to whatever warlord paid him the most.

Also like regular Nightmare and Meta Knight, Mirror Nightmare had a hand in molding Dark Meta Knight into the form we know him as now. Unlike their regular counterparts, though, Mirror Nightmare and Dark Meta Knight were closer, and had a SLIGHTLY more healthy familial relationship.

Mirror Zero does not need monsters or mercenaries. He's got a practically infinite amount of Dark Matter drones under his command at any given time, so he has no need for hired help. In fact, Mirror Zero would have an easier time taking over planets if there was no hired help available -- if the planets he's conquering couldn't access legendary monsters to help defend themselves, that's just one less hurdle for Mirror Zero's forces in taking over.

Mirror Nightmare, like regular Nightmare, is something of a con artist at heart. He's willing to make a quick buck off of anybody he thinks he can trick into parting with their money, and he's made a lot of enemies this way.

At some point, Mirror Nightmare thought his next target to dupe would be Mirror Zero. Given what Mirror Zero would have to gain by removing Mirror Nightmare and his monster services from the equation altogether, this went about as well as you can imagine.

Dark Mind operates primarily as a hollow shell of what Mirror Nightmare once was, and his primary emotional outlet is wrath. The monster/mercenary service immediately falls apart without Mirror Nightmare's management, leaving Dark Meta Knight completely alone with an army of Dark Matter and Dark Mind breathing down his neck at every move.

I think it's really interesting to imagine a parallel between what Dark Meta Knight and Taranza both go through, despite Taranza hating all Mirror-worlders' guts. Both would have witnessed someone they spent much of their life with become corrupted, becoming a shell of themselves, their worst parts exaggerated and their violent ambitions amplified to the extreme.

Even still, they would continue to serve this corrupted figure, both out of the hope that their friend/mentor figure would somehow return, and for the fear of what this new threat might do to them if they defect. Of course, neither Taranza nor DMK ever acknowledge this parallel.

To be clear, though, neither Dark Mind nor Dark Meta Knight have anything directly to do with Sectonia's corruption; Taranza simply assumes that's the case. In actuality, it is Dark Taranza who caused Joronia to become Sectonia.

This is a real short one! The answer is YES, they are the same person.

Remember that post of Kirby game meets anime ideas? Well here comes the sequel!!! Ideas for Anime x Game Kirby crossovers 2!

1-the history is how grand doomer goes to the anime dimension after he’s defeat on Magolor’s hands in “Magolor’s epilogue”, and ends up trying to chase down Magolor when he jumps into the portal to the clash universe but since he’s too weak he falls unconscious mid travel and ends up in the anime dimension, he finds how this universe despise lacking strong sources of energy they still have artifacts strong Enough to give him power, specially from nightmare enterprises leftovers which he uses to power hes doomer army, he quickly goes to dreamland to get revenge on Kirby now that he has he’s power and army once again he goes on a full on attack on pop star. He absorbs Galaxia meanwhile the Doomers shatter the warp star to absorb its power, kirby tries to stop Grand doomer but the villain sends the puffball,tiff,tuff,meta knight,king dedede and escargoon into “another dimension” in which they are aided by not only the elemental bosses (Electriky Dooter, Fiery puffer and Hydriat) which now don’t work for grand doomer since he has lost the power of the master crown, but they also meet the parallels (Susie,meta knight,dedede,kracko,Landia and wispy) and now the heroes (and anime!dedede) aided by the three elemental monster have to collect the fragments of the apple which are being held hostage by the parallels (which are on a war for “another dimension” since the doomers left to conquer the anime dimension) and unlock their own elemental powers (tiff & tuff:fire/rock, meta knight:Ice/water and Dedede & Escargoon:thunder/air meanwhile Kirby learns to handle the super ability’s) after they get the apples they go back to dreamland and see how grand doomer has basically destroyed the entire place and turned dedede’s castle into he’s floating nest meanwhile the GSA has basically been running from the beings beyond their retconing, however now our heroes defeat all the Doomers and fix the Warp Star so they can get into dededes castle and Kirby can defeat Grand doomer once again. Now Kirby has learned to fight for himself, meta knight learns there’s much to learn from the universe, tiff and tuff now have magic and so does dedede and Escargoon which will try harder than ever to be a annoyance to Kirby even without nightmare

2-starts with galacta knight which was defeated by yet another Kirby and another meta knight of the multiverse, so he’s banished to yet another universe but this time he finds himself on the middle of a battle field with no pink puffball or blue knight anywhere. He sees knuckle joe being attacked by a bunch of monsters (including masher 2) and he easily kills the demon beasts with a single attack, he prepares to fight knuckle joe but the kid instead thanks him calls him star warrior, galacta knight is confused by this and sees how other knights appear, he prepares to fight but they call him “partner” which confuses him even more, galacta hasn’t been treated has a ally since he and he’s partners sealed void termina, he decides to tag along and sees he’s in a war once again and to the same guy he killed a week ago (a week for him since time stopped existing for him since dimensional travel also involves some time travel), the leaders of the GSA (whoever you use, Arthur or anyone else) then discover galacta isn’t a registered member and interrogate him, galacta think they are going to attack him so he prepares to kill then all but they instead offer him to join for he’s massive power, he accepts. Galacta quickly becomes a very beloved and well known warrior, he’s usually followed by knuckle joe which speaks to him while galacta constant duels with other Star warriors, everything is normal till joe mentions Kirby and meta knight, galacta quickly asks where is pop star and then he goes to beat the ever living Stars of the two. Meta knight is confused by who is this and why he’s attacking them but realizes this Kirby and meta knight are weak and can’t even face a 1% of he’s power like the other meta knights and Kirby’s, he decides to train Kirby to unlock the power he remembers, galacta quickly shows he’s not good at talking, or teaching or interacting which makes him have a bad relationship with everyone but Kirby which treats him like any Kirby would (with hugs and friendship) and knuckle joe (who constantly visits him) has time goes Galacta starts liking more this life still thinking he can get he’s old life style before he was betrayed, but this dream suddenly crashes when the GSA members are ordered to arrest him, he goes on a rampage thinking he was betrayed once again but kirby and knuckle joe get hurt making galacta even more furious and miserable, he flies to the edge of the galaxy and has nightmare enterprises attacks dreamland like in “fright to the finish” knuckle joe and Kirby decide to go for Galacta knight meanwhile Meta and the rest try to attack nightmare with the rest of the GSA but they are bombarded by A FAKE galacta knight which framed the real knight. Kirby and knuckle joe get to galacta which try’s to push them away using a small fraction of he’s power but the kids tell him despite everything they think he’s innocent and beg for he’s help, galacta decides to help and the three go to save the gang. Galacta sees he’s copy and has a small fight since he really wanted one but stops playing once he sees the kids are getting near nightmare, Galacta turns into Aeon hero Light and one shots he’s doppelgänger and goes to save the kids, tiff tells galacta he can’t kill eNeMe since he’s connected to Kirby’s dreams and they don’t know what will happen if nightmare dies while connected to kirby, so galacta rages because of this which causes a hole in the fabric of reality, kirby quickly defeats eNeMe on he’s dreams and wakes up which allowed Galacta to destroy nightmare with all of he’s power which let yet another hole in the fabric of reality, all of them escape while Galacta now with he’s name cleaned is treated has a hero once again, the story ends with him sleeping on a hill on dreamland with Kirby while several butterfly rest on them as well

3-Kirby is fighting a monster able to create portals which makes Kirby gets the Spark ability, the two fight but Kirby accidentally makes the monsters powers go south turning one of the portals into a kind of vacuum which absorbs tiff and tuff. The two end up in Halcandra, Tiff and tuff walk around trying to find anyone who could help them but tuff accidentally gets trapped into the main factory, Tiff goes to save him has the robots and various other hazards try to kill them, they survive and run into a elevator which brings them to the boss of the place “metal general” which isn’t holding he’s punches with this two and before the kids are killed by the robot, landia appears and calms the general telling them they are kids, the robot after noticing this goes back to sleep, tuff is amazed by the cool dragon while tuff is scared of the giant dragon, however landia is very kind has they separate in four and two of them invite tiff and tuff to ride them, the kids get on the dragons and fly to the top of Dangerous Dinner. Tuff talks about how cool this all is meanwhile Tiff is scared about this place, soon they arrive to landias lair, Tiff and Tuff rest for a bit while tiff try’s to talk with the dragon which seems to ignore her, the next morning they are guided to a star shaped portal which goes to popstar (results landia was hearing but just wanted to have some company that night), the kids and the dragon jump into the portal, the kids are now amazed by this fantastic place which seems so familiar yet so different, like a dream! They arrive to magolorland and are weird out by the several demon beasts acting like normal people, a younger looking wispy, a genie, a monkey, a puffer fish and a giant ship all around the park while thousands of waddle dees and other habitants of dreamland the kids have never seen wear masks of many strangers and some familiar faces, landia asks Magolor to call Kirby meanwhile the kids play the games with the other habitants of dreamland. When Kirby and the rest arrive there’s a small shock by the Friendly dedede,the waddle dee with a bandana on escargoon a place, meta knight wings and Kirby not knowing them (or actually everyone) Magolor and meta knight quickly figure out what’s happening and help the kids go back to their dimension, but not before one last game through all of Magolor land, Has they return to their dreamland they are welcomed by a kirby and parents that are almost in tears, a dedede with a black eye (Kirby’s doing) and a very surprised meta knight (not because they lived but for the giant flying ship and the dragon) after a small presentation of their alternates the heroes of dreamland, the dimensional magician and the ex-guardian of the master crown retire back to their world meanwhile the kids tell their parents about their adventure (note landia doesn’t talk but Magolor and Metal general can just speak dragon-ish)

The English mistranslations are also kinda jank for him apparently. Original JP says he's from Another Dimension but English says he's like a corrupted Meta with the Jamba Heart and it's like a relic of Meta's possession or something odd like that.

Apparently he's known as one of "The Otherworldly Four Kings," with his world's Kracko, Whispy, and Dedede, which is interesting. He's got interesting potential to play with from both the localization and original.

Parallel Woods - Horseman of Famine. A rotten, blighted arbor that rots and decays anything his roots can ensnare and his seeds can germinate in. He is a direct inversion of Whispy Woods, who always feeds any hungry mouths that gather under his leaves.

Parallel Kracko - Horseman of Pestilence. although Kracko is normally benevolent enough as a weather god that hydrates the greenery of Popstar, Another Dimension and the power of a Jamba Heart have corrupted him into a monstrous thunderstorm that personifies the destructive force of the sky itself.

Parallel Meta Knight - Horseman of Death. Parallel Meta Knight is characterized by Meta Knight taken to his furthest conclusion: A knight that lives only for the lust of battle, to cut down others for glory and adrenaline. He is so single-minded in this hunger for bloodshed that he neglects everything, even his own body, as he trains endlessly and cuts down foe after foe with his sword, Gravitas, not too unlike the scythe of the reaper itself.

Parallel King Dedede - Horseman of War. The otherwordly liege is known primarily for three things: his pride, his greed, and the incredible rage that abounds should one make the mistake of crossing either. Unlike the king of Dream Land, who's selfishness was overcome through friends and grew into a kindhearted and benevolent ruler, this king only worsened in his greed into a man who desires nothing less than the entire world in his wings, and will never stop until he gets what he desires.

What if a simple boss or forgotten villain ends up being actually important to the lore

What if Colly rattle is a actual god and he’s something like shen long or something

What if necrodeus name actually meant something and is revealed he’s the reason why morpho knight is forced to consume souls to make he’s knight form

What if phantom forgo Dedede just appears in forgotten land dlc being the main villain or something

What if dark nebula was actually a hard boss

What if yin yarn returns in a mainline game has a antagonist role with other villains or at least appears in a sequel to super Kirby clash (we already had dark taranza,king d-mind,parallel susie and the return of nightmare after almost two decades so this level of fan service wouldn’t be that big,I think)

What if dyna blade had actual lore relevance like the predator of colly rattle species or something

What if they actually went in deep with kracko and wispy almost godly omnipresence and inmortality

Kracko!

Oh Kracko you big ol’ cloud you. Kracko and Whispy are sort of a duo in the sense of how often the two of them reappear in each Kirby game. I think Whispy might have the edge on Kracko in that regard, but they’re certainly the two most iconic Kirby bosses. Well, that is to say bosses that are always bosses and not characters like King Dedede or Meta Knight whose roles change between games. Kracko is a cycloptic spiked cloud whose main methods of attack involve lightning in some way. Kracko is also probably the boss who summons enemies during it’s fights the most, whether it be Waddle Doos or Flamers or Starmen or Twisters or Co-Krackos or Chillys, Kracko seems to employ quite an army of funny little guys. Kracko also seems to have many more variations in comparison to Whispy, with Kracko Jr., Kracko’s Revenge, Kracko DX, Holo-Kracko, Mecha Kracko, Venom Kracko, Twin Kracko, Parallel Kracko, Space Kracko, and probably at least one other. Although Whispy has a whole family in Mass Attack which is worth mentioning. One fun piece of info about Kracko is that his sheer stubbornness and hatred for Kirby allows him to show up pretty much anywhere there’s a sky, whether that’s on Popstar, or another planet, or even in the Mirror World. So if Kracko materializes in your backyard anytime soon just know that Kirby is probably nearby. Also, in his appearances on the 3DS, as well as the recent spin-offs on the Switch, Kracko’s spikes are multicolored!
