I know that the name for this AU is Raven Empress AU, but it's because Lilith ended up as Empress. Not necessarily because I ship her with anyone, let alone Belos.

(To be clear, Lilith is Aroace in this AU. So I don't ship her with anyone in general, and she didn't marry anyone in this AU. Also I think that the basic premise is answered in the FAQ, but I'll post it here as well.)

~♡☆Basic Premise of this AU (without major spoilers)☆♡~

Belos dies several years before Luz steps foot on the Boiling Isles, and Lilith becomes Hunter’s Regent for the first 6 months of her reign, due to some extremely convoluted succession rules.

(To be clear, Lilith didn’t marry Belos. She just happened to be head of the Emperor’s Coven at the time of Belos’s death.)

I'm debating on whether the plushie eyes will be a soft fabric, or made of plastic. Either way, it's safe for a little Grimlet.

Other than that, these headcanons are basically canon to this AU.

Hunter sleeps holding his Sprig plushie, and he's done this since he was really little. Lilith gave it to him by putting it in the crib next to him, as a gift from one of his predecessors.

(In the Canon!Timeline, it was last seen at Gus's place. Locked in his toybox for safe keeping. Once it was found again, Hunter kept it on his bed. Occasionally bringing it with him to sleepovers.)

(I'm debating on whether it'll be too big for him to hold as a baby. But I'm imagining him as smaller than the plushie for scale. Also the eyes are soft, so it would be safe for an infant/toddler under 3.)

I just published Beginning of a New Diary of my story Ascension of a Raven Empress, which is a companion story to Diary of a Raven Empress. It does contain some spoilers for the Canon Timeline, but they're pretty minor. Along with mentions of a character death of a child (Tristan, he's referred to as Philip in this chapter btw. She doesn't know that he changed his name), and grief.

Wittober Day 3 - Hand-me-downs

Philip frowned deeply as Caleb helped him lace up his breeches for the first time.

“Why can't I keep on wearing skirts?”

“Because, Pip, skirts are for girls and babies. You are a big boy now. You have to wear breeches like Father and me.”

“But skirts are comfortable.” Philip whined, “these squeeze my legs all weird.”

“You'll get used to it.” Said Caleb.

“What if I have to use the chamber pot?”

“You pull the breeches down.”

“Everytime!?”

“Everytime.” Caleb confirmed.

Philip dramatically flopped face first onto the floor.

“Come on, Pip, you are five-years-old. Father wants you breeched before we set off to the New World.”

“I don't want to wear breeches and I don't want to go to the New World. I want to stay in England and wear my skirts.”

“Like a baby?”

“Yes.”

“Did you know, these used to be my breeches? So when you wear them, you are being just like me.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

Philip pushed himself up with his hands and tip toes, forming a triangle with his body and the ground. He looked through the gap in his legs and laughed.

“Hehe, I can see you, Caleb, you're upside down!” He did a sloppy somersault. Landing on his back. “I guess breeches aren't that bad.”

Holy feck that hurts. I hope that Flapjack is alive in this AU, but I'm not counting on it.

There's also a possibility that Belos asked Enzo* on how to extend Caleb's lifespan without the need to consume Palismen. If only because Belos would want to keep the Palismen to himself in this theoretical scenario.

Unless if Anon is correct, then Belos would share the Palismen to keep his older brother and himself alive. Well beyond either of their natural lifespans.

*= I call The Collector "Enzo Gabriel" for the sake of not confusing myself. Because whenever I see the words "The Collector", I think of the main antagonist from LBP1 and I honestly can't help it.

What if Belos has been forcing Caleb to consume Palismans in order to keep him alive?

What if the first one that he had to consume was none other than Flapjack?

Sorry for cramming my AU into literally everyone else’s but it was only a matter of time before I did @idoodlestuffsometimes’s Brothers Keeper AU because… come on

End ID] Cain deals 50+ psychic damage to any Caleb or Philip variant within a 50 meter radius, although I think this particular Caleb is extra susceptible. It’s a good thing this will never happen because I don’t think he’d be able to handle it, poor guy.

Belos actually thinks that Luz's name is Luzura Noceda, he just thinks that Luz is a nickname. Luz finds this uncomfortable, because the Emperor of the Boiling Isles is using the name of one of her sonas.
