Headcanon:

Odalia made Amity wear a concealment stone to cover her abuse scars because they represented Amity’s failures which were unbecoming of a Blight.

Belos refused to let Hunter wear a concealment stone because he wanted folks to see what would happen if you crossed him.

Both Odalia and Belos felt Amity and Hunter deserved every punishment they got. However, the evidence of those punishments that manifested physically was used psychologically against Amity and Hunter in very different ways but ultimately ensured that both remained compliant.

We’ve heard scary and intimidating beta Luz. A Luz that has been hardened by the world and has lost her sense of humor and dreams. But let me propose - levity Luz. Where Luz doesn’t find the portal until much later. Not until after the bullying doesn’t stop, and the distance between herself and her mom grows, and everyone around her has beaten her interests and confidence down until she has nothing left. A world where Luz goes deeper into herself, using humor to shield herself and refusing to let anyone break down her walls. A Luz that has all those magical desires, but they’re buried so deep inside they’ve almost been lost.

I 100% believe that if The Owl House was not a children's show on Disney poor Hunter would have a worser life than the one he was given. Like.. Noble House of Black bad. (I love making things more sad than they first were) (also in the middle of rewatching TOH because I have absolutely nothing to do and things are beginning to spiral)

Hunter sleeps holding his Sprig plushie, and he's done this since he was really little. Lilith gave it to him by putting it in the crib next to him, as a gift from one of his predecessors.

(In the Canon!Timeline, it was last seen at Gus's place. Locked in his toybox for safe keeping. Once it was found again, Hunter kept it on his bed. Occasionally bringing it with him to sleepovers.)

(I'm debating on whether it'll be too big for him to hold as a baby. But I'm imagining him as smaller than the plushie for scale. Also the eyes are soft, so it would be safe for an infant/toddler under 3.)

Hunter and Alador from toh are 100% furries

Hunter’s fursona would be a blond furred wolf jay hybrid with the beak, wings/forearms and tail feathers of a jay and then the rest would be a wolf

Alador’s would be an emo cat with bright neon green wolf cut hair with an invader Zim shirt and like a Minecraft creeper hat and those striped leggings

The Classification of Demons

The thousands of demons that rose from the Titan’s corpse have always varied wildly, and no two demons are alike. So, the three B’s were written to help demon biologists categorize recognizable demons by certain traits. Magic, body parts, DNA components, and behaviors all split demons into the categories of biped, beast, and bug. Some demons don’t fit into one category and are classified as more than one.

Biped demons are the most similar to witches, and are actually an ancestor, and the reason witches have magic. They can have many varying traits, but what puts them in the biped category is their ability to walk on two feet and use magic.

Bug demons can’t use circle magic, but their latent power can manifest in other ways. Pixie dust is a known example and can be used for various potions to activate other ingredients. Bug demons typically have insectoid body parts and lay eggs.

Beast demons are the various creatures that prowl the Boiling Isles. Some do have magic, but they are unintelligent creatures and don’t have the capacity to use it, and instead it fuels their body and some functions. Beast demon hunting is a profession on the Boiling Isles and high prices can be put up for certain demon parts, which have many uses in potioneering, cooking, and other things.

Witches are a unique category, not quite a demon or something else. Like biped demons, witches have a bile sac that is attached to their heart, which produces compounds that mix in their blood to let them use magic. Many witches have demonic traits, but they are set apart with their human skin tones, less intense demonic features, as well as small hearts and large bile sacs, unlike those of biped demons which are much smaller in comparison, and attached to a bigger heart.

Fuck you my hc is that Flapjack is a part of Hunter now so only Hunter can see and hear him, but Flapjack is still very much around, and sitting on Hunter's shoulder 90% of the time

Bonus: Hunter can simply summon Flapjack by summoning his staff from his chest and use it like usual, bc they are simply one entity now

And this would actually make sense bc I believe palistrom wood is one of the materials needed to make a Grimwalker

So, I'm writing something that includes all of the hexside squad and focusing on each of their trauma individually, and I want some advice when it comes to certain characters:

I'm having trouble with Amity and Gus. I would be able to ramble about these characters endlessly, I'm just not confident about writing them in the same way that I am about Luz, Willow, and Hunter.

So, what are your interpretations? Feel free to rant because I want to be able to portray them accurately.

I am open to input for the other characters too, those are just the two I have the least personal experience with

My Titan power headcanons

[btw most of these headcanon names are based on this theory post about the 4 Collectors. Pls read it, it's very good]

since it's been confirmed that there are multiple Collectors, what are y'alls headcanon names for each of them?

I know some people call baby Collector 'Colly', but maybe we could come up with more appropriate names for them?

I thought of 'Proxima', named after the red dwarf star that is closest to the sun. Red dwarf stars are also the smallest and coolest stars, representing how little Collector is the smallest one, and is likely the least temperamental compared to the other four Collectors.

Proxima also works since the Collector with the yellow star (which can be interpreted as a 'sun') is the one with their arm outstretched to the baby Collector, representing how close the two possibly were. (also if we name them Proxima their nickname can be 'Proxy' which is funny if u know creepypasta)

I also thought of 'Tauri', named after the T Tauri star, which is the youngest red dwarf star ever recorded. Again, representing how baby Collector is the youngest of the 5.

For the 'Moon Collector', I thought of naming them 'Leda', after the smallest moon of Jupiter, considering how they're the second youngest of the Collectors. I couldn't find what the second smallest moon of Jupiter was, so if someone knows please let me know because that will be my official hc name for them.

For the 'Yellow Star' or 'Sun Collector', I've named them 'Polaris', after the biggest star in the Ursa Minor constellation. I mostly chose this name because it sounded nice.

A more lore-related name could be 'Centaurus', after the constellation that holds the biggest yellow hypergiant star ever found. The ACTUAL yellow hypergiant is stupidly named 'HR 5171' instead of something cool, so bear with me here. I'm gonna go with 'Centaurus', since this constellation is the same one where 'Proxima Centauri' is located, and this goes well with the yellow star Collector being closest to the baby Collector.

The 'Planet Collector's' name is pretty obvious, I'd either name them Saturn or Jupiter. I imagine them being the more 'protective' or the 'guardian' of the group, so I prefer the name Jupiter here.

Finally, for the 'Red Star' Collector, I'd name them 'Betelgeuse', after the Betelgeuse star. It is a red supergiant and one of the largest visible to the naked eye. This name is absolutely perfect, especially if we believe that the Red Star Collector is the eldest of the 5.

So Proxima, Leda, Centaurus, Jupiter and Betelgeuse, the 5 Collectors who wiped Titans from existence. Hope y'all enjoyed the name headcanons, and please please please tell me yours! I'd love to know!

How do you think is the social media presence of toh characters? I just feel that luz spends too many hours on youtube lol (I would like veterans too!)

Oh Luz has an online presence. She watched youtube for hours upon hours just of funny cat videos when she was little. She taught King how to navigate social media. She has a penstagram that is dedicated to talking about Azura, lore, and her fanfiction. She is a popular ao3 writer and interacts with her fans.

Amity has a large following from school and her previous status. She probably thinks way too long about what she is going to post. She likes to post pictures of Ghost and her gf. When she was younger, she probably researched study methods online.

King literally watches anything and everything. A meme connoisseur.

Willow posts plants, flyer derby matches, and projects! I think she'd have a decently sized following. She would watch different types of game plays.

Gus makes videos on his interests. There are not a lot of views but he is very enthusiastic about it.

Hunter has no idea how the internet works but he is trying. He probably watched memes for eight hours the first time he figured out how videos work. After that he probably used it reasonably.

I could definitely see Eda having thirst traps. She knows she is hot. And she isn't afraid to show it. She also flirts with Raine in the comments of every post they make.

Raine posts about their music and sometimes dates with Eda. They have a large following and fans.

What if the petrified Golden Guard's statue wasn't immediately destroyed but instead placed somewhere in the palace, or in a marketplace somewhere. As a memorial, as an honour, as a reminder of the deeds the Golden Guards have committed for the Empire. Imagine Hunter regularly passing by the statue, using it as a reminder of the shoes he has to fill, wanting to make his predecessors, his family, proud. How kind, how generous of Belos to have put up a statue to remember the legacy of the Golden Guards. Sometimes Hunter leaves with the fleeting thought that the statue is a bit small, almost life-sized. Until one day, after everything, he passes by that statue again. Oh.

Belos actually thinks that Luz's name is Luzura Noceda, he just thinks that Luz is a nickname. Luz finds this uncomfortable, because the Emperor of the Boiling Isles is using the name of one of her sonas.
