Sleeping Beauty was never one of my favorite Disney Princesses as a kid. My reasons were simply that I didn’t like how little screentime she had (being asleep most of the time) and her dress was really uncomfortable 😂😝 But Aurora has certainly grown on me since then ☺️

Ethel Leach (American, 1878 – 1959) - Miss Philora

Described as the “dean of Delaware painters,” Ethel Leach was a founding member of the Rehoboth Art League, the center of the artist colony in Southern Delaware. Leach was a life-long resident of Frederica, Delaware, which she depicted often in her work. She studied illustration with Howard Pyle (1853–1911) and at the Académie Moderne in Paris, and kept a cottage at Rehoboth Beach with her husband, fellow painter William Leach. There they painted pictures for tourists and local patrons, depicting the pine forest, dunes, shipwrecks, and Henlopen Lighthouse. (source)

Philip see Aurora put his coat and hat on her pet owl again to prepare to be him and Philip can only giggle at the funny scene.

3. Two panels of Queen Aurora. In the first, Count Alain’s arm is handing her a necklace made of iron, while she grimaces and says “Haahahaaaa... awesome...” In the second panel, she is tossing the necklace into a fire. It says BURN

4. Two panels of Maleficent and Diaval in human form at the festival. In the first, Diaval is holding a mug of a foamy beverage. He says, “WHOA. Mistress, you tried this stuff?” She says, “No thanks.” In the second panel, Maleficent is looking disturbed down at Diaval who is off panel. Diaval says, “You’re so pretty.” Maleficent replies, “How many did you have.” Diaval replies, “One?” An artist’s note indicates that this second panel did not happen, but it would have been funny.

5. Two types of couples. One half shows Maleficent and Diaval on their feet and bickering. On the other, Aurora has Phillip’s head gently pillowed on her lap. Phillip is bleeding from his side. Aurora says, “I love you.” Phillip pauses for a long time and then says, “I didn’t think I was dying that much.”

6. Diaval in human form is holding a mouse in his hands and staring at it with wide eyes. Phillip, who is still lying in Aurora’s lap, shouts, “Diaval. Hey! Give me the mouse.” Diaval says “Whaaat, you think I’d eat him?” Phillip replies, “Yes.”

Congratulations on having your first child! What are you doing to prepare for the new Prince or Princess?

I've been doing my best to survive these days! As well as staying close to Aurora. There's no possible way I would be able to live with myself if the two of us were separated once more. Honestly, though, I've been trying to prepare myself as best as I can, while cleaning up the castle to make sure it's safe for our family. I think it's safe to say I don't have the utmost solid grasp on how to raise a child, but I think together, we'll make it happen. And of course, our baby will have the best life a little one could ever have - even if solely because it'll have the best mother in all the lands.

I'm seeing a lot of posts about Philip and Aurora the last few days so I'm guessing you like that ship but... Thoughts on that ship?

For sure! Thanks for asking! I didn’t even realise how many Philora posts I had queued! My otp for both of them is actually Warrior Royals! I would post just as much Sleeping Warrior and Mulan x Phillip if I could find it. I just love every element of this three-way relationship!

I think Mulan and Aurora have such beautiful development and I adore what their relationship blossomed into! Mulan sacrifices her own happiness to ensure Aurora’s. She would do anything to protect Aurora and Aurora grew to be just as protective of Mulan. The way they look at each other when Mulan gives Aurora back her heart! And the way Mulan strokes Aurora’s forehead when she’s sleeping! I die!

I’ve always interpreted the relationship between Mulan and Phillip as something that unwittingly developed into more than a friendship. I would have loved to have seen even more of that backstory because I am almost convinced he was saying “I love you” to Mulan or both of them before the wraith got him.

Phillip and Aurora have true love! From the little we saw of them together they seemed like a really cute couple. They supported one another, made sacrifices and you can tell they’d do anything to ensure one another’s protection, as I believe is true for Mulan too. I was obsessed with Disney’s Sleeping Beauty as a kid, so Phillip x Aurora means a great deal to me. I love them a lot! They’re adorable! But my otp is definitely Warrior Royals. I can’t help feeling like they’re a family. And I wish we’d gotten more of all three of them together. I would have loved for them to have all raiseD Phillip Jr. together in Storybrooke and heck! I’m gonna headcannon that they did!
