confidence: having confidence plays a huge role in this, if you have the confidence it wouldn't matter what other people think because you already have this idea in your mind that you are who you are.
mindset: a majority of the time, people that make fun of others are struggling with personal problems and insecurities, therefore they will push all of their unhappiness onto you.
get out of your head: people are going to judge you. that’s life. But it’s also important to remember that people are judging you nowhere near as much as your head would lead you to believe. but why worry about what you can’t control anyway? It’s how YOU feel about your choices that is important, so concentrate on making them the very best that they can be, for your own happiness.
surround yourself with good people: it's so much easier to be yourself around people who inspire and uplift you rather than spending time with negative people who suck the energy out of everything you do/want to do.
learn the appreciate the individuality of others: try to accept and encourage others in their own uniqueness. avoid gossiping, thinking negatively about those you don’t understand – and most importantly of all, avoid being quick to judge.

today, social media has become an integral part of our lives. however, it's important to take breaks from social media to prioritize our mental well-being. here are some steps to have an effective social media detox:

ask yourself why you want to have a social media detox. this could be to reduce stress, gain confidence, increase productivity, etc...
BOUNDARIES
decide on the duration and extent of your detox. you can choose to deactivate your accounts (temporarily) or limit usage to specific times of the day.
UNFOLLOW AND MUTE
unfollow accounts that don't bring you joy or contribute positively to your life. mute notifications to minimize distractions.
FIND ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES
replace the time you would spend on social media with other activities you enjoy such as, drawing, reading, or spending time with loved ones. if you don't have any hobbies that you know you enjoy, try picking up new ones.
SELF REFLECTION
use the time away from social media to reflect of your values, goals, and aspirations. focus on self care and personal growth.

how to make a self care routine ✧.*
figure out what healthy habits you enjoy doing...cooking, cleaning, reading, etc...
put a whole day aside dedicated for self care.
don't make it like any other day- try to have a different routine than your everyday routine. maybe use a face mask on your self care days or trim your nails. just do something so you actually feel like you're actually having a self care day.
do what works best for you. to have a self care day you don't need to have a thousand dollar routine. if you prefer to have a short sweet and simple self care routine then that what works for you, everyone is different.
read about self care methods- if you don't have much knowledge on this I recommend looking at self care books to find out what works for you
don't compare- never compare your self care routine to someone else.

SKINCARE
having a good skincare routine is so essential (to me ). having a good skincare routine helps you get used to having a routine which can help do all sorts of things like waking up early or going to school...and a little bonus, it makes your skin look glowy, smooth, and well managed!
JOURNAL
journaling is another good thing to do. journaling can help you strengthen your memory, reduce stress/anxiety, learn to cope, track growth and progress, and improve your writing and communication skills.
SAY NO
now I don't mean say no to every single thing but make sure you say no if you feel you should...for example, let's say there is a group of kids that go to your school and they ask if you want to go to a party with them and your really don't want to but you say yes anyways so you don't get left out. DON'T DO THAT
POSITIVE THINKING
thinking positive helps you in the long run. if you wake up and speak down on yourself everyday you won't benefit from that, while waking up and speaking positive really does help. if you think about it saying bad things like "I can't do it" or "I look so bad in this" will only lead you to believe you do. so, instead say "I can do this" or "I look so beautiful in this" you will then believe you do.
MEDITATION
meditation can help us take a step back and think in the moment. this exercise is a good way reduce negative emotions as well as improve your attention span.

it's come to my attention that lots of people think being productive is the same as being busy it's not. so i'm here to help. to start off here are the differences, being busy is something to past time, while being productive is doing stuff you can benefit from and actually getting stuff done.

BEING BUSY
like I said, being busy is more like a time passer. for example- going to re organize your hairbrushes even though you just did it yesterday because you're board is being busy not productive
BEING PRODUCTIVE
on the other hand, being productive is fueled by purpose, for example- cleaning your room after you've been meaning to do it is being productive because it is fueling a purpose.
HOW TO BE PRODUCTIVE
now to be productive you need to have a purpose for doing things and the purpose cannot be to cure your boredom. productive activities can be taking a walk, cleaning something you've been meaning to clean, or making a to do list.
now that you know the difference between being productive and busy, go be productive and not busy!
