HOW TO STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS
We're human, so comparing ourselves to other people is just common nature for us. But, comparing ourselves every single day about every single thing can become unhealthy, not only for your physical health, but for your mental health as well.

PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Start by writing down things that you are grateful for in your life. Even if you feel like you don't have anything you're grateful for, you definitely do. It could be anything, your dog, a certain food, etc etc.
CONTENTMENT
Gratitude leads to contentment, which allows you to be in a state of joy and satisfaction no matter what your circumstances. You’re happy with where you are in life and aren’t worried about what other people are doing.
That doesn’t mean you don’t have goals for the future or that you aren’t working toward being a better person tomorrow than you are today. And it definitely doesn’t mean that you’re stagnant or that you’re choosing to sit around and do nothing new, exciting and challenging with your life. It just means that you develop a peace about your life and a sincere enjoyment about what you have today without basing all your happiness on what you hope to achieve tomorrow.
SOCIAL MEDIA IS FAKE
I'm pretty sure you've been told this so many times but it's so true! These people you are seeing in pictures with a bunch of friends and going places all the time isn't their whole life. Just highlighted reel of their life, so being jealous or upset that you're not living like that isn't worth it.
FOCUS ON YOUR STRENGTHS
You aren't self absorbed for recognizing your talents and strengths. You don’t have to beat yourself up to be humble. In fact, that’s a pretty unhealthy approach, and it’s one of the biggest dangers of comparison living. The more we compare ourselves to others, the worse we feel about ourselves.
CELEBRATE OTHERS
Constantly comparing ourselves to others leads to us not cheering on the people who are working hard to get somewhere. And it makes it hard to celebrate with the ones who’ve accomplished something! Don't feel like you're loosing just because some else is winning.
BE YOUR OWN BIGGEST COMPETITOR
Instead of focusing on where you are compared to others, focus on your own goals. Where are you compared to where you were at this time last year? Or five years ago? In the past year, you’ve learned, stretched, improved, accomplished and created. Think about how much of that you’ve done in your lifetime!

🧸Hiii Teddies! Happy late Thanksgiving! I’m sorry I have not posted for weeks. I have things to deal with in my personal life so I didn't have time to post for you guys, forgive me!♡😭𓂃°。⋆˚
I've been focusing on creating my routine for every week and just planning things in my life in general. So, I thought I could share my night-time skincare routine with yall! DISCLAIMER: Like what I said in my last post, everyone has a different skin type!!! So that means depending on your skin type you'll have a different way of doing your skincare. I have not developed my skin type yet so I just do the basics in skincare so I can tame my acne.

♡₊˚ 🦢・₊✧ My Nighttime Skincare Routine (in details)✧₊・🦢˚₊ ♡ -Wash your face with WARM WATER (this is important because warm water allows your pores to open and allows you to clean your face properly while cold water closes your pores) -If you have makeup on take it off with a cleanser and wash your face with warm water again -Cleanser I do this daily, morning & night (if your next step is to use a scrub then wash your face with warm water if you aren't, wash your face with cold water) -Face Mask I do this 2 times a week, Monday & Friday, at night -Ice Roller I do this daily, morning & night -Toner I do this 2 times a week, Monday and Friday, in the morning & night -Face Mist I do this daily, morning & night -Acne Treatment I do this daily, at night -Serum I do this daily, morning & night -Face Oil I do this daily, at night -Moisturizer I do this daily, in the morning & night

the powerful switches was changing my life and identity. if I can do it, so can you. you can do this over night if you commit to it.

who are u? who do you want to be? how does the new you act? do they study and learn new things?
EXAMPLE’S:
• you went from smoker to non smoker
•not healthy to healthy
•not clean to a clean minimalist
changing your identity is also so simple if you can do this continuously
•do it consciously. it works much better doing it intentionally
•think about who you want to be. do you wanna write every morning. eat 3 healthy meals a day.
•appreciate your self. you made so much progress to change and won’t celebrate that(weird) so focus on your process
•think about what new you would say. old you is negative so think positive, take the negative out your life.

Intro-
Hey everyone my name is Brittnay & I'm here to start my weight loss journey & hopefully help my girlies along the way. I'll be posting everyday some of my workout routines & meal plans along with my progress. I just wanted to tell you all that I know this can be so hard & overwhelming but I'm here for you & I'm gonna show you how to put in the work to make it easier. I'm not saying everyday will be great but you'll be happy with the end results. Progress isn't linear & takes time. This isn't my first time losing weight but I am the biggest I've ever been. I just had a baby & heart transplant. It took so much out of me & I got lazy.
As a wife & mom of three I know it's so hard to find the time to get anything done. My girls who get it, get it. My girls who don't, don't. We aren't going to be going to the gym we're gonna be doing everything from home & minimal equipment. We're gonna eat clean. Were gonna get a minimum of 7 hours sleep. We're gonna drink more water. & if you choose to I'll be intermittint fasting as well.

It's very easy to enter a depressive state nowadays, especially with all of the things that are going on right now. We can still do things to acknowledge what is going on without having a dark mindset.

ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR FEELINGS
this is the first and arguably most crucial step. It's important to allow yourself to feel what you're feeling. Do not attempt to suppress your emotions or berate yourself for feeling a certain way. Instead, acknowledge these feelings as a natural reaction to something upsetting.
PRACTICE MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness is the ability to stay fully engaged in the present moment. This practice can help you avoid dwelling excessively on things that upset you. Try to focus on your breath, the sensation of the air around you, or the sounds you hear. This can provide a much needed break from the cycle of negative thoughts.
DON'T OVER CONSUME
Over consuming negative media can be another way we can put pressure on our mind. The more negative media we consume the more negative thoughts we have. Blocking certain tags on social sites can be a great way to eliminate negative media in your life. Recognizing these things going on in the world is great, but throwing yourself into all of it isn't.
FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE
When something upsetting occurs, it's easy to get lost in a sea of negativity. However, try to shift your focus to something positive in your life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. This could be anything from a recent accomplishment to the love and support of your friends and family. Remembering what you're grateful for can help improve your mood.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR PHYSICAL HEALTH
Physical health has a profound impact on mental well-being. Regular exercise can help boost your mood and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. It doesn't have to be anything intense, a simple walk or a few stretches can make a world of difference. In addition to exercise, make sure you're getting enough sleep and eating a balanced diet. These steps will ensure your body is well-equipped to handle emotional distress.

"life doesnt get better, you just get stronger" does NOT include ages 11-17. life does in fact just get better from there. those years are dogshit. like, you do get stronger but its mostly just a factor of not being 11-17 anymore. positive thinking helps but it doesnt fix whatevers going on at 15, you have to brute force through that one raw
