Happy [Incredibly late] Valentines Day !!! Decided to do a trio of illustrations as I’ve done in previous years of diff forms of love!! Its only 3 but heres the list:

Sundew & Willow -> Romantic Love [They’re a classic! First queer POV’s and impactful ones for me!! They’re sweet together <3]

Qibli & Ostrich -> Familial Love [they are Cousins to me!!! Adopted family who are very protective of each other]

Turtle & Peril -> Platonic Love [Their friendship is so nice to me!! I don’t ship them at all - the heart motif is just used to symbolize love!!!! Also Turtles scales are canonically “as strong as diamonds” so him & Peril can make physical contact without Turtle getting burnt lmao]

One of my favorite things about Valentine’s Day is platonic valentines. Love love love asking my friends to be my valentine and doing silly stuff with them. Love getting to buy little gifts for them like chocolate or smth and just getting to spend time with them. Fun times. Idk why it makes me so happy on this specific day (like I love doing this on a normal day ofc) but it feels so much more fun to participate in what is usually romantic in a platonic way.

Fluffy Haikyuu/KageHina Valentines FanFic Idea even though its not even January at the time of writing this. Can be Platonic or Romantic, I just had the idea randomly while making Christmas Candy earlier this week.

Yachi and Kiyoko make plans to make valentines chocolates for the other VB managers. Hinata over hears and asks of he and Natsu can join them because Natsu makes chocolates for her classmates every year and Hinata, who has always helped her, thinks it would be fun with more people. So there's their weekend plans + cute friendship bonding.

Hinata makes some for the VB team, Natsu, his mom, Kenma, and even Yachi and Kiyoko, all as friendship chocolates of course. For the most part, they're perfectly normal chocolates, with bon bons molded into small volleyballs and melting chocolates molded into corresponding numbers to their jerseys, and maybe a few stars dusted with edible gold shimmer dust.

The one exception? Hinata made a life sized Volleyball chocolate, painted with food coloring and filled with yogurt candies for Kageyama. How did Hinata sculpt a Volleyball out of chocolate? Nobody freaking knows, not even Yachi and Kiyoko who were there to witness it. It's Hinata okay, nobody know how or why he does anything but it's cool as heck.

Kageyama has mixed feelings about the whole thing. Is it a friendship chocolate? Romantic chocolate? Kageyama doesn't know but he sure as heck sees it as a competition, and plans to get revenge come white day![of course, its Kageyama and anything not Volleyball related escapes him, but as Hinata stares at the deflated, way too sticky, Marshmallow blob that's supposed to be a Volleyball, he feels oddly touched]

Johannes St. Lendzell / Ly — Purported victim of demonic possession. Cried and clawed at walls often. Friend of Valentin. Dead.

Pia St. Ørjan — A woman who believes she’s made of glass. Approach with caution.

Jin ij Phanom Sieng — Valentin’s younger brother. Merchant. Rebel fugitive and woefully bitter about it.

Father Paavali — The Maker’s Sanctuary Monk #1. Cruel, contemptuous, and violent.

It's the time to celebrate love in whatever form it might appear. Weather romantic, platonic, familial etc. I hope everyone have been living today to the fullest. :D
