Hi, I've been reading your comic. And I think you should use keyboard to write and be little modern like make connection with season 4 not go back to season 2. maybe It'll attract more audiunce. So I'm gonna treat this like a proper critique and respond like what I was trained to do;

It becomes no longer an opinion when the intention of this message is to start all over and do whatever x comic is doing. And the reason is...to get more of an audience?

Comics and art are unique to that artists own interpretation, the three examples you showed demonstrate that (two romance genres with different and wonderful stories, and a AU where Wukong has to figure out how to cover for a stone MK). I'm not gonna lie, this ask kinda fucked with me while paneling chapter 3 because already it's getting seen as "not a proper comic" /neg. It's just weird how you only read two pages of the story, and then pose that the story would be better in season 4.

When in season 2 was about collecting relics to power up lady bone demon's "destiny". Because my whole message in Young Bones is kindness is a virtue.

So if anything, thanks, I'll work on my penmanship better. 🙃

(Also please check out @swagginmun for their amazing comic as well! Because swags' paneling and color language are majority my inspiration to handwrite in the first place. Wish's comic inspired much of the humor and drama with backgrounds and the tone and Lumi's comic, just, her lines in her comic everything is just so crisp and really charming as for character relationships and build up, oh and Ghosthost has that inspiration for me to add in that element of unexpectedness, the thrill the action the horror! 🝮 In general Gun doesn’t reach out to people very much. He shows up at your house and work/school unannounced more often than not.

🝮 BUT, for the sake of you not overworking yourself, he’ll tell you to sit down for a minute. He’ll initiate texts and calls. You always heed his warnings.

🝮 “How’d today go?” He asks, rubbing his thumbs into your shoulder tissues. He looks down at you mildly.

🝮 “Fine,” you reply, shooting him a quick smile before focusing on whatever you were doing.

🝮 He leans over into the crook of your neck, brushing his lips behind your ear. “Any more incidents…?”

🝮 You reach your free arm up around his head and run your fingers through his hair. “Nope. I was fine babe,” you smile.

🝮 Gun tries to dodge your gaze when he smiles, but he fails. You catch his lips softly curving upward. He’s glad.

🝮 You just felt like there was so much to do… and your body couldn’t keep up with the workload.

🝮 You were lucky, actually, that Vasco was swinging by. This had happened before, so he was aware of your bad habits… or whatever you’d like to call them.

🝮 He watches you bustle back and forth, carry a couple boxes, run your hands through your hair and wipe your sweaty hands on your shirt.

🝮 He furrows his brows, clutching the takeout he brought you close to himself.

🝮 “(Y/N)… is this not a good time?” He asks, eyes wide and innocent.

🝮 Your vision starts to cross a little, and you press your hand to your temple. “Uh… no- Euntae-”

🝮 Your body starts falling… and his body just reacts-!

🝮 Vasco cradles your head, as he usually does. His eyes are even wider now as he scoops you into a bridal carry.

🝮 You blink up at him. You feel your legs trembling from exhaustion. You really did outdo yourself.

🝮 Vasco places you down and runs around blindly to get you water. He hasn’t quite established a system with you… and checking in isn’t as easy anymore. His phone skills are a little—

🝮 He cups the back of your head and holds the cup of water to your lips, brows drawn together in concentration. Your hand reaches up and grabs the cup for yourself.

🝮 He kneels by your side for half an hour, asking how you’re feeling and if he can help you.

🝮 The takeout he ordered didn’t spill… so you’re able to eat that.

🝮 You explain to him your habits of overworking yourself again. He seems to understand for the moment. He tells you seriously that you need to “take care of your body. Or else you’ll fall and I won’t catch you.”

🝮 Whenever this does happen, he waits. He only leaves if you ask him for something. Hands will rest gently (and shyly) on your lap. Eyes will remain glued to you.

🝮 He hates seeing you overwork yourself. Bbb wants you to take care 🥺

Nathan Prescott, a name you're very familiar of when you moved to Arcadia Bay and went to the Blackwell Academy. Your first encounter wasn't pleasant at all, you doubt anyone has a good first impression of him.

Your eyes glued to your phone screen as you were reading one of your favorite comics, when suddenly you've bumped into someone's chest, knocking you down. "Watch where you're fucking going!" A masculine voice yelling at you.

You immediately turn to them and apologize, "I'm so sorry! I will next time." You looked up and you realized that you had bumped into the worst person you could've ever bump into.

"What-the-fuck-ever..." he said, glaring down at you and walk away. Students around you look at the commotion. You grab your phone and dust yourself off; you checked your phone and realized the screen is cracked. You groan, already fed up with the day and just want it to end.

You quickly went to your class.

It was humiliating. It didn't help that Victoria Chase was teasing and making fun of you afterwards. Nathan joins in when he's there but Victoria talks the most shit.

As much as you want to counter them, you don't want to make them angry, especially Nathan. So, you just take the heat and hope your lack of reaction will bore them and move on to other targets.

From the gloomy afternoon, you knew that it will rain for a while. Luckily the day is Saturday, no school and just chill in your dorm. Your stomach decided wanting to eat something and just in case, you grab your umbrella and went to Two Whales diner.

You sat down at your usual booth, and Joyce took your order, as soon as you finish ordering, the rain started to pour. You enjoy your meal while listening to the pouring rain.

You open your umbrella and left the diner. You don't have a car, and you don't really want to wait for the bus and so, you decided to walk back to the dormitory.

You arrived at the parking lot, as you were walking at the sidewalk, you saw what seems to be a male student standing under the tree without an umbrella. The rain started to get very heavy; you quickly walk towards him and you soon realized that it was Nathan.

You stop in your tracks and just stare at him. This was very different from the usual Nathan Prescott. He seems more calm and relax looking up at the rain, at this moment, he looks human. Not that spoiled rich kid and have no feelings that everyone makes it out to be. Honestly, if he was more cool and collected, you would admire him from afar.

It seems like he hasn't noticed you yet, you continue to walk towards him and covers him with the umbrella.

Nathan jumped at the sudden cover. He looks down and saw you holding up your umbrella, albeit, struggling a bit because he is taller than you.

"What the fuck do you want?" The calmness before was immediately change to anger. You were so confused at his outburst; you're aware of his temper and such but you don't understand what he meant.

"What do you mean? You're out here in the rain, I saw you and I just want to help you." You said truthfully, still holding the umbrella but he pushes you away. "Quit your bullshit, is this your little act to make me stop making fun of you? Or do you want something else?"

"No! Prescott, I just want to help you. I don't want anything in return." You get close to him a little bit. He rolls his eyes at you, not believing you.

"Everyone around me is just using me when they need it. People acting nice to me because I got the drugs they want and you think, I'm gonna believe you?" You felt bad when you hear that. It seems like you caught him at his worst.

You didn't know any of that, you thought he was some spoiled rich kid that pays people to like him and didn't even mind it. You sighed and once again, covers him with the umbrella.

"I don't want anything from you. I don't want drugs or money. I just want to help you get back to your dormitory. That's it." You try again, you don't even know why you bother to convince him. You should've just given up after he pushes you away.

He looks...conflicted before quickly grabbing the umbrella from your hand. "What-the-fuck-ever..." he said and started to walk towards the boys dormitory.

You quickly follow him, not wanting to get wet. You realized that the umbrella was a bit small; you kinda have to get close to Nathan.

Nathan shifted uncomfortably, you quickly apologize and try to give him some space between you two. You never were this close to Nathan in any way, the first encounter with him should make you scare to get any closer to him and yet here you are, walking beside him in the rain while he’s holding the umbrella that’s too small to fit both of you.

You can feel your cheeks heating up from the thought, Nathan suddenly pull you and broke your train of thoughts. You look up at him in confusion and look at the front, realizing you both arrived at the boys’ dormitory. “We’re here already, unless you also want to walk me to my room, no need.” Nathan said and gives back your umbrella.

You watch him walk towards the door. He waits for a bit to turn around and look back at you but before you wave goodbye to him, he cuts you off. “Don’t tell anyone about this.” and walks inside.

You sighed and went back to the girls’ dormitory while thinking about what just happened.

anyways, i'm literally still in a writing slump i'm only trying to get out of it so i did something lmao so apologies for the mistakes so yeah def not a good one ksdjjfkskd

when it’s too late, that’s the only time when regret steps in the picture, and it never leaves. it will continue to prey on your mind regardless of how much you try to brush it aside. the what ifs, the could’ve beens, the things you should’ve done and said, you will only realize all of them when you’re already incapable of doing anything —when you already lost something you could only wish you treasured more and clung onto tighter. 

you stand in front of the baji household, your finger hovering over the doorbell. the last time you saw baji was a week ago, so you decided to drop by his house to personally bring him his quiz results as well as the gift you bought for him. yesterday was his birthday, and you made a promise to him.

before, you only admired baji keisuke from afar, and you never wished for anything more than that. baji has always been one of your inspirations, the muse of all the arts and writings you create. until, baji approached you one day, asking you if you can help him with his studies after class. even if baji doesn’t have any idea, he’s a great help to you, so you took the opportunity to return the favor.

everything took a hard turn from there. from no one, you’ve become a significant existence in baji’s life. never once did you imagine yourself being close friends with baji, but he is a boy full of surprises, after all. there’s never a dull moment when you’re with him, and the more you spend time with baji, the more your admiration blooms into something deeper; and you began to think that maybe nothing’s wrong with wanting more. 

"how can i help you?" a woman, most likely in her early 40s, wearing all black, steps out of the house. "are you... looking for someone?"

"ah yes, ma'am," you say with a bow. you figured that she's baji's mother, he’s exactly the male version of her, but she doesn't have the same fangs as her son. "i'm looking for keisuke. is he home?"

"kei... keisuke?"

"yes, ma'am. if he's not home, it’s okay. i will wait for him to attend school again! thank you!” 

“no, no! come inside!” she rushes to open the gate before you could make a single step, making her stumble. ma’am, please be careful! you yell out of surprise. “sorry. didn’t mean to make you worried...”

after ushering you to the living room, she goes straight to the kitchen. it’s so quiet, you would think you’re in the wrong house if it weren’t for the childhood photos of baji displayed in one corner. baji described his mom as someone very similar to him, he probably inherited the energy and the blithe personality from her. aside from that, baji also said their house is always so lively in spite of only two people residing in it. 

yet, the house is far from lively, and his mother is the complete opposite of him. different flower arrangements are placed on the table where baji’s photos are, but you shrug it off — try to. the uneasiness that’s been gnawing at your heart grows bigger and bigger, it’s giving you a hard time to breathe. 

there’s no way...

“here, sorry to keep you waiting, dear,” baji’s mother arrives, putting down the snacks in front of you. “help yourself.”

“thank you so much, ma’am.”

“why are you.... why are you looking for keisuke?”

“it’s because i brought his quiz results, and the present i bought for him,” you rummage through your bag to get baji’s papers. “here! you can take a look. he did well with the quizzes.”

she takes the papers in your hands, and you didn’t say anything about the way her hands tremble while doing so. “this is really keisuke’s quizzes?” she asks after checking it one by one.

“yes, ma’am. uhm, actually, i help him study after class.”

“this must be the reason why keisuke studied really hard last week.”

“he did?”

“yes.” they say that eyes don’t lie; she’s smiling but agony swims in her eyes. “he didn’t even want to be disturbed because he said it’s very important.”

“oh. his effort paid off then!”

“yours, too, dear.” confused as she hands you back the papers, you look at her. “you were the one who helped him.”

“and i...” your eyes shift to the framed photos of baji. “i will continue helping him with his studies. ma’am! you don’t have to worry.”

“i guess your homeroom teacher hasn’t said anything to your class yet.”

your heartbeat suddenly goes erratic as she gently holds your hand; and you wish your heartbeat was more blaring, enough to prevail over the silence that was carried by the next words she uttered. 

“keisuke... he died four days ago.”

“... excuse me?”

“i’m so sorry, dear...”

after that, you don’t remember a thing anymore aside from the both of you crying in each other’s arms. you have yet to accept the truth, but you don't know how when you can't even wrap your head around it. everything happened so fast, it only felt like yesterday when you promised baji a date, and now he's gone and will never come back.

you look down at the papers you are holding as tears start to flood your vision, recalling baji's mom telling you he studied hard for them. 16/20, 19/25, 23/30, 20/30, 20/25. you grip the paper harshly, now wet with your tears. baji always only aims for a passing score, it's very unlikely of him to get scores like these, and yet he did just because you made a promise to him, a promise that will never come to fruition— a promise he held so dear until his last breath.

god, the things you would do just to fulfill that promise.

"hey! let's go on a date!

"now?"

"yeah, now!"

"no, i don't want to."

"why not?"

"let's do it like this, baji. if you pass all the quizzes next week, i'll go on a date with you."

"how many mistakes?"

"ten mistakes max."

"that's a promise?"

"yeah, pinky promise!"

"okay. i'll swear i'll ace those fucking quizzes and then take you on a date a day after my birthday."

"surprise me then, baji."

if only you had known then that it's going to be the last time you will ever get to spend time with baji, you wouldn't have made that promise and would've accepted his offer on the spot instead. that day, you could've told baji everything you want to tell him — that you've always liked him, that you're thankful for his presence alone, that you want to be with him. you could've made baji happy one last time.

but like what they say, regret always comes last and regret never leaves.

We’d run out to Farm Boy in the morning for the usual weekly haul of fresh groceries and honestly, the Keto Krackerz because they are the schiznizzle! Farm Boy, if you’re reading this, please make these in larger bulk batches! I buy 3 every time! Linner was steak and runny eggs with a side of asparagus. This is the perfect breakfast-y combo and I love it so much! Dinner was a steak with a good pat of the Garlic and Parsley compound butter. I love this butter so much! If you haven’t tried steaks in the air fryer yet, DO IT! It’s one of the best ways to cook them! Chocolate teats from NoSugar and Zevia are favourites!
