Tumblr media
👑Check out my masterlist to see all of my pick-a-card readings😊
✨ Visit my shops at Ko-fi.com or J.Goddess Tarot✨
🔮Disclaimer: This reading is for entertainment purposes only. Tarot readings are based upon my intuitive interpretation of the cards and about possibilities based on your current energy. Energy is forever changing and nothing is set in stone. Always remember, you have your own free will to make whatever decision you feel is best.
🔮How I read: I use a mix of tarot cards, oracle cards, along with my intuitive abilities of claircognizance, clairaudience, and clairsentience.
🔮How this works: Close your eyes and take deep breaths, pick the pile you are most drawn to. If you aren’t drawn to any pile then that’s okay, these messages aren’t for you.
Pile 1
Tumblr media
Tarot Cards: 8 of Wands, Ace of Cups, 4 of Swords, The Moon, Death
Greetings my Pile 1's! Your reading begins with the 8 of Wands, a card that signifies rapid movement and progress. This suggests that your future spouse finds your energy and zest for life incredibly attractive. They're drawn to how you seize the moment, meet challenges head-on, and how you always appear to be on the move, mastering the art of balancing many tasks simultaneously.
Next, comes the Ace of Cups, a card of new emotional beginnings, love, and happiness. This card hints that there's a deep emotional connection that your future spouse finds irresistible about you. Your ability to openly express your feelings and share your emotional depth is something that they truly value. It's your emotional intelligence and capacity for empathy that they find sexy.
We then move on to the 4 of Swords, a card of resting and rejuvenation. This suggests your future spouse admires your ability to switch off, to take time to recharge and rejuvenate. They love that you understand the importance of mental rest and self-care. Your zen-like calmness in a world of constant hustle is what they find very appealing.
The Moon, a card of intuition, dreams, and the subconscious, comes next. This indicates that your future spouse is captivated by your mysterious and intuitive nature. They find your innate ability to understand things that are not immediately obvious, your dreaminess, and your deep connection with your subconscious incredibly sexy.
Finally, we have Death, a card that signifies transformation and change. Fear not, for this does not predict a literal end. Instead, it points towards your ability to let go, to change, and to evolve. Your future spouse finds your resilience, your ability to transform and come out stronger after every setback, very attractive.
In conclusion, my Pile 1's, your future spouse finds your energy, emotional intelligence, calm composure, intuitive abilities, and your capacity for transformation incredibly sexy. Remember, these qualities make you unique and beautiful in your own way. Cherish them and let them shine!

In a key scene in Red Dragon, an FBI agent tells a group of police officers that there is no doubt that the family serial killer will strike again. “Why?” one woman asks him. “Because it makes him God,” intones the agent. Just days after Red Dragon opened, the police found the Death card from a Tarot deck near the scene of one of the shootings. Inscribed on the card was a message from the shooter. It was reported in the media as reading: “Dear Policeman, I am God.”
Such grandiose allusions to divinity have long been a crucial part of the serial killer myth. They proliferate as well in technological, especially nuclear, mystique and metaphor, most famously when the erudite J. Robert Oppenheimer, “father” of the atomic bomb, named the bomb test site “Trinity” and then, while witnessing the first atomic blast, recited the god Krishna’s words from the sacred Hindu text, the Bhagavad-Gita: “I am become Death, the shatterer of worlds.”
More mundane occasions for such utterances occur regularly in popular playtimes. In the media storm that followed the discovery of the inscribed Tarot card in the Beltway case, the public learned that “I am God” is a common declaration by victorious players of violent video games. We were reminded that Eric Harris, one of the two teenaged boys who committed mass murder at Columbine High School in April 1999, was an avid video game player and had scribbled, “I am God” in another student’s yearbook.
The popularity of this phrase in all of these contexts points to a pervasive, if usually unexamined, recognition that violence, control, total power over others, and specifically masculine lethal violence or the power of “unnatural death,” all have a religious character in our culture. Despite much talk of God being “love” and associated with creation, the phrase “I am God” is not uttered in delivery rooms by mothers, or by those getting the news that they have received the Nobel Peace Prize. The dominant notion of god in the Abrahamic patriarchal religions is an all-male being whose defining characteristics seem to be omnipotence, jealousy, righteousness, judgment, and dominance. This notion of god powers all sorts of terrorism: religious, political, criminal, familial, militarist, nuclear, and any combination of these as power-mad men take up that mythic role, “playing god” by waging war, accumulating fortunes, toying with others’ lives, and lording it over everybody else.

The High Priestess ARCANI MAGGIORI – La Papessa by Malleus The second card of “Arcani Maggiori”, third print of the project dedicated to the Major Arcana, is La Papessa, the High Priestess: she who knows, but who only partially reveals her knowledge. This card represents the power of intuition and occult knowledge. Her power comes from the Moon and Water, her wisdom allows her to see hidden things and foresee the future. The cloak she wears symbolizes knowledge, while the two columns on her sides, as well as the number 2 of the card, represent duality (life and death, good and evil). The two letters B-J, present in the classic “Rider Waite” tarots, are the initials of Boaz and Jakin, the two columns of Solomon’s temple: they symbolize strength and justice, principles of wisdom. The crescent moon is femininity, clairvoyance, intuition. It is also a religious symbol, often associated with the Virgin Mary, the Great Mother or the Egyptian goddess Isis

Elder Futhark Runes: How to Read Runes for Divination
Tumblr media
Some folks prefer Tarot. Some prefer Oracle. If you feel a connection to the Norse or Germanic tribes of the past, maybe it’s time you learn how to read the runes for divination purposes. Here we’ll dive into the Norse rune system: how to read runes plus the elder futhark runes meanings.
Ancient Origins of the Elder Futhark Runes
The Elder Futhark runes are an early writing system developed by the ancient Norse and Germanic tribes of Northern Europe. The Elder futhark system’s purpose was threefold: as an alphabet system, as representative of mundane issues of hearth and home, but perhaps more importantly the runes had (and have) sacred spiritual significance. There are preserved rune etchings dating to 2800 BC, Bronze Age Sweden. A few of the earliest rune markings include Ing(waz), Sowilo and Hagalaz among others not of the traditional Elder futhark. By the Medieval and Viking Age, newer rune systems were used everywhere from Norway to England by Scandinavian peoples, as well as the Anglo-Saxon.
The Elder Futhark Runes as a Divination Tool
We’ve mentioned the runes were used for various purposes, one being spiritual in significance. Spiritual leaders of a tribe, patriarchs and seers etched runes into stone and wood as a means of magically protecting, blessing, healing or cursing. Each rune held a sacred power and was therefore used as such. Volvas, or female seers, were known to cast runestones or staves onto water or earth and read the messages from the gods. It was common practice to consult the runes before battles and voyages. The practice of reading runes for divination purposes continued well into the Middle Ages, has survived despite religious and political agendas and is alive and well today. To read more about the history of the runes, click here.
Elder Futhark Runes Meanings
The Elder Futhark rune system is the “original” system, so to speak, and consists of 24 symbols total. Depending on the rune set you purchase, you may see variations in certain runic symbols. For instance, Ing may sometimes be Ingwaz and instead of being a simple diamond shape, may include “arms” reaching above and “legs” below it. Also remember, each rune has a “mundane” meaning that may also apply to its divinatory significance, but inevitably YOU determine the true message behind each. You’ll also find the longer you read the runes, the more complex they become. And the more personality they reveal to you. The wisdom of the runes is a deep, endless well.
For all intents and purposes, we provide the basic Elder futhark runes meanings here for you. Then we’ll discuss how to read runes for divination purposes below.
Tumblr media
Fehu: Cattle, Finances, Abundance (F)
Uruz: Aurochs (Extinct Oxen), Strength, Overcoming Obstacles (U)
Thurisaz: Hammer of Thor, Thorn, Thunder God, Protection (Th)
Ansuz: Odin, Voice of God, Universal Voice (A)
Raido: Ride (Riding), Journey, Wheel of the Wagon (R)
Kenaz: Torch, Inner Fire, Creativity (K)
Gebo: Gift, Joy in Union, Marriage, Blessing (G)
Wunjo: Personal Joy, Self Fulfillment, Career Success, Tribal Banner (W)
Hagalaz: Hail or Ice Seed, Abrupt Change that Brings Transformation (H)
Naudiz: Need, Fulfilling One’s Own Needs (N)
Isa: Ice, Pause, Rest and Regeneration (I)
Jera: the Harvest, Earthly Results of Labor (J)
Eiwaz: Yew Tree (Of Life and Death), Wisdom, Pillar (E, Eh, Ey)
Perthro: Gambling Cup, “Roll of the Dice”, Luck (P)
Algiz: Elk Horn or Eel Grass, Overcoming Obstacles, Resolution (Z)
Sowilo: the Sun, Sun Wheel, Health, Vitality, Opportunity (S)
Tiwaz: Tyr, Justice, Truth (T)
Berkano: Birch Tree, Mother Goddess, Renewal, Motherhood (B)
Ehwaz: Horse, Partnership/Joint Ventures, Trust (Eh)
Mannaz: Mankind, Humanity, Awareness, Collective Conscious (M)
Laguz: Lake, Water, the Sea, Flow (L)
Ing (Ingwaz): Fertility, Fertility God, Virility, Sex Magic, Love (-Ing)
Othala: Inheritance, Home and Hearth, Stability, Ancestors (O)
Dagaz: Dawn, Day, New Opportunity (D)
If you purchase a set of runestones or staves, there will sometimes be a blank stone/stave. This is called “wyrd” and in it’s simplest explanation means “fate”. It’s up to you to interpret this blank stone or to leave it up to the gods.
How to Read Runes for Divination Purposes: How to Cast and Interpret
As you learn how to read the runes for divination purposes, you’ll develop your own style. There’s truly a limitless number of ways to cast and interpret the Elder Futhark. Traditionally one is to cast runes on a white rune cloth; however, I don’t use a rune cloth at all. Instead I cast my runes on a wooden table or directly onto the ground. It’s ultimately up to you! Some volvas and Norse seers even cast their staves on water.
Simple Rune Reading: Pick a Rune
The simplest way to draw a rune is by pulling one out of the bag and reading it. You can ask a question beforehand OR allow the runes to speak for themselves. For example, if you pull Ansuz (as shown below), you might interpret this as an encouraging message from Odin. Or maybe he’s telling you to speak up for yourself in a tough situation, etc.
Tumblr media
The “Cast 3 Runes” Reading Method
A more traditional version of casting and reading runes would be to pull three from your bag, then cast them onto your cloth or preferred surface. Again, you may have a question in mind or simply allow the runes to speak. Sometimes they’ll all fall facing up, sometimes they’ll all fall facing down or another variation. You might interpret the runes that fall facing up as the more pressing matters and the ones face down as not so pressing. Alternatively, runes facing up are positive outcomes and runes facing down are setbacks. This takes time and practice and you may switch your preference based on the reading or question at hand.
In addition, you may wish to read the direction of the runes as significant. For example, if Berkano falls face up pointing to the North, this might be a message from the Mother Goddess to focus your attention on family matters. Isa facing east might mean to cease communication with a disgruntled employee. Othala in the North means financial stability and happiness is around the corner. You get the point.
More Complicated Rune Readings
My suggestion is to start off learning how to read the runes with one rune at a time. Then try the 3 rune casting method. Once you have a good understanding of the Elder futhark runes meanings, you can move to more complicated readings with 5, 7, or 9 runes or more.
Be Patient and Submerge Yourself in the Runes
Before I ever learned how to read the runes as divination, I submerged myself in the history and lore of the Elder futhark. Each rune seems to have its own consciousness, it’s own soul. And each rune has a sacred message for each of us that changes depending on the person and situation. We should allow the runes to speak to us before imprinting our own meanings on them. Be patient when learning the runes. Take your time and truly allow each symbol to become a part of you.

I feel like Pope Johanna will be a Phantom fusion between Johanna and Goddess Anat (a reference from Persona 5)
You grossly overestimate the influence of Persona 5. What WOULD make sense though would be if she was a high phantom servant or simply had two companions, fusing Pope Joan with named the pillars of Solomon's temple Boaz and Jachin, which is why the High Priestess tarot card (which is connected to Joan) has the letters "J" and "B" on it.
Or if they aren't cowards they can do what I'd do, and have her wield the two pillars as weapons like a godly combination of Martha(Tarasque), Nightingale(BED), and Mercanary Tao

Tumblr media
Left-to-Right: Pile 1, Pile 2, Pile 3
👑Check out my masterlist to see all of my pick-a-card readings😊
🔮How this works: Close your eyes and take deep breaths, pick the pile you are most drawn to. If you aren’t drawn to any pile then that’s okay, these messages aren’t for you at this time.

Now, let's talk about building a strong future. You both will be practical and focus on financial security. You might love planning your dream house, working on DIY projects, or exploring nature. These activities will be like the bricks and mortar, building a solid base for your love.
Finally, imagine taking some quiet time for self-reflection. You'll both enjoy time to think and grow. This could be trying out meditation, yoga, or volunteering for a good cause. These contemplative moments will be like a refreshing break from your hectic lives.
To wrap it up, my Pile 1's, your shared hobbies will be the threads writing your love story. They'll range from the mysterious to the nostalgic, the practical to the reflective. Together, you'll build a life filled with deep connections and thrilling adventures. These shared interests are the special bond that will make your journey together stand out and memorable.
Pile 2
Tumblr media
Tarot Cards: 2 of Cups, Ace of Wands, King of Cups, 4 of Pentacles, 5 of Wands
Hi there, my Pile 2's, let's chat about the hobbies you and your future spouse will love doing together. These shared interests will be the magic that keeps your bond strong. First, imagine a deep emotional and between you both. It's like you both understand each other's emotions perfectly. In terms of hobbies, this means you'll find joy in activities that bring you both closer emotionally. Think sweet dinner dates, heart-to-heart talks, or just enjoying quiet moments together. These will be the special moments that keep your relationship strong.
Next, picture a burst of creativity in your life. This creative spark will lead you to fun adventures and new hobbies. Your future spouse will bring new exciting energy into your life, and you'll both love trying new things together. It could be volunteering together, doing charity work, or even caring for animals. Your shared compassion will make your relationship even stronger.
Now, think of moments of peace and comfort. These will be the stable moments in your relationship. It's not all about excitement all the time; you'll also appreciate quieter moments together. You might love spending cozy nights at home, gardening, or cooking delicious meals together. These simple moments will be your safe haven, giving you a sense of security.
Finally, a bit of healthy competition comes into play. This suggests you'll love activities that involve a bit of friendly rivalry. It could be playing sports, board games, or even challenging each other intellectually. It might get competitive, but it's all just for fun and to keep the relationship exciting.
In the end, your shared interests will be the threads that write your love story. They include emotional connections, adventures, compassion, stability, and a bit of playful competition. Embrace these interests as the things that will bring you closer, create lasting memories, and make your journey together even more exciting. Your relationship promises a beautiful mix of intimacy, adventure, empathy, comfort, and fun. These shared interests are the glue that will keep your bond strong and your love story captivating.

TOG Gods cards pt 1.
[ID: Two pictures of watercolor paintings. They are styled after tarot cards, including a golden border, with a thinner, colored inner border, and then a drawing inside. Each drawing is an original design of a god or goddess as mentioned in the Throne of Glass book series by Sarah J. Maas. Each one is associated with a color, which matches the inner border and also appears in swirls and patterns showing through their skin.]

Silba, the Goddess of Healing and Gentle Deaths.
[Image 1: A goddess associated with the color lavender. She sits in a chair in a round room (The Torre) which has brown walls and a window that sheds light on her. She wears a light purple wrap dress and has golden brown skin and hair, which is swept into a low bun. In one hand is a carafe of water, and the other wears Athril’s golden ring. Behind her is a light purple curtain and a line of silver bells. In the window is a barn owl.]

Neith, Goddess of Archery
[Image 2: A goddess associated with dark blue, standing with her body at an angle and holding a white bow and arrow. Behind her are the streets of Antica at night, with the Torre visible. BOHEMIANESS: Oracle Deck Review: The Mythical Creatures Oracle
I initially saw this deck on Aeclectic, and was fascinated enough to find out that the author was D. J. Conway (Celtic Dragon Tarot), with art by Lisa Hunt in her wonderful style. I went to U.S. Games (the manufacturer) to examine more, and as an indication from the Goddess that I should have this deck, Lo and Behold, it was on sale for a really good rate! The 06 Ideas
Good additionals include a shiny layout sheet with ingenious tarot spreads: Changes is a 5 card design to assist deal with change and change, and there's also a 5 card layout for present life obstacles. 2 other extremely intriguing ones are the Pyramid, which claims to show previous, present, and future lives (or the past, present, and future in this life), and the Decision layout, consisting of 3 rows of 3 cards each, which show ultimately what could happen due to the actions we handle the cards (Isn't that what Tarot Reading is everything about?).
These can be available in handy before you become familiar with the deck. Although I would classify this as a Rider-Waite style deck, this one is much less threatening. The developers have no reversed meanings, and for each card there is a "magickal use," which includes some kind of meditation, or perhaps a spell associated to the meaning of the card, meant to heal the pain of the querent.

Building a Magical Home
Tumblr media
One of my favorite quotes about the magic of homemaking comes from Cory Hutcheson, host of the New World Witchery podcast. He says, “Home is a transformational act. It is the thing you do to turn a space into a space… that is full of ritual and significance and meaning. So there is sort of this ongoing relationship you have with the space that makes it a home.”
The act of creating a home, of making a space your own, is inherently magical. But if you want to make your space feel a little more witchy, here are some ideas to get you started.
Charms and Talismans
Making your own magical objects can be a powerful way to bring magic into your space. The best thing about making your own charms is that you can make them look however you want, so it’s easy to disguise them as ordinary household objects. You can make a charm for any intention by combining objects based on their magical correspondences.
I’ve talked about protective charms in previous posts, so I’m not gonna spend a lot of time on it here. The simplest protective charm is keeping a large piece of iron under your bed to keep away nightmares, evil spirits, and negative energy. You could also make your own protection charm, like a witch bottle.
You can create a “happy home” charm to bring peace, harmony, and happiness into your home. This charm could include herbs like basil, rosemary, lavender, peppermint, and/or bay leaves, as well as other items that you associate with peace and good fortune, like lucky coins, crystals, or black cat fur. Write your desires for a harmonious and happy home on a piece of paper, fold it up, and add it to the charm. You could store these items in a green bag, bury them in your backyard (in this case, make sure you’re only using biodegradable plant matter — leave out the coins and crystals), or place it inside a household object like a lamp or an end table.
If you suffer from insomnia or other sleep issues, try making a dream charm to help you sleep well and have sweet dreams. To make a simple dream charm, fill a blue or purple bag with lavender, chamomile, peppermint, and any other objects that you associate with peace, restfulness, and sleep. If you want to have lucid dreams or receive psychic messages in your dreams, include a bit of mugwort. Place the charm in your pillow or under your mattress. (I personally swear by this one, as it’s helped a lot with my insomnia.)
Charms are great for homemaking magic because you’re actually creating a magical object, which can then become a permanent fixture of the space.
Magical Decor
You can use magical items to decorate your home to bring certain qualities into that space.
Hanging or displaying a broom is said to bring good fortune, protection from evil, and good hospitality. Cauldrons are used to represent the Goddess, rebirth, and raw potential. Horseshoes hung above door frames bring safety and luck to all who cross under them, and keep unwanted guests away. If you can get them legally and ethically, animal bones, teeth, claws, and feathers can represent the spirit and energy of that animal. You can also put up images of spiritual and occult symbols — I have an image of the Sun tarot card hanging in my bedroom to promote positivity and growth.
If you need to be a little more subtle with your witchy decorations, working with the magic of color is a great way to do that. Gathering a lot of items of a single color in one room changes the energy of that room. Here’s a quick guide to give you some ideas:
Yellow is associated with divination, mental clarity, the element of air, success, communication, and inspiration.
Purple is associated with divine power, spiritual awareness, mystery, astral travel, magic, and authority.
Blue is associated with healing, psychic abilities, the element of water, peace, truth, and patience.
Red is associated with protection, the fire element, sex, power, vitality, and love.
Orange is associated with ambition, creativity, breaking through blockages, and career success.
Pink is associated with romantic love, friendship, self love, compassion, and emotional well-being.
Green is associated with nature, herbalism, the earth element, money, wealth, prosperity, and luck.
Brown is associated with grounding, animal magic, stability, and balance.
White is associated with purification, cleansing, the full moon, new beginnings, healing, and spiritual growth.
Black is associated with protection, truth, outer space, banishing, and transition.
Decorating your home with colors that are meaningful to you can create a powerful magical space. You may also have your own color associations (for example, yellow is a very “happy” color for me), so feel free to incorporate those into your decor as well!

Growing Magical Houseplants
Most witches feel a very deep connection to nature and draw power from the natural world, but we can’t all live in a cottage in the heart of the forest. Even if you live in a tiny apartment in the city, you can still bring nature into your space by keeping houseplants. Many popular houseplants have magical uses, and many popular magic herbs can be grown inside. Here are a few to get you started.
Aloe. This is one of my favorite plants. Aloe brings luck and protection, especially protection on an energetic/spiritual level. I like to keep aloe in my bedroom to protect me while I sleep, as well as to bring luck and inspiration while I’m working at my desk.
Basil. Basil is very popular in money spells, and will attract prosperity and luck to your home. However, it also has protective properties — both spiritual protection and protection from bugs, since basil is a natural insect repellent! Basil can also be used in love spells, and is just generally a good plant to have around for good vibes.
African Violet. This flowering plant attracts positive spiritual energy into your space. It has associations with the moon and the water element, and is very good for promoting spirituality and psychic power.
Rosemary. Rosemary is one of those herbs that every witch should have on hand. It’s so darn versatile, it can be used as a substitute for virtually any other herb, and can be used for almost any intention. Some of the most common magical associations for rosemary include: cleansing, purification, protection, healing, mental activity, and enhancing memory. According to author Deborah J. Martin, there’s an old English saying that, “Where rosemary grows, the woman rules the house.” Like basil, rosemary is a natural insect repellent.
Lavender. Lavender brings peace, love, and gentleness, which makes it a perfect addition to any home. It can be used in spells for cleansing and purification, enhancing psychic abilities, and stress relief. Lavender is also a powerful addition to love spells. Keeping lavender in the bedroom can aid in restful sleep, while lavender in the kitchen will bring harmony to the home.
Sage. Sage is the most talked about cleansing herb, and with good reason. Unfortunately, a lot of the sage bundles you can buy at metaphysical stores are made with white sage (Salvia apiana), which is sacred to Native American peoples and is endangered due to overharvesting. Instead of buying those, why not grow your own garden sage (Salvia officinalis), which has a lot of the same magical properties? Growing sage in your home will purify the space and protect those who live there. Sage also has an association with wisdom and mental prowess.
Hoya. Hoya is a common houseplant that you’ve probably seen even if you don’t know it by name. It has a distinctive appearance with waxy, dark green leaves and clusters of white, star-shaped flowers. Hoya aligns and balances the energy centers within your body, as well as in the surrounding space. It’s associated both with grounding and with spiritual openness, so it can be great for balancing the two.
Peppermint. Peppermint has a variety of magical uses, but my favorite way to use it is for gently opening up blockages and getting things moving. It’s great for cleansing, but is more gentle than rosemary or sage. Place it in any room where you tend to do a lot of healing work, or where you could use some peace and love. Peppermint is also used in dream magic, so growing it in the bedroom may bring on vivid or lucid dreams.
Orchid. Orchids are used in magic for love and lust. Historically, orchid has been used in folk medicine to promote male virility and “Jezebel root,” used in American folk magic to attract wealthy male lovers, is a type of orchid root. If you live with a significant other, try growing an orchid in the bedroom to promote passion in your sex life. Otherwise, grow orchids in your home to promote love or to attract romance.
Catnip. If you have cats, they’ll love this one. Catnip is actually a type of mint, and has strong lunar associations. It’s said to make one more charming and attractive, and is especially useful for attracting women. At the same time, catnip promotes courage and fierceness. It is also, of course, associated with cats and feline deities, so this is definitely a plant you’ll want to keep around if the cat is one of your animal guides.
If you have a yard space that you can turn into an outdoor garden, your magical plant options are limited only by your local ecosystem. Some outdoor plants that have magical uses include roses, sunflowers, rue, lemon balm, and strawberries.
Creating an Altar
Altars are focal points of magical and spiritual energy. Many people, both witches and non-witches, find that having a designated space for their spiritual practice creates a deeper sense of sacredness and purpose.
An altar can serve lots of different purposes. Many witches use their altar as a magical work space to prepare spells, meditate, and do divination. You may choose to dedicate your altar to a deity, your ancestors, or some other spirit(s) you work with. You can also build altars for specific intentions, such as a money altar or a love altar — performing rituals at this altar everyday is a powerful method for manifestation. You altar may be some or all of these things, or it may just be a place to sit and connect with the spiritual.
You can set up an altar on any flat surface, like a shelf or table, or inside a container like a jewelry box. Your setup can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. An altar can be huge and complex, with statues and candles and flowers, or it can be as simple as a tealight and an incense burner. It’s all about what appeals to you.
