I'm on season 6 of buffy and buffy's having all these money problems but i'm just wondering why can't the council pay her?
like we know the council gets paid and obviously has a lot of money for all the training they do and more, why can't they pay the slayer? It's she who does all the work!

Okay this one is bothering me tho.
The visual storytelling of this scene implies that Striker gets scarred in this eye.

Yet as he thrashes around in pain there is no fire near his face in either side.

And then he shows up to the trial with a scar on the other eye?

WoF ages: I had an idea.
What if the tribes age differently? Here’s my two cents:
MudWings start to grow the fastest physically, but mentally, they stay kids the longest, not being fully able to speak until about two. They become adults at about eight or nine.
SeaWings are one of the smaller tribes and stop growing at around six or seven, but they are able to speak aquatic from about three months and are basically fluent in dragon at age one. They are adults, mentally, at age seven.
RainWings are highly intelligent, able to speak at only a few months and mature at about age five. This is because the rainforest is dangerous, so it’s best to be cautious and calm, something that young dragonets can’t really do.
NightWings grow slowly, but continue to grow steadily after their slowdown point, which is about eight. They are able to speak at around one year, and are adults at around nine, mentally.
SandWings grow very slowly, like Sunny, and are not physically mature until about ten. Mentally, they mature at about six.
IceWings learn to speak at about two, and grow swiftly, not quite as swiftly as MudWings though. They mature mentally at about eight.
SkyWings mature physically at around seven, same with mental maturing, and learn to speak at around one year.
I’ll do Pantalan tribes later

You know, something that's been bothering me about TotK, why hasn't the verbal language changed at all in the 10s of thousands of years between the founding of Hyrule and present day. Like we know from the flower islands that the writing from back then is illegible to everyone except scholars who've studied this (which makes sense). But Zelda is able to talk with Rauru and Sonia with no issues immediately.
The language should have changed to be unrecognizable with that much time! And it's not just Zelda, all of the sages can communicate with their decedents with no issue. Link can understand all of the memories perfectly. Link and ghost Rauru, who's been trapped with no access to the outside world can communicate flawlessly, as can Gandorf and Link (and the sages), and Mineru and Link (and Zelda and the sages).
And if the translation of the flower island notes is anything to go by, syntax has actually changed, but it's more like the difference between middle/early modern English and modern English than the difference between a modern language and a language that's so old it predates all of human civilization several times over.
There is no scholar or anyone else alive today who could go back 5,000 years and speak the language. Even the 5-6 thousand year old languages we have translated have no connected to modern day languages, and we don't actually know how to pronounce them. The reason so many Egyptian names have 'e' as the vowel is because we don't know the actual vowels.

Hi I'm wondering if you know how old was Genjutsu Hozuki was when he died and when he died I think he died before Tobirama death in Year 33
First off, the name is not Genjutsu.
It is Gengetsu Hozuki.
Secondly, there is no official statement that reveals Gengetsu's age.
We can only estimate his age based on his appearance and compare him to likes of Tobirama and Second Raikage.
The fact that Gengetsu wasn't present in the first kage summit might indicate the possiblity that He could be considerably younger than Third Mizukage (who appears to be a few years younger than Hashirama Senju).
What do we have now is Hashirama's age which is probably 26 at the time he invites other villages' leaders to the first kage summit. Gengetsu may be 10-15 years younger than Hashirama or simply just inexperienced and not a well known shinobi at the time.
If i were to estimate his age at the time of death (which i think is before Tobirama's death as the most plausible scenario is The Second Hokage's sacrificed fueled Hiruzen's motivation who succeeded at ending the war), i'd say that he looks like a man in his 40's but if i were to consider the kage summit perspective then he is supposed to be in late 20's-early 30's.
Does it make sense? I mean this is a man that is fighting in world war. I expect him to look way older than he actually is due to intense pressure and stress that atmosphere had on his body.
Genetics also play a factor as Hashirama doesn't look much younger than he was shortly after becoming the hokage, and Hashirama had died around 10-15 years after founding konoha alongside Madara. Tobirama is like that too. It's only natural if Gengetsu is around the same age as his peer Tobirama but seems like an old man in comparison.
I'd say he was 35-40.

Just cuz I am weirdly proud of this monster concept even and it will never work outside of this meta story I wanna share
Some context both main characters Jim ( red the) and Jackson ( blue tie) are aware they're in a comic. They were the main characters for my very first comic but Jim evolved out while Jackson continued to evolve and remain. So Jim is from the first "Evolution" ( the very first comic) so Jackson occasionally has to explain stuff to him
(Also ignore my bad proportions with bats. I've always struggled with bats)

Also! karma survives! Worry not and the design for Norman as always belongs to @parasitepuppet
I won't post this comic in full but I do plan to post other comics with all of these same characters this is a sort of non canon story for my mom. So I'm using a hard cover that's hard to take pics of.
Hopefully when I do those I'll be able to use my scanner but photos are doable if not.
Edit: also for context Karma also knows of the evolutions that's why he knows the plothole is coming for him and not Norman.... Not yet anyway...

Question for Christians
If angels have no free will and Satan and his followers rebelled, doesn't that mean that everything they did/do is God's will, since they have no free will?

Dystopian novel but you're divided into whether you're a Kesha gay, a Tally Hall gay, or a Penelope Scott gay
(Kesha gays include and artist who's lyrics are kinda self worshipping, normally with sex jokes)
(Tally Hall gays include indie artists with vibes like Will Wood, Crane wives, or Oh Hellos)
(Penelope Scott gays are just any sad music that you can just tell they hate the government)

How'd we get there?
So I was looking at a map of the Sword Coast for reasons and I noticed something odd.
The dot is a bit off on this image for Baldur's Gate, but I realized that both Baldur's Gate and Elturel are on the North side of the Chionthar. I even checked the official wikis for the cities to confirm it and make sure I was remembering right.
However, in Act 3 of BG3 you enter the city through Wyrm's Crossing - which is on the South bank of the river. I realize that this is a game and there is an amount of hand-waving about things, but I am still scratching my head over this. I can think of a few different reasons for this:
For some reason, the Elturian refugees were traveling to Baldur's Gate from the South side of the Chionthar and the Nautiloid also happened to land on that side of the river.
The road on the North side of the river was impassable at some point and everyone had to cross the river off screen.
Baldur's Gate is making everyone coming from the East go through Wyrm's Crossing for some reason, even though there are other ways into the city on the North side.
Honestly number 2 makes the most sense to me so that's probably going to be how I'm going to rationalize this in-game. I could see there being an issue of the githyanki patrolling the North side of the Chionthar looking for the artefact (which could insinuate that Shadowheart stole it from somewhere North) so somewhere around, oh say, Reithwin having to cross to the South for safety.

Y’all ever just instinctively fill in a plothole in your mind and then immediately forget it’s technically a headcanon?
#I try to help the writers out SO BADLY#Like how are you mixing red and blue and making green?#Oh the canvas must be tinted yellow a bit#And the red is probably super thin that’s why you put the blue on first because you had to go looking for an old bottle of red#You must not have used much red#And there can be a bit of red in green#Don’t you see that earthy tint? That’s the red#They just used much more blue that’s it#And some yellow offscreen#Like I’ll figure it out#And then they’re like ‘actually we’ve never touched yellow in our lives!’#And then I’m like ‘but…but I’m trying to help you…’#Canon is full of criminals#Headcanon#Canon#Plothole#Pole hole#Mine

Okay, but that last one is insane.
What do you mean, Arthur, IF Merlin had the opportunity? That opportunity sits there RIGHT in your hands!!! That horn can be used more than once. You could BOTH go see your fathers!!! You could have offered, asshole! (I say this as someone who loves Arthur pendragon)
I'd have loved it if they both went in and saw them at the same time and Uther is like: hold on a second, your father is WHO?!!?!

hi do you think think ameyuri ringo died before 1 NB Might Duy killed 4 of them ameyuri might’ve already died from that disease
Raiga becomes a holder of kiba and Raiga defects from Kiri, taking Kiba with him. I'm not sure when he defects
How old was ringo maybe 30 I don't know what do you think?
We don't know when Raiga got killed and the only reason people think he survived the battle against Duy is anime-only arc but the issue is that is not stated anywhere in databooks or any canon material. There is that.
Ameyuri might have died sometime before 1 BN or after it. How old was she? I doubt she was older than 30, perhaps died in early or mid 20s. It's been stated that she died young due to being mortally ill, don't know what "young" indicates.
So yeah, Ameyuri might have been alive and in the same squad that Mangetsu was.
