Part One (chapters 1 through 5) is set on the King when a 20 year old Una finds a 13 year old La'an on a derelict ship after being thrown away by the Gorn and up to when La'an is 19 and in the Academy, and about how this beginning factors in to where they end up years later. Part Two (chapters 6 through 16) is set 12 years after the end of part two on the Enterprise, between episodes of season one. Part Three and Epilogue (chapters 17 through 26) are about them exploring the new era of their relationship as a couple. Becomes a slash fic in chapter 9 but you can literally abandon ship before that if you're not into anything more intimate happening when they're both in their 30s.
Please don't be intimidated by the length, as this is three stories in one. And if you're someone who doesn't usually read unfinished fics, reading up to the end of Part Two (chapter 16) is a story with a sense of conclusion and can stand on its own without the rest of the chapters.
Updating every Wednesday.

I am simultaneously deliriously in love with the ending of Loki season 2 and absolutely loathe it
On one hand…Shakespearean tragedy at its finest, essentially circling back to Loki’s original Thor 2011 character arc by reversing it, and Loki has literally ascended to godhood. In the end, Loki’s ultimate selfless sacrifice was to sit upon the highest throne in the multiverse, and that to me is tragically ironically beautiful
On the other hand…Loki being alone makes me want to burn Marvel studios to the ground and do other unspeakable things
Best and worst ending of all time f u Eric Martin
