I'm annoyed.

In part of remedying my "I have no friends down here" problem, I subscribed to a local LGBT+ group's email list. Every month someone hosts a pot luck. I've really been wanting to go, but my spouse doesn't care to socialize and I don't want to go alone.

This month, the host lives in a Frank Lloyd Wright house and we're going to be in Tennessee, visiting my FIL. This would probably be one of the few times my spouse would actually want to go and we can't 😭

And every single pot luck I have been to or been invited to since has caused me to remember that TikTok.

It’s like friggin’ Among Us thinking which person at the pot luck is the kind of person that washes their toilet seat in a dishwasher.

今回は、日系カナダ人のファイバーアーティスト『ヒトコ・オカダさんの１day Exhibition』と『橋爪ちなつ（日本画）さんの日本画絵の具のワークショップ』を併せて行います。

・Hitoko Okada is a fiber artist, curator, Japanese heritage folk craft researcher and arts facilitator.　日系Canada人

　彼女の芸術とキュレーションの実践は、アパレル業界サプライチェーンの植民地史、地政学、労働、そしてそれら各々が日本の伝統的な織物民芸品や先祖伝来の知識に与える影響を注視しています。その作品は、queer かつ diasporicなレンズを通してこれらのテーマを探求しており、さらに創作の根本には自らのルーツでもある日本の伝統的 な地域文化による「神道」の考え「モノに神が宿る」思想へのリスペクトの下、作品となる素材は、その製法はもちろん、原料を育てることやその育てるための土作り、良い水の確保などにも深く経験することを併せて実践されたモノになっています。今回の京都での活動も宇治の青土テキスタイル農場での活動や神社での「しめ縄ワークショップ」の開催などが組み込まれました。 　カナダでは、長年に渡る芸術活動で多くの賞を受賞し、展覧会も幅広く展開されてきました。現在は和紙を手で切ったハニカムのインスタレーションに取り組み、併せて小型の移動式タペストリー織機 で植物繊維を織る実験もされています。

Potato Casserole III Recipe Cream of potato, cream of celery, sour cream, onion, and green bell pepper are all added to hash brown potatoes. This rich and creamy dish can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated. The finishing touches include parsley, paprika, and shredded cheese. 1 can condensed cream of potato soup, 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1 package frozen hash brown potatoes thawed, 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper, paprika to taste, 1 container sour cream, salt and pepper to taste, 1/4 cup milk, 1 can condensed cream of celery soup, 1/2 cup chopped onion
