For my recent comic coloring and lettering class I adapted a (slightly abridged) scene from tmagp 21. It's not perfect and the font certainly needs work but I figured I should stop procrastinating posting it. So.

lol I tried to draw John in my head without his glasses, consider it a practice on how to color bcz i'm so very not good at it.

from an old watercolor drawing i did of him and martin, i liked that he had dark skin, and knowing he is prematurely graying and looks older than he is (on top of not taking care of himself - aka no skincare), he'd look something like this. very tired, worn out.

pls consider joining me in my reread of the screaming staircase that starts on wednesday the 11th <3

i thought it could be fun to do it as a book club and some of you seemed interested in joining in, so i thought why not ! i was initially thinking of doing a few chapters a week but let's be honest... i will have to fight everything in me to not just devour it. if things go well and y'all have fun reading alongside me, i thought it'd also be fun to do a watch party of the first four episodes of the tv series by the end of it to celebrate the finale of the book!

also if you guys would be interested, i could set up a discord server too, even just so we can watch the episodes at the end.

basically i will just be live posting as I read and tagging it with #lockwoodlibrary to try and keep everything together, and would love to see y'all join in, at any stage, even if you find this the day of the watch party. i'm open to any ideas for things we can do while reading <33333

Question for Ao3 authors!

As an avid reader who loves, admires and wants to support Ao3 authors, I’m curious as to what is the best protocol for when we come across typos or significant error? I would love to know!

I’m happy to go ‘hunh’ and move on, but I’ve read that some folks feel like typos are like speed-bumps and derail the momentum of the read, and depending on the error, they might even abandon the fic :(

Is there a way to discreetly contact an author in Ao3 that I don’t know about? Would love to know your opinions and suggestions!
