DnD: dungeons and draco
for @quail-in-red. this is just further proof that if anybody shows even the slightest interest in one of my dumb jokes, i crumble and perform like a silly jester at once. based on this post i made last year and rediscovered today about hp wizards playing DnD.
Dean didn’t give a lot of details when he invited Harry to his weekly dungeons and dragons game, but the last person Harry expected to see at the table was Draco Malfoy.
“We started a game together when we were, er,” Dean trailed off.
“When we were prisoners in Draco's house!” Luna finished for him brightly.
Malfoy didn’t say anything, just met Harry’s eyes stolidly and then went to fuss with the small pile of papers and cards in front of him.
Harry shared a look with Ron, who was already sitting between Dean and Hermione, and then sighed inwardly and took the last remaining seat between Seamus and Luna. He pulled out the premade character sheet Dean had owled him last week. It was wrinkled from having nearly been lost in a pile of post and then hastily shoved in Harry’s pocket before flooing to Dean’s flat.
Harry looked around the table. Malfoy’s stack of papers was bigger than anyone else’s, even Hermione’s. And why did he have so many cards? There was a little wooden tray in front of him too. The dice in the tray looked iridescent, catching and reflecting the light. Trust Malfoy to have expensive poncy accessories. Why was he even here? Did he even like DnD? He’d grown up around magic his whole life; what did he need to pretend for?
“And so let’s go around and introduce our characters,” Dean finished. Harry had missed his whole introduction. “Since Draco and Luna have played before, we’ll start with them.”
Malfoy straightened up a little, carefully picking up his character sheet even though it seemed like he was so familiar with it, he didn’t need to reference it. “I’m Mike, a level three call center operator. I’m twenty-three years old, originally from Essex and just moved to London. I played football in uni, but am feeling less fit now that I have a job where I sit all day.”
Luna went next and spoke in a surprisingly deep voice. “My name is Archie, and I’m a level six IT consultant. I’m forty-six years old, originally from Norwich, but I moved to London for uni and never left. I’ve been married to my wife, Evelyn, for twenty years and we have two children and a cocker spaniel named Rosa.”
Harry stared down at the character sheet in front of him. He hadn’t looked at it before grabbing it in his rush to get here on time. It told him he was meant to be playing Grace, a 29 year old paramedic who’d grown up in London and recently broken up with her fiance after finding out he had cheated on her. She had a cat named Pomegranate. Harry didn’t know much about tabletop games, but there had been a group of kids that Dudley’s gang would sometimes target instead of Harry who had played. And what he’d overhead from their games didn’t sound anything like this.
“Hang on, these are just normal people; we’re all humans with muggle jobs. I thought we were playing dungeons and dragons, you know, with magic involved.”
Malfoy glared at him. “Weren’t you paying attention, Potter? Dean just explained the premise of our campaign.”
Harry didn’t want to admit to Malfoy he’d been too busy wondering what his dice were made of. He looked away from Malfoy to Dean. “Er, sorry. I was… distracted.”
Dean sighed but looked more resigned than irritated at having to explain again. “When I started the game with Draco and Luna, they got confused by the magic system because actual magic doesn’t work the way it does in DnD, so I made up a slightly different game we could play. We’re a group of Londoners in a recreational dodgeball league.”
“And honestly, Harry, it doesn’t feel right pretending to be of magical creature heritage for a game,” Hermione added. “Think of what kind of hurtful stereotypes we could fall into.”
“Okay…” Harry said slowly. It still felt strange, but now that he thought about it, he supposed he didn’t need to spend his Thursday evenings pretending to be part of a group camping out and hunting evil. Once per lifetime was enough without having to do it recreationally in the realm of imagination.
Harry smoothed out his character sheet again and introduced the group to Grace.
not sure if there will be more, but we're all shipping mike/grace right?

I Love You When You Don't Love Yourself
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Word Count: 2.3k
Warnings: Self deprication??? People talking shit I dunno
Genre: fluff and maybe angst
Summary: Bucky let's the opinions of random people get in his head a little too much on a night out
Tumblr media
***
You take one last look at your makeup in the mirror before deciding you're satisfied with the look.
"You almost ready to go doll?" Bucky asks, leaning against the doorframe.
"Perfect timing. Yeah, I just need to put my heels on." You say standing up and walking over to your shoes which you'd left by your closet. Bucky meets you by them and leans down to slip your heels onto your foot. Oh, how he treats you like a princess.
"You look amazing." He tells you as he stands back up, kissing your temple softly.
"Thank you, so do you." You say. Bucky's hand settles against your back as it always does when you're walking.
"Alright let's get on with this." Bucky says as you leave the tower.
"Do you think everyone's already there?"
"Steve definitely is, Nat probably isn't yet, Tony definitely isn't, Wanda and Vis I'd guess yes. Everyone else is up in the air but everyone's left here."
"Last to go-"
"We won't be the last to leave. Telling you now." He tells you.
"I know." You laugh. "Trust me I have no desire to stay the latest."
The Avengers team has been invited to a charity gala which normally nobody would even think about going to, but after the last several months, you definitely think the team could use the positive press so a number of you are going, to represent the team. It takes you and Bucky 20 minutes to get to the venue and Bucky groans when he sees the red carpet lined with photographers.
"No way there's a red carpet here." He rolls his eyes.
"Of course there is. These galas are a gold mine for PR brownie points." You say. "Just smile baby, if they ask us anything worth answering I can do the talking."
"Works for me." Bucky says leaning over the center console to kiss you quickly before getting out of the car. Bucky hands the keys to the valet as he walks around the front before opening your door. He holds out a hand to help you out and then shifts that hand to your lower back, leading you down the red carpet. You can hear a cluster of voices shouting both of your names behind the disorienting flashes but it's hard to make anything out specifically. That is until you catch one voice above the rest.
"Y/n! What's it like dating the Winter Soldier!?"
You can feel Bucky tense a bit beside you though he tries not to let it show on his face. You flash a bright smile at the sea of photographers and slip your hand behind you to quickly squeeze Bucky's.
"Oh well I wouldn't know, the Winter Soldier doesn't exist anymore." You say easily.
"Are you saying you don't think your boyfriend is dangerous!?" Another voice.
"Not any more than any other avenger. I honestly think that the most volatile of us is Tony! But- for some reason, nobody's worried about the guy who can fit rocket blasters into a briefcase- just the... guy who can punch really hard." You let out a half laugh to lighten the severity of your words but you know you've done what you were trying to do when Bucky pulls you closer subtly and the questions stop. "Ciao!" You add with a light wave. You and Bucky walk the remainder of the carpet, posing every so often until you make it inside.
"The guy who can punch really hard?" He quirks an eyebrow at you once you're inside.
"Well yeah. Don't get me wrong you're plenty dangerous- but we have a god that can summon lightening, a witch that can completely warp reality, a kid who has the strength to throw an entire airplane- and I mean Tony's just some guy comparatively however- that suit of his has military grade weapons and he could at one point carry in a briefcase, I feel like you are not the biggest threat to humanity even in this room."
"You make us all sound dangerous."
"You are. We are. Honestly, the world is just lucky Tony thinks that being a hero comes with more glory than being a villain, and the rest of us have decent moral compasses. The line between hero and villain is pretty thin and when you have abilities people don't understand you are always walking that line. They could turn us into fugitives tomorrow. That's why we do things like charity galas so that's less likely to happen."
"You know we are so lucky you're around because I don't think anyone else would care to protect us in this way." Bucky slings his arm across your shoulders, pulling you closer to him.
"True but I suppose that's the good thing about a team, everyone offers a different skill set." You shrug with a chuckle.
"You're so amazing." He says kissing your temple.
"Well I have to be, my boyfriend's pretty cool you know." You smile.
"Oh, is he?"
"Yeah, the coolest." You nod.
"He's a lucky man." Bucky chuckles.
"Sure is. But I think I'm luckier."
I think he'd disagree."
"I'm sure. Let's go find our seats."
"I'll get us drinks first and find you at our table after." Bucky says removing his arm from your shoulder but kissing your hand before he lets you go.
"You sure?"
"I could track you down in a sea of thousands doll, go. I'll see you in a few." He says.
"Something fruity please." You tell him.
"I know what to do." He winks and walks off. You pivot towards the tables to search the name cards for your and Bucky's seats.
"Y/n, hi I'm Noah, I just wanted to say that I'm a huge fan of yours." The man, Noah, appeared pretty much out of nowhere.
"Hi Noah, thank you. Just- trying to do what's right." You smile. You'll admit you've not had many adults come up to you and say they're fans?? It's usually kids so you're not sure what's the best approach here.
"Oh you don't have to be so modest! You're a hero! You've earned every right to brag."
"I'm not really the bragging type is all." You chuckle.
"That's so honorable." He nods. You hum in response.
"I'm gonna go find my seat, but it was nice to meet you!"
"Oh did you come alone? Is someone waiting for you?" He asks.
"What?" You blink at him.
"Well just that you're usually always with the one with the arm- the soldier."
"Bucky." You say.
"Right him. I'm just surprised to see you without him." Noah shrugs.
"Oh, he's here. He went to get us drinks."
"Interesting. I'm surprised."
"By what? Like you said we're always together." You shrug.
"Yeah, right, I know I guess I just thought by now you'd wake up."
"Excuse you?" You scoff.
"Oh come on darling, you and I both know you can do way better than that killer you're with now." He smirks placing a hand on your arm.
"If you want to keep that hand I suggest you keep it to yourself because if you touch me again you won't have to worry about 'that killer I'm with' I'll end you myself." You smile back at him.
"Fiesty."
"Yes, I tend to be when you insult my loved ones. Go figure. I'm going to go find my seat now before you dig yourself a hole too deep to climb out of, enjoy your evening." You say before walking away. Perhaps you should've mitigated that without threatening him, if it reflects badly on the team you could be undoing the very thing you came here for and that's usually Tony's area of expertise, oh there's your name but I mean that guy totally had it coming he was being an absolute jerk. How dare he say-
"Found ya." Bucky kisses your cheek as he sits beside you, cutting your train of thought.
"Hey." You smile giving him a peck on the lips. "What'd you get me?"
"I forget the name but it's a vodka cran with peach and lime basically, something from their specialty menu. I thought you'd like it." He shrugs.
"I'm sure it's lovely, thank you." You tell him taking a sip. It is pretty good. "What'd you get yourself?"
"Just a whiskey." He says. "Anything fun happen while I was away?"
"Nope, I ran into some guy before I found our seats but, that's an interaction barely worth mentioning." You roll your eyes.
"Uh oh, what'd he do?"
"Doesn't matter." You say with a kiss. "Have you seen anyone else yet? It looks like none of us are at the same tables." You point out.
"I saw Tony and Pepper's place cards but they're not sitting if they're already here."
"Oh, what table are they at?" You ask.
"It's over there, and don't worry I already told the bartender that Tony is only allowed one drink." Bucky says making you giggle.
"Well, that's a relief. Let's hope he didn't prepare for that restriction." You hum.
"I think Pepper keeps him on a pretty tight leash so it shouldn't be a problem. I just figured you'd rather be safe than sorry."
"When it comes to Tony's alcohol consumption absolutely." You nod.
"Oh my god is that the winter soldier?" You hear a voice whisper next to you.
"I can't believe they let him in here." Another hushed voice responds, making your jaw clench.
"Well I'm not about to sit next to him." Voice one scoffs.
"I'm sure we can get someone to switch with us it's fine. Come on." Voice two says and the two scuttle off.
"Fucking idiots." You roll your eyes. Bucky clears his throat and takes a sip of his whiskey.
"Oh look there's Vis." Bucky points out the red synthezoid at a table a few rows away from you.
"Okay so we're here, Pepper and Tony should be, Vision and Wanda are there, isn't Steve coming? I wonder where he'll be sitting." You hum.
"I bet he's already in his seat. Look for a bunch of giggling women hovering at a table and we'll probably find him at the center."
"I wonder why they sat us all apart."
"I imagine to promote mingling. All the Avengers at one table would be rather intimidating for the rest of the gala I think. No one would approach us." He shrugs.
"Oh maybe." You hum. You pick up the program sitting on the table to get an idea of how the evening is meant to play out. They'll start with an opening address, then serve dinner, then do the auction items, and the rest of the night will be dancing and mingling. You and Bucky entertain each other at the table until someone begins the night's todos with the opening address. The speech is about five minutes long, thanking guests and talking about the importance of the cause. Dinner orders from the preselected menu are taken quickly and food is brought out within 15 minutes.
"See I told you it was him." You hear a hushed conversation, not at your table but close. Bucky's hand hovers over the fork that he had been reaching for.
"My goodness you were right. That's scary."
"And to think he has a girlfriend walking around like that." That's the line. Bucky stands from your table abruptly and storms off. You hurriedly gather your purse to follow after him but you stop at the table you'd heard the voices coming from.
"If you guys are so bored with your lives that you have nothing better to do than gossip the least you could do is keep your pathetic opinions to yourself." You scoff before walking off to track down your boyfriend.
"Bucky wait." You call when you catch up to him just outside the venue.
"I want to leave." He says.
"It's barely been an hour-"
"And in that time there have been four separate instances of people talking about me like some zoo animal who can't fucking hear them."
"Four?"
"I heard that guy telling you that you can do so much better than the 'killer you're with now', so yeah. Four."
"We'll leave." You nod. Bucky hands his ticket to the valet and it takes almost no time at all for them to bring your car around to the front.
Your drive home is silent, though you rest a comforting hand on Bucky's thigh as he drives. Back in your room at the tower is where the quiet is finally broken.
"I'm sorry." Bucky frowns.
"What on earth for?" You shake your head at him
"I totally ruined the evening. I know this was- important to you that we go." He sighs.
"Don't be ridiculous. There are enough Avengers there to represent the whole team Bucky we didn't have to go, we didn't have to stay. Plus I never want you to be somewhere you don't feel comfortable. The gala is not nearly as important to me as your feelings." You tell him.
"Everything would be so much easier if it wasn't so-"
"Bucky don't. That's a dangerous path to start down. There is nothing wrong with you."
"Stop, y/n. Stop pretending that you don't hate it. If I could still have my normal arm I-"
"Well you don't." You snap, cutting him off.
"What?" He blinks at you.
"You don't have your 'normal arm' Buck, and I didn't even know you when you did. I fell in love with you with the metal one attached to your body, and it's the only you I've ever known. How could you possibly think I hate it?"
"You heard what people were saying tonight-"
"I'm not dating any of them or their opinions. And neither are you. Who gives a fuck what they have to say about it? Don't let them decide what parts of you are worth loving." You say grabbing his face.
"Don't you get tired?"
"No. I'd happily spend the rest of my life clapping back at people's ignorant comments if it meant always coming home to you. I've fought evils those peabrains couldn't even comprehend if they tried, their narrowminded drivel means nothing to me. They're like walking talking gossip rags. Who pays those any attention?" You roll your eyes.
"I love you."
"I love you too. All of you. Even with your metal arm and your chaotic history. Don't you dare let random noise make you forget that." You poke his chest.
"Alright alright." He laughs pulling you against his chest into a hug.

The Social Media Manager: The Series (Part 2)
Another installment of the social media manager series
Another shout out to @thebearsoc for the inspiration!
The Moodboard/OG blurb
Part 1 Introductions and Donuts
Tumblr media
Meetings, Meetings, Meetings
~
“Wait, wait, wait-” Richie started rubbing a hand against the back of his head, “You’re tellin’ me, Marcus’s party girl 20-somethin’ year old friend is getting access to our social media? That’s bull, and you know it, Natalie.”
Natalie rolled her eyes and glanced in Marcus’s direction, “Marcus, Rusty has done this before, right?”  he nodded before explaining, “Nat, Richie, I’m tellin’ ya’, Rusty is really good at this shit. Just give her a shot.”
Carmy entered the sitting area of The Bear and sat next to Natalie without saying anything, “I don’t think we can afford this, Marcus. I’m sure Rusty is a wonderful social media manager, but the budgets tight.” Natalie sighed, staring at her computer screen.
“That's the thing- you guys have a hookup.” Marcus grinned, hoping that this would be enough of a selling point. “Rusty owes me one. She’d probably do the setup for free, and I can do all the posting. She helped me redo my account when I came back from Cophegan- I went from like 100 followers to like 1,000 in a month.”
Carmy looked around the group before nodding in Marcus’s direction, “Call her.”
Carmy stood up and walked out of the dining area through the kitchen and into the office, where his phone had been plugged in to charge. He quickly opened his phone, went to the seldomly used Instagram app, typed in your handle, and smiled as your account came up. He’d been Instagram stalking you since he’d heard Marcus giving Syd your handle. She’d laughed about it being a reference to a K-pop group he’d never heard of; granted, he’d never really listened to any of those groups. So far, he’d learned that you have an eclectic taste in music, an affinity for putting googly eyes on potted plants, a love for fancy coffees with overpriced pastries, and had, in fact, known Marcus since high school. He liked your style. There was something free about it; he admired your creativity. Carmy took notes about you through the account. Your highlight reels being indicative of your personality, the ‘Rusty cooking??’ highlight reel was particularly traumatizing. He wondered how you’d gotten into your 20s without knowing how to actually chop an onion, but he could show you how to do it properly; just the idea of that made his heart flutter. Carmy was incredibly attracted to you, but when you’d posted a boomerang of you kissing a guy’s cheek and tagged the guy’s account with a heart emoji, he was worried this would be another unrequited crush.
When you walked into The Bear the next day in a pair of trousers with your hair up and a pair of glasses perched on your nose, Carmy felt like his heart was going to explode. He beelined for the bathroom to make sure he didn’t have anything in his teeth and washed his hands in an attempt to get the smell of cigarettes off his hands before going to talk to you.
“So that’s what I would recommend doing for TikTok. The algorithm is tricky, but once you get on its good side, it can be really great publicity.” Carmy swallowed as he listened to you explain your strategy to Natalie and Richie. Natalie seemed impressed, while Richie seemed wary. “This is all really great Rusty. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.” Natalie smiled as she shuffled a pile of documents into a yellow folder. You shrugged and responded with a playful laugh before explaining that work had been slow at the moment, so you had some extra free time to take a peak at the analytics you could see without access to the account details.
After Richie and Natalie said their goodbyes, Richie was still seemingly cold toward hiring a social media manager and you in general. The two of them discussed it as they walked toward the kitchen. Carmy waited until they had walked through the kitchen door before approaching you. If he struck out with you he’d prefer not to do it within earshot of his sister and Richie; he’d never live it down. “Hey.” Carmy greeted awkwardly, rocking on his heels.
You smiled back, “Hey you. Long time no see.” Carmy blushed at your flirtatious tone. “How you doin’ Carmy? Spendin’ a lot of time on Instagram, huh?”
Carmy needed some clarification on the comment. You noticed and giggled before explaining, “You liked a picture on my account from like two years ago.” Carmy tightly grinned out of embarrassment. He hesitantly nodded, “Uh yeah—Marcus recommended you do our social media stuff… I just wanted to check out what you post.”
He hoped he saved himself, but self-doubt was taking over. He watched as you began twirling a strand of hair on your index finger. “It’s okay, Carmy. I think you’re cute, and I’m going out on Friday with a couple of friends… if you happen to show up at this bar across town called The White Rabbit, I might let you buy me a drink.”
Carmy was speechless. He was by no means an experienced dater, and within that limited experience, he’d never had a girl come onto him like this. You noticed his awkwardness and found it endearing. “No pressure. You can also just call me sometime.”
You pulled a Sharpie out of your bag and grabbed Carmy’s wrist to write your number across his forearm, “Bye, Carmy.” you winked before walking past him, making sure he’d get a whiff of your perfume.
“B-bye Rus-sty.” Carmy managed to stutter out as he watched you walk out of the front entrance. He pushed the heel of his hand against his jaw. You were different, and it scared him, but also found it enchanting.

Clueless
"Amor, do you happen to know where I left the red book I had yesterday? I can't find it" Loki asked while scanning his bookshelf, "It must be in the lab, you helped me yesterday" you and his brain clicked, "Ah you're right, thank you mi corazón”.
He always did that. Loki picked a language —since he can speak All-speak he has access to all languages— and addressed to you in some kind of cute nickname or pet name.
The day before he did German, seemed to you that he had picked Spanish now.
"Hey, could you grab the mail at the front door?" Tony tried to put his mind together but he couldn't remember your name, "What was your name again?" As soon as you were going to respond Loki cut in between the two of you, "You mean my darling here? She's honey" Loki smiled mischievously while winking at you.
"I mean her name Loki" Tony was getting annoyed by his sudden intervention, giving that his curiosity wasn't as big as his laziness, "She's honey" you chuckled, "You don't get it, Loki has this game going on, I'm not allowed to say my name until he's satisfied" that made Loki laugh.
"That is nonsense, how can you allow him to do that?" You shrugged with a smile, "It's just a game Tony, and it’s not like he's hurting anyone” Tony rolled his eyes, “He’s hurting my nerves, why on earth would you encourage him?” you giggled seeing Loki’s mischievous stare, “He makes me laugh”.
Since you met Loki, you and he have been very good friends. He turned out to be a passionate and fun guy, and a good listener. The afternoons in which you used to get bored between paperwork and the horrible and incessant ticking of the clock in the studio, you spent them with Loki watching movies, talking about his adventures, some of his trauma, he even had the courage to let himself cry on your shoulder.
He trusted you, and you trusted him, even with his silly game.
“Hey! I’m going to annoy everyone; you can’t tell them your name” he appeared through the crack of your door and pointed, he had his game face on. “Sure, keep me updated” you thought that whatever he was doing he was probably doing it out of boredom solely, so it was probably nothing to be concerned about. Besides, if it were something wrong, he wouldn't even run it by you first.
“Loki, just one thing” he came back, leaning against the frame, “If I can’t say my name, how are you going to call me? You can’t do it either” he thought about it a little bit and then his whole face lighten up, “How about I call you al sorts of little names, like darling, buttercup, that sort of…stuff?” he was acting a little bit off, but you didn’t mind. “Oh yeah sure, and just so you know they’re called nicknames” you blew him a kiss before getting back to your paper work.
“Nicknames, of course! I’m so stupid” Loki whispered to himself angrily after he closed the door. He started plotting making the others crazy, it worked for a while just fine.
“I still can’t believe you guys don’t know my name, we go shopping every weekend girl” you shot at Wanda, Nat and Pepper, “Loki erased your records, did he washed our brains too?” Clearly he did, he had been practicing that spell for a while now, "You can't prove anything darling!" Loki took out a bottle of water from the refrigerator while he snapped his fingers like a diva.
“You have to admit is a little funny though” you giggled watching Loki smirk. “Yeah, he can’t take over the planet but he single handedly made us forget your name, what an achievement” Steve’s sarcasm brought a few chuckles, crossing his arms over his chest he looked down on you and Loki.
“Hey!” you wanted to go towards the soldier but Loki cut in between, keeping you away from him. “Darling don’t” out of pure concern he begged you with his eyes for you not to get involved, “Get away Loki” your hands started to get hard, your skin fractured and your cells turned your fists into rock.
“Princess please” you faintly heard Loki when he called you, the shards of rock started to climb up your arm, “If you do this you’ll have to go through de-transforming, you know how painful it is!” Loki took your hands in his, the stones pricked his skin, but he cared little, he had to appease your anger. From the tower, you were the only one who knew that he had led the 2012 attack under the mind control of Thanos, the only one who knew that none of it was his fault. That is why it was so easy for you to succumb to anger.
The look in your eyes hurt him, you were doing it for him, but you were hurting yourself in the process. He once held your body while your skin slowly turned itself bland and soft again, you screamed and cried against his chest, and all he could do was try to soothe you and hold you close.
“Beautiful please! It’s ok” your eyes fell on his and the stone stopped before it got to your shoulders, “Good thing I worked on this” Banner appeared from behind you holding an empty syringe. “What did you do?!” Loki went around you and pressed a dagger to the doctor’s neck, his eyes glowing green.
“A cure, look” the stone had faded painlessly and quickly, “I’m sorry, but Steve that was uncalled for, Loki is just playing a harmless game!” you spoke defensive.
“Erasing our minds is harmless?” Wanda stood up from the sofa.
“He just made you forget my name, don’t be exaggerated”.
“What else he could’ve erased? We wouldn’t know!” Steve got dangerously close to you, making Loki glare at him and prepare to put you behind him.
“But he didn’t!” your voice echoed in the silent room.
“It’s just a game! You make this fuss because it’s him, but when Tony hid tiny explosives around the house, those that almost gave Vision a short-circuit, you let him go with a slight tap on the wrist” most of them shut up and looked the other way.
“That’s what I thought, I’m going to finish up my work, and I better don’t hear shit about this subject or else!” Loki followed you with a grin shortly after Natasha stopped him midway, “You knew she was going to react like that, you simp” Loki felt like a little boy in love, you standing up to him made him feel all fuzzy inside, he was ready.
“Darling” he crossed the door after you opened harshly, “Don’t ask me to calm down Loki, you know me” he watched you taking out papers from a drawer and slam them on the desk, he flinched at the sound. “I know, I just want to do something” you shifted your hips, your lips suddenly caught by his.
“How are you so smart and yet so clueless Y/n?” he kissed you again, this time you kissed him back, moaning slightly when he pulled you flush against him, your hips crashed with his.
“I only continued the game because you laughed and let out stress, it was indeed funny, but I love hearing you laugh…and I love you” you had problems, like stuff to do, you just couldn’t put a finger on it. He was holding you and kissing you, and you loved it!
“You don’t have to say it back, but I would-“ you cut him off, “Loki you opened up to me, helped me when I felt miserable, we baked together and we spend most days just with each other, of course I have feelings for you, I would attempt to break Steve’s nose for you” he chuckled against your lips, “Still, there’s no way I’m going to stop annoying them” you rolled your eyes, you fell in love with a rascal.
“You’re incorrigible, but I like you that way” Loki kept going until Tony exploded and tried to use him as a target shot, he laughed for weeks after the memory of your name returned to them, however Loki never stopped using pretty names for you.
Then Tony put out a little explosive that made Loki scream like a girl. It was worth it, although Loki threw him out the window again.

Pairings: Natasha Romanoff x Fem!Stark!Reader
Summary: Natasha's been connecting all the dots about how she feels about you, it's up to her to how she'll handle the situation.
Warnings: none, let me know if there's any.
You wake up alert and on your guard when you feel someone touching you, and manage to calm your nerves as soon as seeing the redhead and pair of green eyes looking at you. "God, I thought you were dead," Natasha says before sighing.
"Well, obviously, I am pretty much alive." You retort, yet the worry and concern didn't leave Natasha, and you notice the two of you shivering due to the temperature. Taking both her hands, you blow air on her skin attempting to make her feel better. "I think we should change our clothes, we're soaking wet." You comment, and she agrees.
"When you said it wasn't after us, what is that psycho after then?" You ask her as you stand up from where you were laying down, attempting to dust off the dirt that's already clinging to your clothes. "It's after this." She told before taking something inside the pocket of her hoodie, revealing a bunch of vials with something red.
"What is it?" You ask once more, Natasha shrugged and now showing you a photo of her probably around 10 or 11, she has blue-dyed hair and there's someone younger than her. You look at her and she seems taken aback, seeing her old photos.
"She's my little sister…" Nat didn't say anything more, you don't want to force any information about her at this time, you offer your hand yet hesitated before holding on to it. "Are you alright? I'm sorry I couldn't help, I barely felt my body after the explosion." You confessed.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked you to come along to get some gas." She apologized, you look at her with furrowed brows. "It's alright, it's not every day you get an RPG launching towards you while driving a car." You tried to joke about the situation, and you managed to make her smile a little.
"But, I could have gotten you killed." You roll your eyes, quickly placing her hand on your chest for her to feel your heart beating. "Well, I'm alive, save that for another day." You say, then Natasha stayed silent.
"Let's just go, we're going to Budapest." She says as she takes her hand back to herself, not holding your hand anymore, kinda hurt when the two of you walk back in the forest and into the caravan, not mentioning a word about the kiss that happened earlier.
Changing clothes, and managed to get all the necessities in a bag, then the two of you left the place as if no one stayed there recently. There's nothing but complete silence between the two of you, she occasionally asks if you're okay then there's nothing more, not even small talk.
The two of you got off the train, the two of you didn't initiate a conversation during the whole trip, all she said was the two of you would be heading to the Budapest safe house. You tried to ask what she and Clint did here in the country. Her answer was short and simple. "I'm only removing my last defect on SHIELD," she said.
Now the two of you are outside the door, you have your handgun out while she tries to pick the lock, then a voice comes from inside. "I know you're out there." The female inside spoke. "I know you know I'm out here," Nat replied, then finally opened the door. "Whatever happens between me and Yelena, you don't do anything, alright?" She quickly says before heading inside.
The two of you have your guards up then Yelena speaks again. "Then why are you and your friend are skulking around like you're in a minefield?" Natasha chuckled sarcastically at the comment. "Because I don't know if I can trust you," Nat commented.
"Funny, I was going to say the same thing." Yelena finally revealed herself, a blonde female in her 20s, and she has a gun pointed at Natasha. The redhead looks at you signaling that it's time for you to back away, you place your gun back at your holster raising your hand where Yelena can see them.
"Didn't expect you'd bring a friend," Yelena says, her eyes never leaving Natasha's figure, then the two of them still have their guns pointed at one another. You decide it's best to leave the two alone, and you look around the flat, not touching anything and still careful while wandering around.
You started hearing dishes getting broken, somebody getting thrown on the ground, door, probably kitchen cabinet too. You trust Nat and decided to stick to your word that you won't do anything if something happens, maybe this is how they greet one another? You're not going to be surprised actually.
Then the noise died, you've decided to check both of them, and they were choking each other with a curtain, the place is absolutely trashed but none of them seems to be injured. Both of them turned red until Natasha called for a truce.
"You've grown up," Natasha says, Yelena stood up then looked at you as she replied to Nat. "No shit." Then the blonde heads into the kitchen and chugging vodka straight out of the bottle. "This is how you guys greet each other? Wouldn't say it's sweet, but you guys do your thing." You asked Nat.
Natasha shook her head. "Haven't seen her in like 20 years, trust issues, y'know?" You chuckle at her answer, then the two of you follow Yelena.
"You had to come to Budapest, huh?" Natasha says as she takes a drink in a shot glass, Yelena shot her a look before speaking. "I came here because I thought you wouldn't." Then her eyes trailed at the walls. "But since you're here, what bullet does that?" You and Nat look at the holes in the wall.
"Those are arrows." You answered Yelena, and she seemed to be content with it. "If you thought I wouldn't come here then why did you send me this?" Natasha says before placing the vials along with the picture on the table. "You brought it back here?" Yelena says with worry in her voice.
"Well, tell me what it is," Natasha commanded, then Yelena talks about it being a synthetic gas that has something to do with altering their mind. "In English, please?" Nat says with confusion on her face. "это противоядие от контроля над разумом (it's an antidote to mind control.)" Yelena spoke, causing you to chuckle.
Natasha looks at both of you before commenting. "Real mature." You furrow your brow with what Nat has said before defending yourself. "It was funny? Your sister has humor, Nat." You say now crossing both of your arms.
"Why don't you take it to your super scientist's friends, her dad?" Yelena asked while pointing at you. "We're actually on the run and we're federal fugitives as of the moment, sorry." You replied to Yelena, and you haven't noticed that Nat changed her shirt.
"Well, where's an Avenger when you need one?" Yelena spoke, and Nat glared at her sister, holding Natasha's arms when she walked towards Yelena. Stopping her from probably starting another fight, and she seems like she wouldn't so you let go of her.
"You could've gotten both of us killed." Natasha raised her voice, then you looked away trying to avoid the conversation. "What was I supposed to do? You're the only superhero person I know." Yelena spoke, and you felt bad for Yelena when Nat almost shouted at her sister.
"You know, I keep on checking the news about Captain America taking down the Red Room," Yelena says and Natasha looks at her surprised, you are confused since she and Clint already took down the Red Room, they always joke about Budapest. "What? Dreykov's dead, we almost blew up an entire building just to take him down." Nat spoke.
"Who's we?" Natasha rolled her eyes and answered. "Barton, we stayed here for 10 days before even leaving the country," Nat explained, yet Yelena isn't even convinced. "Then tell me exactly what happened, tell me the full details."
Natasha didn't speak as if she was holding something back, you were sitting down on a chair watching the tense scene between the two. "Did you check for Dreykov's body?" Yelena asked once again.
"There was no body left to check," Natasha answered, and Yelena scoffed as if Nat wasn't speaking the truth, then silence filled the room. Until the three of you heard footsteps outside, then Natasha pulled you to hide in safety.
Suddenly you and Nat heard the window crash and footsteps going in your direction. "You alright?" Nat asked, you just nodded trying to be silent, then Natasha's eyes went searching for Yelena.
Now she sees Yelena going across the room, turning some switch and causing a continuous explosion, then the three of you used the advantage of it and fleeing the building, you and Nat followed Yelena since she seems to be headed somewhere.
"Where are we supposed to go?" Natasha asked while the three of you were running for your lives. "East side of the building! Motorcycles!" Yelena answered, now the three of you managed to get on the roof. A lady is wearing a similar suit to what Nat would usually wear chasing all of you, seems like she's not hesitating to kill you all too.
Now there's nowhere to go other than jumping on the chimney and probably hoping for the best, you and Nat removed some piece of metal that connects the chimney to the roof, as soon as the both of you removed it. The three of you hopped on and held tight, suddenly the lady decided to join, yet she missed.
Natasha managed to hold the lady, trying to knife Nat's hands then she slipped from her grasp, causing the stranger to fall, the chimney now crashed on a building, you and Yelena fell and crashed in a window.
"Who are these people?" You ask Yelena, helping her to stand up, and two of you catch your breaths before heading to Natasha. "There are other Widows, trying to retrieve the vials and return it to Dreykov." You nodded with her explanation.
"Let's get to Natasha and free the widow chasing us," Yelena says, taking out one of the vials in her bag, then the two of you rushing down the stairs, and you wish that Natasha is safe, probably doesn't have a broken bone too.
"I believe you must be exposed to the gas then?" You ask her once again, Yelena looks at you. "Why do you think they're after me too?" She answered sarcastically. "Yeah, right… dumbass." You muttered to yourself, as soon as the two of you reached the ground floor.
The both of you kicked the door open, to see Natasha kneeling on the ground. "Do you believe me now?" Yelena asked, seeing the widow chasing the three of you lifeless on the ground, she slowly took back the vial in her bag. "How many are there?" Natasha asked, her back facing the both of you.
"Enough, let's go," Yelena says before heading to fetch her motorcycle, you don't usually feel this type of adrenaline in your body, considering the fact that your father would only allow you into in and out missions.
After lots of running and ducking to avoid getting shot by other widows, the three of you finally get to the motorcycle, of course, it's a two-person vehicle. "Which one is yours?" Natasha asked Yelena. "Black, brown seat." She quickly answered.
You heaved a sigh before taking the motorcycle next to it and hot-wiring it. "Looks like Stark isn't such a good girl, what do you think?" Yelena commented, before hopping on her motorcycle and letting Nat drive.
Once you've finally powered the vehicle, the three of you are being chased by an armored car. "Y/N! Follow us!" Nat shouted, of course, you're going to follow them. It's not like you'll survive having a psycho who copies your friends and being chased down by a trained assassin would do you any good.
Managing to lose the armored vehicle, there are other widows on the bike too, you're actually surprised of what they are capable of, it seems like Nat really must be one hell of an assassin.
Everything is going well until the three of you are welcomed by traffic, and suddenly a widow shoots the wheel of her motorcycle, while Natasha and Yelena crash into a car. You got out of your vehicle and followed the two, seeing Yelena pointing a gun at a man to make him get out of the car.
"You can't just steal a guy's car?" Natasha commented while Yelena got in the car first, then you're all panicking and shit, you followed Yelena inside and realized you sat down on her lap. "Well, Stark stole a bike earlier." She says while looking confused with you on her lap.
"I am panicking, it's my first time experiencing all this." You defended yourself, Natasha finally got inside and started to drive the car. "Y/N, are you alright?" Natasha asked, rolling your eyes by hearing that question for the nth time.
Suddenly you get dizzy, is it because you're probably panicking too much? Or the fact that all you've done the whole week was to run either from authorities or trained assassins. Your vision started to get all blurry, and you can't understand anything that Nat or Yelena was saying at the moment.
And you passed out due to the stress you've been feeling.
You felt a sudden pain in your left arm and that woke you up, quickly sitting down you notice you're in a cramped and small space, is this the morgue? Are you dead? You placed a hand on your chest and released a relieved sigh when you felt your heart beating.
"It's been a year, Stark, you passed out while we're on the run," Yelena spoke, a hand on your shoulder trying to comfort. "What? No, that can't be-"
"Yelena, stop." As soon as you hear Natasha's voice, you feel safe, and you didn't notice that you were laying your head on her lap when you collapsed. "What happened?" You ask the two.
"Psycho comes back and shoots another RPG, hence why you're injured and we're hiding in this air vent." Nat simply explained and ran your hands on your hair. "How long was I out?" Asking once again. "Less than 10 minutes," Yelena answered. "I'm sorry…" you softly spoke.
"It's alright, it's normal that you reacted the way you did." Natasha comforts you, then to your surprise she takes your hand and intertwines your fingers with her. "I'm glad that the two of you are safe." You say as you hold on tight to Nat's hand.
"It still doesn't make sense, I killed Dreykov, dropped an entire building on him," Natasha spoke, Yelena looked at her before scoffing. "Truth doesn't really make sense when you only omit key details, what happened to Dreykov's daughter?"
"She was collateral damage, I had to take her down too," Natasha admitted. You felt the guilt in her when she admitted, then you suddenly remember how she and Clint would joke about Budapest.
"Wait… you and Clint joke about exploding a child?" You look at Natasha who's looking at the floor. "Sometimes using humor to cope helps, Y/N," Nat says, then you remember how much your father joked about what happened in New York, you think it's quite… valid?
"This is quite cozy for some air vent." You say trying to change the topic of the conversation, you moved your ass to sit down next to Nat, your head subconsciously resting on her shoulder. "Clint and I stayed up here for 2 days." She says, fiddling with your fingers and resting her head on top of yours.
"I'll see if we're good to go." Yelena says before opening the entrance of the vent, then she went back in the subway, now you and Nat are alone. "Are you ok–" Natasha was about to ask the same question she asked you for the whole day.
"Nat, no, I'm actually not, I'm fucking scared, and I feel like anytime Ross is going to be here or that Dreykov's special project is after us or the other widows." You let out, Natasha looks at you, then noticing that you just shed a tear, you are scared. Fearing that one of you get to be thrown in jail, or get killed because of some mind-controlled assassins.
"Y/N, you're doing great for someone whose first time being on the run, I know it's all hard to take in and if only we went our separate ways, you wouldn't have been dragged into this." She lets go of your hand, instead, she places her hand on your cheek once again, wiping the teardrop on your skin.
"If we've gone our separate ways I wouldn't last a day without you, I'm probably chilling with Wanda and Clint, I'm not saying they're not good company, but I don't want to be in jail." You say, and Natasha nodded. "I know what you mean, Y/N, I know…"
Then you notice the distance between the two of you, faces an inch apart, the two of you can feel each other's breath once again, and your eyes trailed down on her lips which Natasha noticed.
"That's also me saying I wouldn't last a day without you." You confessed, before resting your forehead against hers, Natasha was expecting you to kiss her, but being this close to you, she doesn't really mind, as long it's you she's doing it with.
Natasha stayed quiet, as she enjoyed the peacefulness of this moment, then she slightly pulled away from you to place a chaste kiss on your forehead, and she held both of your arms, wrapping them around her neck, now her arms made their way to your waist.
Burying her face at the crook of your neck while she holds you tight and close, you shut your eyes as the two of you embrace each other. While in the middle of the calm and serene moment, the lid of the air vent came off then. "We're good to go and we've got to be quick!" Then the two of you get off each other, if Nat gets to kiss you before you fall off the bridge, pretty sure you can kiss her before getting off the vent.
"Nat, wait…" You hold her arm since she's about to go down first, and she looks at you over her shoulders, you move closer to her before crashing your lips against hers, you softly bite her lower lip before slowly pulling away, and you see a smile on her face as she hopped down.
"Did you two just?" Yelena looks at Natasha, cringing with what her sister just did, Nat waits for you to get down before following Yelena. "Do we not talk about that too?" You ask Natasha before following her, and she looks at you with a smirk.
"Depends on what you want to talk about," Natasha replied, then you raised a brow at her response, you jogged leaving her behind and catching up with Yelena. "I will act like you didn't just kiss my sister a second ago so that we can communicate without me remembering that," Yelena says.
You chuckle, yet you smile at what she just said. "Is your sister usually annoying like that?" You ask Yelena while pointing your thumbs at Natasha, then the two of you look over your shoulders to see her.
"Ah, yes, I don't know what runs through her head," Yelena replied, while Natasha on the other hand, looks at the two of you not knowing what the hell you two were talking about.
Let's say that she's hoping and praying that Yelena doesn't say something about her in front of you.

After staying in the vent and managing to run away from the Task Master, the three of you ended up in a convenience store in the middle of nowhere, you bought some alcohol, and bandages to properly care for your wound, and Yelena looked around the store for an alcoholic drink.
"Where is the Red Room?" Natasha asked while she's washing her hands on the sink, Yelena shrugged and shook her head. "I don't know, every widow is sedated at every entrance and exit for maximum security," Yelena replied, as she took a look at some bottled alcohol, then tossed it to you.
"Where do you think I was after all this time?" Yelena asked Natasha, the latter faced her younger sister, and she looked at her. "I thought you're living a normal life," Natasha answered, you take the items they took and head to the cashier to pay for them.
"And you never bothered to check on me?" Yelena says, Natasha followed you at the front, yet she didn't leave the store yet. "I thought you never wanted to see me." She told Yelena, and the latter rolled her eyes then scoffed.
"Just say you don't want your baby sister to tag along and save the world with the cool kids," Yelena says with a smirk on her face, and Natasha clenches her jaw. "You're not really my sister–"
"And the Avengers aren't really your family, well… except for Stark, she stayed with you after all this running," Yelena commented, and suddenly she changed the topic. "Why do you always do that thing?" And Nat looks at her with a questioning look.
"Oh, that thing!" You butted in, then you do the infamous Black Widow pose, Yelena nodded giving you a thumbs up for knowing what she means. "You're a poser, Natasha," Yelena commented, then Nat raised a brow. "I'm not a poser." The latter says.
"It's okay if you're a poser, it's just that you think that everybody is looking at you." Natasha retorted, and you chuckle at the bantering between the two. "All the time I spent on posing, I was doing something good, to make up for all the pain and suffering we've caused." The mood changes real quick, now you stay silent.
"Well, pain and suffering is every day and we'll always be the trained killer that we are," Yelena says, the guy at the cashier hands the plastic bag containing all the items you bought, and you leave the store first. Natasha followed after and taking the bag from your hands, you looked at her who seemed exhausted from all the events happening.
"Do you want something to eat or drink?" You nodded, Nat signs you to follow her, and after a little bit of walking, with Yelena behind the two of you, the three of you arrived in a small food place.
You sat down then Natasha went inside, ordering cheeseburgers only for you, and beers for all of you, she sat down next to you, while Yelena settled in front of you two.
"An older widow freed me, and I killed her," Yelena says as she takes a sip from her beer, Natasha unwrapped the cloth on your arm, and she tends your wound while listening to Yelena. "Did you have a choice?" You ask her, and she only shook her head as an answer. "Then it's not your fault," Natasha says.
Yelena's eyes shifted at the family going home across the place you three are drinking, she seemed to like the view of what seems to be a happy and functional family. "Have you ever looked for your parents, the real ones?" Natasha looked at the latter as soon as she finished putting a bandage on your wound.
"I got abandoned on the street like garbage, I don't think I have a reason to look for them," Natasha says then she takes a good sip at her drink before asking Yelena the same question. "Well, they ruined my birth certificate so I made a new one." She said with a smile, and Nat seemed to brighten up.
"It says that I still live in Ohio, I have an older sister who moved to the west and she works as a science teacher, but she started working part-time when she had her son, and she has a husband who is a construction work–" Natasha halted Yelena speaking when she chuckled at her story. "That's definitely not my story," Nat says, then Yelena leaned back on her seat.
"Yeah, what is your story?" Yelena asked, and without you knowing, Natasha looks at you while you're spacing out. "Well, I don't really have a story, I don't have much to think about it alone," Nat answered. "But if I'm pretty sure it involves another person, who's a Stark?" Yelena teased, and with the mention of your last name, you look at the latter.
"What about you? What is your story?" Yelena says, then you wipe your mouth with the tissue before speaking. "Well, I was created because of my father's one of many hookups, lived with my grieving mother while I was an infant and she's grieving cause Dad won't marry her, so she left me at his doorstep, we did DNA tests to prove that I was really his and now he loves me more than anything." You say, smiling at the memory of your father who did everything he could to raise you.
"Then why aren't you with him?" Yelena asked once more, you look at Nat for a bit before answering. "Because I chose to do what I think is right, and probably did follow my heart." The blonde chuckled, noticing that Natasha was blushing at what you've just said.
"I have a plan." Natasha suddenly spoke, you and Yelena looked at the redhead. "Is it killing Dreykov and taking down the Red Room?" Yelena told Nat, and she earned a nod from Nat. "Even if he's way too slippery to kill and Red Room's impossible to find?" She nodded once again.
"Sounds like a shit load of work," Yelena says, making you and Nat chuckle. "Yup," Nat replied and Yelena took another sip at her beer. "Could be fine though." You say as you take the final bite of your burger. "Yup,'' Yelena said.
"I saw where he put the keys," Natasha says as she looked at the car, that the man of the family parked in the garage, the three of you smiled before speaking in unison.
"Top drawer green cabinet."

Online Dating
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Summary: Sam sets Bucky up for a dating app, and he meets Y/N.
Word Count: 1,168
Tumblr media
“This is ridiculous Sam, why are you making me do this?”
Sam set Bucky up for online dating. Bucky wasn’t too pleased. “Right, picture time.” Sam picks up Bucky’s phone and starts snapping some photos of him. “Go stand over there.” Bucky mumbles a ‘for god’s sake’ under his breath and moves by the window where Sam has pointed. He adds them to Bucky’s profile and enters a few questions for him. “What’s your favourite book?” Sam asks. “The Hobbit.” Sam gives him a puzzled look. “How the hell do you know the Hobbit?”
“I read it in 1937. When it first came out.” He just sighs and adds it into the profile. “We need to add some of your interests.” Bucky pauses, he only knows his old interests, from before he was frozen. He wasn’t up to date with any new things yet, he hadn’t found the time. “We’ll just put some generic stuff.” Sam types on his phone quickly, and puts it down on the table. “Done.”
Bucky picks up the phone, scanning his new profile. “38?” He questions. “Well, we can’t put your real age, can we?”
Bucky Barnes.
38.
Into working out, drinking, watching movies, dancing, reading.
Favourite book? The Hobbit.
Favourite film? The Hobbit.
“But I’ve never seen the film,” Sam rolls his eyes. “Well you can watch it tonight then, can’t you.”
Night owl or morning person? Night owl.
Old-fashioned or young at heart? Definitely old-fashioned.
Ideal date? Movie and drinks.
“I guess that’ll do. Ahh, Sam, it’s making a noise, what did I do?” He shakes his head and snatches the phone from Bucky’s hands. “It means you have a match.” Sam clicks a few buttons and shows Bucky. “See, she matched with you. It means she’s interested. Her name is Y/N. Do you want to message her?” Bucky nods his head. “How do I do that? Phone message Y/N!” He shouts directly at the phone. “Oh my god, no.”
Sam spends the rest of the afternoon teaching Bucky how to use dating app, and eventually all the other apps on his phone. “Is this why you don’t answer my texts? Because you don’t know how to?” Sam laughs slightly. “I am 106 years old, Wilson!”
Once Sam has taught Bucky how to work his phone and left Bucky to his own devices, the app makes another noise. Now knowing what this means, he opens it up to see he has a message.
Hey there, I must say you look so familiar! - Y/N
Hello, it’s lovely to meet you, Y/N. I’m not sure why, guess I just have one of those faces. - Bucky
You must! It is a lovely face nonetheless. - Y/N
Why thank you, doll face. Yours is just as lovely, if not more. - Bucky
Oh, aren’t you a little flirt Bucky! - Y/N
They spoke all evening. They ended up having a lot more in common than Bucky had expected. Y/N even proposed the ideas of going out to drinks later on in the week, Bucky thought it was a fabulous idea. They planned to meet on Friday, at 8pm at a bar close to both of their places.
“So, tonight, huh?” Sam teased, Bucky had told him all his updates, well, more like Sam forced him to tell him all his updates. “Yes. I’ve already planned what I’m going to wear, I feel like a 14 year old school girl with a crush.” Sam laughs and pats him on the back. “I’m not surprised, she’s gorgeous and it’s been a hell of a long time since you’ve been on a date.”  These words are such a relief to Bucky. “She’s probably just as nervous as you.”
“NATASHA! Where is my black dress?” Y/N screams, rummaging through a pile of clothes on the floor. “You have about 20 black dresses, Y/N. Be more specific.” Natasha yells back from another room. “The one with the mesh sleeves! I need it for my date tonight!” No luck in the growing pile, she heads to her roommate’s closet and starts searching. “There it is, you little thief!” Natasha hides her laughter. “Oops.”
When Y/N finishes getting ready, it’s 7:15pm. She’s way too early to leave yet, the bar was only a 10 minute walk. Natasha pours herself and her roommate a drink and the two of them sit at their table. “Why won’t you tell me who you’re going on a date with?” Nat questions, sipping her beverage. “Because you’ll search them up, and do a background check like you always do, and then tell me not to go, But I really like this one, I wanna work him out on my own thank you.” Y/N sticks her tongue out sarcastically and takes a gulp of her drink. “Fine. But if you’re not back by the morning, I’m organising a search team for your body.” Rolling her eyes, Y/N replies. “Oh you are so dramatic, Nat. He’s a really nice guy.”
Bucky arrives first, just before 8pm, and is seated at a table on the balcony upstairs. He sets down his jacket, and the bunch of flowers he brought for Y/N and sits down. He orders two drinks, and waits patiently for her to arrive. He can’t stop his leg from bouncing up and down. His phone buzzes, it’s Sam. ‘You got this, Soldier!’
“Hi, I’m meeting someone,” Y/N tells the hostess, and is escorted upstairs. Bucky stands when he see’s her, a wide smile appearing on his face. The hostess helps her remove her coat as she goes into hug Bucky. “Hey, it’s so great to see you in person!” She smiles, and goes to sit down. Bucky tucks her chair in for her and then sits down himself. “I just ordered us two random drinks, I have no idea what’s in them,” He says shyly as the waiter brings over two fruity looking cocktails. “Looks delicious!”
“Nice selection, Mr Barnes,” Y/N says, nodding her head after tasting the cocktail. “Damn, you’re right, I did well with these.” Bucky replies after tasting his. She giggles at his comment. They chat about anything and everything. It was as though they’d known each other for years. Eventually, it’s time for them to head off. Bucky insists on walking Y/N home.
“You didn’t have to,” Y/N says, arriving at her place, standing outside the door. “I wanted to, Y/N.” Bucky replies, joining her on her doorstep. “I had a really lovely time tonight, I would adore seeing you again, angel.” Y/N nods her head in agreement. Bucky leans down, as Y/N leans up, their lips meeting in the middle. They’re both so caught up in the kiss they don’t even hear the door open.
“Barnes?!” Nat exclaims as she opens the door. “Romanoff?! What are you doing at Y/N’s house?!” Y/N furrows her brow, deep in thought. “What are you doing kissing my roommate more like?!”
“Ohh, I’ve seen you around Nat’s work. That’s why I thought you looked familiar.”

Repercussions (8)
Masterlist
Pairings: dark!Natasha Romanoff x dark!Wanda Maximoff x fem!reader
Summary: Wanda lets you have a little freedom and you take advantage of it.
Warnings: dark themes
A/N: I was going to do one long part to show the aftermath/consequences of what the reader did, but decided to leave you on a cliffhanger instead 😏 you have my permission to yell at me for it though. I’ll be posting part 9 tomorrow!
Previous part
-
“Hey, printsessa.”
You looked up from your bowl of cereal, offering Wanda a smile that widened as she approached, placing a gentle palm on your cheek when she leaned down to kiss you.
“Good morning, Wan. I’m almost done,” you added as you gestured to your bowl, and she shook her head.
“That’s not what I came over here for, although we do need to leave soon.”
“Oh, then what’s going on?” you questioned before shoveling your last spoonful in.
“I wanted to give you this.” She grabbed your hand and turned it over, dropping an iPad into your palm. “My meeting at the tower will be pretty long and then we have to wait another hour or so for Tash to get back from her mission, so I don’t want you to get bored. I downloaded all the games you like and a reading app.”
“Thank you, Wan.”
She responded to your gratitude with a kind smile and a kiss on your forehead, grabbing your dishes as she pulled away and taking them over to wash. You unlocked the iPad, using the time Wanda was distracted to quickly download Instagram and log in. A few DMs popped up once the app loaded, and the one that caught your eye first came from your ex-girlfriend, Brittani Gray.
Hey! I know it’s been a while since we’ve talked, but I’ll be in your city this week for work! I hate to be so last minute, but I’m only free to meet today.
The message was sent an hour ago, and you found yourself quickly responding to her before you had time to think about your actions. You named the place you wanted to meet in and closed the app, switching over to a game just as Wanda walked away from the sink.
“Ready to go?” she asked and you nodded sweetly, your expression dripping in false innocence.
-
“There she is!”
You looked up from subconsciously counting the tiles in front of your feet, meeting the eyes of the billionaire that owned the tower you just entered.
“You must be the girlfriend. Tony Stark, nice to meet you, kid.”
You told him your name and extended a hand, fighting the urge to roll your eyes or gag when he grabbed and planted a kiss on the back of it. He then moved on to address Wanda, and you wandered over to a nearby armchair, removing the iPad from the little crossbody satchel you were given to carry it in. You plugged in earbuds and turned on some music while you kept yourself busy with another game until a hand touched your knee.
“Hey.” Wanda’s eyes seemed to sparkle when you met her gaze, and you couldn’t help the look of adoration you gave her. “I’ll be upstairs, but if you need something you ask one of the secretaries to call me. Love you, baby.”
A kiss was dropped on the top of your head before she quickly walked away with Tony, and you knew she was probably kicking herself for the declaration. Despite how much the two enjoyed controlling most aspects of your life, the one thing they never pushed for was a confession of love. Natasha and Wanda knew they loved you, but they wanted you to have the freedom to realize it on your own, so they made it a point not to use the phrase until then.
Another hour or so passed while you busied yourself with sudoku, crosswords, or the occasional coin collecting game until you got bored with it. You then moved onto people watching until a notification came in from Instagram.
I’ll be there in about 20 minutes!
You quickly logged out and deleted the Instagram app, tucking the device away safely in the bag as you got up and exited the tower. Walking to the main street, you quickly hailed a cab, double-checking that the cash you swiped a few days ago while Wanda took a shower was still in your pocket. You paid the driver once you were dropped off and went inside the building.
“Brittani?” you called, your lips forming a grin when she faced you. “Hey! How are you?”
“Hey, I’m great!” she replied as she brought you into her embrace, examining you head to toe when she pulled away. “What about you? I have to imagine pretty well...you’re definitely glowing.”
“Really?” you questioned almost sarcastically with an incredulous expression.
“Yeah, you seem happy.”
“Happy to see you as usual,” you told her casually as you looked around the café. “I’m gonna grab a table while you order.”
“You don’t want anything? My treat.”
“Well, I already ate but I’ll take a--”
“Smoothie?” she finished for you with a teasing grin. “I already know which one.”
You laughed and shook your head as you stepped away to find a table far from the street side of the building, not wanting to be seen by anyone that knew your girlfriends. Brittani sat in front of you a few minutes later with her coffee and muffin, handing your smoothie and a straw over and beaming when your hands brushed.
“You know, as happy as I am that you agreed to meet, I’m very surprised to be sitting here with you now.” She glanced at your confused frown and continued. “Even though things didn’t end terribly between us, I’d always assumed you moved so far to get a fresh start and let go of everything in the past or something.”
“I guess in a way I did but...I don’t know.” A heavy sigh left your lips as you turned your attention to your smoothie. “I was pretty depressed when we broke up because I hadn’t been single in so long. I didn’t know how to handle it and every reminder of you made me angry. I’d planned to go even farther away than this.”
“What stopped you?” she questioned curiously, and her gentle tone helped you feel safe enough to meet her gaze again.
“I just thought that if I was going to move anywhere, it should be for me and not because I’m running from something or someone. So I thought a lot about what I really wanted, did some research and somehow ended up in New York.”
“Well I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you,” she confessed as she leaned forward to grab one of your hands. “Breakup or not, we were friends first, and it feels so weird to not have been there for a rough moment in your life.”
“I know, but everything went how it should’ve,” you assured her, laying your other hand on top of hers. “Had you been there, I would’ve tried to be with you again and I never would’ve learned the things about myself that I did.”
“I’m glad it all worked out then. So have you dated since then or…?” Your eyes widened a bit in panic and she quickly pulled her hands away. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to make it weird.”
“No no, it’s okay.” Your own hands shifted back to your smoothie, and you took a sip with a smile. “So, I see you got that promotion you wanted.”
The conversation moved on from there to details about her job, and she explained all the traveling and salary increases that came with it. You found it easy to listen to her, even though you didn’t understand half of what she was saying, simply enjoying the normalcy of it all. Although you were able to find little moments of enjoyment in your insane relationship with Natasha and Wanda, it’d been a while since you just sat in a public place with someone who wasn’t looking over their shoulders for an enemy most of the time. It was nice.
“So then we somehow ended up with 60 pieces of dessert even though we only ordered 20!”
“Britt, I’m not seeing the problem here.”
She cackled loudly in a contagious way that made it so easy to join in. The two of you were so caught up in laughing that neither of you noticed someone approaching your table until you felt a stern hand gripping the back of your neck and Natasha’s cold voice in your ear.
“You have ten seconds to get in the car before I drag you there myself.”

Girls’ Night
This idea has been bouncing in my head for a while mostly as a distraction from doing my other WIPs. It was also originally supposed to be short.... I don’t know what happened 🤷🏼‍♀️
Tumblr media
Summary: After helping Bucky with a rough round of nightmares, you decide that you need to have a Girls’ Night with your friends.
One Shot; 2,478 words
Disclaimer: Bucky, Natasha, and Wanda are not my characters.
Characters: Bucky Barnes, Natasha Romanova, Wanda Maximoff, Female!Reader
Relationships: Bucky x Female!Reader
In the sunlight his hair was a soft chestnut color, but now as you ran your hand through it and wrapped the silky locks between your fingers, the night seemed to darkened it to where someone could mistake it for black, almost as dark as the night sky. You hummed to yourself, imagining what his hair would look like filled with falling stars and circling planets, but then quietened down as you heard his voice start rumbling in his chest, a pained groan building in his throat.
Soon Russian words started falling sharply from his lips. His arms and legs started twitching, his brow furrowing. You quickly grabbed your phone from the side table, pressing the button to open your notes app and started writing down everything that seemed important, like names or locations. It looked as if his nightmare from a couple of hours before was coming back, but this time his dream went more in depth. You were able to pull some ideas of where this “vault” was located, names of people, random words that you think were once used to help program him. It hurt for you to watch him twisting and turning, crying out in pain, it left you feeling helpless even though you knew from experience that waking him up would just make it worse.
The longer it continued you felt a rage start simmering down in the pit of your stomach. It burned as if a coal had finally caught a flicker of a flame and grew until your hands were shaking and you were silently fighting with yourself to stay there with him and not go find the people responsible for his pain.
Once his murmurs turned into more like whimpers and his twitching started to slow, you started whispering sweet nothings into his ear and gently combing his hair back from his sweating face. Slowly, without waking up from his dream, he started to relax back into the bed and eventually you can hear light snores signalling that he has fallen back into a dreamless sleep. Before you slide back into your spot beside him you grab your phone and send a message to Wanda and Natasha. Girls’ Night soon?
Wanda was probably still asleep, seeing as it was around five in the morning, but you weren’t surprised to see three dots flashing. Natasha seemed to have an uncanny sense of when Bucky was having nightmares and always seemed to be awake.
Yes! I’ll bring the nail polish! 💅
You smiled and sent back a gif before turning your phone off and threw it back onto the nightstand. Reaching out to Bucky, you smiled as he unconsciously moved to accommodate you; his arm wrapped around your shoulders and when you tucked yourself into his right shoulder he turned, curling up around you and throwing his metal arm around your waist. You could feel the warm huffs against the top of your head and his usual scent of spice, leather and gunmetal surrounded you. With the sound of his heartbeat in your ear and the warmth of his body seeping into you you close your eyes and drift off into a deep, dreamless sleep.
Tumblr media
You were standing in the kitchen putting together a cheese and cracker plate when you felt two hands circling around from behind you, one warm and soft and the other cool and hard. They wandered under his shirt you were wearing and started creeping upwards slowly with gentle caresses.
Smiling softly, you put the crackers and cheese down to place your hands over his, halting his movement and . “What are you doing, Buck?”
Bucky’s chin dropped onto your shoulder and he whispered into your ear. “Do I really have to go, doll? You know I don’t care about what you all talk about. I’ll even let you and the girls paint my nails.”
You sighed and twisted around so you could stare into his aquamarine-colored eyes, which were trying to pretend to be charming but actually belied his nerves. He always required some more physical reassurance after having a bad bout of nightmares, and as much as you wanted to allow him to stay so you could comfort him you knew that this Girls’ Night was necessary and that he couldn’t be here. To ease some of his discomfort, though, you pulled him towards you and reached up to cup one cheek. He sighed and leaned into it and you watched as some of the tension in his jaw relaxed.
“Baby, I wish you could. If it was any other night it would be fine, but tonight it really has to be just us girls.” Bucky gave a dejected huff and closed his eyes, leaning a little bit more into your hand, “But I will take up your offer to paint your nails. I have a really pretty blue color that would match your eyes.”
When he opened his eyes again you could see a glint of mischievousness flash briefly and before you could blink he had a grip on your thighs and had you up in the air. You squeaked and quickly wrapped your legs around his waist. He laughed and sat you on the counter next to your half-done cheese and cracker plate. You gave him a mock glare and lightly smacked his chest.
“Don’t be like that, Doll,” Bucky crooned. He stepped forwards so that he was standing between your legs, pressed up against you. Leaning forwards, he hovered his lips so that they were a hairsbreadth apart from yours. You got a clear whiff of his favorite cologne and the mint toothpaste he used. “I was just havin’ a bit of fun. We both know how much you like it when I pick you up like the babydoll you are.”
“That’s true, but the girls are going to be here any moment and I still have a lot of stuff to finish getting ready. Also don’t you have to meet Steve and Sam in about 20 minutes anyways? You still have a 15 minute drive, Buck.”
He hummed, pulling your wrist off of his face to read the time on your watch. When he saw that he was going to run late he grumbled but backed off, allowing you to hop down from the counter but close enough that he could keep his hands on your arms in case you lost your balance.
You hurriedly finished up making the plate of appetizers while Bucky begrudgingly went and collected his wallet and keys and then you both met up at the doorway.
“Have fun with Steve and Sam, baby. Call me if you need me,” You say, leaning up to give him a chaste kiss. Before you could step back, though, he snuck a hand into your hair, keeping you close as he proceeded to deepen the kiss. After a few minutes though someone knocked loudly on the door, startling both of you into separating. When you and Bucky gathered enough braincells to answer the door, Natasha and Wanda were standing there, smirking and giggling at the dazed look on both of your faces.
“Come on, Barnes, it’s our turn with Y/N. You can have her later tonight,” Natasha joked, pushing past you and Bucky to place the wine bottles she brought with her on the living room table. Wanda snuck past too, dropping her bag onto the couch before starting to search for wine glasses in the kitchen.
Bucky chuckled, ignoring the two girls as he dropped another kiss onto your lips. “Yeah, yeah, I hear ya. Bye, babydoll, I’m countin’ down the seconds until I come back to you.”
You rolled your eyes but smiled as you heard a mixed chorus of fake gagging and awe-ing behind you. “Go on, Buck, I’ll see you later.”
“Don’t use all of the nail polish, ladies! I look forward to my manicure when I get home!” he shouted as he walked away, smiling brightly as you laughed. You stayed there, leaning against the doorway to watch him until he disappeared on the stairs.
“Hate to see him leave?” Wanda asked as you closed the door and stepped back into the apartment.
“But love to watch him go,” You sighed dreamily. Natasha groaned and threw a pillow at you, causing you and Wanda to break out into laughter.
“Okay, okay! Truce!” You cried, throwing your hands up.
“Fine,” Natasha conceded, “You live to see another day, Y/N… Now, what information did you find the other night?”
As Wanda opened the bottle of wine and set it to the side to let it breathe, you pulled up your notes and explained what Bucky had said during his latest nightmare as well as what you had been able to find from an initial search. Natasha stayed quiet during your explanation, responding with nothing but the occasional nod, and Wanda pulled her laptop out of her bag, starting it up and opening the files you all had compiled and sent them.
At the end of your report Natasha poured the wine into the glasses and took a quick sip. “This place sounds familiar to me, but I’m not 100% sure I have been there. I think maybe they used it as a threat in the Red Room? What were the names he mentioned again?”
When you repeated them, Wanda chimed in with “I think I’ve heard about that place, it’s in Siberia. Pietro and I were almost sent there a couple of times, they told us it was their top training facility.”
“Could you point it out on a map, Wanda?” You asked, quickly pulling up a map of Serbia on your phone.
“I think I could…here let me see.”
Wanda looked over the map and you bit your lip, twisting the wine glass between your fingers, anxious to see if you guys would have a break through.
“Here,” she said, pointing at a spot in the Balkan Mountains, “It’s closer to Serbia and it’s hidden deep inside one of the mountains.”
“I’ll try and see if I can pull some layout plans from the upload you did, Nat,” You said, reaching for Wanda’s laptop. As you did your deep diving into the files, Natasha and Wanda made a quick order for food from the Italian place around the corner.
Right after the food came in and Wanda had refilled all of the glasses, you gave a short cry of triumph and flipped the computer around to show them the layout of the Hydra base, as well as the information needed to get in. The three of you smirked while raising your glasses in a toast, celebrating that for once you were able to get all of the information needed..
The rest of the night was spent making a plan of attack and then double and triple-checking to make sure everything would go as planned.
Tumblr media
You slipped into your apartment silently, placing your heels next to the door and padding softly down the hallway. The whole apartment was dark except for the lights of the busy New York street shining through the window. Using the little bit of light and muscle memory you managed to weave around the furniture, setting your jacket and purse gently on the living room table on your way to your room.
You could see Bucky, sprawled on his side of the bed, body facing the door as if he had tried staying up so he could make sure you got in all right. You sighed, letting your body sag against the door frame briefly even though you winced as your sore muscles ached, a reminder of what you had gotten up to tonight. Even though, originally, it was supposed to be just Wanda and Nat infiltrating the base, you had had to go in to hack some computers. It was just bad luck that those computers were guarded by some giant, beefed up Hydra goon who seemed to be immune to effects of a fucking taser. Needless to say, it was extra satisfying when he did eventually succumb to Natasha’s famous thigh chokehold.
Bucky was snoring lightly, but it seemed as if his sleep would be undisturbed tonight, almost as if his body sensed that one more nightmare was no more. You stepped forwards and cursed loudly as you tripped over his combat boots and went sprawling across the floor. As Bucky startled awake and flipped on the light, you sat there hissing and briefly wondered how satisfying it would be to just throw them in the trash right in the moment.
“Babydoll?” he asked, his voice rough and low as if he were still half asleep, “Is that you?”
“Yeah, it’s me,” you huffed, wincing as you climbed back up,, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you. Go back to sleep, Buck.”
“Don’t worry about it, I was waiting on you anyways.” Bucky pushed himself up the bed and sat back to watch as you started to gather all of your supplies to get ready for bed. “How was your Girls’ Night? Did you get some free drinks tonight?”
“You know it,” you shot back, winking over your shoulder. You heard his breath hitch as you drew your dress up and off, revealing your black lace thong and push up bra. You turned around and before he could say something you know would lead to both of you not getting any sleep that night, you pointed a finger at him and said, “Not a word, buster.”
Bucky raised his hands in the air with an innocent expression on his face that was quickly overtaken by a charming smile, “I wasn’t goin’ to say nothin’, doll….but now that you mention it, that set does looks stunning on you.”
“Ah ah!,” You cried, wagging your finger once more, “It is 2 AM, James Buchanan Barnes, and we are both exhausted. We’re getting some sleep before anything else, ya hear?” Bucky laughed but agreed, sinking further into the bed the closer you got to finishing your nightly routine. By the time you were climbing into bed yourself his eyes his body had sunk into the bed and his eyes were slowly blinking. Once you were comfortably resting on your side facing him he tucked an arm across your waist and pressed his hand between your shoulder blades, pulling you closer to his body until you both were unable to figure out where one started and the other ended.
“I’m glad you had a fun night with the girls, babydoll,” Bucky whispered into your hair groggily.
“Thanks, baby,” You whispered, smiling as you heard the soft huffs of his breath above your head. You kissed the shoulder closest to you and sighed as you sank into the warmth of his body, the bed, and the knowledge that Bucky was now safe from one more nightmare.

“my judgement's clouded like tonight's sky”
in which steve has a little too much to drink and confuses himself even more
a/n: i lost the ask for this request ,,,, pls forgive me for taking so long to do these omg I’ll try to upload as many as i can of the 1d anniversary special one shots this week !!
you weren’t exactly sure what to expect when bucky called you, first you thought oh god did i do something to piss him off and this is the end of me and then you thought is Steve okay?
Your crush on America’s golden boy was nothing short of obvious, small touches and sweet smiles were only scratching the surface of how you acted around steve, always making sure to dress somewhat decent and doing your best to impress him. Steve however was as oblivious as always, he thought that’s how you were with everyone and he was nothing special; plus why would someone as amazing as you settle for him and all his baggage?
You rubbed your eyes as you answered the phone, pausing the show you were watching to listen to bucky on the other end of the line.
“can you please just come get Steve and tell him you’re in love with him” the sergeant groaned and your face flushed.
“what? no!” You shrieked, getting up and turning off your tv. You put the phone on speaker as you quickly tried to find some socks and shoes to quickly slip on.
“y/n he’s been so pathetic all night! going on and on and on about how he will never find love because, and i quote, ‘the one i love will never see me in the same light’” he gagged as he recited Steve’s words. That man did tend to get poetic when he was shit faced.
You smiled as you slipped on your comfiest shoes and picked up your phone, “I’m on my way, but not to tell him i love him” you huffed and hung up before bucky could talk you into anything else.
Music softly hummed through your car as you drove to the compound, you could hear the sound of thunder as you drove, you hoped it didn’t rain before you got back.
As you arrived at the compound you realized how poorly you were dressed, an hoodie way too big for you and fuzzy pants with snowflakes on them, as you passed by a mirror you realized your hair was all over the place and you felt yourself get nervous to see Steve. You quickly walked through the long hallways, following the sound of laughter and music.
Almost the whole team was there as you were now even more embarrassed of your attire. You debated turning on your heel and leaving but Bucky quickly noticed you, curse his super soldier senses.
“y/n! finally, just grab Steve and take him out somewhere please we can’t handle him anymore” he groaned, hugging you and shoving you towards Steve.
“guys y/n is here!” Bucky announced and everyone cheered, getting up to hug you and thank you, just by looked at nats tired eyes and Tony’s sigh you laughed at how miserable they must have been to hears Steve ramble on for an hour.
“alright wheres the golden retriever” you sighed and they all pointed at the bar, and sure enough there he was pouring himself another asgardian drink. You quickly jogged over and swatted the drink from his hand before he could down it.
“nope, I’m cutting you off right now” you stated, grabbing his arm and dragging him away from the bar, you could feel him wanting to resist (you were glad he didn’t because you didn’t stand a chance) but he eventually gave in and followed you.
“y/n! what are you doing here” he smiled, his eyes slightly hooded as he followed you, shaking your head you mumbled “probably making a bad choice” you sighed, saying goodbye to everyone as you and Steve walked back to your car.
“where are we going? can we go to your apartment and i can make that lego set you haven’t finished” he giggled and you rolled your eyes at him for teasing you, “you’ll see” you mumbled quickly opening the car door and shoving him in, putting his seatbelt on for him and he gave you a kiss on the cheek.
You flushed red and quickly shut the door, getting into your seat and driving away from the compound.
“Bucky tells me you’ve been yapping all night” you say, seeing Steve roll his eyes at the mention of his best friend. “Bucky doesn’t understand me” he states, and you can’t help but burst into laughter.
He looks at you confused and you wave him off, “you sound like an emo teen” you giggled and he huffs, “I’m not” he complains and you hum as he crosses his arms across his chest.
“where are we going” he asked as you drive past your apartment, “to a park” you state simply and he furrows his brows.
“you won’t be drunk in about 20 minutes give or take and i need you to be sober when i tell you everything” his face is laced with confusion as he looks at you and then back out the window.
By the time you get to the park 15 minutes have passed and you can tell he’s starting to sober up as he flips through your music settling on the same song he skipped four times before looking out the window again.
“okay we’re here” you smiled and Steve got out of the car quickly after you, walking slightly behind you as you took him to the swings.
“why are we at a set of swings in the middle of the night?” Steve asked, raising a brow and you just smiled softly.
“i come here to think all the time, it’s nice to just swing and let everything go, i think you should try it” you encouraged him as he seemed apprehensive of the idea before you sighed.
“I’ll start then,” you breathed in deeply before starting, “i worry too much that i won’t be enough for the people i love, i think too much and talk myself out of being brave because i think i don’t fit the role” you mumbled and turn to look at Steve who was listening intently, as you started again he stared up at the sky, dark clouds covering the bright moon.
“your turn” you whispered and he nodded.
“I’m too indecisive about the things i want.” he simply stated and you swung lightly, staring at your feet as you encouraged Steve to continue. “I know what i want, i know who i want, but my judgements clouded” he grumbled, “like tonight’s sky” you added with a smile and he let out a breathy laugh, nodding his head in agreement.
“Bucky told you what i was upset about didn’t he” Steve sucked in a sharp breath before looking at the moon and then back at you, who nodded softly.
“and?” He asked, voice soft and slightly trembling.
“and i think whoever it is, most definitely sees you in the same light mr. America” you teased and he laughed, crinkling his nose at the nickname.
“do you?” he quickly looked at you and you nodded, “yes stevie boy i just said that i do” you laughed, quirking a brow at him and checking to see if somehow he was still drunk.
“no i mean- what i meant was do you see me how i see you” his blue eyes piercing into your side as you quickly set both feet down, causing an abrupt stop to your calm swinging.
You opening your mouth to say something but nothing came out, your mind going a million places at once and you weren’t sure what to say, ‘yes Steve I’ve loved since the day you bought my beta fish a bigger tank because you knew how badly i wanted to have a themed aquarium but couldn’t afford it’ or the deep poetic course ‘of course i do, how could i not when your the light that helps me through all my dark times.’ In the end it was neither.
“we’re under the same moon” was all you came up with and you have never hated yourself more. You could almost hear Steve’s heart crack and you quickly got up and cupped his face in your hands, pressing your lips together and squeezing your eyes shut. He took no time to return the kiss, quickly putting his arms around your waist.
You pulled away breathless, red and scared, you didn’t know what the hell was gonna happen now, before either of you could say anything steve pulled you in again kissing you again, this time softer and with a small smile; then a loud crack of thunder causing you to jump forward, you teeth hitting each other as rain poured onto the two of you.
Both of you burst into a fit of laughter as you went back in for another kiss, Steve effortlessly lifted you up and ran to your car for cover, he set you down softly as you reached into your pocket for your keys, quickly unlocking the car and both of you hurrying in.
It was quiet, with only the pitter patter of the rain outside and the thumping of your hearts.
“does this mean you do like me?” Steve asked innocently and you turned to look at him with wide eyes, “obviously!” You laughed and he blushed, nodding his head with a small smile on his face. “now what?” He asked as you drove away from the park and to your apartment.
“now you stop acting like you’re in a Shakespeare play everytime theres asgardian shots” you teased and he rolled his eyes, intertwining your fingers together as the two of you headed back to figure the rest out.

Chapter 24:
Sure enough... It wasn't much of a quicky. Bucky and Y/N ended up at their friends house a good 30 minutes later than everyone else, and it did NOT go unnoticed.
After coming out to the crowd at the gala about their relationship, they figured it was time to confess to their friend group as well.
But after Nat said, "Good God, it took you long enough. I've been waiting close to a month for you guys to finally say something." They realized that their little secret wasn't much of a secret at all.
Bucky had moaned and groaned as the boys hassled him for waiting so damn long, and Y/N and the girls immediately started talking details as they sat around the fire in Wanda and Visions back yard. The night was simple, intimate, and a great memory compared to the annoyance that happened at the ball.
All of that was quickly left in the back of their minds after they had their sweet friend group gathering. Time together like that always gave them a little reboot when the world seemed to be going too fast. Who better to slow down with than your best friends?
3 Months later.
"Babe?" Y/N shouted from the front door as she came home from work.
"In my room!" he shouted back.
Bucky had been working at home more often because things had calmed down in the business. He never REALLY had to go in as much as he had to before, but being the good boss he was, he made sure to be present. Now, he was trying to find things to help with the No Soldier Left Behind center more, so it was easier to just set up shop in his room where he had a mini office to the side, and not have to worry about people distracting him.
"Hey," Y/N smiled as she leaned her head into the room.
Bucky looked up from his computer and sent her the same grin she was giving him.
"Hey gorgeous," he chuckled when she didn't come in fully. "You just going to hang out by the door, or are you going to come in and give me a 'Honey, I'm home' kiss?" he teased.
"I actually have a surprise for you," she said with a wider grin, but one that showed she was up to something. Bucky knew that smile a little too well.
"What did you do?" he questioned slowly pushing his chair back going to stand.
"Wait! Stay right there!" she shook her head, but her hands were behind her showing whatever the surprise was was behind her back. "First, I got flowers for the week," she said, bringing a bouquet of her weekly flowers out. "One of your favorites. Baby breath, lavender, and daisies."
"Thanks sweetheart. That's sweet, but why do I feel like another boot is about to drop?" he probed, tilting his head as he put his hands on the arms rest and leaned back. He wanted to stand and go to her, but she told him to not move, so here he was.
"Well, that's the second part of the surprise..." she said tilting her head more and scrunching her nose.
Damn that nose scrunch! She knew what that did to him.
"Y/N..." he drug out.
"Just close your eyes real quick-"
"Y/N."
"Please! Please! I promise it's a good thing!"
"You said that last time and I ended up with a face mask on and my hair in two french braids."
"Don't act like you didn't like it," she scoffed with a small rolling of her eyes. "You love spa night."
"Sam found out and said I lost a piece of my man card," he crossed his arms.
"No, you gained a piece because you're secure in your masculinity unlike 99% of men out there," she countered. "Forget that for now though! Close your eyes."
"I don't know what I'm getting myself into-"
"That's the best part!" she shouted with a loud sigh, "Close your eyes or else Buck." The last part was said with a hint of a threatening tone was all it took Bucky to surrender. He put his hands up before crossing them again and doing as she asked.
He wanted to peak and he was so close to doing it, but right when he was about to break she giggled.
"Ok, open 'em!"
Bucky wouldn't have even come close to guessing what was sitting in front of him. Outstretched in her arms was a white cat with even bluer eyes than him. His hair wasn't long, but it wasn't short, and he had a big bushy tail. He looked as if he was kinda small for a cat given he wasn't a kitten.
"You got a c-"
"A cat!" she jumped pulling the white furball back into her arms and cradling it as he purred to her.
Bucky didn't know how to react. He never had a pet growing up, and even if he were to, he imagined it would've been a dog. Not a cat. Cats always seemed so temperamental and angsty. But the way this one was looking at him made him second guess his quick judgement.
"Don't be mad. There was a girl trying to get rid of him by the shop where I usually get my flowers. She said it was either someone buy him from her, or she would have to take him to the shelter," Y/N was quick to explain. "I knew we would treat him right compared to another stranger on the street, and if someone didn't get him at the shelter they would probably put him down." The small pout on her lips and the longing look of the cat was all it took Bucky to let out his breath he was holding in and lean back in his chair.
"Ok."
"Wait... You're not mad?" she asked, turning her head to the side.
"No. You were just being you," he chuckled standing up and placing a kiss on her forehead.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she said furrowing her eyebrows.
"All good things Sassy. I mean you being you because you constantly are trying to help people, and apparently," he looked down at the cat who gave a loud purr where she was rubbing his tummy. "Animals too."
"Awe, Buck!" she smiled putting the cat down and jumping to hug him around the neck. "You're the best!"
"I know, I know," he laughed as he pulled her into him. "Hey, how about pasta for dinner tonight? I already have the meatballs ready to go."
"Oh, yeah. I've been craving Italian all day. It's like you know me really well or something."
"I know it's crazy, right?" he said looking down at her with a joking grin. "Come on you loon," he said, giving her a quick squeeze to the hip before walking toward the kitchen.
"I'm not a loon," she mumbled following him. "Wait!" she said jumping and bouncing on his back. He was quick to catch her and let out a laugh as he piggy backed her to the kitchen.
"A loon," he chuckled squeezing her calves.
______
Halfway through their meal, Bucky caught Y/N looking around as if inspecting the apartment.
The cat had curled up in the chair next to him having already taken a liking to the man of the house. Bucky every once in a while giving him a scratch on his ear, but still not really sure about the pet just yet.
"Ok, what in the world are you doing?" he finally asked as she furrowed her eyebrows in concentration for the 100th time in the past 15 minutes.
"Nothing, nothing," she shook her head with a light chuckle before snagging a piece of garlic bread.
"That's not nothing. You've been in one of your dream worlds for the past 5 minutes. I can see it in your eyes," he jestered, filling their wine glasses again. "Are you redecorating the house in your head again?"
"Well..."
"Y/N you literally changed the entire layout of the living room just 2 days ago." He couldn't hold back that laugh.
"Ok, but hear me out!" she shouted forgetting her meal and leaning forward with her leg propped up next to her. "How long do you plan on living here?"
"You mean the flat?"
"Yeah," she nodded.
"Uh, I mean I don't know. I haven't really thought about it," he shrugged, grabbing his wine and relaxing in his chair. "I own it now, so I could sell it anytime."
"Have you ever wanted to live somewhere else?" she questioned propping her chin in her hand as she watched him intently.
"Uh," he paused really thinking about it. I guess if he had a choice he did have a place he always imagined. "Upstate New York actually. I always imagined still being close to friends, but far enough out of the city it would be quite at night. No city lights making the night sky disappear, but instead being able to point out constellations and star gaze. I would have some land, a nice big house, and hell, maybe even a place I can build on and landscape some. I've always wanted to look into that stuff."
He hadn't even realized he was rambling about his dream world, until he finally looked up at Y/N who had a soft smile painted on her lips and admiration in her eyes.
"That sounds beautiful B," was all she said.
Bucky smiled before taking a big sip of his wine. "It's all a dream though. That would be a lot of work to get there, and I'm not sure something like what I want even exist."
"Who says you can't make it exist?"
He looked up at the comment and Y/N was gingerly taking a sip of her own wine as she kept eye contact with him.
"What else do you have up your sleeve today, doll?" he said with a challenging look.
"Oh Buck. It's funny you think it's just today," she stood grabbing her finished plate and his. "I always have something up my sleeve. Every. Day." With that, she sashayed her hips to the sink with a smirk on her lips.
But Bucky was two steps behind, and as soon as the dishes were no longer in her hands, he was already picking her up.
"Tell me what's going on in that beautiful mind of yours Y/N!" he said fake biting at her shoulder, neck, and ear getting a laughing fit out of her.
"B, put me down!" she shouted as she tried to stop laughing, but his hands were already working their way under her shirt and tickling her stomach too. "Bucky!"
"Tell me!"
"Ok, ok! Put me down!'
He relented, sorta. He placed her to sit on the island, and then put his hands on either side of her thighs as he trapped her in. She wasn't leaving anytime soon if he had a say. Gently and ever so lovingly she leaned forward placing her forehead on his and smiled. Bucky loved when she did this cause it was intimate in a whole other way. It was like she was opening that mind of hers and letting him peak inside it.
"How do you feel about moving in together?" she whispered.
Bucky chuckled a little, but didn't move. "I'd say we seem to have already've done that."
"What about into your dream home? Our dream home?"
"What are you getting at Y/N/N?" he said, finally pulling back enough to see her face. He sweetly pulled some stray hair behind her ears as he kept eye contact with her.
"I mean... What if we moved in with each other for REAL, and got our dream house together? How would you feel about that?" Her big doe eyes were captivating and practically asking Bucky to give them the world.
All he could do was let that lopsided grin he only gave to her, grow on his face.
"I would say that sounds like an even better dream than I could imagine."

10 Things I hate about you (7)
Summary: Inspired by the movie of the same title. Some lines will be direct quotes from the movie. Story follows movie’s plot.
Warnings: cursing, underage drinking, party scene
A/N: Next chapter will be back to social media format!
Tumblr media
By the time Y/N arrives at the party, it’s in full swing. Drunk girls hanging off guys, music playing, and people dancing. It’s the stereotypical high school party. She can’t help but be in shock that she’s actually in a cliche like this. Her sister better be really grateful.
Brock is here, and sadly her sister likes the douchebag. But Nat doesn’t know the past between Y/N and Brock, despite being sisters they’re not close enough to talk about their lives. It was mostly just bickering and snippy remarks.
“You look, good baby,” Y/N hears the asshole say and turns around.
“The fuck you want Brock?” She turns to leave.
“Don’t go babydoll.”
“Gross, leave me alone.”
“Where’s your hot sister, Y/N?”
“Leave her alone too.”
“Bet that’s not what she wants,” he says with a disgusting smirk. She walks away not wanting to be apart of this conversation any longer than you have to. She goes to get a soda and returns to the room to see Nat snuggled up against Brock.
“Guess someone wanted to see me.” He says and turns to walk away.
“Wait, Nat. Can I talk with you?” Nat looks pissed but steps away from Brock to talk to her sister.
“What do you want?” Nat snaps.
“There’s something you should know about Brock,” Y/N warns.
“Unless it’s how cute he is, leave me alone.” With that Natasha walks back to Brock and they leave the room. Y/N is annoyed, and slightly concerned for her sister and grabs a shot from the kitchen and downs it before processing what she’s really doing. She manages to down two more before a strong arm grabs her wrist.
“What the fuck Y/N, since when do you drink?” Bucky asks.
“Since I’m at a party I don’t want to be at, and my sister is hanging out with the worst guy ever. Leave me alone Bucky, I don’t know you.” She pushes away and leaves Bucky perplexed. Why did he suddenly care what the hell a girl is doing?
On the other side of the house is Steve walking over to where he sees Nat and Wanda.
“Hey Natasha,” Steve says shyly rubbing his neck.
“Hi, Steve. Have you met Wanda?”
“Uh- no. Hey,” he says awkwardly.
“We have science together right?” Wanda asks.
“Oh, yeah.” It’s silent stiffly for a moment.
“You uh- look good,” Steve says to Natasha and she blushes slightly.
“Course she looks good, she always does,” Brock says entering the room and both girls giggle at the guy. “C’mon girls let’s go see what’s up around the house.”
“Bye Steve,” Nat says before leaving with Brock. Steve is a little bummed, Nat still prefers that douchebag over him.
Natasha has been listening to Brock drawl on for 20 minutes about himself. She realizes this is one of the first times they’ve actually had a full conversation, and it’s boring. All she can think of is Steve’s goofy behavior, and wonders if he’s more interesting than this self-conceited guy. Brock is so engrossed in himself, she’s able to slip away without him noticing she’s gone. She finds Wanda.
“This party sucks,” she tells the other redhead.
Bucky looks around for Y/N. He shouldn’t have let her run off earlier if she really doesn’t drink then it’s not safe for her to be drinking in a house party. When he finds her, it’s because she’s standing on a table, drunk, dancing.
“Finally, she acts like a real fucking girl!” Brock exclaims and eyes the girl dancing. Bucky rushes to get her down only to end up catching her as she missteps. He’s not quick enough to help her from hitting her head against the wall though.
“I think you need some air,” he declares.
“You caught me!” She giggles. He never thought he’d hear this girl giggle. She must have a concussion.
“Okay, drunky! Let’s go outside.” He laughs.
“Mmkay. Can I sleep though, I’m tiredddd!” Y/N whines.
“No doll, can’t sleep if you might have a concussion,” Bucky states.
“Well, that’s not fair!” Bucky laughs at this. They find a seat on a bench outside and Steve comes over.
“Can we talk?” Steve asks.
“Kinda dealing with something,” Bucky says motioning to the drunk maybe concussed girl who can’t seem to sit up by herself.
“It’s off. There’s no point in doing all this! She wants that asshole Brock, not some dumb guy like me. Why did I think she would ever go for someone like me. She’s the most popular girl here!” Steve rambles.
“Hey. No. Do you like her?”
“... Yes,” Steve admits.
“Then this is worth it. Brock is a fucking jerk, and she’s gonna see that. When she does, she’ll realize how great you are. Have some fucking confidence. Okay? Now I gotta deal with her so,” Bucky tells him and picks up Y/N to help her get to the car.
“God, you’re so condescending. Think you’re such tough shit.” Y/N babbles as they walk.
“Only you would use big words while hammered. Kinda endearing.” Bucky points out.
“I hate you. Why are you even driving me home?”
“Gotta make sure you’re okay.”
“But whyyyy?” she whines.
“Who would I bicker with without you?”
“Probably nobody. Don’t know who’d pay you the time of day.”
“See! Such sweetness. Wouldn’t wanna throw that away,” Bucky laughs. You smile back, too far gone to worry about the mask you usually have on.
“So why did Brock get to you? Bucky asks in a more serious tone.
“I shouldn’t, right!” you say standing up and slightly swaying before getting your footing. “Break me once, shame on you! Wait- that’s not the saying.” she giggles and Bucky just stares confused.
“What’s that mean?” he asks but she’s too drunk to even notice.
“You have such pretty hair,” she gushes and tugs his strands. “Bucky with the good hair!” Y/N giggles before getting nauseous and completely losing her entire stomach contents on his Doc Martens.
“Time to get you home!” he declares grossed out.
Nat is left alone at the party, Wanda’s brother took her home and she was too pissed at her sister to even locate her. She went looking for Brock, hoping he would give her a ride. When she found him, though he was surrounded by his asshole friends.
“Hey Natty! We’re going to Killians to finish this party, you coming?” she sighed. This night had shone her how boring Brock was, and the last thing she wanted was to spend another couple hours with him. Plus she had to be back before curfew or her father would kill her.
“I got curfew! So sad,” she said sarcastically. She would have to call her dad for a ride home, and that sucked.
“Your loss, babydoll,” Brock said and the words left her feeling gross.
Steve was just leaving when he saw Natasha standing alone.
“Have fun?” He asked.
“Loads,” she said rolling her eyes.
“Need a ride, babydoll?” he said laughing at the nickname.
“Gross, don’t even repeat it! But yes please.”
Bucky and Y/N are in the car on the way home. She’s still partially drunk, enough where she can speak what’s on her mind without worrying what everyone else says.
“I wish I could be this,” she ponders picking up a book on the floor of his car.
“An author?” he asks.
“No, a book,” she laughs sarcastically. “Yeah be an author. Bet dad would love that,” she grumbles.
“Didn’t take you as the kind to care what your daddy says,” Bucky points out.
“You hang out with me like once and think you know me,” Y/N grumbles. “Males are annoying,” she mutters.
“I’m trying to get to know you. You’re making it incredibly hard though!”
“All anyone knows about me is that I’m shrill,” she sighs solemnly.
“What a pair we are,” he says in a similar tone. The two of them share eye contact and Bucky feels something. It’s more than what he should for this being just a service he’s paid for.
“So your dad? What’s the deal?” he asks.
“Wants me to be what I’m not.”
“Like what?”
“Like Natasha,” she shrugs. They pull into her driveway and remain seated.
“So like, I get that everyone is in love with her. But I don’t get it, she’s just a girl. Not sure the obsession,” Bucky adds. Y/N looks at him again. Everybody always prefers her sister. Why have the complex bitch when you can have the cute girl next door? It’s the first time anyone has liked her more than her sister, and it leaves her stomach in knots.
“Everybodys got you all wrong,” she decides. In a moment she’ll blame the amount of alcohol in her head, she leans in wanting to kiss Bucky. But Bucky pulls away and taps his hands against the wheel.
“I should get home,” he says. Y/N gets up and slams the car door angerly. The first guy she’s let herself like in years doesn’t want to kiss her. What the hell is wrong with her? She doesn’t even bother to look back as Bucky pulls out of the driveway.
Slightly later on Steve and Natasha pull in to the driveway too. Steve breaks the silence.
“You never really wanted to date me, did you?”
“I did!” she squeaks out. It’s obvious she’s lying.
“No, you didn’t,” he sighs.
“No, I didn’t,” she repeats.
“You could’ve just told me that. God, have you always been this self-centered?”
“Yes,” she mumbles in such a low volume he barely catches it.
“Just because you’re hot, and have that amazing hair doesn’t mean you can just stomp all over people. I mean, I do have feelings. I like you, like a lot. And this whole time you were just messing with me. It’s unfair. You shou-” Steve rambles but is cut off. Nat meets his lips in a kiss. It’s the most innocent thing, and lasts all of 5 seconds but he doesn’t care. The two part dumbstruck and she smiles before leaving the car, practically skipping back to her house.
“I can definitely do that all day,” Steve smiles to himself shamelessly.

Um, I Don’t Think So
Request/Synopsis: Reader is Tony Stark’s daughter and secretly dating Peter. One day, they accidentally let it slip that they’re together.
Warnings: Swearing
Pairings: Stark!Reader x Peter Parker
A/N: I love this, that’s all I gotta say. In this, Pepper is the reader’s mother! Also, Peter’s such a lovable dork, he deserves the world. Anywho, as always, gif isn’t mine and my inbox is always open! xx Enjoy!
Tumblr media
You found yourself launched into a complicated situation once again. Your boyfriend, Peter, had now officially-unofficially joined the Avengers and was being mentored by your dad in jus about every possible way. You loved their closeness, really, you did. You know your dad was extremely important to Peter in so many ways, having lost his father figure a while ago. So, your dad took him under his wing, making him a new suit and helping him buckle in for life as a superhero.
Of course, there was one thing that tainted this perfect image. Your dad didn’t exactly know about your relationship. No one did, really. It was a huge secret that would definitely end in a long talk with your father about boys and your mom would probably pester you into telling her everything. You loved your parents dearly, but you weren’t sure you were ready to introduce Peter as your boyfriend to your family and the team just yet.
“You seem lost in thought,” Natasha grinned, her face mask cracking as she did so, “Definitely about a boy.”
“Oooh, do tell,” Wanda sat upright, dropping the magazine she was reading.
You scoffed, turning away, thankful that the charcoal face mask you had on covered your blushing, “I’m not thinking about a boy.” You loved your girls nights with Wanda and Natasha dearly, but damn, these girls were observant.
“Oh, come on, Y/N, you know you can’t lie to us,” Wanda said with a knowing look, raising her eyebrow. One thing you hated about her observance was that she had a habit of looking inside your head to see what was up. You had told her off countless times, but you’re almost certain she still did it from time to time. One of the reasons she was impossible to lie to. You were surprised she didn’t let slip you and Peter were dating, you were almost certain she knew.
“I’m not!” You defended, “Why would I even be thinking about a guy anyways, I’m too busy watching Judge Judy.” You played it off, shrugging your shoulders and turning back to the TV as Nat chuckled.
“I’m practically the definition of liar, honey,” she remarked, “I know when I see one.”
You rolled your eyes, turning back to face her, “C’mon, don’t you think that if there was a guy you two would be the first people to know?” Nat and Wanda exchanged a glance, shrugging slightly, “Besides, you know my dad doesn’t let me go 20 feet near a guy who isn’t an Avenger anyways.”
“It’s Steve!” Wanda pointed a finger at you, and you choked back a laugh.
“Steve?! What? He’s like, a hundred years old,” you laughed at her accusation, and Nat rolled her eyes, realizing that that was absurd.
Wanda realized it too and shrugged, leaning back down on the bed and picking up the magazine she was reading previously, scanning through the pages once again. Nat got up and walked to the bathroom, taking the towel out of her hair, so you turned your attention back to the television, watching Judge Judy roast some stupid people arguing about a car. You felt a buzz in your back pocket and pulled your phone out, fighting a blush when you read the message.
Spider Boy - Hey, babe, your dad invited me for dinner at the compound tonight so I’ll see you then, love you. xo
You grinned to yourself, already excited to see him, and quickly sent a reply.
Can’t wait, love you. x
You rushed to the bathroom and took off your face mask, feeling incredibly satisfied when you could move your face easily once again.
“Sorry, guys, dad texted me, gotta go see him, bye!” You rushed out the door, waving to the two girls who looked puzzled but didn’t get a chance to say anything before you were rushing down the hall to your room. The drive for Peter was about an hour and a half, and you wanted to get ready right away.
“Hey, kiddo,” You nearly ran straight into your dad while turning the corner as he stood in front of your door, “Dinner tonight, everyone’s coming, just letting you know. We need a good... bonding experience after what’s happened recently.”
You nodded quickly, excitement running through your veins, “Of course, I understand totally!” You turned the doorknob to open it, stepping inside your gorgeous room. The large queen sized bed sat next to the massive floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water, the Manhattan skyline in the distance. You rushed to your closet, throwing off your baggy sweatshirt (that was actually Peter’s but no one had to know) and shorts, scanning through your closet to find something to wear.
You pulled out a pair of jeans and a lace tank top, not wanting to seem too over the top or else people would get suspicious. As soon as you got dressed and started analyzing yourself in the mirror, your phone buzzed from the bed. You rushed over as saw you had a new text.
Natasha - You took off quickly, girlie, you know we weren’t done with questions!
You rolled your eyes, smiling slightly before answering the nosy redhead.
Dad needed me! Dinner with the whole squad tonight, gotta prepare. No more questions!
You threw your phone back down on the bed, rushing to the bathroom to put on some makeup. Once you were done, you took your hair down from the bun it was in and grabbed your phone, rushing out to the living room. It had only taken you half an hour to get ready, so you still had to wait at least another half. You walked over to the couch and noticed Bucky and Sam arguing over what to watch as your mom, dad, and Bruce were cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
“Sam, I swear to god, I am going to knock your teeth out,” Bucky let out a frustrated groan as Sam changed the channel once again.
“I am sick of watching freakin’ National Geographic documentaries, man!” Sam reached for the remote as Bucky changed it once again. You let out a small laugh, thoroughly entertained by these two. They acted like brothers, and to you, they felt like brothers. You were forever blessed to have these people surrounding you.
“Y/N, come on, would you rather watch a show about bugs or ESPN?” Sam looked over to you, causing you to raise your hands in surrender.
“Not my argument, boys,” you shook your head, causing Sam to groan and Bucky to defend himself.
“It wasn’t a show about bugs, you dipshit!”
You were about to reply that you’d rather watch bugs than sports, but your dad announcing Peter’s arrival made all of your attention turn to the front door, where Peter stood with flowers in his hand. He was wearing a button up shirt and dress pants, a little bowtie around his neck. He looked absolutely adorable, and if this relationship wasn’t a secret, you’d run up and plant little kisses all over his face. Your dad greeted him with a firm pat on the back and welcomed him in, but his eyes were fixed on you. You hated this secret thing, wanting nothing more than to greet him properly, but you knew it was for the best.
“Who are the flowers for, kid? Me?” Sam asked, making Peter blush slightly as he shook his head, laughing awkwardly.
“You wish,” he responded, making Sam act offended, “They’re for you, Mrs Stark, thank you for the dinner invitation,” Peter walked over to your mother, handing her a gorgeous bouquet of roses and sunflowers, which to you was the most beautiful combination of flowers you could get. Your mother awed at the gesture, pulling Peter in for a hug. You felt your heart melt, loving how your parents got along with your boyfriend. Your dad nodded in approval, helping your mom find a vase for the flowers as Peter walked up to you, taking a seat next to you on the couch.
“Hey, Y/N,” he smiled at you, taking your breath away at how gorgeous this little dork was.
“Hey, Peter,” you replied, looking away when you realized Sam and Bucky were watching your interaction, not wanting to be suspicious or obvious.
“Parker, would you rather watch a show on bugs or sports?” Sam asked, leaning forward as if he were interrogating Peter, making you roll your eyes, looking over to Peter who seemed a little confused, “Actually, forget it, you’re a bug, of course you’re biased.” You felt yourself laughing, looking over to Peter who didn’t know what to say, nodding awkwardly. Sam let out a groan of defeat and turned the channel back to Nat Geo, making Bucky let out a ‘humph’ of triumph.
As the two continued bickering, Peter leaned over to you, whispering in your ear, “You look beautiful, babe.” You felt your cheeks heat up and you looked over to him, smiling shyly.
“You look pretty damn good yourself, Parker,” you whispered back with a little wink, making him grin.
Within the next hour, all of the Avengers had piled into the dining room and you were all seated around the long glass table, the food making your stomach grumble louder than you had expected. You didn’t eat lunch, so that explains it. You sat between your dad and Wanda, who was being embarrassingly flirty with Vision sitting next to her. Peter sat across from her and your mother across from you.
Everyone dug in immediately, the smell and look of the layout being too tempting to hold off on. You could hear Bucky and Sam arguing over potatoes at the end of the table, resulting in Steve scolding them like children, making you giggle.
“Um, anyone want a drink? I’m getting up,” Peter announced, standing up and looking around the table, waiting for a reply. Everyone mumbled a ‘thanks, I’m good.’
“I’ll actually have glass of water, thanks, if you don’t mind,” you smiled up at Peter and he nodded.
“Sure thing, babe.”
Oh, no. Fuck. Shit.
Please, please, can no one have heard that?
You felt your heart completely stop as your eyes widened, looking at Peter who went completely white. It was as if time had slowed, everyone stopping what they were doing to see if they had heard correctly, and based on both your reactions, they did.
“Babe?” Your dad questioned, placing his knife down as he looked between the two of you, “Uh, I don’t think so. Please tell me he didn’t say babe.” Your mom’s mouth dropped, looking over at you with a confused expression. Oh, God. This was not how you wanted them to find out.
“O-Of course not, M-Mr Stark,” Peter laughed awkwardly, waving his hands, “Why - Why would I call her babe?”
You dropped your head, Peter’s nervous stuttering being a dead giveaway of the fact that you two were in fact a thing. You lifted your head once again when you heard your dad’s chair pull away from the table, standing up. You rushed to your feet as well, eyes wide.
“Dad, calm down,” you pleaded quietly, placing a hand on his shoulder. Your heart went from being dead still to racing out of your chest. Peter looked absolutely terrified.
“Calm down? How do you expect me to-” he took a deep breath, “What’s going on between you two?”
You wanted to answer, you really did, but as soon as he asked the question, your voice left you, and you looked to Peter.
“U-Um, we’re, uh, dating, Mr. Stark,” he mumbled quietly, looking down to his feet before looking back up. From where your hand was placed on your dad’s shoulder, you could feel him tense up. You knew he was mad, his breaths coming out slightly shaky as your mom placed a hand on his from where she was sitting, looking down at her plate.
You heard Nat mumble an ‘I told you so’ to Wanda, realizing that telling them today would have probably helped how bad you felt right now.
Your dad turned to face you, and you felt awful, “Dad, I’m so sorry for keeping this from you, I-”
“How long has this been going on?”
You were surprised by how intensely he cut you off, but you swallowed your nerves, “Around six months.”
“Six - Wow, six months, nice,” he laughed sarcastically, “You’re my daughter, you’re not supposed to lie to me.”
You suddenly felt very aware that the entire team was watching and listening to you guys, but you didn’t really care, your dad’s anger being the only thing you wanted to deal with, “I know, dad, I’m so, so sorry, believe me, I am. I wanted to tell you as soon as it happened, believe me, but this is going so well and I was terrified of telling you and mom, I’ve never really done this dating thing before, you guys know that, and I really, really care about Peter and I didn’t want you guys to flip out, I was waiting for the right moment.”
You dad chuckled, “The right moment? It’s been six fucking months, you’ve had loads of right moments.” You felt your heart break, and as you opened your mouth to respond, Peter’s voice beat yours.
“If I may, Mr. Stark, she’s telling the truth, she was always talking about how awful she felt hiding this from you, she refers to the two of you as her best friends,” you heard Natasha mumble an ‘ouch’ before Peter continued, “But believe me, I love your daughter, more than I could ever tell her, and I would die trying to protect her, you need to know that this isn’t just a teenager fling, or whatever, I’m in love with her.”
You felt all the air leave your lungs as he said that last sentence, looking right into your eyes, letting you feel all of the emotions he could possibly express towards you in that moment. It was almost as if everyone else in the room had faded away, the two of you sharing this extremely intimate moment. But then you remembered that everyone was sharing this moment with you.
“Aw, shit, you can’t be mad at him after that, Tony,” Sam exclaimed from the other end of the table, cutting the sweet moment short as your dad turned to him with a death glare, his expression softening as he looked to you once again.
“I’m mad, yes, I can’t believe you totally disobeyed my orders about not dating anyone on the team,” he said softly, coming to his senses.
You gave him a mischievous smile, “I’m a Stark, we don’t listen to what people want us to do.” You were immediately engulfed in a hug, your mother rushing around the table to join in as you laughed, the rest of the team letting out an ‘awe.’
You pulled away from them and smiled at Peter, who stood there awkwardly, but you could tell he was extremely relieved, the colour returning to his face and his shoulders much more relaxed. He looked over at your dad, nodding.
“Well, Peter, I guess if I had to pick anyone for my daughter to date, I’m glad it’s you,” your dad smiled at him as your mom rushed to the other side of the table to hug Peter, mumbling something about ‘love birds.’
Everything seemed to fall right into place, you could be open about your relationship with the boy you loved, and everyone on the team seemed overjoyed. Steve grinned proudly, Natasha shot you a wink and a thumbs up, sending you a text saying ‘We need to talk!’, Sam and Bucky smirked at Peter, who rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, Clint placed a hand over his heart, muttering about young love, and your dad sat next to you, smiling proudly as he realized that you were with someone good, someone that he knew would take care of you.
You sat back down, a sigh leaving your body as the cat was finally out of the bag, “Anyways, Parker, I’ll have that water now, thanks.”

The Report Card – Fantasy High Sophomore Year Ep 15
Love Wins!
Welcome to an insanely chaotic episode of Fantasy High--even by the very high standards of this show.  How chaotic you may ask? Well, the first thing that happens is that Bill Seacaster point blank shoots Gilear to death for being in a relationship with Hilariel. Full dead. He is full dead. Strangely, his plan to bring him back as a janky devil does not do much to comfort Fig. Imagine that.
Bill’s pirates are looting the Bottomless Pit (Gorthalax’s domain in Hell) and Vraz orders Fig to make them stop. When she instead orders Vraz to eat her ass, Vraz nullifies all warlock deals Gorthalax made and brings none other than Johnny Spells (and his greaser pals) to join the fight!
Really, this fight is insane and it’s better served by a highlight real than a play by play so I’m just gonna give you some bullets:
All the PCs rolled super low initiative this fight which really kinda screwed them. Like Fabian was down to 16 HP one point and it was like, “Lol, this is the end of round 1.” YIKES.
A big part of this fight was just surviving long enough to get to the second level of hell and rescue Riz’s dad which I think was probably good for morale because the thought of this fight dragging on for more than a couple of rounds exhausts me.
Fabian rolls off against Johnny right off the bat for the Hangman’s loyalty and Fabian wins with a 25 (and by coming out the gate with the word ENSLAVED which isn’t the word *I* would have used but a 25 is a 25 I guess).
He also has to contend with fighting Allistair who has a massive hole in his head filled with fire from Wicklaw eating his brain. It seems like Chungledown Bim is in hell too based on how Allistair keeps saying he’s gonna get him so he can shit in Fabian’s mouth. Of course, Fabian gets the better of him, but not before he deals out a fair bit of damage.
Adaine uses an Arcane Hand plus her portent roll to just whole-ass throw Johnny off the ship. Like, he gets back up but it’s so funny to instead of fighting an enemy to just throw him off a set piece (see eg: Bloodkeep ep2).
Kristen Revivifies Gilear and Bill, the mercurial sunuvabitch is like, “We love the same woman! I just want her happy!” and gives him a gun. Kristen immediately is like, “Bro, you need to hide,” and Gorgug protects him while he does so (in a sarcophagus that has a 50/50 shot of being launched as ammo).
Penelope shows up to the fight, eyes all black, wearing a shredded prom dress, and with shards of silver embedded in her forehead like a crown. Dayne and Daybreak also join the fight as messed up Harvestmen! It’s a veritable Smash Bros lineup of people the Bad Kids have killed!
Adaine and Fabian are christened the “Posh Squad” which is important to me, not to the fight.
Adaine gets to counterspell a counterspell from Penelope, one of the sexiest things you can do in D&D.
Fabian declares toxic masculinity dead. Shortly afterward, he makes Brennan eat a die when Daybreak tries to Frighten Fabian, a condition he is immune to due to his eyepatch I gather based on the table reaction.
Daybreak’s punishment in hell is a complete lack of self-awareness of why he’s there. He still thinks he should be sipping Mai-Tai’s in corn heaven with Helio while Kristen and Ragh are attacking him with gay spit (their words, not mine). Gay spit and, also, a ton of radiant and thunder damage.
Ragh gets some emotional catharsis by getting to body Dayne before Gorgug decapitates him. Very important step in the stages of grief. Decapitating the source of said grief.
Penelope gets Sparta-kicked off the edge of the boat by Fabian after Ayda dispels her protective globe and Riz shoots Daybreak again for old times sake. Unfortunately, Penelope Misty Steps back up and Daybreak is hurt but not killed. Ayda does a cool Dr. Strange teleportation thing and does a bunch of damage to both of them. Fabian finishes off Penelope with a sheet/sword combo and between Booming Blade and a Psionic Blast (does she have this ability as a Bard or as a Warlock? Relatedly, when she felt something leave her was that her Warlock deal being nullified or was she feeling the deals leave her since she is sort of the temporary Gorthalax?) Fig destroys Daybreak. Johnny just falls off the ship with no PC intervention because he sucks.
Bill also falls off the ship but Fig (with an assist from Gorgug) saves him and steals a scroll from Vraz on the way back up. By the by, earlier in the fight, she also had Baby Invisbly steal a random item from her.
Anyway, as they reach the end of the end of the fight, Bill loads Riz into a canon (!) and shoots him into the city, hopefully towards his dad (to the distress of his party). He crashes through the window in a familiar looking building and, when he finds a hallway that he’s pretty sure leads to his dad, he goes towards it.
He sees a familiar light coming out of a doorway (the interrogation room light) and a doorway next to it that is slightly open with steel thrones in it. There’s a two-way mirror between the two rooms and if he goes into the open one, he can see who is in with his dad. After checking for illusions and finding none, he stealthily walks in and sees, in the other room, his dad with a hulking pit fiend (30 ft tall, winged, almost dragon-y devil).
The pit fiend is questioning Pok about any regrets he had in life and Pok answers very uncharacteristically from the man we saw in the video saying he had nothing but high hopes for baby Riz. He says he had no regrets, his job was just a job, and that he only had a kid because Sklonda wanted one before going into a snarling goblin rage. The pit fiend smiles at that and says that Pok has promise so they won’t create a lemure out of him (a lemure is a weak, blobby devil). Two devils in the room with them whip him unconscious and then leave the room to go send more people to deal with Bill.
Riz Misty Steps into the room and does a self-imposed Wisdom check to steady himself after what he just heard--Nat 20 baby. Then, he opens his Briefcase of Holding, ready to scoop his dad into it when, the two lesser devils open the door and catch him in the act. But Riz persists in the scooping. They try to grapple him and he rolls a Nat 1 to avoid it. He *still* tries to get him dad. But then he notices, his gun is missing.
BLAM. The devils heads are blown clean off. He turns and he sees his dad has taken the gun--his gun originally--and shot the devils. Pok, who is amazed that Riz is there and no longer feigning apathy for the situation asks for an extraction into an earpiece, causing a halo to appear over his head and a beam of holy light to come down like a tractor beam.
“Wait,” says Riz. “You’re an undercover angel?”
“You got it, kid.”
Murph goes feral. The table goes feral. I go feral. What a way to end an episode!
And now for an all-Dad round of superlatives:
Detention
Bill Seacaster for KILLING GILEAR
I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain myself here.
Honor Roll
Pok Gukgak for Officially Joining the Fantasy Fathers of the Year Club
Here either.
I will, however, add a Hell Yeah!
Random Thoughts
If you haven’t seen it yet, the trailer for S5 of Dimension 20 just dropped and I won’t spoil it but, from the looks of it, it is gonna be a doozy.
“Do not metagame with my freaking Dad!” Oh to have the support of an NPC Emily Axford has decided to imprint upon.
Gorgug: It’s been one year. We’re sophomores.
“We support you as a DM and as your friend but also you’re our enemy.”
I think it’s very interesting that with just a little space and time from his dad, Fabian is finally having the proper reactions to his dad doing what I will charitably call shenanigans.
The level of distress and outrage from Emily when Gilear got shot was just *chef’s kiss*. I aspire to create an NPC that provokes that level of reaction from one of my players. Similar energy in a different direction from Ally when Daybreak attacked Tracker.
“Adaine, the jocks are being feisty! Get out of there!”
Vraz calls Fig “the Faithless” as her devil title and she insists on instead being called, “the InFaethable”. I wanna know how long Emily’s been sitting on that one or whether she came up with it on the spot.
Fabian upon seeing Johnny: Fuck off dude. I have too much going on right now.
Brennan being the eternal DM mood: How do I get out of this?
Very wild how little time has passed since Leviathan. Like, Fabian’s had this whole arc and grown so much but, like, OF COURSE Allistair still wants to murder him! It’s been like two days.
“I want to crumple up Gilear like a wrapper.”
A seven is a Murph 10.
The very specific way Brennan does foley for sword fighting (“Clang! Cling! Clang!”) is so funny to me.
Cannot overstate how much of a power move it was for Kristen to go, “I’ve been PRAYING FOR YOU,” at Daybreak and knock him on his ass.
I feel like I bring this up all the time but I love when Brennan is counting dice for a ton of damage and all the PCs are BSing reasons that it’s not a big deal like, “He’s just getting D4s,” or “Well I should get advantage for the reason just made up,” with everyone else fully playing along. ”
Allistair Ash, man. He is fascinating to me. I am so curious about what Brennan had planned for him originally because I feel like we barely scratched the surface before things took a TURN. He had two little moments in this ep that made my heart break for him a little: (1) When he says to Fabian, “If I die, I just come back a little bit worse but, if you die, you’re stuck down here with me.” and (2) when Fabian kills him and Bill grabs his soul and is like, “You know it’s gonna cost you X gold to revive you,” and he sighs and says, “Put it on my tab I suppose.” Like, I know he spent all ep trying to kill Fabian but I can’t help but be like, poor guy. He just has this pathos in his haplessness. I’m surprised Fabian didn’t make more of an effort to connect with him instead of being like, kind of like, “I will throw hands if I must.” Talking is a free action my dude. Anyway, I would love to see Brennan’s DM notes for this guy.
Lou was really doing some expert D&D with all the second winding and bonus actioning and burning spell slots for extra damage he was doing. He was like, “My initiative is trash so I have to do approximately a million damage per turn.”
Lol at Ayda asking if it’s weird to talk about sex stuff in front of friends in a group that involves both Kristen and Adaine.
Fig wishing she could do something cool in front of Ayda as if Ayda didn’t try to flood Hell on her behalf last week. My girl. You’ve already locked that down.
Not really an issue that’s we’ll run across during the run of FH but tieflings live 20-40 years longer than humans according to the official D&D lore. So lets say Fig lives to be 120 years old. And let’s say she sticks with her high school girlfriend and marries her. It’s possible they die at around the same time and then Ayda has to Deal With That in her next life but that’s not what I’m interested in. What happens if you’re a full elderly woman and your partner phoenixes into a child? What are the ethics of that? How do you deal with that? Chronomancy?
The horrified, “Love wins!” from Daybreak.
Is there a reason the viewing room Riz was in had thrones in it or is Hell just very about the ~aesthetic~
Every time a DM asks for a HP total, my entire being clenches in prep for a Power Word Kill.
“I’m gonna need a Dexter--”/”Counterspell.”
“You guys murdered me too but we hashed it out.”
I totally forgot that the Bad Kids lied that Ragh had shat his pants until the moment Adaine was saying it this episode. Freshman Year was WILD.
Also, just wanna take a second to talk about the elevation of Ragh from this side-note bully to a fully fledged, likeable character with depth and and an arc and gay spit. D&D is crazy.
Summoning Boggy via Bloody Mary is such a delightful image.
So, Kalina is the one that led Riz down the path that led to him finding out Pok is an Undercover Angel (!!!), which means one of three things: (1) She knew but miscalculated hard, (2) she didn’t know and made a different but also big miscalculation, (3) she did know and she’s doing some kind of 4-D chess thing we don’t know about yet.
Ayda hitting Fabian with a portent and then swooping in and saving Adaine. So clutch. What a good NPC to befriend.
Speaking of, I think we all kinda figured, but Brennan officially said on Twitter or the Discord (I don’t remember which) that Ayda is autistic. Like, I was pretty sure but I didn’t wanna assume.
Lol at the absolute lack of respect Kalvaxus got in this episode.
Pok as an Undercover Angel is SO GOOD. Like, I didn’t think he was really bad for a second but I never could have guessed he was an UNDERCOVER ANGEL. That’s such a dope combination of words. Undercover Angel (which my computer keeps trying to correct to undercover agent which isn’t wrong to be fair). Man. I love this. I love this for me and I love this for Riz. Riz deserves this. After so much crap in his life and so many mind games from Kalina and all this turmoil, he deserves to know that not only is his dad a good person who loved/loves him, he’s SO good that he’s an ANGEL and he was such a good spy in life he still is a secret agent in death. God, what a reveal. I can’t believe Riz got Spy Kids-ed TWICE by the same parent. Can’t wait to hear what exactly is going on with him.
Wait, what’s goblin heaven like? Which god is sanctioning this? Who is he working for exactly?
This episode, Kristen and Gorgug rolled 1 Nat 20 each, while Riz, Fabian, and Brennan each got 2. On the flipside, Adaine got 2 Nat 1’s, Fig and Fabian each rolled 1 that was cancelled, and Riz rolled 1 (in addition, Murph rolled two more which were lair actions and one of which was cancelled by a luck point so they don’t really count but it was very funny so I wanted to note it).

—————
Bucky seldom slept on the nights Steve was missing from their bed. Both he and Tony had their ways of coping. Tony, ever the mother hen, would spend every waking moment in his workshop. He either worked on gear for himself or whoever was missing from their weird haphazard family.
"I can't help it, Buck," he had said, eyeing Bucky with those ridiculous doe eyes of his when Bucky had tried to convince him to get some sleep. "Keeping them safe keeps me going."
It had taken all of Bucky's strength not to sigh and bury his face in his hands. How he of all people had ended up with not one but two reckless boyfriends was beyond him.
Keeping the sigh but omitting the facepalm, Bucky had just pulled the smaller man into a hug and pressed a kiss to the top of his head, tucking it under his chin. "But who's keeping you all safe and healthy, huh? As much as I love DUM-E, he nearly gives you food poisoning once a week."
The aforementioned robot let out an affronted whir.
"DUM-E, language! What would Steve say?"
DUM-E had whirred again, this one long and low. It seemed like Bucky and Tony weren't the only ones missing Steve.
"Steve would say eat something and go to bed, Bambi," Bucky mumbled into his dark curling hair. This close, Bucky could smell motor oil and metal. It shouldn't have been so appealing, but it was so Tony. The strands of hair tickled his nose. Tony would need a haircut soon, although Bucky liked it like this; all warm brown waves and softness. He preferred this look over the gelled swoop he would don when he had to put on what Bucky and Steve had dubbed Tony's Media Mask™️.
"Seeing as Steve doesn't call me ‘Bambi’, I have a hard time believing you, Buckaroo."
Bucky huffed out a laugh. "Yes, he does. We both do. Those eyes of yours are dangerous, Bambi. All wide and innocent."
Tony twisted around from where Bucky had cornered him against his work-station, turned said dangerous eyes on him, and Bucky had melted. He had it bad, didn't he? One look and Tony had him wrapped around his finger.
Rolling his eyes, although Bucky could see him holding back a smile, Tony had just pecked Bucky on the lips. Tony had sent him on his merry way out of his workshop with a cheeky, "I'm anything but innocent, Barnes."
And that's how Bucky found himself pulling a Steve by demolishing punching bag after punching bag in the communal gym. He let the tension and worry from the previous week flow out of his body and into the rough canvas of the punching bag. Sometimes he did feel a bit silly. It wasn't like Steve was missing or on the run or God-forbid, dead. He was just on a solo mission, something they all had gone on too many times to count, and they had all returned home fine.
Bucky remembered mid-punch that this was Steve he was worried about, who always seemed to pick a fight with someone twice as big as him in the 40s. Decades in the ice hadn't changed that about him. Bucky frowned. He wasn't sure whether to be worried or proud. Super soldier serum or not, Bucky had the right to worry about his boyfriend.
Bucky ended up going through three punching bags by the time he was done.
Someone let out a long low whistle that echoed in the near-empty gym.
"Tony's going to have his hands full," Natalia, no Natasha, said, emerging from the sidelines into the light of the gymnasium. He hated himself for still calling her by the wrong name. Natalia was a reminder of both their bloody pasts. Pasts they'd both been trying their hardest to atone for. He understood her need for a new name, a new identity. During field missions, Bucky himself refused to be called "Winter Soldier." He found he was a fan of "White Wolf" these days.
Bucky looked her over. She was dressed in casual attire that she had lifted off the rest of them. The AC/DC shirt was clearly Tony's and judging by the way the grey hoodie she wore flooded her torso, that had to be Steve's. It looked like he and Tony weren't the only ones who missed him.  Bucky wasn't surprised. Natasha wasn't vocal about it, but she cared about the team as much as they cared about her.
"Something plaguing your mind, Barnes?" she said, leaning against the wall looking to be without a care in the world. "Missing a certain super soldier?"
Bucky rolled his eyes and began to unwind the wrist wraps from his hands. "Tony will be fine. It'll give him something to do. You know he likes to keep busy," he said, ignoring her questions.
Bucky tossed the wraps into a trash can on his way out of the gym, Natasha not far behind him. "Any reason why you're keen on being my shadow?" he asked.
"Oh, no reason," she said, sidling up to him, "just waiting for you to thank me."
Arching a brow, he said, "For what? As far as I know, you haven't done anything for me recently."
"Except bring Steve home early."
Bucky froze. "What?"
"I may or may not have cashed in a few favors with Fury and got him to send someone to take over Steve's mission. You're welcome, by the way."
He blinked. "Why would you—"
Rolling her eyes, Natasha said, "Your and Tony's pining was affecting the morale."
"We weren't pining—"
"You were pining. Full-on longing sighs and gazing off into the distance, the works," Natasha's eyes glittered with mischief that would have been out of place had he not known her as well as he did. "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, Barnes."
"...Thanks, Nat."
"No problem," Natasha said.
The two of them settled into a comfortable silence while heading towards the elevator at the end of the hall. At the press of a button, the elevator appeared with a soft ding, announcing its arrival. They boarded the elevator, and it wasn't long before Natasha was exiting the elevator on her own personal floor.
"Hey, Barnes, keep it down when you tell Tony, will you? Some of us actually want to get some sleep tonight," she said. Her lips curled upward in a subtle grin.
Fighting back a flush, Bucky said pointedly, "Good night, Nat." They weren't that loud.
Her lilting laugh followed him all the way up to the penthouse.
Bucky sighed as he took in the vacant penthouse suite. Tony was probably still tinkering in his workshop.
"FRIDAY?" He called as he headed into the kitchenette for a much-needed glass of water. "Is Tony still in his workshop?"
"Boss is currently arguing with DUM-E in his workshop, Mr. Barnes."
Bucky chuckled. "What did DUM-E do?"
"DUM-E got worried when the boss fell asleep at his workbench and figured the best way to wake him up would be to spray him with the fire extinguisher." Bucky could have sworn he had detected some amusement in FRIDAY's voice. He filled a glass with tap water and took a long, grateful swallow, sating his thirst.
"Well, you're a sight for sore eyes."
Bucky's eyes darted to the staircase from which Tony had emerged. Not that he had doubted FRIDAY's words when she said DUM-E had tried to wake Tony up, but the sight that stood before him nearly made him spit out his water. Bucky could barely see his boyfriend's face beneath the mountain of foam that cloaked his body.
Two brown eyes blinked at him through the foam. "What?" Tony said. "Is there something on my face?"
At that, Bucky had to laugh. A full-bellied laugh that had him doubling over. "Aw, Bambi, what happened?" he said between fits of laughter.
Stomping his foot, Tony said, "I told you not to call me that! I'm not a deer." A dollop of foam slid from his shoulder. It landed on the ground with an audible splat that sent Bucky into another bout of laughter.
"Oh, yuck it up. The next time you come home looking ridiculous, I have full permission to laugh my ass off at you."
Tony placed his hands on his hips in what was no doubt supposed to be an authoritative gesture. Seeing as his boyfriend stood at 5'9" and currently looked like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Bucky had a hard time keeping a straight face. "Duly noted," Bucky grinned.
Tony pointed a finger at him. "I'm holding you to that!"
"You have my word. Scout's honor."
Tony rolled his eyes. "I'm going to shower, and when I get back, I expect you to be groveling on your knees."
Bucky licked his lips. "Oh, sweetheart, I will gladly get on my knees for you." Despite his well-earned reputation as a playboy, Bucky just knew the genius was cherry red underneath all that foam. Good.
"You, my friend," Tony began, once again pointing an accusing finger at him, "are a dangerous man who's gonna drive me to an early grave. I'm going to shower," he repeated.
"I—"
"Alone!"
Despite Tony's claims later on, he did not pout, he glowered. "You don't even know what I was gonna say."
"I know you, honey. That's all I needed," and with that Tony, as dignified as he could, anyway, strutted to their bedroom. Their door locked with a distinct click.
Bucky smirked. It would take much more than a locked door to keep him out, but he'd figure he'd let his boyfriend have his free time.
As soon as Tony stepped out of the shower, he would do what he had promised and gladly get on his knees. Or maybe Tony would surprise him. For now, Bucky would have to entertain himself some other way.
—————
Bucky sat on the couch, in a clean plain white t-shirt and grey sweatpants, having ditched the sweat-soaked pair earlier. With his hair pulled up into a messy bun, and his feet propped up on their coffee table, he was the epitome of comfort. One arm draped over the sofa, the other holding the tv remote, Bucky flipped through the channels, looking for nothing in particular. His mind was elsewhere. Mainly occupied with thoughts of Tony, naked, in the shower, his body lathered in soapy bubbles and hot water sluicing down his firm back—
His phone buzzed in his pocket, jerking him out of his fantasy. A bit miffed that his fantasy had been interrupted, Bucky answered the call, practically growling out a "What?" These days he wasn't too concerned with propriety, and anyone who had this number was someone he trusted completely and wouldn't be bothered by the occasional curt greeting.
"Hello to you too, jerk."
It was unbelievable how quickly Bucky perked up when he heard that familiar voice. "Stevie?"
"The one and only."
"Are you on your way back already?"
Steve's voice grew sulky. "Aw, who told you?"
"Nat let it slip today while I was...training."
"You mean she ambushed you while you were destroying punching bags in the gym."
"How did—"
"You get aggressive when you're over-protective."
"I wouldn't be over-protective if you actually had a sense of self-preservation," Bucky retorted, his face going red. So he may have had a few mother hen tendencies. To be fair, Steve had the self-preservation skills of a sloth.
"You jump from a plane without a parachute once, and suddenly everyone thinks you don't care about your life."
Before Bucky could call bullshit on Steve—he had seen Steve leap from a plane without a parachute countless times both during the war and in the present—the words died in his mouth.
Tony, fucking Tony, had re-appeared fresh and clean from the shower, dressed in a tight black tank top that showed off the understated strength of his arms and dark grey sweatpants slung low on his hips. His hair, still wet from the shower, fell in messy waves as if he had recently run his hands through it.
"Buck? You still there?"
Tony put a finger to his lips as if to shush him.
Bucky wasn't sure what he was playing at, but judging by the smirk gracing Tony's features, he'd get a nice reward if he played along. Game on, then.
Bucky swallowed before saying, "Yeah, I'm here. Got distracted by the tv."
Tony's smirk turned into a full-blown grin, and the asshole strutted to where Bucky sat on the couch. How was it possible for someone to look that attractive in a tank top and sweatpants?
"Am I boring you, Barnes?" Steve asked with a teasing note in his voice.
"Of course not, Rogers," he replied. At the same time, his eyes greedily took in the sight of Tony's approaching form and found himself with a lapful of a tempting genius (not that Bucky was complaining). "What time do you think you'll make it back?"
"Hold on." There was a brief pause. "Around 2 am."
And of course, Tony decided that would be the perfect time to grind his hips down against Bucky. A small hiss escaped Bucky's mouth at the sudden but fleeting pleasure of friction against his groin.
"You okay, Buck?" Steve said, the playfulness from earlier leaving his tone only to be replaced with worry.
Tony grinned wickedly and repeated the action, his lean arms winding around Bucky's neck.
"Yeah, Stevie, I'm fine. Just stubbed my toe," he said, the lie coming quickly to him.
"It didn't sound like you stubbed your toe."
"Really," Bucky replied. "I'm fine. Just missing you," he said, his voice growing quieter at the end.
"Miss you, too, Buck," Steve replied, sounding forlorn even through the phone. "How's Bambi?"
At the mention of the moniker, Tony narrowed his eyes.
"Being a brat. Like usual."
"I'm not a brat," Tony muttered and leaned in to nuzzle at Bucky's neck.
Bucky closed his eyes and tilted his head back. He savored the feeling of Tony's mouth, soft and burning against his own skin.
"Is he there with you?"
Bucky had a hard time responding as Tony had decided that was the perfect time for his hands to wander. The genius' talented, nimble hands crept under Bucky's shirt, tracing lines along the muscled planes of his stomach, leaving goosebumps in their wake.
Tony pulled back from Bucky's neck and shook his head, his dark eyes wide and pleading.
"No," Bucky responded, playing along. His free hand settled on Tony's hip and squeezed. He smelled like Steve's body wash; pine and ocean brine. "He's shut up in his workshop."
Bucky could hear the fond exasperation in Steve's voice when he replied. "Of course, he is. Has he been sleeping? Eating?"
"Oh, I'm about to eat something," Tony said, earning a pinch on his ass from Bucky. The little yelp that escaped from Tony's mouth made Bucky grin.
Fear (and if he was being honest, a little bit of excitement) lanced through him, leaving him on edge; he had annoyed Tony, and Tony was going to retaliate. Bucky loved when Tony retaliated. Unbidden, his mind flashed to when he had been offered a scouting mission in Ukraine while in the middle of giving Tony a blowjob. Bucky had been ecstatic at the time, with it being one of the first missions SHIELD had cleared him for after his lengthy recovery post-HYDRA. In his excitement, though, he had left Tony in the dust. Luckily, he had a sweet and understanding boyfriend who had cuffed him to the bed when he got back and sucked Bucky off to his heart's content. That had been a good day.
"If you count motor-oil smoothies as food, then yes, he's been eating," Bucky said, eyeing Tony with a heated gaze as he slid off from his lap with all the grace of a panther and onto his knees.
The mere sight of Tony on his knees, looking up at Bucky from beneath his long, dark lashes, set his blood alight. The only way it could have been better was if Steve were right beside him.
Steve's sigh echoed in Bucky's ear. "As soon as I get home, I'm handcuffing him to the bed."
Had he been a more conscientious man, Bucky would have been ashamed at how much the thought of Tony tied up excited him. Instead, he was just horny; his cock had gone from semi-hard to full hardness in a matter of seconds, and his sweatpants erred on the side of just too tight. That familiar hot coil of arousal pooled in his groin.
As if he had read his mind, Tony's hands reached up and tugged at the waistband of Bucky's sweatpants.
"Something tells me that he'd like that, Stevie," Bucky said, his voice sounding a bit breathless to his own ears. He lifted his hips up just enough so Tony could work his pants down past his hips and to his thighs. Bucky damn near sighed in relief as his cock escaped the confines of his pants. "No boxers?" Tony mouthed, raising a brow.
Bucky shrugged. He liked to be comfortable, sue him.
"I didn't mean it like that, Buck," Steve said, although Bucky could hear the hint of interest in his voice.
"But Tony'd look so nice," Bucky replied, looking down at Tony. "All spread out like a centerfold." Tony's eyes were black as pitch as one of his hands encircled Bucky's cock. His grip was on the edge of too loose, making Bucky pulse with need in Tony's hands. "Oh fuck," he groaned. Pre-come beaded at the slit of his cock.
"Bucky…" Steve said, his voice a pitch or two lower. "Where's Tony right now? For real?"
Tony didn't turn his puppy dog eyes onto him like Bucky thought he would. Whatever game Steve wanted to play intrigued Tony more than the one they were already playing. He just stared at him, the picture of sweet innocence, his eyes wide and shining.
"On his knees," Bucky said. His eyes fluttered shut as Tony slowly, almost lazily, began to stroke his cock. "Bein' a fuckin' tease," he said, a bit of Brooklyn slipping into his words. His accent always made an appearance when he was horny. It drove Tony wild.
Bucky heard Steve's breath hitch and a rustling movement. "...Put me on speaker," Steve said, his voice louder than before.
Bucky's fingers fumbled with his phone in his excitement, but he managed. "Okay," he said. "You're on speaker."
"Tony? Baby, can you hear me?"
Tony visibly perked up at the sound of Steve's voice. "Loud and clear, Captain."
Steve sucked in a breath, and Bucky had to stifle a chuckle. He knew just how much Steve liked it when one of them pulled rank on him in the bedroom. Not that Bucky was any better. One "sarge" from Tony or Steve had him dropping his pants then and there. "Good," Steve said. Something dark and delightfully dangerous drifted down Bucky's spine at the commanding tone in his voice; he loved when Steve used his Cap voice in bed. Or on the helicarrier. Or in the kitchen. Or—
"I want you to do me a favor," Steve continued, startling Bucky out of his revelry.
"Hmm," Tony said, his thumb swiping over the head of Bucky's cock, collecting some of the pre-come that had gathered there. A trill of pleasure ran down Bucky's spine. "Depends on what it is. I'm a little preoccupied."
"Preoccupied?"
"Building robots, giving blowjobs, the usual."
Steve chuckled. "Then, lucky for you, our interests align."
"Color me intrigued," Tony replied. "What have you got in mind, Captain?"
"You're playin' with Bucky, aren't you, baby?" Some of Brooklyn had slipped back into Steve as well.
"Yes," Tony said, his voice savoring the word. "He was being mean. So I decided to be mean back."
"Wasn't bein' mean," Bucky grumbled, but there was no heat in his words. "Just thought you looked cute is all. You shoulda seen him, Stevie. Head to toe covered in foam."
"DUM-E?"
"DUM-E," Bucky said in affirmation.
"It wasn't cute," Tony said, huffing. "I looked like I had a severe case of rabies."
"So, Bucky was bein' mean," Steve said.
"Don't take his side," Bucky interjected.
"I think I will, Buck."
Bucky couldn't decide whether or not he liked the dark note Steve's voice had taken on.
"Tell me what you've already done to Bucky, sweetheart," Steve said. "And I'll go from there."
"I ground on his lap," Tony said, his voice going low. "Got him all hot and hard the way he likes. Then I slid his pants down, Captain."
"No underwear, right?"
"None," Tony said.
"Fuckin' naughty, Buck."
"Don't pretend like you don't love it," Bucky drawled, unashamed. "Easy access, ain't it?"
"Keep goin', Tony."
"You should see him, Steve," Tony said. "He's so hard and ready for me, he's practically leaking."
Maybe Bucky should have been embarrassed, but he found it hard to be bashful when it was the truth. His boyfriends were hot; of course his body was going to react the way it did. And something...something about the wet, slick sound of Tony's hand pumping his cock just wound him up even more.
"Sounds like you got a head start. Here's what I want you to do for me. Are you listenin', baby?"
"Yes, sir."
It was the sir that got Bucky, his flesh hand wrapping around Tony's and forcing him to speed up his pace. A steady tangle of lust had built up inside of him, and fuck, he was ready to let it go.
"I want you to get FRIDAY to stream this to my phone."
Oh, fuck yes. Phone sex was always fun, but Steve watching them and ordering them around from the helicarrier where anyone could hear or see? It turned him on more than it probably should have.
Clint had always called the three of them exhibitionists after one too many unfortunate (for him anyway) times he had walked in on them macking on each other in public.
"Done," Tony said. "FRIDAY, if you please?"
"Already on it, boss," FRIDAY replied, and was that...was that embarrassment in her voice? Could she even feel embarrassment?
"Perfect," Steve said, bringing Bucky's mind away from the complications of the emotions of AI, and back to the present. "You two look fuckin' gorgeous."
"We'd look better with you here," Bucky said.
"Soon," Steve said. "Now, Tony, I want you to let go of Bucky's cock."
Bucky nearly let out a whine. "Stevie, I—"
"Aw, Buck, you look good when you're frustrated. Your cock's so fuckin' red."
"Because I need to fuckin' come."
"You'll come when I let you."
Tony, listening to Steve's orders (for once), let go of Bucky's cock although he looked wroth to do it.
Tony's eyes had glazed over, Steve's commands washing over him and sinking him into that special place that only Steve and Bucky could send him to.
"Kiss him," Steve said. His tone left no room for argument. "Shut him up, Tony."
Tony rose gracefully from his knees and reclaimed his proper place on Bucky's lap.
"You heard the man." Bucky swallowed, throat tight all of a sudden. "You gonna shut me up, doll?"
A wicked smile crossed Tony's face. "If you're quiet by the time I'm done with you, I'm obviously doing something wrong."
And with that, Tony leaned in. Bucky met him halfway, dropping his phone in the process, not that it mattered. Thanks to FRIDAY, Steve had a crystal clear view of them.
Bucky loved kissing Tony. It was one of his favorite things to do, right up there with bugging Sam, sparring with Natasha, and kissing Steve.
Tony kissed like he did everything else; without a care in the world. As if it came as naturally to him as breathing or blinking. He knew exactly when to spur on the kiss, pressing his lips incessantly against Bucky's, his hands reaching up to tug Bucky's hair from its bun. The tips of his hair brushed against his shoulders. He was in desperate need of a haircut, but he wasn't quite ready to let go of the way Tony's fingers carded through the silky strands.
Bucky broke the kiss briefly just to tug insistently at Tony's tank top. Tony complied, lifting his arms up. As soon as the tank was over his head and off, Bucky threw it behind him, not caring where it landed. They'd find it later.
Bucky's cock was harder than ever, all hot and slick with pre-come where it rested in between him and Tony's abs.
He wanted Tony to suck him down. He wanted to turn Tony over onto his knees and eat him out until he begged for mercy. He wanted, he wanted, he wanted.
Bucky slipped his tongue into Tony's mouth and sought out Tony's. They met with a hot slide of flesh against flesh. Tony tasted clean and minty, from his time in the shower. There was something behind the toothpaste as well, something that reminded him uniquely of Tony. Moaning into his mouth, Tony's clever fingers tugged at Bucky's hair until he growled and nipped Tony's lip in response. His hands slid up Tony's thighs, riding up until he was cupping Tony's ass in his hands. He squeezed and kneaded at Tony's ass exactly the way the genius liked it, rough, yet teasing, until Tony was practically whining.
"Enough playin' around," Steve's voice came from overhead. FRIDAY had probably wired it over once she had realized that there was no chance Bucky was going to pick his phone back up again. "Sweetheart, you know what to do."
Tony pulled away from Bucky's lips, a thin string of saliva connecting them. Bucky wanted to close the gap between them and kiss Tony until he was breathless some more, but Steve apparently had other plans. Other plans that Tony was aware of.
Tony kissed Bucky's nose, the corner of his mouth, working his way down until he was at Bucky's neck. Usually, Bucky and Steve were the ones to mark up Tony's neck, but he wasn't opposed to a little bit of role reversal. Especially when Tony would nip at his neck and soothe the mark by running his tongue over it. His heart drummed in his chest so loud, Bucky swore he could hear it, as Tony made his way down, down, down, until he was leaving marks at Bucky's collarbones.
"It's a shame these are going to be gone by morning," Tony murmured, his hands leaving Bucky's hair to pull at the edges of his tank top. Following his lead, Bucky let go of Tony's ass and lifted his arms above his head, his tank top quickly following.
"You'll just have to leave some more in the mornin'," Bucky said, his voice hoarse. Tony kissed his way down Bucky's chest, pausing to take one of his nipples into his mouth.
Tony was talented with his tongue, there was no doubt about that, as he worked Bucky over just as well as any machine down in his workshop. While his mouth worshipped one nipple, Tony lavished the other with attention with his (fucking wonderful) hands; he pinched and rolled Bucky's nipple, sending unfamiliar, yet welcome, sparks of pleasure down his chest and straight to his groin.
Tony made his way to the crux in between Bucky's thighs. The sight of the great, indomitable Tony Stark on his knees, lips red and kiss-swollen, pupils blown wide, and his dark, curling hair, made even more of a mess, did something to Bucky inside. Only he and Steve got to see Tony like this. Tony had chosen them, had granted them the gift of seeing him in such a vulnerable state. Equal parts love and lust swelled inside of him to the point of bursting. He hoped that this would be a sight that he would see until the end of his days. If there was an afterlife, for people like the likes of them, he wanted it to be exactly like this.
Bucky watched with bated breath as Tony pressed kisses to the muscles of his thighs until his mouth was hovering over his cock. Given the look of determination and longing in Tony's eyes, he half-expected him to give up their little game and take Bucky down to the base of his cock, but that wasn't the case. His genius was waiting for something. "Go ahead, sweetheart. Take him into your mouth," Steve said.
"Please, Tony," Bucky said, not even trying to hide the whine in his voice. Dignity was overrated when you were so close to coming.
A light pink tongue darted out and licked at the head of Bucky's cock, slowly, as if Tony were savoring the taste.
"All the way," Steve said, his voice a low growl at this point. He sounded just as wound up as Bucky.
Tony chuckled, his warm breath ghosting over Bucky's cock. Bucky shivered. His cock was flushed to the extreme, and damn near twitching. A steady stream of pre-come leaked from his slit, a droplet tracing a phantom trail all the way down to his balls.
"Since you asked so nicely," Tony teased and took the head of Bucky's cock into his mouth.
A groan escaped the lips of both Bucky and Steve, and Bucky just knew that the other man was probably stroking his own cock in some alcove on the helicarrier. Tony licked at the trail of pre-come, massaging Bucky's cock with his tongue from the head all the way to the base.
"That's it, Tony," Steve said. "Fuck, you look so good with a cock in that smart mouth of yours. Why don't you go ahead and touch yourself for us, hm?"
Tony reached down and worked his sweatpants down with one hand, the other too busy gripping Bucky's thigh as he bobbed his head. Bucky threw his head back against the couch, basking in the pleasure. His senses were under assault; Steve's wrecked voice, the tight, hot, wetness of Tony's mouth, the smell of sex and sweat, and Steve's body wash, all had him ready to burst in record time.
Tony moaned when his hand had settled into a nice rhythm, the vibrations traveling straight to Bucky's groin. His flesh hand settled on the base of Tony's neck and pushed him down until his nose was flush with Bucky's stomach.
"Fuck, yes," he hissed, his fingers knotting into Tony's hair.
"Go ahead and fuck his mouth, Buck," Steve said, all quick and breathless. "He can take it."
Tony moaned once more, and with that Bucky let go, bucking his hips upward into Tony's mouth. He nearly came apart when he hit Tony's throat because instead of gagging, Tony took him in stride and swallowed around him. So Bucky did it again. And again. And again. Because Tony took it so fucking well as if his purpose in life was to suck Bucky's cock like his life depended on it.
Bucky decided to chance it and look down at Tony. Tony was stroking his own dick slowly, intent on savoring the moment; he didn't have an out of this world libido like the likes of Bucky and Steve, who were good for three rounds at least in one night. God, Tony was...Tony was a fucking wreck; his pink lips stretched around the base of Bucky's dick, as spit dribbled from his mouth. His eyes shone like the pavement after a storm, all wet with unshed tears. It was the look of utter bliss in his black eyes that had Bucky coming with a curse on the tip of his tongue. Tony's lips stayed wrapped around him, swallowing his load with the kind of ease that only came with practice. Bucky pulled out of Tony's mouth, spent but still hard enough to cut diamonds. That first orgasm was enough to sate the burn of arousal in his mind. Now...now he was ready for the main course.
In one quick motion, Bucky leaned forward and seized Tony's face, pulling him into a searing kiss. Tony's gasp of surprise morphed into a moan once Bucky's tongue invaded his mouth. Fuck, he could taste himself on Tony's tongue. It shouldn't have turned him on as much as it did.
"Pants. Off. Now," he growled once the need for air won out against his arousal. "Or I'm rippin' 'em off."
"You sound a little worked up," Steve said. The amusement in his voice was audible.
"Oh, trust me, Rogers, as soon as you get back, you're gettin' the same treatment."
"Shakin' in my boots, Buck."
"Fuck you."
"When I get back," Steve shot back."Why don't you and Tony show me what I'm missin'? You heard him, sweetheart. Pants off."
"You've been all sorts of bossy today, Captain," Tony said but made quick work of his sweatpants, pushing them down the remainder of his legs and kicking them off.
"I don't hear you complainin'," Steve said. "As a matter of fact, I think you love it, Tones."
"What can I say?" Tony said, stalking closer to Bucky, limbs all loose and languid despite having been kneeling for a considerable amount of time. Sometimes Bucky was amazed at just how much Tony could take. "I'm a simple man with simple tastes."
Tony seated himself on Bucky's lap for what had to be the umpteenth time that night. Tony's skin burned against his. His hands seized Tony like he was going to vanish into thin air if he didn't have a hold on him. "I see a handsome super soldier, I take him for a ride." Tony ground down against Bucky's lap, their cocks bumping together, making both of them gasp.
The friction was dizzying, addictive, as Tony did it again and again until both of their cocks were smeared with pre-come. The slickness made it all the better. Bucky could have come just like that, spilling all over Tony's thighs. The only thing that stopped him was the thought of coming inside Tony instead.
"Lube," Bucky breathed before his need to rut against Tony distracted him.
"No need," Tony said.
His confusion must have shown because Tony took his hand and guided it down, down, down to the cleft of Tony's ass. When his fingers brushed over something hard, it left both him and Steve swearing; Tony had worked a plug into himself.
Growling, Bucky pressed on the plug, working it deeper into Tony until he cried out, his hands flying up to clutch at Bucky like his life depended on it.
"You fuckin' minx," he said. "I mean it, one of these days I'm gonna cuff you to the bed, doll, and I'm going to show you just how bossy Stevie and I can be."
"Later," Tony said, throwing him an earnest look that showed Bucky he meant it. "Right now, I just want you to fuck me. Come on, handsome, let's put on a good show for Steve."
"Come on, Buck," Steve jumped in. "I'm so close."
Saying nothing, Bucky instead worked the plug out of Tony, only to replace it with two of his fingers. Tony yelped at the sudden intrusion.
Bucky cursed; Tony was so already so hot and wet around his fingers. He didn't think he'd be able to last that long in Tony's ass. All the more reason to have a round two. He worked his fingers into Tony's entrance, withdrawing every time he came close to Tony's prostate. He savored every little whimper, every whine that fluttered forth from Tony's lips like it was the sweetest song he had ever heard.
"Not so fun on your end, is it?" he smirked.
"B-bastard!" Right at that moment, Bucky drove his fingers into Tony's hole and curled them into a come-hither motion that had Tony squealing.
"What was that, doll? Couldn't hear it over your whinin'."
"Bucky, please."
"What was that you said to Stevie earlier?" Bucky said, ignoring Tony's pleas. "I was bein' mean?"
"You're such an asshole," Tony said without any heat.
"Am I still bein' mean, Bambi?" Bucky said, stilling his fingers.
"Yes! Just fuck me already!"
Tired of teasing (for now at least), Bucky pulled his fingers out of Tony and wasted no time sinking his cock into the depths of Tony, condom be damned. It's not like they truly needed one in the first place with the serum eradicating any and all diseases for him and Steve. Tony had been strictly monogamous, ever since his relationship with Pepper. Gone were the days of the billionaire playboy version of Tony Stark. He could still fuck like one, though.
Tony was still tight around Bucky despite having the plug and Bucky's fingers up his ass. Bucky went slow for his sake, easing into him, inch by inch.
"Fucking hell," Tony said. "You're so fucking big, Sarge, I can hardly take it."
"You can," Bucky growled. "That hasn't stopped you before, baby." It took all of Bucky's willpower not to come the second he had entered Tony. He knew he wouldn't last long, given how long it had been since the last time they had fucked paired with the thorough teasing and blowjob he had received from Tony earlier. "Fuck, I missed seeing you like this. Tell me you got a good angle, Stevie."
"A fuckin' superb angle," Steve said, sounding as wild as Bucky felt. "You're splittin' him open, Buck. Now go ahead and fuck him. You know he can take it."
Bucky didn't mind following orders as long as Steve was the one giving them. Tony lifted his hips in compliance until just the tip of Bucky's cock was still inside of him. When Tony sunk back down, throwing his hips back, Bucky rocked into him, aiming for his prostate.
Tony's moan sounded like it was punched out of him by the force of Bucky's thrust.
"Again," Steve ordered.
"Fuck, Steve," Tony whimpered. "You're trying to kill me, aren't you?"
"Not tryin' to kill you, sweetheart," Steve said. "I'm tryin' to make you feel alive. And Bucky's helpin' me, aren't you, Buck?"
"Damn right," Bucky said. He bucked his hips into Tony's at the end of his sentence. "Tryin' to light a fire inside you, doll."
"Is that so?" Tony's breath was warm against Bucky's ear, making the hairs on his neck stand up.
It was as if every nerve in Bucky's body had been set aflame. He was so hot. Sweat clung to his temples, slicking his skin.
Bucky's hands sought out Tony's ass as he began to thrust into him, keeping a steady pace. "Yes," he hissed when Tony started to rock his hips in time with Bucky. "You always make us feel good. Wanna make you feel good, too."
They had slipped into a steady rhythm, Bucky's hips working in tandem with Tony's like they were made for it. Bucky savored the little gasps and moans he could fuck out of Tony with each thrust of his hips. He even made it a little game for himself, switching the angle of his thrusts, slowing down or speeding up his pace, and seeing what other sounds he could get him to make. He especially loved the sound Tony made when Bucky's palm connected with the flesh of Tony's ass with a loud, satisfying smack. Tony dropped his head into the crook of Bucky's neck, his mouth pressing hot, wet kisses along the length of Bucky's throat.  He refreshed the previous hickeys he had left earlier, and no doubt added a few new ones.
Bucky did it again, this time on Tony's thigh, the slap sounding loud and perfect to Bucky's ears.
"I'm gonna come," Steve ground out. "Fuck, I'm gonna come all over my fuckin' hands."
"Wish I was there," Tony keened, looking up from Bucky's neck. "I'd lick it off your fingers one by one."
"I know you would. You'd do fuckin' anything for me, sweetheart." The way Steve said it, Bucky knew it wasn't a question. Tony would do anything for Steve. And Steve would do anything for him.
"God, Cap, I want to come with you," Tony said, riding Bucky in earnest now. Bucky tilted his hips ever so slightly, and he was sliding deeper into Tony than he had ever been. Tony was full-on shouting now as his ass slapped against Bucky's thighs with each thrust. If the rest of the tower didn't know what they were doing before, they sure as hell knew now.
One hand leaving Tony's hips, he steered Tony's mouth toward his, slotting their mouths together in a sloppy, bruising kiss, if one could even call it that. With his other hand, he took Tony's leaking cock into his hands, jerking him with practiced ease, greedily swallowing each of Tony's moans. Tony came with a muffled shout, spilling wetly over Bucky's hands and thighs. Amid his ecstasy, Tony pulled at Bucky's hair, and that was it for him. He thrust upwards into Tony, relishing in the tight clenching heat of him, as electricity zipped through his veins. He spilled into Tony, nearly whimpering at the vice-like grip on his spent cock. His blood, his very soul, had been set alight.
Tony was the one who broke their feverish kiss; instead, he settled for light, loving pecks all over Bucky's face. A wave of exhaustion slammed into Bucky like a battering ram. His body was all loose and languid; he knew if he were to try to stand, he'd risk crumpling to his knees like a puppet. He held onto Tony and tried to catch his breath. His hair clung to the nape of his neck, damp with sweat.
"I love you," Bucky said. He pressed a sloppy kiss to Tony's temple.
"Can't talk," Tony mumbled. "I'm dead. You and Steve killed me." He hummed in content when Bucky started to card his fingers through his hair.
"I'm only 50 percent responsible," Steve chimed in. "I'm not even there."
"I know," Tony pouted. Bucky wanted to kiss it away. He wanted Steve to help him. "I wish I could just teleport you here. Actually—" Tony began to stir.
Bucky pulled the genius close to his chest, ignoring the mess of come and sweat that was swiftly starting to dry on their skin. They would just have to shower later, and Bucky never turned down a chance at a joint shower with one of his favorite men. "Oh no, you don't, boy wonder."
"I'm with Buck," Steve said. "I'll get there the old fashioned way."
"The old-fashioned way is boring. And slow. I need you here, yesterday, Cap. I need both my boys with me."
Something in Steve's voice softened. "I'll see if they can speed up the flight a bit."
"Thank you, Stevie," Bucky said. "It's been hell without you. Even just hearin' your voice has us going crazy."
"I've been thinkin', Bucky," Steve said. "We deserve a vacation. All three of us."
Tony hummed. "A vacation sounds nice. Somewhere warm. With a beach."
"Somewhere with a lot of culture, too," Bucky added. "Art galleries for Steve."
"And good food for you, Buck," Steve finished.
"I hear Barcelona is nice this time of year," Tony said.
"We can hash out the details when I get home," Steve said. "...And I missed you both, too. Why is it always so hard?"
"That's what she said," Tony said under his breath. Bucky flicked him on his ear, earning himself a patented Tony Stark Death Stare™.
"Quit being a dork," Bucky chided.
"Make me, Sarge."
"Stevie, I don't care if you fuckin' break the sound barrier speeding home. Hurry up and come home before I tie Tony up for real."
Steve's answering chuckle washed over him like a wave. "I'll try and make it for round two," he said.
"We'll be waiting," Tony said, and with that, the call was over all too soon. Immediately, Bucky was overcome with longing.
"I miss him, too," Tony said.
"At least he's comin' home early. That's all we can ask for, right?"
Tony shrugged. "If you had let me look into teleportation like I wanted to—"
"Absolutely not."
"You guys are no fun," Tony replied. "Leave it to me to fall in love with two crotchety old men."
"Crotchety, eh?" Bucky asked, rolling his hips, with fluid ease. Round two was looking more and more appealing.
Tony's breath hitched. "Okay. Here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna shower—"
"Together?"
"Of course," Tony said, not missing a beat. "Get each other all soapy and wet, and hopefully by the time we get out, Steve will be here. Then both of you can show me how young and virile you are."
"Then we plan our vacation?"
"Nap then, vacation planning."
"You're on, doll."

You roll over and stretch as the sun slowly peeks in through your bedroom window. You groan as you realize you have to go back to work today. It’s been two weeks since you’ve called in to take your vacation early so you wouldn’t have to face Carol. Oh god, Carol. You roll over and stuff your face into your pillow and release a scream. You couldn’t do it, you couldn’t face her ever again. Not after what happened with Natalia. Not after breaking her heart, as well as yours, and just most likely traumatizing her. Not after she said you weren’t her baby girl anymore, you keep replaying that moment in your mind and it still hurts. You contemplate calling in sick when you realize you should probably just get it over with, like ripping off a bandaid, right? You sigh heavily as you roll off the bed landing on the floor. You grunt at your landing and stare up at the ceiling contemplating how your day could go, how should you greet her, should you even greet her? No that would be too awkward just a slight nod and smile should do. With one final sigh you get off the floor and make your way to the bathroom. You take a quick shower and get ready for the day, you decide on a black pencil skirt and a white blouse with red heels. As you put on your watch you see the box with the collar Nat gave you on your bedside table. You smile softly thinking of the beautiful yet mysterious woman. You grab a banana to go picking up your purse and keys on the way out. Your drive to work was long because of an accident on the freeway. By the time you drive in to work an hour late you’re slightly annoyed. You walk in and greet your coworkers that you haven’t seen in weeks taking your time to delay the inevitable. As you walk down the hallway to your office you have to pass by Carol’s, she was next in charge after you therefore your offices were next to each other. Which now you wish wasn’t the case. You see her door is open so you stick your head inside and give her a small greeting, a simple smile and wave.
“Morning, Carol.” She looks up from her computer with a frown on her face. She gives you a look over, her eyes dragging over your figure and then turns back to her computer. You scoff at her and turn away to leave.
“I wouldn’t say that outfit is work appropriate.” You turn back towards her with a look of shock, you honestly didn’t think she would talk to you.
“Excuse me, why is that?” She quirks a brow and smirks.
“You can see your nipples, Y/N. It’s distracting and very inappropriate.” You gasp as you look down and see she is in fact correct. Damn it. Luckily you have a spare shirt in your office.
“Okay well, my bad. I didn’t know. I’ll change in my office.” She clears her throat as you cross your arms trying to cover up.
“I think you knew.” You look at her with disdain.
“What, Carol, no I didn’t. I have some dignity you know.” She hums and turns back to her computer.
“No I didn’t know that, I thought you lost it all that night.” You look at her shocked and step inside her office and close her door. No one needs to hear this.
“You have something you want to say to me, Carol?” She rolls her eyes at you and doesn’t looks away from her computer. You walk up to her desk dropping your purse in the chair across from her and place your arms on the desk, leaning towards her.
“Well?” She looks up at you then with a cold glare making you step back shyly and sit in the chair, crossing your legs. She looks down at your crossed legs.
“Did that turn you on?” Your mouth gapes open at her question. You stutter out a chuckle and shake your head.
“N-No, not at all.” By the way she looks at you you know she doesn’t believe you. She’s right you were turned on, you always were when you’re around her. I mean, fuck, she’s attractive. But that look, she’s never looked at you coldly before. There was always warmth in her eyes, it wasn’t until that night that she lost some of it. You have yet to see any warmth in her eyes yet, only coldness and it kind of hurts. You miss the warmth.
“You’re a terrible liar, Y/N. There is no use trying to with me and you know it.” You sigh and look away from her to gather your thoughts.
“Listen, Carol. I’m sorry about that night, okay? You didn’t deserve it at all. I just- as important as you are to me you just can’t give me what I need in other areas of my life.” You look back at her to see her chewing on her nail looking at you in contemplation.
“What if I could?” You gape at her.
“What do you mean?” She leaned back in her chair and crossed her legs, placing her hands on her knee. You struggle not to squirm in your chair and give her anymore reason to confirm you are in fact turned on.
“What I mean is that I’ve been doing some research, reading and watching. Mainly watching and I’ve realized some things. Like maybe I could do these things to you.” You scrunch your brows together in confusion.
“So what you’re saying is you could possibly do that to me? You’re not entirely sure though?” She nods slowly.
“Yes. That is what I’m saying.” You uncross your legs and lean forward.
“Look, Carol. You don’t have to do this okay? You don’t have to completely change a huge part of you to please me. If you’re not entirely sure that means you still have doubts and that wouldn’t work. Besides I’m kind of spoken for.” She sighs and goes back to her work on the computer.
“Yeah well your chick is fucking crazy.” You smile at the mention of Nat.
“She’s not too bad, really.” She looks at you with a straight face.
“She could’ve killed me, Y/N. Do you not get that?” You roll your eyes at her.
“Yes I do, okay? I wouldn't let her kill you anyways, she would listen to me.” She gives you a look of indifference.
“Could you confidently say she would listen to you?” You look away and stare at her wall. It took all of 20 seconds for you to realize that she most likely wouldn’t listen to you. She always calls the shots, for good reason, she has the weapons and you’re always indecisive about everything.
“No,” You sigh and put your head in your hands, “you’re right, Carol, she would never listen to me, unless I safeword. Or in the throes of passion really.” You give Carol a sheepish look as she shoots you one of disgust.
“Sorry. She’s in charge, always. That’s what I like though, you know? Someone to take charge and give me what I need. No questions asked.”
“I guess I’ll never get my chance, huh?” You pout and get up to walk around and give her a hug.
“You never know, Carol. We had fun while it lasted though, you know? You’ll always be my Daddy even if I’m no longer your baby girl.” She pulled away from the hug and leaves her arms around your waist. She gives you a small smile.
“I didn’t mean it, Y/N. I said that to hurt you and I’m sorry. You’ll always be my baby girl. No one could replace you.” Tears prickle at your eyes as you lean down to kiss her. You know you shouldn’t but you couldn’t resist her cute face. You lazily make out with her for some time before a knock at her door interrupts the kiss. You pull away from her wiping your lips to get rid of her spit as she does the same before allowing the person entrance. Wanda, your secretary, walks in.
“Sorry to interrupt but Tony would like to see both of you in his office.” You thank Wanda and tell her you’ll both be there shortly. You both looked at each other warily before making your way to his office. He turns around in his chair as you two walk in.
“Hey! My two favorite lesbians!” You both look at him with disinterest.
“Really, Tony? Come on what is it you needed from us.” He chuckles as you take charge. He puts his hands up in mock surrender as he smirks.
“Okay okay. Listen up you two we have a new, very important client who needs major help. So I’m sending you two, my best team, to help them.” Carol looks at you then back to Tony.
“Where?”
“Russia. It will be at least two weeks so pack accordingly.” You look at Carol with wide eyes.
“Two weeks?!” You slightly panic because you’re trying to separate yourself from Carol and this is not helping. Carol looks at you with a hint of sadness at your response.
“Can’t handle two weeks with me, Y/N?” Tony looks between you two with a look of delight.
“Is this a couples spat I don’t know about?” You look at him oddly.
“We are not a couple, okay. I just don’t think it would be healthy for us to go together is all.” You see Carol’s face drop and you flinch at your cold words. It’s what’s for the best, that’s what you keep telling yourself.
“That’s too bad, Y/N. You both leave tonight. So go home and get packing. Flight leaves at 8.” You sigh and nod your head making your way back to Carol’s office. You pick up your purse from the chair and turn around to find Carol right behind you.
“Geez, Carol, you scared me.” With your hand on your chest you try to calm your breathing. She looks at you with a soft expression.
“Right, Sorry, Y/N. I didn’t mean to. Um but I’ve got a lot to do before the end of the day. If you don’t mind?” She looks away from you awkwardly as she points to her door. You clear your throat to speak.
“Yes of course. I’ll see you tonight, then?” She nods her head and mumbled out a yeah before going to her desk. Your eyebrows cinch together as you leave for your own office. Well that was weird. The rest of your work day was a blur. You still felt a little guilty about how you treated Carol in Tony’s office, like she wasn’t human. It’s true though, what you said, it’s not good to be alone with her right now. You’ve already given her false hope by kissing her, it’s hard to resist her charm and that’s dangerous. You don’t want her to get killed. Once your day ended you quickly leave not even bothering to look and see if Carol was still in her office. Once home you go to your room and pack for two weeks worth of work. These two weeks are going to go on forever. You take a deep breath and look around for any last minute items. You see the gift Natalia gave you on your nightstand. The collar was still in the box untouched. You grab it and pack it into your suitcase, you never know when she’ll show up. You finish packing with enough time to get to the airport, you decide against asking Carol if she wanted to share an Uber. Knowing her she’s probably already at the airport. Once at the airport you check in and go through security. Once at your gate you see Carol already there with her nose in a book. You walk right past her and sit on the opposite side of her crossing your legs. Carol looks up from her book and eyes you precariously.
“Why are you sitting all the way over there, Y/N?” You sigh and look at her face weighed down with sadness.
“This is already awkward, Carol. Why make it worse?” She rolls her eyes and pats the seat next to her.
“Get your pretty ass over here, we can still be friends.” You bite your lip before realizing you were being irrational. You sit next to her and looked down at her book and you gasp.
“Carol! What the hell are you reading!” She smirks and she flipped the page of her magazine hidden inside the book to show a picture of a woman with her holes stuffed and hogtied in a bed.
“It’s this new bdsm magazine I subscribed to during my research and self discovery. I find it quite pleasurable to read.” Your face turns red at this new information and you struggle not to look at it as you quickly grow wet. Out of the corner of your eye you see her continue to peruse her magazine. You nearly jump out of your skin when they announce your plane is ready to board. You hear Carol laugh at your reaction. She packs up her magazine and heads onto the plane. You take a few deep breaths before you follow her. You’re both seated next to each other and an hour into the flight she finally stops reading her magazine. You sigh in relief, god you couldn’t take it anymore. Your eyes widen as she pulls out a different bdsm magazine.
“For fucks sake, Carol, how many are you subscribed to?!” She shushes you and opens her magazine, your eyes looking anywhere but the magazine.
“I have five subscriptions to different magazines. You know, enough to keep me entertained on this flight until bedtime that is.” You look at her flabbergasted.
“Who are you and what have you done to my Carol?” She laughs and stops her flipping of pages to look at you.
“Why, Y/N, this is me. I’m still the same me as I always have been but now I know more about myself. Thanks to you and your crazy Mommy.” Your breath hitches at Nat’s preferred title.
“Oh my god.” She chuckles at your response and brushes a hand over your cheek and down to close your mouth that was agape.
“Now you hush, baby girl. Daddy’s busy.” You flush crimson as Carol returns to her magazine. It’s okay only nine more hours until you can breathe. For most of the flight you couldn’t sleep. This new side to Carol throwing you off balance. You weren’t entirely sure if she was serious or pulling one over on you. As you go to baggage claim to grab your bags you walk a fair distance away from Carol. This was all too much right now. You’ve been claimed by Natalia yet you really wanted to see if Carol could do all that to you. You shake your head and find your bags. This is dangerous thinking you can’t sleep with Carol otherwise you would definitely get her killed. Another part of you thinks well what if Nat didn’t find out. You knew she would though she knows all apparently. You see Carol waiting at the front next to your chauffeur who will take you to the hotel. She smiles at you and you nod back. You see her face scrunch up in that cute way she has when she’s confused and you internally smile. Once situated in the cab she turns towards you.
“Are you okay, Y/N?” You look at her and smile at her concern.
“Yes I’m okay, Carol. It was just a really long flight and I’m kind of tired.” She nods in understanding.
“Of course we have time for a little nap before heading to our first meeting at one.” You sigh in relief and lean your head back on the seat closing your eyes. Carol nudges you awake once the cab pulls up to your hotel. Once inside you make your way to the front to check in.
“There should be two rooms under Stark.” Carol leans against the desk to speak to the concierge and you can’t help but stare. She’s wearing a two piece yellow workout outfit and it hugs in all the right places. You can peek at her abs from this view and you thoroughly enjoy it. She glances over at you and smirks.
“You got some drool right there, babe.” She points to the corner of her mouth and your eyes shoot up to hers in embarrassment as you wipe the drool off of your mouth. The concierge clears his throat making you both look to him.
“I’m sorry ma’am but it looks like there’s only one room for Stark.” You shake your head a bit and scoff.
“Tony fucking Stark. Please tell me it’s at least two beds?” The concierge shakes his head.
“No ma’am. One king.”
“Fuck.” Carol looks at you in amusement.
“Thank you, sir. We can handle one bed. We’ve done it many times before.” He nods his head and hands her the key cards.
“You have a nice stay, ma’am.” She gives him a warm smile and makes her way towards the elevator. You frown and slowly follow behind. The elevator ride was filled with so much tension it was hard to breathe. Once you two make it to your room you immediately fall into the bed.
“Wake me up when we have to go or you know don’t.” You hear Carol chuckle and climb in next to you.
“I set an alarm because I plan on sleeping too. So scooch over, Y/N.” You whine as you comply and stop taking up the entirety of the bed. You quickly fall asleep dreaming about two confusing women taking you roughly. A blaring alarm breaks you out of your dream.
“Carol! Turn it off!” You groan as you hear her laughing at your grumpiness.
“Wake up, sleepyhead, we have a meeting to prepare for.”
“Give me sleep, Carol. We are prepared.” You feel her give your ass a harsh slap and you turn around in shock. She raises her eyebrows and places her hands on her hips.
“What the hell, Carol?! You can’t just do that anymore!”
“Maybe if you weren’t such a brat and did what you were told, that wouldn’t have happened. So get up before it happens again.” You roll your eyes and get up making your way to the bathroom. Whilst in the shower you couldn’t get Carol out of your head. She was confusing you with her new found desires. Once finished you get dressed for your meeting at some company. One whose name you can’t quite remember. You walk back into the bedroom where you see Carol ready to go. She smiles at you and grabs her briefcase.
“You ready to save this company?” You return her smile and raise a hand she chuckles and meets you in a high five.
“Hell yeah!” You grab your briefcase as well and follow her out the door. The ride to the company wasn’t too long and you and Carol had a nice conversation, well argument over who the cutest Jonas brother is.
“It’s obviously Kevin, Carol. He’s definitely the sweetest as well and I would marry him in a heartbeat.” She scoffs at you.
“No it’s obviously Joe!” You roll your eyes and cross your arms.
“Whatever.” She laughs and pokes your cheek.
“Aw, you know it’s true, Y/N. No need to pout.” You slap her hand away and look out the window of the car. Once the car pulls up in front of the business Carol is still laughing at her win.
“You didn’t win that argument, Carol. Lesbian opinions don’t matter.” She smirks as you shut the car door.
“Okay so your opinion doesn’t count either.”
“I’ve been a fan of theirs for over ten years. My opinion counts!” You point your finger into her chest. She puts her hands up in surrender.
“Okay okay you win.” You sigh in relief.
“Thank you. Now let’s go kick some ass. Well save some ass.” She chuckles and leads the way into the building. She opens the door for you and you make your way inside. Your mouth drops open at the beautiful interior. Carol catches up to you as you stop outside of some double doors.
“What kind of company is this again?” Carol shakes her head as you see shiny hardwood floors with barres along the mirrored walls.
“I don’t know, Y/N but maybe they have a ballet group for group bonding or something.” You shrug as you make your way to the front office. There sat an older woman with beady eyes.
“May I help you?” She says with a thick Russian accent.
“Yes we are here to meet with a Mr. Rusnak. We are here from the states with Stark Enterprise.” Her eyes widen in recognition. She points to a door down the hall.
“His office is right down there, he is expecting you.” You both curtly nod at her and make your way past her. Once at the door you hear a grunt. You and Carol both look at each other before she promptly knocks on the door. You both hear another grunt before a squealed enter makes its way to your ears. Carol raises her eyebrows as she turns the door knob. She makes her way in first and gasps you peek past her shoulder and your jaw drops. There sat Mr. Rusnak with a knife to his throat and face slightly beaten. Natalia’s head tilts in surprise.
“What a pleasant surprise, kitten. Oh look you brought Daddy with you.” Carol growls as she glares at Nat.
“What’s going on here?” You ask as you look at this situation in confusion.
“Shut the door, kitten.” You nod and shut the door. She waves her hand to the seats in front of the desk. You grab Carol’s arm and usher her into a seat. Once you’re both seated Nat digs the knife deeper into his throat making him groan as tears escape his eyes.
“You two arrived just in time. Now he won’t die alone.” Your eyes widen as you and Carol look at each other in shock.
“What the fuck is going on?” Natalia eyes Carol in disbelief.
“It’s simple, you idiot. This asshole is going to die and now you will decide how he’s going to die. If you don’t you die too, is that clear?” Your eyes widen as you look at Carol.
“Don’t do this, Mommy.” Nat smirks at the name falling from your lips.
“He has to die, kitten. You can help too if you like since you care so much for her.” Her smirk turns into a dark grin at the paleness on both of your faces. Your hand falls to Carol’s grasping it tightly.
“Shall we play a game?”
