This skykid here is who I like to call “krill kid”, a name he’s not too fond of cause it refers to his krill like horns and red eyes, which he’s extremely self-conscious of. He’s been bullied for them, a lot, to the point where he avoids other skykids now and prefers to hide away in some of the hollowed out roots beneath the trees in forest or tucks himself away in some of the caves near the ark.

Really tho, his name is Kaiser, but is often called names like “Krill-Kai” or “krill kid” or “half krill”. Often introduces himself as just “Kai”.

How he got those features is A, he’s an Eden born, and B, immediately after birth, he was krilled (had landed in a krill’s spotlight), thus giving him these features. He’s still considered a child of the light, although mistaken by many to be a child of the dark due to his appearance.

The kid was one of the newer recruits in Hollis' regiment, and he swore up and down that he could "do lightning bolts real good." To his credit, he did! He was just shit at everything else.
