St. John's Wort - Anointing Oil

A basic oil. Take the fresh flowers and place them in a suspension of olive oil. Don't dry the flowers out. Remove the flower from the plant and place directly into the suspension.

This oil is great for opening the psychic centers or for vivid prophetic dreams. You can anoint your forehead or rub it all over your body.

Note: If you are taking anti-depressants or other psych meds please check the manufacturer's literature. St. John's Wort can have ill effects if mixed with certain meds. Please take all meds as directed by your physician. Don't stop taking them without medical supervision.

I stumbled upon this photo, taken in 1940, in our Clarence Darrow collection and had to do a bit of digging. Turns out books are hard to agitate, and Noble tried many times to call on the famous lawyer on the anniversary of his death (this article was published five years after the above photo was taken).

I really believe that things would have been much better if anyone had presented/put the idea in Cersei's head to just Be A Dude. Just be trans, dude. Tywin would have probably thought "oh shit, a free son" (cost-efficient; new heir to replace failson Jaime who used to be obsessed with knights and shit, doesn't have to consider Tyrion for any matter relating to the inheritance of Casterly Rock). Like, honestly, it would have been swag.

hey, you know a lot about suspicious/dangerous cults-- what do you think of the Esoteric Catholic Church of America? I read through their webiste (https://panhalla.wixsite.com/panhalla) and ho boy there seems to be a non-zero number of Red Flags. New Age stuff, selling cures (they don't claim they're cures, but they are clearly supposed to help you a lot), and certain underlying christian vibes that make me go "hmmmm".

i'd like to hear your thoughts on them, if you don't mind. (i also sent an ask about them to @cryptotheism, because i was curious if they had knowledge on the history side of things as well)

Never heard of 'em before, but I figured I'd give 'em a look, and. Welp. I'd stay far away from these guys.

First of all I love that they call themselves "Catholic" and then go around doing so many heresies. Like hello, no, what you're doing here... this isn't Catholicism anymore, lol.

And yeah, basically this is New Age Christianity, with your appropriation of Kabbalah and chakras, dodgy practices like past life regressions, and loads of products that probably won't work as advertised.

I searched them up and found their Yelp page. No bad reviews, but it's obvious that this "church" is basically just a metaphysical business, selling products and services. Their Facebook page is full of product promotion. Running an actual church with services and everything and selling spiritual/metaphysical products like this absolutely creates a conflict of interest. (And BTW, the actual Catholic Church frowns upon that sort of thing.)

So yeah, loads of red flags here, would not recommend.
