if you reshuffle things and film things out of order (like 8x5 and 8x6 for example) because you want the relationship beats of 8x5 to make the breakup hurt more.... why?

if you want the breakup to hurt you want the audience to care about it. you want them to feel it. you want them to invest enough to care that it's happening. so why are you asking people to invest in a relationship enough to care that it's ending if it was always meant to end, or if buck is just going to quickly rebound or tommy was just a stepping stone or it isn't supposed to matter or..... why ask them to care about this specific relationship and this breakup?

So gmmtv can still make a DVD boxset, but only for their concerts/events and won't make it for their series. I noticed the LoL fanfrst 2025 is getting a DVD boxset

I'm curious about who decided it was the new business model to follow from now on and why make the move 🤔. The funniest thing is that they just decided to switch to memorial boxset without giving any good explanation.

Was it because it wasn't profitable? Do the concerts/events DVD sell better than series DVD?

Why does it have to validate your worth as an "author" to be published by a renowned publishing house? Why do the masses have to grant you this honorific or, on the other hand, take it away from you? Writing is an art and publishing it before a null or immense public does not make you any more or less "author", because you are an author, but the need for validation that society demands in order to respect you as such is simply humiliating (and yet, in order to rob you, they do not skimp on validation).

Once Danny was an adult, he decided to join Ellie in her ‘permanent world tour’. It’s better than staying in Amity where the opinion of Phantom hasn’t gotten much better. Besides, the portal caused the veil to get weaker, allow ghost to wreak havoc where ever they want.

He’s met a lot new ghost cause of this too. Old as Mycenaean Greece to non humans who came to Earth and died there. Danny’s learnt so much from them that he’s basically a walking in Encyclopaedia.

So, Danny’s decided “fuck it.” and has it became a part-time history teacher. It’s fun! He knows the details by heart and is able to make it more fun than just droning on about the same old wars and whatever. He enjoys it, the kids enjoy it and the ghosts having their stories told!

Of course, this does cause some problems when people try to correct him. Danny’s argument? “I got them correct sources.”

And when anyone asks him how knows his sources are correct? “My source was there when it happened.”

Cue the dc world thinking that Danny’s just some immortal guy whose decided to use his immortality for good(TM)

the human experience is wild because, like, yes, I could go to work or take a shower or make dinner, but also, on the inside churns this constant, multi-year loop of “what do my parents hurt about?” “will I ever fix my relationship to my body image?” “I have so much devotion in me and know how irresponsible it is to hand out freely.” “why do I still feel like such a child?” “nobody in charge of this world seems scared enough.” “stability is a small desire, but I don’t know if I can dream any bigger.”

and I have a feeling, even as we check out at the grocery store or roll our eyes at a stoplight or open the door to someone at the coffee shop, all around us are other people heavy with the same running worries.

it feels pretty obvious now (to me at least) that they were planning for 8x09 to be the actual midseason finale. makes me wonder if there will be any references to bucktommy and/or the breakup in the two eps coming out of the break. also notable, to me, tim pointing out buck will rebound with a short-lived relationship, but nothing about how he'll handle the breakup going forward after that? is the fact tim was quick to mention it would be short-lived because it's short-lived for plot reasons (the new LI is the person who kidnapped maddie?) or we're going to see buck cycle through new LIs again?

(also the fact there won't be a time jump coming out of the break but there could be one later in the season kind of stands out too.)

I'm not sure about requests..I assume you mean drawing requests? I suppose if it REALLY catches my interest enough, I'd do it, but it'd probably just be line art/sketches.
