sometimes i think about ur “u text sero back late and the crazy in him double texts to go ‘what round yall on’” post and laugh so hard.

sero has always seemed like such a laid back kinda guy to me, handsome and tall and fit and way too smooth (how’s he always getting away with quipping at bakugou huh) once grown into himself, but him having crazy in him is not something i knew i needed until this. it’s the way he really would express it that way too lmaoo

im such a firm believer in the loverboy sero thing that i just dont think he's very good at managing his jealousy in the thick of it lmaoo. he tries so hard!!!!

like later on its a little more chill but when you're in like. a situationship w him (which imo you often are. imo i think sero is hard to date because he is oddly busy - both as a hero but also because he's smart and has a lot of business for the longterm lol) and as a result he tends to lean towards fast and kind of casual sex relationships

and for a while it works. but the thing is you and sero are just so compatible. as friends and as fuck buddies. and it becomes such a huge problem for him overall because once he really thinks about you he thinks you're perfect for each other. like you are perfect. and that attraction spills over him to being so snarky and catty when you're with other guys lol which is so unlike him because he's so fucking nonchalant otherwise!!

he is SUPER laid back and i also think a little detached about romance. i think you're probably his first serious connection that doesn't like. fizzle out within a few months, partially because things are so low stakes and then because he is just so super attracted to the kind of person you are and he just. spirals lmao

he is not a crazy bf !!! he really really is as u describe but he has Moments pre-relationship that make him soooo territorial. i do not think he is above fucking you in public about it why lie !

alternate universe shameless but it's about the milkovich family. they dont tone down terry, he's a nazi and a child molester. they show you all the trauma those siblings went through.

but they also show you when mandy, age 5, came home with a bruised knee, colin and iggy tracked down who pushed her at school and made his face bleed. or when mickey always made sure to block her door when he knew terry would be black out drunk, sadly he wasnt always there to protect her. or when their mother left and mandy started to cook so her brothers would be cared for. they show you the love bubble the siblings had to create in order to survive in this household. they also show you the awful coping mechanisms, the violence, the ptsd.

when did they all realize their life was fucked? when did they stop trying at school? mickey is shown to be quick with maths and he is also an artist and they never show that part of him. maybe one of them played an instrument (garage punk band era anyone?) but eventually had to stop to keep up with terry's shady activities. perhaps jamie and mickey knew they were both gay but never actually dared talk about it, but then on their wedding day jamie made sure all the guests were properly guided to the venue.

"Harvey was living in the same apartment building as Tork, at 35 Bedford St., and they cemented a friendship that had started earlier. 'We’re still very, very good friends,' she said. Through a girlfriend at one of the art galleries, Harvey also go to know David Crosby. He and Tork were responsible for getting Harvey to move West. 'He [Crosby] fell in love with my girlfriend and took her back to California. Then Peter got this Monkees thing and moved there. Everybody was trying to get me to come to California, and so I eventually went,' Harvey says. 'She came because I asked her to,' Tork confirmed during a phone call from California. 'I can’t actually say she was my girlfriend. She was my roommate. She came back and forth for a while. I’m an old fan of hers from way, way back. Karen is a wonderful singer.' Although she eventually got her own apartment, Harvey spent much of her time at Tork’s house, under the famous 'Hollywood' sign. 'I was handling a lot of affairs of the house because he [Tork] was working like a slave,' Harvey said. 'TV work is no picnic.' With the increasing amount of money and fame through the Monkees’ TV show, Tork moved to a bigger house (once owned by actor Wally Cox) in Studio City. They also needed more room because Tork, Harvey and Robert Hammer, who directed the horror film 'Don’t Answer the Phone,' had formed a film company called Breakthrough-Influence, whose work included videos for Crosby, Stills and Nash, and Steve Miller. (Hammer is also the father of Harvey’s son, Justin, 22; she has another son, Domin, 11, by a member of Sail-Joia.) 'It was in that [Studio City] house that Lowell George from Little Feat used to rehearse, and that was the house that the Beatles came to,' Harvey said. 'Jimi Hendrix came to both [houses] because he was a real good friend right up until he died.' Of the Beatles, only Ringo Starr and George Harrison dropped by the Studio City home, Tork recalled. 'We went swimming for a while in the pool.' 'I slept through it,' said Harvey of the visit. 'I though they would hang around a little and I was just real slow about it and they left. I was hanging out with every superstar in the book, and they were just average people to me. Peter Tork was very, very generous, and his house was an open house.' To make up for her missing the Beatles, Harvey said, Tork suggested they go to England to visit them. It was New Year’s Eve 1968 [sic]. She remembers that her son, Justin, who was a toddler then, played bongos with Harrison at Apple Records. 'We went to visit George,' Tork said. 27. Who is the most stressful character you’ve ever written? Why?

Oh this is super interesting!

Hmm. You know sometimes it's 'whoever I'm writing in the moment' but there's definitely standouts.

Augus in Smoke in Autumn is stressful because I have to go into a kind of very analytical, sadistic mindspace to really hook into the way he's thinking and what he wants to do next. And there's a coldness to it and a detachment to it which I sometimes want to resist or change or alter, and while some of that will change, I have to remember to stay anchored in his character. So I can never quite relax while writing him.

I think otherwise though, Connor and Cullen are probably up there, because they're both such contrary characters that I really had to fight them sometimes in the narrative to go in the direction I wanted. And what I mean by that is that often before sitting down to write a chapter, I've road-tested around 1-5 different scenarios and picked the best one. Cullen and Connor frequently forced me to road-test up to 20 with no success, because none of them let me get to where I wanted to get to. They feel like the algebra version of writing characters.

And I would say obviously Mallory and Mount from Mallory & Mount because otherwise we'd have chapters of that by now.

I feel like I'm missing some. I definitely think Eran, actually, because he was such a...Seelie-minded individual and I was writing a kind of character that didn't come naturally to me. Eran taught me that I don't really enjoy writing 'baby doms' very much, and it's like welp, lesson learned!

   As the day, spent watching the city from the high-rises, went on it had become clear to Erik that the kid he’d somehow assumed parental babysitting duties for was extremely tired. Whether it was the needs of a growing boy or the result of swinging from rooftops the mutant couldn’t quite say, but when Peter had started to drop off next to him, hanging upside down like some kind of bat, Erik couldn’t keep his mouth shut about it any longer.

   Which is how they had ended up here, Peter crouched on the edge of the sink in his pyjamas ( – Erik has given up telling him not to climb on furniture – ), toothbrush in hand, spraying toothpaste across the room while he attempts to talk a mile a minute. The mutant-leader leans against the doorframe, listening as best he can, making sure Peter actually brushes his teeth and doesn’t completely distract himself. He’ll put the boy to bed and then head out once he’s fallen asleep— at least, that was the plan, right up until now, when he can hear the key turning in the front door.

As promised, my post on the lobby yesterday

Over 3000 showed up to lobby their member of Parliament and urge them to vote for the Scottish National Party's motion for an immediate ceasefire, to replace the current government motion for a stop of humanitarian aid.

The motion did not pass, in fact it did not even get voted on. Which is what the MPs came there to do.

"As the war in Gaza continues to cause death, destruction, and terror, with over 30,000 people reported dead so far, British MPs couldn't even decide how to decide what they think about it"

The thousands of people who waited outside Parliament were left in the wind and rain with no explanation, as security let very few of us in. I was there 3 hours and got nowhere near the front, people AT the front said they did not get in. The MPs knew we came to lobby. We have a right to lobby and speak to our MPs. We organised and showed up in our thousands, but Parliament didn't accomplish anything. What is the state of democracy in this country?

People of the UK, KEEP SHOWING UP FOR PALESTINE. Make the national demonstration on Saturday 9th March the biggest so far. Spread the word of it everywhere, encourage people you know to show up.

Our government is pathetic and spineless and they are panicking under our pressure. ONE HUNDRED (!) Labour MPs were planning to rebel against their leader and vote for immediate ceasefire. Do not let up.

husk's watching angel with saddened eyes. he doesn't move from his spot from behind the bar, let his confession sink in. because it was true━ somehow, he had fallen into the web that was caring for angel. he didn't want angel for any of the reasons he expected━ shocking for a man who's sin was greed, perhaps his shackles had beaten him down so much he couldn't find himself wanting for reasons like that anymore.

maybe it was because he knew damn well no one wanted to just be angel's friend. maybe it was because he was shackled down just as he was, and he knew at least how that felt. but it was so painfully true━ husk just wanted to be angel's friend. and he wouldn't take that back, even as he watched in almost real time as angel pushed him further away.

            ❝ you're still acting. ❞ husk commented plainly, but he doesn't push it further, doesn't explain himself. he should've expected his words not to be taken well, not with angel so far gone in his own lack of self-esteem.

            ❝ don't want me to be your friend ? that's fine. just can't say i didn't try. ❞ its clear husk's own walls were coming back up. he was too vulnerable too long for comfort, and his vulnerability wasn't being taken well anyways. no reason to keep them down any longer. even so, his tail and wings hung low and ears pressed back as he attempted to turn his attention back to cleaning.
