one of my favorite headcanons of all time is that sozin and ta min had a bitter rivalry but only when roku wasn't paying attention. imagine that gravity falls clip of dipper and robbie death glaring each other while wendy's distracted and then acting civil when she's back. it's That. they put it aside for roku's sake but the moment he's gone ta min takes the opportunity to roast sozin hard. if it weren't for the diplomatic immunity granted to her as the avatar's spouse, he'd have her removed, but he can't. she's his problem for the rest of roku's life.
