I felt so seen when I first read pjo and it mentioned Annabeth’s arachnophobia. I used to have so many nightmares when I was younger (probably started when I was around five or six), I would wake up in the middle of the night and be so terrified of moving because I thought there were spiders all over my bed. The shadows on my popcorn ceiling looked like spider figures and I remember just laying there sweating and not making a sound because I thought it would attract the spiders I guess? It was routine for me to shout for my mom—poor her, she would be woken at 2 in the morning like thrice a week— and she’d always shake my sheets and lay with me until I feel asleep. She would also take me to sleep with her and my dad in their massive bed (who was I to say no to the invitation?) and it got to the point where I was embarrassed that I couldn’t sleep a whole night without someone. Occasionally, I still have these nightmares about spiders and I just turn on a light, go to the bathroom, come back, and pretend it never happened.

Idk, just thinking about that. I kind of had forgotten about those nightmares but I don’t play when I see spiders because I know it means I’m going to dream about them.

I just recently found out I'm demisexual (yay! everything makes a lot more sense now!) and I felt compelled to share some of the convos I had about this matter with my very allosexual husband.

Demi (renting in frustration): Like... I've never understood how can people get seduced. I've always thought it was only an exaggeration for the sake of a movie or a story... Not a real thing!

Allo (very matter of factly): So you thought it's like when someone in a movie gets punched and they fly away.

Dick catches Jason heading out of town as his civilian identity late at night and asks where he's going.

Jay casually turns to face him and says "Oh, just Ghost Club." and then dissappears in a flash of lime green.

Dick is obviously EXTREMELY confused and concerned, but doesn't report it to the others because Jason's secretive enough as is and he'd rather not risk losing his trust again. He finds Jason heading inside one of his safehouses around three hours later as if nothing happened.

He notices it happening a few more times, figuring out his routine, and eventually decides that yeah, this is definitely something he needs to inform the others about. They eventually manage to sneak a tracker onto him without him finding it first, and checking the location, finds that it gets glitch for a short short while before appearing in the middle of nowhere Illinois, in a city called Amity Park.

Dick eventually goes in person to see what the fuck this "ghost club" actually is, and finds Jason and a guy he later identifies as Danny Fenton arguing about a game of Monopoly and talking to seemingly no one as various cards and pieces float around as if there were invisible people also playing.

TLDR: Jason goes out for board game nights in Amity with Danny and a few other ghosts, the Batfam is EXTREMELY confused why he's randomly dissappearing for a few hours every week for something he calls "ghost club"

bonus: I think the ghosts should be a few members of Danny's rogues gallery like Boxy and Lunch Lady as well as a few people from the DC verse like Bruce's parents.

I've been rewatching Mushishi and hhh this series is everything to me..!! One thing I just love so much is how it could've been so easy to make Ginko a quiet, brooding and all-knowing, morally pure type of mysterious guy, but he's so not?

He's expressive and funny and likeable and calming and kind of rude! He genuinely cares, but doesn't always fulfil his promises. He's very smart and has a ton of knowledge, but he very often doesn't have the answer to a problem. Sometimes he even gives advice or takes steps that end up doing more harm than good. He's also not above pranking, haggling and downright scamming people lmao.

In conclusion, I love him very much and would like to be his friend :3

I’m gonna be honest I don’t know what’s going on 90% of the time

You know the thing that gets me most about the "Ric Grayson arc" is it honestly had potential to be very meaningful. Dick is said over and over again to be a linchpin in the hero community he's been a hero since he was 8-9. He grew up around many of the older heroes and sidekicks his age and later mentored and became a big brother figure to others. So to see how the other superheroes would react to him being shot in the head and then not being able to remember anything could be gut wrenching. It could show just how loved Dick is with the other heros and how it would be so devastating. However we only really get to see the Batfamily react to it and even then it's not the whole Batfamily it's mostly Barbara, Bruce, Alfred, and Damian that even get a chance to react at all. And then he moves back to Bludhaven and no one thinks to check on him? He's one of the most connected heroes and no one outside of Gotham thinks to check on him? You're telling me Superman, who watched him grow up and told him the story of Nightwing, wouldn't check up on him? You're telling me the Titans, who he is best friends with and are their leader, Wouldn't check on him? Especially Donna who is basically his platonic life partner and sister figure or Wally who both consider to be each other's best friends.

I also imagine they wouldn't be happy about the fake Nightwings that were running around. Not only for the danger it would present to the ordinary civilians dressed up as Nightwings but also the emotional punch in the gut that your friend isn't himself and there are others out there wearing his costume and trying to be him. Imagine the anger, the hurt, the sadness. Imagine people like Superman or the Titans showing up and wanting to put a stop to it. But no we get none of that.

That's the thing that gets me with this storyline is besides it just being really sucky and far too long. I see the potential that it could have had. It could have gone in a billion different ways that made it more impactful and heartbreaking but no we got none of that and I'm disappointed.

ok ok so..! i call her ex-wife, literally just so i can make the "i miss my wife tails" joke but more accurately she's actually his ex-fiancée! now im trusting myself not to share too much because eventually i wanna write this all out:

This is a y/n au!! They have a tiny bit of established lore that I'm reusing from what was initially a separate au that I combined with the sugar daddy au 'cause why not? I've been meaning to share some doodles I have for them but I've had no time/motivation

Now, I'm waving my hand vaguely here for this next bit: Eclipse only got into sugaring/sugar dating AFTER he and his ex-fiancée broke things off for good. It wasn't on good terms and there wasn't much of a proper goodbye from either. He's grateful that Atlas was too young to understand it or know what was happening; with his ex-fiancée gone, Eclipse had to be both "mom" and "dad" for the kid.

Sugar dating, for Eclipse, is a means to scratch that itch for companionship and intimacy- even if only superficial. It makes the loneliness sting a bit less for him. Of course, he still desires to be in a genuine relationship! Though it doesn't help that when his personal feelings do get involved, he gets hurt every time.

By the time y/n comes into the picture, Eclipse will have been sugaring for a while.
