Some Saw traps are just impossible, don't make sense, and/or have bad reasoning behind them (spoilers as usual)

A big major example of a saw trap that is supposed to be possible but is just impossible/extremely hard is the Classroom Trap from Saw 3. Troy had a a hook through his jaw, how is he supposed to rip out his lower jaw?? Alongside this he had hooks through both of his Achilles tendons. And even if somehow he managed to get out of it, and exit the room within that time of 1 minute and 30 seconds, there is a huge chance he will bleed out. Another trap like this is the Angel Trap from Saw 3. Even if Allison was to get the key, how would she get the wires and such out from her ribs? Last trap (that I'll discuss) like this is the Brain Surgery Trap from Saw X. Within the time given (3 minutes), it would be impossible (or nearly impossible) to do that all without the time it took with Mateo's panicking. It doesn't make sense to give him 3 minutes to do all of that.

Bad reasoning has also been a BIG part of Saw. I'm not saying all traps have bad reasoning, but the some that do piss me off. For example the Razor Wire Maze in the first Saw movie. I feel like almost any trap where the person testing is being tested for "not appreciating life" is automatically a dumb reason. If anything, Paul should've gotten help rather than killed. Alongside this, the Spike Trap from Saw 4 and the Lawnmower Trap in Saw 3D have the same stupid reasoning. Both of them include people who were abusing their partner physically, and both of them include the person who was being abused. Now, I wouldn't have an issue if it was something like the abused person had to choose to let their abuser live or not, but not if it's the fact that the abused person and the abuser have to fight to live or not! In both of these scenarios the abused person is being testing for "letting themselves be abused", but there is no way they let themselves be willingly treated this way!

Uhm in summary Saw is a really good franchise, but some traps and reasoning PISS ME OFF. I do like the Chester Bennington cameo in Saw 3D because I really like Linkin Park . I just wanna mention that.

Hey so uh hot take maybe idk but uhm. The Yoosung incest jokes aren’t fucking funny!!!

This is something that literally no other fandom would casually joke about. I thought this was something we left back in 2017 but I had to put a dni in my bio because people STILL just casually make gross comments about him like that.

Yoosung has said more times that Rika was like an older sister/idol to him than I could count.

“In the bad end-” that’s just it. It’s the BAD end. You’re taking a single fucking NEGATIVE trait about him that YOU are responsible for and making it his entire character.

“He compared MC to Rika-” my brother in Christ that was BEFORE HE STARTED DATING THEM!!! HE STOPPED RIGHT AFTER IN THE GOOD/NORMAL END!!!

There’s a fat fucking difference between idolizing your role model and being in love with them.

Hell, if you even ask him about it in V’s route he gets offended (and reasonably so)

there’s some other examples too but I don’t feel like pulling up the examples especially since this is more of a person rant of my frustrations than anything.

Even if you were to use some dumbass argument like “he’s making excuses/lying because he feels called out” don’t you think that maybe just MAYBE he wouldn’t say that he wants to BE LIKE her?

He has an unhealthy obsession, that I won’t deny but fucking INCEST is crossing the line. This is an issue that I feel like people don’t take seriously enough and just making casual comments & jokes about it makes the problem worse. HOW and I mean HOW does the fandom not only still do this shit and act like it’s okay.

I would normally ignore issues like this but I see these jokes literally everywhere I fucking go. The Mysme post doesn’t even have to be remotely RELATED to Yoosung and yet people are like “he’s in love with his cousin lol” I am BEGGING you all to at least reflect on this because it’s extremely upsetting.

Anyways, I’d like to clarify that this post is a rant and not a debate. Please do not try to prove me wrong in any way because this is again, not a debate but me letting out my personal reflections relating to the subject matter at hand.

So before I effectively cancelled my period, I used to have cramps yk, like werewolf tearing up shit type cramps. And so I carried around Panadol in my bag because you can take it every four hours, and you bet your fucking ass I was counting down those minutes until the four hour mark to get my next dose in.

and i took my dose infront of a male acquaintance of mine, and he said “you shouldn’t do that, you might get addicted.”

I guess Assassin's Creed rule 34 rant but:

Genuinely.. is the Assassin's Creed fanbase, and I mean the original Desmond saga, doomed to not have almost any porn? Is it like a COD thing where the fans are usually so normie that you just don't get many creative types into it? I've been replaying 1, 2, and Brotherhood and even years ago I noticed how they made a lot of hot character models, especially from 2 onwards but even 1 has that random Templar chick that canonically fucks Altair after the events of the game.. I mean, Lucy, Rebecca, Caterina, Rosa the thief (and growing up I saw her as best girl), Cristina, both madams but especially Teodora, the courtesan default model, Alviano's wife in Brotherhood, obviously Lucrezia Borgia I mean jesus christ Lucrezia should be the number one, etc... but the few things that are there, some are very good and some are horrific (how did someone fuck up Rebecca that badly, or Teodora?) But mostly the franchise is slept on until around Odyssey and then all you see is like Odyssey and Valhalla running the bulk with various others thrown in here and there (a random Unity or Syndicate).. one of the sadder tragedies of something not getting rule 34'd much at all

Honestly I think the absolute dumbest argument in favor of cringe culture I see is people actually claiming it's healthy??? like what??? Being in absolute denial that you enjoyed something in the past or in the present just because other people dislike it and blatantly bully people because of it is- just glamorized self-hatred. Your interests are a part of you whether you like it or not. The best way to deal with that is to acceptance! Isn't acceptance always a good way to cope? I thought that was common sense. I just watched the first 4 episodes of Hazbin Hotel, and despite what people who DIDN'T EVEN WATCH IT think, I'm letting everyone know that I like it! Why? Because expressing my interests makes me happy! I know that a lot of people don't like Vivziepop, which is 100% understandable, but just because you don't like her work doesn't mean you should make other people who like it stray away from the things they like. Trust me I was literally told to kms because of a drawing of an undertale character that my friend gave me when I was 11 and that effected my mental health greatly. Not to mention I'm an autistic person and undertale happened to be a BIG PART of my life and who I am now so it genuinely felt like a personal attack. In conclusion, cringe culture, no matter what form it takes, isn't good!!! You should take pride in yourself AND your interests!!! Don't shame other people for their (harmless) interests, either!!!

I've ranted about this elsewhere, but I wanted to share the rant here, too.

Pictured is a Getzen trumpet. My Getzen trumpet, from my high school and college trumpet-playing days (along with all the mutes that went with it). To be fair, I haven't played it in decades. And, to be fair, I had left it in what I thought was the relative safety of my ex's attic. I have bins of stuff of hers; she had some stuff of mine. On Saturday, we finally orchestrated a long-sought-after (by me) exchange of stuff. While she had mentioned that there had been a leak in the roof several years back, she did not mention that the trumpet case had been soaked, and that she had never done anything - like, anything - to dry it out. So, my trumpet has been sitting in a soggy case for, literally, years. I mean, the case was still very heavy from water just sitting in it. As you can see, it did not hold up well to that.

As I said, I haven't played in years. But, that trumpet does have a soft spot in my heart. My dad bought it for me, back in the day, when it became apparent that I was a more than decent high-school trumpet player. Everyone else was getting a Bach; I got a silver Getzen; not only was it unique, but it was the same kind Doc Severinsen of the Tonight Show played. And when I showed up in school with it, it got a lot of "oooooos" and "ahhhs". (I've done some research over the weekend; it was (and is) a very good horn and I'm sure my dad spent a pretty penny on it, back in the day.)

But what really bugs me is that it just sat, in a wet case, for years. No care or consideration for it, at all. I mean, it's clear that it was never even opened after it got wet; it just sat in a soggy case. And in the meantime, I stored all of her stuff safely, in secure, water-proof bins, and I delivered those bins of pristine condition. Meanwhile, I get this. (There was another bin of computer programs and paperwork, also destroyed by water. All trashed now.)

Fortunately, a local music store specializes in instrument clean-up and restoration. I took the trumpet there today and the young woman in charge of fixing instruments assured me the horn was salvageable. It'll take some work, and about $350, but it's worth it to me. First of all, my dad got this for me, so there's a sentimental value to it. And, once I'm gone, someone can get something for the trumpet, because, in good shape, it's worth a lot more than $350.

But I'll never understand why people can't take care of things entrusted to them.

How I wish I could express my anger like my siblings/cousins or my parents do. Staying mad till it is not sort out or someone pays attention to it. Not addressing the other person till they explain themselves or apologize for it. I can't stay mad at anyone for a long time. I try to stay mad, but I fail everytime. When they are mad at something or irritated by some situation, they are given time to cool themselves. They have the attention. I understand their situation and give them space or try to console them. But when I am the one expressing my anger , disappointment or irritation towards something, I am ignored or just left out. Why can't they understand how I feel. It upsets me that no one ever tries to understand the situation. It's always assumed that the reason behind is stupid. Or I'm upset about something foolish. I want them to understand my situation even if it is something small. I want them to console me, explain, or consider my anger towards something. I treat people the way I wish people treated me. Why is it always assumed that only they can go through some emotions. Get disoriented or express their anger about something on something else. Can't that happen to me sometimes. Am I not allowed to process my anger. I do love them so much. But I only ask is, it's not only you who goes through anger or emotions, your kid maybe going through something, I'm not saying that pamper the kid or just be over conscious about it. At least consider their feelings. We are not saying that don't scold us when we are wrong or make us aware about our unnecessary behaviour. But when your kid is angry or cries or comes to you for just expressing their irritation. Just listen to them.
