What bothers me about some of the criticism against KCD is that these people are acting like Romance Club has never done this before — at least, that they have never done this in a way that matters.

By 'this' I am talking about the 'appropriation' of religious mythology. Kali: Call of Darkness is not the first RC story to use religious mythology as building blocks for a story. Rage of the Titans and Path of the Valkyrie also do this.

"But surely those don't matter? No one follows those religions anymore!"

Wrong. This is simply wrong. Sure, very few people today serve the Greek gods or the Norse gods, but some people still do. Hell, I have *met* people who worship these gods. These people's religions are no more or less valuable than any other. All human faiths are important in their own way.

So, whether you consider KCD to be religious appropriation or not is up to you. But consider how you have acted towards other religions, their history and their mythology.

Things are pretty uncertain right now, but I'm confident that DALS will be finished one way or another! They were looking for authors for The One and for POTV, right? I definitely don't think DALS would be just canceled, in the (gods forbid) chance Veronica leaves! 🥲 But yeah, I'm not sure when we'll see our book back and I'm being so so brave about it 🥲🙃 (lie)

Obviously RC offers multiple endings for every book, but what would you say is probably viewed as the "intended" path for each book, if that makes sense?

For example, Vixen seems to make the most sense for Sophie to take in STW since the point is basically for her to get out of her comfort zone. And though this may not necessarily mean anything, some books also seem to lean more towards one path than the other, like how CY has more Logic than Intuition points to accumulate in total, you can only defeat the circus in SoS if you're on the Caution/Starving Demon path, a good portion of HS1 is the demons just wanting to be seen as equal to the angels, and certain books like RotT and Qi30D only have one checkpoint for a specific path rather than the usual two or three.

Sails in the Fog I think is well-balanced, because it doesn't matter if it's in the path of White or Black Magic, the plot remains the same. Diplomatic and Strentgh also don't make much difference in the story, because both make a lot of sense.

Moonborn, Seduced by the Rhythm, Legend of the Willow, Dracula, Sins of London, Heart of Trespia, Theodora, Hell and High Water, The One, Psi, Vying for Versailles, Elite Tag, and for now Heaven's Secret 2 are in the same situation as SIF because it will only influence the MC's personality and not the plot. I think.

My Hollywood Story I think it's more a matter of how serious or funny you want your path to be. The difference between them goes from 100 to 0 very quickly. I think the stats don't influence the path in the end, they all lead to the same thing one way or another.

For Wave Patrol I think it leans more towards the Cautious path. I personally think it even makes sense for Kim's work.

Arcanum, I think they lean more on High Priestess and the Redemption path.

Love From Outer Space is a balanced path, but they lean more on the star's path (and make more sense too).

Path of the Valkyrie the Changes path makes more sense.

Gladiator Chronicles I'm not sure. Personality too? But there's mercy and cruelty, maybe for being a slave gladiator and seeking revenge the path of cruelty makes more sense, but I don't know.

KCD I have no idea

Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems received a U.S. Navy contract to supply two XQ-58A Valkyrie unmanned aircraft systems.

The $15.51 million contract granted to Kratos is for the acquisition and delivery of the two unmanned aerial systems with useful loads of sensors and weapons to carry out collaborative penetration attacks in an autonomous and accessible way - portfolio objectives, including non-recurring technical engineering services, system/subsystem integration, installation, testing, ground and flight operations, logistics and maintenance for the UAS

The work will be carried out at Kratos headquarters in Sacramento, California, and is expected to be completed in September 2023. The U.S. Naval Air War Aircraft Division in Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

The Kratos XQ-58A Valkyrie is a stealth experimental unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) designed and built by Kratos Defense & Security Solutions for the United States Air Force's Low Cost Attritable Strike Demonstrator (LCASD) program, through the USAF Research Laboratory LCAAT (Low Cost Attritable Aircraft Technology) project. The goal of LCAAT is to break the increasing cost trajectory of tactically relevant aircraft.

This partnership included the design and production of the aircraft by Kratos, while the AFRL Aerospace Systems Directorate provided the critical integration of the turbine entry, structural tests and evaluation of the electrical and control subsystems of the XQ-58. It was initially designated as XQ-222.

Valkyrie successfully completed its first flight on March 5, 2019 at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona.

The XQ-58 was designed to act as a "lean wing" that is controlled by a parent aircraft to perform tasks such as reconnaissance, defensive fire or absorption of enemy fire if attacked. The role of LCAAT is to escort the F-22 or F-35 during combat missions and be able to deploy weapons or surveillance systems.

The XQ-58 can be deployed as part of a drone swarm, with or without direct pilot control. Although the XQ-58 is capable of conventional takeoffs and landings, it can also be launched from "undefined launch modules", such as support ships, containers and semi-trailer trucks.

Kratos could produce between 250-500 Valkyries per year.

gladiator chronicles : I'm actually quite enjoying this one, I really like mc more male mcs pls rc!!, and I adore most the lis especially afiy & labelle, I'm having a hard time choosing between them 😅 and hotch & gars should be lis idc!!

heaven's secret : first story I ever played and also first I finished, so I'll always have a soft spot for it,, I really enjoyed it! very entertaining. plus I'm weak for luci

hell and high water : underrated AF and it's such a shame because it's so damn good!! I know some people are put off bc the boat talk which yeah I don't understand shit about it myself but use a walkthrough and you'll be good lol, and it's just like such chill vibes for an dystopian story, and it's comfy?? but it's not boring At All, the characters are awesome especially the lis and don't get me started on all the diversity & representation!!! I'm so excited to keep playing and see where it goes, also chand has my whole heart

kali: call of darkness : this one is hard to rate because I feel like it has so much potential but for reasons I don't love it like I wish I did/like I could.... 😬 I do like mc tho and have gotten quite infatuated with killian which I didn't really expect sorry bby!

legend of the willow : 11/10 best story best mc & best li (kazu) hands down!!!! it's funny bc when I first got the app and went through playing the first chapter for each story I didn't feel very interested in this one,,, but when I saw all the hype around it I wanted to see what that was about and god y'all weren't lying dhdjkfkdhs it's just SO GOOD, all the lis are amazing, with such depth, and the plot is so interesting,, I'm sad it's over, I miss it/them,,, kazu loml ❤️ his/mei's relationship is just.. *chef's kiss* plus the way their intimate scenes are written?? on a whole different level. I just can't say enough good things about this story; if you haven't played it yet PLAY IT I promise you won't be disappointed

moonborn : ngl I only binged through this to gain gems lol,, like it's not the worst, it's at least semi entertaining to play through, it's just .... yeah definitely not the best quality 👀 esp mc, looks and personality yikes

on thin ice : oh oti my beloved,, I also have a major soft spot for this one because it's the second story I ever played, and I relate to mc in many ways,, also all the lis are great well idrc for leon but he grew on me a bit and Tate!!! I adore him so so much he's truly the sweetest bestest boy and so good for mc 🥺 I cried when I finished it because I had gotten so attached to the story/mc/tate/the squad. maybe it's not the best but it's really good imo and yeah I loved it

path of the valkyrie : I had a feeling I'd really enjoy this one and I wasn't wrong,, it's very entertaining & I really like mc so much plus all the lis except idrc for vanadis srry I decided to stay loyal to my boy ullr (with no regrets!) but I was tempted by andvari and liod ngl 👀

rage of the titans : not the best but it's still quite fun and it's kinda one of my faves to play just bc murphy. period! like I don't have much to say about the story but I could gush about him for hours lol

sophie's ten wishes : I'm still angry at this one. I don't wanna spoil anything but ugh. definitely not one of my faves, though it was tolerable.. I mostly played to gain gems. I had a hard time picking an li bc I didn't love any but quite liked a handful (diego, logan, blake, haku, kinda benedict). brandy was the best part of the entire story

the flower of tiamat's fire : really love this one!!! it's probably my second fave after lotw, same with li (sin), and mc. I also really adore iyar so much I mayve been weak and kissed him once or twice🤭 but kingu owns my heartu. lastly, varassa deserved better and should've been an li I'll be forever bitter and upset

the one : okay there's only been a single ep of this so don't have much to say lol. looks like it'll be fun, if nothing else,, mc seems cool/funny, adorable free pet!, and so far just from initial introductions I'm interested in luca & deshawn , maybe adira & mona

wave patrol : I feel like Ive said this about pretty much all the earlier releases but,, not the best that's for sure, but also not horrible, at least somewhat entertaining. kinda annoying you can't end up with an li if you don't spend any gems but eh im not too bothered. also why wasn't storm an li?? 🤧

so yeah, there we go! all in all I'm very much enjoying and so glad I decided to download the app 😄

I currently consider these my Top 4 books

1. Arcanum

It quickly rose to my number one simply because the gothic horror themes and MC and her journey are so interesting. I definitely consider this one a must read. Plus season 1 finale will give you emotional damage in the best way

2. Legend of The willow

Stunning art, interesting MC and characters and also a good story. Plus this story has my wife Shino-Odori.

3. Heart of Trespia

Fantasy adventure book with some focus on politics. Plus LIs are all pretty alright

4. Path of the Valkyrie

Nordic mythology inspired action book. Plot gets confusing if you don't pay attention but pretty much every chapter something relevant and intense happens. Also the soundtrack slaps.

C TIER Aka Too much muscle

Penny Ver.2 : Penny Version 1 was pure metal (at least in my headcanon) so she was all legs no butt, however, Penny Version 2 (again in my headcanon) had synthetic skin, now I'm not saying Pietro is some weird pervert giving his child a fat ass, but he was "generous" which was inaccurate as...

Penny (human) : Penny as a human never had the chance to exercise [fuck you RT (T-T)], so her booty was a little lacking but it was still bigger and rounder than her robot body.

Winter : Training for the military helped null the taint of Jacques DNA in her, so she took a bit more of her mother’s blessed genes, her ass isn't exactly impressive like the girls in A TIER but it's nothing to scoff at either, unlike her sister (sorry Weissey).

Because unless you go in with the intention of choosing literally all white options, most of the recent books aren’t like that? There’s one book where you physically cannot be white (lotw), one book set in the Ottoman empire, one book where the LIs that show up most often and you can have a vaguely poly relationship with are black (stw), a book based on Norse mythology where the main female LI is a black woman with a non-normative body and fire for hair (patv). Most of the books are even based on different cultures. Sails in the Fog focuses on Mexican culture, dals on Ottoman and Romanian culture, lotw on Japanese culture, rott on Greek mythology, path of the Valkyrie on Norse mythology. Like?

Are you seriously trying to tell me choices is more diverse? Choices made by pixel “we have so many romance your boss books you maybe should look into our business practices” berry? Choices who has exactly one handful of characters who are racially diverse and it’s part of their character?

Like yeah maybe I could make all the love interests in choices’ recent books racially diverse, but they’re all still coded as white men and don’t in any way acknowledge their culture or race. Even with the ones who have diverse backgrounds (Mr John from tuh and Everett from slow burn) you can still make them white.

Like, I get it, you love choices, but you don’t have to put down other games to prove it. No one’s going to give you a gold star for shitting on something they love. Rainbow Six: Siege and why I love it.

History of Siege:

Rainbow Six: Siege is a tactical FPS game developed and published by Ubisoft (more specifically Ubisoft Montreal) during December 1st. The game is currently approaching the end of its third year and has reached around 35,000,000 (35 million) players, but it didn't start this way.

Siege's official gameplay trailer was shown at E3 is vastly different to the game upon release. The game trailer shows tactical and long rounds requiring large amounts of communication with little room for error, stunning graphics and interactive animation between the hostage and other players. No operators were shown indicating that originaly everyone would be the games current operator "Recruit" but with their own special loadout and no abilities with customisation likely being very limited.

The trailer ends with a standoff between a defender and an attacker firing shots with no answer to who won the round (probably to show that both sides are infact balanced and have equal chance of winning). You could even take a helicopter landing onto the roof which is badass (And probably would've saved us from the spawn peak craze, but more on that later) but alas the game changed vastly at some point during production.

1st of December 2015: Rainbow Six: Siege is released to the world with 20 operators (and everyone's favourite: Recruit of course) these included: SAS: Thatcher, Sledge, Smoke, Mute. FBI: Ash, Thermite, Castle, Pulse. GIGN: Montange, Twitch, Rook, Doc Spetsnaz: Fuze, Glaz, Tachanka, Kapkan GSG9: IQ, Blitz, Jager, Bandit

Giving two from each to the attacks and defenders. (Attackers left, Defenders right) Your starting team depended on your colour. Orange was Defence and Blue was attack with the teams rotating roles each round while maintaining their colour.

But the operators were locked behind walls of money called Renown. Luckily however this didn't effect the game too hard as within literally one match you had your first operator in that division. But the prices rose if you wanted to buy an operator in the same grouping. So if I bought SAS Thatcher all SAS ops would be more expensive (Unless using R6 credits the in game paid currency). My first operator was GIGN Montange a shield operator and my last was GIGN Rook who ironically became my most played defender so I just wish I'd bought him earlier. Each operator has a unique ability which changes the playstyle with limited resources that cannot be reloaded even in the terrorist hunt game mode which gives you ammo boxes.

A season pass system was also announced by Ubisoft the first being Operator Black ice giving us two Canadian operators: Frost and Buck and this is what I think makes Siege so unique from other tactical FPS. These operations unlocked cosmetic items, new weapon skins (Most noted is the black ice renowned for being the best skin in the game) here's a list by Ubisoft of all rewards for the pass.

The JTF-2 operators, Frost and Buck, the Navy SEALs operators, Valkyrie and Blackbeard, the BOPE operators, Caveira and Capitão, and the SAT operators, Echo and Hibana. 600 R6 credits, R6 icon charm, premium pass until December 1st 2016. However these operators were available to everybody if they purchased them with free renown they got from playing matches (Around 150 if you lose and around 300 if you win) these operators cost a large amount but its not impossible as I did it myself to unlock Capitao.

In July 2017 Alpha packs were introduced. These unlocked through a sort of roulette wheel at the end of a winning game. The pack (if landed on a white bar you built up by playing games) contained cosmetic headgear and weapon skins until this season where Jager received a legendary uniform in Legendary Alpha packs. These packs are blind luck and you never know what they contain until you open them. If you have the season pass the pack percentage gets a 0.30% boost and when losing it goes up by 1.5% and when winning 3%. (Of course not including the additional bonus for season passes) these can be bought for varying amounts if Renown

These season passes continue until this day with free content such as maps, cosmetics and operators being released. (8 a year) As of writing this Grim Skies (Year 3 Season 3) is ongoing and the game is definitely had a few bumps this season with the introduction of Clash who's nerf patch hasn't been released at the time of writing.

And now the siege history lesson ends and my opinion begins. I LOVE Siege. I play it basically every day and never seem to tire of this. But I don't think that's just because of me being some addicted fan boy. I think that the reason Siege has become so popular and developed such a massive community is because the huge comeback it had. It was originally a huge failure with players leaving in mass. Thousands of videos on youtube pointed out its massive flaws until instead of abandoning it... Ubi started work. Bug fixes, anti cheat, graphics improvement. You name it, if the community asked Ubi delivered and they still do to this day. Even refusing to change Tachanka despite his huge meme status as being terrible simply because fans love him that way even releasing a cosmetic bundle called "Lord Tachanka" a huge fucking meme amoungst the community that the devs love too which just shows how tight knit we are as a game. While they did take a while to do it during the big Hack period they fixed that for fans and announced they would do so even before the big Youtubers jumped in on it.

Ubi revived Siege. And I can never really express just how thankful I am for that in words. I love this game and I can't wait for the next season or the next game.

Gameplay:

Now it's time to talk about the gameplay Holy shit is this fun. When something goes well and your team just clicks you forget you're playing a game. You're a squad of 5 elite special forces soldiers who's training has lead to an unstoppable wall of fire as your tear through your enemy and it only gets better when the enemy does so too. The rush you feel when a 1v1 comes after a long gun fight is tense and nerve-wracking as you feel your whole team watching you or calling info on cams or drones (More on that later) winning is satisfying and losing is crushing but you still don't want to give up. Because you know that with the right team and the right strats you can wipe the floor with even the best of players.

Games tend to last around 15 minutes in casual with three rounds won being the win and up to 30+ in Ranked. Each round has a drone phase where little black RC drones race around the map looking for the objective while defenders quickly reinforce the room with defences such as metal wall reinforcments, barbed wire, deployable shields, nitro cells (C4 explosive) and your defenders personal gadget. You then have 4 minutes to either complete the objective as Attackers or wipe the enemy team and vice versa as defenders.

There are currently 18 maps in Siege such as, House, Oregan and Presidential Plane with another map planned next season. My personal favourite is Clubhouse.

On your gun you can add various attachments such as scopes, grips and compensators. But it's hard for me to talk about that since it's mainly personal preference I almost always use Reflex but most like the Acog scope. Here's a list of what attachments you should put on guns according to Varsity Gaming who you should check out for tips and info on actual mechanics such as damage drop off on guns.

This brings us nicely to spawn peaking. Since defenders spawn 45 seconds prior to Attackers and there's fixed spawns Defenders began opening windows to shoot people as they exited a spawn area most prominently Jager and Bandit. This resulted in their Acog scopes being removed and eventually all Acog scopes from all 2 speed and 3 speed defenders giving a large advantage on the Attackers side as in long range encounters the 2.5x zoom of an ACOG will help massively. Here's another link to a video which marks all things removed or nerfed to the current date. It's still a sensitive topic today as spawn peaking still exists but you're much more likely to miss someone or get killed yourself when you do it.

10 years of content has been announced but people do still doubt it but personally I think it can be done. Considering we're about to enter year 4 and the game is only growing in popularity I see no reason why it's going to stop any time soon. Especially now its practically one of the biggest Esports perhaps only being outdone by League and Dota with Overwatch declining it its recent years.

Not to mention the huge profit they overturn in cosmetics Ubi made pro league and elite skins, the later of which unlocks special MVP animations when equipped and winning as the largest point scorer.

How to Play the game

Now let's discus the gamemodes. You have Casual and Ranked with Custom matches and Terrorist hunt being less of a central focus and an offline Situations mode for beginners to practice.

Casual matches assign random spawns, random defence points and has a cap limit of 5 rounds with a winner being declared after someone reaches 3 otherwise resulting in a draw which effects nothing and gives bad rewards considering you just both basically won.

Ranked gives you a choice of spawns, defence points and caps at 9 rounds with a winner either being declared at 4-2> or having to go to a 5 after it reaches 4-3. After winning a defence location defenders who won may no longer use that defence point until it reaches the overtime tie breaker rounds of 4-3 onwards where everything resets basically. Drone and round times are the same however for both casual and Ranked if an objective is being complete such as Hostage being extracted, Defuser is being/ is planted or Securing objective/contesting then like casual the timer will never end until someone either leaves the room or dies. If a user leaves a ranked match their space is never filled nd they receive a ranked match ban for 15 minutes which increases each time and leave penalty

All game modes feature a DBNO (Down but not out stage) where you will be knocked to the floor and a large + icon surrounded by a white circle slowly being ticked away by a red line creeping across will appear. Your vision will be impaired and movement reduced to a crawl. You will produce a blood trail leading the enemy to you if you crawl away. You can press and hold to stop movement but hold the blood in giving you more time to wait for a teamate to come help you up. Any damage you take will probably kill you and all revives (except Docs stim pistol and Finkas adredinal surge) will get you back up on 50 health and must be done when right next you the only exception to these rules is Zofia and Doc who can get themselves up if Doc has a stim left and Zofia needs no help at all and after a brief 5 second animation can get up on 1 health and continue to fight.

Gamemodes in Ranked and Casual are:

Hostage: Hostage must be extracted from defence point and taken outside to a red flare where you will extract him/her and win you can as with teammates kill the hostage instead of the minus 100 points and ban (and an additional -100) for killing two teammates like you may expect you're hit with an instant -500 points and an almost certain ban if you're not careful. And since Renown is given based off of points this will likely screw you out of any renown if you lose the match and don't receive the +2000 points for winning.

In Secure area you must enter the room with the container automatically beginning to secure it simply by being in the room however. A loud siren goes off wherever an enemy enters with a large "Contested objective" appearing above the icon that goes through walls for both teams if a defender is inside and a "Securing..." if not.

On Bomb there are two sites near eachother [A] and [B] with Attackers having to enter the room and plant a single defuser given to one member at the start of the round taking 7ish seconds to plant and 40ish seconds to defuse the bomb entirely however the bomb defuser can be destroyed by the defence team by approaching it and holding the button to defuse with the same 7ish seconds needed to defuse however during this time the defuser still continues to tick down and can pass the threshold of defusing the bomb while a defender defuses resulting in an attacking victory.

All of these gamemodes are 5vs5

Terrorist Hunt:

Terrorist Hunt features a range of difficulties: Normal, Hard and Fucking impossible (Realistic). These missions can either be done alone or with a team. Depending on difficulty team friendly damage is reduced so I'd recommend Team play if you want a lot of renown for not very much work at all.

Situations:

These missions have fixed objectives and must be done alone in single player. After completing all situations that teach you how to play you may take part in Article 15. A difficult mission in a realistic difficulty where you and 4 others must defuse 2 bombs inside the map Bartlett University with heavily obscured vision in yellow clouds filling the map obscuring enemies and the bodies that liter the ground.

Custom Games:

These allow modifiers for a 5vs5 with friends or less even allowing you to explore the map alone. You can change health, timers such as increasing defuse time, drone time, match time and the amount of rounds. You can even turn on pro league settings to have a tournament with your friends.

Shop:

Siege has an in game shop where you can purchase the previously mentioned elite skins and various other items such as weapon skins, Pro league sets and weapon skins, charms and even the glorious Lord Tachanka sets.

Final thoughts and review:

Siege is in my opinion one of the greatest FPS games of all time. It has incredible fans, Gameplay is smooth and fun and most importantly tense. If I could play just one game with all of you then you'd know how big a difference one person can make each match, how much communication changes the game and how often friends tk each other for cheesy spiderman jokes.

I highly recommend you purchase it. Or play a free weekend. With a starter edition being so cheap right now especially when a sale comes on the only real reason to avoid the game would be the toxic team killers we have. But since the new tk ban changes I've been teamkilled only 12 times. 2 by friends, 7 accident and three being toxic players. That's not however saying it doesn't happen. But trust me. Your teammates will straight up slam the fucker who does it. I don't think I've ever been killed in a ranked match except by Mira mains who want their walls or accidents especially at the higher ranks. I hope this helped you either get a look into my perspective on Siege. Or perhaps convinced you to give it a chance or reinstall. Trust me. Give it a chance like I did and you'll never regret it.

Quick colourguide/toy-modding suggestion I made for G1 Greenlight and Lancer.

(got the proportions right by partially tracing internet images; this was pure for the colours and to see if some minor mods would look right)

Finding the right character or toy to base even a fictional transformation on for Lancer was a nightmare. 

I mean, not like there are a lot of fembots who have toys, and some who do are basically a repaint of a male character, which might work for them, but I wanted something a little more feminine for Lancer.

And the most tricky part of it was her skirt.

She has, from one angle, a skirt, and from the front, a high-waisted dress that’s shorter, or more open at the front.

I wanted a nod to that in the toymodel I’d use for her, and so I looked up fembots with some part of their design, altmode kibble or no, hanging from their back.

I found  and rejected Unicron Trilogy and Animated Arcee, as wel as a few others, before I came to the obvious choice of Blackarachnia. Animated version, that is.

Did she end up a little too feminine? Maybe. But it was not like I had a ton of choice, and an U3 Arcee recolour would be not exactly distinct from any of her many recolours.

And then there was Greenlight:

I mean, G1 Greenlight is basically “stockier G1 Arcee with no kibble, and with headfins at her ears and a mohawk for a headridge”.  Plus some other superficial differences that pretty much can be painted on.

So I looked for toy G1 universe Arcees that were a bit stockier, or at least a bit flat-chested, and went nope at all the official toys.

Generations Arcee and her repaints are pretty much “extra delicate, extra curvy, extra fem, less of the thing you’re looking for in this case”, and Titans Return Arcee, though I fell in love with her instantly, was bascially a Blurr toy retooled as IDW Arcee, and with a die-cast head, so, there’s not much to mod there. Also, it would be a waste of such a perfect beauty.

(I’d love to babble about how much I love her, but that’s not the point of this post, so let’s just say that she’s the only reason I now have an Ebay account.)

U3, TFA, Bay, and TFP Arcees were also out, for obvious reasons.

So on to the unofficial toys:

RC, Alcee, Rouge, Pink Assasin, Leia, ARC, Delicate Warrior, Valkyrie, Azalea and Leah.

As the main girl character in Transformers, if here’s a knockoff toy that’s a girl, there’s a seventy percent chance that it’s Arcee.

Some of them are triple digit expensive. Some of them are complex and fiddly. Some of them are a re-interpretation of Arcee. Some of them are all three. Not to mention that a lot of them are tiny works of art that I’m reluctant to mess with.

Alcee is basically “like the official toy, but bigger like you wanted”, RC in an expensive if awesome fan interpretation. Rogue is expensive and complex and comes with a face with cool shades. Pink Assasin is a cutesy anime version who doesn’t so much transform as faceplant with her feet into her backpack. 

Leia is... the perfect Empurata version of Arcee, actually. The lightpiping in the back of her head looks like a single optic, and her hands are removable. Her altmode is crippled too, for maximum sadism options.

ARC and Valkyrie and Delicate Warrior... I just dislike how they look.

Leah however: She looks a bit wonky, mostly in the face, and she’s tiny, one of the cheaper options and looking like it. 

Her transformation, however, is a complete one, without looking like there are limbs sticking out, and she looks like she’d be easy to mod. Plus, she’s pretty much one of the stockier, and the most flat-chested Arcee I can find.

Maybe, next year or so, I’ll buy her, repaint her and try and figure out how to mod her head to the way I want it to be.

Am I going to find some toy wheels and a set of matching axles to give her functional wheels when I’m done, completely changing her look to a more sturdy car to match a more sturdy lady? Oh yeah.

Either way, if both of them’d get an official toy like Moonracer and Firestar did, I’ll be happy for it. 

Then there are IDW Greenlight and Lancer.

Transformationwise, I thought of maybe a helicopter, but then I realized that Classics Rodimus would be a better match, transformationwise. She has the spoiler and everything.

However, she has a slighter, somewhat more feminie build in addition to the triangular lower point of her chest and the rounded shoulders, so, yeah, that idea didn’t work. An adapted Arcee’s head might work, with a pointy middle ridge and a visor, but then you still don’t have a body.

So, I still have no idea.

Greenlight is easier.

She has threads in her legs, so, likely a tank, and with little to no kibble, which eliminates a bunch of options.

Her head is nearly entirely a feminine version of Armada Starscream, so if you got one of those, and some green paint laying around, you’re halfway there.

Besides that Arcee, I also bought a “Thrilling 30 Megatron and Chop Shop Legends class” off of EBay. 

I am about to find out what it’s like to mod a toy and try and make a new head for it later the next week.

Top 15 Most Powerful Naturally Aspirated Cars for Sale

My, how time flies. The last time we did a roundup of the most powerful naturally aspirated cars on the market, we expressed concern the age of the free-breather was on the way out in the wake of the rising tide of forced induction. Compared to five years ago, we’re missing “all-motor” sweethearts like the Dodge Viper and the Ferrari 458 Speciale, but we’re still blessed with a cornucopia of big, lumpy, thumpin’ American (and other) V-8s sans blower or snail. We’re also pleased to report this is quite the multicultural list, with at least one entry from nearly every major automotive production country that offers cars Stateside. As far as we can tell, only the U.K. and Sweden weren’t invited, though if Aston Martin manages to get the Valkyrie hypercar with its no-turbos V-12 into customer’s hands, we’ll be sure to include it on the next list.

Honorable Mention: Genesis G80/G90

The buttery 5.0-liter Tau V-8 in the Genesis G80 and Genesis G90 just missed the power cut-off for the top 15, but we would be remiss if we left South Korea’s only V-8 off this list. With a strong 420 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, it’s the perfect range-topping engine for the G80 and G90 executive sedans. The recently updated G90 still packs the Tau, but if you want it in the smaller, nimbler G80, get your order in now, as the refreshed 2021 G80 drops the V-8.

Honorable Mention: Chevrolet Camaro LT1/SS

Even if it lands at number 16, how could we not have this on the list? It’s a good time to be a muscle car enthusiast, as you’ll see from the rest of this list. Honorable Mention: Lexus GS F

We would love to officially include the excellent Lexus GS F and its 467-hp 5.0-liter V-8 on this list, but its recent discontinuation precludes it from a ranking score. However, if you hurry, we bet you could still find a showroom-fresh GS F before inventory dries up.

Ford Mustang GT

The indomitable mainstay of modern muscle, the Mustang GT has never been healthier than it is in 2020, with 460 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque from its 5.0-liter Coyote V-8.

Ford Mustang Bullitt

Thanks to the intake manifold from a GT350, bigger throttle body, and an open airbox, the 5.0-liter V-8 jumps to 480 hp in the lean, green Mustang Bullitt.

Lexus LC500

It’s no secret we’re big fans of the sickeningly pretty LC500—we did name it an Automobile All-Star, after all—but much of that adoration fixates on the excellent 2UR-GSE 5.0-liter V-8 with 471 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque.

Lexus RC F

Just inching out the LC500 is little brother RC F. It gets the same 5.0-liter V-8, just with an extra pony thrown on top for good measure, bringing the RC F’s output to 472 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque.

Dodge Durango SRT/Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

You know we live in a golden age of horsepower when you can stroll into a dealership and drive off in a five- or seven-seat do-everything family hauler with a pavement-cracking 6.4-liter V-8 up front. In both SRT SUVs, that means 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.

Dodge Challenger/Charger R/T Scat Pack

Arguably the best bang for your buck on this list, Dodge’s Scat Packs are truly the closest modern interpretation of the classic muscle car, with handling and a curb weight more in line with those boulevard bruisers of yore. Oh, and power, too; both share a 6.4-liter V-8 rated for 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. An automatic transmission is your only choice in the Charger, but if you don’t need four doors, we highly suggest sampling the Challenger Scat Pack with the stick.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8)

Long a shining example of naturally aspirated power, the mid-mounted LT2 small-block V-8 in the new Corvette Stingray stuns with 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. If you’re holding out for an even more hi-po turbo-less variant, well, sorry—all signs point to forced induction for the forthcoming Z06/Zora variants.

Porsche 911 Speedster

We’d love to include the 911 GT3 and GT3 RS on this list—considering they share the same engine with the Speedster—but there aren’t any available for the 2020 model year, so the Speedster is the only 911 on this list. That doesn’t mean you can pick one up at your local dealer, as all Speedsters have been spoken for as of this writing, but you can still daydream about that 4.0-liter flat six that screams out 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT350/GT350R

Of all the mighty V-8s on this list, the 8,200-rpm, flat-plane crank, 5.2-liter Voodoo V-8 in the current GT350 is one of the most alluring. With a unique soundtrack that’s a combination of American roar and European wail, it’s hard to imagine 526 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque sounding much better.

Audi R8

Every V-10 is a blessing, so we’re tickled Audi still offers its sublime R8 with ten free-breathing cylinders. In the regular R8, that 5.2-liter V-10 is capped at 562 hp and 413 lb-ft, while the hottest R8 Performance cranks it up to 612 hp and 428 lb-ft.

Lamborghini Huracan Evo

Now we’re really getting into the exotic stuff. It’s good to see Lambo is still the largest champion of natural aspiration, having never offered forced induction on any of its production cars until the current Urus SUV arrived. The Huracan Evo is no exception, as its 5.2-liter V-10—shared with the above Audi R8—uses no assistance to suck in that delicious atmosphere. With upgrades pilfered from the hotter Huracan Performante, 631 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque is on-tap.

Ferrari GTC4 Lusso

Leave it to Ferrari and Lamborghini to stay at the top of the naturally aspirated power charts. That won’t last forever, though; looking at Ferrari’s endless march toward forced induction and hybridification, it’s time may soon be up. Until then, enjoy the 681 hp and 516 lb-ft from the 6.3-liter V-12 in the 2 + 2 GTC4 Lusso. Be careful not to tack a “T” to the end of the Lusso, as that will get you the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 variant.

Lamborghini Aventador S

You knew the big Lambos had to be the naturally aspirated power kings. The Aventador S is the weakest of the family, nonetheless sporting a stunning 730 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque from its ludicrous 6.5-liter V-12. At a $417,000, it’s also the cheapest way to slide into a new V-12 Lambo. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Number two on the naturally aspirated power rankings is the Aventador SVJ and its 759 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. Same 6.5-liter V-12 as the Aventador S, same otherworldly V-12 scream.

Ferrari 812 Superfast

Here it is—the most powerful naturally aspirated production car on the planet. The 812’s 6.5-liter V-12 spits out a tremendous 789 and 530 lb-ft of torque, enough for a 0-60 run of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. As you’d imagine, it’s one of the greatest cars ever made by any metric—so sublime, in fact, we named it an Automobile All-Star in 2019.

Who was your LI in Queen in 30 days? I picked Leo and all MC's friends left her (Richard, Adam, Emma) [and I haven't bought the scene where we could bring the bff to Sagar]... I enjoyed it more than trr tho (in a way that it is crazier and a lot of things are happening, i guess) all I remember from trr was winning other people's favor and diamond scenes with liam in trr2 I'm also playing other books in rc. and so far, what I like the most is Path of the Valkyrie (i find all the other books enjoyable too, they are all great in their own way.)

I played with Adam the first time, then Richard, but then back to Adam. I enjoyed it better than TRR too, it has its issues but I was able to do what I wanted to instead of being stuck in whatever story choices wanted to tell.

POV is so great! My favourite ongoing stories are Dracula, legend of the willow, and POV, in that order. But as you said, all the stories are really interesting and immersive. Even STW, which isn't really my cup of tea.
