very important question, what do you think all of their top songs would be on their spotify wraps?
This is an important question. Okay, here we go:
Shawn: nothing but 80's songs all the way down maybe a few 90's ones, too). I think his top track would be "Don't you (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds followed closely by "Head Over Heels" by Tears for Fears. He'll listen to the same song over and over until he gets tired of it and moves on to another one, before cycling back and repeating it.
Gus: Gus's music taste would be all over the place. His Spotify wrapped consists of every music genre known to man. Rap, pop, classical, rock, emo, if it sounds good to him, he's saving it. His top song, though, would probably be "I Wanna be Your Boyfriend" by The Rubinoos. Nice, catchy, and appeals to his romantic daydreams.
Jules: she has great music taste, a lot of classic rock hits in there. According to her character interview on USA Network, she listens to Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, and Pink Floyd. Overall, her Spotify wrapped is a spectacular selection. (Un)fortunately, she is not immune to early 2000's pop. Her top song is "Firework" by Katy Perry.
Lassie: He lies and tells everyone that his top song was "a heavy metal song, you probably wouldn't know it," when in reality his Spotify wrapped is mostly musical theatre tunes and ABBA. His top track is "You're The One That I Want" from Grease.
Chief Vick: all Phil Collins, who else? She's in his top 0.01% of listeners. Her top song is "Invisible Touch" by Genesis (Phil Collins' band).
Buzz: huge boy band fan. His top song is "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys. He thinks it's catchy.
Henry: would never pay for Spotify Premium and hates the free version
Woody: alpaca mating calls
#thanks so much for the ask!#i listen to most genres of music but i do not consider myself to be cultured in any way#so if any of these songs/bands are like#really bad or problematic#let me know lmao#shawn spencer#burton guster#carlton lassiter#juliet o'hara#chief vick#karen vick#henry spencer#woody strode#buzz mcnab#psych#psych usa#psych tv#psych tv show#psych 2006#asks

the difference between jeverus and snirius i think, is that once james and severus get together, james just becomes a romantic with stalkerish and obsessive tendencies but he stops being mean to severus.
but for snirius, they act more like an old married couple and neverr ever stop being at least a little bit mean to each other, but it's more affectionate obviously.
#like obviously jeverus would still be toxic because of james' highly problematic behaviour#but it's more likely to be swept under the carpet because james is always like omg nooo i don't want to argue#but when they do argue it's Really Bad#whereas if snirius argue it's less serious and they end up fucking like not even 10 minutes later lol#jeverus#snirius#starprince#princechaser

Gut reaction to the CRK Pride 2025 Twitter post no lie:
In all seriousness though. I gotchu Anon #1, you can always trust me to be on top of Beast x Ancient news and Big Gay Reveals 🫡🫡🫡
Anon #2 is right though, people are getting too worked up over that tweet lol. Even if 2 of the pairs shown (EternalBerry and SeaMoon) have actual canonicity behind them, it's still just fanservice. It's a fanservice post. They did this last year, too, with Herb x Sparkling and ChiliRye and Espresseleine. Just trying to scrounge up likes on social media, it doesn't actually mean anything for canon. No sense in either throwing a rager or getting bent out of shape about it. Just smile at the ship additions you like and roll your eyes at the ones you don't and then go back to business as usual. CRK-onlys are so unbearable lol. CROB players aren't all that much better, but I feel like they've calmed down some in recent years and CRK players are just... a whole different animal. A lot of y'all are either children or have the mindset of children and it really shows loo. Living in some scary, horrifically parasocial and entitled times, indeed
I will say though. It's veeeeeerrrryyyy odd that ShadowVanilla isn't there. That ship is the new juggernaut in CRK. I actually raised my eyebrows when I saw they were missing. WildChip I understand, sure. But no ShadowVanilla? No Vanilla Milkshake? That's pretty crazy
cheesecakemermaid1048 commented on someone else's post about the Pride 2025 art saying that they heard that the English CRK social media manager hates ShadowVanilla and the art is just a big edit of the ships they personally like. Idk if that's true, but if it is, that is the funniest, most petty shit on this planet lmao
#crk fandom is full of petty people so it would make a lot of sense tbh#still. that would be so funny lol. I'm imagining the twitter person just malding in their chair while they make the edit#“hehehehehe i won't add ShadowVanilla! THAT will show those problematic Beast x Ancient shippers!!!!1!1!1!!”#and then they just add EternalBerry lol#also why is Raspberry just... there? she's just there in the photo all alone#didn't even add Princess in there or whatever. just dumped Raspberry in and made her the odd woman out. so strange#i sorta feel bad for her lol. i never shipped her with anyone but if you're going to add her to the Pride collage at least give her a gf#regardless at the end of the day none of this really matters. it's just a twitter fanservice post that's all#only the English CRK twitter does this none of the other ones do. certainly not the Korean one lol. English CRK is hungry for clout#i never needed permission to ship what I ship and neither does anyone else. don't fall for the clout goblin post y'all. keep calm carry on#cookie run kingdom#eternalberry#seamoon#I'm only tagging the confirmed real ones lol#merchant asks

I get whiplash every time I'm reminded that cumplane is a real ship in the SVSSS fandom.
We are literally the least serious part of the MXTX fandom, cause what do you mean we have no real fandom discourse about what ship is the best?? (we all just agree the role of harem owner transported to SQQ) And the worst discourse we have is people outside the fandom trying to come at us for the honestly not really problematic story? Like,,,if game of thrones is as popular as it is with half the discourse in ratio to its fandom size, SVSSS fans should be left alone
#svsss#shen qingqiu#mxtx#scum villain's self saving system#mxtx svsss#hear me out svsss is a wee bit problematic#but compared to SO MANY fandoms#it really isnt bad#lbh and sqq are just FREAKS#as readers#we attempt to match their freak#airplane shooting towards the sky#peerless cucumber#cumplane#shang qinghua#shang quinghua is actually god of pidw

It does baffle me every time that people complain about how expensive everything is in the D20 mini auctions, like, these are all custom made and hand-crafted, and most crucially they're memorabilia from the set. Like no, I would not personally drop a cool 12k on a D&D mini from a D20 season, but if someone can then that's their business, particularly since the money has always gone towards their budget towards future seasons or (more recently) to charity. You are not entitled to a one-of-a-kind-mini of an NPC.
#honestly there is a UNIQUE level of entitlement people in AP fandom have towards charity endeavors#that's REALLY FUCKING GROSS#like if you say oh i didn't care for [normal thing that made money] that they liked they'll go absolutely apeshit#But then they'll turn around and act like it is a fundamental human right to own an Arthur Aguefort miniature or to see Laudna#it is as always a self-centered viewpoint in which it's mean and bad and problematic whenever they don't get their way or validation#and nothing else matters; it's just about them getting what they want all the time and never being disagreed with or criticized

i think the internet would be a much better place if people could dislike art normally instead of trying moralize their dislike into "oh this art is problematic and bad actually" and just accept that art they dislike & think is bad has a right to exist despite their opinion of it
this isn't about anything in specific, it's just a trend i've noticed :p
#like idk personally there's a lot of art that i have a deep dislike for and think is “problematic” or whatevs but i don't make it into-#-a whole fucking thing#sometimes art is bad and says stuff that's bad. that's just what happens when you let humanity with all of its flaws create art-#-that by default reflects all of its flaws#art just naturally comes with all of that baggage i think#cos humans are complex and none of us are perfect and as such none of our art will be perfect#so we need to stop acting like “OH NO THIS IS PROBLEMATIC” really means anything. no shit it's problematic!!#all art has flaws and flawed art has a right to exist#i'd much rather have messy & bad art that actually reflects the human experience than having everything be sanitized & perfect#just pick thru it carefully & critically and every1 will be ok!!#ocelotrambles

Alright, so I've been a fan of Shane, Ryan and even Steven since their buzzfeed days and I've been watching this whole thing with Watcher moving their content over to their own streaming service debacle.
Like most ppl, I think it's a poor business move to alienate your fans like this, but I've been thinking on it more from maybe a financial perspective. I'm wondering how many people actually signed up for it. I saw a tiktok advertising expert say that the conversion rate for ads--meaning the number of ppl to actually buy something when they see an ad is about 1-5%. Like, right now they have about 2.8 million subscribers. And even though they've lost about 50K since and counting, they probably anticipated some loss. I'm sure they've mathed that if they just get at least like 100K conservatively out of their nearly 3 million fanbase to sign up, they'd be able to make $600K a month from their streaming service at six bucks a pop each month.
Maybe that's worth it? I'm not exactly sure how much they were making before. Ppl say they had 11K subscribers on patreon before but that's just their member total. Actual paid members was about 5K. But despite the controversy, their patreon member count has actually gone up. Today it sits at 12K members total with nearly 6K members paying. So they're making at least $30K-70K+ a month currently on patreon based on their offered tiers. not sure how much they were making on ad revenue alone or sponsors cuz I'm not sure how that stuff works on youtube. But maybe by their own accounting they think the loss of followers was worth it if they can hang on to that small, loyal but paying minority.
Another youtuber has pointed out that if you have a sponsor for a video and it's a one off, it can pay more. Up to $35K. So if that is the peak and they release 1 video a week, so 4 a month would be like 140K a month on sponsor money. And youtube pays about $10 per 1000 views a video, and they average 1 mil each video. So about $40K a month on views. So we can guess that they made about $180K a month currently on youtube (patreon and merch sales not included).
Honestly, if they can reach the goal of 1-5% of their subscribers converting to their streaming platform, yeah they probably would make more money in the long run. IF they can somehow manage to retain as well as grow those number of subscribers on their new platform. And don't forget, they don't plan to delete their current videos on their youtube channel so they'll still be earning revenue from those videos. We'll have to see I guess given how much goodwill they've lost with their audience.
Tbh, I am all for them trying to get paid more for their work but I also think they could have transitioned much differently, like only putting some exclusive content on their own platform while also posting free shows to youtube. Or maybe delaying releases for a week or a month for youtubers. or cutting back your production costs if it's really killing you cuz everyone has pointed out they liked the ghoul boys when it was just a black screen with text scrolling by saying "wheeze." Only time will tell if this move paid off for them.
But I'm not super knowledgeable on how the entire youtube thing works so if someone has some insight, feel free to weigh in.
#watcher#shane madej#ryan bergara#steven lim#its not a bad business move tbh if they get guaranteed 6 bucks each month each subscriber#and they don't have to care about the views/what is popular because they are no longer paid by how well a video does#also i am really tired of ppl placing the blame on one person#like i get that we all have faves and maybe some are problematic#but that doesn't make your faves innocent cinnamon rolls okay#they all made that decision together#text post#personal

I’m curious, I’ve seen a lot of complaints about how Evil Paper is potentially going to be handled in the S1 remaster, and i was wondering what people think the ideal way to go about him is.
How would you want him to be rewritten, without retconning anything major?
#this is a genuine question i would like to learn#knightext#inanimate insanity#osc#ii evil paper#i’m not a system so i don’t really know how to go about his storyline#especially since his whole existence is problematic#once you remove the bad parts of his character…you really don’t have much left

I didn’t tag anything on the post cause I didn’t want to detract from that whole thing but everyone just needs to remember that I do have a giddy obsession with The King in Yellow. Not the malevolent character. The book. From 1895. The one that starts with the author trying to justify segregation before going into his state authorized suicide world. That one. I do a little jig whenever I hold it my brain is broken about this book.
#chambers isn’t as bad as lovecraft (I mean. seriously) but still#personal#it’s mediocre at best and ‘problematic’ as hell but I just!! book!!#it’s just really interesting ok!! as a historical text I think it’s fascinating as an early piece of sci fi and horror!!#I also like the malevolent character. obviously. but I liked the CoC version first so I mean#I think I just like him in any universe

Is it really "too far" and "disturbing" and "concerning" or did the horror media just make you uncomfortable
#people having a conniption over poppy playtime 4's opening vhs is both funny and sad#this is the same with a lot of analog and digital horror#is it really “distateful” or was it something that made you uncomfortable#ppl have a similar reaction to sex in horror films tbh#it's a bit frustrating#bc this is horror#it's not the owl house or gravity falls#i actually feel people treat horror that way sometimes?#where they like the horror in brief moments or implied things but backpedal there is something they actually have to confront#that's more than just a serial killer#idk i could be talking nonsense though#but i do know I'm pissed ay people trying to make certain horror creators out to be “problematic ” or a bad person#simply because of the content they create#guys “he defends his terrible actions” and said actions being “an anolog horror” is not “proof” that someone is “bad'#idk where I'm going with this but yeah#quinn quips

Been having less headaches lately, so woe more of my Marvel Rivals doodles upon ye.
[Small rant about Namor's design below.]
Tl;DR: I kinda dislike, almost hate the default design tbh. It's just not Namor.
Namor is on of my favorite characters from Marvel hence why I care so much about this. I realize I don't really talk about comics here, anyways-
I don't like Namor's design in Marvel Rivals.
Like as an atlantian design is good, but as Namor? I don't feel like it's him. He always has this British snobbish royal vibes to him (in the comics), but this design is giving Jason Momoa's aquaman + some inspo from talokan Namor (MCU), all of it resulting in him serving surfer dude vibes.
I would argue these 2 designs for him is closer too what his default should have been in game since Marvel Rivals clearly takes mainly inspo from the comics. (If they really didn't want to do the classic speedo as the default.)
But no. Local fishman is too lame we gotta make em surfer dudes. (Yes I dislike DCEU's version of aquaman too.) It's so far away from who Namor is, and presents himself as.
And to have the MCU take on his default be so divorced from The Invaders era along side Captain america and Jim Hammonds Human torch as the OG Marvel characters that kinda started it all, yeah I'm knew I would be disappointed.
My point is; to see a game that many lift up to respect the comics, not respect one of the first Marvel characters, yeah it's infuriating.
So basically; if Spiderman show up on an enemy team I'm playing Namor.
(I'd be lying if my interpretation of namor being asian also kinda makes be wanna scream in the void. And don't get me started on the flanderization of his interest in Sue Storm.)
#marvel rivals#sketches#namor#namor the sub mariner#spiderman#rant#niche topic I'm passionate about#sorry for ranting but-#namor is just of of those characters who is really good with a great writer and really bad and flanderized by too many#my problematic frog folk from DnD isn't safe and my fishman from silly superhero comics ain't either. what's with the aquatic life hate?

very annoying getting into a fandom where most of the audience seems to be on the younger side. there are so many concepts that are completely normal that just seem outside the realm of possibility for a teenager to even comprehend
I see SO much "how could anyone like this character, you know he's like 40-50 right?" and "how could anyone like this character, he's fat!" and "how could you like this character, he's a villain!" and so on so forth. Like, are you new here? I can only assume yes
#ramblings#sorry for another weird vent (?) post#haha vent like (checks my notes) like amongus. right?#anyway#I promised myself I wouldn't become one of those disconnected adults that condescends to teenagers and adopts an us vs them mentality#but it's getting harder when it feels like they're making our own spaces hostile against us#I dunno I'm tired. it's like. I turned 20 and never got tiktok and now I'm completely disconnected from teenagers I feel#not really a bad thing. just annoying in certain situations. like this one#YES liking ''problematic'' characters is fine. yes liking fat characters is fine. yes liking older characters is fine. it dodsn't mattor#i thought it was bad on the internet when I was a teenager but now it's like y'all are just too comfortable straight up insulting others#(takes a long drag of a cigarette like I'm not recently 24)#(the cigarette is fake)#(i exhale but instead of smoke i just disintegrate into ashes)

ok so in a 2007 episode wilson says house is 45 meaning house was born in 1962 whereas hugh laurie was born in 1959 then in a 2012 ep house says that wilson is 46 meaning wilson was born in 1966 whereas rsl was born in 1969. do you think they did this to avoid age gap discourse
#obviously they are Notoriously bad with dates and timelines so we really shouldn’t listen#also wilson says house has been pissing for the last 45 years so he could be rounding down#but i like to think they thought their decade age gap was a problematic power dynamic#house isn’t as much of a sugar daddy as previously thought#house md#hilson#+
