When we first met you was completely by accident as he was just talking with his friends about whatever and you bumped into him into one of “those” positions

He’d become much more possessive and brutal although not exactly brutal to you as in his eyes you can do no wrong although brutal with others especially with his kills

tachihara is chill about his job too and just arrests criminals instead of...yknow...cutting them into pieces so that's for sure easier on your stomach

Yeah, tbh one part that rlly did make me a bit sad about seulgis solo, aside from the title being a bit lackluster as a song (it needed a little bit more something, I'm not sure what but I def like the bsides especially dead man running or crown soo much more) was that the choreo was disappointing. With the mini bit of it she teased on that live w red velvet I thought it would have a lot of tutting elements like they did w seulrenes naughty but it was the only part of the choreo that stood out to me. The performances are still nice to watch but I can't help thinking what if she had just rlly gone w another choreo like naughty but seulgi-fied to the max without having to worry about adjusting the difficulty so that Irene could keep up (not that she's a bad dancer by any means) , just go absolutely ham and impressive. Like even if the song was lacking I was at least expecting to be wowed by the choreo.

Also visuals of the album jacket are 10x more interesting and fun than the mv. Why didn't they get super into the snow white theme they had going on???? Commit to it !!! Again the doppelganger shot was the best part of that too

part of me wonders if she got more subdued choreo so she could sing live but iont know soloists are known to lip sync parts when theyre dancing so i feel like no one wouldve minded esp if they choreo was cunt. Okay remember,, when he punched the door in Chapter 5 (I think) and you try to heal him but he's already healed? So you bring him to your room and you're about to do the spell when you see he's healed.

Anyways a little while after that (once things have calmed down) he asks you about it. You take your hair down and let him see how long it is. And yes! He is impressed!!

He doesn't really need your healing powers, but he feels a lot better that you have them. Obviously he'll still protect you in a fight but at least if he does mess up somehow, you'll be able to heal yourself.

He! Wants! To Brush! Your Hair! And braid it! Have you ever done his hair in different styles? Because he is 1000% doing yours. He has a lot of fun with it too. Asks you if there's any specific styles you want or thinks he should try. Might I suggest the Pull-Through braid (which I think is pretty similar to the one Rapunzel had in the movie)?

Honestly even though he does have his own healing factor thing going on, I think he'd still like for you to do it. It won't really do anything but I think he just likes feeling cared for and about.

henlo astro <3 I hope you don’t mind me popping in rq dbfbh buuuuut, I’m trying to get a feel for redscape and their dynamic (def not for a certain au or anything 😳) and I’m politely asking for any head canons you have

OHHHHHHHHHHH oh my god you have come to the RIGHT place mochi!! ok ok here we go:

They both LOVE dancing. Like idk the word for it but ballroom? Waltz? The type with partners and stuff. It's fancy, its rhythmic, and impresses other people! Their favorite types are both Swing dancing, simply because that is my favorite and also the only one i know anything about lol.

Mumbo is often super shy and embarrassed when partnered with someone he's not used to dancing with, but even so he typically leads, only partially because in almost every given situation he is the tallest one. When he's not supremely anxious and overthinking every step, he gets really into it. Like, once he's in his element you can tell. He loves dancing and you can see it in every step. ^-^

Scar, on the other hand, is perfectly content to be the one getting swung around and twirled and stuff. He started learning how to dance in around s7 or maybe s8 simply because he thought it would look good for his image lol, but he also really enjoys it!! (though it mainly might be because getting spin dipped by Mumbo K. Jumbo is an Experience for the ages)

Mumbo overthinks a LOT. That's not even a headcanon, he's just like that. (i mean, just watch him trying to reason out if eating potatoes was cannibalism or not!!) Luckily, scar has learned to tell when Mumbo's too deep in his own head, and always sorts it out real quick. Sometimes it's just him grabbing his hand and kissing it to let him know its there, other times he offers a random paradox or riddle for mumbo to think about rather than the Bad Thing (the equivalent of giving a dog a chew toy so it doesnt hurt its teeth on the leg of the kitchen table), or sometimes he does something very Scar-y, like falling into the boatem hole or a random pit without any rockets or building blocks in his inventory. Just something to pull Mumbo out of his own head! Mumbo has not caught on so far.

Mumbo can and will pick up Scar to take him places if Scar's in too much pain to walk himself. Scar was very surprised and very flustered the first time Mumbo did this. and the second time he did it. and the third. and the fourth. (i think you get the idea at this point)

Scar's got a thing for scary people. (cough cough Mumbo's killing spree in Last Life, Mumbo killing him in the first ep of s9, as well as Grian in, well, everything, but especially third/last life. Scar just sees a man covered in blood and goes 'hey is anyone gonna date that' and doesnt wait for an answer)

Scar LOVES the feeling of Mumbo's stubble, when he has it. He runs his fingers over Mumbo's chin all the time. (grian, on the other hand, hates it, and WILL make mumbo shave at the threat of doing it in his sleep. He and Scar have yet to reach a compromise. Mumbo is just happy Grian hasn't threatened his mustache yet)

Mumbo and Scar are BOTH scaredy-cats, but at least Mumbo acknowledges it. Scar just denies it over and over agains and then jumps ten feet in the air when someone walks up behind him and says 'hi'.

Scar canNOT tie a tie for the life of him, and he hasn't bothered to learn, not when mumbo can do it for him and Scar gets to unabashedly stare at him the entire time.

Mumbo gets SUUPER flustered with physical contact. Scar takes full advantage of this and takes every chance he gets to grab his hand and just fiddle with his fingers when mumbo is rambling about some redstone thing. He finds it super endearing to watch Mumbo try to keep talking, even though he's obviously distracted by scar playing with his hand.

Jellie likes to sit on Mumbo's lap when he's working at his desk. Scar just about dies every time he finds them both asleep, Mumbo's hand buried in her fur, like he fell asleep petting her.

Scar is the resident flirter in the relationship, but that just makes it so that the few times mumbo does flirt at him its 1000% times more potent. Scar absolutely can NOT take what he dishes out.

Alright guys, I’m gonna do it. I’m going to write Part 2 of my Miku event post. So non-spoiler recap, Ken hosts a Miku appreciation event, all the groups show up, and things happen. You may want to read Part 1 since I also explain some details for setting up the event. Anyways let’s gooo. May have to make a Part 3 too.

Recap: all the groups show up to Ken’s Miku appreciation event.  Ken knows about the Sekais and about Miku/other Vocaloids and wants to thank them for helping out VBS so much on their musical journey. Plus he enjoys the aesthetics of the Street Sekai. Crap it just occurred to me but idk if I should let Ken have access to the Sekai or not. Uhh, Miku gives him access but he only decides to go if the kids ask him since he feels like the Street Sekai is VBS’s version of like a treehouse/hang out spot so he doesn’t want to impose, but a small segment of it does reflect some of his feelings bc of his access now (a later post). Besides he and the Vocaloids all have a friendly relationship with each other. I wonder if some of VBS’s hero worship of Ken rubbed off onto the Vocaloids. Later post.

Anyways, all the groups show up and they start mingling with each other since they recognize each other from all of the run ins they’ve had. Ichika and Honami has a chance to meet the rest of 25ji. Honami mentions that she’s the housekeeper for Kanade. The rest of Leo/need finally meets 25ji. Saki thinks Kanade is cute and all of L/N are surprised that only Mizuki is their age. Saki is also slightly concerned for Kanade bc she’s so small and looks fragile bc of her shut in lifestyle and asks if Kanade wants to hang out sometime to help her exercise/get out her house. Kanade agrees more to be polite, but also curiosity. Tsukasa stops by briefly and vaguely recognizes Kanade. He also hears about how shut in Kanade is and decides to help Saki in efforts to get Kanade out more often bc he thinks that someone of Kanade’s talents should take care of her health more. Shiho also discusses music with Kanade since she’s impressed by Kanade’s skill at her age. Shiho also talks to Mafuyu for a bit. She had known about Mafuyu before since Shizuku has probably mentioned Mafuyu to her before, but talking with Mafuyu now, I wonder if Shiho would notice something off about her since Shiho can be observant at times. Anyways, Shiho is also impressed by Mafuyu’s lyrical skills as well as interested in hearing that she can compose songs too. Honami probably overloads Mizuki and Ena with her kindness. Honami also probably softly asks for them to look out for Kanade on occasion since Honami can’t always be around to make sure Kanade eats while also thanking Mizuki and Ena for being good friends with Kanade since she probably recognizes that 25ji really helped Kanade relax more.

So MMJ, VBS, and WxS just form into one blob. Tsukasa and Shizuku are getting a chance to hang out while also keeping an eye on their siblings. Tsukasa probably drags Toya over too and ofc Akito won’t leave Akito so package deal they come. Akito is probably super conflicted between doing his good boy facade and being sassy to Tsukasa since Shizuku is right there and Rui is also keeping an eye on things. Rui is probably also fascinated in hearing childhood stories about Tsukasa from Shizuku and Toya. I also HC that Shizuku has interacted with Toya before. Maybe not that much to be too notable, but enough where they recognize each other. Airi probably bounces back and forth since she also wants to talk to Ena and Mizuki too. Saki is a big Airi fangirl so ofc she’s gonna chat with Airi and Emu also chats with Airi bc she def watched the shows Airi was on (also based on the recent V-day event in JP). Minori is chatting with Kohane, Emu, and Nene while Haruka and An are also chatting. I HC that this is when most of the groups realize that VBS are basically dating each other (An/Kohane, Akito/Toya) bc each pair is just hanging off of each other (An keeps hugging Kohane and Toya keeps his arm around Toya) and this is also when they realize that Ken is totally cool with it bc he lightly teases them about it. VBS did promise to help out with the event a little so I feel like Ken would go like “Hey An, stop being a koala to your gf and help me pass out drinks” or go like “Hey Akito can you help me bring out some of these dishes and yes you have to eat these carrots and not give them to your bf” or something. And ofc more teasing from the groups occur bc of it. But it’s also probably nice to the other groups when they realize how chill Ken is with all of this acceptance and that they don’t have to worry too much about the dating thing with him (new date spot acquired). You can’t tell me everyone here is 100% straight with how Proseka has been going.

I also like the idea of 25ji interacting with VBS also at some point. The two groups end up wondering over together and Ena teases Akito that she now knows his super secret cafe spot and that maybe she’ll stop by sometimes since Ken makes good coffee. Akito just sort of grimaces and says do what you want, not like I can stop you or something (he’s not actually that pissed off about it now, but it’s not like he’s ecstatic about it now). Kanade notices that Kohane sang at that Miku event (the Scramble Fest event can’t remember the name of the singing event) and asks about her singing and stuff and Kanade is surprised that Kohane is actually a beginner. An overhears and An being An, brags about how she met Kohane and instantly knew Kohane was the one and stuff. Ofc An phrases it as if it were love at first sight too (I mean it could be given how An acted) and 25ji is just surprised at how bold An is. I wonder if Ena also slightly envies Kohane bc it is evident that Kohane is talented. An probably mentions her dad and her uncle and how her uncle is some producer. So ofc Kanade looks him up and is surprised at the high view count on his videos and asks An and Kohane if she could ask him for advice some time. An says that she sees him she’ll ask if he has any tips, but can’t guarantee anything, but Kanade is satisfied with that (Kanade prob just wanted insights and not like an actual mentorship and didn’t want to take advantage of An or anything, but that’s for another post). I also wonder if someone from VBS accidentally slips that Akito went against someone named Arata and lost and Akito ends up getting a little heated saying how the guy said he didn’t stand out and how he’ll prove Arata wrong and stuff, but this is the moment when Ena realizes that oh, maybe her and Akito are more alike that she thought (Ena and her art and Akito and his music). Mafuyu and Kohane get a chance to interact here too. I wonder if maybe they have seen each other before (seen not talk) and Kohane mentions how she looked way different at the start of the school and Mafuyu then remembers and asks why Kohane cut her hair and got contacts. Kohane mentions that she wanted to resolve herself and did it to gain confidence and cut her hair to confirm her resolve and stuff. Mafuyu says how bold of you Azusawa-san, while silently thinking about that statement. (I HC that Mafuyu cuts her hair after she breaks away from her parents). Anyways, Ena and Mizuki are like wahh how bold to cut your hair yourself (giving Mafuyu more ideas). They also probably ask if she’s going to dye her hair too since everyone else in VBS has and Kohane mentions she hasn’t decided yet. Toya chimes in that it’s no rush and that he knows how parents can be too if their kids suddenly change. He then probably mentions his harsh childhood and breaking away from his dad’s dream for him (giving Mafuyu more ideas) and Akito also probably chimes in like ‘yeah his dad sucked or something’. Basically I feel like each of VBS could end up giving Mafuyu ideas since they seem to weirdly reflect different bits of her. (An being so emotional/bold and having a stable dad, Kohane finding resolve, Toya breaking away from family, Akito keeps going on a path where he may not succeed but does bc he loves music,etc.). I also wonder if Akito would notice Mafuyu is faking her smiles and attitude since he does the same thing himself, but also notices how much emptier she is.

Ok but WxS and MMJ. Tsukasa asking if Shizuku is ok where she is since he probably only heard about Shizuku quitting her group and now she’s with another group and Shizuku reassuring him that she’s happy with MMJ. Emu and Airi intereacting more. Emu maybe asking for gymnastic tips since she does a lot of stunts for the plays and Airi happy to give them out. Rui curious about Airi’s show experience as well since it’s not easy work. Nene being a little starstruck by Haruka and Minori trying to cheer Nene on to talk with them more. WxS offering to do a joint play with MMJ where MMJ would stream it and WxS could get some more advertisement.

But you can see how all the groups end up staying until like closing time. So many people and so many conversations. I tried my best with this, but uh yeah I didn’t get to all of the groups possible combos, but I’m only human. I know I know. I tried to at least include something for all of the groups, but you can obviously see my bias. So yeah, I just wanted to show some possible crossovers.

Anyways, as closing time gets close, the other regulars leave and it’s just our favorite cast of characters. Ken eventually calls out that it’s pretty much closing time. Phone numbers are exchanged and promises to hang out are made (I’ll just say everyone has everyone’s phone number now bc even if I didn’t show it, everyone made some contact with each other at some point). Someone asks why Ken made the event in the first place. Maybe it’s Ichika since she’s the bonafide Miku fangirl and doesn’t know Ken that well. Ken gives his reply and accidentally spills the beans that he knows what Sekais are and that he knows Miku and other Vocaloids.

Crap guys I swear I was going to get to the Sekai tour in Part 2, but I also wanted to do some group interactions and then this occurred. So I guess I’ll be making a Part 3. For real guys, I will get to the Sekai tour. I definitely want to show that.

So I’ll just mention some stuff for it here too. The person who pressed their Untitled was definitely Emu. It was a toss up btwn Emu or maybe Saki, but I decided Emu just because. Also bc I’m sure you guys have noticed that I tend to go in group order (L/N->MMJ->VBS->WxS->25ji) for these larger posts w/ all the groups so I wanted to mix it up. Also, 25ji will go last for the Sekai tour. Mainly bc I can see 25ji wanting to respect Mafuyu’s decision if she wants to even reveal the Empty Sekai or not since Mafuyu was the original creator of the sekai. So Mafuyu may actually be internally panicking as she sees these other Sekais and realizing that if the other groups saw the Empty Sekai, she might be forced to reveal her secret. So Part 3 might delve into the reveal of Mafuyu’s secret and 25ji’s angst.

-you weren't originally an aahw project. while they're definitely the biggest company of sorts around there's still a few others that are like them but not exactly them hanging around nevada. you happened to be in some facility they decided to raid due to them having some possibly useful information regarding the anti-aahw . she's definitely a little less than enthused to get a call from her agents that she should come check this out but ,, when she lays her eyes on u that immediately melts away

-he's VERY very curious about you. keeps you close which is kind of nice bc it means you're treated pretty well but also it means a lot of being watched. audi just has like. a habit of unconsciously ''''''''studying'''''''' you. they're always noting little behaviors of yours down mentally and asking you little questions abut how you came to be and what abilities you hold.

-believe it or not he actually DOESN'T want you in fights. she knows you're incredibly capable but the thought of you getting too involved in a bunch of clawing and tearing again makes her get uneasy. she just prefers for you to stay by her side, with the excuse that you're a body guard of sorts for her (you aren't, she's got several other, more disposable mags that serve that role just fine.).

-HOWEVER. there is one time where he doesn't get an option in that. a few contractees and dissenters attempted a raid on the base audi was at, hoping to try and get some sort of bargaining chip to make deal with. before they can even really attempt to try and land some sort of hit on them you're already pouncing on the nearest grunt, blood already spurting and painting the walls red in mere seconds of your arrival. it honest to god shocks her into stillness, her just watching motionlessly the entire time, only really moving once to dodge some limb you'd mindlessly thrown her way after tearing it from its socket. WHILE SHE IS IMPRESSED ,,, she still scolds you a little for being reckless while trying to scrub the blood off of you with a wet rag, huffing that 'you could've gotten seriously hurt' if you were any less careful >:/

-however he does do the thng where he like. cups both sides of your face and then presses his forehead against yours. you have to lean down a lot for him to do so but still. sighs a little while brushing his thumb under your eyes and tells you to be more careful from now on.

-auditor is not immune to favoritism and it shows. someone brings it up (shakily, of course) and she just shrugs and goes 'idk what you're talking abt' while petting you who's got your head on her lap. said person promptly gets 'dismissed' after.

-hates whenever anyone tries to put some kind of muzzle on you, even if its just for the jaw dislocation thingy it still makes him go kind of '>:|' . he'll let them for like. a day at MOST (unless you keep trying to get it off, then chances are he's just gonna take it off for you. nobody really bothers asking / trying to get it back on you bc he just sends them a sharp little glare before they even can. if you REALLY need it that bad then he might try and convince you to keep it on a little longer or otherwise take your mind of it, he still feels really bad about it tho . )

-you two knew each other before he dissented / you became a mag. worked pretty close together and were just close in general !! you didn't know dei super super well since he worked in a different area but you two met a few times and hit it off pretty well.

-anyway ! he doesn't take your magnification well. at all. the first few times he saw you after it were the worst, mostly because those few times were primarily because you were lashing out at agents for one reason or another (mostly maltreatment from guards / people being shitty in general) . for the first while its so obvious that you're just exhausted from what's happened to your body that was NOT meant to become this, that you're tired and on edge from not being allowed any real rest. it makes him feel fucking terrible to see how awful of a state you're in and know that there's next to nothing he can really do to help.

-it especially hits him when he notices the other little changes. there's some specific moment where he's holding onto you far too tightly, clutching at the back of your jacket while he does his best to keep composed. you always had this habit of giving a half jokey hum of some stupid little joke or even just a 'what's wrong, big guy?' whenever he seemed off or tense, he can't help but make note of the lack of real response from you in the moment other than you wrapping your arms around him as well. another time, maybe he tries to make some little inside joke after something reminded him of it, looking back at you with a little smile. it hits him with a special punch to the gut when he notices your confusion, you just can't recognize it. you don't remember it anymore. you don't remember a lot of your old self or interactions anymore.

-you two end up getting split up at one point or another. orginally, he'd planned to run away with you and deimos buut,,, one way or another, you weren't really able to get out. he goes looking for you a bunch but eventually he has to stop when it gets to be too much and he can't find any real sign of you, he's quiet for a long time after it.

-HOWEVER . he does eventually find you in some abandoned warehouse him and the others had planned to look for supplies in. the entire time he's in there he keeps hearing sounds he thinks are just dei or hank but every time he asks or comments on it they just give him a look of confusion or a little 'what are you talking about?' it puts him really on edge, it's worse when he's in one of the further corners, digging through a few boxes and desperately trying to ignore how much it feels like someones there. anyway umm lol its just you ,,,, ehe . it takes him a solid minute to process that its you but as soon as it clicks he's yelling your name and running up to hug you. doesn't even stop to think that you could totally tear him a new one right then and there he's just too happy to see you. dei and hank both come rushing over after hearing him, dei recognizes you too and is just kinda 'oh hey !! friend !! :D' while hank stands there and just kinda stares.

-is able to take you back to base without too much argument from the others. he does his best to fill you in on everything that's happened in hopes you'll explained what happened on your part too. even if you don't he can't be too upset since he's just too gd happy to see you again ,,,, chances are you stick around him a lot . deimos is nice but u don't remember him super well and hank makes you uneasy lmao . its ok he thinks its funny though, just laughs a little whenever you stand in his doorway in silence until he notices you :)

Hanji sat down in the mess hall for breakfast. She rarely woke up this early when there wasn’t a meeting she had to get to or an expedition at hand, but it was an oddly good morning for her. She happily began to eat as the 100th cadet corps began to flood in to the hall and sat all around her. When she finished, she cleaned up after herself, headed over to the cooks refilling the food put out from the kitchens, and kindly helped them. After a few minutes, she made the turn out of the kitchen and overheard some of the young cadets sitting around and making small talk around the corner.

“Hah yea I can’t believe they just promoted those three idiots. Hanji-san is an absolute nutcase, and that stupid assistant of hers at her side every second, what was his name... Moblit?”

Hange froze holding a tray of food—she took a deep breath. She, Levi, and Erwin all got promoted to their new positions of squad leader, captain, and commander recently. She had to uphold some ounce of professionalism. “Hange don’t be your reckless self,” she breathed out and tried to keep her anger at bay.

“Oh and the new commander. Also crazy if you ask me, looks like he doesn’t care about anyone but his damn self.”

The small voice of another cadet retorted shakily: “Hey, you should probably respect our higher ups! They were put there for a reason and—”

“Petra, shut the hell up.”

“Hey! Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?? And hey, come on, they don’t call Captain Levi ‘humanity’s strongest’ for nothing!”

“Pfft Oluo, you and Petra are just a couple of suck-ups.” The young cadet continued, “Don’t even get me started on this so-called ‘humanity’s strongest’. Yeah his titan kill count is impressive but didn’t you hear? He couldn’t even save his two best friends, and they died,” he said with a smirk. “Wait what the—”

Hanji tackles the cadet to the ground, and began punching him at full strength, no holding back.

“YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT TOOK TO GET HERE. WE DIDNT ASK FOR ANY OF THIS! IT’S NOT LIKE WE ASKED FOR OUR FRIENDS TO DIE—” Tears welled in her eyes. She couldn’t help but cry when she was that angry. She knew it was something she needed to work on, but she didn’t care right now. This stupid cadet didn’t realize everything that was sacrificed and that the 3 of them were simply lucky to have lived for this long. Idiot.

Petra ran to get help, and Oluo tried to calm Hanji down, accidentally getting punched straight in the face by her in the process.

The young cadet was almost knocked out cold, another punch yielded a tooth flying across the floor. Before she could throw another punch, she felt a gentle hand catch her fist. She struggled against it, her heart still filled with rage at the cadet for saying such things. Levi and Petra successfully restrained her while sustaining a few bruises in the process. Levi threw Hange over his shoulder as she thrashed and yelled. He looked at the mess on the floor, but simply left. Clearly whatever he did or said was pretty bad seeing the damage Hange left—he probably deserved it.

Levi walked while carrying Hanji, who gradually quieted, all he could hear now were her quiet sniffles. It was bad—Hange was never this quiet after a fight. She was always ranting and yelling like crazy whenever something angered her, but she was dead silent. It worried Levi.

He carried her all the way out to the cadet training grounds.

“Hey what the hell do you think you’re doing?”

“Shut the hell up, Shadis,” Levi muttered coldly and walked right past him without hesitation, leaving the man dumbstruck.

He put Hanji down, and grabbed ODM gear from the small warehouse. He handed a pair to Hanji, who silently began to gear up with a blank stare, tears still falling inadvertently from her eyes. It took a lot for Levi not to just gather her into his arms—he knew what she needed and unfortunately for him, that wasn’t the appropriate move right now. Plus he wasn’t even sure if that was okay, he never really initiated hugs...

They walked out into the clearing in the nearby forest, wooden boards of titan dummies all around them. Levi handed her some blades.

“What now?” Hanji muttered, emotionless.

“Do your thing, Hanji.”

Night fell over them, stars the only source of light around them. The two of them sat on the ground, breathless. The titan dummies were basically nothing but kindling on the ground. Shadis would be pissed, but honestly, the thought of that made Levi want to laugh.

“Hey shorty, wanna grab some tea in the break house? I’ll make it taste as bitter as you,” she said with a laugh.

Levi almost smiled—Hanji was back to her normal self, and he was relieved. He was glad he came up with this idea to just physically get her anger out. She was basically like a puppy, just gotta tire her out til she had no energy, nothing left but rest as an option. He wondered what that cadet said to have angered her so badly in the first place.

They entered the break house on the training grounds, and Hanji began to brew some tea.

“Oi Hanji, what happened anyway?”

Hanji hesitated for a second, the words of that stupid cadet swirling around in her brain. There was a lot that he said that sent her fuming, but really... his unfair comment about Levi was the last straw. It awoke something within her and to be honest, she didn’t remember much of what happened after that—just blind rage, really.

She turned towards Levi, her eyes soft as she looked him up and down. He looked questioningly at her.

“Oh just throwing some insults, and he was rude to that sweet cadet, Petra was it? And her friend,” she lied. “Hah, Erwin is gonna rip me a new one tomorrow, it’s not my fault someone angered me the day after our promotion...” she said with a small laugh. Levi could tell she was lying, but he held his tongue. If she didn’t want to share, that was okay with him.

She finished pouring the cup of tea for Levi, and sat down at the table next to him.

Levi took a sip, and decided to bite the bullet—“Hey Hanji, um... would you uh... hm. Did you need a hug or something uh I know that you were really upset and maybe... it could help—”

A soft snore interrupted him. Hanji fell asleep right at the table, her head bobbing as she tried to balance it on her hand. “Oh thank God she didn’t hear any of that,” he thought to himself. He was too emotionally constipated and awkward for his own good. He swept her into his arms and entered the small quarters in the house. He laid her down on one of the beds, and pulled up a chair next to it. He gently slid off her glasses and pulled a blanket over her. He planted a small kiss on her forehead, and her lips seemed to curl into a small smile in her sleep. Levi let himself smile—no one was around anyway. He sat watching over her, making sure she got to rest uninterrupted.

- Itadori literally does impressions and acts out the scenes he imagines, he would be so into it, you’ll be eating popcorn and commenting on how accurate his impressions were!!

- Y’all r full on professional movie critics I swear, u guys probably have a whole movie journal too ugh gross🙄.

- After u guys finish you continue to stay cuddled up next to each other as u finish one of the two billion popcorn bags he made for no reason at all.

- it’d be dead silent just munching away, “yeah....that was a good scene”

- Ur cuddle position is either his head on ur lap (he expects u to pet him😌) or his head on ur shoulder, (he does this so he can be nosy and look at ur Instagram feed as u scroll around ur phone)

- However some nights if you want to be held, cue you sitting in his lap or laying all the way on him as he sits up and pets you😌✌️

Sleepovers 💤💤

- Sleepovers r so fun, usually u guys invite the whole Team Tokyo gang for a movie night and it just ends up as everyone sleeping over in someone’s dorm, (Megumi does not want to be there but u guys always force him to join🙄)

- If Megumi happens to stay in his room when you guys watched a movie, Nobara says “I have... an idea...”

- Cue you three dorks tip toeing to his dorm a giggling mess and knocking on his door.

- As soon as he opens the door he regrets it, y’all bombard him and hang out all over his room until u guys fall asleep.

- (he says it’s annoying but lowkey enjoys the company some nights)

✨Spa days✨

- Some nights Nobara wants to do a whole skin care/ spa day, so she has you all wear all the many face masks that she bought.

- I imagine she bought you guys spa robes on Christmas and you guys continue to wear it whenever Nobara wanted to have a spa day BYEEEETHAT WOULD B SO CUTE. Megumi with blue, Itadori with red, Nobara with orange, and u with purple

- imagine her painting ur nails with a whole green face mask on as she talks, “I think I this color suits you but I don’t know...”

- You twist your hand around, “it’s alright... but I do like that color a little more.” You pointed your pastel pink nails to the pitch black goth color. “Let’s just restart!”

- “Good idea!” She nodded and already started applying the rubbing alcohol.

- Itadori probably needs a hug and softly knocks on your dorm at 2 am.

- You weren’t sleeping anyways, just picking at the scabs on your knee as a movie played, so when you hear the knock you look up. You open the door to see him looking down.

- “is it okay if I come in?”

- as soon as you say “Yeah.” he’s already leaning in for a hug

- He’s the type of guy to hug you for an hour if you let him.

- Your legs started to ache so you patted the empty spot on your bed, he stays standing, “I wasn’t sleeping before you came, if that’s what you’re worried about.”

- He slowly nods and lays in the bed next to you, the both of you just staring at the ceiling.

- This lasts for a while until he out of nowhere pops the, “How do you think I’ll die?” Question.

- Like dude 😐 why do we gotta talk about that!!! Why!!! Chill!!!

- You stare at him but he doesn’t look at you, “I don’t know. Hopefully quickly.”

- He nods, “Yeah.”

- “And hopefully not around me.”

- He turns to you, but you continue “I mean unless it’s you dying of old age… but other than that I don’t want to see.”

- You hear a small gulp as he looks back at the ceiling. “I think I feel the same…”

- You continued to stare at him, he had a few gashes over his cheeks, you were scared to see what other scars he could have.

- Itadori went beyond his limit, as usual, so it wasn’t a surprise he got the worst of it that day.

- Your hands naturally moved to his hair, it was soft and smelled like your shampoo. You smiled at the thought of him using flower scented hair products.

- You shifted his head closer to you, until he moved himself into your shoulder, completely submerging you in his arms. He pulled you close, holding onto your clothes tightly.

- “I really can’t do much without Sukuna.” His voice was muffled as he spoke, “I keep getting reminded how helpless I am.”

- “Are you kidding?” You paused from petting him and he looked up, “You’re so strong, you alone protectected all of us from getting seriously hurt. You’re stupidly helpful by yourself.”

- He looks at you, almost considering your words before stuffing his face into your shoulder again.

- “You’re really cool Itadori. I think everyone in their own way looks up to your strength. Not Sukuna’s.” You started to pick at his strands, letting his hair fall between your fingers. “And unlike Sukuna, you have really good empathy for others. Whenever someone is sad you know how to cheer them up.”

- He sighed as you played with his hair.

- “I think you’re a helpful person, you do a lot for us and we think you’re more than enough.” You continued talking about how great he was and how much everyone loved him until you stopped getting responses.

- When you looked down itadori’s eyes were shut as light snoring left his mouth. He fell asleep all cuddled up next to you, though cute you were now stuck in his death grip until morning 😐.

Some Favorite Fics from 2020

Like last year, I want to end 2020 by highlighting some fics that have become favorites over the last twelve months. Before I dive into it though, I just want to take a minute to send some love to all of the authors writing in this fandom.

As of the end of 2019, there were about 8.8 million words of fic on AO3 for this fandom. This year, more than 450 authors have added another 15 million more. That’s so incredibly impressive, especially in a year this difficult. Thank you, thank you, thank you to every single person who contributed to that, whether you wrote one fic or a hundred, a drabble or a novel. Thank you for giving this fandom the gift of your creativity and voice. Your work is so, so appreciated, and you’ve helped to create joy in a year where it was often in short supply. 💗💗💗

A Case of You by DoubleL27 • rated T • 6k+ patrick is an absolute menace in exactly the way you would expect every valentine’s day. it’s funny and sweet and ends with them in exactly the kind of future we all want for them

Dulce by another_Hero • rated T • 1k+ original characters can be hard to do right. they have to be compelling enough to fit in with these characters we already know so well, and dulce is the kind of character who grabs you from the start. the whole series is lovely, but this first interaction with ronnie is my favorite of them

Tea-Kettle Love by ArabellaStrange • rated G • 5k+ even though this coda to “the pitch” isn’t technically canon compliant now, it still feels a lot like it is. it’s about the sacrifices we are and aren’t willing to make for the people we love, taking the new york discussion into more depth than we get in the show and still arriving in largely the same place

Vanquished by Codswallop • rated G • 3k+ if you’re looking for soft, fluffy sickfic, this is not it, lol. patrick is sick here but won’t let anyone take care of him. he’s stubborn and basically minor chaos ensues. it’s funny and sweet but not schmaltzy. the characterization is 👌, and it feels like the kind of thing that fits perfectly into the world of the show

To Come Out the Other Side by unfolded73 • rated T • 4k+ • warning for major character death i don’t want to read sad things about david and patrick very often, but sometimes the mood strikes. this one is definitely sad right from the start, but there’s hope and resilience through grief, and i think this year especially, there’s something to be said for stories that can make you feel like there is still good to be found after the bad

Hold Me Like You’ll Never Let Me Go by moodlighting • rated T • 21k+ i never would have thought that a fic would make me WANT to be trapped in an airport, but it’s 2020 and anything is possible, lol. this is what meet cute dreams are made of

Your mother keeps a spreadsheet by upbeat • rated G • 3k+ obviously i love a good spreadsheet, so this one was up my alley from the start, lol. but really it’s moira and patrick bonding through the cataloguing of her wigs (and all the stories that go with them) that makes this one an easy favorite

keep me in the pulses, keep me in the sound by dinnfameron • rated G • 2k+ this sweet little slice of a summer vacation made me ache to be with friends. plus, sometimes you just need some overwhelmingly happy david rose. he deserves it, and so do we

eggs and the flour, no higher power by withkissesfour • rated T • 1k+ i’m pretty sure this fic is the definition of sweet, in more ways than one. it’s a short piece, but the writing is lush and indulgent in all the right places, just like the cakes being described

sustineo by rockinhamburger • rated E • 10k+ before i was even done reading this fic, i wanted another 50k words set in this universe. the conversation between david and patrick is sharp in all the right ways, and because this david has such a hard shell to crack after being hurt in such a horrible and heartbreaking way, it’s that much more satisfying watching patrick break through it

All-Natural Care, Locally Sourced by Siria • rated T • 2k+ siria’s fics are always funny, with banter that’s so perfectly on point, and that’s certainly true here. but there are also care packages and photos and just so much love. it’s a perfect balance, just like the show

hold on to me as you go by helvetica_upstart • rated T • 3k+ i love a good look at just how long patrick has been head over heels in love with david and how much he was in this for life all along. this fic does just that through the framework of times that they saw their new house before they bought it, and it’s everything that you would want that concept to be and more

Exposed Brick by swat117 • rated M • 9k+ this is such a lovely look at david and patrick a few years into their marriage, steady in all the right ways, even when old fears try to rise up between them. it gives david a chance to be the solid and supportive one in the relationship, something i never get tired of reading

We Could Turn the World to Gold by middyblue • rated T • 27k+ as someone who also did c25k at one point, i def empathize with david’s plight in this fic, lol. as much fun as that part of the story is, it’s really the house and everything related to that part of the story that makes this a favorite in my book. this was posted very early in s6, so it’s not the house from canon, but it’s beautiful either way to see them so excited about building their future together there

Waiting on the Day by High-Seas-Swan • rated E • 22k+ this is another fic that makes me absolutely ache for things i couldn’t have this year, namely my favorite local brewery and all the nights spent there with friends. beyond that, it’s just a very sweet AU, and the scene with their first kiss and the rest of that night live in my head rent free

Pot o’ Gold by ahurston • rated E • 22k+ where is the leprechaun/love of my life who’s gonna take me out to eat all of the best foods that my city has to offer? this one is a slow burn but their relationship is so much fun to read right from the start that you definitely don’t mind taking your time getting there. also, the palm reading scene. good grief.

there is no design by the_hodag • rated T • 12k+ this fic gives us a look at some of david’s art, and all the loneliness and love that inspires it. it’s poignant and painful and hopeful and sweet in turn, and i think it does a marvelous job of capturing so many of the facets of david’s past that have made him who he is

A Little Broken, A Little New by nameless_bliss • rated G • 3k+ i’ve read this fic several times now, and david and johnny having a conversation about their own relationship through the guise of talking about patrick and his parents never fails to make me cry

happy golden days of yore by blueink3 • rated E • 17k+ i literally stopped in the middle of this fic, sat down on my kitchen floor, and had a good cry. i hate thinking about them ending up divorced in the first place, but even as exes, they’re so careful and gentle with one another and so, so clearly still in a forever kind of love. that makes it bearable to see them apart because even if it weren’t tagged for a happy ending, there’s such a feeling of inevitability to it, you know exactly how it’s going to end and just get to enjoy the devastating ride it takes to get there

Fifteen Hundred Miles by MoreHuman • rated M • 30k+ this is one of those fics where everything comes together just right and achieves a perfect balance of introspection and action, courage and fear, despair and hope, forthright honesty and cautious reservation... MoreHuman makes it all look easy, which says so much about all the care that had to have gone into the planning and writing. this fic does everything well, and it’s an absolute pleasure to read from start to end

840 Havenwood Road E by Distractivate • rated E • 10k+ we barely see david and patrick’s new house in the show, so it shouldn’t be possible for me to be as emotional about it as this fic makes me, every single time i read it. but it’s the home they chose, the place they decided to build a life together, and getting to see flashes of that life through the years and how much love they clearly had for each other within those four walls just makes me cry again and again

A/N: I’m gonna be honest and say that I basically DNF’d this one-shot after working on it for awhile. I liked the idea at first but then towards the middle my interests in it got a little iffy. anyways, I hope you can still enjoy it for what it is. I’ll def try to write more stories like this in the future! 

In which married Bucky takes advantage of the birthday party princess.

“Okay, let’s see, who wants to have their wish granted?”

The crowd of first graders erupted but you quickly held up your hands to shush them, “Before I can use my magic on any of my little friends, I have to make sure you’re all good little girls and boys. How many of you are kind to your friends and listen to your Mommies and Daddies?”

Hands raised and you smiled, “That’s very good, my friends. If you want to be a princess like me or a prince, then are certain things you have to do. Princess’s are polite, kind, and most important of all …” A hush fell over the crowd as they listened patiently before you suddenly exploded with giddiness, “They like to sing and dance! Will you sing a song with me, friends?”

Bucky watched from behind the glass door as you twirled around on the terrace. He sipped at his bottle of beer, noting how your eyes lit up as the group of children gather around you. They wanted to touch your ball gown and have you tap them with your fairy wand so you could grant their wishes. You seemed to be in your element and you hadn’t fallen out of character once as you pranced around in your fairy princess costume. It was a character from the latest Disney junior show that his daughter had recently fallen in love with and Natasha had the idea of hiring a party princess for her fifth birthday party. 

Both Natasha and Bucky were surprised when you volunteered to do it. You loved makeup and the idea of making their daughter’s birthday spectacular seemed like fun. Besides, you had only been nannying with the Barnes family for a couple of weeks and you wanted to make even more of a good impression. 

“I’m starting to think she actually has magic,” Natasha commented, and Bucky turned to see her placing candles on their daughter’s birthday cake, “I can barely handle our baby girl alone and yet she’s tamed fifteen of them.”

“She’s really something, isn’t she?” Bucky smirked and Natasha grinned, lighting the candles. 

“Keep it in your pants for now,” Natasha stated slyly, “C’mon Daddy, let’s sing happy birthday.”

As he opened the sliding door for Natasha, she rolled out the cake and the entire terrace erupted with singing. Bucky joined along, of course, watching as his daughter grabbed your hand and dragged you over to the cake. You sang happily, encouraging her to blow out the candles and make a wish when the song had ended. 

Natasha took a million pictures of you and, out of the corner of your eyes, you could feel Mr. Barnes’ gaze on you. You hoped that meant you were doing a good job. Keeping a smile on your face for that long was quite a lot of work. You watched as the birthday girl ran up to her father and he swung her in his arms.

You had already noticed what a beautiful family they were and how incredibly lucky they were to live in such a nice part of town. You hoped to have something like this one day and to find someone as attentive as Mr. Barnes. You were holding a little girl in your lap as she was asking if you personally knew Mulan before you heard a gagging noise.

Before you knew it, icing colored vomit was dripping down the bottom of your dress. 

Her mother came quickly, swooping the little girl from your arms, “I’m so so so sorry! She must’ve had too much cake,” You only smiled, trying to hide any disgust that you felt. 

“It’s okay,” You stood, making sure the little girl wasn’t embarrassed, “Even princess’s get tummy aches. Besides, I have lots of dresses in my castle.”

You felt a hand on the small of your back and turned to see Mr. Barnes, “The princess will be back in just a moment,” He spoke to the crowd of first graders as if to say that he’d personally help out with your accident. 

“I’m just going to return to my castle for a moment, friends” You assured the little ones with a smile, as Bucky helped you with the long train of your dress. Natasha had spent a fortune on the dress just to make sure it was realistic. He helped you inside, and as the sliding glass door closed, you let out a breath of air. 

Your smile fell a little though you didn’t want to appear completely tired in front of Mr. Barnes. One hand carrying your train and the metal one on your back, he led you towards the master bedroom. At first, you blushed but then you realized that was probably where the most room was. 

“You looked like you were having fun out there,” Bucky commented. 

“It’s nice making them smile,” You spoke earnestly and part of Bucky told him to beware. You were too pure for him to dip his fingers into yet he still wanted to taste you. 

“Do you want to take off your dress?” Bucky smiled evilly as your eyes widened and your cheeks heated with embarrassment. 

It took a minute for you to realize what he was actually asking, “W-Well, the show must go on, right? I think I can just try to wipe it with a wet washcloth and hope for the best. I don’t want to let this ruin the party.”

Bucky nodded though he added, “My daughter loves you so I doubt you could ever ruin anything.” That made you genuinely smile because you knew then that the impression you were trying so hard to make was definitely good. Natasha had even said you deserved a raise before you’d gotten thrown upon. 

Bucky led you into the bathroom before he retrieved a washcloth and ran in under the sinkwater for you. You couldn’t help but admire the luxury of it all, the tall ceilings and the chandelier that hung. You could fit the size of your entire apartment in their bathroom. 

You sat down on the tub and began to scrub at your dress, “I really appreciate you guys giving me a chance. I know I didn’t have as many qualifications as the other girls,” Bucky knew you’d be grateful for that. Your interview with them was good and Natasha liked your personality but Bucky wanted you because of your beauty and youth. 

“You’re a hard worker, Y/N,” You liked the way your name rolled off his tongue like you could hear the satisfaction in each syllable. “Natasha and I were thinking … I’m not sure she’d want me to mention it yet-”

“What were you thinking?” You looked up with curious eyes, “I mean, of course, you don’t have to tell me, sorry.”

Be patient with her, Natasha had told him. But looking down at how the heart shape neckline of your dress exposed your breasts, patience was the last thing on his mind. 

“We wanted you to stay with us, join our staff full time. Nat wants to start working more and it’s hard for both of us to keep up with things around the house.”

“Really?” You perked up, your eyes wide with excitement, “I’d love that. I’d love that so much, Mr. Barnes.”

Bucky admired the light in your eyes and knew the power he held over your life. You wanted this job desperately since it was probably the best you were going to do. You’d probably do a lot to keep it as well. 

“I’m sure Nat will be glad to hear it …. and you can call me Bucky, Y/N. Might as well drop the formalities if we’re going to be getting closer.”

Closer in proximity is what you thought he meant, “Sounds good, Bucky.”

It had been a few weeks since you’d moved into their luxurious home. It had been a complete dream especially with the huge pay raise that it had earned you. 

“Do you have a boyfriend, Y/N?” You looked up abruptly from where you were wiping down the kitchen counter. Natasha was sitting down at the island, typing away at her laptop, while she looked you over. You still had paint on your hands and on your cheek from the painting session you had with her daughter. Now the little girl was down for her night and Natasha thought it was the perfect time to get some information, “I mean, you just never mention anyone.”

“I-I don’t,” Your cheeks heated from embarrassment, “Dating isn’t really … my thing.”

“Why’s that? You’re a lovely girl, Y/N.”

Why was she saying all this? Why the sudden curiosity? Was she worried you’d bring someone around her daughter?

“I-It’s just hard. With kids, I’m confident but, with adults, not so much.”

“Bucky used to be that way,” You weren’t expecting to hear about him, “When I met him, he was very closed off. He thought dating was still like it is in the ’40s. Sure, it’s nice to settle down but everyone these days is so … open. You know what I mean?”

You tilted your head to the side, “But you and Bucky settled down?”

“Yes, we love each other and I wanted kids so it made sense. But we still like to keep things interesting. We want to make sure each of us happy.”

“How … How do you do that?”

Natasha bit down on her lip as she thought for a moment, “Let’s have a glass of wine,” She spoke, getting up from her seat.

“Oh, I don’t drink,” You rushed out nervously, “I mean, I’ve never done it before.”

She was still moving towards the wine cabinet, “There’s a first time for everything, right? C’mon have a drink with your boss.” Your boss, right. She was speaking so casually that you had almost forgotten the line between you. 

“Are you sure? What about-”

“Bucky won’t be home until late and the little one is fast asleep. We can have some girl talk, it’ll be fun. One glass won’t do any harm,” Natasha sat the two glasses on the counter before she started to pour you some red wine. 

You’d probably be good after one glass but the universe didn’t work in your favor that night. There was a second after the first glass and now you were a giggling mess. 

Natasha managed to reach into the deepest parts of your past and had you laughing at the same time. You were exactly as she had previously predicted. You had a sheltered life, you grew up disadvantaged but had religious parents. They shamed you into not doing a lot of things but Natasha manages to drill into you that “you shouldn’t be ashamed of anything you do”.

When Bucky strolled in later that night, he found you and Nat sprawled on the couch in the living room. Whatever plan Nat had was working on, it was clearly successful, “Bucky, honey, come sit with us!”

You set your glass down, realizing how comfortable you had gotten, “Don’t be shy now, Y/N,” Nat said to you as Bucky took a seat beside her, “Y/N was telling me about her love life.”

You stared at Nat in disbelief. You understood talking about this stuff with her because she was a girl but with Bucky? “It’s exciting, I hope. There are lots of people in New York.”

“A-Actually, I-”

Natasha placed a hand on Bucky’s leg, taking another sip of wine before saying, “She’s a virgin.”

Bucky looked you over with a smirk, “And I thought the fairy princess stuff was an act ... “

You weren’t sure if you should be offended so you only said, “It’s not like that. I still know things ... “

Natasha handed her glass of wine to Bucky before standing and walking to where you were sitting on the couch. She held her hands out to you and you took them hesitantly. She pulled you up so you were standing impossibly close to her, “How much do you know, honey?”

“I … “

“Don’t you want to learn some things? So you can please the man in your life?”

“You won’t be much use to your future boyfriend if you don’t know how to please him,” Bucky interjected, leaning forward. 

You hadn’t even thought of it that way …Maybe it was the wine or something because you didn’t object to their words. “I don’t think I can ... “

Natasha still held your hands as she guided you over to where Bucky was sitting, “Of course you can,” Before you knew it, she was pushing you into his lap. You felt his hands tightening on your waist and you began to panic. 

“Mr. and Mrs. Barnes-”

“It’s okay,” Natasha grabbed your chin, forcing you to look up at her as his cold hand roamed over your thigh, “We’re gonna help each other out. You can’t go the rest of your life without knowing how to please a man. How I please Bucky is with girls like you, understand?”

It was so far from anything you had ever experienced that you weren’t sure if you did understand. That didn’t stop Bucky from pressing his front to you, grabbing at your breast and rubbing circles against your nipples through your top, “Let me teach you, Y/N, I promise I won’t bite” He whispered into your ear and it must’ve been the wine that makes you whisper back, “O-Okay.”

You’d be lying if you said you never thought about Bucky in that way but the thoughts had never gone far because of Natasha. 

Natasha stepped away from a small grin on her face. After Bucky got his hands on one of the innocent dolls like you, it seemed to turn him into a complete animal in bed, and Natasha loved dealing with the consequences, “Bucky’s going to be very gentle with you, honey. Just give a shout if you need anything.”

Bucky watched as his wife stepped away, knowing he liked to watch her go. He turned his head back to you, dipping his face into your neck, starting to kiss the sensitive area there. It sent fire through you, not only to your cheeks but all over your body, “What do you know about kissing, Y/N?” Again, he could tell you were only pretending as you stuttered over your response, “Then I’m your first?”

You nodded. Nat had really hit the jackpot. He was going to thank her really well later. 

Bucky’s hand stroked your bottom lips for a moment, “Just relax,” You did your best but you couldn’t help but tense as he leaned into you and pressed his lips against yours. You thought it would be a short moment but his hands roamed over your bare legs as the tip of his tongue began to pry open your mouth. 

You let him and soon you were trying to copy his movements by moving your mouth against his. When he finally did pull away, you thought you might have totally embarrassed yourself, “Was that bad?”

Bucky immediately shook his head, “You’re a natural, baby.”

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

Despite everything, ya boi isn’t really that affectionate. He doesn’t like being vulnerable cause he doesn’t wanna risk the control he has, so any affection usually comes in the form of sickly sweet teasing & mocking. Like he’ll drag a knife/gun up & down their body while cooing about how pretty they look when they’re all scared & helpless beneath him, and that’s about as affectionate as he gets

Mmh he won’t actively make an effort to cover them in blood or anything, but he does appreciate how those streaks of scarlet look on their skin. He sometimes likes cutting them when they’ve misbehaved, and he especially loves whipping them until the blood starts beading up, but other than that, he’s prolly more of a fan of bruising. Too much blood can make too much of a mess, which just isn’t worth the effort in his opinion. He’s a clean boi uwu

He’s pretty damn cruel tbh. He enjoys hurting them physically, but he also absolutely adores messing with their head. He’ll act sweet & caring one second, then flip the switch & start mocking them for thinking he might actually be a good person. He likes being unpredictable with his cruelty too—it keeps them on edge. If they expect him to ridicule them, he won’t, and if they let their guard down & start believing he might genuinely care this time, he’ll be extra cruel~

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Oh, he definitely would. He’s smart enough to realize that what he’s done isn’t right, and he‘s probably beyond redemption at this point, so why not? Homeboy knows he’s going to hell anyways, he might as well enjoy the ride & do what he pleases ;p

He does many-a things against their will, and like I mentioned, he loves mind games & generally messing with their head, to the point of possibly breaking them. He’s also certainly not against dishing out punishments too. Whether or not they deserve it is sometimes questionable, but he’ll find a way to gaslight them into thinking it’s prolly their fault regardless ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He doesn’t like being vulnerable with someone he knows won’t reciprocate said vulnerability. Boy’s just not about taking those unnecessary risks. So he doesn’t really let himself show any kind of emotions towards them. And this mans is fucking excellent at hiding what he’s feeling, and tbh, as a yandere, it just makes him all the more downright terrifying

The only time he might start opening up is when, again, he’s tired/injured & his defences are down, or he thinks his darling might be falling for him & their relationship is getting,, kinda more serious/genuine. Even then, it’s a slow process, cause opening up to someone isn’t exactly a familiar concept to him

Oh, he loves it when they fight back. They can’t make things too easy for him now, can they?~ He likes when they aren’t afraid to show a bit of spunk; it only makes things all the more entertaining~

And besides, he knows that when it boils down to it, they can’t overpower him, so it’s not like he’s got anything to be afraid of anyways. They just end up looking super cute all flustered & upset trying to fight him off—all bark & no bite~

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

The whole thing is definitely a game. He wants to see if they can outsmart him—it gives him a huge rush & brings out this competitive side of him. He knows he’ll win in the end, ofc, but still, boy loves his little fucked up tricks & mind games, especially when his victim’s as cute & precious as his little darling~

When it comes to escaping, he’ll even go as far as to purposely letting them leave, just so he can leave traps around the forest & see if they can make it home—or if they end up crawling back to him. Make no mistake however; if they somehow, against all odds, manage to escape, he’s not gonna let that be the end of it. In fact, he’ll probably grow even more obsessed with them because they actually outsmarted him. The game would only really begin at that point 😈💀

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

I don’t think there’d be one specific event that’d be the worst experience. If anything, the constant manipulation & gaslighting would wear them down over time and really fuck ‘em up in the long run. Just the whole experience of being his captive would leave some lasting trust issues, to say at the very least

But yeah, he isn’t one to get too physically violent unless it’s they’ve really misbehaved so they aren’t likely to experience any emotional outbursts/near-death experiences. He plays the long con & would rather fuck up their life by twisting & warping their perspective so bad no one could undo it. Not that they have much of a chance at returning to the real world w/o him, anyways. Cause, like I said, even if they escape, he’ll likely keep watching them from the shadows before reclaiming or killing them. They’re either stuck with him, traumatized for life among the normal population, or they’re dead, plain & simple

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

Well, he’s got about a thousand back-up plans if they ever manage to escape that’ll lead them right back to his arms, but other than that, he doesn’t really,,,, know or care about the distant future?

Part of him realizes he might not always have his darling, while the other part of him’s convinced nothing could possibly tear them away from him. He’s kinda just betting they’ll eventually cave in, accept their fate & admit they love him back. At the same time though, he doesn’t want his little game to end, and he doesn’t want them to become complacent, so to speak. Despite all his careful planing ahead, he’s not really sure what he wants in the long run :/

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

Surprisingly (or maybe not so surprisingly), he’s not one much for jealousy. In fact, he’d definitely let Masky, at the very least, play around with his darling because ya boy knows sharing is caring 😏😉

Yet despite his easy-going nature, there are time when even he, himself, isn’t immune to those sharp pangs of jealousy & possessiveness. It’s more of a mental thing than a physical one, though. Like he’s fine with letting his darling be around others, as long as everyone knows they ultimately belong to him, but if he catches hint that his darling’s thinking about someone else, then he‘ll be none too pleased.

He wants their thoughts to always be about him; and whether in a positive light or a negative one, he doesn’t care which. So he’d find some way to punish them or gaslight them until they can’t think of anyone else anymore. They should know they’re all his, no excuses

Hm, Hoodie’s generally a reserved person, and that doesn’t change much around them tbh. He won’t be as quiet as he is around the other creeps, but he’s def not the type of yandere to gush about how much he loves his darling & how much they mean to him & stuff

Sometimes, he can even be,, kinda cold & stoic. He enjoys confusing them, so he might act like he doesn’t care about them & their presence is a burden—like he didn’t actively choose to kidnap them. He might range from acting like a cuddly murderous teddy bear to a detached blank slate of a person. Typically, when he puts some distance between him & his darling, it’s cause he wants them to fill the gap. He wants to see how far he’s twisted their mind to have them crave his acceptance, despite all the terrible things he’s done to them. He probably just,,,,, wouldn’t go through any courting. He knows that if he wanted, he could easily slip his way into their life like everything’s normal, since he does look like a regular dude, but that’s not really what he’s about

If anything, he’s more the type to stalk them for a few weeks, even months, slowly making his presence more & more known until they know something funky’s going on. At that point, either they’ll snap & hunt him down, or he’ll just break in & take them. Either way, he’ll wanna have his fun even before kidnapping them—none of that trying to impress them bs

Yeah, they are, but mostly cause he’s just so quiet & reserved that people don’t expect him to be so sadistic behind closed doors. Anyone that doesn’t know him well prolly thinks he’s a big ol’ softie, which he can be when he wants to, but they severely underestimate him. The creeps that know him a little better have an inkling of an idea as to what his true colours are, but he’s just so damn mysterious & elusive that it’s hard to get a good grasp on what he’s truly like. Ooh, he’s got a whole arsenal of punishments. There’s the regular physical ones like tying them up & sorta just,,, leaving them there for a while, there’s spanking, whipping, cutting—y’know, the typical punishments you might expect. He might also starve them or deny them warmth & human contact until they’re begging for his attention. He’ll also emotionally manipulate them & gaslight them until they feel super bad for doing whatever they did. Boy just likes playing a whole lotta mind games w his darling, what can I say? 🙃

Tbh, he can get pretty creative with his punishments if he’s in a sadistic mood. And he likes to keep his darling on their toes, so there’s no knowing what he might do to them. Sometimes the anticipation of the punishment is worse than the punishment itself :”)

Hmm... it depends how bratty they’d get. If his darling is the type to fight back a lot, he’ll take away most of their rights. No outside time, no getting untied, limited bathroom breaks, the whole shebang. But if they’re a bit more on the docile side, he’ll actually be pretty lenient. Like he’ll even leave the doors unlocked & let them go out whenever they please, so long as they come back before their curfew. The more obedient they are, the more rights they’ll have, so a lot of it depends on them tbh

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

Hoodie’s a pretty patient dude by default. And for his darling of whom which he adores so dearly? Oh yeah, he’s got plenty of patience. That doesn’t mean he’ll let them get away with misbehaving tho; it just means he won’t get upset when/if they do misbehave. He’ll never snap or yell at them or anything. This boy’s got a wild sense of control so, despite everything else, at least his darling doesn’t have to be afraid of him getting mad & going manic 👉👈

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

If ever his darling manages to leave or successfully escape, it’s cause he let them. Either he lost interest or he wanted them to return to their lives while he watches from the shadows. If he decides to keep them alive even after releasing them, he’ll still keep tabs on them, maybe popping in every now & then to remind them that their time spent with him wasn’t just a horrifying dream

If they die, however, and it wasn’t on purpose, he’ll be pretty upset. It’ll maybe be the only time he’ll have an outburst—when no one’s around to see it, ofc. But boy will just explode in a fit of rage & regret. He’ll completely wreck the room, taking out all of his aggression on the things around him—and boy won’t hold anything back. He might even inadvertently end up self-harming in the process too :”c

He’s not usually one to feel guilt, but he’d definitely blame himself for their death. He’d try to focus on his work to distract himself, to the point where he’d almost become a shell of a person. It’d take a good few months/years before he’d get over it. But I mean, he has killed some of his pretty close friends before, so he’ll prolly recover just fine. Nah, not really. Aside from blaming himself if they accidentally die, like I mentioned, nothing really makes that mans feel guilty. He knows what he did is wrong, he just,, doesn’t care lmfao 😅

And he probably wouldn’t let them go, either, unless he gets bored of them. But even then, the chances of letting them go instead of killing them are about 50/50; boy really just Does Not Give A Shit™️

Homeboy used to be a super sweet dude that wouldn’t hurt a fly, but Slender’s influence kinda brought out this twisted, fucked up amoral side of him. He already stalks & kills people for a living, so what’s the harm in bringing his work home sometimes, ya know?

He just wants to watch a cutie squirm in his possession—it makes him feel alive. Not to mention, those cat-and-mouse games go a long way in providing stress-relief from work. He just wants some good ol’ fashion fun & entertainment, can you really blame him? ;)

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

Honestly, he,,,, he kinda likes it 😳😳 Lowkey gets off to seeing them cry ngl, it just gives him this fucked up kinda rush. If he sees them curled up and crying, he might go up to them & caress their face, cooing his usual deceit, or he’ll grip their cheeks & lick the tears off as a way of mocking them

He might cuddle or comfort them if he’s feeling particularly sweet. If they’ve been bad, however, he’s more likely to leave them crying in the corner w/o paying much mind to them. Screaming’s a similar case, too, except he might gag them & let them scream until their throat’s raw. Only if they’ve been good will he give them some positive attention uwu

How he reacts to them isolating themselves depends. If they’ve been good, he’ll find a way to coax them to stop, usually via some kind of manipulation, and if they’ve been bad, he’ll just,,, let them do as please. If they keep isolating, only then will he start losing patience. He’ll find some way to force them out of it. This includes, again, manipulation of all sorts, withholding food & warmth from them, all that “fun” kinda punishment stuff. But he won’t apologize. At that point, it almost becomes a game to see who caves in first, and homeboy will not lose

While he does love his darling, they tend to be more of a plaything to him. And he might not stick to just one singular darling over the course of his life. He might let some go, or he might get bored & kill some others; it all depends on their chemistry. He gets obsessed with all of them, ofc, but he might legitimately care more deeply about some than others. In fact, the ones he really cares about, he‘ll even let himself be more vulnerable towards. But if he’s vulnerable w someone & eventually grows bored of them, he’ll kill them w/o releasing them, cause he doesn’t want anyone knowing his secrets. It can be difficult to do if he still loves them, but he’s gotta do what he’s gotta do

The whole thing’s really all just a game. It’s only if/when he manages to find the perfect victim that he’ll keep them forever. Someone who’s not too docile but who also isn’t afraid to fight back. They’ve gotta be pretty smart, resourceful & entertaining, too. He wants them to end up falling in love with him, but he also doesn’t want them to stop fighting him. Yeh, he probably would. If they can’t handle his mind games, they’ll break one way or another. But honestly, how cruel he is depends a lot on his darling. But if they’re super defiant, he’ll be much harsher, and if they keep ignoring his warnings, things will keep escalating until they break or he just kills them skdjkdls. First impression: Wow! I love this guy so so much. Whenever he wasn't on camera i was thinking "When am I gonna see Gamzee again? what's he up to? what's he like!!!" Basically i was just sooo intrigued

Impression now: Wow! I love this guy so much. But holy shit wow. It's a very "I will never understand you" kinda love. Like goddam u aren't a simple as i thought, apparently! I did not see what happened coming! At all!? Wow.

Favorite moment: Within homestuck canon, i gotta admit the shoosh-pap scene is real nice. But! My ultimate favorite was probably just his intro. Like, he just kinda sat around. Did gamzee things. Her pesterlog w/ terezi there was great as an introduction to how this guy interacts with other ppl. (Also i must admit i kinda like the GamTav rap session even if it did have a strange ending)

Unpopular Opinion: His design is incredible on every level of irony. I just love the way he looks! Her hair is great, his pants are super great, and even when they fake god tier! if he just took off that hood he'd look really nice! Also, not that unpopular i think, his pq sprites are pretty good! Def not the best in pq, but they pass the gamz test! I don't know how unpopular these opinions are but hey!

Fav relationship: What would happen if i didn't say GamTav? I'd probably be killed by some version of me from another timeline. GamTav is one of my, if not my, favorite ships in homestuck. To start i just loooooooove purple and orange together. whenever those colors r combined i get soooo happy. Also i just love to imagine them getting up to silly goofy shit. Like, now, it's so often that i'll watch a gumball episode and think "Gamtav moment!" because wow that show is very gamtav moment. Makes sense that it's my fav!
