I love him sm.... I wasn't sure where to focus this concept so it's after Chorus but before the whole Mark Temple situation. Which basically just means more mature leader Tucker. This feels short to me but idk, I hope you enjoy it :)

Tucker is a character who went through a lot of change throughout RvB.

He comes off as a man who's obsessed with he idea of intimacy and that's it at first.

Yet Tucker has become a great leader despite his Insecurities about letting people down or getting them hurt.

Tucker can come off as a strong yandere.

The moment he sees a darling he wants romantic intentions with, he is always with them.

His yandere behavior (I forgot it-) is Obsessive, Manipulative, Protective, Slightly jealous, Flirtatious, and Intense.

He's heavy with flirtation and makes it a goal to win you over.

Early RvB Tucker would be more flirtatious but late RvB Tucker would calm it down a bit.

He flirts with you because he's genuinely attracted to you but also because he just feels so... empty.

He wants to try and fill the void of insecurity within himself with everything involving you.

Even when he's grown as a leader for the Reds and Blues he still has the same goal.

Tucker will back off with his "courting" if you show discomfort.

As much as he wants a relationship with you he knows he isn't going to get anywhere if he breaks your trust.

Trust means everything.

When he's not flirting he makes crude jokes with you, hoping to make you laugh.

Tucker can actually come off as a nice guy to be around.

He's a bit impatient with his romantic feelings but will try not to force anything for the most part.

Tucker is a yandere who sticks close to his darling and has protective intentions.

He can also be jealous yet tries to play it off as a playfully/childish jealousy kind of thing...

In reality there's times his jealousy is burning.

In a way his obsession also heightens his Insecurities.

You see, Tucker has always been concerned his actions will get others hurt or killed.

When he begins to care for his darling so much, he becomes aware of just how easy it is to lose you.

He cares for you like family, just like the Reds and Blues.

Except with you it's less platonic, he genuinely hopes to be close enough to "see you without your armor on".

Tucker is still a pervert even when he's matured.

When he finds an opportunity to watch you, he's going to take it.

Tucker always thinks of you and watches what you're doing.

Sure... the others think it's weird but he has his reasons.

He'd be the one to constantly bring up the idea of a romantic relationship between you until you comply.

You have to accept at some point, yeah?

If you accepted a relationship with him, one way or another, he'll try to take it slow.

Eventually you'll get more intimate (It's his nature), for now he just wants to do something like hold you.

Tucker cares deeply for his obsession.

His first thought in situations is often how to keep you safe.

Tucker is capable of violence and harming others if it means he can't lose you.

It's usually a last ditch effort and always in a big genuine combative fight, but he'll use his sword.

Normally he finds murder too much effort, yet Tucker gets motivated if you need aid.

It's expected, you are in a war setting after all.

You don't bat much of an eye when he slashes an opponent down with his sword.

You don't even notice the intensity of it if they were trying to hurt you.

Tucker's greatest fear is losing you.

He doesn't care if he loses your respect, he plans what he does to keep you safe and happy.

Tucker may kidnap... although it's not a method he thinks of often.

Tucker tries to plan most of acts around keeping you safe and happy.

Hopefully all with him.

In terms of affection Tucker is most likely a kisser more than anything.

He's on the more intense side of romantic feelings and does his best to please you during such moments.

Just a little thing I talked about with a friend a long time ago, If we're talking about Tucker when he still has Junior, he'd use him against you.

Junior is his Sangheili son born of... alien means.

Tucker would take notice if you show parental care to Junior and use it as a way to date you.

It's hard to be a single father... and you seem to know what you're doing.

Why not date him? Junior could use two parents.

Maybe you can even give him a sibling.

This is a way he can be shown as manipulative instead of him jet being overprotective and using that to drag you around.

He's an intense yandere who's bold and willing to sweep you off your feet.

He seems so attentive and caring to your needs, all your needs.

What you most likely don't know is Tucker is using his obsession to drown out his internal issues.

You make the problems he has to deal with as leader more bearable.

What can he do to help? Let him know, even if it seems small or insignificant. He wants to do everything he can for you.

Later into your relationship, he proudly refers to you as his boyfriend, regardless of who he's talking to. Even Diavolo's heard him call you that.

Are you feeling down? If there's a reason, he'll fight it, but if there's not, or it's not a physical reason, you'll get your favorite drink, a blanket, and the rare affection he shows.

Mammon

He's not always sure how to be supportive, but he does his best. early on, he wakes you up by yelling boy. Like just the word. He means nothing but the best!

Extra luck for you. Except, instead of being all about gambling, your luck is always centered in affirmation- finding clothes that can hide feminine features while still being nice, people assuming correctly, and so on.

He's more than a bit of a tsundere, but he's massively overprotective, and anyone who misgenders you is gonna have to face the second-eldest avatar.

This man is a regular tumblr user, he knows all the tips and tricks and best places to get gender affirming stuff.

The first gift you get from him is delivered anonymously to your door, and it's a box from Akuzon that, when opened, reveals one of the little coming out boxes and a note in his surprisingly neat handwriting that reads simply "We're all proud of you."

He's shy as hell, but that's not quite enough to stop him from stammering comments about how handsome, masculine, and cool you look whenever he can work up the courage.

He's always happy to love the gender euphoria back into you, wrapping his arms around you, hiding his face in your neck, and murmuring about how lucky he is to have such a good boyfriend.

Satan's not about to treat you any differently for not being cis, or for not transitioning, he loves you for who you are, regardless of any of that.

Asmo likes to spend casual, domestic time with you when you're upset, knowing you're aware of the fact that to him, time spent doing nothing is the most valuable he can give.

His method for comforting you isn’t all that intricate, he just drags you into a nap and changes your dreams a little bit.

He’s the future king of the Devildom, of fucking course he can make a law that you have to ask for pronouns. 

this walking golden retriever of a man will gladly make sure you know you’re valid, of course! From calling you his boyfriend to cheerfully handing you a binder, he’s determined to make sure you’re fully aware.

Firm believer in affirmation cuddles. can’t have self-doubt if you’re being hugged too tightly to get the oxygen your brain needs! Just kidding, he won’t hug you that tightly, just make sure that you’re getting a good amount of affection.

He’s very proud of you. It takes courage to come out, he knows that, and he’s especially proud of you for doing it in an unfamiliar environment, especially considering you don’t have the chance to transition.

Now, if the only obstacle is money, he’ll get you whatever you need, but if the problem is medical or mental or anything else he’s here to support you. He’s here to support you either way.

As an extremely powerful demon, he’s intimidating. Not in the murderous way of Lucifer, or the hair-trigger way of Satan, but in the way that only he can be. A smile that threatens someone more than any sentence ever could. 

And all that really means is that you’ll never have to worry about getting misgendered or deadnamed, here or in the human realm.  

likes to address you by adding a teasing “Mister” to the beginning of your name, or murmuring something in the Devildom language that you can never quite catch, but that makes Diavolo giggle happily every time he hears it. 

Mr. Acts of Service himself, Barbatos is a big fan of making you a soothing cup of tea and butter cookies after a long day, and if you have allergies, well, that’s what spells are for.

his preferred method of comforting you is just to wrap a blanket around your shoulders, set out a tray of your comfort foods, he pays attention to these things, and talk with you. He likes to carry on a conversation, talking about nothing in particular. 

However long he has to spend with you, he’ll stay with you.

Solomon

Solomon’s human, even if he isn’t technically mortal. As such, he’s met his fair share of trans people, and cheerfully offers you the methods he’s been told of to help dysphoria.

He likes you too much to use you as a test subject, so that’s off-limits as a transitioner. 

You’re quickly going to wind up pulling all sorts of pranks with him, though, and he decides that you shall forever be known as the chaos boyfriends, cheerfully putting it in graffiti or a note next to some of your works. 

Solomon’s main method of comfort is distraction. Be it asking for help with a study, cooking lessons, or anything inbetween, he knows that sometimes getting your mind off things is important.

Solomon isn’t just a tumblr user, he’s practically staff. He set up an account when it was first created because he thought it would be funny and follows exclusively wizard blogs, which you’ll be send screenshots of at the most ridiculous times.

He likes to calm you down from dysphoria by giving you a new problem to worry about cooking!

Simeon

Angel to the end, Simeon’s a calming barrier against dysphoria. He always knows what to say to get you to stop worrying, or shut down dysphoria altogether.

Shows you snippets of writing, his and others, where trans people are there, just existing, without transitioning. “It doesn’t make you any less you” is his simple explanation.

He loves getting to watch you happy, and he’ll do a lot to get the privilege of that! The fact of the matter is, finding you a binder isn't all that hard, once you get down to it. Neither is stealing a male uniform, but that’s totally irrelevant, y’know? I mean really, surely nobody’d ever do that, right? 

He stole like three, sorry, borrowed for a good cause, since he wasn’t sure what size and didn’t want to ask.

Simeon likes to give hugs, just big ol hugs. 

He’s a big supporter overall, and never misses a chance to remind you of that.

Luke

You have achieved what Simeon could not: Luke openly considers you a brother. 

Now he’s interesting in that he comforts people in the way he was comforted, which means that he’ll drag you to his room and start telling you about his stuffed animals.

He might not entirely understand dysphoria, but he does understand wanting to fight people and not being able to because of reputation and also physical strength!

Luke invites you to baking sessions, and he has a sign to put on the door that says “brothers working, enter at own risk” in calligraphy. He likes to make your favorite pastries!

He will genuinely try to fight anyone who bitches at you, gender or otherwise. 

A good solution to all problems is making cupcakes and passing them out. People are always nice to the bakers!

I love Dia with all my heart, so I thought it was finally time I made a post for him

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

He is probably one of the more affectionate characters. Not many people are willing to get this close to him due to his status, so he is all over you the second you give him permission. His favorite form of affection is when you sit on his lap while he works. 

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Him as a best friend is a lot of fun. He’ll constantly sneak out of the castle just to hang out with you. He’d probably also wear those silly disguises so no one recognizes him. You two go all over the Devildom and he takes you where ever you’d like. In the end, you two usually get busted by Barb or Luci, but it’s always worth it.   

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Cuddles are literally his love language. He’s always coming up behind you and lifting you up into a hug or dragging you off to his room just to cuddle in bed. Being the prince of literal Hell can be so tiring, so cuddles are exactly what he needs after a long day. And once you two get into bed, you’re never leaving again.  

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He knows that he can’t settle down, but he would love nothing more. Honestly, if it weren’t for his responsibilities, he would have already dragged you off to some secluded house in a forest somewhere to just live in peace. It’s also thanks to his status as prince that he doesn’t know any basic household chores. He cannot clean, and he can barely cook without burning down the whole kitchen. He’s had to rely on Barb and his other staff for so long, that he’s just never had to learn. He wants to, if only to impress you, but he never has the chance. 

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

I don’t think he’s ever even been in a relationship tbh, so he’s never had to break it off with someone. If he did have to, it would be bad. Like, I’m talking literal execution in front of everyone in the Devildom bad. He is a very patient demon who is very caring towards basically everyone. If he actually had to break it off, there would probably be blood. We don’t talk about it.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

As prince, he does technically have to find a spouse, so he’s down to get married if you are. However, the whole point of getting married for him is so that his partner can carry his heir, so if you can’t get pregnant that might be a problem. Not with him, not at all, but more so with Devildom law and such. Afterall, he needs an heir, and he can’t let someone have it if he isn’t planning on marrying them. He’d still marry you regardless though, so there’s nothing to worry about there. 

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He is the gentlest giant you have ever seen in your whole life. He knows how big he is, and he knows how intimidating he can be, so he is very careful to make sure you know you can trust him. If he ever gets mad and feels like he might start yelling, he makes sure you are well out of range so that you don’t have to hear him. He also makes sure he never hugs you too hard or startles you without warning. He just wants to protect you, and that includes protecting you from himself if needed.  

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

A sucker for hugs, that’s what he is. It does not matter how, when, or where he hugs you, he just wants to, always and everywhere. If you’re in a place where he can’t out-right hug you, he has to be touching you somewhere. He’s lowkey possessive, so he loves any contact just to show others who you belong to. Hugs are just the best way to do that since they’re super obvious. And he also just loves you a lot and wants you to know. 

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He’d say it relatively fast. he’s not one to waste time or lead someone on, so if he knew he loved you, he’d say it. He wouldn’t even care if you don’t say it back, he just wants you to know how he feels about you. 

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He gets insanely jealous, but he’s always good at hiding it. With all of the public appearances and people he’s had to deal with, he’s become a master actor. Inside, he could be fuming with jealousy when someone so much as looks at you, but no one will even know. He just puts on his classic smile and ask you to go with him somewhere for some “business” you have to attend. In reality, he just wants to drag you away for some cuddles to remind him that you’re his and you love him above all else. 

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are usually rather soft cause he’s so afraid of accidentally hurting you in some way. They’re sweet and gentle, and so full of love. They don’t come as often since of how much he works, so that makes them all the better when they do. 

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He actually loves children, but they’re always so afraid of him. No kid would ever go up to him due to pure fear, so he never gets to interact with them. It really does make him quite sad since he would love to get to know the younger generation more, and he just finds them adorable. Maybe you can convince one (1) child to talk to him with the promise of candy after. 

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He has to wake up pretty early for work, but he always makes sure you’re still comfy before he leaves. If you wake up with him, he’ll talk to you about what his day will be like while getting dressed. If you’re still asleep, he tries his best to stay quiet as he gets ready. No matter of you’re awake or not, he makes you stay in bed and brings (read: makes Barb bring) you breakfast in bed. 

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

He’s usually pretty tired by the end of the day, so he wants nothing more than to just pass out with you in his arms. However, he usually still has work to do even after dark, so he’s forced to stay up. During these times, he loves when you come over to him and just sit there while he works. That usually motivates him to finish up faster so that he can get cuddles. Once he hits that bed, it’s lights out for him. 

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He seems like he would be an open book, but he really isn’t. Trust me, he’d love to be as open with you as possible, but he can’t. There are so many things he has to keep hidden due to his role as prince. Plus, he doesn’t have much to share since he can’t really get out much to being with. He tells you as much as he can, but he always has to stop himself before he goes too far. 

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He is super patient. He’s always having to deal with less-than-ideal situations, so he’s built up a good amount of patience. Usually, he’s pretty chill, so when he snaps, it’s for a good reason. 

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Quite honestly, his head is already filled with so much, so he can sometimes forget things you tell him. That’s why he has Barb write stuff down about you so that he won’t forget. He keeps all of these facts in a journal in his room, and you have no idea. 

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He loves the first time you stayed over at the castle for the night. Not that time when everyone went over, but just when you came over. He was still busy with work at the time, and he loves how understanding you were about it. There was a short time where you left his room, and he was worried with how long you were gone. He was about to go look for you when you walk back in with some tea and snacks to help keep his energy up while he’s working. It was this moment when he knew he loved you. The fact that you cared this much for him really made him happy. 

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He is more protective than anyone else. The entire castle staff will be told numerous times over that their number one priority is now to protect you, much to the annoyance of Luci and Barb. He also makes sure to keep you close whenever you go out, and he’s always touching you somewhere. 

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He would only have the best for you. Every date you two go on will be the most romantic thing you’ve ever witnessed. He would only calm down if you mentioned you prefer more lowkey dates, in which he immediately apologizes for not asking you first. He still wants to make them the best dates possible, but he’ll try and calm down a bit. 

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He tends to overwork himself, often leaving you alone in favor of finishing his work. He also gets way too overprotective sometimes, even going so far as to drag you away the second he gets jealous. 

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Like Luci and Barb, he only really cares about his looks because he knows he has to keep up appearances. He has to make a good name for himself, and looking good certainly helps. Barb also constantly pressures him into taking better care of his looks when he starts slacking off. 

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

It honestly depends on how close you two are. He’s used to people leaving him because they can’t handle being so close to the prince, so he might not even care if you leave him too. It’s only if you two have gotten super close that he might feel something if you were to leave him. 

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Okay, so, this came completely out of nowhere, but I have always lowkey had a  headcanon that he and Barb were in a QPR before. (for those who don’t know, it means queer platonic relationship). Anyway, I have no clue where I got this idea from, but it just makes sense to me. They probably broke it off once he showed romantic interest in you, but I promise they were in a QPR at one point. 

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

He wouldn’t like someone who would try and drag him away from his job. He wants someone who understands what it means to be the prince of the Devildom, and that includes them being aware of how much work he has and that he can’t just drop it all without planning even if he wants to

He’s bog, even for demon standards, so he tends to take up a lot of room. Honestly, he’s the kinda person that would spread out across the whole bed without a single care for who else might be in it. Let’s just say, you’ve fallen out of bed several times because he accidentally pushed you out.

Still though he can't help, but think of his darling as something more. He's a womanizer and rumors say that he's had many different girlfriends at the same time. But with the sudden entrance of his darling something seemed to change. He suddenly turned extremely obsessive, wanted to know everything about them and he could never stop thinking about them ever since. So even if he knows that some things he does aren't technically right, he views this whole situation as some sort of destiny and that his darling is his only one. He's quite infatuated with his darling for that reason.

✨Manipulative and overprotective. Hibiki obviously has his charm upon his sleeve and there is a reason he's been voted for several years in a row as a boyfriend every girl would like to have. Problem is that if his darling is looking for a serious relationship, they might ditch him since he is a womanizer and they wouldn't want to be with someone who hangs out with numerous women at the same time. Hibiki has to prove something in here and he is aware of that. But he's a determined and persistent man and he will make sure that he'll court his darling successfully and he isn't above making himself look better than other possible competitors. And a man has to protect his lover after all so of course he is more protective, though he overdoes it in order to look more like a gentleman.

✨Hibiki might just experience for the very first time in his life how real jealousy feels like when you have someone you want to love and cherish for the rest of your life. As someone who is constantly being talked over and the knowledge that he is everyone's dream man give him a certain confidence and since he is a polite man, he never really lashes out on someone. But he learns quickly that he dislikes it when someone else tries to charm his darling the way he does and that e likes it even less when they react flattered by it. Such experiences never really fail to make him a bit more possessive since it's a brilliant reminder that he wants no one else to steal you away from him.

✨He ensures protection as good as he can, but if his darling is a mage themselves he naturally admires their strength and respects it when they can kick someone's asses all by their own. We did see in the Grand Magic Games that he isn't exactly strong when it comes to brute strength so in that aspect his darling might actually surpass him, but he is smart and great in other things. He has without a doubt his own little fanbase and has influence due to his popularity so it may very well be that he uses this against people he views as serious threats and destroys their reputation just like this. He does this more with people who harrassed the s/o or make their life hard rather than people who try to snatch his darling away and make them theirs. In such cases he rather trusts his own looks and charms.

✨Assuming that he does manage to become his darling's boyfriend, it might be not very likely that they would break up very fast since Hibiki almost appears to be the prefect boyfriend, he's probably just a bit too much. But since Hibiki views the whole reason you two met in the first place as fate he of course doesn't plan on letting his darling leave now that he's found true love. He uses manipulation over violence since he sees himself above such brute methods and in general he prefers blackmailing and bribing over physical force the moment he fails to solve an issue the normal way.

✨It's really not seen as anything serious when he first is seen in public with you, but when it is suddenly made clear soon after that he stopped looking at other women and stopped flirting with every women he's encountering, it's made clear that this is due to his relationship with you. His teammates and Ichiya congratulate him soon after for having found the real passionate love. Hibiki is actually a bit careful around his teammates when you're with him since they are womanizers as well and for that might behave the same with you which does make him jealous a bit. I think he has no real problem being extremely cheesy and romantic with you even in front of others. That guy does give his darling space even if he can be rather clingy from time to time, but if he misses them he tends to try to communicate per telepathy.

Eve Tearm

💛Eve is pretty much alike to Hibiki in this matter. He as well is a semi-delusional Yandere. However, he isn't like Hibiki a more intellectual character yet and different from Hibiki lacks the more serious side. He is younger after all and views that as part of his charm so he has a far more stronger side to himself than Hibiki has. Because Eve falls much more faster in love than Hibiki does and for that has a much more stronger view on destiny and that him and his darling are meant to be. He is protective as well. He might be younger and maybe less experienced than his other friends, but he as well wants to prove his dedication and love to the s/o.

💛Obsessive which should be obvious. What kind of lover would he be if he wouldn't know how to make you happy and how to always surprise you pleasantly. Something that still marks a big difference between him and Hibiki is the fact that Eve actually turns out to be more on the shy side once he's really fallen hard for his darling which is why he at first tends to be a bit more on the stalkerish side before Ichiya, Ren and Hibiki encourage the young man to go for this beaty before someone else takes them away from Eve. That includes them as well, they are womanizers. Eve uses manipulation less than Hibiki does since he is surprisingly bashful, but he will sweet talk things more harmless and appealing if he has too.

💛Eve is less possessive than Hibiki is and overall is less jealous. His darling gets their freedom and can talk to others all they like, he can endure them having friends and spending time with others. He is somewhat more cautios around other members of The Trimens for clear reasons. It isn't like Hibiki and Ren don't respect the fact that yo are Eve's lover, but being charming and flirting with women runs simply through their blood and so they might subconsciously accidentally and up doing just that. Eve of course is respectful with his friends and they understand him and stop quickly as well. In front of strangers flirting he still retains that more mature approach similar to Hibiki, but just like him he shares the dislike of seeing other people being all gentleman and nice to you the same way he is. He's not shy when it comes to making it to others clear that you already have him.

💛Similar to Hibiki he will share the same respect and admiration in case you are a wizard yourself and for that have spells up your own sleeves to fight for yourself, though in case of a sudden battle Eve would like to fight right besides you. Even with his whole soulmate belief Eve still mostly turns away from the idea of killing someone as long as it isn’t an emergency situation. He likes discussing it out as well and in the case that someone does try to cause troubles, you have a guild ready to help you out since Eve naturally won’t let anyone harm you. He can sabotage certain situations as well where odds are put against the person he views as a threat.

💛Assuming that you are part of Blue Pegasus, you two would already spend a lot of time together so there would be no need for him to kidnap you since he constantly hangs around you in the guild, regarding clinginess he can be more extreme than Hibiki is. He is younger and more delusional after all. And since he is seen from everyone in the guild as sie sort of younger brother he would definitely be able to count on their help in case something should have happened that caused you to be mad at him.

💛The wizard, despite higher clinginess, still respects the fact to hold back in public more than Hibiki would. Ren and Hibiki most likely triggered him to go out of his way and talk to his darling way back when he was still a secret admirer and didn’t know how to set up a good scenario and how to talk to them. Has a more submissive nature to him so he would like his darling to be the one to lead this relationship whilst he follows along and does in the meantime things to please them and make them happy. But similar to Hibiki he stops flirting with other women as we for the sake of you.

Ren Akatsuki

🎆Funnily from all three of them, he probably is the most lucid one. But he still only is a semi-aware Yandere to have, he's stained ith the same delusions as his team members. He can view many of his habits as rather unusual and he knows that as well, but in the end his belief in the greater love manages to overcome most of his doubts and insecurities whether he's wrong about his feelings or not. He mostly tries to show his feelings in a more tsunderish form, but in the end he as well is far too much lovestruck to come over as very cold and his darling can tease him greatly for it. From The Trimens he's notably the most possessive Yandere to have.

🎆Protective and manipulative. No matter how cold he may try to act, he'll always defend you from others and save you when you do trip into some issues and even if he complains afterwards that you should have been more careful, he was very worried and that's evident. Ren is subtle about his manipulations as well, mainly because he wants his darling to love him without him having to use bribing and other sorts of lies and tricks, but similar to Eve he will do it when there would be the need for it.

🎆He doesn't get along very well with other men except Ichiya, Hibiki and Eve for the real funny reasons because he views other guys as his rivals in love (don't expect girls to be safe from this either, he'll merely be more polite). And Ren is the most rude about his jealousy because even if he is more embarrassed to show how much he really do loves you, he sure as hell won't have others flirt with you and take you away from him. He's the passive-aggressive type with such people and his feelings for his darling are always made obvious during such times. In front of people like Hibiki and Eve he is less harsh, but it doesn't stop him from shooing them away when they are suddenly all over you as well.

🎆He might just be the one who would be the easiest triggered from all of them to act when someone starts looking more and more like potential troubles for the s/o and the relationship. I would say that with love rivals he wouldn't be violent, more focused on just scaring them away and use threats and warnings to stay away the moment someone becomes very persistent on having his darling. If it comes to people such as bullies or perverts he has a faster way to react because simple flirting isn't anywhere near as worse as being catcalled or otheriwse humiliated. But just like with Hibiki and Eve I really only see him killing someone when the circumstances are very bad and the person turns out to be a possible death sentence for his darling if he doesn't do something. Anything can happen in the heat f a battle.

🎆Despite his tries to come over as a Tsundere, he still spends a lot of time with his darling which kind of blows his cover up, but that really isn't something new. Ren isn't necessarily clingy unless someone triggered his jealousy extremely or recently something bad happened to his darling and for that reason he decides to accompany them for safety reasons. Kidnapping is still something he wouldn't really consider since, as already mentioned, he is the most self-conscious Yandere to have from those three.

🎆How you can tease him about his constant tries to come over as a Tsundere despite easily getting flustered around you is really funny. Ren wants to look cool in front of his darling which means he obviously doesn't want to embarrass himself whilst you're watching so he always tries his best. He cools his interactions with other girls extremely down after he's courted you since he obviously cares about you more than anyone else. He might still fall back into the habit of simple flirting, but he learned his lessons quickly when you had enough of it, avoided him and did the exact same thing with Hibiki and Eve who naturally flirted back. He got quite mad at them afterwards for this, though they only helped you giving Ren a taste of his own medicine.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about chapter 138 again, and I came to a few conclusions. First and foremost, I’m surprised at the amount of Mikasa’s fans who are happy about the possibility of the cabin vision being an actual AU. Mikasa has been one of my favorite characters pretty much since the beginning, but I feel like - if the AU is real - it’s a huge step back for her progress and general well-being. Let me explain my point below - warning, it’s pretty long! I’ll be using manga panels (I obviously don’t own them, all credits go to the author!), and there will be spoilers.

My perspective on Eremika

I’m a firm believer that Eren and Mikasa’s relationship is a bit too unhealthy for Mikasa, at least in it’s current state - to me, it’s clear as a day that it’s way too unbalanced. Mikasa just invests more in it - it’s been shown countless times, both in the manga and anime, that Eren’s safety and well-being is her top priority. He’s on her mind most of the times and she constantly wants to be near him - she thinks of him as her safe place and home.

But what about Eren? He’s often irritated and suffocated by her overprotectiveness. He’s quite a proud person who doesn’t want to be constantly saved - despite generally needing it sometimes. In my eyes, it’s another imbalance - Eren wants to be the strong one, but since Mikasa is just naturally better at that, he constantly feels belittled, like it’s a form of rivalry.

On top of that, throught the entire series Eren has his own set of dreams and goals that doesn’t necessarily always revolve around Mikasa - all while Mikasa makes up her plans and goals solely around Eren. She even admits that all she wants is just to be at his side.

What concerns me too, however, is that Mikasa often puts Eren’s safety and well-being over her own - and it’s something that she realizes. 

Sometimes, Mikasa’s friends act as a voice of reason, but when someone tries to raise any objections or concerns against Eren, she usually backs him up or tries to rationalize his actions. In the example below, Jean is concerned about the scar that Mikasa got after she got attacked by Eren (right after Eren lost control over his titan in chapter 12).

On top of that, Mikasa can be very passive, and even uncritical when it comes to Eren’s more questionable actions. There are times in which the latter can get a bit too blunt, or even straight up mean, but Mikasa either protects him, tries to justify his actions or is literally immobilized by them - like in the scene in which Eren insults her and proceeds to fight Armin, who’s been trying to back her up. Notice how Mikasa is unable to stop Eren from continuously attacking Armin (when, a reminder, the latter one stood up for her), but immediately jumps in to stop Armin from attacking Eren. You can clearly see that even she is shocked by her reaction.

We can also see her being in denial about Eren’s hurtful actions later on. She doesn’t even want to talk about it when Jean brings it up:

She’s also still concerned and worried about Eren a few chapters later, after he had done and stated that he’s about to do terrible things - even at times when her other friends were endangered. This time, it’s Armin who tries to act as a voice of reason.

Now, before we get ahead of ourselves: 

Do I think that Eren doesn’t care about Mikasa, or even hate her (as he said)? No - she’s obviously extremely important to him and he was definitely lying during the table scene. Personally, I’ve never seen him having any romantic feelings towards her, but that doesn’t mean anything - love doesn’t always have to be romantic and I 100% believe that she’s still someone who he holds very dear to his heart. There are many moments that show that he’s also very protective of her, and that - along with Armin - she’s one of the most important people in his life. 

But my point still stands - aside from that, the relationship is just too unbalanced to be considered healthy, especially for Mikasa. Both Eren and Mikasa see it in different light, which often cause them to collide. I just can’t help but feel like Mikasa sacrifices too much for it, too - she often ends up jeopardizing her safety, constantly worries about Eren and clashes with her friends because of it. To some extent, Eren may be doing some of these things as well - but let’s be 100% honest, never nearly as much as Mikasa does. He fiercly protects her when she’s in danger and backs her up when he agrees with her, but at the end of the day he has his own goals and opinions. He doesn’t fixate himself with Mikasa nearly as much as Mikasa does it with him - he’s never jealous of anything but her skills, meanwhile she's often on alert when he’s around other girls. In the manga, she’s displaying jealousy over Annie and Historia, in the anime we can add Hanji to that pool, while in A.O.T. Wings of Freedom she’s also jealous of Sasha and even freckled Ymir - all while Eren remains oblivious and - in these situations, rightfully so - annoyed.

We know that there are reasons why Mikasa treats Eren like this. He obviously saved her life when they were children, but it’s also because she was strongly traumatized by losing both her biological family, and then people who took care of her right after that. It’s only natural that she does anything in her power to not go through that again...

...but it’s important to question if the way her relationship with Eren goes - how she commits to it 100% and how it affects her - is really the best way for her to heal and eventually live a happy life. I believe that Eren himself saw that it was becoming too toxic for Mikasa - and, considering that he actually cares for her and knows that he doesn’t have all the time in the world, he focused on making her move on. In my opinion, that’s why he wanted to push her away during the table scene. It’s also why he tried to get rid of the scarf that Louise brought to him. Even if the execution is far from perfect, he still wants what’s best for her, so he tries to put an end to enabling her unhealthy coping practices. He wants her to live a long, happy life.

Soooo...how does “the cabin AU” fit into all of this?

The answer is simple - it doesn’t. It’s a huge mixture and repetition of everything that’s harmful about Mikasa’s obsession with Eren. It’s a confirmation that Mikasa would be able to leave the entire world for 4 years of constant lying to herself. To betray her friends, leave everything behind, act as if everything was going to be okay and, in turn, make it all worse for herself. Because let me remind you one thing - Mikasa will go on living after Eren looses to the titan curse...but what will she do from now on? Will she stay in the cabin forever, alone and with no one to talk to - no one to share the pain after saying her final goodbye to Eren? Will she come back to the war-ridden world and face her old friends - like Armin who must have been frantically looking for her and Eren? Some of these friends may not want to have anything to do with her after all that - some may be already dead. Maybe there’s no place to go at all.

In my opinion, Eren being okay with this would ultimately prove that he doesn’t care about Mikasa’s wellbeing - and, as I’ve said before I just don’t think that’s the case at all. On top of that, as stated in the beginning, it would serve as a regress of Mikasa’s character - she wouldn’t be able to overcome her weaknesses, which would only make her life harder in the long run. Therefore, I simply can’t accept this vision to be an AU. What do I think it was, then?

Mikasa believes in Eren’s good heart, despite all awful things he commits - she repeatedly says that he does it all for them - his friends...and yet she wants to believe that there must have been a way to not let it all happen. A part of her may be blaming herself, which is why she questions if she could have changed anything by giving him a different answer. 

To me, it’s very obvious and I have to admit: I was horrified to see the amount of fans saying “If only she hadn’t family-zoned him, so many people would still be alive!”. Mikasa was NEVER to blame here and her answer should never have a force to change something like that. At the end of the day, it was Eren’s decision to go on with the rumbling, and I hate to see Mikasa (and the fans, too!) putting any blame for it on her.

In conclusion, I really believe that the vision was Mikasa’s daydream - most likely created as a coping mechanism since at this point she knew what was about to happen - what she had to do. Not any AU flashback, but rather a poor, traumathised girl trying to come to terms with the cruel reality - and ultimately reclaiming her strength. In her mind, she comes back to her safe place for a few moments, just to get a bit of comfort - a place where she and Eren live peacefully and safely. In fact, the panel below may suggest that she was dreaming about something similar ever since the training days:

I also believe that, at some point, Eren enters that dream - perhaps somehow through paths, or is sent there by Ymir. There, he once again reminds Mikasa that he wants her to live long, be free and forget about him.

I think in the end, Mikasa rejects that fake utopia, finally understanding that it could never happen and it was not her fault. She accepts the reality as it is and stops rationalizing Eren’s actions. She also comes to terms with her feelings towards him, but won’t let it cloud her judgement anymore. She will remember him and cherish these memories forever, but acknowledges that it has gone too far - she chooses humanity, the world and finally: a long, happy life for her. Just like Eren would want for her.

This time, Mikasa wraps the scarf around herself.

Chrysanthemum: How does your muse express romantic love? How do they feel about love as a concept?

Since we headcanon Katakuri as aroace, we'll talk about platonic love here, if that's alright! To him, love is all about feeling safe and comfortable. The best indication of his love is when he becomes trusting enough with someone to lean onto them slightly, close his eyes, and rest, spending time with them in comfortable silence. To those he likes, Katakuri will also often bring random trinkets: little gifts, things that he liked or that made him think of the other person. A pearl taken from a defeated pirate crew, a seashell, a picture he found pretty - he'll always give these kinds of things to the people important in his life, hoping that they will like them too.

Cracker is a complicated case. Although he kind of wants romantic love, he doesn't have yet much experience with it, and therefore (although he wouldn't admit it) he's constantly scared of fucking up. While overconfident and loud usually, around someone he likes he changes into a timid, awkward mess. A not obvious but crucial way in which he expresses affection is simply listening to the other person attentively. He's a gloat and yell kind of guy normally, who rarely listens, so once he actually pays attention to the other person...you know he's in pretty damn deep.

Hibiscus: How does your muse view the gentler, daintier things in life? As things worth preserving & caring for, or as things only bound to wither and disappear?

Katakuri likes and protects anything soft and gentle. He will take a step to the side if it means avoiding trampling over a flower, he will pick up a slug from the road to bring it to a safer location. He's a gentle giant, wholesome on the inside, although he has to always make sure he isn't seen doing those things, as it wouldn't work together with his threatening public image he adopts to keep his family safe.

Cracker is like a polar opposite of that. He's a menace wherever he appears, and as we saw in canon, he's absolutely not against destroying an entire forest (with his pure vibes I guess?? The fuck was that technique) just because he can. He'll sometimes pick on those weaker than him, and generally believes that if something's easy to break... Tough luck, natural selection, bitch. The gentler things and people in life need to get the fuck out of his way. Otherwise, they get squashed.

Ivy: What are your muse's views on marriage? Do they believe it is something strictly for love, or an institution rooted in business & social benefits? Do they desire or have they desired to be married?

Answered in detail here! Of course, both are pretty disillusioned in marriage and know well that it doesn't always happen out of love. Katakuri finds it to be a good thing for others but not really something for himself, Cracker on the other hand, would like to get married but only if it's his own choice.

Marigold: Is your muse prone to jealousy? How might they handle envious feelings?

Katakuri is not jealous often, but he does experience envious feelings sometimes. All the time he's lowkey jealous of those who get to live normally, for starters. Rarely, but sometimes he gets jealous over his favorite siblings too: since he doesn't have much free time, whenever he has time to spend with them but they choose to spend time with someone else, he feels something like a sting. He's a quiet-jealous type. Outwardly, he won't say anything, even telling them that it's okay to reschedule. However, he'll (mostly unconsciously) punish himself and them for it by throwing himself into more work and having even less time for them.

Cracker's jealousy is frequent and explosive, especially if he has a crush on someone. His high levels of envy result from his insecurities in the romantic domain; as overconfident as he is, he knows he lacks experience, and hence finds anyone else with experience to be a dangerous rival. He's a territorial guy and will absolutely stare daggers at anyone he deems dangerous, and often no reasoning will work to convince him that he has nothing to worry about.

Violet: How does your muse respond to betrayal?

Betrayed Katakuri is a Katakuri that shuts off. If required by Mama to kill the traitor, he will do so, and then sulk for months. During this time, he'll slip way more into his perfect persona and avoid vulnerability even harder than he did until now. Keeping it all inside, he'll buzz with negative emotions, and snap easily - instantly apologizing to those he snaps at and feeling guilty about it, but not being able to help it. For a visual representation, this meme describes it about perfectly:

For Cracker, it all depends on how close to him the traitor was. If they weren't that close, he'll angrily beat them up to a bloody pulp until they stop breathing, rage for a while, and call it a day. But if he genuinely trusted them, god save Totto Land. He'll make all hell break loose, destroying everything around him out of anger, and might even cry a bit; something that doesn't normally happen to him often.

Zinnia: How has the loss of fallen comrades and/or loved ones affected your muse? Has it taught them anything or given them any new perspectives?

Katakuri can say he's lucky enough to not have lost anyone very close to him yet, being normally able to help it thanks to his precognition and hyperfocused on avoiding risks to his loved ones ever since Brulee got hurt. Of course, he saw plenty of crew members, homies, and Totto Land citizens die, but fortunately, it wasn't yet anyone he'd be really broken over losing. Seeing death all around has kind of numbed him to the idea of dying himself one day (he's completely at peace with that thought) but he's still as terrified of others dying as ever. It feels like his failure every time because if he can foresee something but cannot prevent it... Then it's really on him, right?

Besides that, he has learned to appreciate the lives of those weaker than himself through seeing them fight for survival and die. Seeing their ambitions, seeing some of them smile in their death and other call out the names of their families, it all made Katakuri realize that even the smallest of people have their own great struggles, hopes, dreams. This is something not many of his siblings pay attention to, but Katakuri greatly appreciates regular people and normal everyday life, trying to protect them as much as possible.

If he lost someone very important and close to him, though, Katakuri would basically react the same way he reacted to Brulee getting her scar, except 10 times more strongly. He'd take on even more responsibilities, get overprotective, and try to be in 10 places at once to not ever let something like this happen again. Besides that, he'd visit his loved one's grave way too often, spending every moment of his free time there and actually talking to it to ease the grief he'd feel.

Likewise, Cracker isn't really that close to so many people, so he also didn't yet lose anyone he'd strongly care for, but he saw plenty soldiers and civilians die; and actually caused some deaths, even within his own ranks. To him, seeing weaklings die is kind of a power trip. Death doesn't humble him, it actually feeds his ego: after all, if he's the one surviving, he must be amazing and special.

However, if someone close to him died, Cracker would be devastated. It wouldn't teach him anything good, instead, it would only make him seek out revenge and get obsessed with destruction due to just how pissed at the entire world he'd be. He would be sad, of course, but he wouldn't really know how to accept this emotion, so he'd react with pure, unbridled rage instead.

He wouldn’t be your friend, he’s your leader, you're his subordinate.

He will secretly want cuddles, but he can’t admit that. He a supervillain he can’t have people see him getting cuddled.

But I think secretly when it’s just you and him. He’ll want cuddles, even if he’s the Most Wanted villain in Japan- He loves being cradled in your arms.

~Mad that seeing you again would bring up uncomfortably human feelings he thought he had buried, mad that you were still a distraction, mad that you’d have the gall to be excited to see him, even mad at the sort of relief he’d feel because at least now he wouldn’t have to worry about you haunting him, too.

~I guess it sort of follows some of my thoughts in THIS POST, because I don’t think anything particularly interesting would happen with yandere feral Dimitri unless you were an active participant in trying to ~help~ him. Plus, you trying now would be yet another great reason for him to cling to an unhealthy connection later.

~Some of my favorite scenes to imagine here would be with you trying to help Dimitri in some way, trying to get him to eat or drink or engage in some way other than talking about revenge or murder, and him being rude and dismissive towards you. But then you give up and say how you’re gonna go train with the professor or someone and suddenly he feels it’s incredibly important that he trains, too. In service of killing Edelgard, of course. 

~Dimitri ridiculing you while aggressively attacking you for not being strong enough to be useful to him and pointing out all of your weaknesses while berating you for not valuing your life properly is actually a pretty good display of how I think feral yan Dimitri would be overall. Afraid of losing you for reasons he can’t really understand and dealing with that fear using anger and aggression and violent sexual tension. 

~Another nice thought is Dimitri getting extra physical in questioning you about your investment in him and why you’d be trying so hard to help. Which, if he realized your motives and feelings, could easily end up in a… Compromising situation. All that anger and those repressed feelings bubbling up could lead to some fun little scenarios. 

~He mainly hangs out in the cathedral during these chapters too, which makes me wonder to what extent he’d make a point of being beyond salvation or forgiveness, how far he’d go to illustrate the idea that your feelings would make you just as undeserving and incapable of salvation as he was. What’s a little sacrilege to a monster like him?

~While Dimitri wouldn’t actively keep you near him, or even acknowledge that he’d want your company to the point of being rude about you forcing it on him, I can see him being really passive aggressive if you decided to comply with his proclaimed desire for solitude. Like, talking about how weak you were, so you should have been training for the upcoming battle and not wasting your time doing silly and frivolous things with the others. He’d hear you laughing and having a good time? Big mistake. There’s no time for levity, and he’d call you selfish for indulging in it.  

~As with the other post, just imagine everyone’s reaction to this. Some of them pushing you further towards Dimitri in the hopes you’d help remind him of his humanity (maybe it’s terrible but I see Gilbert being the biggest one to do this, considering how little he cares for anything outside of Dimitri) and then you’d have the others who’d be truly afraid for you. And Felix, angry that you’d enable Dimitri in such a way. 

~Then, Gronder Field hits and we get the best voice acting I’ve heard since Mariya Ise’s Killua (Chris Hackney’s performance is like 60% of my love for Dimitri tbh) and Dimitri’s change of heart. Because this is self insert and yandere, we’re just gonna say that it’s you who approaches him before he leaves for Enbarr because the whole emotional thing is the fabric on which his yandere tendencies are embroidered upon. 

~And then, after that, guilt. So much guilt. Even more than in the actual game which is really sad, but oh-so delicious because it creates a situation where he’d feel very fervently about atonement for his behavior towards you specifically. Whatever that means. 

~To sum up how I think Dimitri would feel in this Phase Three Yandere state, I’d point to his Goddess Tower line “The goddess just watches over us from above… That is all. Even playing as Byleth in-game that felt idolizing (honestly, a lot of this is already in-game text in his supports with Byleth, it’s really not that hard to read it as yandere), and Dimitri definitely has a record of putting people he feels strongly about on a pedestal.

~Dimitri would love you. Absolutely. That’d be a pre-existing thing he just never got around to realizing before the war because he’s emotionally clueless and afraid of feelings. However, he’d also see you as a symbol of sorts. Warmth, compassion, someone who, even at his very darkest, was looking out for him. A co-dependent emotional manager, to say it bluntly. Not just love, then, but adoration and need to an unhealthy degree. A worshiping sort of clingyness. 

~The whole fully formed yan relationship wouldn’t happen all at once after the revelation scene. Fighting the battle of becoming king and winning the war and trying to sort out all of the hundreds of fires he’d left unattended while also trying to mend his broken mind, I think Dimitri’s behavior towards you at first would be relatively innocent. Mostly, he’d just find comfort in having you near him and having you there for ~emotional guidance~. 

~Aaaaand we’re just gonna say that at this point you’d be far too emotionally involved and despite any feelings you may have had about his behavior, despite the severity of his feelings, you couldn’t find it within yourself to step back. But, if you tried, Dimitri would do just about anything to convince you to stay with him. Even if he hated himself for it, even if the guilt was overwhelming, the idea of being without you, the idea of you leaving him and his protection, would be even worse. 

~To this end, I can see him not forcing a romantic/physical relationship. That’d be something he’d want, but his need for you would far outweigh anything like that. To Dimitri, keeping you safe and sound and comfortable and as happy as possible would be the only way for him to make up for his behavior. So he could be overbearingly overprotective, incredibly intense, reverent on the side of uncomfortable, too selfish to let you go, but wouldn’t directly force you into anything.

~Of course he would sense that this was wrong, and feel a huge amount of guilt over it and the possibility that you could be happier elsewhere, but then rationalize that this was best. That he was the only one who could possibly ensure your safety and happiness, that could care about you enough to see it through.

~If you did agree to marry Dimitri, all of these things would only get more intense, but I also think it would lessen a lot of his guilt. If you fully agreed to be his wife, that meant that you were choosing him to give you happiness and safety. Besides, holding you and knowing you were real, that you were his, would possibly be one of his greatest joys.

~The whole overprotective thing would be a huge issue, and arguing with him about it would be pointless because he would never concede to your demands for more autonomy, citing that the kingdom wasn’t exactly safe yet and you would have a target on your head as queen and all of the various yandere excuses to skirt around the fact that his fear of losing you would be absolutely debilitating to him. 

~There’d also be the occasional patch of jealousy, although Dimitri would never doubt or question you, but the intentions of others. 

~I think, sometimes, the pedestal he’d put you on would be pretty awful. Lonely, maybe? His adoration could get cloying, although it could also be wonderful. He’d make you feel well and truly loved, more than anything else in the world. 

~Summing it all up, Dimitri would need you. I think the extent to which he’d feel this way would be very ~~love sick~~, but in reality his behavior wouldn’t be way too extreme. It would only arise in little slip-ups, when his mania would get too intense and his passion would suffocate.

It was like the universe had been testing him for some reason and Eddie wasn’t sure how much more of it he could take. After finally getting together with his long term crush and best friend, Richie Tozier, Eddie was finally looking forward to spending the entire summer with his friends, and spending time with Richie as boyfriends. They even had a plan set out between them all, as well as all the things they were going to do over the course of the summer.

Then his mother had to go and announce that he was to spend the whole 10 weeks of his summer vacation with his aunt in Michigan. There was no arguments, Eddie was going and that was final. There was a part of him that hoped it was just a weird coincidence, but Eddie knew deep down that his mother must have known about him and Richie, and this was her master plan at keeping them apart for the summer.

Of course, Richie was pissed, as were the rest of the losers. Eddie’s departure put a dent in their summer plans, but Eddie assured them that things will be easier now, as they had an even number. He said all this with a huge smile, even though he was dying inside. His summer plans were screwed and he’d have to spend ten weeks doing old people things that were extremely boring.

His suspicions were proven to be correct the second he touched down in Michigan. His aunt was there to collect him, the spitting image of his mother and ushered him to the car. On their way to her house, she explained the numerous rules in place for his visit. He wasn’t to watch television after nine, phone calls home were only to last fifteen minutes and he was to be in bed by ten.

The ten weeks dragged by, and Eddie found himself wanting to go back to school. At least then he would get to see his friends and spend time with his boyfriend. He divided up his call time between his mother and Richie as well as the occasional call to the losers, but his mother always sounded bitter when he didn’t call her every day.

During his calls with Richie, he described all the fun they were having, at Eddie’s insistence. He described how they went swimming to the quarry, or went to see the new blockbuster movie at the Aladdin. Eddie felt his stomach churn with jealousy at each word Richie spoke, and he had to hide his tears from his aunt. If she found out he was crying, she might have blocked all calls to his friends all together.

“It’s not fair, Rich…I wish I was home with you. All our summer plans…” Eddie whispered one day, about five weeks into his visit. His aunt was out shopping so he got to spend a little more time on the phone to Richie.

“I know baby,” Richie breathed back down the line and all Eddie wanted to do was reach through the phone and grab him, holding on tight. “But you’ll be back the night before the Derry Fair, so we can still go together. We can still play all those rigged games and ride the Ferris Wheel.”

Eddie sighed, but nodded, even though Richie couldn’t see. The Derry Fair was his silver lining in all this mess. He would be home in time to experience it with his friends and that was what kept him going for the rest of the five weeks he remained with his aunt.

Finally, the day came for him to travel home and his aunt drove him to the airport, planting a huge sloppy kiss on his cheek and reminding him to let her know he arrived in Bangor safely. He nodded with a tense smile, edging further and further away from her until he couldn’t see her anymore. Scared that she would pull him back for another week, Eddie sprinted off towards security, breathing a sigh of relief when he was on the other side.

The flight back home went by quicker than Eddie expected, which was a good thing, and soon he was landing in Bangor and collecting his suitcase from the baggage claim. When he walked through into the arrivals lounge, his mother was waiting for him with her overprotective smile and Eddie deflated.

“Eddie-bear! You’re home!” She cooed, pulling him into a hug and planting a kiss on his forehead. She pulled back and held him out at arms length, clearly inspecting him for some reason or another. “You look pale, and tired. Do we need to make a visit to the emergency room?”

At the mention of the hospital, Eddie perked up and shook his head violently, “No ma, no need to go to the hospital! I’m not sick, I’m just fine. I’m sleepy from the long flight. A good night’s rest and I’ll be good as new.”

His mother pursed her lips, and Eddie could see the wheels in her head turning before she finally nodded and they headed out to the parked car. “Alright Eddie-bear, but maybe you should stay at home for a few days, I don’t want you getting sick before school starts.”

And there it was…the icing on the cake. His mother knew about the Derry Festival and she also knew that Eddie would want to go with his friends. Not wanting to miss out on the last chance of summer fun, Eddie put his foot down. “I’m going to the Derry Festival tomorrow with my friends Ma. I’ve missed them all summer and I’d like to have some fun with them before we go back to school.”

She clearly wasn’t happy with that, but there wasn’t a valid reason for her to keep him indoors, so she relented. “Fine, but you have to be home by eleven, after the firework display. Understood?”

Eddie nodded his head, exhaling in relief. He understood, and was perfectly fine with that.

The following afternoon, Eddie got himself dressed for the day before rushing out of his house to meet his friends, not giving his mother a chance to change her mind. He saw Ben first, who was waiting outside the Aladdin, looking at his phone and Eddie let out a scream of his name.

“Ben!” Ben turned around and his face broke into a wide smile.

“Eddie!” They met in the middle, hugging each other tightly and Eddie had to resist the urge not to cry. When they pulled away, Eddie told Ben all about his awful summer, until the other losers were spotted from over the hill. As much as Eddie would like to have said he spoke to all his friends first, he didn’t. The second his eyes landed on Richie, he was off like a rocket.

The second he was close enough, Eddie jumped into Richie’s arms, wrapping his arms and legs around him like an Octopus, not planning on letting go. “Oh my god, I’ve missed you!”

Richie chuckled into his neck, holding him close, clearly returning the passion of ‘not letting him go’. “I’ve missed you too Eds, so freaking much.”

A clear of a few throats caused them to break apart and Richie sat Eddie back down on his feet, lacing their fingers together instead. “Sorry guys…”

“You’re forgiven, but come on, I’d like to see the fair!” Bev grinned, taking Ben’s hand and walking ahead of the others. Eddie blinked…when did that happen? Richie seemed to sense his confusion and leaned down to whisper as they walked.

“Last week, during a game of truth or dare. Finally, right?” He laughed and Eddie chuckled along with him. When they reached the fair, it was already busy with families, teenagers and adults alike. All the losers went their separate ways then, making a promise to meet up for the fireworks at the end of the day.

Richie tugged on Eddie’s hand, leading him towards the stalls where they got some candy floss and attempted to win some prizes at darts and other games. It was almost like Eddie had never been away, how comfortable they were with each other, and soon they found themselves in the line for the Ferris Wheel.

Luckily, at that point there wasn’t much of a queue, so they were seated in no time and being sent up to the top. When it came to a stop, right at the peak of the wheel, Eddie looked around at all of Derry and for a second he thought it looked rather peaceful. He turned around to voice his thoughts to Richie but when he did, he realised that Richie was staring right at him.

“That’s not creepy at all,” Eddie teased and Richie nudged his side playfully. “Seriously though, do I have something on my face?”

Richie shook his head, and in a moment of softness, he reached a hand out to tuck some of Eddie’s hair behind his ear that his blown astray with the wind. “No…no you’re just…you’re beautiful and I’ve missed you.”

Now Eddie’s heart was hammering in his chest. He took in their situation and setting. It was almost considered romantic in every high school cliche movie. Eddie wasn’t a fan of them, not really, but right in that moment, with Richie staring at him, he wanted nothing more than for them to kiss.

“Kiss me?” Eddie voiced, his breathing a little light and he exhaled as Richie moved his hand to cup his cheek, bringing their lips together in what would be their second, but best, kiss so far. Richie’s lips tasted like the candy floss, sweet and strawberry and they were so damn soft that Eddie melted into the Ferris Wheel seat like goo.

So Eddie might have missed his summer with his friends and Richie. He might have not gotten to do all the things that he wanted to do, but as long as he never had to trade this moment up? He wasn’t going to complain.

( Candice Swanepoel, Cis  Female, She/Her. ) ♛ Isn’t that Audrea de Guinness? The twenty-nine year old Heiress and CEO of Guinness Empire and British aristocrat is unmistakable. She has a reputation for being intelligent and diplomatic, but also detached and extravagant. There’s a reason they call her the Duchess of the jet set, after all.

audrea was born and raised in england; her family is of the british nobility, one that is really close to the royal family but they are very casual about it. probably one of the most casual noble families out there.

audrea has two older sisters, the oldest one is audrey langham (nee de guinness), she is married to jericho langham, which makes him audrea’s brother-in-law. audrey is a chef and restaurateur and at the same time the head chef at the langham hotel restaurants. the second eldest sister is audra de guinness. she is an art curator at the guggenheim museum.

as you can see, none of her sisters wanted to become the heiress of the family business, and so everything was handed down to audrea. of course, her father is still the president of the board, but ultimately everything is going to be handed to her.

originally, she wasn’t supposed to assume to ceo position this early. but with everything that is happening between her and jericho, audrea needed a distraction and after her masters degree, that distraction was work, and that is how she gets here today.

she is probably one of the most hardworking woman you can know. at the same time she’s very genuine, intelligent, friendly, generous, and independent. but audrea has learned how to keep her emotions to herself and not letting how she truly feels show. she rarely trusts people when it comes to her emotions and her stories. sometimes she becomes way too independent; like she needed nobody and there were times when she pushes people away without even realizing she was doing it.

so i guess the elephant in the room is her secret, so we’ll talk more about that down below: tw: mentions of self-destructive behaviours, personality disorders, accident, and death, tread carefully!

audrea and her sisters had a great relationship. before all three permanently moved to new york, they still lived in the england family manor and they often travel back and forth from london to new york since they were kids.

usually they would stay at the family house, but it was the first time all three travelled to new york without their parents and so they thought they would try something new and stay at the langham hotel, which is owned by jericho.

audrea was only 21 then, and she was still young but she was always more mature than most girls her age. originally, things started casually between the three sisters and jericho. but audrey was already falling head over heels for jericho as soon as they met. meanwhile jericho was slowly but steadily falling in love with audrea.

jericho was often invited to the family events and even casual dinners and vice versa. jericho spent more time with audrea than with the other two de guinness sisters, and while jericho was already in love with her, audrea had just begun to fall in love with him.

audrey, on the other hand, was already admitting her love for jericho. originally, jericho wanted to reject audrey because obviously he didn’t love her. but that was the time he discovered that audrey has a personality disorder and a self-destructive behavior. when jericho first rejected her, she had a break down and was emotionally unstable and she self-destructed ––- almost harming herself in the process.

josephine de guinness, their mother, begged jericho to at least go on one date with audrey to prove they weren’t compatible. but then in the end audrey became more and more attached and jericho just had to rip the bandage off and told her he didn’t love her. but audrey’s state became worse than the previous break down. during this whole time, audrea was still in harvard university for her masters degree and that is why she missed out on a lot of what is happening.

in the end, it was josephine who convinced jericho that audrey was more his match than audrea and ultimately convinced jericho to marry audrey. the reasons were because audrea was way too young, she still has a career ahead of her, and she’s not ready for a relationship yet. but in all honesty, it was just because josephine was afraid something might happen to audrey and to stop all those episodes ––- the ones that came back ever since jericho entered their lives ––- was to just give audrey what she wanted.

around the same time audrea graduated, jericho proposed to audrey after multiple episodes of break downs. jericho proposed because he felt guilty. he felt guilty that it was because of him all these things are happening to audrey.

it broke his heart having to leave the one woman he actually loved, and it was as though everyone forgot that audrea had feelings too. because throughout the process they continue to worry about audrey’s well-being that they didn’t know how much heartbreak audrea had to endure before she got to where she is today.

note: audrey passed away two years ago in a car accident with jericho.

so yes, that is basically it. now, onto some wanted connections:

current rebound; he’s sweet and he loves her. she knows she has to love him too, because he’s such a great guy and she was incredibly lucky. there was no point in pining for someone who doesn’t want her when there is the perfect guy right in front of her.

an ex-boyfriend or two; obviously you don’t expect her to be single this whole time and wait for jericho. but because she was still in love with him all those pushing people away and not showing emotions thing is catching up to her. not that she wasn’t romantic and all that, she was, but the problem was that the ex-boyfriend could feel that audrea wasn’t truly being herself and she was way too independent sometimes that she doesn’t include him in things about her life, and it makes him feel as though he’s not needed.

a bestie / confidant; we know that it is rare for her to have this, but audrea has to have a confidant somehow or she would probably lose her mind. this is the person she spends a lot of time with. either to just go shopping or pour out her emotions to.

the brother she never has; the overprotective, somewhat clueless of her love life, annoying yet caring and loving, hilarious, male childhood best friend who is more like her brother than anything you know? she can really depend on him.

close friends; she has close friends, but there are things she doesn’t reveal to them and simply just hangs out and have fun. although they tell each other stories, they aren’t exactly the first people audrea approaches if she needs to let her emotions out.

frenemies; we all got these types of connections so i guess it’s pretty self-explanatory.

enemies; could be from high school or even university or even just in their social life. anything could be the cause: jealousy, rivalry, or even just not being able to stand each other lol.

I wanna feel love: Part 8

The heavy downpour had stopped, it was only drizzling now but the continuous rumble of the thunders made it evident that this was only temporary. Freddie put on his coat and his square-heeled boots, blew a loving kiss to John who was still sleeping on the couch, took his umbrella and minced down the street as if his tight, black, leather pants were a perfectly fitted catsuit, made especially for him.

"Like a cat that actually enjoys being wet.." he chuckled.

John had kept him in his arms all night long and he had felt safe and protected, after a long time. 'Is it possible..? Could John like..me? Could he be gay? He wouldn't stay there, all night if he didn't feel anything for me..would he? Why would he stay if he doesn't feel anything for me?' he asked himself again. He didn't know what to think.. 'John was there..with me. All night long.'

He had to do something.. 'My God! Did I get a crush on him already?' he wondered as he entered the first shop.

He had decided to go shopping, on the spur of the moment when he finished his bath. Some new, fancy clothes.. perhaps he could try and stimulate a long glance or a compliment from John.

He tried on several pairs of pants, before buying two of them, which both were skin tight but at different textiles and colors. He smiled contently at his image when he put on a pair of pants in a warm burgundy shade, velvet one and decided to buy it, at once. His smile grew bigger when he thought of John's look seeing him wear them. The second pair was made of black latex. "Is it too provocative? too slutty, dear?" Freddie asked a woman who was staring at him, but he needn't really care for her answer. He saw how gorgeously they brought out the athletic shape of his body so, naturally, he bought them.

He peacocked in front of the full-length mirrors to give a full view of his body to all customers, wearing each one of them just like a peacock that funs out its magnificent feathers when more people are around and he even made a small bow to thank the people for watching his special performance.

He still had to find out if John liked him not just as a very good friend but liked him- liked him...and he prayed his instinct was correct.

'Why did he get aroused if he isn't into me? ...into men?' he kept asking himself. 'Do I have to show him that I'm gay? Of course, I have to... somehow...show him. Or better, I have to tell him.' 'I also have to learn more about his relationship with Veronica... how are they getting along with each other?' 'Besides, why didn't he go to her place last night and stayed with me?' '..and...' he paused to swallow 'Why did he tell all those beautiful, amazing and sooo poetic words to me... if he doesn't feel anything for me? You don't speak like that to a friend... I couldn't imagine Bri or Rog talk to me, the way John did..' 'I didn't even thank him...for them' he sighed.

When Freddie left the shop, it had started raining again. He, nonetheless, chose to walk to the small Asian restaurant instead of getting a taxi. He had, recently, found out that walking in the rain was actually quite relaxing and invigorating to him -though he wouldn't dare leave his umbrella behind and ruin his hair-.

'Maybe I should come out to him after I ask him about his relationship and.. or before I ask?' he thought. 'Oh! maybe I'll ask Rog or Bri to ask him about Veronica.. after I come out to them, first.' 'What happens if he doesn't like me back and all this was a misunderstanding?' 'Maybe I have to come out to him and then... maybe he'll come out, too.'

Freddie shook his head.. too confused to keep his thoughts in order...

"I'll come out to him.." he sighed "and.. if he's gay.. I'll tell him that I like him. The real question is 'does he like me?' " he mumbled, as he slowed down his pace. A flicker of desire flashed across his face when he whispered again, "I like him... oh my God! Two days ago I wouldn't imagine of coming out.. and accept the fact that I like guys and now...I like him! now look at me!" he grinned. "A new me!" he laughed loud enough for an old man to hear and turn his head to stare at him. But Freddie didn't care... he put his umbrella down and clapped his hands twice to congratulate himself.

"Have a great day, dear!" he wished, heartily, giving a wide grin to the old man. He, then, picked up his umbrella and continued his walk.

He entered the restaurant and ordered a glass of water with some lemon. It was a 12:40 pm.

'It's amazing what a few drops of what we're longing for, can do to us... right Freddie? It only takes a moment of realization and everything can change so drastically..' his heart asked him.

But it wasn't just that... Freddie could now perceive John's interest, during the years they know each other. John always asked for Freddie's opinion, he was always considerate towards him and he always cared for Freddie's well-being. They never argued with each other except this one time when they had their first gig with John on board. Freddie had insisted on him wearing a "ridiculous outfit" as he had said and he refused to wear it. But in the end, John complied with Freddie's taste and... that was it. He never argued with Freddie again for any reason and he always supported him, even when he was being unreasonable, according to Brian.

Plus, he could now understand better why John was nervous when Freddie complimented his playing or his appearance or why he blushes when they sit next to each other and Freddie happens to touch his hand or his leg... "How could I be so blatantly stupid?" he groaned and took a sip from his drink... "How didn't I notice all that before?" he sighed in disbelief.

Of course, he could also remember the fact that John had never introduced them a girl as his girlfriend. Freddie had thought that he was too shy to ask a girl out... 'he had numerous chances to date any girl but he preferred to spend his nights at home..' he thought. 'Until I decided to play fucking Cupid and introduce Veronica to him...' he sighed again.

"Stupid!" he cursed under his breath and looked at his watch. It was 01:35 pm and John hadn't come. He asked to pay his bill, eager to return home.

Freddie opened the door, as quietly as he could, not wanting to wake John up in case he was still sleeping. But, he was greeted by an empty couch and much more to his disappointment by an empty house. The fire was put out long ago and it was rather cold in there.

He went up straight to his room to put on the tightest of his new pants, the latex one, determined to keep flirting with John. He paired them with a red t-shirt with a deep v-neck, sprayed himself with his cologne and got down to the sitting room. He took a beer from the fridge and sat on the couch to wait for him.

He was bored to death, he never really liked it when he was alone. He loved having friends around, laughing, discussing or playing games. He missed Roger and Brian as he couldn't stand being in an empty room. He turned on the radio and called some friends he hadn't seen or spoken to for a while. Then, he tried twice to put on the fire in the fireplace before a tiny flame appears and make him feel quite proud of his achievement. He took another beer and he decided to take another shower.

"John!" he exclaimed and sprang from his seat as soon as he heard the door open. "I've been worried for you, dear! Where have you been all-" he froze in his place when he saw Veronica about to enter the sitting room followed by a very happy John.

"Freddie, you seriously have to stop being so overprotective of my boyfriend!" Veronica laughed.

"I-I'm sorry... I didn't know you would meet Veronica" he mumbled and ducked his head out of embarrassment. "Of course, how silly of me..." he ended, giving a shy side smile. He felt his heart sink, by seeing them together. 'They were together... they spent the day together' Freddie thought and suddenly he felt his mood change.

"How are you? John told me you had a fever yesterday." she said as she took off her coat and passed it to John.

"I'm good now... Thanks." Freddie answered "John was kind enough to stay with me and help me" he said, smiling faintly at John, who was standing behind her.

"He is an angel, isn't he?" she smiled widely and turned to look at John.

Freddie nodded slightly, watching Veronica as she took John's hand in hers. A pang of jealousy spread inside him when he saw her kissing him tenderly on his lips. 'Is it worth trying to test John? Would any good come out of it?'  he wondered and wrinkled his nose. His eyes flicked from Veronica to John and back again. They were holding hands now as she was saying something that Freddie couldn't hear.

"...we had lunch together and then Johnny insisted on taking me for a walk around the city because it would be romantic... you know, with the rain and all" she said turning to Freddie again.

Freddie suddenly realized he has held his gaze too long on them "Oh! You had lunch together..." he repeated absent mindedly, scratching his forehead as he lowered his head once more.

"Yes! John called me this morning and he wanted to make up for standing me up yesterday so, we met soon after." Veronica said with a huge grin on her face as she took a seat on the couch, pulling John from his hand to sit next to her.

Freddie stepped away from the couch. He stood beside the fireplace, grabbing a magazine from a nearby shelf. He started flipping through the pages without actually paying attention to their content or listening to Veronica.

He had to try and hide his disappointment... This wasn't what he had imagined. 'Was I wrong?' he wondered again. 'Was everything a misunderstanding?' his lips were pressed together in a firm line as his mind kept asking the same questions over and over again.

"Freddie?" John's voice made him blink.

"Yes..." he muttered.

"Where are you?" John asked and looked up to him. "are you alright?"

"I... I was thinking of ... something" Freddie said, throwing the mag on the floor. He lit up a cigarette and grabbed his beer from the coffee table. He emptied the bottle and rushed to the kitchen, returning with another one in his hand. "It took me half an hour to put on the fucking fire... and now I'm burning..." he said all of a sudden, tossing his hair. He felt the latex pants stuck on his body. He was sweating and he was jealous. 'Will anything go according to my fucking plan?' he thought and sighed. He glanced at John who was sitting there looking at him without saying anything. "Veronica, dear" he breathed in "what were you saying?

"Umm.. I was just saying that we didn't realise that the time passed so quickly... we...we had a very nice time.." Veronica said with eyes gleaming of satisfaction having John smiling at her.

"How nice..." Freddie mumbled with his cheeks sucked in as he started making some air with the magazine, on his face.

"Freddie, do you want me to open the window?" John asked, turning his head and staring at Freddie.

"Yeah.. thank you" Freddie looked at him and smiled shyly, happy to see that John's attention wasn't turned one hundred percent to Veronica. He needed to know that he wasn't invisible to John.

"So, how did you spend your day?" he asked and stood next to him.

"I went... for a walk too."

"Just for a walk?" John chuckled and raised his eyebrows.

Freddie licked his lips nervously "Yeah! I didn't meet anyone." he assured him and shook his head, anxious to see if John had believed him.

"Ok..." John laughed and turned to close the window. Freddie didn't understand if John believed him or not.

"Why don't you call Mary to join us? We can have dinner together and... since John asked me to spend the night here, you won't be alone, Freddie." Veronica asked.

Before either of them got to answer, she had gotten up and pulled John in for a passionate kiss. She pinned him against the window and planted her lips on his.

Freddie's eyes widened as he was caught off guard. He suddenly felt like he was gonna blew up. How was it possible to be so jealous of Veronica from one day to another? His feet froze on the ground and he felt his stomach turn into a knot. 'Oh God, I'm in love with John!' he realized and blinked his eyes. And John was with someone else. His breath stuck in his throat and his lips went dry. He fixed his stare on John who seemed to be taken by surprise, too, by Veronica's action.

And then John did something that left Freddie quite speechless. He slightly, turned his body so he could have Freddie right across him, opened his eyes and took a full view of him, from head to toes, while Veronica was clenching her lips on his.

He saw John pause his stare on his tight pants, for a moment and then let them wander on his perfectly-shaped body. Freddie parted his lips to breath. A naughty smirk appeared on his face as he tilted his head slightly up.

The look John gave him was enough to raise Freddie's hopes again. The longing look on John's eyes seemed so familiar to Freddie -he could remember all those times when John looked at him with such eyes- and yet it felt so new and fresh and stimulating at the same time...

"Did I provoke that ?"  Freddie's eyes beamed "it feels so good..." He took a step back and leaned his body on the side of the armchair, without drawing his eyes from John's.

"Hey...ok" he heard him babble against Veronica's mouth, trying to escape from her grasp. When he finally did so, he took a step to the side.

"Um yeah.. sorry Freddie" she said out of breath and turned to face him. "I guess...I got carried away"

"Hm? No no. It's...fine, dear." Freddie mumbled and cast a glance at John as his face flushed red. His eyes were gleaming. 'I can still test him' he thought. 'I can.'

John cleared his throat, "I was thinking of making pasta with Mexican sauce, Freddie, would you like to join us?"

"Sure..." he shrugged his shoulders, "I'm starving!"

"Have you eaten anything for lunch?"

"Um..." I only had a couple of beers or maybe more.." he said and started giggling. "I guess I forgot-"

"You should take more care of yourself, besides you didn't need to go out today..." John said but he didn't mean it as a rebuke.

"I-I had to" Freddie said quietly, as he looked down letting his hair cover the sly smirk that appeared on his face. He was enjoying John's attention. He had missed it, actually. Yesterday, he had tasted a piece of it and now he was craving for more.

"Aren't you a sweetheart?" Veronica interrupted again, pinching John's cheeks with his fingers. "You are so protective with him!" she laughed. "You should've listened to him, Freddie, he kept talking about you all day!" she said again and kissed his cheek. "Freddie this, Freddie that..."

"Vera!" John laughed shyly as he glanced at Freddie. The singer glanced back at the same time, pressing his lips together as he tried to hide his grin. "Anyway..." he said, "let's make dinner".

Freddie sat comfortably on the armchair, pleased with what he had heard from Veronica. John was talking about him when he was with her. Plus, he eyed him that way. "Nice to know"  he chuckled.

"John! I haven't cleaned the kitchen" he called.

John laughed. "Yes I can see that!" he called back, "You can do it now!"

"Oh well... ok" he sighed, looking at Veronica. "Would you care to help me, then? we'll finish earlier together... or it'll take me a year!" he said, and got up and strutting to the kitchen. He stood at the door and glanced back at Veronica, "why don't you watch some t.v. dear? we'll be over soon" and with that, he closed the door behind him.

He leaned his back on the fridge, looking around. He could still, test John. There was hope. John was standing near the sink holding out the apron for him.

"So," Freddie began tilting his head slightly to the right and looking at John through heavy leaded lashes. His heart was biting fast and he was feeling a bit dizzy due to the beers he had drunk "you had a nice day,  as I heard" he said and hiccuped, "and Veronica is staying here tonight."

"Um yeah, it was good" John mumbled and turned to the sink. He wore the apron without thinking about it and started to do the dishes.

Freddie smiled widely and walked slowly to John. He sat on the counter, crossing his legs and looking at John with a smirk on his face. 'he didn't answer the second part...' he thought. He imagined himself pin John against the counter and licked his lips sensually. "And... how are things between you two, dear?" he asked, flashing him a grin.

John turned his head to him. "We're good, we're fine" he said sternly and turned his head again.

Freddie suppressed a smile and decided to push a little further. "She looks infatuated with you, I can tell. But what about you? are you in love with her?" he asked, letting another hiccup.

"Freddie are you drunk?" John asked back and dried his hands with a towel. "How many beers have you had?"

Freddie giggled. "Not many" he said, throwing his head back as he let a deep sigh.

"Is everything ok?" John asked when he saw Freddie stare at the floor, looking a bit sullen himself, all of a sudden. He could sense that something was bothering him and he didn't like it.

Freddie dismissed his question with a wave of his hand and got up from his position. He stretched his body, pulling his t-shirt a little up to rub his stomach with his right hand. "I'm starving!" he said and opened his eyes to see John staring at his hand touching his body.

John averted his eyes from Freddie and took a step back, biting his lip.

"Perhaps you want to go back to your girlfriend until I clean the floor?" Freddie said with a side smirk.

"Um no it's fine."

"Then perhaps you want a beer?"

"Yeah, why not?"

He took two beers from the fridge and opened them sitting on the counter again.

John started swiping the floor.

"Quite a mess down here" he joked and heard Freddie giggle again.

"Imagine what would happen if I tried to make pasta..." he laughed. Oh! There's one over there."  Freddie pointed with his finger somewhere on the floor.

"Where?"

Freddie got up and walked to the opposite corner. He bent forward, pushing his chubby butt up with grace and picked up a forgotten kernel. "Here!" he smiled at John. You missed this one." He placed the kernel on John's hand with a naughty smile.

John looked him up from head to toes again, lustfully just like some minutes ago. "Why did you leave without waking me up?" he asked without knowing why.

"Why didn't you join me?" Freddie asked back as if he hadn't heard of John's question.

He moved a step closer and stopped right in front of John, tilting his head slightly back keeping his lips partly open. He felt John tense up but he didn't move from his position. 'Kiss me...' Freddie wished and let his hand brush on John's hand, for an instance.

They stayed there, in silence, feeling the tension between them as they stared at each other, breathing heavily. John's mind searched for an hint at what Freddie meant with his question but he couldn't understand and having Freddie so close to him, made his mind stop working. He had to swallow hard when he felt Freddie's hand touching his own and he was afraid that if he stayed there, some inches away from him, Freddie would sense his uneasiness. He also had to fight his growing erection. 'Sweet Lord' John mumbled under his breath. Yet John didn't move back.

He stayed there, breathing hard, until "Veronica is waiting for you..." Freddie said suddenly, with a sly look and took a small step back.

John blinked his eyes and scratched the back of his head nervously. "Yeah.. I'll be there a minute." he said "The dinner will be ready shortly."

Freddie walked slowly to the door.

"Where did you go this morning?" John asked and grabbed Freddie's hand to stop him.

"I...I had some shopping to do" Freddie looked back and smiled.

"Oh yeah? What for?" John asked again and Freddie's smile turned into a grin when John fixed his eyes at the lower part of his body.

'So...he did notice...' Freddie thought. "Well..." he licked his lips and left the room, leaving John staring.

Green eye monster and sleepless nights (Only Chapter).

It's been a bit more than a year since Sakura and I got married, in a few weeks it was going to be the first birthday of our sons. I still can't believe how much they had grown in such a little time, not to mention what an incredible big sister Yurika has been acting as. Sakura and I became an unbeatable team, no one could get between us or go against us- we were real partners. But there was still something... off.

I knew that my wife was keeping something very important from me, a big secret. It all began during one of her nightmares- she has a lot of them from war- she kept of mumbling things under her breath and tossing around her bed. I ended up waking up because of it and was trying to wake her up, when I realized what she was saying. She kept on repeating the name of my little brother's messenger over and over again, while asking him not to leave her. It kind of broke my heart, thinking that she wanted someone else over me.

It all got worse when I began noticing how much they've been disappearing together lately, and how insistent she was that Ethan and Aiden spent time with their 'uncle' Obi. It made me question if they were really my children and if Sakura had had an affair. However, I knew that Sakura would never do that to me and that she really loved me. Also, it was crystal clear that those two were my sons. Those thoughts were only creations from my jealousy.

But still that didn't take away the fact that those two were keeping something big from me, and I was going to demand to know what it was. With that thought in my mind I headed towards our room, determined to not take no for an answer.

"Love, what are you doing here so early? I thought you had a meeting with Lord Haruka" Sakura commented as soon as I entered our chamber, kissing me afterwards "Did something happen?"

"No, I just had to cancel with him... something else came up" I replied, taking of my cape and crown- this conversation wasn't between king and queen, but husband and wife "We need to talk, Sakura" those words made her smile vanish and a serious expression to take over her face, I hated that but it had to be done or else my jealousy thoughts would drive me crazy "What is going on between you and Zen's messenger? I know you are hiding something from me and I have the right to know what it is" I demanded firmly.

"I can't get away with anything with you, can I?" she sighed, with a soft smile "Let's sit, this will take some time" I was surprised by how willing she was to cooperate, but it also showed how much she valued our marriage "You've met my mother, you know she can be... a little too much sometimes"

"A little?" I questioned her, with a raised eyebrow and a teasing smirk- which caused her to laugh, soon followed by me.

"A lot, she can be a lot for a man to handle. She had her fair share of affairs, but none of them ended up in the pregnancy of a bastard. My dad, on the other hand, didn't have an affair... he fell in love. Out of jealousy, my mother sent my father's lover to be killed. However, the assassin wasn't able to complete the job... at least, not completely. He let the baby she was carrying live and returned him to me father, that's how Obi- my older brother for a few months- was born" I was shocked by her admission.

"Why... why didn't you tell me before?" I had to ask, hurt that she didn't trust me enough to tell me.

"You see, my dad never told anyone about Obi being his- my mother would have killed him as well. So, he kept him close and safe for a long while. However, that didn't stop us from becoming fast friends, Obi was being trained to be my guard and future right hand. The day the war broke everything changed, we were being suffocated by how overprotective my dad was being- I couldn't even go to the bathroom without someone following me! At the beginning we thought it was only me, but one day when we sneaked out for a little while, we returned to my dad going insane- demanding the guards to find his children! That's when we found out the truth about Obi's origin... soon afterwards, my mother sent for him to be killed. That's the principal reason why we ran away from the castle and entered the war, I had to get back because I had my responsibilities as a princess... Obi, he died as a great hero of Japan. He has his own sculpture and everything, my mom was raging with fury but couldn't say anything" she sighed, and looked at me- apologizing with her eyes "I've been keeping this secret for so long that... I kind of became a habit. I never really thought about telling you, it was natural not to tell anyone about it- being 'dead' is all that's keeping Obi alive, as ironic as it is. Sorry Iz, I never meant to hurt you by not telling you" she apologized, wrapping her arms around my neck to pull me down for a heated kiss.

"That's why you are so insistent with our sons spending time with Obi" I commented, once we broke apart to catch our breath.

"It's that he has lost so much time with Yurika, that I don't want to happen the same with Ethan and Aiden" she replied.

"What about the sneaking you both have been doing?" I continued with my interrogation, I was so lucky that Sakura didn't take it the wrong way and was happy to answer all my questions.

"That's... for us to keep. At least, for now. You'll find out soon enough, anyways" she told me, with a secretive smile on her face "For now... let's enjoy that you got back from work early" she told me seductively, before guiding me to our bed- things didn't end up going south after all.

-A few months later-

"So you've been playing matchmaker these last months?" I asked her, chuckling at how idiotic I was being.

We were dancing at our sons' first birthday party as we watched the new happy couples enjoy their first time out together. Mitsuhide and Kiki were a couple I've been waiting to form for a while, the sexual tension between them could have cut someone in half- by how intense it was. Shirayuki and my brother, those I knew that were together, but that the announce of their engagement- that was a big surprise!

"This castle just had so many potential couples, waiting just to take the next step, that I couldn't help myself. I just had to bring them together, that way they would be happy much earlier than if we would have let them on their own" she answered.

"What about Lord Haruka and Haki?" I teased her with a knowing look.

"They have a great potential to make each other very happy!" she replied, blushing by my unsaid accusation. I raised an eyebrow, smile widening, not saying a word but still enough to get her nervous "Ok! Jealousy might have driven me to make sure that your ex-fiancé was had her eyes on another man, but they are very good together. Not even you can question that!"

"I wouldn't do that to my own personal Cupid" I replied, bringing her closer for a small kiss- socially accepted, but still romantically enough to tease my fierce wife "I'm just happy that our children are having a good time"

"I hope they'll still be when I tell them that they are having a little brother or sister" she commented, a big smile on her face and her hands on her belly.

Things are really looking up for us.
