IMO, S4E5 “The Letterkenny Leave” has the first scene that really shows off how well Stewart and Roald work as a duo. Devon and Gae had both left the group after seasons 2 and 3 respectively, and while the skids had some great scenes in the previous episodes of this season, those scenes were mostly being dominated by Glen whereas here the hockey players serve more to set up the dialogue for the skids. Like this scene is just part of the B plot for the episode and there’s not really any story development here, but in retrospect this is one of my favorite skids scenes for how much craft they brought to the table.

And not to discount Connor and Darien in this scene, either. Them spitting pill bottles into Roald’s outstretched hands is just brilliant. This group of methheads is a well-oiled machine

I don't have a DNI and I don't vet blogs I reblog from at all. I don't even do an ideological purity test on blogs I follow. When I post or reblog something onto my Tumblr, however, I do attempt to filter out the following:

Obvious OCD triggers. I can't catch em all, but I'm at least not going to repost "reblog or you're a bad person" stuff

Political despair

Racism, antisemitism, TERF and radfem stuff, transphobia, erasure, sus call-out posts (that's most of them), etc

Things I think are interesting include various fandoms, nature pics, cats, animals being cute or cool, marine life (OCTOPUSES! WHALES!), space, mental health, neurodivergence and neurodiversity, psychology in general, childhood and child development, parenting, children's rights.

I have OCD and am very interested in how to live well with it.

I don't have an autism diagnosis, but I have found that about 80% of what LSN autistics say about their experiences and effective life hacks applies to me, so ... I am EMBRACING the ambiguity, which I love SO MUCH (sarcasm).

My age is greater than thirty.

I don't give away money on Tumblr. This is a hard line. Doesn't mean I don't believe you, don't think you deserve help, or don't think you should be asking for it. Does mean that asking me here is a waste of your time.

I don't engage while too angry to think. I also have a busy life. These are two possible reasons I'm not replying. Second is more likely.

I am currently trying to learn about narcissism and NPD for several reasons. One being that, once I started researching it on Tumblr, I found I had some of the symptoms. The other being that I've experienced abuse from a friend who almost definitely should have been diagnosed with NPD. The third being that I just think psychology is interesting.

I may currently be following your blog because of this interest, and if so I'm putting in a warning that the next part is me processing difficult stuff and talking about "narcissistic abuse". (And while I hope you won't block me, I understand if you do. I will absolutely take it personally, lol, but I won't, like, have an online fit about it)

Being a condescending asshole about abuse victims may get you blocked. This includes abuse victims who describe their experience as "narcissistic abuse." Yes, the "narcissistic abuse" survivors community is ableist AF. It's also what got me out of a soul destroying, physically dangerous situation. Sometimes things are complicated. Abuse victims, other than a weird mostly non-existent subclass of perfect innocent ideal victims who responded exactly right, are also a huge target of social prejudice. If you don't understand this, and the way it contributes to things like toxicity in the "narcissistic abuse" community, maybe just... don't be rude about abuse survivors?

That said, if you're describing your own experiences as "narcissistic abuse," I'd encourage you, once you are out of survival mode, to consider moving away from the term, for a whole bunch of reasons.

○    rp pet peeves / dealbreakers: Metagaming. I can’t stand it when someone writes knowing information about my character they wouldn’t logically know in game. It takes away from the fun of realism and being sneaky. I like the challenge of mind games in rp.

○    fluff, angst, or smut: Angst is definitely the best ‘IN’ rp. I like the rp that rips out the feels. I also like action scenes which wasn’t a choice but oh well. lol

○    plots or memes: I like a mixture. I like having a set up, but then letting things go from there. It’s very hard for me to plot out exactly what we want to go down, because I don’t know how my character will react until he’s reacting to said situation and that can depend on many factors - what is said, done in that moment. I think that’s what makes rp so great, though. It’s reactive over just writing your own book.

○    long or short replies: I like both, but I do tend to write mostly para. I do not require that from my partners, though. I just want to have fun, and occasionally I’m lazy and like shorter things, too.

○    best time to write: Usually night/evening

○    are you like your muse(s): Somewhat but also not at all. Dev is very outgoing, and a partier kid who smokes and does drugs, etc. I am a super introvert who has social anxiety and has never even smoked a cigarette in my life nor has ever even tried pot. Dev has no filter, I hoard my real feelings unless I’m comfortable with you, then I’m like a faucet who won’t stop xp. I think at least in Dev’s main verse, he tries to be a good person, though, and that feels like me. That motivation is me, and I’m very protective and will stand up for people I love like he does. I tend to be very emotionally driven and so is he.

so I was goin through your posts (for mostly innocent reasons, prommy!) and i saw one where you said that running a blog was hard after the purge, and... do you think we just got used to the now, or that tumblr culture did change and it was too subtle for me to notice..?

Aside from the obvious ‘lmao there’s nothing innocent at all about my blog’, this is actually a super interesting topic Anon. If you have been on Tumblr for that long then I’m honestly surprised that you haven’t really noticed any changes. I know I’m a nsfw creator, but still I find that crazy lol. 

Tumblr is super different now than how it was before the purge. The easiest way to explain it I guess is that everyone was on Tumblr. Nsfw and sfw artists, writers, screenshot takers, basically  all of the fandom creators were on Tumblr. Nowadays most nsfw artists are on twitter, but because Twitter is terrible for writers, there’s not really one main place for fandom anymore. Most people moved to Twitter so they could look at art, and use Tumblr much less than before, so any writers or other creators that stayed here don’t get nearly as much traction as they used to. I’m sure you’ve seen all the posts complaining about no one liking or reblogging posts, it wasn’t perfect before the purge, but it was certainly much better.

The FFXV fandom in particular completely died after the purge. So much good art was deleted and so many people were so pissed off that they abandoned ship completely, some not even moving over to Twitter or anything, all of that stuff was just gone. Fandoms that have sprung up after the purge (like DMC as an example), or fandoms that the filter doesn’t affect as much (There’s still a bunch of Mass Effect alien smut for example)  have managed to do decent-ish, but really haven’t had the sort of traction that they would have done before. 

It’s unfortunate because the Tumblr purge should have been the catalyst for someone to try and make a new social media site, like when the Ao3 sprung up after all the fanfic site purges, but unfortunately this hasn’t happened. There’s no one place for fandom anymore. 

Writers are so lucky that we have the Ao3, so at least we can confidently know that all of our work is safe. Artists don’t really have that though. If Tumblr can go ahead and just delete all of your art, then there’s no reason that Twitter, or DA or any other site won’t just go ahead and do it too. There were a lot of people that figured it wasn’t worth their time to repost stuff on another platform, or spend the time building up a following again, and I don’t blame them for it.  

Tumblr has somehow managed to build itself back up a little bit after the purge, and that surprises me a lot, but I don’t think it will ever get back to how it was before. Additionally, with Tumblr also banning all of those ‘nsfw’ tags on iOS (which sure you can blame Apple, but there are ways that Tumblr can fit within those rules without having to be so drastic.) The site has really shown all of us nsfw creators that we’re not welcome here anymore, but for now there’s nothing better so here I am lol.

Hey I was the anon who asked for your ao3, totally fine that you don’t want to share your username so I will gladly accept any tips on how to navigate ao3 🥺🥺 bc I try navigating by just using the guys name or the group name and yeah most of the fics that appear aren’t really my style. ao3 it’s a really overwhelming space 😔 so please help this dumb girl

🌷 hello, AO3 anon! It’s not that I don’t want to share, I just feel like it’s going to overwhelm others (with my 1K bookmarked fics). I am not an expert on AO3 and I’m trying to recall how I navigated through it. Though to be honest, I don’t recall much. I just remember visiting ao3 years ago to check yoonia’s Carousel fic and some other fics I got from those twitter fic recs threads. I sort of took note of the fics separately (like a note app where I list down fics I was monitoring) but AO3 actually has this feature and it should be easy breezy once you get the hang of it! 

I tried to make it as understandable as possible. Please see below the cut

🌷 So there are ways to navigate through fics: 

1) through the filters per fandoms, per member - this is usually the sidebar portion if on desktop

2) through the tags themselves - just click on any tags you like 

3) by subscribing to the author or fic

First, do you need to create an account?

It depends on you. Personally, I tried both. Not having an account, you can still comment but it’s kind of hard for me to keep track of my favorites or fics I’ve already read. Plus if you have an account, you can subscribe to fics or to authors so you get notified every time there is an update. You can also bookmark fics you like or fics you want to read. All up to you how you want to use the bookmarking tool.

I use my secondary email, the one I use for random subscriptions to stuff like games, netflix, etc. I feel more comfortable using secondary or dummy email as I call it. 

1) NAVIGATING THROUGH filters per fandoms, per member

I screenshot below the sidebar which allows you to filter content. If you prefer reading FxM fics, then choose that. If you’re in the mood for member x member scenarios then choose MxM. 

Additionally, you can adjust settings too for what to exclude. In my example below, say I don’t feel like reading multi-member fics and I just want FLUFFY fics. I can also adjust in the “exclude” settings.

You can also sort them per recent post, per hits, or per comments. I personally mix this because I also like discovering new fics. So, daily or every other day, it’s set to “date posted” so I get to see new fics. Earlier I had an ask re: a fic on AO3 and that was something I was able to read right away and commented on upon its drop (because the filter settings allowed me to see it right away way before it got popular). 

The Hits or Kudos or Comments filter allows you to see which ones are already popular among readers and I guess initially you want to try this settings to help you get started. Not all of the choices will be according to your taste though. It doesn’t mean it’s popular that it’s going to be to your liking 

🌷TIP:

Once I figured out the filter settings I want (which was more of the recent fics, mostly FxM), I  saved or bookmarked the url. I just clicked on the link and it directs me right away to pre-made filter settings (then I’d get to see new fics for the day)

2) NAVIGATING through the tags themselves

So this is helpful when you’re in the mood for certain tropes or genres. Like there was a time I was  in the mood for roommate AUs and I just binge-read all the fics in the results

So, for example this particular fic has well-defined tags ( I am reading this fic by the way. It’s rockstar Jungkook lol). Example you want to just read “friends with benefits” fics, you can click the link and it will give you ALL FICS that are under the same tag

This will give you ALL RESULTS (screenshot below shows you all fics from various fandoms, AUs, etc).  Repeat after me: the SIDEBAR is your friend. You can filter the results further by choosing the settings you want. 

Same process as #1, use the filter and use the settings you need. You want FxM, filter it to BTS fandom only, maybe for relationships you’re in the mood for just Yoongi x Reader? 

Take note that sometimes you have to apply the settings first before you can set another filter. For example, I set it to FxM and then BTS fandom first then clicked SORT and FILTER. That’s the only time these relationship filters will show (it’s like funneling. Once you’re in the “BTS fandom filter”, it will show you the other filters available to that category.. So for relationships there will be Jungkook x Reader, Yoongi x Reader, and so on and so forth): 

I read all members so I don’t really filter it to any specific members. I really go by the summary of the fic and the tags if they look interesting to me at the moment. 

3) Last, NAVIGATING  by subscribing to the author or fic

So, I actually subscribed to a lot of authors but they are usually on TUMBLR too. I guess, I read more series on AO3 since it is easier to navigate? 

Plus there are authors whose fics are available on AO3 but not on Tumblr. koyamuses for example, has their old fics like River Run (sea serpent!yoongi) and Mangata (pirate!jungkook) on AO3 but I remember their more recent ones are housed on tumblr. Obiwrites, a reader’s favorite, actually started on tumblr but they decided to use ao3 as a sole platform. I think she reposted some of her olds fics (but not all, still waiting for hoseok’s fic depaysement and that yoongi cinderella fic 😭)

There are also authors who have pseuds on AO3 and they post different content. gukluvr, for example, has an ao3 and the fics are different from her tumblr fics.

The beauty of subscribing to an author (say you like their body of work), is you get to see updates as they come. You get an email notif that [ _____ posted  fic title ] - I highlighted those with tumblrs too. It’s easier because with tumblr you search for fics manually but here ao3 does the work for you and just send you the email.

Even if they don’t post anything new, it’s just fun to see all the authors you like in one place in case you want to binge read per author. You can access it through your AO3 profile (if you set up an account)

You can also subscribe to a series only (meaning you don’t feel like subscribing to the author yet). If you subscribe to the author, you get notifs on EVERY FIC they will post. So if the author posts for other fandoms like Harry Potter or Star Wars, then you’d get these notifs too. So, it’s upto you

This is me subscribing per fic/work: (though this is not updated, some of these fics are already completed and I should start “unsubscribing”)

per series (though take note some of these have been completed). I am also subscribed to the authors so it’s kind double but you only get one email notif, don’t worry. 

ONCE YOU GET USED TO the navigation, you can bookmark the fics you like or mark them for later. Some bookmark fics they want to read while others bookmark their favorites. 

In my case, I bookmark all fics I’ve read and categorize them under collections like favorites, etc (but you don’t have to do this; this is just my method to remember fics), I haven’t really updated my bookmarks/collections so 🤷‍♀️. But that’s okay, it’s my own organized chaos so I can easily navigate through it.

For fics I want to read or re-read, I just mark them for later which you can access on the HISTORY page. 

Best to try all these on desktop. Once you get used to it, you can just play around on mobile. Sometimes, I just wait for notifs from my subscribed accounts/series; I just read it right away and mark them on my email as done once I’ve read or bookmark on AO3.

Don’t forget to give kudos to writers you like the stories of! I love giving kudos and I comment sometimes =) 

Okay, whew! I can’t believe I just wrote down a pseudo tutorial on AO3 navigation 🤭. I really hope it’s an easy tutorial for you to go through. Otherwise, I don’t know how I can further explain it. You can use the search bar of AO3 too! Just type, say “friends with benefits” and it will give you all types of fics. But, I just used this so I can click on the FWB tag (see #2 process)

There are so many fun stories or fics on AO3 too! And there are writers you won’t see on tumblr. 

I wish you good luck on your AO3 journey. It might be overwhelming, but it’ll get easier once you get used to it 🌷🧚‍♀️🥰

I just wanted to touch upon something you wrote and that I agree with: before my break here I was able to read smut, including explicit smut. And ngl it was everywhere on my feed, if not every other post it was always there. But now after this break, i'm just not in the headspace anymore. Like like you mentioned with the dark content, there is more in the world than just orgasms or reaching the high even in relationships, and I felt bad even that i wasn't liking that stuff anymore and even now I am telling myself it's okay. I'm happy and actually proud of how I have grown and i try my best to filter out tags. This does not mean I hate people who write dark content and such, i don't. Rather It feels weird to not like smut or being surrounded by it cus I feel like the odd one out lol

BUT! I am getting there, I need to work up the courage to let those whom I follow not to tag me in those things cus, thankfully I am just not in the headspace anymore and I'm okay with that.

ON ANOTHER NOTE XD, i started watching The Crown again, cus when I first started only the first 2 seasons were out and not that my first college year is over I can BINGE! Also, i am going to be watching Haikyuu again cus that's my summer anime and it just hits different!!!

I'm good, love! Dealing with non-stop pesky reposters but que sera, sera. 😂 Another day that ends in -y. I got down one major one which was such a relief to me so that was joyful news to have. I hope you've been well, too. I'm proud of you for taking time for yourself and stepping away to nourish however you needed to.

Also that's a really powerful revelation to come to, and an even more powerful thing to state/stand in so good for you. I totally hear you regarding the fear of being ostracized because it can be really daunting when you're surrounded by non-stop smut and or dark content especially as a writer. You kind of wonder if something's wrong with you because you don't write those things or, in your case, like them or whatever, and I assure you--nothing is wrong with anyone who doesn't like that.

We all like different things at the end of the day and that's okay. One person's love for spitting in mouths is another person's love for hurt/comfort fics is another person's mermaid AU's is another person's (insert kink here) and ad infinitum, you know what I mean? But it's especially tough when it's all you're surrounded with, so I'm very happy for you for figuring out what YOU feel comfortable with. That's what matters at the end of the day.

(Another thing I'd like to add is dark content/smut smut smut has become really popular since a ton of Wattpad authors have shifted to tumblr seeing as DC/smutsmutsmut is especially popular over on that hellsite. I had this discussion with another author but I'm digressing from my point lol--this is just a mini observation).

My POINT is, it can be really hard to not do what the rest of the crowd is doing so I'm proud of you for coming to that realization and setting boundaries for what you want to see/read/write. You deserve that and people should respect it.

Also the Crown is nothing but a masterclass in writing a good, historical dramatic series so I'm glad you're watching, and more HQ--I know that's right! ❤️ Ily too. Thanks for sending this in and I'm glad your break did you well.

When do you usually do most of your writing?

I wake up very late because I have no self control and a really messed up sleeping schedule, so I do the writing from 1 pm onward, generally speaking. Then again, I have spent more than one day doing nothing but typing away on my keyboard for this account, so... Yeah. I'd like to say I do most of it during the daytime, but it depends: if a thread I like gets a reply at 2 am (which happens a lot because everyone seems to be living in the Americas?) you can bet I'll be typing a reply as soon as I get the notification (though I almost never post them right away, since I'm anxious about spelling, syntax and so on). It might be that I'm new to the scene and that I'm a situation in which I have little else to do, but I get really excited whenever I get a reply or an ask and will jump at the chance to start interacting with new people- which is sadly kind of hard because of how unpopular GX seems to be among the RPC. People have still been very nice to me and have been very open to testing out interactions, which I'm deeply grateful for. I am wagging my nonexistent tail of all of you, constantly. On a separate note, I do the fic writing after midnight. Always. And I hate it.

Pet peeves?

... Oof. Ok. I'll take my chance to say a bunch of things? Don't hate me for it, I don't mind any of these that much.

1) I kind of dislike writing in present tense, mostly because I find it unnatural, but I will when the other person does. I'm the opposite of picky- and it isn't necessarily a good thing.

2) Fancy formatting. It's one thing to use small text, that I don't mind one bit. But when fonts and random highlighted words are involved I get very confused? I know I use italics for emphasis and for things that are meant to be internal monologue that isn't narrated, but rather delivered by the muse himself- maybe that's annoying or distracting to someone? I bet someone out there has looked at a reply of mine and wanted to delete the post in my stead at some point.

3) Heavily edited icons. Again, icons or not, it technically doesn't make much of a difference. I personally have taken a liking to keeping my Manjoume icon folder open on my second screen- plus I'm Italian. Come on. Half my communication skills are non verbal I'm lying I suck at communicating in general. The edited icons, yes- a frame and coloured filter make icons look personal and I appreciate the work put into them, but when I can barely make out the expression I have to wonder what the point is. Aesthetics, I suppose, which is fine, of course.

4) Tumblr themes. Some themes don't allow for reblogs when you open posts on the op's blog. WHY. It's sort of annoying to have to fish for the post in order to reply to it.

5) Endless threads. Very few do this, but I think you should consider that people who are not involved in a given thread will have to scroll through it on their dashes before you reblog a thread without cropping it. That's all. I didn't know how to do it initially, but I asked and I was lucky enough to get an answer from a very kind person.

6) ... Grammar. Typos are fine and dandy. Sometimes they happen and you can't notice them because some words exist and thus are not highlighted by the spellchecker (which is on everyone's chrome, by the way). An example is 'fir' and 'for'. I can assure you there is no red squiggle under 'fir'. It's a tree, apparently. I had no clue. But yes, I am not from an English speaking country, so don't take this as like... a British dude coming up to you and bullying you because your English is bad. No. A misplaced comma is ok, I don't care. It becomes a problem when the sentences are hard to understand. That's it. (Note- if I write something that you think is an incomprehensible mess, tell me and I'll try my best to fix it.)

... I'm done. I am not angry at anyone who does any of these, believe me. Pet peeve number seven is a request. DM me for literally anything. If I do something wrong, tell me. I write a lot of extra tags to convey how I feel about what has been written and maybe it's unnecessary, but I do it so you can always know that I'm actively invested in the interaction. If I don't add tags it's solely because there is nothing to add. But if it's annoying, tell me and I'll stop immediately. That is all.

A bunch of other things, too: I have some Jojo prints in my cart on Etsy and I know I'll never get them (sad) and a bunch of videogames on Steam and the Nintendo e-shop (which I'll never buy or play- they look neat though). On Amazon I have the last few volumes of the DM manga and the GX series (Light and Darkness Dragon, my beloved). Also also any charm that has to do with Manjoume. I haven't found any I could buy, but I want 'em all. Literally break into my house if you find one. Ah! And the matching figures of Komaeda and Hinata from Danganronpa 2! (Big Danganronpa fan, bigger Komahina shipper- I've made a fucking animatic and I can't post it because the music is copyrighted ;) ) I also have a bunch of zines I'm waiting for- some I've bought and are about to be sent out and others have only posted interest checks. 2021 was the year in which I discovered that yes, I can commission people and buy zines and it doesn't need to a big event (except I'm not rich and need to be mindful with spending of course). ... I also really want the new Pokemon games. Like right now.

... If it turns out the question wasn't actually about like... material things, but rather what I want to do with my blog and muse in the future... Well, first of all pretend I said nothing. Second, I want to find an art style I can comfortably use to make more frequent illustrations for threads and asks. I was a big fan of ask blogs as a kid (I saw them through crust screenshots and reposts only, I didn't have a tumblr lol) and I always wanted to be that cool artist that makes cool art for a given cool character. Manjoume is the coolest of characters to me, so yeah.

Hello! This post is for all my lovely, and talented photoshopers and for my gif makers/fellow stranger things edit makers. Everyone knows how much goes into making an edit... its not just adding a filter psd. Theres more to it than that. Actually a lot! You have to crop every single picture to the exact height and width... get the lighting exactly right. Add the right psd.. mix other psds and actions to the edit to make look exactly right and perfect. In the end, the edit looks great and you post it. Sometimes you get a lot of notes on it, some times you don’t. If you are lucky, you do. I am fortunate enough to usually get a lot of notes. Which makes me happy because i work really hard on my editing. A lot goes into it. It’s so great to have a hobby and to put all my energy into these edits/content for my followers and fellow stranger things fans. But if you are a fellow editor you know that there’s those few people out there that take your edits and repost them. It sucks because so much goes into it. USUALLY you ask the person kindly take it down and they comply. Any nice person would understand and do that BUT then theres the bad people out there. People like @jariksolo1138 o1138 that have to get fuckin sassy and rude and not take that shit down. So heres the story... i saw this person post in the stranger things tag. It was a theory that honestly isnt even worth explaining... but basically said that the new stills for season 3 show the kids in some strange place we have never seen before when it is literally Mike’s basement. This person literally disabled the comments because everyone was like um wtf? how do you watch the stranger things and not know what mikes basement looks like? Anyways i saw that they posted MY EDITS along with this post... and i was like interesting... so i was like ya those are my edits... and this happened.

So i sent them the post where you can clearly see they took them from!!! And then they responded with this:

A Generational study of Misha's wackydoodle fanbase.

This was the first post I ever did, on my blog.  The post did very well, and that was because the hellers were reblogging and adding their own captions to the post, and other dumber hellers were leaving a like.  So essentially they were creating traffic for my post without realizing it.  Because their nasty fingerprints are all over this post, I want to repost an edited version with updated information and less typos.  I remembered this post because of this interesting comment.

Immediately, the Profound Bonds census came to mind.  I remember seeing a prominent amount of children.  And on one page, there was only one 37 year old.  I was surprised.  I wish I could use a screenshot of that page, but the hellers deleted the entire census.  I wonder why.  The above comment and the census, is the reason I am reposting an amended version of this.

Impassioned fans can be very annoying.  Like any fanatic, [in the words of Spike Milligan] they don't enjoy their favorite art.  They suffer from it.  However, most of the time, you find a way to chill with them, and you will be able to have a conversation about something or the other.  You might even share their enthusiasm, unless they start behaving creepily and nauseating you.  The hellers are the latter breed of freak.  They are the creepiest, most nauseating but most mobilized and active part of this fandom, because they have a hierarchy that operates their entire system.  There are influencers and drones.  Seeing an influencers will give you the impression that hellers are a group of grown women, however, that is not the case.  Only the influencer are older.  The drones are young.  Sometimes painfully young.

Understanding slash is one of the things that allowed me to understand why these people are so subservient towards Misha, and why they never question him.  There are other factors like his cult leader behavior, however, there is a particular group that he targets and he uses social media to do it.  Slash is almost a century old.  And each generation behaved in a specific way, regarding slash fiction.  The earlier generations were very covert.  It may have had something to do with modesty.  It may also have had something to do with “outsiders ruining our  fun”.  As far as Supernatural is concerned,  three generations of slash fans are represented. 

I am using the word generation here, from a marketing demographic perspectives, because this seems like the most sensible way to categorize slash fans.  Believe me, I am fully aware I am over simplifying this.  I am trying to write a short blog.  In no way, am I throwing shade at your generation.  I just like mine the most. lol!!!

There are three major generations in this fandom, that indulge in slash fiction:

Generation X:  These are slash fans born between 1965 and 1979.

Generation Y aka Millenials:  These are slash fans born between 1980 and 1994. 

Generation Z aka Centennials:  These are slash fans born after 1994. 

Generation X is that last generation of classic slashers.  This is a covert group that doesn’t like to share its artworks and works of fiction with outsiders.  If they remained underground and secret forever, they wouldn’t mind.  And if that mindset remained, nobody would even know that slash fiction exists.  As a member of this generation, I wish that things had stayed this way, but understand that society changes.  Its evitable.  Gen Xers usually don’t ship just one pair because it would seem a little foolhardy to pin all your slashy happiness on one pair that you put together.  There are plenty of pretty fish in the sea and we tend to mix 'n match.  There may be pairings we will like more than others, but generally speaking, we don't have issues with working through a cast like a buffet and enjoying different pairings. 

Younger generations of J2 fans were influenced by this generation's writings and therefore share the same opinions.  If there are any destiel shippers in this group, three suppositions are likely.  First, they are either, hidden away from social media and don't know about this death threat drama, and they don't have any frenzied love for destiel where it blinds them.  Misha is not influencing them via social media either.  They have a life and destiel is just their pass time.  Or, they are influencers who are older and therefore that sway the minds of younger people.  I theorize, however, that most of the destiel shippers in this generation deserted the ship and moved on.

The Y generation or millenial brought two changes to slash fiction.  From a western standpoint, this generation started to become inclusive and politically correct, making their work LGBT oriented rather than hetero/bi female oriented to the detriment of the artform.  The greatest irony is that mpreg [the last remnance of femininity] was born at the tail end of this generation.  My previous theory about this group was wrong.  I thought they were a quiet group.  But no.  All the Lua Jame's, Janelle's and Exorcising Emily's are coming this group.  This means that the influencers, the first users of social media in other words, are from this generation.  Perhaps, the normal non-criminal thinking, nice destiel shippers come from this generation too. 

Generation Z or centennials are the youngest generation, making them the least experienced, with the least filter.  They don’t think before they speak, but boy do they have a lot to say.  They tend to use social justice and politics to push the validity of their ship.  They are like junkies when it comes to their ship and Misha Collins is the only dealer they have.  They look for other dealers which is why they tend to ask all and sundry, what their opinion is with regard to destiel. 

They based their opinion of that person, on how that person responds to destiel.  Its like a pothead who only likes people who say that smoking pot is ok.  And if that person is indifferent to destiel, they will collectively attack that individual.  The only reason is because they are young.  Its only when I looked at their census, that I realized that many of them are as young as 13.  So most of them are children.  In Misha's heller army, these kids are the soldiers, bashing Jensen and Jared online and voting for Misha to win an award.  Lets hope their taste chances as they grow. 

Misha and his influencer, have convinced these people that what they feel is true, and because they are still young, they don't know any better.  Even a non heller might feel insulted by this analysis of an entire generation but believe me.  I am not critiquing you.  I am merely pointing out that your brain doesn't fully develop until you hit 40.  You are not a child, I concur.  But you are not a complete adult.  Get to my age, look back at life, and realize how many times circumstances forced you to change your opinion about various subjects.   I wager that about ten years from now, the hellers will look back at their behavior and cringe.  They don't know any better and the adults around them are not teaching them to do the right thing.

So Misha’s primary fanbase are a bunch of children, who are spread around the globe, and who don't affect of the ratings, have generally no money of their own so they cant buy seats for his panel or photo-ops or raise a decent amount for anything he is auctioning.  They couldn't attend Indycon so it flopped.  Not that he has that many fans to start with.  And they don’t recognize that Misha is trolling them with destiel, because they are too young to understand. 

Misha has the dumbest cult following ever, because he attached him to Jensen and Dean.  And Jensen doesn't even spend anytime with Misha outside of work.  So the shippy calling card Misha waves will catch fire in his hands.  He is also attracting children and they will grow up to eventually change their mind and taste in men.  The influencers are likely to stick with him, unless they get bored with the lack of Jensen and move on.  So consequently, Misha and his hellers wont benefit each other in the long run.

Okay, I had created my first tumble since I was a "potato" student on senior high school. The year was social media trend. Every friend on my school had a competion to have many social media and new smartest phone. One of the social media is tumblr. Like you aint be cool kids if you don't have tumblr even I don't know what's the function of havin a tumblr.

Okay. So, I surfed on browser and typed a keyword "Tumblr" in search bar's search engine. Cliking those link, Signing Up witb email, created an tumblr account and "Tara", there was my first tumblr.

Then, I was puzzled for my first posting on my tumblr :( . Okay, I decided to post my freaky selfie (Sorry, selfie issa not my talent. Kylie J teach me , please XD)

So, I was rather to choose be online on instagram, twitter and facebook than tumblr. "Tumblr is trash blog and useless" my fuddy-duddy though said like that

On September 2016, I opened tumblr and visit my profile. Change background w/ Kylie Jenner Photo and profile w/ my beautifull nephew. And then, deleting my old first post and change w/ introducing again hehe.

2 years later exactly 2018, Communication and Information Minister, Mr. Rudiantara had announced that Tumblr was blocked because the content was NSFW, violences content. Tumblr could be accessed by Indonesia Netizen if it would aggreed our minister, Mr.Rudiantara wants such as deleted NSFW content or Tumblr filterred content.

The news triggered netizen's opinion especially The Great Indonesia Netizen (Haha) because since they used a tumblr, they hadn't find anything's wrong or NSFW content. Be possitively, I guess Goverment wanted and ensured every netizen all ages can access safe internet and decrease negative impact of using internet. Thank you, Mr. Rudiantara

And then, on December 2018, the minister shared a good news that Tumblr can access for everyone(HORE!!!).

So, what happened next?

I deleted my first tumblr!!!

A/N: Hello everyone! I’ve got a few more old requests to finish and two of them are Eric Northman prompts! I haven’t been feeling really well due to the fact that life has handed me some shit especially regarding school. So, I haven’t been feeling like writing anything, especially smut so i think when i open my requests again I’ll only be taking angsty or fluffy prompts. Also I know the prompt was supposed to be based off of “From the dining table” by Harry Styles. But i felt the song “Moral of the story” fit so much better. I did however put something based off the song at the end.

Prompt: Hey I was listening to ‘from the dining table’ by Harry styles the other day and I was thinking could you maybe do eric Northman x reader where they’re going through a break up but they still love each other a lot ? So quite angsty but still romantic if that makes sense lol! It’s such a beautiful and melancholic song I’d really recommend it! If not dw, maybe just on the lyric ‘woke up the girl who looked just like you, I almost said your name’ or something like that?💜💜💜

It’s been four months since you walked out of Eric’s life for what he knew would be forever. He majorly fucked up this time, showed you the beast he truly was and this was the straw that broke the camel’s back. He could still hear you screaming in his head and he could still hear himself screaming back at you.

Eric cringed as he thought about what brought on this fight. You knew what he was; who he was. He was Eric fucking Northman, Viking vampire god. You knew he’d done terrible things, horrible atrocities he’d told you so himself but for some reason you still stayed with him; until now.

He’d been so gentle with you, even when he wasn’t. But there was still something inside of him that desperately wanted to unleash the beast within him. And he did, on a most willing Ivanka; a stripper who worked at Fangtasia. Ivanka was more than glad to take the brunt of his beastly desire. Little did Eric know that as he was pounding his frustrations into Ivanka, you had just come into the club and Pam had eagerly told you that he was “hashing things out” with an employee.

You had waited for Eric in his office for four hours before he had finally come out of the basement and Pam told him that you had been waiting for him. Before Eric could block your sight though, you saw a well fucked Ivanka covered in bite marks come out of the basement.

Eric would’ve drowned his eyes in bleach if it meant that he could get the image of your face falling at the moment you’d realized what he’d done. You pushed past Eric and he let you for the moment, you rushed through the crowd and Eric just watched you for the moment as you left through the front door before pursuing after you.

Before you even got in your car he was there, waiting for you a pleading look on his face.

“Y/N. Please let me explain.”

“What is there to explain Eric? I know exactly what I saw and despite what you think about us frail and stupid humans I know why you did it.” You spat at his stoic face. “You are a monster, and you’re incapable of letting yourself be happy so you let that beast inside you rule and tear everything happy in your life to shreds.”

Eric felt that same beast Y/N was talking about unfurl and hiss as she accused him. “You have no idea what’s in my nature. I’m a thousand years old, I’m not the type of person to play human boyfriend.”

“That’s the problem Eric!” You screamed at him and he watched and listened as your veins pulsed with anger and your cheeks reddened but not in the way he enjoyed so much. “You are a monster! And in those thousand years of life that’s all you’ll ever be! Us humans may be fragile things with the lifespan of a fruit fly compared to you, but we can grow and change. But you; you’ve been the same bloodthirsty brute for a thousand years! And you’ll never change.”

Eric felt himself internally flinch as he took in your blooming hatred for him, the curl of a snarl on your lip as you finished berating him. There was a part of him that wanted to grab you by the throat and push you against the car and force himself on you until you forgave him and another part of him had been cut at the knees by you and yearned to fall at your feet, begging for forgiveness.

“I’m almost glad that you did this sooner than later. I don’t want to waste what’s left of my insignificant life on a monster like you that’ll never grow despite having all that time to do so.”

Eric watched as you reached for the handle of your car door and before he could stop it, he felt his own hatred bubble out of his throat and past his lips. “You’re right. I am glad I did this, that you found me out. Because I don’t like I could spend another insufferable minute pretending to be something I’m not! I am a monster Y/N, I’m a bloody thirsty fucking beast you could tear your throat out if I so wished and I’m done trying to stop myself from doing exactly what I desire. And all I desire now is to be free from shackles from you and fight, fuck and kill my way through the rest of eternity.”

Your hatred was evident on your face, but Eric saw that trace of sadness, of betrayal as you climbed into the car. “Goodbye Eric.”

Two months after that Eric still had that part of his humanity turned off and drowned whatever feelings he had for you in blood and sex. The most willing blonde twins that Eric couldn’t care enough about to know their names were eager enough to help him do just that. But the same thing happened with them as it had with every other woman, he tried fucking his feelings of anger and sadness into.

The women beneath him would fade away and your face would replace them. Your familiar and beautiful face contorted into pleasure as he made love to you, your fingers running through his blonde hair pulling at him and bringing him closer to you. The body of the strangers would fade away and be replaced with yours underneath him, your warm skin sliding against his cool skin; letting him believe that he was truly alive like you were.

“Eric.” He heard you breathe under him and he knew you were close. He had gotten so good at reading your body, knowing it wants and needs and you did the same for him. Your nails clawed his back as he brought you to the edge, only to fall over the edge himself. You kissed his chest and neck as you both came down from your highs.

“I love you.” You whispered into his ear.

“Eric.” The girl Eric was fucking tonight waved her hand in front of his face, breaking the daydream and snapping Eric back into his harsh and sad reality. “Eric are you alright?”

“Get out.” Eric said softly the first time but when she didn’t immediately leave his presence his voice held more of a threat as he told her to leave the second time; sending the girl scurrying for her clothes with haste before abruptly leaving.

Eric fell back onto his bed, closing his eyes as he picked up the daydream where he left off, letting his hands slide into his basketball shorts and feeling how hard he was for you.

“I love you.” You whispered to him again and again and again as Eric pumped himself faster until he brought himself to release and the daydream changed into a nightmare.

“Why did you hurt me, Eric? Is this what you wanted? Were those women what you truly desired?”

“No. No, none of them were you. I want you; I’ve only ever wanted you, Y/N.” Eric said into the void, trying to explain his feelings to the ghost of you, but when he opened his eyes you were gone and he knew that you’d never be back.

THREE FACTS 1. okay so this one time my family and i went deep sea fishing just as a tropical storm was rolling in and now i have a fear of boats because i swear i thought i was gonna die 2. i was also afraid of escalators for years because as a young child (like 2 or 3) i had convinced myself that if you fell on a escalator it would EAT YOU and then i was at the mall and i fell on one and i had my first panic attack and i didn’t get on an escalator for years after that how fun 3. i used to play soccer as i young bean. i mean i played for almost ten years. and then my eds started presenting itself and i collapsed a lung and dislocated a few joints and had to quit and i just really fuckin miss it a lot. i loved soccer so much.

RP EXPERIENCE.

HOW LONG?  idk five years or so?? PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED:  i mean i’ve really only used tumblr and sometimes discord bc im too lazy for tumblr BEST EXPERIENCE: this indie has been so much fun, honestly. like the whole thing has been so good and i’ve met so many people. i don’t think anything specific comes to mind but i like being able to do whatever the hell i want and not limit myself like it always felt i was doing in groups.

FEMALE OR MALE:  female mostly. and then i have mark lol FLUFF, ANGST, or SMUT:  honestly i like writing both fluff and angst that depends on  but i just will not do smut. it makes me uncomfy so i pass like 99.9 percent of the time PLOTS or MEMES:  plotting is lovely but like memes are great ways to break the ice so i usually start there and if the muses feel the chemistry i’m like yo waddup LONG or SHORT REPLIES:  anytime BEST TIME TO WRITE:  late at night when ur kind of delerious from being awake all day bc honestly writing is the best when u don’t have a filter ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES:  yeah i mean i tend to write characters when i see at least some part of myself in them it helps with decision making and such because i can get in their heads but i don’t like to write characters that ARE me either. i want them to be their own people with their own feelings and thoughts and emotions
