Alright guys au idea here we go

Essentially an AU where all of the puppets are sentient. They know they’re being used for a kid’s show, and they’re ok with that. They like it, in fact!

Well... except Wally.

Wally feels like he’s being used. He’s a sentient puppet, yet his talents, they’re being wasted for a kid’s show. He keeps up the act for as long as he can. Pretending. Waiting. Watching.

But there’s only so much even a lil puppet like him can take.

He snaps. He kills. All of his friends, they all try to stop him, but they can’t. They can’t stop someone who’s so far gone that he thinks he’s doing a good deed by killing innocent people. They have to run, try to subdue him with no luck, or keep in hiding for weeks until...

Poppy finds something.

Deep in Wally’s room, she finds a book. A book of spells. She recognizes one of the spells as how Wally kills; focusing on someone and then blinking. She realizes it’s a consumption spell that Wally somehow made permanent on himself. At first she thinks she can reverse it, but she sees something else. A safety and restoration spell.

It’s their only chance. She brings it back to the others so they can figure out how to cast it. But when she does, they realize...

Wally’s noticed the book is gone. He’s stopping at nothing to get that book back. They have no clue how he got it or how he even knows without entering Home, but he knows. He’s coming. They have to cast the spell. And, moments before the doom in the form of their own friend can befall them, there’s a flash.

And then everything’s ok

Can we hear your thoughts on Leona! Yutu?

Since Leona died fighting the Phantom, Yutu obviously wouldn't have met him, and I'm wondering about your ideas between what Leona became after NRC, how the loss of Yuu affected him, Leona's death, and Yutu's opinion of him before and after meeting him. I had an errant idea of Leona having Died a Hero's Death and then when Yutu meets him it's like, "THIS is the guy my parent was willing to spend the rest of their life with???"

Anyway yeah. As a Leona Simp, I would much appreciate anything you write.

Does he like cats... you know I have always sort of seen Leona has having a petty rivalry with Grim because he thinks he should be the King Cat, so the image of Leona! Yutu lying in a field with a bunch of cats is sort of a perfect contrast. I like it: Leona! Yutu absolutely loves cats and they love him.

Leona and and his position in the kingdom's line of succession... Based off my understanding of what we see in the Tashmina event I think the Savanna would prioritize protecting their royal family over a lot, something that pissed Leona off. He went to fight the King of Beast's phantom because he saw it as a problem he made and that he needed to take responsibility for sure, but also because he had no faith in his brother to do anything meaningful about it. I want to say that his brother wanted to enshrine Leona as a hero for his sacrifice, but that this decision was very unpopular with his advisors so he was buried in the Elephant Graveyard without much fanfare. He is an extremely popular figure with the hyenas, as is Ruggie. They see him as restoring the Kingdom's honor in a way by defeating the false king, something no other country in the apocalypse can claim, but things are still rough since they can't rely on tourism anymore and the blot has been making the weather really unpredictable, leading to bad harvests and starving people.

If Yuu was Leona's... losing them wouldn't have a noticeable affect on him but it was a massively crushing blow. We know he hates his unique magic because turning things to sand is a curse in the Savanna, but did it really have to be his own family this time? The family he got in spite of himself, the one fucking person who chose him no matter how much he snapped at them and tried to convince them to see him for what he was; a worthless dead end that would only hurt them. And what's worse is he knows that whoever took them had his brother's cooperation.

"Couldn't let me have this one fucking thing could you?" He's laughing as he says it and not even the irritation in his sister in law's eyes makes him back down. "Stuff it. I ain't stupid enough for whatever line you got fed and I don't care about your justifications. You're gonna have to live with this one on your own, Falena. Just like I have to."

He refuses to talk to his other family after that. No matter who is asking or making demands, taking Yuu and Yutu away from him is just one step too far. His brother probably thought that Yuu would be allowed to come home and that's why he let them go, but that's not exactly an excuse Leona would be willing to accept from anyone, let alone the supposed leader of a state. He almost feels relived when the blot phantoms start wreaking things, Leona might just want to sleep until you come to wake him up again but fighting things gives him an excuse to get his mind off things. Dying is a relief, he doesn't have to deal with Idia's whining or living without you any longer than he already has. His only regret is that he had to take Ruggie with him.

I really love this fanart and head cannon fima11 had of Leona's hair being light when he was born, and the color getting darker as he grows, so the idea of something similar happening with Leona! Yutu when he's born is really sweet. Leona's hair sort of resembles a mane, it'd be cute if Leona! Yutu's did the same. And genetics are already so weird I don't think any earth doctors would like too much of it.

Leona! Yutu is a sleepy boy. His hobby is napping and his favorite place in the whole wide world is his bed. He has a bad habit of laying face first in his pillows because he snores pretty loudly and he doesn't want to wake anyone up, which sort of makes him look like he has passed out as opposed to just settled down for a good snooze.

Because he is being raised by a single parent in the human world and not a bunch of gossipy servants hired by emotionally neglectful royalty, Yutu is significantly less entitled than Leona is. He has good sense with his money and can work hard, he just has a bit of a problem with resting bitch face that leaves people thinking he is rude. And to be fair? If someone is testing his patience then he really can be. Apple didn't fall far from the tree, Yutu is absolutely brutal when people test his patience.

Yuu's memories of Leona don't exactly help with his perceived behavior problems, they recall Leona's catty personality and how rude he could be, but that he was so remarkably clever and so very strong, that they were in awe of him sometimes. I think they would mention that he struggled with depression due to a difficult upbringing and feel a need to make sure Yutu felt appreciated and like he could do anything he set his mind to, no matter who he was born as. Yutu just takes that to mean that being a bitch runs in the family and he fully intends to ride that excuse to the bank.

It's a nice thought but Yutu feels a bit conflicted by it. He has no doubt that Yuu will always love and support him, but other people? Yuu might be able to ignore what their neighbors say about them but Yutu can hear them loud and clear. They think Yuu's amnesia is an act, and that he's a weirdo freak. Not to mention they don't have any money so even if he wanted to be a doctor or something like that going to school would be a bit of a pain, even with his grades. He finds school to be boring, and even when he gets bullied by one of the coaches in to taking up a sport because of how strong he is it doesn't help much.

I could see him being very into space and astronomy because he feels like he doesn't belong in your world. He knows a lot of downright stupid stuff about UFO sightings and aliens even though he doesn't believe in them. He is SO DISAPPOINTED when Twisted Wonderland turns out to have no conspiracy theories to talk about, can't think the moon landing was faked if you never had one after all. If the world wasn't literally ending he would be pushing for the Sunset Savanna to win the space race, c'mon guys it is in our name everything the light touches totally expands to the stars-

Like the other beastmen Yutus he maintains his instincts, even in your world. He is extremely territorial about his things and especially your home. Like Cater! Yutu, he has strong feelings of nostalgia for your world, but unlike him it has nothing to do with the monsters or hardships. Lions just tend to stay in the same place for a long time so moving to entirely different world and ecosystem makes him feel weird, even if he prefers his beastfolk body to his human one.

Gets put in Savanaclaw by the mirror. He might like space but his preferred type of argument is rearranging someone's dental work before asking them to explain themselves. He'd be terrible at defending a thesis.

Leona! Yutu's place in the Sunset Savanna hierarchy is tricky. I think, as Yutu is his brother's child, Falena would want some sort of relationship with him as he does clearly love his brother. What makes that hard is that as far as the government is concerned, Leona is dead and that's the end of his part of the family line. Acknowledging that he had a son could further destabilize the already tense political situation in the Savanna since Leona's sacrifice is already a point of conflict between the royal family and a portion of their people. While Crewel has no problem telling Yutu about his father since he has a right to know, the fact that he is technically a prince is completely hidden from him for a long time.

We haven't really played with this idea yet, but I sort of like Leona having a ghost that hangs around his grave sometimes. Idia arranges for Yutu to go there on a day he thinks he'll be hanging around and while Yutu doesn't get to talk to his father he does get to see him and the look of pride in his eyes when the grumpy lion realizes who he is. Leona gets to pass on and be with Yuu while Yutu gets a lesson from his cousin about the concept of the great Kings living on in the sky and how the past lives on in him. Because while Cheka understand his dad's concerns like hell is he not going to meet his favorite cousin. His enthusiasm is really exhausting to Yutu, he appreciates the fact that someone has nice things to say about his dad but he isn't too sure how much he trusts this guy.

Oh right one more thing, I don't want to say each of the Savanaclaw boys would pass their magic on to their Yutu's so if we ever get around to Jack he won't, but Leona should pass on King's Roar to his kid. Causing a drought might be considered a curse but I want to say Leona! Yutu wears it with pride. He loves his roar and that despite all the effort put in to erasing Leona from existence he still lives in him. His head is fit to wear the crown, no matter what anyone says.

Leona clocks what Yutu is the instant he steps out of the portal. It's all in the kid's scent and what runes he used to make the jump. He takes some time to think about what it could mean and comes to a few conclusions. Firstly, if he has a kid with you then he will always have some sort of relationship with you, no not in the yandere possessive way (mostly), he just knows enough about himself and his wants to know that having a kid would not be something he did by accident. If he did that at some point in the future it would be because you were going to stay with him forever and he actually believed that. Something that clearly did not get to happen because of how protective Yutu is of his parent.

Yutu was a bit confused if he should go about interacting with his dad or even ask about him so you can imagine his surprise when he stops by Ramshackle to see Leona half asleep on the couch.

"Oh sorry Yuu isn't here-"

"I know." Leona doesn't even open his eyes, and is he seriously wearing his shoes on the couch? Yuu would kill him for that it's so unsanitary.

"Um. Ok I'll just leave you be the-"

"Why'd you travel back in time?" Oh Leona's eyes are open now and there is something about that stare that's nailing Yutu to his spot and tempting his tail between his legs. His dad must notice because he laughs and shakes his head. "Seriously? If that's all it takes to scare you shitless we really are fucked."

Leona doesn't outright say he knows he's his dad, but Yutu gathers that's probably the case from the difference in his attitude around him compared to everyone else. There's a degree of coldness and severity to Leona when he's giving orders that really isn't present when he's talking to him about overblots or his theories about who is responsible for the bad future. He's almost playful about it, like he is messing with a cub. Which Yutu supposes that he is but still, he doesn't like being treated like a kid. Something he very much regrets telling Leona because holy shit his dad is strong just like Yuu said he was.

I think Leona would make him play chess against him a lot. You can learn a lot about a person by playing chess with them, and since it's something Leona really likes to do he would enjoy sharing it with his son. I think he would also get a kick out of seeing Yutu get really competitive with him about it. Maybe there is some lion in this kid after all.

Leona also makes a subtle effort to teach him about how the court of the Sunset Savanna works. I think Leona would sort of enjoy the fact that his kid didn't grow up as royalty just because it meant he was free of the pressures that he had, but hate everything else he learned about Yutu's childhood. It inspires him to think a bit deeper about how he is going to address this when Yutu is born in this timeline, though he is admittedly lacking on solutions beyond refusing to die this time. He must have been really far gone to even consider making a heroic sacrifice that's not like him at all.

He does get the appeal of his father sort of? Sure he's lazy, but he is extremely intelligent and clearly a lot more knowledgeable about literally everything than Yutu thought he was. When they're working together he sees a very impressive person and reliable leader. When he sees Leona interact with you he has questions. Why do you let him pick fights with you so often? Yutu can tell he's making heart eyes at how you fight back but that's because he's a beatman himself so he can read his body language. And he's not crazy about how he orders you around because if his father is a Prince... wouldn't that mean by marrying him you would also be royalty? He is so confused...

Meanwhile Leona isn't rushing things just because he knows you return his feelings at some point. He wants you to choose to be with him of your own free will, wants the feeling that comes with knowing you did that and he is willing to play the game to get that. Every milestone he reaches is so much sweeter for knowing that he got you on his efforts alone, crappy attitude and all.

The reveal to Yuu, much like the reveal to Yutu is extremely mundane. Leona invites you to spend the night with him sometime after you get together and he asks you while you're curled up on his chest and he's holding you just a bit too tight (not because he's afraid you'll run, not at all) how you would feel if you could never go home.

"A little upset." Because you had resigned yourself to the possibility a long time ago now. There's a chance you're only in Twisted Wonderland because you died in your world anyway, might as well be grateful you're still kicking. "And if you stayed and things went bad here, would you still be alright with that?" You don't hesitate at all to his surprise. "I think I'd be safe if I was with you." Well he really hates to prove you wrong but you still deserve to know.

Leona is weirdly quiet in his anger. He roars sure, but that's to exert control. When he's mad he just gets smug and says a lot of hurtful stuff. He leaves the screaming to Yuu, and I could see a Yuu that got with Leona only to learn they didn't get to spend the rest of their life with him doing a lot of screaming. Preventing the apocalypse is a team effort now but first Yutu and Leona are getting scolded for not letting Yuu in on the secret sooner. Leona is down bad horrendous and Yutu wants to die, he hates making you mad.

If I had to make a list of characters I would trust to find a solution to an apocalypse, Leona would actually be pretty close to the top. He is going to bitch about it the entire way, but if he were given the facts before things went too sideways, I think he would be able to make a good plan to set them straight. And there is no way anyone is going to tell him that he managed to have something as precious to him as Yuu taken away from him and not have him do something about it. He'll swallow his pride and take his licks when he has to, but not on this. Never on this, whoever thought he'd just roll over and die is going to shatter in his hands and be like dust on the wind. He really hopes they have enough sense to be prepared....

summary: in which sevika comforts you after having a nightmare

You can't see.

The sound of your own gasping breath causes a nauseating sensation to settle within you. Everything around you is stark black, with no sign of anything familiar to pull you back to reality.

"It's okay," Her voice just barely keeps the dam from breaking. "It's okay now. I'm here."

Another sobs rips through you.

"I know," Her coaxing is tender. "It's okay. I promise." And even though she hadn't just relived your dream, you believe her. You know that she knows. She gets it. She gets you. Somehow, without you having to explain anything, she remains right here; understanding exactly what you need. "You're safe now."

Light illuminates the room suddenly. Despite the gentle click of her bedside lamp, the change is still jarring. Your eyes begin to burn as they struggle to adjust to your restored vision.

She stares back at you with piercing grey pools of care.

In that moment, the world rights itself again.

She doesn't say anything more. Your breathing calms to a steady pace, hair rising at the base of your neck as you realize that this is all you had needed. You can't help but marvel at how easy this is. How easy she makes it. All of those months of crying yourself awake, struggling through nightmares and flashbacks, only to realize that the simple gaze of someone you care for has washed it all away.

"I'm right here." She reminds you. And then you're pressed against the side of her, your head buried in her neck as her left arm circles around your waist. Naturally, you allow your legs to rest over hers. The cool surface of her headboard against your back is the only thing that keeps you from fully melting into her embrace.

Your hands grip onto her arm, the same arm wrapped around you, and you can't help but give her a light squeeze. It's an unspoken thank you. A gesture that you know she understands. She always understands.

Beads of sweat drip down the sides of your face and onto her shoulder. You don't bother to wipe them away.  And you don't think she necessarily cares.

Once you finally muster up enough courage to speak, you mumble, "It was a bad dream."

Her hold around you tightens. "Do you want to talk about it?"

You pause to ponder on her offer. Then you snort out a weird combination of a chuckle and sigh. "Not tonight. But I am more concerned that it's," You glance at the digital clock on her nightstand. "2 am in the morning and you somehow aren't tired of me."

"Why would I be?"

You lift your head, a wave of disbelief washing over you. "I've managed to disturb your sleep at 2am in the morning, Sev. Who wouldn't be even slightly annoyed by that?"

Even though you're grateful to be in this predicament, you hadn't necessarily thought you would ever get to this point with Sevika. Your friend group often teased her about being emotionally constipated. When you first met her, a month had passed before she even initiated a conversation. She wasn't the most outgoing. And she wasn't usually the type to hold people during strange hours of the night and listen to them complain about their issues.

But here she is. Holding you—asking you to complain. You struggle to fully understand why.

"The time of night is the least of my concerns right now." Sevika replies, pulling you out of your reverie. You're close enough for her breath to tickle your lips. Her pupils are dilated, gaze flickering to a space between your eyebrows. Then they trickle down to the slope of your nose before she peers at your lips. "Are you sure you don't need to talk about anything?"

You swallow thickly, reveling in the feeling of her skin against yours. Her hand slides to the base of your neck, fingers rubbing into the back of your scalp; holding you there. Tethering you to her.

A lump lodges itself in your throat. The sweetness of it all becomes painfully overwhelming. You aren't used to her being like this. And you definitely hadn't expected it. Every passing day that the two of you grow closer, the more that Sevika surprises you. The layers that come with her are multifaceted and sometimes entirely the opposite of what you initially thought.

Like now.

You blink slowly. "Why does it matter so much to you?"

A lapse of silence follows. Her eyebrows raise, head tilting in slight annoyance. You can already tell that she thinks your question is ridiculous. "You know why."

You suddenly feel naked despite being fully clothed.

Her gaze is unwavering, dark full lips parted and absolutely stunning. Your heart hammers in your ribcage. You're almost convinced it'll leap out of your chest as her words echo through your ears: You know why.

There's something between the both of you that's been boiling for a while now. You've been aware of it. It doesn't take rocket science for you to realize that friendships don't usually consist of shared kisses and slow morning rises with countless cuddles and breakfast food. At least, that's not how it's been for you with your past friendships.

But despite the line that's obviously been crossed, the both of you have yet to define exactly what you mean to each other.

It's something that you haven't been willing to say—for the fear of being rejected. For the fear of scaring Sevika away (it's taken a long time for her to become completely comfortable with you), and also for the fear of things changing.

You don't like change.

Not when everything is already perfect as it is.

But the signs are starting to become increasingly harder to ignore when she says things like 'You know why.'

"Did I scare you off..." She asks, grip tightening around your scalp in an attempt to regain your attention. It's a habit of hers you've grown to love. Your body grows rigid, a powerful magnetic force hitting you right in the gut. Within seconds, she loosens her grip, scratching gently into your scalp, completely oblivious to the sparks that she's triggered.

"No," You reply, mind fuzzy. "The opposite, really."

Her expression remains placid, as usual. But there's a tender shift in her eyes. It's subtle but it's there.

She tugs you closer to her and that's when you realize that you're in an awkward position of halfway sitting in her lap. You find yourself shifting your weight, trying to get comfortable despite the crick in your lower back.

"Here," She mumbles, pulling you towards her more. You allow her to guide you before repositioning yourself. You face her as you sit in her lap fully, legs straddling her. Both of her arms take this moment as an opportunity to wrap around your hips. Your heartbeat jumps up to your throat.

These feelings, these thoughts, are something that you don't ever think you'll get used to. Your mind can't help but focus on her half-lidded sleepy eyes, and how perfect they are when gazing at you in this way. She's wearing a tank top, which displays her broad shoulders and bulging bicep muscles.

And her hands....

God. Those hands.

She squeezes your hips and you bite your tongue to keep from reacting too strongly.

"Where do you keep going?" She inquires, searching your face with mild concern. She taps gently on one of your temples. "You don't always have to think so hard, you know."

Your throat is dry.

Like, desert dry.

You try to swallow but you can't.

Because she's so fucking handsome and caring in this moment.

You swallow thickly, an undeniable hunger rumbling through you. Out of complete desire, you reach up, fingertips brushing against the warmth of her brown skin.

You nod. "I know."

Then you bring your other hand up to cup her right cheek, caressing her for a few gentle moments, before traveling down to her neck. Your fingers graze against a few of her scars, rubbing gently into the skin, testing out the waters; hoping that this sort of intimacy is okay. She sighs at the feeling. Her eyes soften.

"You were screaming," She continues. "And no matter how hard I was trying to wake you, you wouldn't budge. I was worried."

Your eyes widen, realization settling within you from her admission.

She's still worried.

The kind of worry that she's never shown towards you before.

The kind of deep-seeded worry that people only have for those they really care about.

"I'm okay." You reassure her. Your hands shake as you squeeze her shoulders. "It was just a dream. Nothing worth mentioning for the time being, but I'm okay." Your chest hurts. Your throat hurts...your eyes. All of it. Feelings crash into one another, creating an impactful explosion within your heart. "You're here with me. So I'm more than okay."

Her eyes resemble something raw—almost close to...

"Okay." Her expression becomes heady. She allows her gaze to focus on your lips, incredibly transparent in her wanting—not holding back in the slightest with her intentions.

You analyze her in return, both confused and curious by her behavior. She lingers for so long, close enough for you to taste her breath, yet so far away. Your heart jumps into your throat as she peers back with an indescribable glint.

You feel a strong surge overtake you with a stuttering breath before you're leaning forward.

Lips and breath draw together, forming into the shape of one, and shooting a trail of shivers straight down your spine. Your mind buzzes, her affection unraveling you; breaking you. She's all soft skin and devastating fervor, with sounds of stars exploding between you two. The feeling of her holding you with immense regard—and the sensation of her chest pressing against yours, hands chaining you to her lap, digging into the flesh of your thighs with a delicious strength—has you falling apart pathetically.

You can certainly determine that there's been poems written about Sevika. The push-and-pull feeling of such perfection like her, with all of her charm and strength, is the sort of beauty that not every human is lucky enough to come across.

She bites and sucks and licks and it's otherworldly. Kisses melt into one another as a rhythm of panting and gasping materializes. She pulls away, lips planting into warm patterns against your neck. Your head tilts, need washing through every inch of your body.

Your grip on her shoulders tighten almost dangerously—to pull her close? Or steady yourself?—You can't be sure anymore. But she doesn't seem to mind, moaning into your mouth at the action.

Sevika is the first one that breaks away, lips puffy and pulled into a gorgeous grin.

Your lungs nearly collapse at the sight. This kind of smile that she wears is rare, laugh lines prevalent around her mouth with her gapped teeth on full display.

"As long as you continue to do that," You utter, still struggling to catch your breath.  "I'm pretty sure I'll always be okay." Then you shake your head, attempting to center yourself from the high.

She chuckles knowingly, smile widening so much that her face almost breaks. "I'll make sure to hold you to that."

A whole new multiverse threat appears and the spider society, mainly Miguel, are researching it while fighting it in different dimensions. It takes on the form of a demon with horns and bat wings but can also shape themselves into other figures, only looking like a black, slimy, and charred version of it. This anomaly was created from a multiverse inside of a universe: fairytale universes combined into one unique dimension.

It gets a chance to break into the spider society main hq, and miles, gwen, hobie, pavitr, margo, miguel, jess, peter, and XINA attempt to fight it, only for it to send them to its dimension. They get sent to different fairytales and have to either find a special embedded key to leave the story and return back, or live out the end until happily ever after… as it seems to be.

There’s three deities that live in this realm: one made of the essence of nature, with vines encapsulating its form. Another made of the water of the world, its waves washing over its frame. The final one is made of the essence of sunlight, mainly showing the sunset in its pink shades. Their story was destroyed by the demon, and they try to help these spider people to not only restore peace, but possibly relive their tale as well. They resemble the three good fairies from Sleeping Beauty.

what fairytales do you think each would be sent to? As of now, I only have Miguel in Snow White, Gwen in Cinderella, and Xina in Sleeping Beauty. I need help with the other ones so pls send some ideas!!!

For you AU can you share more about Starlo and his relationship with the feisty four? Do they have a temporary falling out here too? And what is theyr work dynamic like

I'm glad you asked! The Feisty Five/Royal Rangers are one of my favorite elements of the AU so far. In SequenceShift, the Feisty Five dynamic is pretty identical to how it started in the UTY, just a band of friends LARPing together in the Wild East. However, this changed when Ceroba recruited them to be her Royal Rangers and made Starlo her right-hand man. They're still a group of close-knit friends of course, but since they're more spread out in this AU across different posts, they're a tad bit more independent when it comes to their work. By the time Clover drops in, they haven't done anything as a group together in a while, work-related or otherwise, so they've been a bit distant. There actually is a falling out between them, at least in the Pacifist route, but it's a bit different. While Starlo's self-centralization and obsession with western culture does play a part of it, it's not the only reason for the tension. Another factor is Starlo's undying loyalty to Ceroba. The Feisty Four have their reservations about their job and are considering quitting on the spot, which is revealed first by Mooch and Moray should they be spared. My idea for a Pacifist run interaction is them reaching a breaking point and quitting on the spot, leading Starlo to try and capture Clover himself.

In case you're wondering about Star himself, he is well aware that Ceroba's experiments are wrong and has his own doubts about his orders. However, he carries them out anyway, since he's ultimately driven in his goal of making his best friend happy again. Ultimately, it takes Clover sparing him to help bring him back down to reality. In the Pacifist Route, my idea for the 'hangout' section with Starlo concerns bringing back the Feisty Five together in a 'night out on the town' kinda scenario and getting him to apologize for his behavior. It would also concern them reliving the things they loved doing together before becoming Rangers and restoring their old group dynamic. Once again, thanks for the ask!

Lives Assassinat-Ed and Protect-Ed, a preview into an Ed Edd n Eddy "Assassin AU" project...

I adore C2ndy2C1d's assassin take on EEnE and I'm often sad it never really went anywhere... Sure, there's the cool fan art and all, maybe a short story or two, but nothing all that much. In fact, I fear the AU is practically forgotten about, for the most part... So, I wanna do a fan fiction series dedicated to it and possibly turn it into another web comic series. I've taken the liberty of posting a short "Bible," per se, of notes to follow. Feel free to take a peek, if interested. It's also good to have this here, as a sort of "back-up," should something happen to the actual file.

Synopsis: How go the lives of the EEnE cast, especially for the likes of “Triple E” (Eddy, Double Dee and Ed), Nazz, and the “Dollies” (Sarah and Jimmy)? After all, they now have more than just themselves to keep alive and take care of, within this crazy career field of danger: three new faces, one for each undertaking wing mentioned prior.

Full Synopsis: The Eds and other once-residents of the Cul-De-Sac (and trailer park) try keeping alive, navigating through a life forced upon them in the assassination business. This soon expands to three additional characters: Claire, Yami, and Cio. Cio is taken in by the Eds, as Eddy took interest in this “mentorship” program, which the organization invented to increase the lacking “graduate” numbers, as of late. Eddy’s interested in the money, obviously, thus dumping most of the responsibility onto Double Dee (and an ever friendship-interested Ed). 

Nazz discovers Yami, when the younger lady is on the verge of dying on the streets, and takes pity on her: Nazz knows what it’s like to lose your home/family and there’s Nazz’s naturally kinder side. 

Claire becomes the “adopted puppy” of Sarah and Jimmy, after they decide to take home their newest “dolly/toy,” once finished with a hit upon a gang leader. Surprisingly, the Blades’ captured “werewolf” manages to win favor with the two, over time, and vice versa; although, it’s clear who’s in charge.

These newfound bonds actually help the specific assassins: Cio helps give Double Dee further reason to “keep going” in this cruel and evil lifestyle that forces blood onto his otherwise pacifist hands, “babysitting” (or generally caretaking another) helps Nazz relive easier days and living with a “younger sister” restores some feeling of familial homeliness, while Claire helps bring the crueler Sarah and Jimmy “back into the light” through empathetic/emotional appeal. As for the other two of “Triple E” (Ed and Eddy): Ed naturally welcomes Cio as much and enjoys being an “Uncle” to the small girl in his baby sister’s “care,” and Eddy does learn to care about Cio beyond him just being “extra cash.” When it comes to Yami, Ed’s just as friendly and Eddy’s cool with whomever’s so with him.

Everyone else definitely makes their own appearances: The Kankers naturally want to help out “their men” at times, Kevin is always willing to spend quality time with Nazz and help out his favorite (and most tolerable) “Ed,” Johnny and Plank are always willing to hang out with whomever (even Plank’s favorite “no-neck chump” of Eddy), and Rolf is there to be both badass practitioner of dark magic and… give the side-eye to a certain “wolf-girl” who belongs to two certain “Dollies.” Fortunately, his relationship with Cio and Yami is a tad less uneasy, and everyone else doesn’t take much issue with any of the three new faces.

Can everyone still keep alive, whether experienced veterans or underlings of sorts; and most importantly, is this a lifestyle that can one day be escaped?

Misc Notes:

*The canon characters’ relationships with one another are pretty much the same, as how it was in the actual series. However, characters feel a tad more unnerved by the more childishly cruel touch Sarah and Jimmy developed; meanwhile, The Kanker Sisters are less of a terrorizing force toward everyone and get along with the others better. The alteration of behaviors comes from: Sarah and Jimmy being more susceptible to “warping” because of them being the youngest and most impressionable from the organization’s given environment/efforts, while the Kankers have matured over the years and realize it’s better to save that antagonizing energy for where they’re forced to use it.

*Claire, Cio and Yami are NOT to be their animal-human-hybrid selves!! It may be an “alternate universe,” but it’s an alternate reality of the cast being assassins and NOT an AU where half-humans exist; however, the trio are to have animal themes/motifs for their respective animal that they’re normally hybrids of. Example: Claire is now “Herr Wolf,” the “werewolf” fighter of a strong wolf motif. In addition, Cio and Claire are to be taller and more height-appropriate for those their ages, looking less like children: Claire is still short as a 5 ft woman, but Cio is 5’ 5” now and has his facial fur as a faint jawline fuzz.

*It’s unknown how many “episodes” there’ll be, but it should end with the entire cast trying to escape toward better lives and freedom.

initially assumed to just be a vessel for the player’s thoughts and actions, has now demonstrated that she has a personality/motivations of her own and sees the player just as they see her: a force to work with to further a goal (although the stakes are higher for her).

immediately suspicious of blue, but unable to actually do anything about it until much later.

refuses to let red vicariously relive his adventure through her, wanting her journey/story to be her own. however, she is willing to work with/tolerate his cryptic bullshit to get to the bottom of whatever’s going on with her rival.

she has blastoise in this au. not super important lore-wise, just thought people should know

blue/“red”

exploited the changes brought about by the hacking process to take over red’s body and essentially force him out of the story/narrative. his reasoning for this is because every save file, he’s lost his reputation, position as champion, and the respect of his grandfather, becoming extremely jealous of red and deciding that he’ll never win if he tries to defeat him; he has to be him.

he’s still leaf’s rival in the story, he just has red’s appearance (or sprite, from the player’s perspective). he starts to go off-script from his usual banter as soon as he realizes that leaf thinks something’s up, becoming much more hostile to her (but being unable to actively stop her from progressing through the story).

forcibly fused his pokemon with red’s team (the one used in hgss) during his final match as champion as a last resort to get leaf out of the way for the time being and buy himself more time. it didn’t work and she still defeated him, taking his position as champion.

he’s conspicuously absent from the postgame (as “red” or his normal self). he’s actually stuck in the same space red occupies (at least until/unless the player restarts the game, which they likely won’t for a while after discovering the main 3 game characters are sapient beings).

red

occupies an anomalous space within the game that leaf enters every time the player tries saving the game. the game only saves properly after they answer his questions/talk to him.

doesn’t speak, just communicates through (initially) neutrally-worded dialogue prompts and questions. he tends to be very cryptic in these instances, much to the player and leaf’s collective frustration. he’s also aware of the player’s occasional attempts to skip his “dialogue”, deliberately slowing down the text speed and (temporarily) freezing the “b” button in response.

not evil by any means, but initially only sees leaf as a means to depose blue and regain his role as the protagonist. he stops and leaves her alone after arguing with her just before the elite 4, but not without telling her that she has to become champion for the game to (hopefully) be restored to normal.

he remains absent during the elite four and postgame, despite the player’s occasional attempts to have leaf re-enter whatever space he occupies.

Lineage Last – Anakin and Ahsoka both leave the Jedi Order after she is accused – and proven innocent – and although Obi-Wan understands, the fact that he they left, and he is the last of his lineage doesn’t hurt any less.

Amor – Obi-Wan has been to war before; no one needed to convince him to wear at least some armor. Now how much, that is a different story.

Love the new au! Is there a reason that Catra is the one who remembers and Adora is the one to take time? Does it have to do with their characters?

There's three main reasons, some meta and some in-fiction.

I have a headcannon about Catra having an eidetic memory. This has been referenced in many of my fics. This headcannon isn't really based on anything except a) I think different species/aliens would record, store, and recall memories differently, and thus I make it so magicats do and b) the angst of Catra remembering every terrible moment of her entire life, clinging to and reliving the good moments in her mind during her lowest moment during the war. Thus, she is the one to remember to remember the entire time, while Adora's mind locks away the impossible memories that make no sense until they finally come together again.

It also has to do with their characters. Catra is caught up in the past, with that being to motivation for her actions. She needs to make all her pain worth something, to continue working towards the dream she always shared with Adora. Meanwhile, Adora is motivated by working towards a better future for the world, and not necessarily herself, given her self-sacrifice complex. The AU emulates that: Catra remembers their past and always works toward restoring them as lovers, whereas Adora lives her life working towards whatever goal she has in this reincarnation, but always feeling like something is missing, though she doesn't know what it is until she meets Catra.

The other reason is that there are, of course, different takes on reincarnation AUs. I've always found ones where neither of them remembers boring. The song that inspired me had one person seeming to remember (or at least, remember things about their partner) while the other didn't, and given the ~vibe~ of the one who remembered fit Catra's personality to me (while also fitting their characters in canon, see above). I think AUs where one remembers and one doesn't (until a certain point) are the most interesting because of their dynamic, so that's what I decided to go with for the fic. It was very confusing for them in their second life, and a bit still in their third, but after that they had more of a hang of it, and Catra especially had memories of Adora coming to remember each time, she was more confident that things would work out.

I completely forgot about fantic Ralph in my supernatural/fairy tale au. He lives deep inside the forest in a long forgotten temple and spends anytime not spent not hunting is spent cleaning and restoring the place. He so desperately wants to appease his god and the best way to do so in his mind is blood sacrifice, obviously the animals he's been using aren't good enough so he sets his sights to something bigger.

He sets traps up all around his forest and just waits, one by one he traps hunters and travelers who've lost their way. And with every fail he falls deeper into his madness, the killings get more brutal, the bodies looking more like ground meat then a person. Every waking moment of his is consumed by rage, how could his god not recognize what he was doing? How could they just ignore him like this?

One evening he hears a scream of pain as another victim is trapped, he grabs his dagger and heads out. You're on the ground your leg mangled and covered in blood still caught in his trap. Through your tears you beg him for help and you are relived when he starts to pry the trap off of you, when the teeth release your leg your adrenaline rushes to your head making your world go black.

When you wake your arms are tied above your head on a cold stone alter, the room is dark save for the moon light filtering in from the hole in the ceiling. Every move you make twists your leg and shoots pain up your spine, the man from before enters the room with a large ceremonial dagger and his intentions are immediately clear. Despite the pain you start struggling praying to God that the ropes loosen or that he falls and impales himself, however you have now such luck when the ropes hold and he is standing over you.

"Stop your wiggling, everything has to be perfect and you are going to ruin it!"

Irritation is the only thing on in his eyes as he glares down at you and his yelling only makes your struggles worse. You weren't going to die like this, you can't. He pins your shoulder down as he raises the blade in the other and brings it down into your shoulder forcing your eyes closed as you start screaming. Ralph rips it your of your flesh and stares at the blood as it rolls off, no matter how many times he does this he'll never get tired of the sight. Setting the dagger down he pushes his finger into the wound and reveals in your screams. After another harsh jag your manage to jerk your body out of his grip and ripping the top half of your dress in the process exposing your breasts to him. He presses you flat to the stone and freezes, there on your shoulder was his god's symbol.

Finally after all this time his god has shown him favor, sending you to him to be his envoy on Earth. He drops the blade to the floor and his body follows suit as he begins to offer his thanks, he gets so focused he almost forgets you but then a sob brings him back to you. "Ralph is sorry my god, I did not know you were who you are. Punish me god, make me repent!" When you don't respond Ralph realizes that in this human form you are not as powerful and could not smite him as he deserves. He looks at your face and sees only agony, agony he caused his god. Perhaps if he replaced the pain with something else you would find it in your heart to forgive him.

"My lord please allow me to fix my transgressions, let me take care of you." He climbs over your damaged form and gently cups your heaving breasts, your blood covers one and makes it more appealing to him. Ralph massages them carefully and rolls your nipples between his fingers untill they have pebbled, he gazes at your face to gauge your reaction and find your eyes half lidded in what he mistakes as pleasure and not blood loss. Licking his lips he leans down and takes your bloodied nipple into his mouth and starts to swirl his tongue around it, your blood is better than anything he has ever had. Using his free hand he leans down and lifts your skirt to your waist and prods your entrance and is delighted at the moisture there. He pulls the front of his trousers down and starts to press his hard on past into your tight heat, his eyes roll backwards as he feels closer to heaven then he ever has. Despite being semi conscious state you feel everything Ralph is doing to you but have no power to stop it, you try to pull your hips away but only succeed in pulling him deeper inside you.

Ralph immediately sets a frantic pass rutting into you as if it's the last thing he'll ever do and even if you killed him after this he would die the happiest man on the planet. He releases your nipple with a noisy pop and latches on to the other one and suckles on it with the same enthusiasm. Your body heats up as a knot builds in your stomach and soft moans start to make their way out of you, Ralph is howling above you as he loses himself to you completely. Every thrust feels like he's stroking your womb and after a particularly hard thrust you clamp down on him and gush around his cock. Your eyes start to roll back and you start to fade as you come down from your climax, by the time Ralph cums inside you you're completely passed out.

With a sense of pride Ralph pulls himself out of you and watches his seed spill out of your still twitching cunt, warmth builds in him as he gazes down on you. All his hard work was finally rewarded, now he just had to keep proving himself worthy to you.
