i’m working my way through a certain personal project (once again) and i wanted to share this cause i’ve been sitting on this for a while and @queenoftheantz gave me such a wonderful unicorn animation and helped me out with the design as a horse expert 💛💛💛 thank you so much!!!

BG3 Comic: The Last Unicorn

Be Forewarned: Dark Urge Spoilers

This comic was inspired by the excellent idea of using The Last Unicorn dialogue for Astarion’s story from @fangsandfeels and the lovely comic made by @solmesia depicting it. You can see the original post here and the comic here.

When I read the original idea I thought that this also potentially works in reverse for a redemption Dark Urge who is horrified by their monstrousness. I did edit and add to the original dialogue for my own purposes.

(Also I really think it would have been cool if slayer form worked more like an uncontrollable werewolf-like curse rather than a gift you have to seek out.)

we never saw how Isabel made it back to the stables in under the fairy moon so my headcanon is valentina gave her a piggy back ride the whole way despite having multiple unicorns around

“Yes,” the unicorn turned young woman answered. “That is my wish.”

But in the same moment Arthur said, “No.”

He put his hands out to her, and drew a step closer. She did not shy from him, instead taking the offered hands and holding his gaze until it was Arthur who looked away.

His gaze found Merlin’s, stern and knowing. “It’s you who knew better than I that the quest cannot end here. I’m a hero, nothing more. It’s only a trade, but heroes know about the order of things. Quests cannot simply be abandoned. Prophecies cannot be left unfulfilled. And happy endings cannot come in the middle of the story.”

Hooray! :D The last movie I was on at Netflix Animation, Thelma the Unicorn, finally has a release date and official announcement! So stoked for y'all to see it!!! :D. It is by far the best and most fun project I've ever worked on, and I hope the joy the crew experienced comes through in the final film. Stay tuned for May 17th!

Not to say the sequels are absolute trash, alright maybe after three they just go into utter garbage territory, but that first movie is so good and so meta that it's hard to top.

You have the horror movie angle, the music rock star angle, it's funny without being cynical and terrifying without being cheap, plus the special make up effects are stellar.

Yeah no, I can't recommend the first movie enough. As for the sequels, if you want to fill up some space in your horror movie schedule, go right for it. At worst you'll have a laugh with them.
