Manifestation Win — The “Missed” Callback

Since the beginning of the year, I have been manifesting getting into a very important musical that will be running in my city this fall. A few weeks ago, I was called in to do a soft general audition which went well (because of course)! By the time my audition was over, I was asked to come in for their open casting call. Mission accomplished.
This past Thursday, I received an email with my time slot for the open call, but for some reason I was confused as to when the day of the open call was because it wasn’t stated in the new email I was sent. I wrote the casting director to get clarification on this date but apparently, I still had the wrong date.
Long story short, I missed my initial callback because I misinterpreted which day I was needed. BUUUT, I received an email last night (shortly after falling asleep knowing that the particular role I want is mine) that their team would still love to see me this coming week for their final FINAL round of callbacks (because of course they want to see me).
Here’s how I did it:
1.) I ignored the 3D - I allowed myself to freak out for a moment after the casting director called me about my missed time slot but then, I realized that I was the operant power and took a chill pill (deep breaths and all).
2.) I acted as if (lived in “the end”) - When I received the call, I was actually at work (dealing with third graders all day - which is a different level of chaos), but I finished the day as if I hadn’t received that call and that I had actually slayed my callback earlier that morning.
Also, when I got home later that evening, I looked at my sides and songs for the character I wanted as if I were preparing for the second round of callbacks.
3.) I used affirmations: “I’m so lucky”, “Everyone in the room LOVED me and my energy”, “I always get what I want”, “I never miss a thing”.
4.) I used the revision technique - The same evening before bed, I used the revision technique to undo the fact that I “missed” the callback, and relived it as if I had a successful callback!
All I can say is, KEEP GOING friends 🥹✨

the secret to revision is that remembering is only imagining. you’re not convincing yourself that things happened differently; you’re just remembering the past as you desire it to be.
#manifestation tips#how to manifest#revision technique#neville goddard#law of assumption#literally the parts of the brain that light up are the same for memory as they are for imagination.#it’s the same thing. so just remember “the past” in the image you desire it to take.#we think the past is “set in stone” because we say “it happened.”#but you’re the only one who credits anything as valid/real/true.#it only happened because you said it did. whether it’s what you want to have happened or what you don’t want.#so just give validity to your desired past

࿐໋ Revision.
──
The past isn't as fixed as we've been led to believe. Actually, it is not fixed at all. It exists only as a memory. A story you continuously tell yourself. But if it is just a story, doesn’t that mean you have the power to rewrite it?
Neville Goddard taught us that revision is the key to reshaping your reality. The concept is simple. Revisit a past event in your mind and change it. Reimagine it unfolding exactly as you wish it had. Immerse yourself in the experience, feel it as real, and accept it as truth.
This isn't "pretending" or wishful thinking. You are literally rewriting your timeline. The past is not an unchangeable record. It is a construct of consciousness, and consciousness is the foundation of reality.
When you change your inner world, your outer world inevitably follows. Rewrite the memory, and you will reshape not only your past but also your present and future.
──
Remember that you are never obligated to align with the past. Kisses, Angie. - 𝜗𝜚

how to revise effectively
revision is a very important part of education, but many people have no idea how. in this post i'm going to outline the basics of revision. it's important to note that different subjects will require you to revise differently, there is no one size fits all when it comes to revision.
less is more- studying for 30 focused minutes is way more effective than a 5 hour study session while you watch tv.
work on exam technique- this is such an overlooked part of revising for an exam, but if you know how to answer the questions and what structures to use, it will really help you. ask your teacher or search for your exam board online to find out the best way for your subject and exam board.
manage distractions- if like me you get distracted super easily, you need to create an environment with limited distractions. this means put your phone on do not disturb, if your house/place of study is noisy put some headphones on and listen to classical music or study ambience (my favourites are the Harry Potter rooms by Asmrweekly on youtube). if you get distracted while studying by thinking of things you need to do, something that's really helped me is to have a piece of paper next to me that i can write all my thoughts on, so i can continue studying and do what i've written afterwards.
set precise goals for your study session- this helps to reduce procrastination. for example, if I put "study geography" on my to do list i'll procrastinate, but if I put "do 30 flashcards for the topic hazards" I have a clear idea of what I need to do
use the pomodoro method- having breaks is really important in keeping you engaged while you're studying. I don't follow the typical timings, but I usually do between 30-45 minutes of studying followed by a 10-15 minute break depending on how I'm feeling
utilise your study breaks- it's so easy to pick your phone up and scroll through tiktok until you realise your 5 minute break turned into a 3 hour tiktok binge. when I go on a study break, I only go on my phone to snap people back, or for a little scroll on pinterest. I also like to get some more water, grab a snack and stretch. If I'm having a longer break, I'll try to get outside and go for a walk, especially if the weather is good (in England this is about 5 days of the year haha)
now, onto different ways to revise
doing past papers
doing flashcards
making timelines
doing essay plans
making mindmaps
blurting
quizzes
if you study languages, practicing translations or specific types of questions that come up in the exam (for my exam board this is things like gap fill activities, 90 word listening or writing summaries, finding synonyms in a text etc.)

We all struggle with writing, especially in academic contexts. This particular method proved immensely beneficial in my journey of crafting my MPhil thesis, offering invaluable assistance. It provided the essential support needed to overcome the challenges inherent in academic writing.
Shitty First Draft Concept: The concept of the “shitty first draft,” a writing technique coined by Anne Lamott in her book “Bird by Bird” (1994). It emphasizes the importance of writing a rough first draft without worrying about quality.
Writing Process: The technique involves letting ideas flow freely onto paper, knowing it can be shaped later. This approach helps writers overcome the fear of starting and the pressure of creating a perfect first draft.
Benefits: By writing a “shitty first draft,” writers can get their thoughts out and familiarize themselves with the scope of their work. This makes subsequent editing steps easier and more effective.

A good structure is something you can trust.
It relieves you from the burden of remembering and keeping track of everything. If you can trust the system, you can let go of the attempt to hold everything together in your head and you can start focusing on what is important: The content, the argument and the ideas. By breaking down the amorphous task of “writing a paper” into small and clearly separated tasks, you can focus on one thing at a time, complete each in one go and move on to the next one . A good structure enables flow, the state in which you get so completely immersed in your work that you lose track of time and can just keep on going as the work becomes effortless (Csikszentmihalyi, 1975). Something like that does not happen by chance.

So an update on uni and life since it’s been about 2 weeks :)
#so uni is going well I think#it’s definitely been a lot and my schedule is very full#so I’m in uni pretty much everyday#but I’m just trying to find a revision technique that works well for me#because I feel like I waste time in the sense that I go to lectures but don’t take anything away from them#some of lectures are really quiet so I have to constantly rewatch#and loads of people around me seem to understand everything#so I kind of question like if I should’ve gone to uni 💀#but my tutor gave some really good advice#which is helping a lot#and my bsf also gave some advice which was very nice#on another note my laptop is out of service I like to say#so I’ve become a pen and paper girlie#until that gets fixed#but apart from that everything is going well#I’ve managed to talk to some people and become friends so it’s just getting to know people#but apart from the occasional imposter syndrome I’m having a really good time and enjoying my course :)#gatherrambles#theunidiaries

another thing i've been employing from tom's vids: if you're remembering it in undesirable ways, you're remembering it wrong.
we have this belief in the solidity of the past. but thinking about the past is just an imaginal act. the only moment that exists is now. so, remembering and imagining are just the same thing. knowing this, the shift is to remember yourself as you'd like to be.
remember events as you wish them to be. remember your desires as you'd like them to be. remember yourself as you want to be. it's like combining neville goddard's revision and "i remember when" technique. remember your desires as past events instead of imagining/hoping for them as future ones.
#neville goddard#revision technique#give your desires the same solidity as your memories. it's already just as real.

anonymous said : Mr. Ratio, I have an embarrassing problem. My teacher told me I’m not allowed to take notes in class to study later. He said if I really pushed myself and cared about my studies I should be able to memorize the lesson without needing notes to review later. Is he right?
⸻ ❝ your teacher would benefit revisiting the education system. what an antediluvian belief. ❞ even his desk , possesses a great deal of notes , bearing a myriad of annotations towards his current project. ❝ revising is essential. our memories atrophy if we do not exercise consistent practice , and as such , topics will slip from our grasp. it is an inevitable fact , that from this point onwards , you will face frustration as you cannot recall what was said earlier. ❞ steepling fingers , alabaster obscures only slightly , where empty eyes remain fixed on the asker. granting complete and utter attention , towards a raised issue that concerns him vastly.
❝ individuals each have their varied learning approaches , but our minds are a tool that must be sharpened and polished to maintain their prime condition. dismiss your teacher and his words , he clearly fails to comprehend this critical truth. continue to review where necessary , and discover the best technique that suits you. ❞
#* ✦ 𝐈𝐈. ❮ asks ❯ ⸻ ❝#* ✦ 𝐕𝐈. ❮ muses ❯ ⸻ ❝ 「 veritas ratio 」#he has a passion if you cannot tell#but yeah there's an assortment of studying techniques and learning methods out there#it took me so long to discover mine and i've left university now#there's no “right” way there's only the one that works for you#but revision is something that im sure everyone agrees needs to be done#in the workplace you have constant meetings to revise and review how the flow is going and how to improve#even in programs they tend to have you reflect on what occurred so you may learn from it and continue to grow#you need to review to prioritise the important points of the lesson so you can study efficiently too#theres a reason why lectures are also recorded so you can revisit them later

The Importance of Revisions: Tips for Improving Your Writing
Writing is a creative process that requires dedication, skill, and the willingness to revise and improve. Hii!! Can you talk about how to script for revision?? Thank you ❣️
Of course! I’ll talk about my experience when revising my Mom and my roommates since I’m still working on SP (mostly my self concept first so I can be as specific as possible) and what I did for each situation is different. You can see both the stories in my masterpost.
When it comes to my Mom, my script was more like a story-style first person book. I would remember the good things I enjoyed about my Mom when I was a child and before her mental illnesses suddenly coming up and wrote that up in a doc. I also thought about the traits that I felt somewhat jealous about when it came to the families of other people that I wanted for myself. I recognized that jealousy and flipped it around saying how everyone was jealous because my Mom was the way I wanted her to be and how I loved my relationship with my Mom. Describing the things we did, the things we enjoyed as in memories from seeing her whenever I visited her (even though I haven’t seen her in person for 8 years) in a first person narrative and then describing the conversations I had with her like I was already having them. I indulged in the feeling of how much fun I had with my Mom and how much I missed her but I turned the feelings of missing her old self of missing her because we live in different cities and thinking how much fun I have with her.
Suddenly, my Mom was revised in one night and my Mom is exactly how I want her to be. I have conversations with her normally without her being like before (she has BPD and schizophrenia, but hasn’t shown any things of that since the revision and it has been quite a time) and when she was even calm and open with me about her worries, I affirmed that my brother (who has also been the root cause of my rift with her) would move out and that my Mom would move out to her dream place because she was really afraid of her previous neighborhood because it was dangerous. In the end, one day my Mom was cleaning my brother’s room and found certain “grass paraphernalia” and kicked him out and when she went apartment hunting, she found a beautiful huge apartment in front of the beach for cheap and moved. All of this happened in just a week and everything has been pretty wonderful since then. I will eventually revise my brother but I know I hold resentment towards him still for disrespecting me and my mother’s illness so I’ll work on myself first then on my perception of him.
When it comes to small things like my roommates doing certain things, I made a custom server for myself on Discord where I write conversations with myself like telling a friend things like my roommates cleaning or not being mad because of gaming. Then I re-read the convo and make affirmations very short and easy to remember affirmations related to that and that usually works for me quite well.
The key is doing what feels natural to you. If what you write doesn’t feel right it’s because you either have to work on self concept or your assumption about the person or situation first or the writing technique isn’t the right one for you because it doesn’t feel natural to you. Have fun, be specific, this is writing a story, YOUR STORY. And after that just be very simple with your affirmations especially if you’re an anxious person or an overthinker. That way is easier to overwrite any intrusive thoughts. Identify what’s easier for you and work from that, if it’s not natural it won’t work. You’re the God of your reality, you don’t need to adapt yourself to the techniques your read, YOU are the one that adapts the technique because it’s YOUR reality and YOUR rules.
I don’t think it’s bad to overconsume as long you learn from reading to learn, adapt those teachings and apply. Go with a mentality of “Yes, I like how this sounds but I will adapt it to what feels natural to me because the law bends to what I want and feels natural to me”. Same goes for the feelings during manifestation, they should be natural. That’s why work on yourself first so it feels natural that good things chase you because you’re amazing and it would be natural people bend to match such a wonderful person and that good things happen to you because you’re a God and everything works in your favor. So it’s natural everything good happens to you and it’s not about lucky girl syndrome. You’re not lucky because you’re a God, it’s just natural everything good happens to you because you’re a God and you’re in charge of literally writing your own story and it’s not about luck that things will happen, it’s just natural things will happen.
Hope this is helpful!
(Also sorry if there’s anything weird in the formatting but the mobile version of Tumblr does weird things sometimes).

How to prepare for exams
One of the most challenging jobs that students typically encounter is studying for exams. Due to uncertainty regarding the exam question paper's content, pupils experience stress and anxiety just before the exam. Yet, many students test their knowledge by using various study approaches but still, they have a little worry in their minds.
Undoubtedly, during our school and college years, we all had to deal with this exam anxiety. No one denies that stress is a factor leading up to exams. If you're one of them and experiencing uneasiness before attempting your examinations, you can benefit from the advice in this article. We will explain how to study for your examinations in this blog post.
Plan out your study time.
Organize your revision so that you make the most of your time. Which part of the day—evening, afternoon, or morning —do you prefer most? Can you read more frequently at certain times? This will enable you to establish a general plan for what you intend to do, however, you should always leave room for adaptation in case circumstances change.
Verify that you comprehend everything.
If you come across anything you do not understand, attempt to uncover a fresh piece of information that will help you grasp it. Just memorizing the material won't be enough for you to clear the exam. If you need assistance, be bold and ask your teacher or a friend.
Start revision early
One of the best ways to perform well on tests is to start revising early. If you start revising at an early stage, you might come up with many topics on your tips. It can also help you understand complicated topics easily.
Take care of yourself during exams
Exercising regularly while studying is another smart move. A quick stroll or other forms of exercise increases the heart rate, which will make you more alert. Aside from that, take care of yourself by staying away from cold beverages that make you cough, have a cold, or have a headache.
Change up your revision methods.
Going over your notes on a subject or performing the same action repeatedly seems very boring. You can spice up your study time by trying different workouts and methods. Here are some options that you can include in reading your notes.
To test your memory, create concept maps or other summary diagrams, then compare the results to your notes. Examine the areas where you may have left out information or where gaps may exist.
Complete the sample papers and questions to test your comprehension.
Do group discussions to clear your doubts or complicated questions so you can easily attempt those questions in your exams.

Look at previous year's papers
Collect samples and previous year's question papers to get a sense of the format of the question paper. You can get an idea of how many marks each question has by examining the papers from the previous year. You can also use this to determine the significance of the key chapters. Additionally, you can get accustomed to the format and kinds of questions you'll be asked. Also, practice completing exam papers within the stipulated time limit to improve your exam technique.
Today's children's academic development is greatly aided by online educational portals. You can get educational assistance from India’s leading portal, i.e., “study24hr.com.” It is a fantastic online learning environment that seeks to improve students' academic performance and comprehension abilities. The service allows learners to access mock test papers, daily boosters, inspiring movies, academic notes, and other study aids. Furthermore, “study24hr.com” allows teachers and educational institutions to publish their notes on its website and receive leads from students.
Set study targets.
Establish a goal to keep track of what you are learning or revising during each study session. Whether you want to set goals for the current study session or the one after, you may do so as soon as you begin. Here are some examples of possible study objectives:
I'll go through and briefly summarise chapters 5 and 6.
I'll go over five equations at least.
I'll comprehend and retain the essential ideas covered in the lectures from weeks two through four.
Don’t hesitate to ask for help
Never be afraid to contact your mentor, tutor, or parents for help if you run into any difficulties or issues when studying. Because if you don’t seek help, you will not be able to correct yourself. And due to your incorrect comprehension, you can make the same error again in your tests. So, whenever there is any difficulty, ask your teacher before it’s too late.
Don’t stay up late at night
You'll become more anxious and stressed if you stay up late and study. Therefore, it is better to review what you have already learned and get a good night's sleep rather than cramming everything into the day before the exam. The important exam preparation you should be undertaking the night before your exam comprises the following:
Examine your notes.
Collect all your study material
Test yourself on the essential ideas
Set alarm
Maintain Consistent Intervals
Everyone’s perception is unique. What functions for you may not function for others. When establishing a study schedule, think about taking breaks when they are most effective for you. For instance, take a break early if you study best at night. And if you work better in the morning, begin your study session before taking a break for lunch.
The Final Review
It should be understood that revision before exams is a must. If you don’t prepare for your exams, you will not be able to attempt pleasantly in your tests. Hence, all the above-mentioned strategies can aid you in preparing for your exam days. Even if you implement at least one or two of the tactics, you can observe a huge improvement in your academics. Hence, you can achieve success by following your preferred guidelines.
