Keep Your Heart Beating
Kylo x Friend Reader x Hux
Ophelia has been with the First Order for seven years, who is Kylo Ren’s best friend/apprentice. But when she tells him of her health condition, unbeknown to them, Hux was nearby overhearing the conversation and her future plans she had made further down the line once treated.
Kylo Ren knew that he had to be gentle with his best friend/apprentice, Ophelia, who has been his friend since they were 17 years old. Ophelia is the opposite of Ren: slow to anger, but very patient. Of course, everyone in the First Order grew to like her because she was the only person that was able to calm down her master when it comes to plans that did not go the way they should, and also General Hux getting him into trouble with supreme leader Snoke.
Now, that he is the new supreme leader, he believed with her by his side as his right hand, they will be unstoppable to take down the Resistance. Over the next few years, things have calm down until one day, during the training routine of sparring light sabers, Ophelias’ hand flew straight for her chest, clutching it, as if she were having a heart attack. Her body begin to shake, and her sight began to become blurry.
She drops her light saber and I she was falling, she felt strong arms catch her before she hit the floor and noticed the figure with dark hair hovering over her before everything went dark. Minutes felt like hours as she regained conscious. She opened her eyes, and she had to squint her eyes for the light above her was so bright that she had to hold her hand over her face. Ophelia sat up on her elbows and looked around and over to her right, she saw Kylo, leaning on his hand sleeping.
She gently called out to him, “Ren?” Almost immediately he opened his eyes looked over to see that Ophelia has awoken from her slumber. He got it from his chair and walked over to her side, held her hand and looked at her.“You gave me quite a scare. I was told you may have been exhausted…” He said with concern in his eyes as he gave her hand a squeeze. “… The medical droid will come back with the results soon.”
As soon as he said this, as if on cue, the medical droid called F1-799, appeared in the room with them datapad in his hand. He said to Ophelia, “I’m glad that you are awake for you should prepare yourself for I’m about to tell you….”
Kylo did his best to not show any emotion in front of the droid as he squeezed Ophelias’ hand. “It appears your heart condition has gotten worse and it would be best that you make preparations to come to a decision.…” “Wait, what heart condition?“ Kylo interrupted. “It’s all right F1–799 I will tell him.” Ophelia said, as tears begin to fill up in her eyes she looked at her friend. “Leave us.” he commanded, and the droid left.
“What condition is he talking about?” Ophelia looked at Kylo and said, as tears rolled down her cheeks, “The reason I would be out of breath most of the time and would not be able to train as much as I used to…” She said, as she was doing her best to hold in her sobs and she felt her voice was about to break. “I have what you call CHF or the long word for this condition: Congestional Heart Failure.” Kylo eyes grew wide at the news Ophelia told him.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about this before. I told you about my future plans of having children one day and I was told the only way to cure this condition is to have surgery or instead, I could check myself into hospice care on the vessel…” Before she could say more, Kylo pulled her into a hug and said in her ear, “I’m going to help you get through this. You will get better.” He begin to squeeze her tighter and she returned the hug. Then he said, “Just promise me you’ll keep your heart beating.”
And Ophelia replied, “I promise.” As this was happening, Hux stood around the corner, observing from afar as he just heard of the situation.
Later…
Ophelia entered her livingquarters and was getting herself ready for bed. As she was doing so, she heard a small knock on her front door. “Now, who could that be at this time? I’m pretty sure I wasn’t expecting anyone.” She thought, as she approached the door. The doors swooshed open to reveal that it was no other than General Hux.” I hope I’m not interrupting anything…” He said as he stepped into headquarters. “No, I was just about to get ready for bed.” She replied, as she stepped back.
After about five seconds of silence, Ophelia asked, “What brings you here at this time of the night?” Hux replied, “My apologies, for I was informed that you have a heart condition.” Ophelia never told Hux or anyone about her heart condition besides Kylo. “How did you…?” Before she can finish the question, Hux threw himself at her, surprisingly hugging her. Ophelia was stunned and frozed where she stood, for she had never seen this side of Hux before.
He breaks away from the hug with his hands still on her sides of her arms and said, “The reason why I came here not only that I heard of your heart condition…” She asked, “Then, why are you here?” he replied, as Ophelia noticed he had tears in his eyes, “I could not just let you go into surgery without telling you that I have feelings for you.” Ophelia was shocked beyond belief that she didn’t know that Hux liked her. “ I understand that you and Kylo are together.…” Hold on, who said anything about me and Ren being together?” She asked in confusion.
Hux too was shocked that he assumed that they were together. “Wait… I thought you two were…” she replied, “Me and Ren are best friends. I see him as a brother figure. A brother that I never had since I am the only child in my family, I don’t have any siblings.“ Hux wanted to let out a sigh of relief, but looked at her and said, “If you do happen to survive the surgery, is there any chance that me and you get to know each other better?”
Ophelia felt the heart skip a beat. She thought about it for 10 seconds and replied, “If I do survive the surgery, I would give it a shot.” As soon as she said this, Kylo walked right in and looked at the both of them. He walked up to Hux and said with a warning hinted in his voice, “ You break her heart, I will not hesitate to rip yours out.” Hux immediately nodded his head in agreement to Kylos’ warning as he walked over to Ophelia and hugged her and said, “I wish you all of happiness. Just remember to keep your promise. I’ll always be here, no matter what.”
They stayed in the hugging position for a little while, and, of course, Hux couldn’t help but to join in, which Kylo found very awkward.
Two days later…
It has been a while since Ophelia had her surgery. Now in recovery, she opened her eyes only to see not only Kylo and Hux standing before her, but some of the crew members were also there in the room she was recovering in to welcome her back.
“Welcome back, Ophelia.” F1-799 said as he approached her. “ I must inform you that you did flatline for 25 seconds during the procedure…..” Ophelias’ eyes grew wide at this. “Don’t worry, we were able to resuscitate you and furthermore, your surgery was successful.” She let out a sigh of relief as laid back down. “ But..” Then she lifted her head up from the pillow, “…you must wait a while before you can continue with your training and of course, starting a family down the line. So until then, you must have complete rest.” Ophelia rolled her eyes and agreed in annoyance as the droid left the room.
As everyone left the room, one of the officers, who happened to be her friend, Lusica Stynnix, walked up to her and asked, “How are you feeling?” “Groggy.”Ophelia replied as laid herself back down on the bed. “You gave us quite a scare when you went into surgery, but I’m glad that you’re OK.” She said that she squeeze her hand and she left. All that was left in the room was Hux and Kylo.
“I will leave the two of you alone.” Kylo said as he walked out. Hux walked to her side and asked her, “are you sure you’re all right?” Ophelia looked up at him and replied, “Yes I am fine. I’m just very sleepy.” Hux placed his hand over her head as his fingers combed through her hair. “Then I suggest you you close those beautiful eyes and rest as much as you need, for you have a long road ahead of you.” Hux said as he bent over and kissed her on her for head
Then he bent over and whispered in her ear,“I’ll be looking forward to spend every last minute with you.” And as he walked out of the room to let Ophelia rest, he couldn’t help but look over his shoulder and he saw a smile appear on Ophelias’ lips as she had heard what he said to her before falling into a deep sleep.
Epilogue
Somehow, both Kylo Ren ( Now known as Ben Solo) and Rey were able to defeat Palpatine and his new army and made peace with the resistance, despite his past crimes, the people were able to find it in their hearts to forgive him and welcome him back into society, since he had redeemed himself. ( Hux Survives)
Hux and Ophelia eventually married later on as soon as she recovered. And together, they build a temple to teach those who are force-sensitive, becoming a new order of Jedis under both Ophelia, Ben an Reys’ supervision.
Of course, Ben and Rey also married the same day as Hux and Ophelia.
Hux and Ophelia had four children. Two boys and two girls. (Alexander, Olivia, Armitage and Anastasia)
Rey and Ben had three children. Two boys and one girl.(Hans, Leia and Luke)
I hope you guys enjoy the story. Don’t forget to like, comment and follow. Have a great day. 😊

I just still CANNOT get over the last few minutes of Ben Solo in TROS. It’s criminal.
How everything about his character is just shifted. The moment he runs into that first camera shot—sees Rey’s x-wing and takes off—you can feel the change instantly. His body movements are so unfettered and human in comparison to Kylo: his run, his jumps, even his voice is changed. I mean the first and last thing we hear him say is LITTERALLY a humorous: “Ow.” (which still makes me laugh to this day) But by far my favorite is how much he acts like his dad…the swagger, the emotiveness as he fights and the confidence. It’s so god damn heart warming.
I live for that adorable little shrug when he gets his saber from Rey. ITS MORE HAN ENERGY THEN I CAN STAND. But also the little gotta-pace-myself breath he lets out as a knight slashes the saber behind his back wrecks me too. Like he’s almost trying to remember how to fight the way he used to as a Jedi. But seeing Ben fight with such skill and freedom kinda makes me choke up—we know just what it took to get him there. You just feel so happy for him!
But then it all comes crashing down.😭
Before I go any further though…WHY THE HELL DID ADAM DRIVER NOT WIN AN AWARD FOR THIS MOVIE?! I mean, my god this man can act. When Ben pulls himself out of the pit the Emperor threw him into, he doesn’t say one word—his body movements and facial expressions do all the work. The way he falls to the floor in pain, and every step is torture leaves little to the imagination what he’s going through.
But what truly TRULY won’t leave my head is how he reacts to seeing Rey dead in his arms. The way he just inhales this devastating, searing sob…you viscerally understand how much he loves her—and always has. Like you could hear that his world had been taken away. It also destroys me how Ben physically cannot handle the sight of her lifeless eyes. The way he rocks back and forth hysterically trying his best not to break down makes me cry every time. I’m sorry but that is PEAK romance for me, even more then their kiss. It simultaneously confirmed for me that they were taking the romance angle with this couple.
Then the way Ben looks at Rey when she’s revived is so emotional, you can hear his inner monologue from his eyes alone. Is this real? Did you really come back me? But I don’t know if you feel the same way I do. And when he does get confirmation and Rey says his name and kisses him you see just how ready he is—he pulls her tight to him so fast. Then they had to give us THE BEST SMILE OF ALL TIME IN STAR WARS, followed by the most heart warming little laugh, like he’s so happy—he’s finally accepted and loved by someone…aaaand then they take him away from us a second later. It’s something I will never forgive, dang it! You can’t make a character go through so much, redeem himself, be the coolest character possible, then destroy him. It’s just not right. All this talk and theories of the new movies is opening this wound wide open for me! Ben Solo and Adam Driver deserved so much more than this!

Aisle 39. Ben's Hardware
5250 words / Ben Solo x Rey
Tumblr media
Warnings: I8+ mdni. Sexual tension, dubcon (via uninformed use of force connection but she wants it), dry humping. I 🖤 Dry Humping. Hardware Store AU but more than meets the eye.
A/N: posting my first fic in any fandom since I never posted it on Tumblr aside from the AO3 link and Tumblr is home now 🖤. I'm resisting the urge to improve it 😅 I'm not even gonna reread before posting. It was originally reader insert but @dark-scape translated to reylo. Lmk if you want the reader insert version instead and that can be arranged.
Rey visually undresses him.  He inhales through his strong nose, meets her gaze, and cocks an eyebrow: “Now that’s an idea."   He sinks all the way back into the cushions, his huge palms on his thighs, as if to take in the moment with a subtle, satisfied smile.  He then abruptly sits back up and starts unbuttoning his shirt.  As if on command.
Rey drives through the streets of Jakku. It's a chilly day, but bright for mid December. The sun is in her eyes, but the drive isn't long enough to commit to finding her sunglasses. As she turns into a parking lot, she sees the cafe next door is open and realizes it will be the perfect day to grab her favorite nutmeg butternut squash soup with their signature green tea bread if she can make it out of the hardware store before the lunch rush really picks up. This is a rare opportunity because the cafe's hours are aligned to typical office job hours when she’s normally across town.
Rumor has it the hardware store is locally-owned now, and she wonders how much it’s changed. She's taken a vacation day to finish some holiday shopping and errands, and thought of an easy home improvement project last night to spruce up Finn and Poe’s house while she housesits and takes care of their cat Bebe. She wants to fix the dimmer for the light above their kitchen table. The knob has been missing for awhile now, and even when you twist the naked peg, the lights don't dim, so she assumes the bulbs aren’t the right kind. She figures she can fix this with a new plastic knob, a 4-pack of dimmable LED lights, and five minutes of labor. She can finish it off with a little red bow on the new dial. This will be a nice surprise and will also give her an excuse to procrastinate her other errands.
Turns out, not much has changed. She clip-clops through the sliding doors in her warmest boots and still sees orange aprons with names hand-written in sharpie. She immediately locates the light bulbs and spends a few minutes longer than necessary deciding which pack to get. She looks at her phone and sees she has about ten minutes until the lunch rush, so it's time to find the other item she needs, the knob.
She looks up and sees a worker. He's wearing a dark gray jacket over his apron, and what looks like a lighter gray hoodie under it. It isn’t that cold in here, she thinks . She almost leaves him alone, but something on his apron catches her eye. She can't see the name, but barely sees the edge of an expertly doodled death star. Bold choice.
He's got a nice head of dark hair, chin length, tapered around his face, but out of the way enough to see his eyes are brown. He runs his hand through his hair over the top of his crown as though slicking it back, then some of the strands fall back down. His face is a mix of heart and square shaped with a masculine jaw and strong nose. He has the stubble of a mustache and soul patch but no beard.
He has beauty marks, so many. How many? Are they just on his face or all over? He has an enviously clear complexion and looks like he tans easily. He's kind of tall, but not looming, maybe because his head is bowed slightly as he lifts a crate of lightbulb boxes and begins to unpack it. He seems athletic, hard to tell with what he's wearing. He has a youthful vibe but isn't exactly boyish.
He carries himself like he knows more or less what he's doing, but doesn't take the job too seriously. Rey imagines he wouldn't be the best candidate to tell her how to do a project, but he must know the aisles at least. She doesn't like to be a bother, but hopes it's an easy enough question, and he's standing right there. He can tell she’s about to ask him something and looks up. The whites of his eyes are clear and sparkly. Rey wonders if hers would be like that if she blinked more, which leads to her unintentionally fluttering her lashes.
She finally says, close to a whisper, “Can I ask you something?” I asked… if I can ask him something. She groans inwardly.
She isn’t prepared for the gentle baritone voice he responds with, "Yeah. Sure."
"Uh, where can I find the light switches and dimmers?"
"AISLE 39. I think. Here, I'll show you." He sounds about twice as old as he looks. Those few words he speaks are enough to flip a switch in Rey.  Her heart is melting at the same time her mind is racing. She can't tell for sure because he’s so bundled up, but she imagines he has strong arms and is in great shape based on the vascularity of his hands as he holds his barcode reader. He's working in the middle of the school day so he's got to be at least 18, not that he looks any younger, but Rey tends to think in worst case scenarios. Realistically, she would peg him for mid-twenties, but his voice sounds at least two decades older.
He walks her to aisle 39 and stops. She thanks him for his help, and as she turns to walk in the direction he pointed, she realizes she’s slightly blushing and she’s been silent. She doesn't want her shyness to come off as cold, so she makes eye contact and lets a little smile sprout from the left corner of her mouth across her lips, small but beaming. She hopes it doesn't come off as a smirk or make him self conscious. She can't tell whether he's the self conscious type.
She figures she can find the item herself from here, and doesn't think to ask him about the specific product. She wanders nearly all the way down the aisle, but after several minutes of searching (albeit distractedly), Rey is relieved to see him come back with another customer. He's helping a man find a specific thing, not a whole aisle. She’s jealous, even though it was her own fault not to ask. She hopes he sticks around and asks her if she found everything okay, but when he's done with the other customer it seems like he's about to leave.
She quickly approaches him. “Can I- can I ask for your help again?” Asking to ask again. Do I always sound this ridiculous? She tells him about the dimmer she’s looking for, which is apparently called a rotary switch.
To her surprise and delight, he talks far more than he needs to about rotary switches. His dark velvet voice is lulling Rey half into a fantasy while she struggles to continue listening to his words. He repeats almost every word she says back to him coolly and casually. And these aren't complicated concepts. She isn’t sure if he's practicing an active listening technique from sales training or is simply aware of his effect on women. Or his effect on her. She stands inches from him and looks into his eyes. She wonders to what extent her white cheeks have bloomed into roses under her freckles and given her away.
"You need a dimmer?" He looks her in the eyes, but she’s transfixed on every flex of his jaw and twitch of his lip as he talks.
"Yes, but just the knob, not the whole thing,” she says.
He nods thoughtfully then confirms, "So you just need the plastic part?"
“Right, there’s still a stick you can use to turn it, but it’s naked,” Rey confirms. She pulls her phone out of her back pocket to show him what kind of set-up the panel has and what part she needs.
"So on the panel there's an up-down switch, and a rotary dimmer."
“Yeah." She shows him the knob on the store's app and says, "I think the dimmer part is in stock.”
He replies "Oh, it says aisle 2?" He looks in that direction like he’s trying to remember what’s in aisle 2. He must be new.
"No, we’re in the right aisle. It's wrong on the preview page, but if you click into it you can see," she explains.
"Oh, ok. This is what you need though?" He locks eyes with Rey.
Just like that, she’s imagining him taking off his apron and hoodie at the end of the day, revealing meaty biceps that want to burst out of a black, soft washed t-shirt. Running his large hand through his hair. Flexing those beautiful arms as he peels off the shirt. A smooth torso with hard pecs, scant chest hair. At the thought of this, the left half of her bottom lip starts to creep under her left front teeth, and he cracks a smile for the first time, from the right side of his mouth, almost like a mirror image to Rey’s. His teeth are pretty but unassuming. They're close to white and not overly straight.
Her cheeks grow warmer and she looks away, responding to his question with a slight nod, which she hopes doesn’t read as hesitant, before resuming eye contact. “Yeah,” she quietly confirms.
"But you don't need the regular switch, right?" He speaks with a relaxed beat, not rushing the conversation to its end.
"Uh-huh."
He's speaking low and soft and looks back and forth between Rey’s eyes, not at the screen they’re both supposedly studying. "You just need the dimmer."
"Yeah." She feels like this is being drawn out to the point of overkill, but she’s not complaining.
"And you only need the plastic part." Every time he speaks is like music.
"Yeah," she confirms, barely audible, with a smile.
He continues to search her eyes and she repeats, "Yeah."
For a brief moment, he seems to gaze at Rey as lustily as she knows she is looking at him before he gathers his thoughts. She feels self conscious and suspects by the amount that he’s talking he must know the spellbinding effect his voice has on her. But if that's the case, she supposes there’s no harm that could come from him knowing it.
"Okay, let’s go over here," he says as he leads her back to where she started at the front of the aisle. "I think I see it.” He crouches down to get something from the bottom shelf.
"That’s it!" Rey says with a grin.
She feels bad for not crouching down with him. She’s always self conscious of making people do too much work, but then she also doesn’t want to make it awkward by taking over. So it's not that she expects him to serve her, she’s just frozen. He starts to pull the small product off the metal rods. It's the exact one she’d shown him on her phone, but she notices a better color next to it. Rey squats down and as she looks at the package to the right of the one he's holding, he almost looks disappointed that he didn't pick the exact unit she needed.
She says, "This one is even better, it'll match the old yellowed white." As she slides the package toward her, her right thumb almost imperceptibly brushes his left hand which is still holding the other package. She hasn’t even thought about his package yet, but the lightest brush of his skin is enough to short Rey’s circuits. She gets nervous and stands up, thanks him twice with a genuine smile and that's all she can do.
"No problem," he says, and that's all. As Rey watches him walk away, she feels an odd desperation to hear his voice again. She thinks about making up another question and recording him with an app. Is that creepy? It’s a little creepy, but not full-blown creepy, right? It isn't an option to never hear his voice again. She briefly glances around and he's nowhere in sight. She gets a hold of herself and makes her way to the self checkout line and pays.
Scanning the parking lot as she leaves, Rey wonders which car is his. When she gets to her car, she realizes she doesn’t have her keys. She sheepishly walks back inside and grabs her keys and receipt from the self-checkout terminal she just used. She looks at the receipt - “Ben’s Hardware”. So it did change ownership. She feels someone watching her from the aisle straight ahead, but tries to play it cool. She smiles and shakes her head in disbelief as she turns around and leaves, heart pounding.
Rey forgets all about the soup she was going to get and drives on autopilot to the house to install the dimmer and bulbs. What was that back there? When did I become so shy? It’s been a long time since she’s felt a visceral longing for someone, too. She can feel the animal inside of her awakening from a years-long slumber. She isn’t worried about it, she welcomes it. It’s tame. She has the maturity and experience to stay in control.
She pulls into the broken driveway and parks under the carport. Bebe runs to greet her and Rey bends down to pet her when she opens the car door. This should be an easy but impactful little project. She enters the kitchen, and takes the rotary dial out, dismissing a ridiculous passing thought that she should have bought the white one, too, because he touched it.  She tears the packaging open and holds the off-white plastic rotary dial in her hand, smiling as she remembers all the ways he described it.
She raises the cream plastic dial to the light switch panel and glances at its underside, confirming it’s compatible.  The unsheathed rotary peg juts out from the panel in anticipation. She holds the dial by its outer edge, aligning its hole with the peg, and gently eases the peg inside.  The dial slides all the way on and snaps into place. It sticks out a little far from the wall, but it works.  Then she unscrews the light bulbs in the cheap chandelier one by one and replaces them with the dimmable ones she bought.
Finally, the moment of truth - she presses the rotary dial, which turns on the lights, but when she rotates the dimmer, it dims nothing. The dimmer wiring itself might not be LED compatible. Of course. It looks like she’ll have to go back to the store, but not today. She does her shopping and begrudgingly runs errands, and finishes off her day with a warm cup of rooibos.
When she gets in bed, her mind drifts back to Him. She’s dying to hear his voice again. He was so calm, aloof, but somehow radiating power. She interprets it as sexual energy, but she wonders if she’s just seeing what she wants to see. To keep his voice in her mind, she imagines him narrating, “So. This is your bed… we’re going to use an extra blanket tonight, because it’s cold.” She feels ridiculous. But when she drifts off to sleep, there he is.
***
Rey is in a living room, but not hers.  It’s a subtle mid-century style with huge windows and modern touches.  It’s dimly lit with a fire roaring behind a glass.  He’s slouched on a stool at a wet bar, drinking something on the rocks.  He’s wearing black slacks, a form-fitting charcoal button-up shirt, untucked, with the cuffs unbuttoned.  He has one foot on a rung of the stool and another with its heel on the ground as he looks at his glass.
He looks at Rey and puts down the glass.  “Drink?” he asks, standing up to go around the other side of the bar.  Rey watches him.  “Whisky? Wine? Water?” he asks, while filling a glass of water.   “I’m fine,” she replies.  He puts the glass of water down on the smooth granite in front of a second stool that’s still tucked under the bar.  As he walks out from behind the bar, he lets his fingers graze the leather seat of the closest stool.  Rey notices he’s shoeless, wearing black and gray argyle socks.  Why is he so quiet?
Right on cue, he says, “Well, you’re here.  What do you want to do?” It’s so vivid.  Rey is frozen and says nothing.  Her heartbeat quickens.  He paces patiently.  There’s a teal sectional facing the fireplace.  The living room has soft carpet that feels new under her bare feet.  He walks across the living room, crossing into It a breakfast nook with an oak table.  Behind the kitchen table, he reaches for the wall and lightly touches a conspicuously cheap looking dial that dims the room further.   He comes back toward Rey, and pauses between the breakfast nook and living room. There’s a cabinet separating the spaces, about the same height as the kitchen table.  It has a record player and a box of records sitting on top of it.
He approaches the record cabinet, which is about hip height to him.  He’s facing Rey, with the cabinet and the entire living room in between them.  With a casual stretch of one leg, he spreads his feet to lower himself a little and look at the records. He rolls up his sleeves, glancing up at her with his tan forearms flexing.  He thumbs through the vinyl records, which appear to have no words on the covers.  He has his head down, his hair has fallen slightly in his face, and he’s glancing up at Rey every few seconds as he thumbs through the box.
He starts reading out the names of records, and her butterflies intensify at the low rumble of his voice. “Led Zeppelin III,” “Some Girls,” “Get Behind Me Satan,” “Ocean’s 11,” “Travis” “John Wick 2”  The foliage outside rustles gently against the window.  The next time he looks up at her, he doesn't look back down.  It’s an expectant gaze as though to see if the sound of his voice was effective.  She squirms a little and blushes.  He holds her gaze, squints slightly, and smiles a little.  He’s finished going through the records.  He doesn’t put anything on the record player, but a song she likes starts playing anyway.  Think, by Kaleida.
He gives Rey a mischievous, inquisitive look, and runs his hand through his hair as he walks over to the sectional. He takes a seat and hinges forward at the hip, putting his elbows on his knees and clasping his hands together.  She admires the shape of his forearms.  He raises his clasped hands upright and sets his chin on them playfully, his biceps straining his sleeves as he meets her eyes.  He says, “Well, here we are at my place,” which she doubts.  Rey doesn’t know what she expects his place is like in reality, but it isn’t this refined.  He chuckles, removing his elbows from his knees and resuming a more grown-up posture. With arched brows and an otherwise straight face, he says, “Really.” His brows relax again.  “What do you feel like doing?”  His voice floods every inch of her body with a yearning to be touched.
She doesn’t know how to answer him.  She doesn’t know how she got there or what’s going on, but the combination of his voice, eye contact, and arms are enough for Rey to begin visually undressing him.  He inhales through his strong nose, meets her gaze, and cocks an eyebrow: “Now that’s an idea."   He sinks all the way back into the cushions, his palms on his thighs, as if to take in the moment with a subtle, satisfied smile.  He then abruptly sits back up and starts unbuttoning his shirt.  As if on command. . . Holy shit, Rey thinks.  She realizes this is a dream. She’s lucid.  It’s like a 5-d game where she can feel everything.    In theory, she can do whatever she wants.  What she really wants at this moment is to straddle him.
He glances down between his legs and coolly says, “sit anywhere you want.”  She feels observed, even though he isn’t real.  She walks over to the sectional and perches next to him on the edge of its velvet cushion. She feel herself getting wet.  She’s wearing a gray stretch miniskirt–something she wouldn’t have picked out for herself–black leggings, and a green cardigan with no undershirt.  He finishes unbuttoning his shirt and discards it on the floor.  She sees exactly what she’d pictured earlier - a strong physique, his lightly bronzed arms straining against a soft washed t-shirt.  “What’s your name,” he asks, and she feel a warmth growing between her legs.     She tells him, “Rey.”  “Rey,” he repeats, and she fruitlessly responds, “What’s yours?”
He sighs and gazes around wistfully, “Her name is Rey.”  Then his eyes are back on her.  He places a large hand softly on her knee.  Electrified, she reciprocates.   It’s not real, she reminds herself.  She can do anything.  The guy from the store will never know.  She dares to run her hand a few inches up his quad and give his muscle a light squeeze.  He exhales with the slightest little groan,  “yeah,” and moves his hand to the small of back to urge her closer.  She’s sitting next to him but facing him now, left leg folded under her, working her right hand up his quad.
The expanse of his thigh dwarfs her pale fingers on his black pants as she leans forward and lets her heel nestle between her legs to relieve some tension.  A tsunami of tingling deep inside her spreads through her breasts.  She grips his thigh for support, and lifts herself just barely,  intending to bring the inner crook of one knee up over his closest leg in a cuddly way while remaining seated on the couch.  A tent in his pants catches her eye and her skin starts to burn with urgency.  If she moves too quickly, she wonders if she could startle herself awake.
As Rey raises her leg, he brings his far hand to it, gently coaxing her to move all the way onto his lap.  Her skirt rides up over her ass as she follows his lead.  He seizes one buttock in each hand, gives them a gentle squeeze, and takes a deep breath.  She is overcome with arousal and takes her own deep breath, shuddering and blinking slowly as she exhales. Her legs are now spread wide open straddling his lap, but she’s hovering and hasn’t put her weight on him yet.  Her head is a little higher than his in this position.  He bows his head and nuzzles his nose into her cardigan between her breasts, closing his eyes and taking in her scent.
Rey’s modest chest is heaving against his face and he cradles her with both arms as she breathes.  She places her hands gently on his shoulders, and slowly moves them inward to fondle the hair at the nape of his neck.  She twirls a lock around her finger contemplatively, but she’s still hovering.  His arms are under hers with his face still in her sweater.  He drags his nose up to her neck and she feels her cardigan unbutton, exposing a lace bra, which is fastened in the front.  He looks up at her and reiterates in an intimate whisper, “you can sit anywhere you want.”
Rey could tell from his breathing what would await her in his lap.  Her leggings were already soaked.  One by one, she scooted her knees closer to the back of the couch on either side of his expansive torso and let her weight down.  She is now truly straddling him, her inner thighs and the intimate seam of her warm, moist leggings fully embracing his arousal.  Her wetness spread through her leggings and into his pants.  His lumber swells against her, pulsing into her aching nub.  “Yeah,” he breathes.  “Right here.” She leans forward to feel his full length, which spans from her privates to her belly button as he thrusts against her.
Over the course of a few blissful seconds, she feels his erection press harder against her, slide upward, then come back down, and repeat.  His mouth finds her neck, then her mouth.  She accept his lips hungrily and grinds back in rhythm.  Her lips pull away as pleasure shoots through her gut and breasts.  She leans her head back and gasps.  He moves his way back down to her heart, nuzzling his nose along her neck then planting a kiss on her collar bone, another kiss on her breast.
Then his teeth lightly pinch her skin as they find the front of her bra.  He looks up at her as the clasp flies open and her breasts are free.  Her hard nipples are framed loosely by her dangling bra and the top half of her cardigan which is still buttoned, only at the bottom.  She’s still wearing leggings, but his cock feels too good to leave it for even one moment to undress further.  She continues to slowly grind against him as he moves one hand to her breast, keeping the other behind her for support.  He palms one breast, lightly at first, grazing her nipple with the heel of his palm, then softly cups the whole breast, enveloping it in his large hand as he continues to slowly thrust into her warmth  He uses his free hand to bring her close enough to kiss her other breast.
Rey is burning up now.  He undoes the last two buttons of her cardigan and she lets it fall off her shoulders, discarding her bra at the same time.  She reaches down to the hem of his shirt and slides four curled fingers underneath it.  He helps her take it off, and she takes in the sight of his shredded torso.  His right pec has a scar.  She traces it with her thumb.  His pecs are so hard.  As she explores him, they continue grinding, then he gives a more emphatic thrust, like his cock cannot physically get close enough to her.  She reaches between their loins and strokes his arousal through his pants, tracing the outline of his cock in detail.  His pants are damp and shiny from her leggings and with a wetter spot of his own.
Rey needs him badly.  He isn’t wearing a belt.  She frantically searches for his button and zipper and carefully frees him. She holds, and beholds, the glorious, veiny shaft that lands in her hand.  She savors the feeling of its soft skin as it throbs in her hand.  “You. . . are a vision,” he murmurs into her chest, which is exactly what she was thinking about his package.  She moves her thumb to the head of his cock, collects a bead of precum, and swirls around the head affectionately.  Her brows furrow with want.   He holds her tighter, closing the gap between them.  He begins thrusting again, hard and slow.  Rey grinds her throbbing warmth against his lower shaft while her hand is still in between them.
She feels the spine of her groin twitching and knows she’s close.  She takes a deep breath and lets a sharper pleasure overtake her chest and groin.  Her breath quickens as she nears her peak.  She still has her leggings on. He reaches his broad hands into the back of her leggings, taking one buttcheek in each hand and moves her up and down against him.  “I need you,” he breathes. They look into each other’s eyes and there’s something wild in his pupils, something dark, like a warm, black hole, drawing her in.  “Take me,” she says.  He reaches a hand behind her neck to cradle her head, and they gaze at each other, breathing, grinding.  Then he pulls her face decisively to his.
Rey inhales through her nose as their lips meet hungrily. He kisses her hard, too messily to  seal their mouths together, leaving his lower lip between her lips as he draws in a deep breath through his mouth.   He then closes his lips on her upper lip, his teeth and tongue slightly grazing it.  Half his mouth opens into hers, the other halves of their mouths still breathing heavily.
He shifts her slightly upward, wraps her around his waist, and she feels the head of his rock hard cock aggressively nuzzling her clit, up and down.  His tongue finds hers and she lets it brush against her teeth.  When she pulls away for a moment, he looks her in the eyes. They’re both moving faster now, and  as they’re about to come, she folds herself into him, sliding her lips down his chin to his neck and opening her mouth, breathing against his skin.
His thumb finds her most sensitive place and one touch sends her over the edge.  The pleasure is almost too much to bear.  Her ass clenches as ecstacy blooms from her groin, her nipples, her ears, and deep within her gut.  Muscles she didn’t even know she had shudder in release, and he wraps his arms tight around her, thrusting to the beat of her orgasm.  She rides wave after wave, pulsating against his cock, and as another wave swells he groans, and she feels his cock begin its own contractions, intensifying hers.
Rey’s mouth is open against his neck and she’s breathing into his skin and as he unleashes a huge lode of cum, between them, soaking through her leggings, and gluing their clothes together.  Her canines dig harmlessly into the side of his neck – she can’t resist –  then she brings her lips to the flesh and seals it with a kiss.   She collapses into him, loosely hugging him with her legs, and the two of them just breathe.  Then he tightens his arms around her in a hug, and she looks up. She sees the mark of her teeth on his neck, and remembers no one else will see it.  This isn’t real.
She nuzzles her head into her mark and blinks her eyelashes against his skin.   He sighs slowly through his nose, then she feel the vibrations of his voice against her face as he says, “You are… remarkable.”  She lies there breathing for a few minutes and he wraps them both in a cream, cable-knit throw.  She falls asleep in his arms and wakes up in her own bed, marveling at how a dream can make one feel like they’ve experienced someone so intimately.  She hadn’t had a lucid dream in years.  She absently scratches an itch between her breasts and wonders how she can be sure to dream of him again tonight.  Was it the rooibos, or the sheer will of her want?

I Can Feel You
Pairing: Ben Solo x Rey
Words: 3.7K
Summary/Prompt: Rey and Ben share a force bond that made them closer than anyone else. Leia has a mission to send Rey on, and Ben has his reservations about this mission.
A/N: I haven't posted on this blog/anywhere in like.. 5ish years so pls be kind.
Tumblr media
“Ben, I would like you to meet someone.” His mother says, guiding him closer to him. I look back nervously at my parents who give me a reassuring smile. A boy, quite a bit taller than I am, turns around and his eyes move from General Leia to myself. A nervous smile falls on his face before he returns his gaze to his mother. “This is Rey. Her parents brought her here to escape the First Order’s grasp of their planet. I’m hoping that you would be willing to keep her company while I show them around?”
Something flashes on his face, fear? Before you can attempt to place it, it’s gone. “Um. Yes I can do that, mother.” He says politely, clasping his hands in front of him. “Welcome Rey.” He gives you a kind smile, and steps to the side, allowing you access to the building behind him. “This is where I do my Jedi training, would you like to come inside?”
Your eyes light up hearing that he is a Jedi. “You’re a Jedi?” You practically shout at him, struggling to hold back the excitement. Your parents had told you stories of the Jedi, long ago there were so many Jedi that they were seen as the peace keepers of the galaxy. They had different colored lightsabers, and could even more things with their mind.
“I am. So is my mother, and uncle.” He beams proudly, looking between me and his mother.
“Why don’t you two go inside, and I’ll be with your parents, Rey.” General Leia suggests. I nod excitedly and run into the building, Ben following behind.
The room didn’t look quite like I had expected, there weren’t any lightsabers inside or anything huge that a Jedi could move with their mind. It was a large open room, made of some type of stone. The walls are lined with tapestries with symbols I don’t recognize “What do you do in here?” I ask, turning to face Ben again. “This isn’t really what I thought it would look like.” You admit, hoping not to offend him.
“I can show you?” He offers, excitement oozing behind the offer. “I’ve never really shown anyone besides my parents and my uncle.” I see his hand hovering over something attached to his belt, but he makes no move to show me. “But only if you want.” He blurts out, suddenly sounding nervous.
“I would love that!” I cheer, clapping my hands together excitedly. “What can you do?” Just as the words leave my lips, he grabs the item on his belt and presses a button. A blue lightsaber coming to life in front of my very eyes.
“Watch this.” He boasts. Three balls I hadn’t even seen sitting on the ground come to life, and surround Ben. He closes his eyes and takes a breath before the balls start shooting at him. Suddenly, I’m filled with fear for the boy in front of me. But he doesn’t miss a beat, each shot is easily blocked by his lightsaber.
I can’t help but feel proud of the boy standing in front of me. I could have never imagined someone capable of something so impossible, but here he is doing it. “That is amazing!” I cheer, watching him block with ease. Even when the balls start moving around he moves with them, not a single shot making contact with anything but his lightsaber.
After a few minutes of this the balls stop firing shots at him, and he opens his eyes and they finally meet mine for the first time in several minutes. “Ben that is amazing! I’ve never seen anything like that before.” I run over to him, and suddenly feel the urge to hug him. But I know that’s not appropriate for someone he just met.
The biggest smile I’ve ever seen is plastered on his face “I didn’t miss a single one.” He states “I’ve never done that before, normally I miss at least a few!” A sense of pride fills my chest, and I can’t help but hug the boy in front of me. Surprisingly, he hugs me back.
A burst of electricity bolts though me, and I pull away from him unsure what that feeling had been. He stares at me bewilderment written all over his face. “Did you feel that?” I ask, taking a step back, unsure what to make of the situation before me. He nods, but says nothing. “What was that? Did you do it?” Fear is coursing through my entire body. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I’ve never felt anything like that.
“I didn’t do anything.” He defends himself, “Are you okay? Did it hurt you?” He begins looking me over, as if to make sure I’m unharmed.
“Uh-” I think for a second taking account of my body “I don’t think so. I mean, it didn’t hurt. It just-” I pause to think again “I wasn’t expecting it I guess. Did it hurt you?” I question.
“No. It didn’t hurt. I don’t think.” He pauses thinking for a moment “Can you use the force?” His serious tone makes me laugh. Use the force, yeah right! His jaw drops, and he takes a small step away from me.
“What?” I question, not sure what caused the fear. “What did you figure out what that was?”
“I heard your voice.” He tells me, “But your lips didn’t move.”
“What did I say?” I question, this whole situation confusing me more and more by the passing second. What in the galaxy could be going on?
“You said ‘Use the force, yeah right.’” He quotes my thoughts from moments before. “You are using the force.” I want to laugh at his statement, but wouldn’t a Jedi know better than me about the force?
“I can’t use the force.” I demand, not wanting him to be right. But why? Why don’t I want him to be right?
“Because it’s new.” He whispers, stepping closer to me. “Will you try something? It will prove me wrong if it’s not the force.” I nod, not trusting my voice enough to speak. Anything to prove him wrong. I know I can’t use the force, I used to try when I was little and nothing happened then.
“Come sit with me for a minute.” He takes my hand, and leads me to the other side of the large room to soft looking mats. I follow his lead and sit next to him on a mat, making sure to sit like he is. “We’re going to meditate, do you know how to do that?”
“Don’t you just sit there and breathe?” I ask, wondering how hard that could really be.
“Well, that’s the idea.” He chuckles, but shaking his head. “But there is more to it than that. You breathe yes, but you also need to focus. Focus on the energy around you. Can you try that for me?” It doesn’t sound very hard, so I might as well give it a try.
“Yeah I can do that. Are you going to be doing it too?” I ask, hoping he will so he wont be watching me do this. He nods, but doesn’t say anything else fore closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. I decide to follow his lead, and do the same.
At first it doesn’t really feel like I’m doing anything, I just feel a warm breeze coming from the open windows beside us. Maybe I’m not trying hard enough? I shake my head and take another deep breath, resting my palms on my knees like Ben had.
After a few seconds of breathing slowly I start to feel a pull, wondering if it’s what Ben was talking about I give into the pull. Before I know what is happening, I feel like I am seeing something outside of my body. I realize what I’m seeing is the skyline of the city my parents had brought us to. Suddenly I’m seeing a beautiful garden, overflowing with flowers. Then people, but not any two people, it’s us.
I am sitting next to Ben, matching his pose exactly, both of us breathing in unison. That’s when I feel it, the electricity I felt earlier when we had touched. This time it wasn’t so shocking, it felt soothing, like you were safe, home.
“What are you two up to?” A voice calls from a far away place. But it was enough to pull me from the warmth, and I instantly yearned for it to come back to me. I open my eyes and see my mother standing in front of me. I take a look at Ben, wondering if he felt the warmth that I had felt. His eyes were locked on me, and I felt a tiny bit of that warmth again. “Rey?” My mother asks, worry filling her voice.
I turn my attention to my mother, finally realizing that we were no longer alone. “Sorry, I’m okay. Uh-” I shake my head, attempting to gather my thoughts and realize she hadn’t asked if I was okay. “We were meditating. Like the Jedi do.” I tell her, hoping that that somehow made up for my scatterbrain.
“Did you enjoy that?” She questions, smiling between the two of us. I nod up at her, wishing she would leave so that I could go back to the warm place with Ben.
---
“Rey.” A voice whispers from beside me. “Rey, wake up we are going to be late.” My eyes shoot open and I turn to look at Ben who is still in bed next to me, but clearly more awake than I am. “Good morning.” He beam, brushing a few strands of hair out of my face.
“Good morning.” I whisper back to him. “How late did I sleep in today?” I take a glance at the clock on the wall noticing it’s already eight in the morning. “Ben! You turned off my alarm?” I jump out of bed, narrowly missing the stand beside the bed.
“Hey! I didn’t turn anything off, someone forgot to turn their alarm on last night.” He laughed, getting out of bed, with more grace than I had ever possessed in my life. “Don’t worry, we don’t have to be there until nine this morning. My mother had a meeting start about half an hour ago, I knew we would have enough time to get ready so I let you sleep in.” He defended himself, following me to the closet.
I shuffle through my uniforms, looking for the newest one General Leia had given me not two days ago. “Where is it?” I huff, not finding the right one. I turn around and see Ben holding it up on the hanger I had taken out last night for this exact reason. “Oh.” I mumble in embarrassment, taking the hanger from him and giving him a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” He laughs, and starts looking through the closet for the outfit he wants to wear today. He is one of the lucky few that can get away without wearing a uniform around base as everyone knows who he is. The rest of us have identification attached to our uniforms. I probably could get away with not wearing my uniform at this point, but it felt wrong not wearing the same clothing my co-workers wore.
After ten years with the Resistance, a large portion of that dating the General’s son, I was about as well known as they were. It still didn’t make it fair to not need the same clothing as everyone else. Even General Leia wears her identification, which if I’m being honest it a large part of why I continue to wear mine. Ben can tell me as often as he wants that it’s not needed, but I’ll never not wear it.
I take my time in the bathroom this morning, trying to get my hair just right and making sure my makeup covers the stress acne that’s been showing up since I started my new job. Being in charge of over thirty undercover rebels is a taxing job, but one I wouldn’t trade for the world. General Leia had gotten me the job, despite her wanting me to train more with Ben and Luke, I knew I was needed on base more than off training.
After around twenty minutes in the bathroom, I step out and see Ben waiting for me a huge grin covering his face. “I like when you wear your hair like that.” He pulls me into a hug, and places a few kisses on my neck. “It reminds me of the day I met you. You were wearing it like that then.” I wrap my arms around him, enjoying his touch thinking about the dream I had the night before.
“I dreamt of that day last night.” I tell him, smiling at the memory. The feeling I felt that day meditating with him had only grown over the years. We had met in secret for several months, meditating together and even practicing talking to each other through the force a few times before being caught by General Leia.
She was of course the first person to realize what was going on between us, she could feel the connection between us and got my parents permission to meet her brother, Luke. He had confirmed what General Leia had suspected, that Ben and I share a force bond something that isn’t commonly found between force users.
I trained with Master Luke a handful of times over the years, but I was never truly comfortable with him. He had never been shy about telling General Leia I was a distraction to Ben, even going so far as to ask her to take him off world permanently to separate us. Luckily she never saw our bond that way, she always helped us strengthen our bond, and eventually she became my mentor in the ways of the force.
She made it clear to my parents and I in the beginning that she could only teach me so much as she wasn’t as trained in the ways of the force as Master Luke, but she knew I felt safer with her and that’s what matters.
“One of the best days of my life.” Ben mumbles still holding me close to his body. “I will never forget that day.” His fingers begin playing with one of my braids and I take this moment to breathe before the long day ahead of me.
Mine too. I think making sure he could hear me through the force. It’s not often I choose to talk to him through the force, but some times it’s easier. “We have to get going now, don’t we?” I ask, not really wanting to leave, but knowing that being late to a meeting with his mother wouldn’t look good for me.
“Mhm.” he murmurs, slowly pulling away from me. “Let’s get you there, Admiral.” He laughs, knowing I dislike my official title, or rather when he uses it.
“Don’t call me that!” I slap his chest and start for the door. “You know I don’t like it.”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” He puts his hands up in mock defense, following me out the door. “But you’re just too cute when you’re embarrassed.” My face turns red as Lieutenant Connix rounds the corner and smirks, obviously hearing our conversation.
“Good morning Admiral Rey, Master Solo.” Kaydel nods her head at both of us as she passes. We returned her greeting and kept walking.
Once she was out of ear shot I spin around and glare at Ben. Our relationship was well known by everyone, but that didn’t mean I liked making a show of it. “No more of that, I need to be taken seriously. I need to be more than the General’s son’s girlfriend.” I give him a pleading look, hoping that he will understand and not take this as me being ashamed of him.
No such luck. A pained look crossed his face for just a moment, but then as neutral as could be. “I understand, I’m sorry.” The quiver in his voice physically pained me, which could have been from the force bond if I’m being honest. Lately we’ve been able to feel each other's emotions as well as physical feelings.
“Ben.” I stop in the middle of the corridor and fully face him. “I didn’t mean it like that. You know how proud I am to be yours, but a few people feel as though I only got my position because I’m dating you. I want to be able to say confidently that I got this job on my own, not because of my personal relationships.”
I can’t help but think back to oveReyring Azah, another candidate for my position, telling her friends that the only reason I got my job was because I slept with the boss. As if Ben had any say so over who his mother hired, anyone with a brain knew General Leia would never decide something so important based on who is dating her son. If it were that simple there wouldn’t have been candidates, I would have just been given the job no questions asked.
“Who said that to you?” His mood shifted so suddenly it almost scared me, but I realized instantly that I had been projecting my feelings, and thoughts which let Ben hear what Azah had said. “Nobody gets to speak to you like that!” He demanded.
“Ben, it’s not that big of a deal. I can handle myself. Besides, she didn’t say it to me. I just oveReyrd her complaining to her friends after I was given the job.” Calming him down when it comes to me is no easy task, he has always been protective of me, sometimes to a fault. But when it comes to this job I need to be able to take care of myself, or nobody will take me seriously.
“It is a big deal. Anyone with that kind of mindset has no business working for my mother, not only is that moronic thinking derogatory in terms of my mother and her capabilities as a General, but you. Nobody gets to speak about you like that.” His anger was radiating off him, literally. Anyone with eyes could see how angry he is, but I can feel the anger.
“Ben. You need to calm down, please. We are going to see your mother, if she sees you like this she will bring up sending you to your uncle again. Please calm down.” I’m doing my best to send calming energy to him, but he isn’t making it easy. General Leia had brought up a handful of times that she is worried about how quick he is to anger, and she thinks Master Luke would be able to help him with that, but what nobody not even General Leia understands is how much worst that would be for him.
The few times he had been sent, without me, to see his uncle his anxiety had been so bad that it usually took weeks for him to get back to his normal self once he was home. It kills me to see him like that, he is always so exhausted once he returns I can’t bear to see him like that again. “Please.” I beg him one more time, reaching my hand for his.
As soon as his hand was in mine it’s like the anger just vanished, he isn’t happy but the has clearly dissipated. “Thank you.” I whisper, smiling at him hoping to get one in return. Anything for you.
We make our way to General Leia’s office, and wait until she lets us inside. “Oh, Ben.” She smiles nervously “I hadn’t realized you would be joining Rey this morning.” She glances between us, like she has more to say but nothing comes out.
“Is it okay that I’m here? I’ve always accompanied Rey to her meetings with you.” He defends himself. I can feel a bout of anxiety building up in him, so I brush my hand against his. A subtle gesture I’m able to do to help calm him, most people don’t notice but of course his mother does.
“No of course you can join us. I just hadn’t thought about it I suppose.” She clearly took note of my gesture and knew what was going on, neither of us being able to be the cause of tension for him.
None of us say anything for a moment while we are getting situated in her office. After a minute she glances at me and gives me a look of pity. “What happened?” I ask instantly, knowing something was wrong.
“Nothing has happened.” She reassures me quickly “But I have something that I need you to do for me. I don’t trust anyone else enough with this.” Her glances between Ben and I only added to my nerves.
“Of course, anything for you. What do you need from me?” There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do to help the Resistance, especially for General Leia.
“We’ve gotten a hint at a possible base of operations for the First Order.” She tells us slowly, looking at Ben, presumably trying to gage his reaction to the mention of the First Order. Their leader, Snoke, had been trying to get his hands on Ben for several years now.
I nod, hoping she will continue. “The Kyuzo who is offering the information only knows limited basic, so we need someone who speaks Kyuzo. You are the only one I know, and trust, that speaks Kyuzo. Would you be willing to travel to meet him?” Her tone was almost pleading, as if I could say no to her. Even if I wanted to the idea of helping find a First Order base was too exciting to pass up.
“Why can’t he use a translator?” Ben demands, looking between his mother and I like we are insane. “They make those for a reason. Why would this Kyuzo only know enough basic to offer a hint, something isn’t adding up!”

I Knew You, Once
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Archive Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply Fandom: Star Wars Ship: Gen (Rey & Ben Solo, Poe & Rey, Leia & Rey) Additional Tags: Character Study, Relationship Study, Alternate Universe - Pre-Canon, Brother-Sister Relationships, Rey Needs A Hug, POV Rey (Star Wars), Kylo Ren is Not Nice, Young Ben Solo, Young Rey, Family, Angst, Attempt at Humor, One Shot, Ben Solo is Kylo Ren, Rey is a lesbian btw it's mentioned like once its important to me, Not Reylo, Growing Up Together, Betrayal, Force Bond (Star Wars) Wordcount: 1351 Podfic Length: 09:06 Summary:
Rey is the only one who never calls him Kylo Ren.
She understands why the others have to. They need to separate the man who is slaughtering defenseless villages and the boy who used to play hide-and-seek with her between the X-Wings. Leia can’t fight a war against her own son, but she can fight Kylo Ren. Han is trying to mourn him, and by mourn, Rey means he’s trying to forget that Kylo Ren exists. Luke, before he leaves, before he abandons them, calls him Kylo Ren because that’s the name he was given when he fell to the Dark Side and only when he finds the light again can he become Ben Solo.
To Rey, that’s all bullshit. Kylo Ren is just a mask, and if you took it off, Ben would still be there, staring back at you.
So, she never calls him that, not in meetings with the resistance, not when talking to the General, not when Poe is saying goodbye on his next mission and she is saying back, “Be careful. Ben almost caught you last time.” When she feels resentful, she likes to think she’s taking away his power, the glamour of the Dark Side he’s used to disguise the fact that he used to just be a man. When she’s so sad she can barely talk or leave her room, she likes to imagine that Luke is right, and that every time she says his name, she’s bringing him back, just a little.
She still dreams of him. Not the monster he’s become, but the boy she grew up with. They used to be inseparable. She’d start a sentence, and he would finish it, and they’d both grin like they’d planned the whole thing. They dashed through crowds without ever losing track of each other, pulled pranks on Poe that left all three of them laughing, and always had each other’s backs. They hid away in the Falcon, Rey fumbling with a mechanical puzzle box Luke had gifted her when she turned twelve, and Ben with his ‘serious’ face on that he thought made him look more adult. It kind of made her want to throw the toy at him.
“Uncle Luke is going to train me to be a Jedi.” She nodded absently, and Ben frowned, annoyed. He reached out right as she had almost solved it, and the toy flew out of her hand and into his. She felt a protest form and die on her tongue when she realized what he’d done.
“That’s awesome!” Ben was at that age where the most important thing in the world was how cool he appeared to others, and when she held out her hand, he floated the toy back to her, carefully, brow furrowed in concentration. It took him weeks to perfect even that, but he never told her. He wanted it to seem effortless. Years later, when she’s trying to learn herself, she laments how easy it was for him, how she’ll never be as good, and Leia is eventually the one to tell her that the first time he tried to use the Force, he hit himself in the face with a rock he was trying to make hover.
“You could be one, too.” He leaned back, proud, already certain she’d be by his side. Because why wouldn’t she? Rey turned the box over in her hands. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do. She knew she could feel the Force, humming in the air around her and burning in her lungs when she and Ben got into a rare fight. If Ben could use it, so could she.
“Maybe,” she answered, finally. “Maybe, I’ll be a smuggler. And then I can come flying in to save you.” She’d been raised on the stories of the rebellion, most of them from Poe, who liked to embellish. For a moment, Ben scowled, but it vanished as quickly as it had come, and Rey wrote it off, like she did every time. She wishes she hadn’t. She wishes she’d seen the pattern long before it led him to the First Order, not because she could have stopped it, but because it would have saved her a lot of heartache to understand why he could turn on them. The Skywalker family legacy weighed down on him in a way she never experienced, and instead of letting go, growing beyond it, he let that resentment fester until all he wanted to do was tear apart the tapestry his mother and uncle wove out of a broken and divided galaxy.
He still hasn’t seen the irony in doing it all in Darth Vader’s name.
“Wait for me,” she’d told him firmly, on that last day before he left with Luke. “I’ll be ready soon. I’ll come join you. We can both be Jedi.” By then, she had made up her mind. Wherever Ben went, so did she. She thought it’d work the other way around, too. He hugged her, and he promised, said he would always wait for her. She had no reason not to believe him. Ben had spent his childhood with her running after him, three years younger and never as fast as him, but he’d always let her catch up. He’d always waited.
Until one day, he didn’t.
Rey woke up screaming, clutching the sides of her head like there were blaster bolts bouncing around inside it. She was screaming for Ben, begging him, trying to make him hear her and stop doing whatever was hurting her, hurting them. She’d never felt anything like that pain, and in the back of her mind, it still lingered, her senses dulled to it purely by how long it had been happening, but the first time was agony. She’d lived so long with Ben a part of her that she couldn’t have ever been prepared for him to try and rip them apart.
He almost killed Luke. He took the other students, killed the ones who wouldn’t follow him, and chose Snoke to be his new master. And he made Rey do it, too. She had nightmares through his eyes of tearing the school apart, the smell of a lightsaber cutting through flesh making her sick when she escaped the dream. She’s still not sure if Ben knew he was damning her with him, and she doesn’t care if it matters or not. He still did it. She’s still dreaming about it and every other monstrous thing he’s done.
That’s why when Leia says that there might still be Light in him, she laughs bitterly. She’s been in every corner of his head as he’s been in every corner of hers, and if there’s still a chance, she’s yet to find it. Poe, at least, understands. He watched Ben grow up too, if from another perspective, already an adult when the First Order rose to power. He’s the only one who knows she still has nightmares. She’s learned to muffle the screams. Poe doesn’t try to fill up the space Ben left, either, but he stays, tells her pilots’ gossip and makes terrible jokes and gives her tips on how to flirt with the other girls on base that he isn’t remotely qualified to give. Ben was her brother, or another piece of her soul, depends on who you ask, but Poe’s her friend, and that’s worked out much better for her so far.
Ben Solo is Kylo Ren is a monster and a murderer and a terror upon the galaxy and is still Ben. She wants to hate him, but can’t, and wonders if she could forgive him, but can’t, and wishes she could do what everyone else does and believe the mask he’s chosen and the name he’s been given and the lies he’s weaved around himself, but can’t. She’s going to have to face him one day, maybe even fight him, maybe even kill him, and she’s not sure if she can do that either. The worst part is that she misses him, even though he doesn’t deserve to be missed.
It would be so much easier if she could just kill Kylo Ren.

Rewatching the Sequels; some notes
The sequels do a good job of showing how brutal the First Order is in a way the original trilogy never showed. These are supposed to be space not-sees and the sequels were the first to display their cruelty
Watch the Stormtrooper Paradox on YouTube, it explains my shared gripe of the idea that First Order stormtroopers are child soldiers being brushed off.
Kylo Ren is cool idgaf what anyone says. Phasma is cool. Hux is cool. Pryce is cool. The Praetorian Guard are cool. If you disregard everything else about Snoke he's cool. Btw they wasted Smoke, it would have taken one writers' meeting to come up with something better.
I didn't like how the Mandalorian just took Baby Yoda out of the plot line I thought wrapped everything up nicely but now I realise if Baby Yoda stayed with Luke then the implication is Ren killed him so nvm :)
Dave Filoni's work is really helping bridge the gap between the original and sequel trilogies
The battle of Crait although just a rehash of Empire Strikes Back is too cool to discount
The fact that Poe, Finn, and Rose's plan was the reason nearly half of the transports heading to Crait were destroyed was really interesting. If they hadn't separated they wouldn't have met DJ, and DJ wouldn't have told the First Order the plan. I wish they'd have given some guilt to the characters tho.
Holdo's sacrifice is super cool but I'm not sure about the scientifics of it all.
Being in the way of that battering ram should have given Finn some nasty burns at the very least, it was melting through metal.
Are Force projections mental or visual?? Because Ben and Rey could see each other but I don't think Luke saw Ben in the hut, which means it would have to be mental. Also C3PO saw the projection..? Palpatine had to be connecting Rey and Ben, not Snoke. If someone as powerful as Luke died by projecting himself, then there's no way Snoke would have had the power to connect two entirely different people.
Kylo Ren should have seen that the projection was fake because Luke has his lightsaber, which he snapped in half just thirty minutes ago. It could be miswritten, but I see it as Ren being so enraged that he didn't notice.
I wish they wouldn't have killed Luke, but I thought they did it right. I cried rewatching it, and I've seen the movie three times before this.
"Snoke trained you well." "I killed Snoke. I'll kill you." "You killed Snoke? Damn that's a shame, well good thing I got a jar of them right here!"
I don't mind force healing and blaster freezing, I just wish they'd tuck it into the story more neatly.
They did Rose dirty in ROS
I know Jakku already existed in legends, but Pasaana could have easily been Jakku or Tattooine.
Was the C3PO disrespect supposed to be funny? It wasn't.
Zorii should have died, her surviving literally served no purpose to the story, in fact he death would have served it better.
Domhnall Gleeson's acting is some of the best I've seen in Star Wars.
Rey Palpatine is stupid. It would have been nicer if Rey was just a nobody who became special because of her actions and determination, not bloodline.
Kylo Ren being stabbed by Rey and surviving actually makes sense because I can imagine the wound would be cauterised long enough for Rey to heal it
I think it would have been a satisfactory end if Rey and Ben Solo died
Some people are Finn x Rey, some people are Finn x Rose, we all know the truth is Finn x Poe
It's a shame Daisy Ridley's career hasn't had much luck, she's a good actor.
Rey should have said "Just Rey" in response to the old woman. She's taking agency of her own identity and not letting it be based off what other people tell her. She's not a Solo, she's not a Skywalker, she's not a Palpatine, she's her own person now.
The sequels just seem like they would have been better written by someone on AO3. They're not abysmally terrible, it's just hard to look past their shortcomings. The music, acting, and animation are the best parts.

Hi! Could I request a Kylo Ren/Ben Solo x Reader fic/imagine with the prompt “We’ll see each other again, I promise.” ? Where Kylo who is now back to being Ben Solo, has to go to Exegol to look for and help Rey. But the reader doesn’t want him to because she thinks he might not back afterwards, or that he likes Rey more than her. Maybe have both confessed their love for one another before he leaves, and it’s also the readers first time of seeing Kylo as Ben Solo too.
Thank you so much for requesting! I had a LOT of fun writing this! The first post of the month too, lucky you! Lol. I hope you enjoy it!

Summary: Leia called someone through the force during a fight with the First Order. She knew Rey and Ben who came back to the light side with the help of Rey would need the extra help. That's what her twin brother Luke, had told her before his death.
Finding out who it is would Ben accept the fact that the person who his mother had called was his lost love who he left behind the night he became Kylo Ren. The person he spent seven years trying to find. Ben wasn't the only one who turned to the dark side. Ben Solo x OC
Chapter Two
"That was such a cheap move." Lilian said as she leaned against the wall of Ethan's aircraft. She could have swore she saw him smirking behind his helmet as he past her and walked to the wall across from her. She remembered as a child watching the clip that Leia had sent to her grandfather asking him for help years ago. She remembers. She used to watch it with Ben all the time.
"Cheap move but you still accepted." He said pressing a button on the wall. The wall in front of them hissed as it came apart showing the hidden armory.
"You can leave, you know. Go back home." She told him.
"And leave you? When have I done that?" He asked, grabbing a dark brown bag from inside the armory and turning towards her.
"This isn't your fight. It's not your problem." Lilian said, grabbing the bag from his grasp.
"What if I don't want to leave?" He said softly, grabbing her free hand. Lilian looked at him through the tinted window of his helmet, she felt him give her hand a soft squeeze.
It's been five years since she had come to know the Mandalorian. He found her broken and alone. He brought her back to a small planet called Amore. Unnoticed by many people, he was living there. He stayed there along with a small tribe with different species. He took her under his wing and she was grateful for it.
Ethan let her hand go when she didn't say anything to him. He mentally cursed at himself. He knew he shouldn't be acting that way with her, especially now with everything going on. Ethan wouldn't let anyone know that he liked the girl in front of him.
"Are you ok with him being here?" He asked quickly, trying to change the subject. He regretted it as soon as he noticed Lilian tensed up. She knew he was talking about Ben.
"I don't know. When I saw him I was about to kill him. I didn't mean too though, the rage inside of me came out." Ethan sighed as Lilian shook her head in embarrassment.
"It wasn't really you." Ethan told her.
"The darkness came over you." He added.
"How am I supposed to help them, if I can't fully control it?" She said, shaking her head.
"I saw Ben and that darkness immediately came out of me." She told him with a scared look.
"What if I hurt them? What If I hurt Leia or Chewie? Or what if I hurt you?" Lilian said to him.
"You can never hurt me. You will find a way, Lilian." He consoled her, she looked away not believing his words.
"His grandfather was the one that killed your grandfather, correct?"Ethan asked. Lilian nodded at him.
"Can you imagine two teenagers being told that their grandfathers had fought against each other. The day that Luke told Ben and I we both looked at each other with shocked faces."
"What a fuck up situation." Ethan said, causing her to chuckle.
"What's more fucked up is that their grand-kids fell in love with one another." Lilian said softly as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked at him. She didn't know how to answer his question of him wanting to stay with her.
She loved Ethan but it wasn't the same love she had with Ben. She would be lying if she said she hasn't thought of the idea of being with Ethan. Kissing him. Being in a relationship with him. She never really truly saw his face. She once saw a glimpse of his side profile when he had taken his helmet off due to him being badly injured. He didn't know she was looking at him. Ethan's side profile was an unblemished face with a strong jaw, his skin was a glowing russet brown color. Before she could fully turn to see him, he had put his helmet back on.
"You never told me why he left you behind?" Ethan said.
Ethan knew it was a sensitive subject to Lilian. She would always dogged the questions about Ben, the Jedi temple and that night. He kinda hoped with what happened today, she would open up to him about her past. Lilian told him about Leia and Han. She spared the major details of Ben but she never told him about that night.
"He didn't tell me. He just left." She told him.
"I left the same night he did but I crashed my craft on an unknown planet. That's where Mercury found me." Ethan frowned softly at the name of her old sith master.
"Will you tell Leia about him?" He questioned her.
"I'm not sure. I don't want her to know all of the horrible stuff I have done."
"You told Mary and I about it." Ethan told her. Lilian smiled as he mentioned Mary.
Mary reminded her of Leia in so many ways. Ethan had introduced Lilian to Mary when he brought her to Amore. The older lady was kind to her. Ethan had told Lilian that Mary was sort of the designated mother of the tribe but she was mostly a mother to Ethan. After a few months she was a mother to Lilian as well. Lilian had opened up to Mary and Ethan after a year being with them.
"That's because you guys didn't know me when I was younger. Leia took me in when my parents died. It's been so long since I saw her. I was going to cry when she called me princess. No one has called me that in years."
"Princess?" Ethan asked, a bit shocked. After years knowing Lilian, her having a girly nickname didn't seem to fit Lillian's image at all.
"When I was little I looked up to her. I wanted to be just like her. Strong. Wise. Fearless. She was a princess before becoming general so when she found out I wanted to be like her. She started calling me a princess after that."
Ethan nodded as he listened to Lilian. Lilian dropped the bag on the metal table near them with a sigh.
"We should go back to Amore soon. I think we should take The Resistance there." She said, taking her clothes out of the bag.
"We should." He agreed
"Mary hates it when we have been gone for so long." He said as he heard someone walking in through the entrance.
"Hello. Leia said that dinner is ready. I'm Rose by the way."
Lilian smiled at the young girl in front of her. She noticed the girl was a bit nervous and scared. She wasn't even looking at her and Ethan. He noticed it too.
"Don't be scared. We don't bite." He teased her. Rose gave him a small smile and nodded.
"She said not to be late." With that she left quickly causing Ethan to laugh at the young girl.
"It's been a while since people have been scared of us." Lilian rolled her eyes as Ethan spoke.
"After today they are more scared of me than you. I'll meet you there. I'm going to change." She turned back to the table.
"Lilian." Ethan called her, causing her to look over her shoulder at him.
"Yeah?"
"You will find a way to control this power." he said, making her turn around to face him.
"You found a way to survive after what Mercury did to you and you went back to the light. Use the force to guide you through this power."
Ethan left Lilian who was leaning against the table. She stared at him while he walked out of the craft. Her mind was still processing everything that occurred today. Her muscles ached from today's fight. Her hands went up to her hair to take her braids down. She ran her fingers through her hair.
With a groan she pushed herself off the table to the little room where Ethan and her shared to sleep whenever they were traveling out of Amore. She changed her clothes to another set of long black sleeves and a pair of black pants.
She grabbed her clothes and tucked them into the bag. She grabbed the knife and hid it in her boot. She decided to leave her shoulder holster and guns in the room. Her hand rested on the door frame for a moment. She was nervous. She didn't want to face Ben, she didn't want to face anyone after her little runaway.
"Breathe. Breathe. Breathe." She repeatedly told herself.
She walked out of the room then out the craft and down the ramp. She made her way to the many tents that were set up around a large fire. The members of The Resistance were sitting down around near the fire on little metal chairs.
Ben stared at Ethan's aircraft that was a few feet away from the camp. He grunted in pain as he shifted in his chair.
"How's the shoulder?" he looked up at his mother who was standing next to him.
"It's alright."
Leia gently placed a hand on his shoulder. She looked down at her son with tearful eyes.
"You know, I can read your thoughts." He said quietly as he looked up at her when he saw the images in her mind. The images were of himself and Lilian together.
Ben can see that his mother had thought of a different outcome of today. She thought Lilian would come back and happily agreed to help them. She thought Lilian would come back to them as her usually self but what his mother saw today was Lillian as a different person. They both realized that. She was very guarded now. She had a cold attitude to whoever she didn't know. Her hand is always resting on her weapon. She didn't speak much at all but she was being very observant.
"I'm just glad, you're back. Both of you." She said then walked away. Ben stared at his mother as she made her way to other members. He bit his tongue as the images were lingering in his mind.
He looked ahead when he felt a strong presence in the force. He saw her walking down the ramp of the craft to the camp. He knew she was nervous. She kept playing with her hands. She always did that whenever she was nervous or anxious. His heart ached after all these years he still remembered the little things about her. Ben looked at her as she made her way. She looked at her surroundings. She looked around the craft and tents around her. He wondered what made her so guarded. His train of thought was interrupted when he heard Lilian's grandfather's name being mentioned.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi's granddaughter? " Finn asked Leia who nodded as she gave him his plate.
"I thought a Jedi wasn't allowed to be in a relationship or have any kind of attachment?" Rey asked Leia.
"When Anakin became Vader, Obi-Wan was conflicted. The day that Luke saved me from Vader he was told by Obi-Wan that he had been in a relationship and had a child, a girl. He said that the woman had saved him from turning to the dark side."
"Who was she? The woman he fell in love with?" Rose asked.
"He never told us." Leia told the girl.
"What about Lilian's mother?" Rey asked as she remembered Lilian calling her mother weak.
"Sarah." Leia softly said the name with a loving smile.
Ben looked at his mother as she mentioned her once dear friend. After the death of Vader, Leia and Luke searched for the child of Obi-Wan. Once they have found the girl with the help of the force. The siblings decided to tell Sarah about her father, who she didn't know at all. Sarah didn't even know who was her own mother. Lillian's grandmother was a mystery to them. Ben didn't remember much of Sarah but he did remember when he was a child around five years old. Ben had touched Sarah's belly while she was pregnant with Lillian.
"Did she have the force as well?" Finn asked.
"She did but.." Leia said but stopped in mid sentence. Tears shimmered in her eyes.
"She was afraid." Ben spoke up finishing his mother's sentence. Ben looked at her mother as the people turned to him. He knew how much Sarah meant to her.
"Afraid?" Rey questioned.
"Sarah had visions. Visions of herself going to the dark side. Horrible visions, so she decided not to use the force at all." Ben replied.
"She was an amazing woman, though. Not a single mean bone in her body. She fell in love with an officer where she lived and they were inseparable. He was an orphan as well. They met when they were younger." Leia told them.
"He took the name of Kenobi when Sarah married him. Months later she didn't realize she was pregnant until Luke had told her. He could sense Lillian's force in Sarah." Leia said with a soft smile.
"What happened to them?" Ben presses his lips together in a thin line at Rose's question. Leia spoke softly.
"Chris, Lilian's father was killed by a smuggler. Sarah was with him when it happened. She sent out a help signal to Han and I. We found Lilian hidden underneath under the floors of the house. We found them dead. Han and I decided to take Lilian and raise her as our own."
Everyone quieted down as they saw the Mandalorian walking towards them. He nodded at them hello and sat down near an empty chair. Leia walked to him handing him a plate.
"C-3PO, please pass these around." Leia asked, handing the plates to the droid. Ethan places his plate on the ground near his chair.
"Yes. R2-D2 came along." The droid told the smaller droid as they gave out to the plates to the people.
"You aren't going to eat?" Poe asked Ethan as he sat next to Finn.
"I'll eat later." Ethan told him as he looked over his shoulder to see if Lilian was coming.
"Is it true that you guys can't take off your helmet?" Finn asked as he wiggled in his seat to get comfortable near Poe and Rose.
Ethan nodded. Ben stared at the Mandalorian.
'Has Lilian seen his face?' Ben thought, he tensed up as Lilian arrived at the fire. Everyone stood quiet for a moment.
"Miss Lilian!" C-3PO happily yelled as he made his way towards her. Lilian's eyes widened as she saw the droid walking towards her.
"C-3PO!" Lilian yelled excitedly as she hugged the droid.
"Look at you. You haven't aged a bit." She joked with a smile. R2-D2 beeped hello at Lilian, she kneeled in front of the smaller droid.
"Hey D2. Oh my stars." She tapped its sides softly. Leia smiled as Lilian had reunited with the droids. Leia looked over at Ben, he had a small smile watching 3PO talk to Lilian.
"Hello there, little one." Lillian said as BB-8 hid behind R2-D2. Lillian held her hand out to the orange and white droid. BB-8 let out a whistle and rolled to her. She laughed as she patted the top of the droid's head.
After the little reunion she sat next to Ethan. She looked ahead of her and met Ben's eyes. They stared at each other for a second. She looked away when Leia bought her a plate. She saw Chewie near her. The wookie nodded at her then started to eat.
"Thank you." She told Leia as she placed the plate on her lap.
"'Eating later?" She asked Ethan who nodded as he leaned back on his seat.
Leia gave Ben a plate. "Thanks." Leia sat next to him with her own plate. Some were talking among themselves while others ate quietly.
"Lilian, how did you meet Ethan?" Leia asked. Lilian looked at Ethan who shrugged his shoulders not knowing how to answer.
"He found me." Ben looked at Lilian as she spoke softly. She didn't want them to know about her first meeting with him.
"He took me to a planet named Amore. I know you don't know where to go next but we can take you there. We live there, it's pretty small and not many people know about it. I think it's best to take you guys tomorrow." Lilian told Leia. Leia nodded and looked at Ben.
"Best to lay low for a while." Ben commented.
"Take the time to rest up. Luke may have trained you for a while but he still hasn't shown you everything." He said as he looked at Rey. They all froze as he mentioned Luke's name. It's been weeks since the death of Luke Skywalker.
"Tomorrow in the morning, then. Before the First Order comes back." Lilian told them.
"Thank you." Leia said sincerely to her. Lilian nodded at her and looked down at her plate.
"Is there enough fuel for you guys ?" Lilian asked them as she ate.
"Yes, is it possible to take a few of us with you guys on the aircraft?"
"That's no problem. We have the room." Ethan answered her.
"We leave bright and early tomorrow then." Leia said looking at the group. They agreed and continued to eat in silence.
"The people who are coming with us. Don't be scared if you hear a loud roaring sound. It's just Lilian snoring." Ethan said, making a few people laugh.
"Ethan!" Lilian yelled, pinching him at the shoulder where his armor didn't cover.
"Ow." He yelled looking over at her.
"I do not snore." She said, making Ethan sit up straight in his seat.
"You are saying you do not snore?" He said laughing as he shook his head at disbelief.
"I don't snore." She repeated then looked around.
"I don't snore." She once again said with all seriousness causing some members of the group to laugh.
"At least I'm not a blanket hogger." She teased him pointing her fork at him.
"You know I get cold easily." He said, defending himself causing her to roll her eyes at him.
"Yeah ok. It's my blanket, though." Ethan stood up and scoffed at his disbelief. He saw her grinning as she ate.
Ben looked at them. 'They shared a bed?' He thought to himself. He ignored the rush feeling of jealousy through his body. He didn't like how easy it was for them to joke around. They joked around just like how he used to do with her.
"It's soft."Ethan stated, making her laugh.
"I know it's soft. That's why it's mine." She answered back at him with the same tone of sassiness he was giving to her.
"I bought it though." He said, causing people to giggle at the scene in front of them.
"You gave it to me." Lilian exclaimed as she threw her hands in the air.
"At least I dont sound like a motor running when I'm sleeping." He said, causing Lilian's eyes to bug out.
"I'm going to kick your ass." She said, making him laugh.
"Ha! Like you can."
"I have done it before."
"I wasn't ready that day."Ethan said, making Lilian huffed in her seat and placed her plate on the ground.
"You ready?" She asked. She stood up and placed her hands on her hips.
"Ready?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.
"Ready ? Ready for wh.." Ethan yelled as Lilian pushed him on the ground. Some were laughing as they wrestled on the ground. Ben couldn't help but grin as he saw Lilian put Ethan on a headlock.
"Say I don't snore." Lilian said with a smile. Ethan was huffing and puffing as he tried to get out.
"You are using the force. That's cheating!" He yelled causing her to tighten her hold on him.
"Say it!" She said.
"Ok ! Ok! I don't snore." He said laughing as Lilian let out an annoyed groan. She let out a yelped as she felt her side being tickled. She playfully pushed him away from her.
"Just wait until I tell Mary!" Ethan teased causing her to gasp dramatically.
"You want her to pinch us both?!" Lilian yelled with a smile.
"Mary?" Leia asked, making Ethan nod at her.
"Our mom." He said without a thought, causing Leia and Ben to look at him. Lillian had a small grin.
"Mom?" Leia questioned.
"Adopted mother, you can say." Lilian explained to Leia.
"I bet she'll back me up when I say you snore." Ethan quickly said making Lilian roll her eyes at him.
"Ethan!" She playfully yelled at him, making him chuckle.
"Isn't it a bit gross that you guys are together and have the same mom." Poe said, looking at them. Ethan and Lilian looked at Poe then each other.
"What?!" Lilian yelled as Ethan stood quiet. He was grateful for his helmet so no one could see the face he made.
"We aren't a couple. Just very good friends." Lilian said as she ignored Ben's gaze. Lilian and Ethan quietly made their way to their chairs and sat down. Leia could sense the awkwardness in the air so she cleared her throat.
"Ethan. What did you do before meeting Lilian?" Leia asked as Lilian grabbed her plate. Ethan did the same. The people thought he was about to take his helmet off to eat but what he did surprised them. Ethan grabbed the fork and pushed a piece of meat off his plate to Lilian's plate.
Lilian was about to refuse but he told her softly "Eat it. Please" Lilian looked at Ethan and nodded.
"I was a bounty hunter. Still am." He answered her as Lilian dug into her food.
"Bounty hunter ?" Poe said, looking excited.
Ethan nodded. "When I found Lilian. She wanted to help me. She's pretty good at catching people." He said looking at her.
" Should I tell them how you tased me?" He said, looking at Lilian who shook her head as she chewed.
"I don't know how many times I have to say I'm sorry. I didn't know it was a taser gun!" She said rolling her eyes and continued to eat.
"She tase you ?!" Finn said with a small laugh.
"Yes, she did! She did it on purpose too!" Ethan repiled.
"I can see that happening." Poe said looking at Ethan. Lilian wrinkled her nose in annoyance at them.
"I did not." Lilian said, finishing her food.
"I did not. I do not. Just like I do not snore!" He said miticking her voice in a high pitch voice.
"That's it! I'm kicking your ass." Making him laugh. Lilian placed her empty plate under Ethan's plate.
"I know what I'm going to do! I'm going to hide the blanket." Ethan immediately stopped laughing and stood up near her.
"You wouldn't." Lilian nodded at him with a laugh.
Everyone stood still looking at them. They all waited in suspense and in a second Lilian jumped over the chair and dashed to the aircraft.
"Lilian! Don't be crazy!" Ethan yelled, running to her. Both of them raced, making the group laugh.
"It's good to see her laughing." Leia said softly. She looked over at Ben who was staring at the Lilian who made it first to the craft.
After the laughter had quieted down, they continued to eat and talk among themselves. Ben stared at the fire as he thought of her and Ethan. He couldn't help but feel the darkness come over him as his thoughts of them being together polluted in his mind.
'Did they share a bed?'
'Is she with him?'
'Where has she been all these years?'
'Does she love him?'
'It would be so easy to kill him." Ben thought to himself as he took a deep breath.
His jaw clenched as he imagined the scene right in front of him. He could see Ethan gasping for air as he used the force to choke him. Ben could see himself killing Ethan.
Leia stopped talking to Rey when she felt goosebumps run through her entire body. Rey sensed it as well, she looked at Leia who was looking over her shoulder at Ben.
"Ben?" Leia called out softly as she looked at her son. Ben didn't say anything. He was leaned back in his chair, his legs were parted open as he started at the fire with intensity. Leia froze in shock as the flames of the fire near them rose higher.
"Ben!" Leia shouted, causing him to look away from the fire at her.
"Everything alright?"
The group turned and saw Ethan standing there. He had a dark brown blanket over his shoulder as he bent down to grab his plate.
"Yes, Ethan. Where's Lilian?" Leia asked, in the corner of her eye she saw Ben staring at the Mandalorian.
"She wanted to rest for a bit. She's a bit tired, she hasn't fought like today in a while. I'm going to join her. Good night." Ethan said as he gave an unsure look at the group under his helmet. Ethan could feel the glares of Ben staring at him. He just ignored it. Ben stood up and walked away first. Ethan walked away as soon Ben turned around.
"Night." He told his mother and walked away placing the empty plate in the wash bin. Leia looked at her son and sighed as she looked over at Rey who was looking at her.
"You think they will get along?" Rey asked quietly to Leia. Leia had told Rey about Ben's and Lilian's relationship. Leia knew Rey meant if Lilian and Ethan would get along with Ben.
"I hope so."
Ben sighed as he made his way to his tent. He ran his fingers through his hair while he sat on the cot. He pressed the heel of his palms against his eyes. His mother was right. It was good to see her laughing and looking happy.
The last time he saw her she was crying and begging him not to leave. He spent years trying to reconnect with her through the force. He hid all memories of her from Snoke. He told him that he killed her that night in the temple. He was frightened at the idea that Snoke would find out that she was alive and kill her himself.
From a young age Lilian easily used the force. It wasn't hard for her to manipulate it. Ben felt the light in her at a young age. He liked the feeling when she was around. It was one of the many reasons he grew so attached to her when they were younger. He knew she wasn't lying when she told them she used to be a sith. He felt the light in her but he also felt the conflict in her. Ben was worried because he never felt any conflict in Lilian before.
"You have that feeling too, you know." Lilian said to Ben as they laid together in his bed.
"Do I ?" Ben asked, running his fingers through her hair while she laid her head on his chest.
"You feel like home. Warm like the sun. It's comforting." She said with a smile.
"Sometimes I can hear you." She said quietly. Ben looked down at her with a smile.
"Even when we are far apart?" He asked. Lilian nodded at him.
"You feel it too?" She asked him as she sat up to look down at him in shock. Ben nodded back at her.
"Sometimes I can read your thoughts." Ben said softly.
"You think about me a lot." Ben said, feeling his cheeks burn red of shyness.  He didn't want to tell her that he didn't mind it at all. He liked that she always thought of him. He always thought about her too.
Later that day his mother told him the reasons they were experiencing that was because they had a force bond together. When he walked away from her that night. He felt cold and alone. He's been feeling that ever since.
"Why do you look so sad, Ben?" Ben immediately looked up and gasped. Lilian stood in front of him. Ben rubbed his face with his hands then looked ahead. It was impossible Lillian stood right in front of him,
"You're not real." He said, shaking his head. It couldn't be. Lilian was wearing her Jedi clothes. Her hair was longer. She looked so young. 'Why was the force showing him this memory', he thought to himself.
"Is it because of what Luke said? Ben, I feel it too. The conflict you are having. Whatever is going on. I can help you. Let me help you. My love, let me help you." She said walking towards him. Ben couldn't help but tear up at the memory playing in front of him. He knew it was memory. Lillian had come up to him days before that terrible night. She sensed the conflict in him when they were training together. She came to his hutt that night and found him deep in his thoughts.
"I love you, Ben." She said, smiling at him as she kneel in front of him. He did exactly what he did when she told him that years ago. He raised his hands to cup her cheeks. It felt so real. He could feel the smoothness of her cheeks. Ben let out a toothy smile but when he blinked she was gone. His memory ended, he dropped his hands to his lap.
"Ben?" Ben wiped the tears that had spilled out of his eyes quickly as he heard Rey walking in his tent.
"You alright?" Rey asked him as she stood near the opening of the tent.
"Yeah." He sniffed with a nod making her tilt her head to the side. She knew he was lying.
"You have that look on your face." Rey told him. Ben sighed and looked at her. She didn't budge.
"You can tell me, Ben." Rey told him. He kept silent.
"Do you remember when you told me that I wasn't alone. I told you the same thing. You can tell me." Ben looked up at Rey. He could see she was being truthful. Her eyes didn't lie to him.
"It's been years since I saw her. She has changed and I don't know what to do. I'm happy to see her. I'm scared I'm going to lose her again." He told her.
"She came back."
"She came back because of my mother." Rey frowned when he snapped at her. He instantly felt horrible for his outburst.
"Do you still love her?" She asked sitting next to him on the cot.
Ben nodded. "I do. I spent years trying to find her after completing my first part of training with Snoke. I was more powerful and I knew more about the force. Everytime I tried to reach her, I got nothing. I had hoped if I found the map to Luke, perhaps I could find a clue about her and be able to kill Luke." Rey stared at Ben as he spoke.
"Do you remember the day we talked through the force?" Ben asked Rey.
"When you called me a monster." He added.
Rey nodded at him. "After we spoke I saw her for the first time in years but just for a couple of seconds. She looked hurt. She wasn't wearing the mask. It was her. I was trying to get closer to you to see her again. I believed our forces together were able to go through her shield she had up all these years. That's when I knew I had to get closer to you to find her."
"She looked so beautiful." Ben whispered like it was a secret. He saw her walking towards him. She looked tired. She had a thin tank top showing her arms. His eyes could see on her right arm she was wounded a bit. Her red hair was braided up to her head. He thought it was because she was injured that perhaps she let her shield down but he knew he was it was because of Rey. He knew Rey was strong with force. He knew it as soon as he saw her for the first time.
"Ben, maybe Luke knew what was going to happen? Maybe he did what he did because..."
"Luke didn't know shit." Ben said causing Rey to frown in her seat.
"Luke Skywalker." Ben said with such hate as he shook his head.
"I hate him." Rey looked at Ben as he stared at the ground.
"He never approved of the idea of Lilian and I together. He said it was unsafe. He always made me feel like I was a child, like I couldn't protect her or myself."
"He was protecting you. Luke told me how he felt something in you. Something about a voice." Rey told him. Ben shook his head.
"Snoke." Rey looked at Ben as he told her.
"Luke was probably just trying to help you, Ben. Attachments can be a problem." Rey softly told him not trying to anger him.
"You don't get it. Just like my uncle." Ben said standing up from the cot.
"Every time I was with her I didn't hear Snoke or any voice. She made me happy. Just being around her and having her presence and her smile made me feel better. He didn't seem to get that through his thick skull." Ben said.
"That night came and he tried to kill me."
'"Ben, he stopped himself before he could do it." Rey told him. Ben shook his head at disbelief.
'It's true. He told me." Rey said looking up at him.
" I don't believe you." He said angrily.
"Believe me. Luke never meant to hurt you. He was sorry. I know deep down you know it's true." Rey said to him.
"He spoke highly of you. He said you had the mighty skywalker blood in you and you were destined for great things. Luke loved you." Ben clenched his jaw as Rey spoke. They didn't say anything for a moment.
"He loved you, Ben." Rey said softly looking at him. Ben shook his head as he ignored her.
"Why didn't Luke tell me about her? Lilian."Rey asked standing up from the cot.
"I'm not sure." Kylo answered truthfully to her.
"Luke said he failed you. The pain in the eyes. I believe he was hurting double because he failed her as well." Rey spoke.
"He lost two of his students to the dark side." Ben said.
"Do you think she's still a sith?" Rey asked him.
"I don't know." Ben said as Rey looked at him. He looked lost. He really didn't know.
"I feel the conflict in her. Just like I did in you." Rey said, making him look down at her as she spoke.
"Did you?" Rey nodded at his question.
"When she looked into my mind. I saw something. She truly is strong with the force but when she went through my mind. I saw something just for a minute though."
"What did you see?" Rey looked at Ben with hesitation for a moment.
"She was crying. There was a man. Long blonde hair, blue eyes. He was looking at her, smiling while she cried. She was conflicted. I felt it. It made me sick how he stared at her." Ben frowned as Rey spoke.
"May I see?" Ben said walking closer to Rey. He held out his hand and for a moment Rey looked unsure.
"I just want to see what you saw in her. Please." Rey nodded at him then placed her hand on his open hand.
Ben took a deep breath as he felt Rey projecting her memory of what she saw to him. Ben opened his eyes and found himself in her thoughts. It was dark, nothing was surrounding him. Just a room filled with darkness. Ben looked ahead as he heard Lilian's cries echoing in the air. He walked forward towards the sound of her cries and that's when he saw her. A bright light was shining down on Lillian. She was on her knees staring at the ground as she cried. He froze when he heard footsteps come behind him. A man not taller than him stepped next to him. His blonde hair came up to his shoulder. His blue eyes glared harshly down at Lilian. His dark robes touched the ground. The dark force surrounded him. Ben felt an icy cold breeze run through him. Ben saw how the man gave her a smile as she cried. I
The memory suddenly stopped and he pulled away.
"Do you know him?" Rey asked when she saw Ben frowning.
Ben shook his head. "No, but he's dangerous. Full of death and cold surrounded him." He said.
"Should we tell your mother?"
"No. Not until we know who it is." Ben said.
"But..."
"Not until we know who it is." Ben said again, interrupting Rey.
"Why? He could be working with her now. What if this is just a con, Ben. We turn our back and she will kill us."
"Shut up." Ben said roughly causing her to roll her eyes.
"Ben, you don't know her anymore. You haven't seen her for years. What if she's still a sith? We can't trust her."
"Enough." Ben yelled causing Rey to jump in shocked. Ben pointed a finger at her.
"I trust her." Ben snarled at her.
"I know Lilian. I know her. I know her like the back of my hand. She won't betray us. She won't betray my mother. She won't betray..." Ben stopped himself before he said 'me'.
"Us." Ben said lowering his hand from Rey's face.
"How can you be so sure?" Rey said as Ben turned his back to her. He didn't answer her at all. Rey could see he was trying to control his anger. His shoulders twitched as he took deep breaths. Rey shook her head not wanting to deal with him giving her a silent treatment. She left his tent leaving him with his thoughts. Ben looked over his shoulder as he heard Rey left. He sighed as he walked back to the cot. Sitting down with his elbows on his knees.
It was around midnight when Lilian walked down the ramp. She did a little stretch as she reached the bottom. She sensed most people were asleep. She looked up and saw the moons shining down at them. She made sure her shoulder holster was tightened as she walked by the edge of the camp.
Snap Wexley bummed shoulders with Rose as he saw Lilian walking around. Rose frowned at the sight of Lilian walking in the middle of the night by herself.
"What is she doing?" He asked as they both stood up from their seats.
"It's like she's walking around like she's patrolling." Rose said then looked at him. They both nodded to each other and walked towards Lilian.
"Hey!" Lilian turned and was met with Rose and Snap. They both froze with their hands up in the air. Lilian looked down and saw she was holding a gun. She didn't realize she drew out her weapon.
"Sorry..I just.." Snap stutters causing Rose to look over at him with a deep sighed.
"We just wanted to see if you are alright. It's late." Rose told her. Lilian drew back her weapon and tucked it in her holsters.
"It's ok. I'm sorry too." Lilian said as the pair brought their hands down.
"Why are you walking around?" Rose asked.
"Just patrolling. Is someone doing look out right now?" Lilian asked as she looked at the forest then at them.
Snap shook his head at her.
"We have grids around. If anyone comes near, we are alerted instantly." He said, causing Lilian to look away.
Rose saw how Lilian's face fell at this.
"I'm sorry. At Amore we usually take turns. Something we do...to feel.." Lilian said, shaking her head.
"It's ok." Rose told her. "Really, it's fine."
Lilian nodded at her.
"So you're like a Jedi? Pretty cool." Snap said as Rose hit him on the shoulder.
"Really?!" Rose told him, causing Lilian to chuckle.
"I don't consider myself one." She said walking towards them.
"Because you don't have a lightsaber like Rey?" He asked her.
"How come you don't have one?" Rose asked her.
"I lost it during a fight." Lilian told them. Rose frowned at her answer.
"You can't get it back?"
Lilian shook her head. "I don't want it back. I'm fine using guns and my fists."

My favourite Star Wars music and my associations
Main theme
The most famous iconic piece. For me it heavily associates with ‘A New Hope’ and ‘The Empire Strikes Back’, specifically the opening scene with ‘Tantive IV’ being persecuted by the Star Destroyer. Moving on into the melody, the Rebellion blooms into my mind. While listening, I imagine the main trio and Luke as a pilot and a Jedi beginner – still naïve, eager and messy. Starship fights, X-Wings, Luke a bit clumsy with his lightsaber, Han and Leia with blasters, Rebel pilots, funny droids.
Imperial March
My favourite tune, because it helps to cope with work. The melody is sinister, of course, but also very purposeful and confident, ready to crush all the obstacles. While listening (even if just playing it in my head), I have a feeling like ‘Don’t you mess with me’ – strong and aggressive. Does help not to feel small and weak splinter in the river stream of life.
Across the Stars
Ballet. Definitely ballet music – a stage, two dancers tiptoeing gently across the floor. Tender and tragic love tune. I love how this melody speaks about Anakin in AOTC and ROTS – first we only hear love overwhelming everything for Anakin and Padme, the triumphant fortissimo showcasing their marriage… and then the struggle in Anakin between his love and goodness (Across the Stars tune) and his descent to the Dark Side with threatening sound of Duel of the Fates, repeating over and over while AtS becomes less gentle and more anxious, associating with Padme’s despair seeing Anakin at his worst. In the end the gentleness darkens completely, but the final harp speaks about their poisoned love resulting in still something good – kids that will bring balance to the galaxy.
Cantina Song
Straight out of cartoons from 50s like ‘Tom and Jerry’ featuring Han Solo shooting first, lots of various questionable alien patrons and occasional chopped off limbs by Ben Kenobi. Also – ‘How many percussions do you need? – Yes.’
Force Suite
Sorrowful and soulful, yet hopeful. ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi… Obi-Wan… Now that’s a name I haven’t heard for a long time…’ – you also see this moment in your head hearing the first sounds? After it – a lovely small playful moment indicating that the Jedi are not boring stuck-up noses, but capable of mischief. The part of Ach-To which for me sounds like embodiment of the Dark Side defeated by goodness; Vader sounding intimidating and strong, but his tune shapes into Luke’s – hopeful and victorious. In the very end of the melody I see something we could’ve got, but never did – Luke with Grogu on his shoulder, holding hands of little Rey and Finn, surrounded by other younglings looking at a blossoming new Temple.
Bonus: Indiana Jones theme
Han Solo. No hesitations. Han, Chewbacca and their fun and adventurous way of dealing with everything – from smuggling to the Rebellion. In the middle of the tune we have a tender love part – Han and Leia, of course. After this I always imagine one more thing we’ll never get – the ‘Falcon’, Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie, 3PO and R2 having all kinds of adventures after their victory over the Empire, rebuilding the galaxy, getting into more trouble along the way and prevailing in different weird ways.

Summary: As Rey settles into a new town, Admiral Ren isn’t very happy to welcome her. Until he is. Rey placed the wooden boxes of berries carefully over one another, holding her breath, trying to make sure they were safe before stepping back.
It was her first batch from her new garden. Uprooting everything from her own home had been hard, but her plants were strong and had resisted.
This was a harbour town. They had fish and, honestly, she really missed eating fish.
Considering she couldn't fish, this was the next best option.
Trading food for food.
She didn't know what to make of this settlement yet. The locals were rude at best and hostile at worst. She should have kept walking, but she couldn't get over her self-righteousness to stay and try to help them out.
Sure, Rey was a wanderer, but she didn't avoid people instinctively. Besides, it always paid off to help. They even got her a shack to live in, with only a minor leaky roof and space for her to grow whatever she wanted, as long as she was useful in the community, like everyone else there.
In this place, everyone had a role.
The sound of footsteps coming to her made her stop, though, and Rey turned to look at it.
Ah, yes, Admiral Ren.
They had met once. Well, first she had met his gun, which he had pointed right at her face when she met with him and the other protectors in town - the Knights of Ren. And then they had a proper meeting.
He was the worst of this little town, trusting no one and hating everyone else, though he was mainly at the front lines in case of any attacks on the people or their supplies, and she respected that. Rey had even tried to help him chase off some thieves, but he was never thankful, just considering her another nuisance to drain their resources.
"Captain said I had to come to collect your goods," he stopped in front of her, looking at the shack behind Rey and the boxes she had just piled up. "Is that all?"
"Plants take time to grow," she reminded him.
Admiral Ren scoffed.
"Of course they do," he mumbled and raised a sack in his huge hands. "Payment for all your dedication."
She reached to take it from him, but he simply dropped it to her feet.
She glared at him, but he didn't move, watching her with a smirk, and Rey begrudgingly bent down, picking the sack.
"Fish and flour," he told her.
She perked up.
"Flour?"
"The mill finally worked," he answered simply. "Wait here, I'll go get your water."
Admiral Ren walked away, and she watched him, scoffing.
People always complained about plastic, but after the fucking apocalypse, it turned out it was really good to hold water.
She watched as he moved to his horse and came back with the big sealed plastic container, with enough water for her to drink and cook with for a few days.
Rey grabbed the handle and offered him a polite smile before leaving.
"Thank you, admiral Ren," she nodded at him, remaining civil.
Before she could get past her door, though, he called her attention right back to him.
"How long are you planning to stay?" he practically snapped.
Rey stopped and looked back at him, not impressed. What kind of questions was that?
"Well, I've been debating it. Where else would I find such hospitality?
You don't plant a garden if you don't plan to stay for a bit.
He glared at her, looking annoyed, and grabbed her box from her hands before storming inside her house to place it himself.
"Oh, I'm sorry, your majesty," he threw her a look. "Should we have let out the red carpet and kissed your boots when you came waltzing in?"
She raised him a single questioning eyebrow.
"You are an outsider," he spat, dark hair falling to cover his eye for a moment. "That's it. Don't expect to be treated differently than that."
She glared at him, but instead of getting mad, just decided to make another plan.
"I think you're starting to like me," she placed the sack on her counter, sarcastically, though smirking. "Not only that, I think you don't even want me to leave.”
When she looked at him, Admiral Ren looked like he was about to pop a blood vessel.
She had to hold back her laugh as he stormed off of her shack, with heavy steps and an angry face.
Rey giggled to herself, and just moved on with her day, and was just about to lay out dinner when a crack of thunder startled her, and the sound of a horse whining made her go outside.
"Today really isn't your day, uh, Admiral Ren?" she called for him.
He glared at her, but before he could curse her own, Rey just waved him a hand.
"Get your horse in my barn," she instructed him, pointing to the small barn beside her greenhouse. "So the rain won't spook her."
The barn was there when she came and was in a way better state than her shack, and the greenhouse was a little bit of a generous term, but he seemed to understand.
She walked inside, leaving the door opened, and shed her outer layers, soaked from the rain, staying in her pants and tank top.
Admiral Ren was dripping and cranky when he wanted into her house, but she poured him warm soup.
"Rain isn't good," he spoke, sounding worried. "Means the sea is gonna be rising high soon."
"Shouldn't that be a good thing?" she frowned. "More sea means more fish, no?"
He just scoffed, taking his boots off.
"It means you'll be more of a leech," he grunted. "When the rainy season hits, the roads are too muddy, and the fog makes it impossible to travel."
She shook her head.
"Do you want potatoes?" she asked, stirring the soup a little.
He looked at her, shocked, and Rey just rolled her eyes.
"Unlike you, I'm polite enough to be a good host," she remarked. "Do you want them?"
"Sure," he mumbled.
She hummed along, adding a few pieces of potatoes to his soup. He was a big man, he probably ate a lot.
"Are you always like that?" he asked. "Little goody two shoes, always with that face."
Rey frowned.
"What is wrong with my face?"
Admiral Ren looked at her from head to toe.
"You smile too much!"
She rolled her eyes.
"People always need a helping hand," she shrugged.
She walked to the table, setting his soup down, and grabbed some of the sour bread she'd managed to get a few days ago, placing it between them as Admiral Ren sat down dramatically.
"You got any beer or are you too high and mighty for that?" he changed the subject.
She strode to her cooler and bent over, picking two beers from inside. Sure, they had expired a lot of time ago, but it was better than nothing.
"Cold and probably old enough fuck," she joked.
Her garden had helped her gather a little bit of those tokens. Some beers, Pepsi cans, spam and canned goods... they were good reminders of what the world used to be.
He ate the soup silently, looking at her from the corner of his eyes, and Rey just ignored it, focusing on her food.
"I never... hm..." he looked for words. "Seen you outside your gear before."
She looked up at him in the midst of slipping up her soup.
"Too cold out there to be in my birthday suit," she reminded him. "So I have to cover up."
He rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, you cover up a lot," he grunted, eyes on her tits. "You know, if the men saw you like this, they would think you are a damn siren."
She almost choked on her soup, but she covered up by chugging some beer.
"Thank you? I guess..." she mumbled.
She tried not to think too much about it. Men were usually like this but she always put them in their place.
"You've never had a kid, have you?" he asked, suddenly, and she jumped, staring at him in horror.
What the fuck?
"I mean, look at those tits of yours," he pointed at her chest. "Tiny. I bet I can cover them with a single hand. There’s no way you’ve ever been pregnant with those tits.”
She just stared at him, trying to process his words
"No," she answered, at last. “I’ve never been pregnant.”
He shrugged, still nonchalant.
"Apologies, but babies aren't long in this area," he ate his soup. "We don't even name our kids until they are walking on their own and talking."
She nodded a little. It must be painful to lose a baby. Not giving them a name was probably a way to cope before the pain.
"Is that why they call you Admiral?" she tried to joke. "Your parents never thought you'd make it?"
Rey didn’t know him for long, but knew Ren wasn’t his name, but the name of the group he was a part of.
He looked at her, cold, and Rey knew she had struck a nerve.
"My name was given to me by my mother, but the sea took her when that mess fell on us," he said simply. "And I let it take it too "
She almost felt bad, but he started chuckling as he finished his beer.
"I never would have taken such a goody-goody like you to be so bold."
Rey scoffed.
"Just because I'm good it doesn't mean I don't have a backbone."
He shook his head.
"No, but it makes you a fucking idiot," he glanced at her bowl, and stole a fish eye from it, popping it into his mouth. "No one with a full brain has that good of a heart, little thing."
That was it. She had had enough.
"Excuse me?" she stood up. "You should leave."
Admiral Ren just stood up as well and grabbed her, unfazed.
"Do you realise that any other woman-loving man would have done the first second you let them in?" he asked, eyes focusing deep on hers. "When you opened your door for him, all giggly and smiley, with your fish potato soup and old bottled beer?"
He pulled her over, so they were away from the table, and Rey tried to swing at him, but he just turned her away and locked her hands together behind her back.
"You are a good woman, I'll give you that. I've met many good women like you, but they usually end up dead before they are 25," he told her. "You, however..."
Rey panted as his hand moved down her body. She had heard of his reputation of a cranky fighter, but nothing of women.
"Admiral Ren," she tried to warn him, but stopped when he squeezed her ass in his big hand.
"I know a good pair of birthing hips when I see one," he remarked.
She closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath and trying to reclaim some sense of dignity.
"Just take what you want, and I'll leave tonight, " she promised him.
But Admiral Ren just chuckled into her ear.
"Oh, no, little thing," he nipped her earlobe. "I think I found a good use for you now."
Did he even know her name?
Did he even care?
"Hey," she protested when he picked her up, trying to fight him, but he was built like a fucking brick house and the size of a damn fridge.
He threw her on the bed, and she tried to jump out, but he just grabbed her ankle, pulling her back and raising his huge hand to her tank top, ripping it down the centre.
"I fucking knew you weren't wearing a bra," he licked his lips.
"Admiral, please, stop!" she shouted, panting.
He was going to rape her, that was it?
His face softened and, he clicked his tongue, reaching for her and pushing her short hair back.
"Don't give me that look, little thing," he cooed to her. "You wanted to be helpful. This is the- perfect way."
She clenched her jaw, and he looked down at her chest.
"And now, I'm going to suck your little tits," he spoke, as a matter of fact.
As he promised, he leant down and took one of her breasts whole into his plushy lips, and she gasped, squirming, but he just held her tighter.
He sucked on the tits, biting her skin, sucking and mouthing until they were both sore and sensitive, and she was a whimpering unwilling mess.
"Oh, you're liking that, aren't you?" he pinched her nipple, looking down at her flushed face. "Tell me, little thing, when was the last time you've been fucked?"
He didn't let her answer, pushing her to lay fully on the bed and taking his hand to her pants, pulling them off.
Rey knew she should have fought back, but her heart was pumping too loudly, and her body was tingling too much.
“I’ll tell you, the last time I fucked a girl…” he spread her legs. “It has to be five years ago, give it or take some months. You don’t get much action here unless you are breeding your wife. She was a tight squeeze, a fisherman’s daughter looking for adventure.”
She swallowed down as his big hands moved up and down her thighs, caressing her sensitive skin.
Rey sucked in a deep breath and he moved a finger over her folds, parting them, and licked his lips.
She was wet. She was embarrassingly wet.
"That girl told me to just stick in. She was dry as a bone in the beginning but I fucked her hard and dumped my load until her until she was leaking with it," he chuckled. "And now I got an even bigger load waiting for you. And you are not dry, are you, little thing?"
"Admiral Ren, please," she whimpered, begging, though she didn't know what for.
She gasped when he pushed two fingers into her, curling against her sweet spot.
"I know, little thing," he cooed, teasing her. "I know..."
He fucked her slowly, and she let her eyes fall closed as her lips parted open.
“God, you are such a beauty,” he hummed. “Aren’t I a lucky son of a bitch to be the one taking you apart?”
She whimpered, and he scissored his fingers in her, getting her wide open.
“You shouldn’t be wandering around, helping folks who don’t deserve it... “ he raised his thumb to her clit, rolling it. “You should settle down… be a wife…”
Rey whined, raising her hips to meet his touch.
God, she could, couldn’t she?
“My wife,” he decided, there and then.
Her eyes widened, but he didn’t seem to care, taking his fingers to his mouth and sucking them clean before reaching for his pants, taking them off.
Rey flipped to her stomach, trying to use his distraction to crawl away from him and get off the bed, but he tugged sharply on her hair, and slapped her ass hard.
“Bad wife,” he growled, he slapped her other cheek.
“Can’t we at least talk?” she tried to argue.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to fuck him, but couldn’t they work things out beforehand?
“What’s there to say?” he grabbed her hips, raising them. “I want to fuck you and have you filled with my sons, seems pretty simple.”
Rey threw a look over her shoulder, almost having whiplash.
“But you hate me!” she tried to counter. “And now you wanna marry me?”
He pushed her head down to her pillow, and rubbed his cock against her ass.
"You still don’t get it, do you?" he asked. “You’re a strong woman, I could realize that from the moment I saw you.”
He pushed his cock between her ass cheeks, and she whined. He was so big, dammit.
Fuck, she was too wet for this.
“I just didn't know if you were gonna use that strength to threaten our way of life, but now you’re playing little hero, and that annoys the hell out of me” he growled. “But you won’t have to do all that with a baby in your belly.”
The head of his cock stretched the entrance of her cunt, and Rey whined, but before she could even adapt to it, he just shoved himself completely into her.
“And I will put it there,” he slapped her ass, making it sting.
His hand reached to squeeze her sore breast and pinched her nipple.
"Just imagine these tits getting bit with milk,” he pulled on it, pulling his hips back and then diving into her again. “I’ll protect you in our little cabin. It’s bigger than this shack, I got space for you to make a good garden there.”
Rey moaned. Fuck, he was big, he was so damn thick.
Admiral Ren started to thrust in and out of her, letting his cock carve its way inside her, and Rey gripped her sheets as her head moved with each thrust.
She hadn’t even realised how loud she was moaning until he started laughing behind her, fingers moving to play with her clit.
“Yes,” he hissed. “I bet you like that. Stuffed full of thick cock, making you a dumb little cock slut.”
She moaned, squeezing her eyes shut, whining.
“It’s too big,” she whimpered, trembling as he played with her.
He pulled her back against his chest, fingers unstoppable and hips merciless as he fucked her.
“Oh, you’ll get used to it,” he growled. “You’re gonna be taking my cock every night from now on, I’ll fill you up until you are round and plump and your little tits are so big they’ll be too heavy for you to go around without a bra.”
She let her head fall back on his shoulder, crying out.
“Please,” she whimpered.
“You should know I’m a patient man, too,” he spoke into her ear. “I could stop fucking you for a while until you’re nice and tight like this again, just so it can feel like today, what do you think?”
Re just moaned more, hungry.
“But it’s gonna be like that every time you give me a baby,” he clicked his tongue. “I’ll be a good daddy and a good husband for you, I’ll let you have that recovery season until the babes can sleep in their own beds before fucking another one into you.”
She felt herself already drifting away, nearing the edge, eyes blurring and brain just fogging.
His cock was so big, it felt so good.
Fuck, why did she even want to stop him?
“You’re gonna cum, my little cockslut?”
Yes, that was what she was. His cockslut, yes.
“Please… need to cum!” she whined, turning her head to look at him. Fuck, he was so good-looking, so big.
A strong man, a big father to her babies.
Admiral Ren smirked proudly at her, at what he’d fucked her into.
He pulled back from inside her, and fucked her in hard and shallow thrusts, increasing pressure on her clit.
“Do it, little thing,” he moaned into her ear. “Fucking cum on my cock. Be my good cock-hungry slut, and I’ll cum inside you.”
Rey followed his command, screaming as she let herself fall over the edge.
She would’ve worried about the sound, but the rain was pouring so hard it was probably muffling them perfectly, keeping them isolated from the rest of the world.
She was willing to bet he wouldn’t care about anyone hearing them, even when it wasn’t raining.
Admiral Ren didn’t stop, moaning darkly and pounding into her as he held onto her hips, merciless.
“Fuck,” he moaned, squeezing her so hard she knew his fingers would leave a bruise on her skin.
Suddenly, she was filled to the brim.
He held her tight as he dumped his seed into her, and continued to fuck her, barely breaking a sweat as he made good work of painting her insides.
When he finally pulled out from inside her, slowly, his large hands squeezed her ass, and watched as his seed dripped out from inside her.
“Gorgeous,” he hissed, slapping her hard, and she whimpered. “Look at that, little thing.”
She looked over her shoulder at him, and Admiral smirked.
“There is no way you are not going to get pregnant,” he chuckled, spreading her ass.
Her cheeks flushed at the thought, and her cunt squeezed around nothing, dripping wet and sore.
"What’s wrong, little thing?” he cooed, taunting her. “Still horny for cock?"
Rey closed her eyes, whimpering.
"Please, admiral Ren," she begged, her mind just as foggy as the outside air.
She wanted his cock so badly, his big hands and his large body against her, filling her up.
“So pathetic,” he slapped her ass. “All cock drunk, my sweet wife.”
Rey arched her ass more, whining.
“Please,” she pleaded, more.
He wouldn’t leave her needy like this, right? He wouldn’t leave his wife.
"It’s a good thing that we got all night,” he dragged his words. “Right, little thing?”
. . .

The suns began to rise on the hills of the island. You stood on the rocks, clutching your brand new lightsaber while watching the waves crash upon the shore. You and your classmates were given your very own lightsabers the previous night. You ran your hands along the gray handle, too infatuated with it to notice one of your friends sneak up behind you.
"Whatcha doin?" he asked, jumping down on the rock next to you. You let out a small yelp. "Gods, Ben, you can't scare me like that." you breathed, clutching your chest. He sat next to you, criss cross. "Sorry," he smiled, staring into the sunset. "Why are you out here so early?" he yawned.
The truth was that you had another nightmare. Your parents being killed right in front of your eyes, and your sister being captured by an enemy order.
"Couldn't sleep." you lied. "What about you, hmm? Why are you awake?" you smirked. "That fish bread didn't sit well with me last night," he laughed. "Is there a real reason your actually out here?" he asked knowing you were lying, and you shrugged. He squinted at you, and changed the subject. "What do you think about these lightsabers, huh? What color crystal did you choose?" he asked, grabbing his out of his holster. You ignited yours, and showed off your white blade. "Oh wow, that looks really nice. Suits you well," Ben said, igniting his blue saber. You both gave each other a friendly tap between your lightsabers and laughed at the crashing noise of the two.
The two of you sat in silence again, watching the waves crash against the rocks below. Your mind wandered back to the nightmare the night before. "You know, if something's ever wrong you can tell me." Ben said, breaking the silence. You sighed. "I can feel it, through the Force that something isn't right." "I'm really okay Ben," you said, turning to face him. He looked at you with his sad eyes, his lips pursed together. His eyes wandered to the loose hair coming out from behind your ear, and he tucked it back where it belonged. That made you smile, then him smile.
A breeze flew by, and made you shutter. He extended his robed arm for you, and you joined him closer on the rock. "Why didn't you wear your robes?" he asked, holding you close to his warm body. "I didn't even think of it. I just left my hut." you sighed. "That's alright. I don't mind sharing." he smirked. After a while of enjoying each others company, the horn rang throughout the island for everyone to wake up. "Shit," you mumbled, breaking out of Ben's embrace. "Luke's going to kill us." you said, helping Ben up.
The two of you ran up the old stone stairs, giggling and tripping up almost each one. At the top, you were met with a very grumpy looking Luke. His arms were crossed, brown furrowed. "And what were you two doing this morning?" he asked, staring deep into both of you. "Uncle Luke, uh," Ben started, but you interrupted him. "It was my fault, Master Luke. I saw a group of birds and wanted to show Ben. That's all." you sighed, taking the fall for it. Ben looked over at you, eyes widened. "Miss Y/N, 10 laps around the island before breakfast. And Ben, since she lured you into this behavior, you get 5. I expect better from the both of you in the future. Now get running before the food gets cold!" he yelled, and you two took off running.
Ben finished his laps and stayed with you for your extra 5. You were exhausted after, breathing heavy. "H-how do you keep up?" you sighed, walking slowly into the dining hall. It was almost empty, as your other classmates were already gone from breakfast. "I don't know. Good genes?" he smirked, and you gave him a tiny nudge. "Shut it Solo." you replied, plopping the food down on your tray.
You two sat in the now empty cafeteria together, laughing. "Oh my gods his face- And what are you two doing?" Ben mimicked, making fun of his Uncle. "Yeah, well at least I'm not related to him. If you end up looking anything like him, oh gods, I'd feel so bad for you!" you laughed. Ben scoffed. "You think I'm gonna end up looking like that?" Ben asked, sort of disgusted. "I'm joking Ben. Your way better looking then Master Luke. I wouldn't worry about it, you've got a nice face." you laughed, realizing what you just said out loud. Oh gods did I just say that?
"Well, thank you," Ben blushed, looking down at his food. "I think you've got a nice face too," Ben said, his brown eyes meeting yours. You smiled, taking his hand under the table.
The cafeteria doors flew open, revealing an even angrier Luke. "And what is the meaning of this?" he yelled, your hand immediately letting go of Ben's. "W-we we're just-" Ben stuttered. "There is no time for any nonsense on this island. Another lap! Both of you!" he yelled, leaving the cafeteria just as soon as he entered. You and Ben waited for him to leave your sight, and burst out laughing.
You got up, and brought your trays to the garbage. "Some days I think he's full of it," you laugh, walking with Ben through the long hall. Your hands then connected again, almost naturally. You both stopped, and looked at each other. You felt the Force move around you two in a way you have never felt it before. "M-may I?" Ben asked you, taking your other hand in his. "Oh gods Ben," you laughed, leaning kissing the boy for what felt like forever. His hands moved to your waist and you two broke away. You stared at him towering over you as he put his forehead on yours. "Race to the end of the island?" he asked. "Your on, Solo." you smirked, breaking out of him embrace and making your way towards the doors. "Not fair!" he yelled after you, chasing you out of the dining hall.
