How good are they at hygiene?

All three keep themselves clean. Colette and Tess both prefer to shower while Risuto usually finds a warm spring to bathe in.

Knowledge of the world

When it comes to the world at large, all three vary in knowledge. Colette doesn't care for world politics, but she often catches world news on her phone via InstaChat and other social media. Tess in mortality didn't care about what went on in the world since she couldn't leave New York and live. Risuto knows much less about the world, stuck in his old samurai ways even well into his death.

Alcohol tolerance

Colette can't actually get drunk; her innate wyvern physiology disallows her from doing so. Since alcohol is naturally fire-friendly, any time she burps while drinking it, there's a chance a small flame escapes her mouth. Tess, being so small and not really one to eat much, would likely get drunk after one or two drinks in mortality. As an angel, her alcohol tolerance is technically increased, but she stopped drinking for Sergio's sake and never really found a reason to start again. Risuto doesn't mind a sake every now and then and has a high alcohol tolerance as a demon, though he keeps his drinking in moderation so he can protect Liu as best as he can.

Time management

Colette procrastinates a bunch when the time window to complete a contract is far enough away, but she still manages to make it on time when she leaves. Granted, she often drives uber fast in her sports car and potentially endangers lives while doing so, but she'd never killed anyone with her car; the blood would be a terrible addition to her convertible.

Tess's time management is practically immaculate; there have been many times where she gets the call to action and arrives at the nick of time to save someone, one example being @lycanspirited's Robin when his father tried to kill him. She's not one to waste time at all, and if there's any downtime, she's doing it to actively help others in the hopes that there will be fewer problems later.

Risuto is similar to Tess in that he wastes no time as well, only speaking to enemies when he offers the rare courtesy to walk away. Most of the time, if his enemies talk, they're cut short as a flash of steel cuts through the air...and their throats. Guarding Liu is a 24/7 operation, so unfortunately there is no downtime for him, though it doesn't mean he won't take some time playing Go with his friend when there's no other business to attend to.

Mathematics

All three have above average arithmetic ability. Both Colette and Tess worked as cashiers at one point, Tess moreso than Colette, so both have experience in counting money, for example. Risuto doesn't have any special arithmetic experience, but he ain't dumb. That's about as best as I can describe it.

🎵, 🍼, ⚽️, 📥, 🎭 for Shrike, Dana, and Liu

🎵 — singing

All three of them are pretty decent singers who have different expertise and genre preferences. Shrike likes to sing nu-metal, rock, and the occasional Japanese pop or rock (he looks up what the lyrics mean in his spare time). Dana is also into metal, especially songs from one of her favorite bands in Hell - the Pentagram Punishers. Being Chinese-American and bilingual, Liu would sometimes bust out an American song like this or a Cantopop song like this one.

🍼 — taking care of children

Because of his early life experience and occupation as a hired killer, Shrike is reluctant to consider himself a caretaker of children. However, if he has to care for a child or two, he would prove to be astonishingly competent, doing things such as coming up with games or reading them stories. He doesn't want any kids to go through the same things he had to go through, but this doesn't mean there aren't times when he becomes overprotective.

Dana, despite her decent child-caring skill, prefers to let a child take the rein (with supervision, of course) and would occasionally consult Tony for advice and the occasional help.

Due to his blindness, Liu would rather have other people care for the children. However, he wouldn't mind greeting and playing with them now and then. He loves it when they affectionately call him "Uncle Liu".

All three of them would refrain from drinking and smoking whenever kids are around.

⚽️  — sports

All three of them have experience with combat sports. Shrike could apply some aspects of his agility-based fighting style to basketball and soccer quite fluidly. Meanwhile, Dana is into weightlifting, marathon, and, if possible, volleyball, but she risks an early disqualification due to her supernatural speed. Liu could hold his own fairly well in a game of table tennis, but he would struggle with other forms of team-based sports.

📥 — organization

Shrike and Dana's ability to organize could be considered average. Their living places might not be arranged meticulously, but they don't resemble messy dens either. However, sometimes they would waste a few seconds looking for items they have accidentally misplaced. Due to Tony's influence, however, Dana would put extra effort into organizing compared to Shrike.

Liu, who was once a high-ranking gangster in life, would excel in organizing people in a group. While he could still spruce up and redecorate his office and living quarters to some extent, he would rely on Risuto or an accountant's assistance with more precise stuff such as files.

🎭 — performance art/acting

Shrike is a natural acrobat even before he receives his Harbinger training from Graves. The streets of New Ch'thon are lawless, so he needs to learn how to outmaneuver his opposition in any way possible. If he's in a situation where he must dance, for reasons innocuous or suggestive, he would fare reasonably well. As an assassin with a heightened sense of empathy, he can also persuade/deceive people to some degree, mainly through manipulating their emotions directly or indirectly. However, not all of his attempts are successful.

Since some of her repossession jobs require her to do more than fight her way through the opposition, Dana has learned how to disguise herself in various roles, whether being a janitor or a homeless person. While she can lie her way out of a paper bag if she has to, she prefers being herself for the most part.

Liu is a master of acting when compared to Shrike and Dana. He can appear as a harmless, benevolent, and reasonable man at one moment before changing his demeanor to a more direct, harsher, and sometimes violent one, and vice versa. To him, the greatest advantage he could have is never allowing his opposition a chance to anticipate his next move.

How does your OC spend a lazy day?

Colette: If there are no contracts to hit, she'll stream world record attempts for Shadow Souls on Tremble and order some delivery, maybe even catch up on a few episodes of YoYo's Wacky Quest.

Risuto: No day is lazy for Risuto, but on days where things are less eventful, he'll often spend time playing Go with Liu and look at Saki-chan a lot in her mother's restaurant.

Ajax: Like Risuto, no day is lazy for Ajax, but he'll spend some time reading about ancient war history partially to gain inspiration for battle tactics, and partially because he's a huge history nerd. Since his father worked in a library, he'll often head to one in whatever town he's in, and pray that the librarian will let him in.

What are your OC's pet peeves regarding food?

Colette: What used to be a pet peeve for Colette was if food wasn't spicy enough for her. She resolves this by carrying an emergency bottle of hot sauce within her waist bag.

Risuto: If Risuto were to go to America and check out what the country called "Japanese cuisine," he'd go on a tear. RIP your local Japanese shop.

Ajax: Considering how he struggles to get food in many Durtalian markets, he'd be hard-pressed to find any pet peeves regarding food. If you give this boy any sustenance, he'll probably cry, and soon the wilted flowers in your garden or home start to grow strong again, and the sun will feel more comforting to you by the next dawn.

Has your OC have any contradictory interests or traits to the first preception people have of them? How do they surprise people?

Uhhh....this question seems a bit oddly worded. I hope this answers the question, though:

Colette: Colette will get a bunch of different initial impressions, and they're either well off the mark or pretty spot-on. For example, when Shrike tried to kill her, he likely thought of her as a regular college-aged girl. What he didn't know was that she was an expert swordswoman and all around mad lass. However, others could see her eyes and know that there's mischief in those eyes. Your mileage may vary.

Risuto: I get the feeling Risuto subverts expectations. He's a tanuki, and tanuki look very cute and approachable in general. Yet if anyone gets within five feet of him, that person will lose a hand or two, and that's if Risuto is feeling merciful.

Ajax: To many people, Ajax's entire existence is a contradiction. What self-respecting tiefling would try to pass himself off as a paladin for Lathander? There were many within Lathander's fold who would want nothing more than to see anything remotely demonic erased from Durtal. Yet others would assume Ajax was a fraud. Yet after one minute of talking with him, one could see how much earnest devotion the tiefling has for the Morninglord, and perhaps one will be rooting for the tiefling to complete whatever crusade he's meant to tackle. Perhaps, still, one will be inspired to join him in his cause.

¹ A decillion is the easiest English translation, but nayuta is a Buddhist loan termword that means “many, many” in Sanskrit, and “going around cycles”  (輪廻って) is a roundabout of 輪廻 (rinne or Samsara, the endless cycle of death and rebirth Buddhists seek to break free from.)

² Tennyo can be translated as celestial angels as well, but they’re a concept borrowed from Chinese Buddhism so I went for an English phrase that was less loaded with Christian overtones.

⁸ Bliss here is ananda, another Buddhist loanword from Sanskrit that usually refers to the Buddha’s disciple but I couldn’t find any direct quotes to the individual so I chose to translate it as the emotion instead.

⁹ I’m 90% sure “top-class document days” is just a nonsensical pun (chouDOKYUU DOKYUU-mento) but choudokyuu originally referred to super-dreadnoughts (a superior type of battleship) so if anyone can spot a reference along those lines, feel free to let me know.

The literal translation is the “lower bound”, or “lower world”, but it’s always used to our world (down here, as opposed to heaven above). As a result, it’s often translated as say, the realm of mortals, in contrast to heaven or hell.
