Any time I see any gaalee, I sorta think like; Gaara cripples Rock Lee then they reconcile after the Kimimaro fight and they're supposed to just move on, but:
"How does Gaara handle this kind of thing? How does Rock Lee handle this?"
How do you go about this kinda traumatic incident? Gaara feels horribly guilty now that he's healing and learning. Rock Lee persevering through his injuries and accepting Gaara into his life. They're both learning and adapting to make the most of their lives. Every now and then, Gaara's guilt presents itself as a panic attack, and Rock Lee handles this by soothing him. Considering that Rock Lee is the one who actually went through this trauma, I wonder how he handles it.
I'm sure in this au there is ✨️ninja therapy✨️

Rating - Lovey-Dovey Cutesy-Wutesy Fluff

Tumblr media
Men who love you unconditionally as if it's a second nature to them. They lived the majority of their life with the idea that they're undeserving of the love they see on display in public, but you changed that for them. You mean the world to them and they'll do anything in their power to make sure you never feel the way they felt before they met you, your smile is worth more than any amount of Ryo in the world to them. (Kakashi, Choji, Kisame, Gaara, Juugo, + Anyone you see fit)
Men who will remember every single detail and aspect of you and your life. They'll easily be able to list your likes and dislikes perfectly without a single detail missed, some may even say they know you better than you know yourself. They just cant help it, seeing you happy and content means everything to them and being the cause of those feelings are a huge bonus to them. (Shikamaru, Shino, Neji, Rock Lee, Yamato, Obito, Might Guy, Asuma, + Anyone you see fit)
Men who are adorably romantic in their own unique way. Although they aren't the lovey-dovey romantic type, they still show you just how much they absolutely adore you, even if the world doesn't see it. Instead of expensive dinner dates, they prefer spending time chatting about the future you see having with each other while helping you prepare dinner. They appreciate the time they spend with you above anything, even if it's something as simple as tagging along with you while you run errands or the extra 2-5 minutes you two spend with your limbs intertwined with each others before the alarm goes off. (Naruto, Sasuke, Sai, Kiba, Itachi, Iruka, Jiraiya + Anyone you see fit)

Rockstar teacher and Student smut idea
Since summer break is almost over ☹️ should I make a fic about a rockstar being a teacher and a student fucks him in the locker room obviously the reader will be 18 and in 12th grade
or the reader could be an 18 year old student who catches another teacher fucking the rockstar teacher in the lunch room while no one is there and the reader pushes the teacher aside and the rockstar teacher and student do it. Should I turn this into a fic?
also which rockstar should I do if I make it? Also should I make one with each rockstar? If I make this fic idea a thing?
you can comment or leave me a message on my inbox anon or not ❤️❤️❤️ also please be specific with your ideas and what kinks you guys want in the fic

An anatomical/‘realistic’ drawing of Alien!Gaara from my AU. (POV you’re Lee drooling up at him.)
Go and read the fic here!!
Gaara just has a pretty average body type in the fic. Strong shoulders, back & chest from carrying things all day across long distances, a little lanky, a bit of a softer belly from resting when he can and eating well to keep up energy.
This took me 3 hours and I’m really happy with it! 🥰
[Please reblog to stop my hours of hard work from dying in your likes. This let’s others enjoy it and motivates me to write/draw more of this AU! <3]

Anything with Lee with a super masc female s/o 🙏🙏 she has a wolfcut/short hair, has tattoos, peircings and dresses in baggy men’s clothes (she’s super nice tho). Maybe how Lee is with her and how the other Konoha 11 react to it? Maybeee some nsfw too if she’s a dom?? Love your writing!
Rock Lee with a Super Masc Fem! S/O
Thank you for the request!
NSFW at the bottom!
When this boy decides he likes you, that’s final. He likes you.
So when he saw you, doesn’t matter what everybody else thinks. If they love you, great! If they don’t, he does!
Sooooo even if some might judge your appearance or not be interested, Lee certainly doesn’t. He’d rather just compliment everything about you. Everything.
At first, depending on how you two meet, you might be a little startled. He declared his “love” for you right away.
And you were shocked, maybe even alarmed.
He’s fascinated by your piercings. He wants to know where you got them! How many do you have?? Did they hurt??
Luckily for him, you’re not as mean to him as Sakura was by any means! In fact, you’re really nice, even if you don’t agree to be his partner immediately.
When he notices your tattoos, he’s also asking how many you have of those and what they mean to you.
Let’s say it takes a little bit, but you give bushy brows a chance. (He deserves a chance fr)
So now let’s say the two of you have been going out for a while.
If your clothes are baggy, trust me, he wants to borrow them. He’ll be the bf wearing his partner’s clothes ANYDAY. Give him your hoodie, or hell, your jeans. He’ll wear them.
If you’ve been together for a long time, he starts talking about wanting matching tattoos. (That’d be his first tattoo)
He constantly tells you how your short/wolf cut hair frames your face SO well. Even far into the relationship, he’s constantly complimenting your hair, your piercings, your face, your strength, and how nice you are too.
Even if you were mean, he probably would have called you an angel anyways. But he appreciates just how sweet you are to him.
NSFW
He’s down bad for you. No joke.
I can see him being the type to just come home, had a long day, and does he want to wet his dick? No. No he begs you to sit on his face.
If y’all have ever seen Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals, you’d know that Lee is kind of a perv….
So trust, he’s been thinking about this all day. Once this boy gets a taste, there is no turning back.
After all, you taste so good he could cum in his pants before he ever gets them off just from eating you out.
He whimpers. Next question.
It doesn’t take much to ride him into a blabbering, panting mess. He’s got so much stamina, but so little restraint and tolerance. He’s a MESS.
He’s very submissive with you.
I think he’d try to be in charge a few times, but it’s hard to be in charge when you just can’t handle small touches without shuddering and begging for more.
He’d just forget he’s supposed to be in charge, so it’s best to just stay in charge of things yourself.
If you’re like into like domming him, I could see him being a bit of a brat from time to time. Like how he purposely PLANS to use forbidden jutsu in the past, knowing the consequences. He’d be a brat on purpose, then take his punishment politely.
He’s got a high libido.
And like I said, a bit more silently a perv. Respectfully, in comparison to other guys. But this leads to him being willing to go for quickies in semi-public places like the bathroom or something if you’re willing.
I always think he’d look so pretty if he was overstimulated or denied his orgasm too many times. He’d beg to cum, or beg you to stop because he just can’t take it. He’s shaking at this point.
You two would need a safe word or color system (or both) because he cries for you to stop, but he doesn’t mean it so in order to know that, you’ll need the safe word to be a thing.
Sometimes, if you dom, he’ll act like a brat and punish himself pretty much immediately by saying he must make you cum as many times as you ask. Then tells you to give him a number. (Be realistic for your own body because he WILL follow through 😀)
Some of that nsfw was a little outta pocket. Sorry yall. I’m in love with this man. 😭

😂 Actually, do you have cool Naruto fic recs for someone who's never seen the show? I keep itching to start it so I can understand some of my friends' interests better but I would just rather... read things. And I know that the fics might not be accurate to personalities or plot, but if you have anything beginner-friendly or fun that might help my brain get more excited to make the effort and watch, I'll take it. I personally like relationship drama but I'm cool with whatever you've got.
i do!!! i watched naruto as a kid but i completely forgot most things so i got into it again by fanfiction. also as a side note; i apologize but i don't read from narutos point of view very often if at all as that is just a personal preference of mine, just a warning in case thats what you were looking for-- and my favourite character is sakura which you'll probably see lmao 😅
without further ado, here are some;
BEGINNER FRIENDLY NARUTO RECS
Pray My Name by Chancy_Lurking [G] [ONE-SHOT]
"Your name sounds like the kind of thing you say when you’re afraid,” Sakura finishes.  “A prayer,” Sasuke offers without looking away from the window.  (Team 7 takes a quiet moment to talk about what their names feel like.)
notes: there isn't much of a plot with this one but its a wonderful showcase of the bond that team 7 shares/could share. it floats beside canon not really connected but it could be, and i think its just a great introduction to the way team 7 should be imo!!
tdlr; team 7-centric, friendship/love, acceptance
Terror feeds the Soul by Pleasedial123 [ONE-SHOT]
Sakura is not an idiot. She was praised for her intelligence, reached Top Kunoichi at the Academy for her brains.  So it doesn't take her long after being placed on the powder keg that is Team Seven to realize she is going to die.  Kakashi, career shinobi since age-six, has no idea what the hell is going on with his little pink-haired student or why there is such fear in her eyes. So he gives her head-pats. That's what you do for scared puppies isn't it?
notes: some really good characterization with this one and a deeper look at the subtle hint of corruption/injustice in the shinobi world that canon already gives us.
tdlr; sakura-centric, sakura & kakashi, good characterization, worldbuilding
Just Killing Time by Elizabeth Culmer (edenfalling) [G] [ONE-SHOT]
After Wave Country and before the chuunin exam, Team 7 kills time while waiting for Kakashi to show up.
notes: an adorable small fic consisting of freindship and the idea of found family, they're just cute little kids in this and it makes me smile so hard.
tdlr; team 7-centric, friendship, found family, fluff
An Improper Apology Properly Backfires by rex101111 [G] [ONE-SHOT]
Sasuke Uchiha apologizes, or at least makes an attempt. Sakura thinks he could do better than THAT.
notes: its not every day i find a sasusaku fic that i genuinly enjoy, but this one both cracked me up and actually convinced me that they could work as a couple lmao, after some bad canon events, this fic shows a completely done sakura dealing with the fallout and it is gold. featuring naruto and kakashi as unwilling bystanders.
tdlr; sasuke/sakura(canon ship) and team 7-centric, anger issues, canon compliant(mostly), humour
Wildflowers and Incisors by Chancy_Lurking [T] [ONE-SHOT]
There’s a boy Sakura loves the way Naruto loves Sakura, in a shameless and open, but painfully unequal way. There’s a boy Sakura loves the way Hinata loves Naruto, in a way that feels no more like a choice than breathing. Neither of those boys need pretty girls. “We are all really pretty, though,” Ino assures her with a haughty sniff, crossing her leg the other way so her calf rests on Sakura’s shin. “They’re going to be strong, maybe even the strongest ever in the Hidden Leaf,” Sakura says and Hinata doesn’t need convincing, they both know it, so she doesn’t belabor the point. “So, we have to be stronger than them.” (The girls of Konoha band together as friends. Girlhood is easier in a group.)
notes: a wonderful look at the kunoichis in naruto, with friendship for once more important than love. gives them the character development and attention they deserve, but didn't quite fully get in canon.
tdlr; naruto girls-centric, girlhood and friendship, good character development
The Language of Faces by Empatheia [T] [ONE-SHOT]
Ino decides to help Sai learn to function in society. Sai does his best to keep up.
notes: now we're taking the focus off the main characters of naruto to focus on some great side characters-- ino and sai are both charecterized awesomely in this fic. they're awkward and don't really know how to function in society (being a ninja will do that to you) but they clearly grow to care and love for eachother dearly.
tdlr; sai/ino-centric(canon ship), great characterization, awkward first dates
Pushy and Loud and Brave and Proud by bluecatcups [M] [ONE-SHOT]
When Temari meets Shikamaru, she is twelve years old and she is everything she has ever been; pushy and loud and brave and proud. This is the story of who Temari becomes.
notes: thanks to this fic i fell in love with temari as a character. it is a character study at its heart and therefore it has SUPERB characterization, with believable romance and a theme of self-love. i adore this fic.
tdlr; temari/shikimaru-centric(canon ship), character study, romance, found family, self-love (TW for smut and suicidal thoughts)
NOT SO CANON COMPLIANT FUN
coming from afar & reaching for the stars by SafelyCapricious [G] [ONE-SHOT]
It had been two weeks since the trial. Two weeks since Sasuke had been given the choice of surrendering his eyes and being allowed to leave, or being stuck for five years without ever being allowed to leave the village. He had chosen the later. And Sakura isn't avoiding him on purpose, but it's still happening and she's kind of okay with it.
notes: a not so romantic retelling of sasuke coming back to konoha. i really enjoy the way sakura is characterized in this and the way all her friendships are potrayed (especially her and sai they are besties). instead of running into sasukes open arms, she decides she doesn't mind keeping to herself.
tdlr; sakura-centric, friendships, good charecterization, awkwardness, self-love
Rules Were Made to Be Broken by MotivationIsDead [T] [COMPLETED]
Kakashi wasn’t entirely sure he wasn’t hallucinating. Or suffering from heart failure. “I thought you were dead,” he said blankly. He might’ve been going into shock. Obito winced and rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish grin. “Yeah,” he said, tone stilted. “There’s actually quite the story behind that.” “I should hope so,” was Kakashi’s bland response.
notes: kakashi and obito if obito decided to not go through with his villainous plan. it is a ship, but the way the bond is potrayed just hits so good. something more than friendship and simple love and instead a deep trust, with banger characterization and development. a couple steps away from crack, i laughed so goddamn hard.
this entire fic can be summarized by;
kakashi and obito: fuck it we ball.
tdlr; kakashi/obito-centric(fanon ship), fix-it fic, humour, BAMF kakashi and obito (has an ongoing sequel!!)
Smiles in Spring by Kalira [T] [ONE-SHOT]
One spring day when they are very small, Ino meets a little girl with shy eyes, a beautiful smile, and pink hair, and immediately knows what she wants in her future. Ino's never had any qualms bending the force of her will on the universe to be sure she gets whatever she wants.
notes: ino and sakura are made for eachother in this fic and the progression of their relationship is adorable. some bonus friendship with shikamarau and choji.
tdlr; ino/sakura-centric(fanon ship), romance & friendship, fluff
Genuinely Delighted by Chancy_Lurking [T] [COMPLETED]
"Lee, in spite of how brash he might’ve seemed, still appeared to be incredibly considerate and Shino would feel wrong to just brush him off. His enthusiasm about asking Shino out was completely genuine, and that was enough to make Shino feel flattered. And anyway, Lee would probably prove to be much more pleasant company than some of the other guys Shino knew."
notes: just a fluffy post-canon fic about some more wonderful side characters, with romance and friendship. lee and shino are so unexpected but work so well in this fic.
tdlr; shino/rock lee-centric(fanon ship), romance & friendship, fluff
In The Forest by Senka Hitomi (LadyTegan) [T] [COMPLETED]
When the genius of Konoha returns from a mission in a catatonic state, it is up to his old teammate to delve into the depths of his mind and pull him back out. But the dangers of the mind are many, and the road to finding him may be more difficult than she could have imagined.
notes: god i could gush about this fic for so long. everything about it delights me, the characterizations, character development, relationships and just the careful way the plot was constructed. it comes together to form a very inrtiguing and engaging fic.
tdlr; shikimaru/ino-centric(fanon ship), romance & friendship, amazing plot, great characterization
On Qipao, Flirting, and Buying Drinks by needdl [M] [COMPLETED]
Tenten turned beautiful when she was nineteen.
notes: an if neji lived au done so well. the romance is both believable and beautiful.
tdlr; neji/tenten-centric(semi-canon ship), romance & friendship, fluff, coming of age (TW for smut)
About Face by wroth_and_ruin [T] [ONGOING]
A little yellow-haired boy saves Sakura from the bullies. And everything changes.
notes: one of my all time favourite fics it is full of character and life, and the friendship between sakura and naruto is so pure yet all-consuming. they are eachothers persons, eachothers sun, and the world that is being crafted is so engaging. featuring kakashi with teenage angst.
tdlr; naruto and sakura-centric, friendship, found family, fix-it fic, character and plot development, worldbuilding
HONOURARY MENTION
Retrograde Motion by Crunchysunrises [T] [ABANDONED]
From sixteen to eleven didn't feel like a big jump until she realized that she was now the best ninja in their class. And that tiny Sasuke hates her for it.
notes: the reason this is an honourary mention is because this is the fic that got me into naruto! the first one i read, and the first one that captivated me to read all 100k words (yikes..). so despite the fact that its abandoned im still gonna share it with you in case it interests you ;)
tdlr; time-travel, sakura-centric, great characterization, shit gets done
(i didn't even realize so many of my fav fics were done by chancy_lurking!!! huge shoutout to them they are awesome)
i have some more but i think i'll leave it at this; i hope you find at least one fic that enraptures you!!

Rock Lee x Reader x Neji Hyuga Love Triangle Relationship Headcanons
Tumblr media
𓆃 Very funny! The worst! This is a love triangle that either extinguishes as soon as it forms or it lasts for a painful amount of time!
𓆃 Because Rock Lee will just... tell you. If he has feelings for you, he'll just... let you know.
𓆃 At that point, you can either accept or decline. Either way, the love triangle wouldn't be a triangle anymore.
𓆃 Out of the Konoha 12, Lee has always been one of the most in tune with his emotions. He's able to identify his emotions, feel them, and isn't afraid to express them with relative ease.
𓆃 And so Neji, who isn't one for outward expression of emotions, will be outperformed in a game of initiative each time.
𓆃 There's a chance Neji may still have some feelings for you, given that you and Lee enter a relationship, but he isn't one to pine and make moves when you (or your relationship) are vulnerable.
𓆃 If anything, his affection for you will dissipate as passively as it formed, and if anything remains, it's handled in the distant future.
𓆃 Unlike Lee, Neji grew up in an environment where his thoughts and feelings were repressed. It takes him a significant amount of time to warm up to people and an even longer amount to ease into expressions of his emotions.
𓆃 The sustaining of a love triangle would be tedious: either because you somehow think Lee is joking or because you're unsure about dating.
𓆃 You'll end up having very honest and outward moments with Lee and softer, gradual moments with Neji.
𓆃 The dilemma with love triangles in the first place typically stems from a mutually strong bond with both potential love interests, but due to Neji's tendency to take things slow and Lee's nature of springing for things as soon as he feels, it makes the dynamic uneven
𓆃 Neji is also one to stew. He would be very reluctant to interrupt any time you spend with Lee— for fear of appearing overbearing although he would be the only one with that impression.
𓆃 But given that Lee would want to spend a significant amount of time with you by his very nature, you're bound to get moments where Neji wants/needs to speak to you and feels like he can't. And that bottled up resentment ends up being taken out on you.
𓆃 Neji is the king of the silent treatment and oftentimes resorts to passive-aggressive comments.
𓆃 Lee, always one to push himself and others, finds it hard to take "no"s from others if they aren't stated directly as a no. Anything that doesn't sound exactly like, "I am not interested in dating you, Lee" is something he'll have a hard time processing.
𓆃 If you find yourself stuck between these two and struggle with even mild confrontation... good luck.
Thank you to all who liked, reblogged, followed, and supported. Your support means so much and is greatly appreciated.

YOU’RE THE GIRL THAT I WANT, nikki sixx.
warnings: reader being mean to tommy, tommy and reader have a love-hate relationship, reader smoking, reader & nikki drinking, blood, reader is 17 (this is not mentioned).
author’s note: i'm not fluent in english, so, if there are any mistakes, let me know. I promise the next chapters will be better. good read<3
chapter two. chapter three.
Tumblr media
chapter one
“— that’s nikki fucking sixx.”
tommy's words get tangled up in my head while i do what i do best for the last twenty minutes. that includes: sit, wait for the waitress to bring my whiskey, continue reading my book and pretend i'm listening to my brother daydream about the last band we saw. after spending two hours in a bar with my brother, watching some bands i only knew from the pictures on his bedroom walls, since our mother doesn't allow tommy to go out without me, here i was. drinking and reading more and more, which was just a test to find out what managed to make me unconscious of tommy's voice first. i almost felt the alcohol start to work on me, but then, tommy again.
"— YN, IT'S NIKKI SIXX"
he "whispered" a little too loudly after throwing a sachet of ketchup at me to get my attention. i almost yelled at him for the red drop that stained my book page, but i thought the couple next to us staring like we were crazy was enough.
“— who?”
i said, visibly irritated. i didn't know who nikki sixx was and wanted to stay like that, but i also knew that the only way to stop that bastard was to let him remind me who that nikki was.
"— from the band we just saw.”
when he turned back, i followed his gaze to the familiar black-haired man we'd saw earlier. when he looks at me again it feels like he's in the same room as god. i laugh at his reaction and take another sip of my drink, not believing his excitement at seeing that guy.
“— should i go talk to him?” — he asks me, extremely nervous. before i can tell him to go, he has another idea. “— yn, we should talk to him!” — i know there's no helping it when he starts pulling me across the diner to the bassist with his bloody nose.
“— nah, nah, nah, tommy! don't do this! i don't want- you fucking brat!-” — are the only things i can mutter as i try to protest. it doesn't work out, since we got to the guy pretty quickly anyway.
nikki doesn't notice us, then tommy starts (in the worst way possible).
“— yo, that was badass, dude.”
i felt shame burn in my bones when he looked up, confusion in his eyes, like he was trying to remember us somewhere in his life. he looked at tommy first, his long messed up hair and the ridiculous leopard leggins he stole from athena earlier. then, he looks at me. i was wearing a tommy jacket that was twice my size, my makeup still hadn't completely melted and i was starting to get drunk. nikki had a long hair and deep green eyes that stayed in mine longer than I expected.
“—...the show, not the nose — he almost stuttered as he realized how strange what he said was. “— but.. the nose is pretty badass too.”
i look down as i cover my face with one of my hands, definitely cursing tommy for keep trying to fix what he said. i say something in a low tone, so only me and the two men can hear. “— shut up, thomas”
“— the singer is an asshole.” - is all he says before he stops staring at me. he seems upset and unwilling to start a conversation, what makes me wonder why we're still here. before awkwardness becomes present between us, tommy smiles at him.
“— i know! we saw the whole thing. but, hey, fuck him, though. he deserved it!”
the words didn't seem to comfort him much, who just ignored it and continued reading the newspaper in front of him. then, in a desperate attempt to get any attention from him, my brother spouts the dumbest line i've ever heard him say.
"— i got your poster on my bedroom wall.” again, he realizes reality automatically and the regret is visible in the way he avoids eye contact with the bassist. there is an eerie silence after he says this. a silence i break before he adds another idiocy.
“— i can't believe you just said that. - i felt tommy stare at me like he was screaming "you are not helping". i look at him, then at nikki. “— sorry, man. i'm yn, this is my brother, tommy. he still hasn't learned much about socialization.”
and he smiled, an act so quick i almost missed the way he looked at me before the waitress stopped beside us again. “— anything else i can get you, kids?” — before she could finish her sentence, tommy had already sat down in the chair across from nikki, and i just followed him.
nikki turned for her. “— could you get me a jack and coke?”
she nodded and wrote down what he asked. “— and for you?” — she asked tommy, who wasn't really hungry, but asked for something to continue the conversation.
“blueberry pancakes, please.”
then she looked at me, waiting for me to say something. “— a shot of strawberry liqueur” — her first reaction was to try to hide her laughter, the second was to ask for my id. in fact, i understood why. i really wasn't old enough to legally consume alcohol, and being between two guys who were noticeably older than me just made me look younger. i showed her my (clearly fake) id. obviously, she didn't believe i was 28, as it said there. no sane person would believe that, but she just walked away and said nothing.
“— my new band is gonna be something nobody’s ever fucking seen before.” — nikki tells us. he has such a dreamy bright ligh in his eyes, that for one moment, makes me think he could light up the whole city very easily. tommy also seemed enlightened at the idea of being able to be part of this future band.
nikki reads something in his paper and then circle with a red pen. I don't pay attention to what's written, but my brother is quick to pull one of his drumsticks from his belt and point to the circled text. “— that dude looks pretty cool.” — he says.
nikki smiles, looking a little frustrated. “— do you carry this with you everywhere?” — he points to the drumstick twirling between tommy's fingers.
“— yeah, he thinks he'll get the girls with this” — i say after looking at Tommy and seeing how he didn't know the best answer to that question.
“— where’d you learn to do that?” — nikki asks.
tommy's stick almost hits the floor when he notices the bassist's sudden interest. “— school marching band” — he answers. “— hey, but he rock’s too” — i add, trying to help him get along with nikki
the waitress arrives with our orders. nikki took the cap off the bottle and took the whole bottle. it wasn't actually a big bottle, but still tommy was impressed with what he made.
nikki smiled again, with a different aura.
“— are you from the city?”
“— yes, we are always around”
...
“— good to know.”
-
i watched tommy argue with a officer across the street, since our car had been fined. with every scream i heard from them, it was like hearing my parents' future screams at me. i took the cigarette that was tucked behind my ear and put it to my lips, hoping to find a lighter between my bag’s mess. i didn't find it. i dropped the bag from my hands, thinking that there was no way this shit could get any worse. we left the diner as soon as we finished our conversation with nikki. i had been standing here for over 10 minutes and i felt like i would soon be the next one to explode.
“— hey, yn, right?” — i heard someone say right after putting a hand on my shoulder. i turned around, and there was the bassist again. he analyzed my brother's situation for a few seconds before looking at me again. “— are you ok?”
i took the cigarette from my lips and forced a smile “— yeah, just… he still hasn’t got his driver’s license either”
“— you can say that.” — and despite how i was at that moment, i laughed. it was a good feeling. almost as i could forget what was really going on across the street. “— well, can i get your number? he's in, but we need to talk about the band.”
“— can you get me a lighter?” — i was going to pass the number for him anyway, i saw how excited tommy was about it.
nikki took a lighter out of her pocket and lit it, placing it closer to me. i held the cigarette between my lips again and leaned in, until the smell of nicotine invades my nostrils.
"- thaanks” — i said as i picked up my bag from the floor and started looking for something again. i took out a slightly crumpled cigarette and handed it to him, seeing the confusion on his face again. “— turn it.” — he obeyed, the same way i obeyed my mother a few months ago when she told me to write down our new number, so i wouldn't forget. i wrote it on a cigarette because it was the first thing i saw in front of me.
he stuffs the cigarette in his jacket pocket, along with the lighter, then turns to me again. “— i will need your brother to come to my house tomorrow. you can come too.”
“—ownt, thank you for the permission, sir.” — i laugh as i drag the cigarette again, and then crossed the street.

Subin smiled—But not just any smile, its the smile that she uses to tease people. "What? Why are you smiling at me like that?" "...You're joking right?" "Huh?" "You're fucking slow...." Subin pinched her nose bridge, "He likes you.". Your brows furrowed "No he doesn't.", Subin frowned "He definitely does." "No, I think he's just trying to be nicer and starts off with this." "Why'd he flip me off in the cafeteria then?" "Maybe he's trying to get used to it first, baby-steps you know?" Subin face palmed.

"That's what you've been doing wrong, the revelation method only applies if the circle you illustrated is almost a full circle not until it touched the line that connected both points and the northern line. You're not gonna create a full circle." Sucheon explained—he flipped through your solution page once more. "Thats the only thing you got wrong, you're good." "Thanks" You thanked with a smile, He cleared his throat. "Ok, I'll get going." He then stood up from the chair and walked away.
Subin and Jisuk (Who's definitely watching the whole tutoring session from who knows where) sat beside you as soon as Sucheon was out of sight.
Subin: First the waffles, next the sandwich, and now THIS?!
Jisuk: You still believing that he's just trying to be nice?
"Yeah?"
They sighed, Sucheon is still Sucheon when it comes to the rest—especially the two of them. You're a different case however.
Subin: You're fucking blind.
Jisuk: Ultra blind promax.

never both/pragmatic - nejiten week '24
day 1 - saudade (portuguese) The feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia. A yearning for happiness that has passed, or perhaps never even existed.
Tenten was surprised when she got the dinner invitation in the mail. She supposed she shouldn’t have been, though. It was just about time for the Team Gai monthly dinners—the weekend of the 15th of every month. Every month, on the fifteenth (or the weekend that corresponded or was closest to it—for practicality purposes), Gai-han would meet up at a local diner and have a meal together. They’d catch up and discuss how their weeks were, complaining about mundanities such as an annoying grocery store run or the pipes being frozen again due to the harsh Konoha winters. They might even share the details of their last mission—with Neji being a newly appointed Jōnin, it delighted Gai to listen to his student, whom he’d nurtured from a cynical little twelve year old, constantly angry at the world and stuck in his ways, to a mature, level-headed young adult who had finally begun to have faith in life. Who had finally allowed himself to dream and hope and love and laugh and everything in between.
It delighted Gai even more so when he’d notice, through the little passing details in Neji’s stories, that the Hyūga had subconsciously adopted some of Gai’s ways when leading a team of his own. It got him thinking how it would be for Neji if he were to ever lead a squad of Genins, someday. How his own experiences as a Genin and how Gai’s tutelage might subconsciously pass on to that new squad. Out of the three of them—Lee, Neji and Tenten—Neji was the least likely to verbally express affection. He wasn’t particularly good with flowery words, and he often struggled to articulate such feelings, courtesy of his upbringing, so it was much easier for him to show affection through his actions. He was always willing to go out of his way to help, even in small, almost unnoticeable ways such as filling up an extra water bottle just in case someone forgot to fill up theirs (usually Gai, ironically enough). Buying candy for Tenten if he noticed (which he always did) that her mood was down. Making time to spar with Lee despite their packed schedules, if only to indulge in that nostalgia and spend time with his friend, in their own special way.
He was dependable. Kind.
Contrary to what some might think, Hyūga Neji was so very kind. He was undeniably good, and it showed in his actions. It bled through to his morals and how he conducted himself.
So for Gai to have his legacy passed on so tangibly, subconsciously no less, and to be able to see that with his own eyes… It was a feeling of accomplishment unlike any other. No amount of successful S-Rank missions or victories could trump the feeling of knowing you made a difference in someone’s life. Of knowing your influence on someone changed the course of their life for the better, even if only by a little bit.
This would be the first Team Gai dinner since Neji had died in the Fourth Great Ninja War.
This would be the first Team Gai dinner as a squad of three, not four.
Tenten looked at the invitation again. It was from Gai-sensei, inviting her to the local yakiniku place they’d been to so often in the past. Sometimes they’d go after missions, and Gai would treat them to reward their success, or even to uplift them after a failure; to remind them that there’s always a next time. Sometimes they’d go for celebrations—birthdays and rank promotions and such. And sometimes it was simply an excuse to see each other again, amidst all the responsibilities of being older, more dependable shinobi. Sometimes it was just an excuse to enjoy each other’s company and be together, if only for a night, like they’d grown so accustomed to in their earlier years.
It had been so long since Tenten had met up with Gai-sensei and Lee, outside of formal business of some sort. It was just too painful.
Over the past year or so after the war, Tenten and Lee alternated taking care of Gai. After the many months he spent bedridden in the hospital, during which they would alternate visiting him almost everyday, it was a given that one would see Gai strolling around the village in his wheelchair, accompanied by one of his former subordinates. It was like an unspoken agreement had been signed between Lee and Tenten: always one of them, and never both. It was easier that way.
When one of them was alone with Gai, it was easier to pretend that the two absent teammates were off doing their own thing. It was easier for Tenten to pretend, if only for a little bit, that Lee and Neji were off training at their usual spot, and it was easier for Lee to pretend that Tenten and Neji were taking a stroll around the village, or even hanging out at a tea shop, like they’d taken to doing at some point down the line. It was easier to ignore that gaping hole Neji’s death had left behind. That missing limb that overwhelmingly hindered the movement of the body as a whole. It was easier to ignore than to try and adjust to it—to the missteps and phantom pains and jerky movements.
Too soon after the war, shinobi were forced to take on new roles and responsibilities befitting the new needs of the village and the Allied Shinobi Forces as a whole, which put their grief on the back burner, and at some point, they eventually got too caught up with their own lives (which was, as much as Tenten hated admitting it, somewhat of a coping mechanism to deal with the loss of someone so significant) that they stopped seeing each other and meeting up. In the process of ‘dealing with’ (i.e. forgetting) and moving on from the loss of Neji, they ended up moving on from their bond as a team and all the memories they’d shared. It was easier to cut each other clean off and fully move on from team Gai as a whole than it was to try and pick the pieces back up and reconstruct it, this time wholly aware of the missing member.
That’s why, over the past year or so, Team Gai had let the distance get between them. They surrendered to it. Let it cause a chasm between them and then some. It was better for them to drift apart with love and goodness and grace and well-wishes in their hearts than to let the grief overwhelm them and drive a vicious wedge between them, like it had during those days immediately after the war. The way Tenten saw it—and she felt that Lee no doubt thought the same—it was better for Team Gai to dissolve naturally and amicably.
And for a while, that worked. Terrifyingly well.
The world had already begun to move on from the War, and the village was mostly rebuilt. People—shinobi and civilians alike— were rebuilding their lives and getting used to this era of peace. It was weird. It honestly still felt surreal most days. Tenten—any shinobi in general—was so used to being on edge all the time, and constantly preparing for the worst. Her fight or flight response was always either on edge or at the forefront, waiting like a dog poised to strike. But now, there was no war anymore, and though the effects of it could still be seen and felt everywhere, people were starting to acclimate. She didn’t need to conceal knives on her person anymore when going out. She didn’t need to sleep restlessly anymore.  She would be okay. She was okay.
︶⊹︶︶୨୧︶︶⊹︶
At the last second, Tenten reached for her mascara again, unscrewing it and giving her lashes one last coat. She knew it was probably unneeded, but she did it anyway, and she felt better. She was still getting used to that—doing things for the sake of doing them, knowing they served no real purpose.
Tenten was… pragmatic. Very much so. And don’t get me wrong, that is a wonderful quality for a shinobi to possess, but Tenten found she no longer needed that. Well, not as much anyway. Her pragmatism had helped her solve countless problems successfully in the past, and it was one of the reasons she and Neji worked so well together. They were both sensible, if not a little hard headed at times, and they understood each other. To their friends, it always seemed like those two were moving in a rhythm inaudible to everyone but themselves. They were best friends, in every sense of the term. They somehow always knew what the other was thinking, and what to do. And part of that was because they were similar in that way—stubborn, sure, but willing to compromise when the situation called for it.
Pragmatic.
Which is why Tenten says her pragmatism helped her in the past, but she would be the first to admit that it also held her back from many things.
‘It would be too difficult,’ or, ‘Our backgrounds are too different.’ Or perhaps even the worst one, ‘We’re probably better off as friends.’
All things Tenten had said to herself in the name of being realistic. Pragmatic.
All excuses Tenten used to hold herself back from doing what she wanted to do, just for the sake of it. Shinobi fell in love. It was nothing unheard of—I mean, they were human after all. It was expected, even. Everyone was harrowingly aware of the risks being a shinobi entailed, and for most, quitting was not an option, so it was up to them to decide whether or not they would pursue a romantic relationship.
It was up to them to decide which they were going to sacrifice: a chance at love, or their career. Because, in their world, it unfortunately had to be one or the other.
The choice was obvious. The pragmatic choice was obvious.
And both Neji and Tenten were pragmatic.
So they chose their careers.
When faced with the choice of being best friends and continuing to toe that line like they’d been doing for so long, or being lovers, and discovering an entirely new part of themselves—tasting an entirely new flavour they hadn’t even known existed—they chose the former. Because it was always one, and never both. And that was fine, for a while.
In fact, if that had been the end of it, Tenten imagined, perhaps terribly and selfishly, then maybe the aftermath of his death wouldn’t have been as hard. And maybe that made her a terrible person. Maybe she was terrible for wishing he’d never confessed and they’d never kissed. Maybe she was terrible for wishing he hadn’t given her a taste of what she longed for for so long, only to cruelly take it away before either of them were ready. And she knew it wasn’t his fault, but part of her couldn’t help but blame him. And maybe that made her a terrible person; she didn’t know.
But for now, she was content with doing small, pointless, impractical things like putting on another coat of mascara, just for the sake of it. She’d swallow the lump in her throat and put on a brave face and walk out, and she’d do things just because she wanted to. Just because it made her feel better.
︶⊹︶︶୨୧︶︶⊹︶
They’d both shown up.
“Hey,” she greeted, once she’d spotted the two green-clad men waiting by the entrance of the restaurant. She’d gotten there a few minutes early, but here they were, arriving even earlier.
“Tenten!” It was Lee.
While Lee had jumped at the opportunity of this dinner, craving the nostalgia like it were a physical thing, Tenten was a bit hesitant. Still, they had both shown up. She smiled. How very predictable of Team Gai.
Maybe things weren’t that different after all.
It was awkward at first. After exchanging pleasantries, they entered the restaurant and took their seats at the reserved booth. The thought of making small talk with people that were once so engraved in each other’s very being was unbearable. The view of the vacant seat at the table was also unbearable—it had been so long since they’d met up like this for dinner that, when Gai-sensei was making the reservation, he accidentally asked for a table for four instead of three. Force of habit.
But they managed.
“How have you been, Tenten?” Gai asked, voice mellow. Him and Lee had remained pretty close through it all, partly because of Lee’s self-imposed duty to care for Gai most of the time, and partly because those two had always had a special bond that not even Neji and Tenten could get between. Tenten shrugged noncommittally, replying with that customary reassurance that made it seem like she was very busy while simultaneously downplaying whatever it is she’d been busy with since she’d last seen them. He nodded kindly, and the three of them started chatting mindlessly about nothing in particular. It was obvious that they were ignoring the elephant in the room. Neji’s loss—his absence at this table—was so palpable it was almost taking up the space of the would-be conversation.
“I miss him,” Tenten sighed, almost bluntly. Flippantly. She didn’t know what reaction she was expecting, but the willing avoidance was getting suffocating. She knew everyone was thinking that, so why didn’t anyone say it?! Why couldn’t anyone give her that relief? Why was everyone—her included, she realised belatedly—so hell-bent on forgetting him, when he had been such a core part of who they were for so long? She missed him. She missed talking to him— about him. She didn’t like that no one brought him up anymore, as if he’d never even existed. He deserved to be celebrated and remembered, for God’s sake! That was the least they could do for him.
“Me, too,” Lee murmured, uncharacteristically resigned. “It’s unbearable, most days.”
Immediately, pressure built up behind Tenten’s eyes, and she vaguely regretted putting on more mascara. “Yeah,” she whispered, almost in wonder, “it is.”
And surprisingly, that was what broke the tension.
Or maybe it wasn’t surprising or weird or unexpected. Maybe that made perfect sense. Because Team Gai was never one for stuffy formalities or beating around the bush—they knew each other too well for that.
Gradually and ever so tentatively, the dinner took on an air of normalcy, and things were almost like the old times—almost. They were able to actually speak to each other again for the first time in what felt like a lifetime, without being snappy or short-tempered, or feeling like their words weren’t reaching through to the other person. They were finally able to acknowledge their loss together, and weirdly enough, it made them feel lighter than they had in ages.
︶⊹︶︶୨୧︶︶⊹︶
“It’s getting late,” Tenten yawned, stretching her arms over her head. “We should probably go before we get kicked out.”
With a frown, Lee responded, “Yeah. You’re probably right.”
They, reluctantly, said their goodbyes. She’d originally thought this would be awkward, but she realised with a pang as she was walking away that she didn’t want to go.
“Tenten!” Lee called out from a distance away, and she turned around.
“What is it?” she called back.
“Don’t be a stranger.”
Her breath hitched, and the only thing she could do was nod vigorously and hope he saw it.
She would be okay. They would be okay.

Trough the Lens: A Mötley Crüe fanfiction - Chapter One
Hi!
So the other day I made a post aboute writing a Mötley Crüe Nikki Sixx x OC fanfiction.
I did it!
I am bit nerves posting it cause english is not my first language so this was a bit hard, and even tho I asked some help from Google and transolaters to fix my grammer mistakes probobly there are still some mistakes left or wrong usage of words. But I hope it's still enjoyable.
If you read this have fun and let me know if you think and if you'd like a second chapter for it.
XoX - V
Chapter 1: "The Beginning"
The band members of Mötley Crüe sat huddled around a cluttered table in Nikki's flat, the air thick with anticipation and the remnants of their brainstorming session. Empty beer bottles mingled with scattered papers, evidence of their search for the perfect promotional plan and a testament to the chaos of their creative minds.
Tommy tapped his fingers impatiently against the table, his dark eyes darting restlessly around the room in search for inspiration. The weight of their first gig hung heavy in the air, a silent reminder of the task at hand.
Suddenly, Nikki's voice shattered the silence, cutting through the haze of uncertainty that had settled over them.
"Alright, guys, time to get down to business," he declared, his tone commanding attention.
Vince lounged back with a smirk, tossing out a suggestion that earned a mixture of amusement and disdain
"A little spray-painted graffiti on the side of Sunset Boulevard could drum up some serious buzz”
Nikki shook his head with a wry smile.
"As much as I appreciate the guerrilla marketing approach, we need something more polished," he said, running a hand through his tousled hair as he leaned forward, his gaze fixed on his bandmates.
Mick nodded in agreement.
Nikki arched an eyebrow, his gaze locking onto Tommy’s with a curious intensity.
"Do you have any ideas, Tommy?"
A mischievous grin spread across Tommy's face as he leaned back in his chair, confidence radiating from every pore.
"Actually, I do," he declared, capturing the attention of his bandmates.
"My sister, Katie, she's a photographer. She could help us make some flyres with some killer shoots."
The mention of Tommy's sister piqued the band's interest. They had heard stories about Katie Lee, Tommy mentioned her a lot, but none of them had ever met her.
Mick, ever the pragmatist, cut to the heart of the matter with a single question.
"Is she any good?" he asked, his skepticism evident in his gravelly voice.
Tommy's response was immediate.
"She's incredible," he declared, his voice brimming with pride.
"She's been working as a photographer in downtown LA for the past two years, but she has been obsessed with photography since we were kids. Trust me, guys, she's the real deal. "
Vince grinned.
"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's go pay Katie a visit and see if she can work her magic for us."
As their car glided to a halt in front of SutterLux Studios, the first thing that caught their eyes was the imposing sign, polished to a mirror like perfection, a testament to the studio's prestige as it boldly announced its name to the world. It stood as a beacon of elegance amidst the bustling cityscape, its modern architecture a symphony of clean lines and sleek facades that mesmerized passersbys. Every detail, from the smooth curvature of the walls to the precise symmetry of the windows, spoke of craftsmanship and artistry that left an indelible impression on all who saw it. Surrounding the entrance, a meticulously curated garden, a lush oasis of greenery, provided a tranquility to the building's exterior.
As they stepped out of their car, the band's rock and roll style clashed brilliantly with the polished surroundings. Leather jackets, ripped jeans, and a smattering of tattoos made for a striking contrast against the backdrop of elegance.
Stepping into the studio, they were greeted by a receptionist girl seated at a marble-topped desk, her workspace packed with notepads and notebooks in neat order wich spoke volumes about her attention to detail. With a shy smile playing on her lips, she chirped a warm welcome, while her eyes scaned the group of men before her.
"Welcome to SutterLux! What can I help you?” her voice was light and airy.
Tommy leaned casually against the desk, flashing his trademark grin as he addressed her.
"Hey there, we're here to see Katie Lee. Is she available?" he inquired, his voice laced with confidence.
The receptionist's bashfulness only added to her charm as she inquired about their appointment, her eyes flitting towards the calendar as she searched for any openings.
"I'm her brother, and I just want to talk to her if she's free," Tommy explained with a nonchalant shrug, his charm evident in every word.
Recognition flickerd on the receptionist's face as she realized who Tommy was
"Oh, you're Katie's brother Tommy? She's mentioned you," she remarked, her shy tone melting into a warm, friendly demeanor.
"Let me see if she's available. Please take a seat. I'll be right back."
With a graceful gesture towards the plush black sofas on the other side, she disappeared into the depths of the studio, leaving the band members alone in the lobby. The air crackled with anticipation as Vince, Mick, and Nikki exchanged nervous glances, unsure of what to expect when they finally met Katie Lee.
As the receptionist girl reappeared with Katie by her side, the room seemed to brighten with her presence. Her fiery red hair cascaded down her shoulders like a waterfall of flames, framing her face with an aura of vibrant energy. Her eyes twinkled with a mischievous sparkle, and every step she took radiated confidence.
"Tommy!" Katie exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine delight as she enveloped her brother in a tight hug.
"What are you doing here?"
Tommy returned the hug with equal enthusiasm, his grin stretching from ear to ear.
"We came to see you, sis," he replied, pulling back to gaze at her with fondness.
"Who’s we?” she asked couriously as her gaze shifted to the other men standing behind Tommy, her smile widening at the sight of them.
"Nikki, Vince, and Mick," Tommy introduced, gesturing to each member of the band in turn. "Guys, this is my sister, Katie."
The band members exchanged greetings with Katie, their admiration for her evident in their eyes. Her easygoing demeanor and magnetic charm left an impression on each of them, drawing them in with her infectious energy.
"Do you have a little time to spare for us sis?” Tommy asked eagerly.
"I hope so.” Katie replied with a grin.
"Sam, when's my next client scheduled to arrive?" Katie turned to the receptionist girl, who quickly returned to her desk.
Sam scanned the schedule and checked the clock on the wall before responding,
"You've got about an hour and twenty minutes until your next appointment."
Katie nodded thoughtfully.
"Great. In that case, why don't we head over to that coffee shop down the street? We can grab a table and chat," she suggested, turning back to the band with a warm smile.
"Sounds like a plan," Tommy cheered, his excitement matching hers as they left the building.
As Katie and the band strolled down the bustling streets of downtown LA, the city pulsed with an electrifying vitality and amidst the vibrant chaos, they sought refuge at a quaint corner table in a cozy café, where the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped them like a warm embrace.
After placing their orders, Nikki leaned forward, his piercing blue eyes fixed on Katie.
"So, Katie, Tommy's been singing your praises as a kickass photographer," his voice as smooth as silk. "We're on the hunt for someone with your skills to help us make a splash with our upcoming gig."
Katie nodded, her interest piqued.
"I'm all ears," she replied, leaning back in her chair.
Tommy, unable to contain his excitement, leaned forward eagerly.
"We've headlining at the Starwood Club next month," he announced, a grin spreading across his face. "But we're not just looking to play; we want to rock the joint!"
"And to light up that stage, we need some badass posters, flyers, and all that jazz, something that draws  a lot of people in" Vince chimed in, his voice hyped.
Katie soaked up their vibe, a glint of excitement dancing in her eyes.
"Consider it done" she declared, a smirk tugging at her lips.
"But first could guys maybe show some of your music for me? Just to get a better image of Mötley Crüe.”
The band exchanged looks, a smirk playing on their lips.
"We'll crank up the amps and give you a taste," Tommy promised, a grin spreading across his face.
"You just got a backstage pass to our sonic circus," Nikki added, a playful twinkle in his eye.
"Why don't we invite you to my place? We've got a rehearsal space set up there, so you can experience what we're all about."
Katie's eyes gleamed with excitement.
"That sounds perfect," she exclaimed, a radiant smile gracing her lips.
"Then it's settled," Mick declared with a decisive nod. "We'll make our way to Nikki's place once we're done here."
With the first part of their plan solidified, the band and Katie lingered over their drinks, their conversation flowing with easy.
As the time drew near for Katie's next appointment, the group decided to escort her back to work. Upon the arrival, Katie vanished into the studio to finish her job for the day.
As the band settled into the reception hall, time seemed to stretch out before them, each minute feeling like an eternity as they waited with for Katie's return.
At long last, the door creaked open, and Katie emerged with a satisfied smile playing on her lips.
"Sorry for the wait, guys," Katie apologized, her voice carrying a note of excitement as she joined the band.
"I'm ready to roll now."
With a renewed sense of anticipation, Katie and the band made their way to Nikki's car, the excitement practically crackling in the air around them. As they headed to the Sunset Strip, Katie couldn't suppress the thrill bubbling within her, eager to delve deeper into the realm of rock 'n' roll.
Arriving at Nikki's apartment building, Katie was greeted by a surge of excitement at the thought finally getting to know the band wich her brother was part of.
As Mötley Crüe and Katie entered Nikki's flat, they were greeted by a space that perfectly encapsulated the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. Posters of iconi musicans adorned the walls, while instruments were scattered haphazardly around the room. Amplifiers hummed softly in the background, hinting at the music that was created within these walls.
The furniture was a mix of vintage pieces and modern comforts, giving the space a lived-in yet stylish vibe. A plush couch sat against one wall, its cushions worn from years of use, while a sleek bar area beckoned from the corner, stocked with an impressive array of spirits.
Nikki led the group into the room with a grin, gesturing for them to make themselves at home. "Welcome to my humble abode, where the magic happens" he said, a twinkle in his eye turning to Katie
"Make yourself comfortable."
As Katie and the rest of the band settled in, Nikki made his way to the fridge, a mischievous glint in his eye.
"Alright, folks, what'll it be?" he called out, opening the fridge door to reveal an assortment of beverages.
"Beer, wine, whiskey? You name it, I've got it."
The band members exchanged glances, a collective smirk crossing their faces.
"Surprise us, Nikki," Vince replied, a playful edge to his voice.
Nikki chuckled as he retrieved a selection of drinks from the fridge, passing them out to the group with a flourish. As the band settled in with their drinks, Nikki turned to Katie with a grin.
"Are you ready for your private show, Katie?" he asked, his eyes alight with anticipation.
Katie's face broke into a wide smile.
"Absolutely," she replied, excitement coursing through her veins as she leand back comfortably in the couch, drink in hand. With a casual ease, she propped her legs up on the coffee table, fixing her gaze on the band with eager anticipation.
With that the band took their place on the stage, wich was the other side of Nikki’s living room, and launched into their first song. The music was filling the room with its raw energy. Katie's eyes danced with delight as she listened, completely captivated by the electrifying performance unfolding before her.
Song after song, Mötley Crüe poured their hearts and souls into their music, each note resonating with passion and intensity. Katie couldn't help but be swept away by the sheer talent and charisma of the band, her appreciation for their music growing with each passing moment.
As the final chords faded into silence, Tommy and Nikki took their seats on either side of Katie, their faces flushed with exhilaration. Vince and Mick settled into the armchairs surrounding the coffee table, their expressions mirroring the sense of accomplishment that filled the room.
"So, Katie, what did you think?" Nikki asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice.
Katie's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as she took a sip of her drink, considering her response.
"I loved it," she said, her voice filled with genuine admiration.
"Each song had its own unique energy"
With the mood buoyed by Katie's praise, she launched into her ideas for the flyers and posters, drawing inspiration from the music she had just heard.
The band members listened intently, nodding in agreement as Katie outlined her vision for the promotional materials.
"I love it," Vince exclaimed, his eyes shining with enthusiasm.
"It sounds like you really understand our vibe and what we're all about."
Katie smiled, feeling a surge of pride at the band's reaction.
"I'm glad you think so," she replied.
"I can't wait to get started and see what we can create together."
As the excitement of their collaboration filled the room, Katie and the band members of Mötley Crüe quickly settled on a date for the photoshoot.
"How about Saturday, two days from now?" Katie suggested, her eyes alight with enthusiasm.
The band members exchanged eager nods, they couldn’t wait to see Katie's vision come to life. "Sounds good to us," Nikki replied, a grin spreading across his face.
"We'll make sure we're ready to rock and roll."
With the date set and plans in motion, the group toasted to their upcoming photoshoot, excitement buzzing in the air. As they continued to chat and laugh late into the evening, Katie couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the creative journey that lay ahead.
As the evening wore on and the excitement of their collaboration began to wind down, the band members of Mötley Crüe started to make their exit.
Vince, with a mischievous glint in his eye, rose from his seat, his voice laced with playful banter.
"Alright folks, see you on Saturday. I'm off to see my girl" he declared, his announcement met with teasing cheers from the rest of the group.
Shortly there after, Mick followed suit, offering a nod of farewell before vanishing into the nocturnal embrace of the city.
Tommy glanced at his watch, realizing it was time to pick up his new flame.
"I better get going, my date is waiting" he said, flashing a grin at the others.
"New girl?” Katie asked quirosly.
"We will see” he answered with a huge smile still plaster on his face
"But before I head out, Nikki, do you mind taking Katie home?"
"I'd be happy to make sure she gets home safely." Nikki nodded in agreement, a warm smile on his face.
Katie smiled gratefully
"Thank you, Nikki," she said
"I appreciate it."
With goodbyes exchanged Tommy dissapiered and soon after Nikki and Katie made their way down from the flat to Nikki's car, the cool night air greating them as they stepped out side. They exchanged casual banter as they walked, their laughter echoing off the surrounding buildings.
"So, Nikki, where did you and my brother crossed paths?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.
Nikki's gaze drifted to the road ahead, a nostalgic smile gracing his lips as he recounted the story.
"Well, it was after I had a falling out with my former band's singer and decided to quit London," he began, his voice tinged with nostalgia.
"I was feeling pretty lost and unsure of what to do next."
He paused for a moment, lost in thought, before continuing.
"I found myself sitting in a diner, flipping through the ads of musicians looking to join a band," he explained.
"That's when Tommy walked up to me out of the blue."
A smile tugged at the corners of Nikki's lips as he recalled the memory.
"He was this cocky guy with wild hair and an even wilder personality," he said.
"I remember him saying he had my poster on his bedroom wall” he laughed and Katie started giggeling next to him.
"And then he just seated himself infront of me and started twireling his drum sticks and as they say the rest is histroy”
Katie glanced over at Nikki, a smile playing at the corners of her lips.
"It's amazing how things just seem to fall into place sometimes," she remarked, her voice filled with admiration.
"It's like the universe has a way of bringing people together when they need it."
Nikki nodded in agreement, a thoughtful expression on his face.
"Yeah, it's funny how life works out like that," he replied, his voice tinged with reflection. "Sometimes the most unexpected encounters can change the course of your life in ways you never imagined."
They fell into a comfortable rhythm of conversation, sharing stories and laughter as they made their way through the city streets. Before they knew it, they had arrived at Katie's apartment building, the glow of the streetlights casting a warm halo around them.
As Nikki pulled up to the curb, he turned to Katie with a smile.
"Well, here we are," he said, his tone lighthearted.
"Thanks for the company, Katie. I had a great time tonight."
Katie returned his smile, a sense of warmth and gratitude filling her chest.
"Thank you for the ride, Nikki," she replied, her voice sincere.
With a final wave goodbye, Katie stepped out of the car and watched as Nikki drove off into the night. As she made her way up to her apartment, a sense of contentment washed over her, grateful for the unexpected connection she had formed with Nikki and the band.

weathering the storm|shikasaku—part one

✦ summary: The lost years and everything in between. —Shikamaru/Sakura

(Kaguya does not accept Sakura as a summoner and bonds do not break no matter how much she wants them to).

She's never needed help.
Once upon a time, he admired that. Sakura was the only one in their graduating class who could keep up with his intellect and line of thought. She was thorough, resourceful, curious—and intelligent. If she ran into a problem, she would tackle it from all sides, take root in the library, and figure something out through deductive reasoning. This started before the academy. Though now that he thought about it, this happened more or less when he wasn't speaking to her—when Chouji wasn't speaking to her because of Ino.
Shikamaru scowls into his pillow.
Hell, she's never asked for help either, or if she did it was to Iruka-sensei.
But everyone went to him.
So now she's bypassed him and went straight to his father. Is his advice not good enough? Was he not smart enough? Did it even matter? His nails dig into his sheets: why was this bothering him?
The door slides open and Shikaku stands beside Sakura. He says gruffly, "Shikamaru, I'm going out into the forest with Sakura-chan. Tell your mother I'll be back before dinner."
Shikamaru stares at his father incredulously. He cannot be this exhausted. His father wanted to take an outsider into the Nara Forest. Ino and Chouji, obviously were the exception having been on the same Genin team and their family being friends for generations. The Nara Forest is private land, closed to the general population—it is sacred land, meant for his clan and clan-adjacent members.
He scrambles up, "I'll come with you."
Sakura stares at him in confusion, "Are you sure? You were pretty tired earlier."
Shikamaru snaps, "I can handle myself just fine, Sakura."
Sakura flinches at his hard tone and flickers her gaze to her shoes in an attempt to subdue her emotions. She retorts weakly, "Right."
Shikaku flares his nose at the slight and glares at his son in disapproval.
