1 Skin Care Product That Actually Helps People with Rosacea: Sokörpe's 20% 3-O-Ethylated Ascorbic Acid Solution
For those suffering from rosacea, finding effective and gentle skincare products can be a challenging task. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness, flushing, and sometimes small bumps on the face. While there is no cure for rosacea, there are products available that can help manage its symptoms and improve the overall condition of the skin. One such product that has been gaining attention in the skincare community is Sokörpe's 20% 3-O-Ethylated Ascorbic Acid (EAA) Solution with Propanediol and 0.5% Ferulic Acid.
Before delving into the specifics of this product, let's first understand the significance of vitamin C in skincare. L-ascorbic acid (LAA), commonly known as vitamin C, has long been praised for its antioxidant properties and its ability to fight signs of aging. However, traditional LAA formulations have certain limitations. The molecule's physicochemical properties do not favor optimal skin uptake, and it is prone to oxidation when exposed to air, leading to reduced efficacy over time.
In an effort to overcome these challenges, Sokörpe's laboratory has developed a stable vitamin C derivative known as 3-O-Ethyl-L-Ascorbic Acid (EAA). This compound undergoes a meticulous purification and separation process from traditional vitamin C, resulting in a stable and potent form of vitamin C that is less likely to degrade on exposure to air.
The inclusion of 20% 3-O-Ethylated Ascorbic Acid in Sokörpe's solution provides an impressive concentration of vitamin C, ensuring a significant boost in antioxidant protection. Antioxidants play a crucial role in neutralizing free radicals that damage the skin and contribute to premature aging. By incorporating this stable form of vitamin C, the product can effectively combat oxidative stress, promoting a healthier and more radiant complexion.
Propanediol, a common skincare ingredient derived from corn sugar, is another key component of Sokörpe's solution. Propanediol acts as a humectant, helping to draw moisture to the skin and lock it in, which is especially beneficial for individuals with rosacea, as their skin is often dry and sensitive. By maintaining optimal hydration levels, this ingredient helps to strengthen the skin barrier, reducing sensitivity and redness associated with rosacea.
Additionally, the formulation contains 0.5% Ferulic Acid, which complements the effects of vitamin C. Ferulic acid is known for its ability to stabilize and enhance the antioxidant properties of vitamin C and vitamin E, creating a potent antioxidant synergy. Together, these ingredients provide robust protection against environmental stressors and help soothe inflammation, which is crucial for those with rosacea-prone skin.
One of the most noteworthy aspects of Sokörpe's 20% 3-O-Ethylated Ascorbic Acid Solution is its ability to penetrate the skin effectively. Unlike traditional LAA formulations, the EAA molecule is better absorbed, allowing it to reach deeper skin layers where it can exert its beneficial effects. This enhanced skin penetration ensures that the product targets the source of skin concerns, maximizing its efficacy in improving the overall condition of rosacea-affected skin.
Furthermore, the stability of 3-O-Ethyl-L-Ascorbic Acid means that the product maintains its potency throughout its shelf life, delivering consistent results from the first application to the last. This is a crucial factor for individuals with rosacea, as they often require long-term skincare solutions to manage their condition effectively.
Sokörpe's 20% 3-O-Ethylated Ascorbic Acid Solution with Propanediol and 0.5% Ferulic Acid is a promising skincare product specifically designed to address the needs of those with rosacea. By harnessing the power of stable and potent vitamin C in the form of 3-O-Ethyl-L-Ascorbic Acid, combined with the hydration benefits of propanediol and the antioxidant synergy of ferulic acid, this topical solution provides a comprehensive approach to managing rosacea symptoms.
With Sokörpe's innovative formulation, individuals with rosacea can finally find solace in a skincare product that not only addresses their specific needs but also brings them closer to achieving healthy, radiant skin.

Poor Simon man
He has bad rosacea too. Like, his skin will swell up sometimes kind of bad. He has a skincare routine (despite hating it), because his skin will burn and hurt if he doesn't take care of himself.
Roba used it against him, denying him even water and giving him food that triggered reactions
The times he's on mission and can't wash and calm his skin is painful, especially because of his mask. It hurts, a lot

Skin care routine for rosacea.
My current skin care routine is actually very simple. I have sensitive skin, but most importantly oily skin. This combination can be really problematic when it comes to rosacea, and type 2 rosacea specially. Oil can result in an impaired skin barrier and cause sensitivity, blemishes and redness.
For morning skin care routine
- Syndet, non soap cleanser. The one I use has a PH of 5 which is similar to the acidity of the skin.
Tumblr media
- Sunscreen with liquid texture, for sensitive skin. I'm currently using this one from la roche posay
Tumblr media
- Make up to cover blemishes. My current foundation is on the creamier side. I'm hoping to switch to a liquid foundation, so my skin doesn't develop more blemishes. This is my current my foundation, I'll post if I find a better option.
Tumblr media
My night skin care routine.
I'll be using a micelar water to remove my makeup, then wash my face with the Syndet and add a treatment, until I get an appointment with the dermatologists I'll be using a serum, if i feel like I need something extra I'll add a moistourizer.
- Micelar water by Bioderma for sensitive skin.
Tumblr media
- Vychi normaderm serum. Not every day since it has exfoliating components.
Tumblr media
I have been on treatment before, so I know what works for me. I lost track of my self care in general since I had mayor changes going on in my life at the beginning of the year. I know is not always easy but I'm trying to get back and be kind to myself.
I know my rosacea triggers in moments of stress and anxiety, so I'll be tackling those aspects too. I'm starting with the outside causes because it's what feels right for me, once I'm taking care of myself externally it will be easier to do the rest of the work.
It works that way for me, but healing and self improvement journeys look different for everybody, specially the first steps.

1. Secrets to Crafting the Perfect Rosacea Skin Routine
Crafting ‍an Effective Routine If you⁢ have rosacea, it’s important to create‍ an effective skin ⁤care routine. ‍Fortunately, taking care of your skin is a simple ⁤process of following the right ⁤steps. Knowing‍ them ‌might help you get better results. - Use lukewarm water when cleansing your ‍skin. - Choose a ⁣non-soap, fragrance-free⁤ cleanser. - Avoid scrubbing and hot water. - Choose ‌products⁣ with⁢ anti-inflammatory properties. - Apply ⁣a light, oil-free moisturizer. In addition to ‍ingredients, it’s also essential to pay attention to frequency and technique. When it comes to cleansing⁢ and ⁤moisturizing, you should stick to twice daily and use gentle ⁢motions ‍wherever possible. Exfoliating with a gentle scrub a‌ few times a week is also important for‍ keeping your⁢ skin healthy. Sun protection⁤ is also a must — you should⁢ apply SPF in‍ the morning, even when it’s cloudy.
2. Select Skincare ⁢Products to Balance Rosacea-Prone Skin
Choosing the right skincare products ‌suited to ‍your skin type is‌ essential when ‌dealing with the symptoms of rosacea. Since rosacea is a chronic skin disorder that affects the capillaries, look for a gentle ⁤cleanser or toner ⁤to reduce inflammation ⁢without irritating⁣ your skin. Here are some tips on how to select ‍the right products for rosacea-prone skin: Cleansers: - Choose a ⁢cleanser with non-comodogenic, non-irritating,‍ and alcohol-free ingredients - Look ⁣for mild, ⁢pH-balanced products that have soothing components - Try a product with ⁣tea⁤ tree oil ‌as it has anti-inflammatory properties Moisturizers: - Avoid heavy⁤ creams⁤ and opt‍ for ⁢light, ⁢oil-free,⁣ non-comedogenic moisturizers - Look ⁤for moisturizers ⁢that contain antioxidants, such as ‍vitamins C and E, to help⁤ protect skin from environmental factors - Choose ‍a⁤ moisturizer with green tea extract, colloidal oatmeal, and aloe vera to help reduce‍ redness and inflammation
3. Tips⁣ to Facilitate the Rosacea-Caring Process
Living ⁣with Rosacea can be an incredibly ‍difficult experience. ⁣It affects⁢ the eye area, nose, cheeks, forehead and chin, ‌and can ⁢range from mild facial ⁣flushing ‍to ‍extreme redness that persists long after the initial⁤ triggers have‌ passed. The ‍right care makes a real difference to managing symptoms and improving quality of life. Here are three tips to ⁢get‌ you started. - Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water‍ helps ⁢to maintain the skin's protective barrier so that it doesn't become overly ‌dry and sore. Try ⁢to drink 2-3 litres of water⁢ per day, and ‌in‍ the‌ hot summer months, make sure to ⁣drink even more. - Practice ⁣gentle skincare: Keeping the skin hydrated⁣ and ⁢avoiding excessive scrubbing is essential. Look‌ for gentle,⁢ sulfate-free‍ cleansers, and ‌opt ⁢for moisturizers that contain ceramides and other ingredients that replenish the skin’s natural oils.⁢ Choose ⁤a⁢ mild, ‍non-soap cleanser⁤ or a lip balm for moisturizing and protecting dry, sensitive skin. - Be sun-savvy: Sun exposure can be a major trigger of Rosacea symptoms, so make sure to protect your skin ⁣from the sun’s ⁤harmful rays. Look for sunscreen formulas with an SPF of 30 or higher⁣ and both ‌UVA and UVB protection, ⁣and reapply as ⁤needed. ⁤Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses when out and about,‍ to ⁣guard against the sun's rays. A positive mindset⁢ and a daily skincare regime that caters ‍specifically to the needs of ⁣Rosacea sufferers⁣ will go a long ⁢way to help manage symptoms. Try to stay focused ⁣on⁣ what ⁤works for your skin, and don't be afraid ‌to talk to your doctor‍ about potential medication options to‌ further manage Rosacea.
4. Keep Your Skin Irritant-Free with These‍ Timeless⁣ Methods
Keeping your skin healthy and free from any sort of irritation must be‍ your top priority. When we talk about taking care of our⁤ skin, there are some‍ timeless methods that should be part ⁢of your everyday routine. Here's how you can keep your⁤ skin feeling great. ‍ - Moisturize: Moisturizer helps keep your skin hydrated. ‌Choose a good moisturizer for your ⁢skin type and apply it after cleansing. - Exfoliate: Exfoliate your skin regularly to help remove‌ dead skin cells which helps to reduce‌ the chances of any sort of irritation.⁢ - Wear ⁢Sunscreen: Wearing sunscreen is ⁣an important part ‍of your skincare routine.‌ It helps⁢ to ‍protect your skin from the ‌sun's harmful UV rays which can cause ⁢irritation. - Choose Carefully: Be mindful of what ⁢skin products you use.‍ Choose ones ⁤that⁣ are specifically formulated for sensitive ‍skin and free from any ⁢chemical irritants. - Eat Well: Eating healthy and including⁤ more vitamins and antioxidants in your diet ⁤is ⁢essential for healthy skin. Eating foods ‍with omega-3 fatty acids such as⁢ salmon and walnuts can help soothe skin. By following these simple ⁣steps, you can easily keep your skin free ⁤of any irritation or sensitivity. Regularly⁢ applying these timeless methods will help keep ⁤your skin healthy and glowing. You will be well‍ on your way to having ⁢happy,⁤ healthy skin.

5 Skin Care Resolutions to Make in 2023: Prioritizing Your Skin's Health and Beauty
Tumblr media
As we enter the new year, it's the perfect time to set skin care goals and make a commitment to taking better care of our skin. In this article, we'll be discussing five skin care resolutions to consider making in 2023.
Resolution #1: Incorporate more natural and organic ingredients into your skincare routine.
Tumblr media
Natural and organic skincare products are gentler on the skin and less likely to cause irritation or other negative reactions. They are also more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Some examples of natural and organic ingredients to look for include aloe vera, honey, coconut oil, avocado oil, chamomile and lavender.
Resolution #2: Properly cleanse and moisturize your skin.
Tumblr media
Cleansing and moisturizing are two essential steps in any skincare routine. Proper cleansing helps to remove dirt, oil, and other impurities from the skin, while moisturizing helps to keep the skin hydrated and nourished.
After cleansing, be sure to moisturize your skin to help keep it hydrated and nourished. A good moisturizer should be able to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier on the skin to prevent water loss.
Resolution #3: Protect your skin from the sun.
Tumblr media
The sun's harmful UV rays can cause damage to the skin, leading to premature aging and skin cancer. When applying sunscreen, be sure to use enough to cover your skin adequately and reapply every two hours. Protect your skin by seeking shade, wearing protective clothing and wearing a hat or sunglasses when the sun is strongest.
Resolution #4: Incorporate self-care practices into your skincare routine.
Tumblr media
Incorporating self-care practices into your skincare routine has numerous benefits for both your skin and overall well-being. Stress can have a negative impact on the health of your skin, causing a variety of skin problems such as acne, eczema, and rosacea. By practicing self-care and managing stress, you can improve the health and appearance of your skin and promote your overall well-being.
Resolution #5: Choose certified organic and natural skincare products.
Tumblr media
When shopping for natural and organic skincare products, be sure to read labels carefully and do your research. Look for products that are certified organic by a reputable organization and avoid those that contain questionable ingredients.
By incorporating these skincare resolutions into your routine, you can achieve healthy, radiant skin in 2023. From switching to natural and organic ingredients to protecting your skin from the sun and practicing self-care, these resolutions will help you prioritize your skincare and take control of your skin's health. Remember, it's never too late to start taking care of your skin, and small changes can make a big difference in the long run. Here's to a happy and healthy 2023!

matty probably has to hear me groan about how the gel for my rosacea is sticky and I hate it because it smells weird and it makes the pillowcase stick to my face- poor man has to put up with a lot before bedtime but you best believe cuddles would calm me down lol

Could you please share your skincare?
Omg hahaha I have never expected this day would come lmao.
Have you seen me on tiktok, that's why? I'm quite camara shy. But thank you!! I'm blushed that you would want my skincare ☺️🫶🏻
Mh honestly, my best recomendation is going to a dermatologist to learn your skin type. It was game changing for me, the only thing I don't like is that most dermatologist are associated with really expensive brands and ...well those aren't university student budget friendly. I have rosacea, dry skin and really sensitive skin and the products I use is:
Cleaning balm for when I wear make-up (I have dry and sensitive skin and I don't recommend double cleaning if you have this type of skin. I feel like double cleaning is popular in Korea and it may be because they have quite oiled skin, it's just my appreciation)
Hydrating cleanser by CeraVe (I loved this one, I swear on this one. For me who have dry skin is lovely)
Serums. Vitamin C by Garnier on the morning, this one isn't particularly really good but it does help, it's quiet gentle not like other vitamin C and cheap. Maybe if I had a bigger budget I would change for another brand. Hyaluronic acid at morning and night, the l'oréal revitalift also cheap and decent, maybe the ordinary would be better but ordinary doesn't sell on my country. Once per two weeks more on less I use retinol before going to bed, but once again I have really sensitive skin and I have to be careful. This is the only one I have of ordinary because a friend brought it for me at USA. The one with the lowest %. (I highly recommend having your face slightly wet before a hyaluronic acid serum)
Eyecream from Cerave.
Morning I use Toleriane sensitive by La Roche Posay and this is the most expensive part of all this and sadly my sensitive skin needs it. And at night something heavy because my skin is a desert lol I use the cerave moisturizing cream, big, good and cheap all that's needed.
Suncream always, I personally can't use chemical sunscreen because the alcohol on the hurts my rosacea (like the one from the la Roche Posay or Eucerin that everybody swears on them) but since I am pale, I don't mind the white cast of the minerals one like the ISDIN one. HOWEVER, I've used body suncream when I had been low on budged plenty of times. Repeat after me, 100% better use a sunscreen that makes you look oily than no wearing suncream.
And... That's it, I honestly believe in "less is more" for my hair, for skin, for everything. I can't speak as a professional because I am not, but don't over stress your skin. If you're lucky to have the money to afford more stuff, great but I think that keeping a routine simple and practical is the best.
Thank you for considering me for this!!! Spoiler most expensive brands aren't worth it in my opinion, I am a huge budget friendly person lol
Have a nice day love!

Hopefully this doesn’t sound super weird but I’ve seen some of the pics you’ve posted of yourself on Twitter and you have the most gorgeous skin 😭 I was wondering what your skin care routine is/what products you use??
Hiiiii, it’s not weird at all, thank you so much🥺 I LOOOOOVE talking about skincare!! So in the morning I use:
Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser
Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner
Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum
(If I’m going out on a sunny day I’ll also use CeraVe Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30)
And at night before bed I just use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense 72H! I have rosacea so I opt to use more gentle products (Good Molecules brand was a lifesaver)!
