In the heart of the Old West, where lawmen and bandits roamed the dusty streets, there stood a humble pub that catered to a unique clientele. A brave soul with a taste for adventure ran this establishment, where most customers were notorious criminals. But out of most of their clients, the famous Hamato's had to be their favorite.

A brave soul with a taste for adventure, ran this establishment, where most customers were notorious criminals. But out of most of their clients, the famous Hamato's had to be their favorite.

Since opening this pub outside city lines, it became a magnet for outlaws seeking refuge, anonymity, and a place to unwind. The atmosphere was thick with tension, as notorious gunslingers, horse thieves, and bank robbers mingled with ease. But with a firm but fair hand, you ensured a harmonious coexistence among these criminals, making the pub a sanctuary for their weary souls. One of them being the Hamatos.

Every time they came into the pub you got to listen intently to tales of hidden maps, stolen gold, and daring escapes, (a watered-down version of course, don't wanna scare their poor darlin’ off) savoring every word and committing each detail to memory.

Despite the criminal nature of the pub's clientele, your establishment had its code of honor. Violence was strictly prohibited within its walls, and any disputes were settled through civilized discourse or, occasionally, a game of cards. Your fairness and impartiality earned them the respect and loyalty of the patrons, who regarded the pub as a neutral ground where personal feuds were set aside.

You never asked questions and in return, you never had any trouble. Most of the customers understood this, but sometimes someone or something was always trying to overrun it, newbies to be exact—ones who thought that they could get away with anything and rise above it all. So when the boys show up after a new group of criminals ransacked your place leaving everything destroyed and you hurt, they didn't take so kindly to it.

So...I'm OBSESSED with @morning-sun-brah's fan fiction, The Pigeon's Perch on AO3. Don't know what it is about a couple that outright HATES each other, and bickers 24/7, but I LOVE IT sooo much! Can't wait until these two morons figure out that they like each other.

I love her OC May and how she annoys Leo by constantly making fun of him. Preeeetty sure that it was stated somewhere in the fic that she has dark hair, but I don't know how long it is. It's been a while since I've drawn and man, I feel hella rusty. Also, I such at drawing turtles, so here! Have human Leo instead!

Backstory time! : The one and only Lou Jitsu is a famous shootout champion in Big Mama’s ring, they fall in love bla, bla, bla. Big Mama betrays him and he’s captured by the mad scientist doctor Barum Draxum and gets experimented on, and BOOM we got the turtles. (things are pretty canon in this au except the fact that it takes place in the Wild West and the mystical weapons are different. Yuichi is there too)

Okay so at my parents restaurant one of the people who works there is this really nice 20 something girl and she likes rottmnt and we kinda bonded over that quite a bit and somehow, after a bit of us conversing about rottmnt and horror (which she also likes) i gave her my Ao3 account so she can read some of my stuff, because i told her a bunch about Numb and i thought she might like to read it (and maybe some of my rise fics)

and when i tell you i was anxious, i was fucking ANXIOUS because i live in a small mostly conservitive town and 90% of my Ao3 works are gay and i was terrified that she would see that and tell my parents i write gay stuff and then they'd tell me to stop.

hey dude, ive seen it a couple times on my dash from you but not much other place else, could i ask what really is the Lego Monkie Kid show? It looks really interesting, the character designs look beautiful along with everything else ive seen and I want to experience it as respectfully as possible. Sorry to bother you about it, but I just want to start with at least a general sort of? Guideline of where I should go in order of content or if its just a series where to even watch it cause I honestly never have heard of it up until now, and how someone should go about it? lego monkie kid is one of lego’s newer IPs!!! it’s heavily based on the novel Journey to The West, one of china’s four great classical novels so i recommend you read it if you wanna have a deeper understanding of some of the content in LMK (i recommend the anthony c. yu translation)

it’s a sorta “next-gen” thing where a guy named qi xiaotian/mk in the english dub becomes the successor of the monkey king, sun wukong by managing to lift his golden staff which has been sealing the bull demon king under a mountain for centuries

the supporting cast are all based off of the disciples and tang sanzang, and all the villains are the demons from the book!!!!

we only have the english dub for season 1 out, however if you join @theyarentelves​‘s LMK discord we’re streaming tomorrow when the eng dub eps come out in malaysia!!!

as for experiencing it respectfully, the best way i could tell you how to do so is to avoid westernizing the characters and stay far far far away from racist tropes, as although it’s not explicit the lego-made characters are heavily implied to be chinese or live in china. JTTW is also a culturally important story to easian culture in general, so read it and try to have a better understanding of the tale. lastly, keep in mind that since some of the figures in JTTW are still worshipped today as gods of various beliefs, try to stay respectful of that and do your research!!!

did i mention we have steve blum, sean schemmel, billy kametz and jack desena in the voice cast (wolverine, goku, josuke higashikata and sokka respectively)

also the animation popped off (the studio behind glitch techs and ROTTMNT did this show, its every diehard ninjago fan’s wild dream of what a lego series would look like)
