Team Fang Edition

#29 - Adam Taurus and Wilt and Blush

Adam desires nothing more than complete subjugation of humanity, and will use any means necessary to attain it, be it Pokémon and people, or the emotions they carry. He steadily climbed the ranks of Team Fang until he became the number two to the High Leader. He now stands at her side, and his Pokémon at hers.

Wilt and Blush are Adam's tools of war, and they work best together. Wilt cuts down what Blush can't burn, and Blush burns whatever Wilt can't cut. Wilt was an Axew when Adam found him, and the burn he recieved on his back came after the one over Adam's eye, because Adam tried to stop the branding. This left Wilt with a deep hatred for all humans. Blush was caught later, and became a vital asset to Adam's path to vengeance. She had a particular interest in Gambol's Shroud before Blake selfishly took him away. Before that, however, she was violent against any females that got too close to him.

#30 - Sienna Khan and Cerberus' Whip

Sienna is the High Leader of Team Fang, the most feared and powerful woman on her island of Menagerie, and she intends to stay that way. Before stepping into her role, she was the right hand of the Menagerie Guard, before leading the Faunus from their pacifist ways and fought back against the oppression by the humans. Together, with her people and her Pokémon.

Cerberus' Whip was found as a Shinx by Sienna as a girl, and the two paved the way to a world of revolution. She has no particular hatred towards anyone, save for those who would harm her trainer. For that, she relies on her special eyes, which tell her when any of her would-be assassins attempt to sneak up behind them.

#31 Ilia Amitola and Lightning Lash

Ilia is an orphan of sorrow. Her parents dead in a mining accident working for the Schnee Stone Company, she swore to avenge them by destroying the company. Acting as the leading infiltration officer of Team Fang, she can sneak in and destroy the enemy without them realizing until she's gone. The only two things she loves more than seeking her own justice are her best friends, Blake and her Pokémon.

Lightning Lash is a gentle soul. Originally her mother's, Ilia keeps the Dratina as close to her as possible. When infiltrating enemy territory, she'll have the noodle boy on her person at all times, either as a cane, a scarf, or a waistband. Lightning Lash is also pretty handy with his Thunder Wave/Dragon Breath combo. When Gambol's Shroud had nightmares in Menagerie, Lightning Lash would isolate the Liepard and make him feel safe.

#32 - Lieutenant/Elder and Chainsaw

No one knows the true identity of the Team Fang Elder, also known as Adam Taurus' Lieutenant. Though, this is in part due to his savagery and low witness survivability. Adam will send him in to dispatch of personal matters. His brutal attacks are matched only by his Pokémon's.

Chainsaw is a violent and voracious killer, biting, clawing, and mutilating any enemy of the White Fang. Many members of Team Fang give this creature a wide berth, save for Adam Taurus and High Leader Khan. Often times, specifically when struck, he will go into an overwhelming frenzy, decimating anything around him with Bite, Crunch, and Ice Fang's, or he'll flood the room with Surf and let his predatory instincts kick in.

I like it so far. However i will say for merlin, arthur, & Achilles aren't technically deities, but mortal chanpions held in high regards. Essentially, they'd be resurrected to help train, teacher, & motivate the beacon crew.

Got into a VERY annoying argument with someone yesterday about Itronwood’s actions. It’s baffling that they kept trying to paing Team RWBY as being responsible for the fall of Atlas while ignoring the ways that Ironwood escalated the situation and made things worse due to his stubborness.

“Oh he gave them lodging and hiis total support and they went behind his back!” Just because people do nice things for you doesn’t mean they’re incapable of being wrong or making dumbass decisions. RWBY and JNPR had already been betrayed by Lionheart, lied to by Ozpin, and went into Atlas realizing it had become a military dictatorship patrolled by drones; people were being arrested on sight thanks to Ironwood’s control, and  he couldn’t care less about he was lookinjg like the bad guy. It was thanks to Yang and Blake “going behind his back” and telling Robyn the truth that temporarily de-escelated things, but Ironwood was more concerned about this betrayal than working for the actual greater good.

To use an example from a different franchise I love, Mass Effect 2 has Shepard die and be brought back to life by Cerberus. The Illusive Man was pretty nice to Shepard, handing him a new Normandy, putting Joker and Chakwas on it, investing resources to help Shepard on the mission. By the Ironwood logic, Shepard should just do as he’s told because TIMmy did all that cool stuff, nevermind that the dude operating a xenophobic organization that experimented on people in the last game (one of which could have been from your own squad depending on the backstory) might have an agenda that goes against the hero’s.

Even if you thought Ironwood’s plan would have worked (or at least kept the Lamp away from Salem), he was still the dick in that situation because he could have AT THE VERY LEAST let the heroes evacuate the city before raising the city, but instead he spent most of Volume 8 hunting down them down and shooting their attempts to help Mantle. Team RWBY may have made some mistakes, but there is no way you can look at ANYTHING that happened in Vol. 7 plus 8 and come away thinking they’re the most responsible for things going wrong. Ironwood was the asshole that made things worse, not them.

Mass Effect AU

James Ironwood was born on Earth just in time to see his dreams of exploring the stars become true and to be drafted into the First Contact War. Too young and too traumatized by the conflict to know better, James joined Cerberus as his best bet on whom to trust to work for the best of the humanity.

He proved to be a good engineer and even better leader, so no wonder he quickly climbed ranks and soon became head of one of the research and development departments. Still an idealist, wasn’t aware of what exactly Cerberus’ bussines looked like. He gladly did his best taking part in exploring new planets and designing new ways to mine various resources.

However, the lid on Cerberus is never perfectly sealed, so he started to doubt and slow down works on things he had a bad feeling about. Maybe because the facility he used to run, blew up in a little too unsettling circumstance. Maybe because he found a little holes in security systems to fish information from. Definitely because he knows, he stopped the reactor from exploding and yet, something went off, taking half of him with it on the way out. Cerberus was kind enough to reconstruct lost limb and organs, but he never shook off feeling of involuntary becoming a lab rat for new cybernetic technology.

More and more clues led in the direction he didn’t want to ever follow. The final straw was finding out that the Atlas mech that he put a lot of effort into experimenting with, intended for safer mining of dangerous materials, was in fact turned into a weapon.

Ungodly pissed, James parted ways with Cerberus effective immediately. Not blowing anything up was a goodbye gift, due for saving his life earlier and not so eager to harm anyone that could get caught up in the fire. The Atlas mech should have been destroyed along with blueprints, but it would cost too much to achieve in means James refused to take. He already did enough being part of the terroristic organization.

Very outskirts of the galaxy seemed like a good place to settle. A few people of his old crew followed and so a colony started far away from everyone and everything. Having stolen enough of tools and plans, he started building up a rather peaceful, actual research facilities that soon started to gather various people from the whole galaxy. New Atlas grew and now gladly sends specialists whenever needed, mostly to aid in ever expanding science.

Their peaceful attitude should never be mistaken for weakness though. None of the Atlesians gathered under James’ care will take shit from anyone. It took only a few people to fuck around and have found out that crossed wrong, they’re not force to be messed with.

On top of that, James likes to throw a wrench in between Cerberus’ gears, but he takes time to keep low profile and wipe all the traces perfectly. Only people he decided trustworthy know about this little hobby of his, even if all Atlesians in general share rather cold approach towards Cerberus at best.
