What are 2-3 examples of media that were meaningful to you in your tween/teen years?

Media example 1: Spider-Man (2002)

Summary: This film is the first in director Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. It tells the origin story of the Marvel comic book hero Spider-Man. I watched this film when it first came out in theatres — I was only 4 when my dad first took me to see it! 

Media example 2: Centre Stage (2000)

Summary: This fictional teen drama film follows a group of young dancers auditioning for the prestigious American Ballet Company. I came across Centre Stage on YouTube years after it was released (some time in 2007, when I first started using YouTube). 

Media example 3: Ryan Higa (NigaHiga) on YouTube

Summary: Ryan Higa (known as his alias nigahiga) has been creating videos on YouTube since 2006. His videos generally consist of short comedic parodies and skits which include reoccurring characters either played by Higa himself or one of his friends. I first came across Higa’s YouTube channel on my own, and soon shared the videos with my friends. We would watch them together during sleepovers splitting our sides laughing until 2 in the morning.

people who do long essays are like the backbone of the platform, like walking out from watching a movie and then putting on an hour long essay on it is just chefs kiss. even when i don't agree completely, it's interesting to listen to

it's funny thinking back on when i got into youtube, who was popular then vs who's popular now. which is also what i loved about the among us days, like suddenly i'd be watching a lobby and ryanhiga would suddenly join

i watched danny a lot right when he switched from vine, like he was my favorite. i still watch him but alas the mcyters have taken his place

also those who make edits of characters/tv series/movies, i loved watching those, i don't do it a lot because again mcyters and brainrot, but they're so talented those editors

I think this is my most ambitious drawing project so far, took me more than a full week of drawing in ALL of my spare time to get this done. I’m super happy with how it turned out tho! :)

Day 3.

Today was kind of a chill day but with a very important task to do at the end of the day. I am kind of looking forward to it because I can see that my mentor will guide me every step of the way. I appreciate the little comments and suggestions while als giving compliments. So productive and inspiring!

Sykkuno streamed today! I am so happy. I saw the comments from Jack’s chat that syk is always away from the grouo being selfish and doing his own thing but when u see it in his POV he took out scientists with headshots, did the fuse and do a lot of stuff. I am just a bid sad reading those comments but I know Syk is not that kind of person.

I ak happy to see Syk’s interactions with a lot of people today - Hasan (oil rig), Ryan & Wendy (trumpet turret), Jae and Toast (raid) and Arcadium the Fire Lord (flamethrower shenanigans). I love sykkuno with j10 but I miss his interactions with other ppl too. Ohhh sleepy also that’s a homie. I wish Syk would stream those IF ever Syk feels comfortable.

Anyways more grind tomorrow.
