May I order a headcanon (once facking again) where their s/o’s family was extremely poor in the past, so when Ryusui made currency they spent the least amount of money, rarely eating out of habit and trying to not make the same mistake their family did before?

If there was a Tsukasa part I believe that would only fuel his anger more for the rich and greedy ngl 😭

Reader’s Family was Poor in the Past

I chose Senku, Gen, Tsukasa, and Ryusui for this.

Senku Ishigami

He wasn’t too concerned with what everybody was doing, but your behavior doesn’t go unnoticed.

He watched as you picked through almost thousands of drago and only spent a few, and it almost seemed like you were scared to.

Ryusui had practically thrown drago at you because you were nearby and he complimented you and gave you plenty of money, so why were you spending SO cautiously like you were down to nickels and dimes? (I know nothing about Yen so I don’t know if there is an expression equivalent in Japanese)

You have nothing to really save the money for, so why were you debating so hard over spending it on a shirt. You wanted the shirt, didn’t you?

Eventually, he’d found out from somebody that knew you that your family was poor. He had thought something like that must have been the case, but now he knows for sure.

He’d likely encourage you to spend a bit more. Either that, or he’d bluntly tell you there is no reason to keep the money so close to you anymore.

Gen Asagiri

If he had that much money, he’d be blowing it.

You had thousands of drago that Ryusui had just handed you. And you were clutching onto it like you’d be robbed of it and be left for dead without it if you loosen up just a little.

You hesitated to get cotton candy, despite how much you said you missed the taste.

He watched you and soon noticed your behavior was like those who were less fortunate to have to ration to survive.

You didn’t need to do that here, the money isn’t that important. At the end of the day, the hunters in the kingdom of science would bring home food rather people paid them for the meat or not.

The community doesn’t run off of money, so your behavior is unnecessary. So he’d probably talk you out of it.

He’d come stand beside you, talking to you softly.

“Money isn’t that important here. You don’t need it to pay for a house. And the beasts of people we have here do the hunting for us, and never once have they asked for money. Nor would they deny you food if you couldn’t pay. You can save some… but maybe spend half? Plus…” he leans in to whisper, “Ryusui would gladly pay for you if it ever came to it. I’m sure a man like him will never run out of money.”

Tsukasa Shishio

Dragos have been around for a while, but you’re still clutching onto them like it’s life or death.

Francois doesn’t make you pay them for food. The hunters (him, Hyoga, etc) don’t make you pay them for meat or anything.

So your behavior has got to be engraved into you.

He might be on the side of kingdom of science, but deep down, this rise of currency and capitalism bothers him.

watching you struggle to let go of money makes him angry.

The world they used to live in had brought you to this point, and that pisses him off.

He knows what that’s like. He fought for money. He became famous for money. All for money for Mirai. Just so his sister would live.

He had to pay people to keep his sister alive.

And old men paid for the rights to land and he had no grounds to even do anything about getting beat down by one for picking seashells. That man OWNED those seashells.

He doesn’t know exactly what you went through, but he’s got an idea.

He doesn’t say much, but he makes sure to give you plenty of food and he’ll buy things for you and give them to you.

Honestly he’s so sweet.

Ryusui Nanami

Spend money, get bitches. Yk. (This man would hate the word bitches for sure. But I had to say this. Like side note, but he’s an advocate for the word to be offensive when leaving a man’s mouth)

Ryusui gave you thousands of drago and stepped back. He expected you to spend it, give to the economy, etc.

But you held onto it like you were gonna need it soon.

He doesn’t really know what that’s like. He’s always had lots of money.

Well, once he had a smaller allowance, but even that would be a lot to most other people. He doesn’t realize this so much, not until he sees you.

He’s confused at first.

What else is there to do in life than get all that one wants when they want it? Get your money up, keep your money up, spend your money up. Yk. The 3 pillars to life. (This is not what they are)

He gives you more money.

But you try to deny it.

He insists. Then he watches you clutch onto it like you’ll need it all in an hour.

He probably goes over to encourage you. Telling you to see things how he sees it.

And then you probably explain why you just can’t. You’re scared you’ll end up like your family was as a kid.

He begins to see what you mean, and he’ll probably spend some money on you.

“Don’t be scared. There isn’t anything to worry about money about here. Even if everything had a cost soon, I’d pay for whatever you needed. And all these people would surely do you a favor even if.”

Hi, an interesting/unusual request. A body-swap AU with Dr. Stone characters and their s/o (or friend, platonically I mean)? How would they react and try to reverse it?

oooou this one's an interesting one! you didn’t specify characters, so i hope these are okay!

SENKU ISHIGAMI: 

He’s bordering on insane disgust and fear and also immense enthusiasm and curiosity to figure out how such an insane phenomenon exists and took place.

At first, he’s freaked out. Rightfully. Confused out of his mind, probably something that happens just as suddenly as the petrification.

So he has his little moment of confusion at first where he's asking all the standard questions, most likely in his mind: What’s happening? How did this happen? Why do I look like this? What happened to my body? Am I dreaming? Ow, that felt real. 

Once he runs into you wearing his body, he’s even more freaked out. Now he’s thinking some more. 

For the most part, then, he’s determined to come up with some kind of answer as to how the swap took place and how he can reverse it. 

He handles it scientifically, of course. Coming up with hypotheses, running whatever tests he can think of, monitoring your states. He might consult various sources, such as textbooks, similar experiments conducted in the past and theories on such a phenomenon, and may even head into fiction territory for ideas. 

He might make a couple of comparisons to media he likes, similarly to how he does with video games. 

But overall, he does NOT find the experience fun. The challenge, sure, the mystery, exciting. But don’t you dare try anything dumb while you’re in his body or he’ll lose it.

Will spend most of his time exhausted and yelling at you if you are the type to goof around in such a situation. If not, he’ll probably urge you to help him in his efforts to reverse such a swap and ask you to cooperate in any sort of monitoring. 

Depending on how long it takes to reverse, also, he feels SUPER uncomfortable being addressed with your name and treated as if he were someone else. And he also feels super weird watching people come up to you while meaning to talk to him. 

If it were pre petrification, he’d also probably hate going through the pain of pretending to be you in order to prevent suspicion on how weirdly supernatural this was and to avoid any other obstacles. 

But if it were post, he’d have no qualms telling people about it, and even consults them for help. 

GEN ASAGIRI:

He’s flustered about the whole ordeal to say the least. 

He’s the one the most worked up about the whole thing, never entirely relaxed the entire time he’s preoccupied in your body. 

He doesn’t really know what to do with himself. He can’t even find it within himself to be sleazy; the whole thing was another level of absurd. 

(And seeing his own face watch in disgust was also a whole other level of embarrassing)

Like Senku, he’s obviously freaked out, but unlike Senku, he spends more time being horrified than actually thinking of the cause behind the phenomenon.

You have to take a good while to actually calm him before either of you can progress to actually coming up with theories on how such a thing could have happened, but being consoled by an out of character version of himself just puts Gen even more on edge.

Once you manage to move past the initial shock, however, Gen does his best to try to think alongside you in what could have caused the swap and what could reverse it.

But then…oh, who was he kidding? He’s no medical man, no scientist, what can he do? 

So he has these moments of helplessness and panic in waves. 

(Which only end up agitating you further, causing you to cry out to “do something, magic man!” and it ends up stressing him out even further)

The two of you are truly lucky if you have the Kingdom of Science by your side at this point, because while Gen can and will hypothesise what happened, he doesn’t really have the means of testing them. So while he’s still worried, he undergoes all the questioning and experiments Senku and the others have for him about the swap. Anything to have him back in his own body. 

KOHAKU:

Before meeting Senku and getting involved with modern science shenanigans so heavily, she’d probably believe the phenomenon was some kind of ailment or sorcery. Which, can you blame her?

Also really freaked out by the event. Maybe not as expressive as Senku or Gen would be about it, but she’s definitely weirded out to see what should be herself staring back at her. 

First thing she thinks of doing to reverse the swap is to try scratching your skin off, clawing at it, or doing something physical to shed the skin and return to hers. But upon your panic (and seeing how it doesn’t really do anything), she eventually stops.

Her train of thought then leads her to believe that an evil force is at work, and is particularly hostile towards the two of you. If that’s the case, she’s doing her best to hunt a physical foe to defeat.

(She may even ask Kinro and Ginro to be on guard just in case it returns and decides to curse someone else)

If both are in vain, however, she’ll possibly try consulting Ruri or one of the village elders to see if they have any experience with the phenomenon, or if it's mentioned in any of the 100 tales to gain some further insight on how to reverse the swap.

If the Kingdom of Science has been established by this point, however, she works closely with Senku and the rest of the science team to figure out what happened. She may not be able to handle too many technicalities, but she’ll gladly cooperate with any trials to get to the bottom of what happened.

Feels weird seeing herself act so uncharacteristically, however, and so does everyone else. But there was also something strangely fun about being in someone else's body. She might joke around a little bit by playfully mocking your mannerisms, just a little bit. All in good fun. 

Overall, she has complete trust in the science team to figure it out, so she’s not too stressed. Which just leads her to be surprisingly chill about the ordeal. 

RYUSUI NANAMI: 

Arguably the most chill about such an event. Maybe even a bit too chill, similarly to Kohaku. 

Of course, he panicked about it. And surprised. Anyone would be. 

He’ll go through the same song and dance Senku did with all his questions, and when he finds you, he’ll also interrogate and bombard you with questions about what you think happened and if you felt or experienced anything strange at all.

Once the panic dies down, however, he’s getting to work trying to figure out how to reverse such an event. I can’t tell whether he’d be similar to Senku pre petrification in hiding it, or if he’s just kind of shameless. Post pre-petrification, however, he also doesn’t mind confiding in the others about the phenomenon and asks the science team to help reverse it (especially for your sake, if he notices any high anxiety on your end).

Besides not doing much else differently from the others with undergoing tests and questioning (and maybe taking on a more active part in figuring out a solution), he finds the experience also somewhat exciting with how nonsensical it was. 

He’s having some sort of fun experiencing life through your senses, your own eyes and ears and mouth. Though he undoubtedly misses his own body, and wants it back just as eagerly as you may want it. 

He reassures you in a boisterous tone that you have nothing to worry about, and the ordeal will be resolved quickly. Though in the meantime, he tells you, you should cherish the opportunity to live as such a handsome dude such as himself!

platonically, thats what hed do. Like, hed just silently offer support while you tell him your troubles or thoughts. like nod along or put a hand on your shoulder in silent encouragement or just seem so cool while spouting out some wise words. (he puts a hand on your shoulder and you look at him, the wind blows his hair slightly, the light capturing him in a perfect angle. "i understand that feeling. i felt hurt when ginro laughed at the rip in my pants too" he whispers so coolly and you bust out laughing)

romantically, hed be more initiative in this type of stuff i think. like, if he saw you going away on your own hed follow after to talk. or be more nervous cuz this time hes ACTIVELY trying to cheer you up, like tryna be comforting even if his words come out awkward or something like that. more about my headcanon under the cut

Okay, so I'm really nervous while posting it, because I usually don't talk about my hcs with anyone and especially in public fandom spaces, but wanted to scream about this one for a very long time. I personally headcanon Ryusui as half-Japanese and half-Polish, because:

His birthday is on November 11th, which is widely known as Remembrance Day aka the end of the First World War. In Poland, we celebrate National Independence Day on this exact date and to be honest, when it comes to such things as characters’ birthdays (especially in the series where they usually have deeper meanings, ex.: Ishigami villagers named after chemical elements having their birthdays on dates corresponding to their atomic numbers, Gen’s b-day being on April Fool’s, etc.) I don’t believe in coincidences. So of course, I checked out other historical events that have happened/are assumed to have happened on 11.11. and found some connected to sailing  & exploration such as: Mayflower making its first landing in America, but also those related to astronautics: launch of spaceship Gemini 12 and launch of Progress M-25 to space station Mir. So as you can see, these are more likely to be the reason for choosing such a date for Ryusui, but let the girl dream. 😔 And yes, I’m fully aware of the fact that it’s also the Pocky Day lol

Many Japanese DCST characters look like they’re mixed (I’m not talking about astronauts’ descendants, because y’know) and Ryusui is no exception, probably due to the anime logic™️, but maybe they are? Who knows. But anyway, straight to the point: when I saw Ryusui for the first time I was thinking “Why did they give us another Shamil?”, so Slavic pass? Checked ✔️, I can continue spreading my half-Polish Rysui propaganda. And to quote my dear Tumblr mutual @/szyszkasosnowa “That would explain his golden (as polish wheat) hair.”.

Knowing what’s going on with the Nanami family (and specifically Ryusui’s shitty father) it is, in fact, quite possible. Sai is half-Japanese and half-Indian, so there’s nothing against the possibility of Ryusui also being mixed. I mean, there’s no mention of Poland or Slavic countries other than Russia in Dr. Stone (but these guys are always getting too much attention in literally any fiction), but we Poles barely get any representation, especially a good one (and in eastern media), so when my brain started connecting the dots I was like “haha yes, after all this time something’s happening!”.

Ryusui is my second favorite character in dr stone so I'm always happy to write for him 💞💞 I hope you like this anon!!

I do think that he has a private cinema or something like that inside his house, so, instead of going to the actual cinema, I think he would prefer to stay inside his/your house. Not that he’s against the idea of going to the cinema, but I think, since his family power and notoriety, you might get more attention than wanted

Not that his inside cinema is horrible or anything, oh no. Obviously, it isn’t, it’s actually very fancy and it does feel like you just entered a true cinema and not another room inside the Nanami mansion, it's just on the smaller side since they aren’t that many chairs.

Ryusui, being himself, obviously takes it to the full extent so that everything feels like the experience of going to the cinema: popcorn of every type (he asks about your favorite and gets Francois to make it), any type of drinks, little details like that. All of it just to see you smile brighter

I’m not quite sure if he will be interested in the movie, but he tries. Ryusui would probably get bored after a bit and start cuddling you, demanding attention and love while you try to still follow what’s going on in the plot. It’s a bit hard with Ryusui but you still managed to finish the film

You two can even fall asleep there and Francois will simply put a blanket over, not wishing to disturb your nap. Since it’s inside his home you can do anything you would do at home: even stopping the film for whatever reason instead of waiting for the pause.

But you can defiantly bring him to go out as a date to a cinema, just expect him to bring you to a premiere or something. Or does it exists a more expensive cinema? Because he will bring you there. Everything with Ryusui is 100% at his maximum or he isn’t happy

It’s one of those rare times where the date isn’t at its extreme with Ryusui being loud and everything so goddamn expensive, it’s a nice change of pace. It’s also nice for Ryusui to, once out of his so classic comfort zone: he is a lot calmer and more attentive, but you obviously don’t mind his loud and over-the-top persona.

Mostly because it’s not going to last! While he obviously will stay mostly silent during the film, whispering sometimes funny jokes or random stuff (especially if the movie has something to do with ships), outside he will comment and ask your opinion

And taking you out to some fancy dinner, of course. What? Do you just want a bit of pizza? No. Only the best of the best for you, while he will keep talking about the movie and listening through what you say (and, what I said before about ships continues; he will explain stuff to you about those or some stuff that the movie did bad)

Overall it was a great experience, especially with Ryusui's personality. It’s sweet and nice, especially with how he drives (or the driver does, I don't know if he has the license) his new expensive car to go to the date

Dr. Stone Characters with a Constantly Exhausted! Introvert! S/O.

The characters I chose for this are: Senku, Gen, Chrome, Ryusui, Hyoga, and Francois.

Random fun fact: I have the same MBTI as Senku! INTP! (Joel Gear from the manga also has the same type)

Senku Ishigami

Before you’re even dating, he may notice your constant exhaustion. It likely worries him, and he will probably try to seek out the cause.

He might confront you about how you’re sleeping at night, in order to offer advice, but even then, he makes the kingdom of science pull ungodly feets so he might just assume it’s all that hard work.

He’ll likely assume you have hyposomnia, or maybe insomnia at night, leading to sleeping throwout the day. Or something similar.

If it’s none of those, just how you are. He’ll except that and let you sleep periodically when you need to.

But he’ll likely remind you about how much sleep is TOO much sleep.

He really just means the best for you.

So if you need help sleeping better at night to prevent sleeping so much during the day, he’d make sleep drugs or melatonin.

He’s an introvert too, so he’d understand any of your personality traits pretty well.

If you just want to be alone, he understands that and will give you space.

If you don’t like big groups and need a break, that’s okay. But they need 800 manganese batteries so you can do that while you’re alone :)

He’s not very affectionate, so he’d show his love for you by giving you inventions to help you in any way you need, rather he makes them or asks a friend for a favor. So if that’s a pillow? There is left over fabric, he can ask Yuzuriha to sew it together for you.

Gen Asagiri

He understands, but he, like Senku, would be concerned.

He’d likely be trying to figure out if it’s a mental health issue. Or something typical, but harmful, like “revenge bed time.”

Insomnia can be caused by anxiety, or something of that sort. And same goes for hyposomnia.

If he rules you have neither, or even if you do, he’ll do anything he can to help you. Maybe by convincing you to go to bed earlier.

He likely would know it’s more than just this new world and the work Senku has everybody doing.

If he gets a chance though, he’s taking a nap with you. I think he’d be the type to hold you or let you sleep on his shoulder if you want.

Then he’d tell Senku he simply can’t work at the moment because it’d require waking you. (Senku would invent the megaphone just to wake you to do work)

Gen isn’t an introvert himself, but he has a strong understanding of mentalism, of course.

He’d understand you completely. And if the social life gets to be a lot, he’s got some ways to deal with it to help you.

Overall, he’d understand you don’t really want to be around everybody all the time. And that may include him.

Chrome

Are you… sick?

That was his first thought. But he’s smart. So it puts it together after talking to you.

If you have trouble sleeping at night, he’ll do anything he can to help.

If you sleep fine at night, but just sleep more anyways. He’d be a bit confused, especially if you are from the past. It’s a bit weird to see in a fast paced, grit and grind kind of life style.

He’ll do any work or scavenging or whatever all by himself if you need to catch up on some sleep, he really doesn’t mind! Because, yeah he likes your company, but he values your comfort (and safety, he doesn’t want you to fall asleep in a dangerous situation or to be too tired to think)

Really, he might have one of the least understanding of any of these terms and stuff out of anyone on this list, but he will likely be the sweetest one. He’s a quick learner too, so just tell him about your needs and he’ll respect that and work around that.

If you fell asleep on him, he’d be a blushing mess. Just saying.

He doesn’t have a great understanding of introverted vs extroverted people in terms of like terms and stuff. But he can tell some people are more social and lively, some people are more reserved.

So he doesn’t have a hard time adapting to your life style.

For example, if you want to stay in even though there is a party, he’d likely stay with you. He’s happiest where you are. (He might lightly nudge you towards just dropping by to say hi, especially if it’s a celebration of an accomplishment you both were a part of)

Ryusui Nanami

You’re tired? He’ll ask Francois to prepare you a bed if you don’t have one where they are.

You don’t want to walk? He’s carrying you.

You fall asleep on his shoulder? If anybody wakes you, they owe you 1000 dragos for the inconvenience to you. (He’ll likely wake you up accidentally and try to give you the money he threatened other people to have to give you. Tell him to put the dragos back)

Literally the most excessive man ever. He desires the best for you. (I love this man omg)

He’s not much help for an introvert though.

He’s always doing the most. Literally.

So quiet time usually means time AWAY from him. But don’t get it twisted, he can be quiet for you. If you want him to just spend time with you, but need silence. He can.

He’d be okay with just being in the same space together. He might be building a ship model while you sleep a few feet away. He’ll try to be quiet!

Or if you want a quiet night in, play him at chess. (Sai is shaking in his boots)

Francois

Anything you need is yours.

A drink on your bed side table? It’s yours.

Dating or not, they treat you so well.

If you are dating, they keep professional until nobody is looking. So it’s likely they don’t treat you any differently than everybody else until you’re both away from prying eyes.

You would also be the only one to see Francois rest, and know Francois does in fact run out of stamina. They are no Taiju.

So you’d likely take naps together.

I don’t see them being super physically affectionate, so likely just being within the same space as each other.

They treat you pretty much the same if you’re an extrovert or introvert, but an introvert would likely be preferred for them anyways. Seeing as they likely prefer quiet and peace when they get the chance.

Hyoga Akatsuki

I saved the worst for last :)

Now it depends on when he met you how he treats you, but how he thinks of you remains about the same.

At first, either way, he’d think you’re weak and likely wouldn’t give you time of day.

Now, if you’re strong beyond just being exhausted, now you’re talking.

Or if you’re super intelligent and can use that as strength.

You’d have to have something to make him gain respect for you to even get together.

He doesn’t have much time for your issues, or pity.

He says, at least. But he finds himself doing small things behind your back to make it easier on you.

If you two, for any reason, went out on a scouting or scavenging mission together, he’d stand guard and watch while you sleep. He says he’s stronger so it makes sense, but really he just thinks you should rest.

He’s come to care about you, rather he’ll admit it or not.

He’ll give you a, ever so slightly reluctant, helping hand when you need it.

He’d prefer an introverted s/o, likely, because he doesn’t have any interest in being encouraged to be social and lively.

He’d be the type to just like to be in the same room, at the same time, and that’s bonding.

Oh this shall be fun

Realizes he's aromantic asexual in middle school. Everyone else was going on about romance and dating and all that other stuff, and all he cared about was science.

Was the one lecturing people in elementary school about why certain super powers can't be real and crushed the hopes and dreams of those wanting lazer vision

Would secretly leave Taiju money or other things he needed but pretended he had no idea where they came from

Since hes the definition of aroace, his gaydar is never wrong

Tried to figure out if he could turn himself into a robot as a kid, it did not work

Speaking of robots, he had robot pj's up until he was 11 in which he traded them for science ones

His experiments would make stay up late into the night, so naturally, he developed a taste for energy drinks.

At night he will sometimes think of Byakuya and remember all the memories he has with his dad, he might try to act like the man was embarrassing and all, but deep down hes a kid who never got to say goodbye to his dad

The only two people he can fully confide in are Taiju and Yuzuirha

While its common for kids who are adopted to want to know about their biological parents, he doesnt. He had Byakuya after all, and Byakuya is his dad, nothing else matters.

But whats wrong with noticing that certain characters in Dr.STONE are ASD coded? Like everyone accepts that Ryusui has ADHD but being autistic is something bad right? News Flash it isnt. Also show me where in the manga that Sai and Yuzuriha dont show traits of autism? i feel explaining to you would be a waste of energy but just know this is only going to make my post on it even longer cause holy fuck the beginning will now have a rant about people like you. Ok but i really need to know what people have against aroace characters? Like theres nothing wrong with any character being aroace but for some reason it just causes others to be so upset and for what? Ive seen it with mostly One Piece and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Luckily havent seen it as much with Dr.STONE or at least on tumblr. The number of people ive blocked on tiktok for getting upset about Senku being CANONICALLY aroace is ridiculous. But yeah can someone just explain this to me? Cause aroace exist and we do deserve to have our representation in media and not in the "oh im rude because im aroace and thats my only personality" way. But in a way where we ardnt dehumanized for not feeling romantic or sexual attraction.

Can I request relationship or dating hcs for Ryusui, Tsukasa and Kinro with a fem!s/o who loves stargazing and collecting gemstones? Like whenever she's free, she will share her knowledge about planets and gemstones! But she also can be shy sometimes cuz she doesn't want them to think she's a nerd cuz obviously she's not! She's just passionate about them, that's all! One last thing, she will tell the boys any puns or jokes related to those topics.

For example : you're the Moon to my Earth. (I made up this one 😂 sorry if it doesn't sound good)

this was such a cute request to write and my first time writing for tsukasa and kinro so this was exciting! the request asked specifically for a fem!s/o but it isnt ever really implied though you can imagine it is! To make self inserts more authentic, i use no or they/them pronouns for reader :)

p.s...remember when i said my next blog post would be ryusui related lol. hes in here so its okay. i sort of rushed this formatting but it's late so ill update it in the morning. im a bit iffy for the characterization but im hoping to improve with time!

Ryusui, Tsukasa and Kinro with a s/o who likes astronomy!

tsukasa: 

-listens to your rants with a content smile on his face.

-he actually learns a lot from you and keeps up pretty well, occasionally asking questions because hes genuinely invested in what youre talking about.

-he has a lot of common knowledge about stars and planets, just space in general, so when you expand on those things in such an engaging way, he cant help but find it a bit endearing and attractive.

-he teases you a bit for how excited you can get and he only smiles wider when you get flustered and defend yourself.

-he lets you showcase your collection of gemstones and patiently nods while you explain each one. he has an absurd amount of patience with you showcases and will get sooo mad if someone disrespects or interrupts you.

-at first, he was always a bit confused why you’d come to him and talk about this stuff. As blunt as ever, he’d ask you “why are you always talking about planets and gemstones with me?” and you were SO embarrassed you took it as a sign of him not being interested or just being irritated.

-but then he’d say “i never knew you know so much. Its fascinating.” 

-and you coming to him about this stuff only becomes routine for the both of you.

-stargazing with him also becomes routine. every night you two find a spot with a good view and stare up at the starry sky, exchanging constellation and star facts. sometimes you're only watching for a couple of minutes, sometimes you're out for an hour, but bottom line is that tsukasa loves your company and knowledge.

-the jokes and puns sometimes really do get a chuckle out of him, same with pick up lines as well.

-(he thinks its the cutest thing ever)

-”your name must be andromeda, because we are destined to collide ;)”

-he laughs and pats your head aww

-he doesnt do it often, but sometimes he catches you off guard and flatters you with astronomy pick up lines as well

-”in this entire universe, all i want is you”

-”??!?!?”

-he’s…completely clueless.

-when you rant, hes usually a bit confused and startled and kinda overall goes “hah?”

-but he sees how much this all means to you and so he tries his best to keep up with the things you talk about, even if most of it sounds like total gibberish to him (it might as well, cut him some slack).

-he’ll repeat back the things he has comprehended to you in an apprehensive tone and occasionally ask questions that only further encourage your rants. Sometimes it gets all a bit much for him and asks you to simplify or cut it out for a second so he can think.

-dont mistaken his confused expression with annoyance, hes doing his best.

-i think your gemstone knowledge is much more intriguing. the gemstones are all very pretty and the way you explain each one is interesting and so sometimes he'll sit crossed legged in the grass with you while you lay out your collection in the grass and go over each one.

-he'll keep his hands over his mouth while you talk and his eyes trail from your hand gestures to the stones themselves.

-(he's a little embarrassed when ginro teases him for being so invested).

-you usually have to make really simple references if you were to use cheesy pick up lines so he’s able to understand what youre trying to say, but it usually leaves him flustered and pouty.

-”kinro”

-”are you into astronomy?”

-”well, probably not as much as you, b-”

-”because your ass is out of this world.”

-he despises you (in a loving way)

ryusui:

-completely understands your passion.

-as a captain, he’s learned quite a bit about the stars and old fashioned means of navigation.

-he absolutely encourages your rambles, piling onto the information you share until you’re both excitedly babbling on about stars and such.

-which is why you're rarely shy when it comes to discussing this stuff with ryusui- he's just not the type to shame or even tease you for that matter. if you DO ever get embarrassed, ryusui immediately shares your energy and shares his own knowledge.

-hes not as experienced in the gemstone department though, so when you show off all the ones youve collected, he’ll pick them up and examine them carefully, making comments on their appearances.

-with planets, i’m sure he knows a little bit more than the basics (probably had a space phase), but nevertheless is interested by the facts you share with him.

-”realllly??! Haha! I never knew that! You sure know your stuff, Y/N! I desire your passion and knowledge!”

-and so he’s more than okay with observing you and listening to your rambles, whether its about something he can contribute more to like the stars or whether its something thats completely unfamiliar to him such as gemstones. 

-as for jokes and puns- he loves them.

-absolutely CANNOT get enough of them and will laugh his ass off at ones he finds particularly witty

-also flatters you with a bunch of astronomy related pickup lines

-sometimes you try to out do each other because of course

-”who took the stars out the sky and put them in your eyes?”

-”your smile must be a black hole; nothing can escape its pull.”

-its goofy and corny but you two have fun with it.

ryusui gets super sick on valentines day and has to cancel his plans with tsukasa :c 

later that afternoon tsukasa pays him a visit and ryusui cant believe his eyes. the guy has on a mask with a big grin on it and pair of ridiculous heart-shaped glasses. ryusui laughs until he tears up, instantly cheering up after being down all morning. 

tsukasa spends the next few hours by his side (after giving him a matching pair of glasses because of course he did). they play games, have dinner together in his room, and tsukasa even wears his favorite hat for a while. ryusui forgets all about being sick. its one of the best valentines he can remember
