Bobby watched Dean drive away. He never imagined he'd do something like that. He turned to see y/n on the ground.
"No...no Sammy. Come back." She dug her fingers into the ground. "Please." She sobbed as she continued digging as if the cage would still be under the ground. She hoped by some miracle it would open up and give her best friend back.
"Y/n let go." Bobby tried prying her hands off the ground. "Let go God dammit your fingers are bleeding." He jerked her body upwards and dragged her off to his truck. He made her sit inside and grabbed her stuff from her car. He got into the driver's seat, and took off. After an hour of driving she calmed down.
"Hey! How come you're walking again? I mean not that it's bad but I'm curious." Y/n asked Bobby.
"I sold my soul to Crowley to find Death. He said he could give me anything so he gave me my legs back too."
"Crowley the demon? Gave you your legs back?"
"Strange world we live in." Bobby shrugged. Y/n give him a look. "What?"
"Are you stupid?"
"Excuse me?"
"You sold your soul to a demon? You're gonna have your ass dragged to hell you know that?"
"He said he's borrowing it."
"Wow Bobby, he said and you believed. Thats a demon. You can't trust demons." Bobby didn't say anything after that. Halfway through the drive Y/n called out Bobby's name. He glanced at her urging her to go on.
"I'm pregnant." She said making Bobby hit the brakes abruptly.
"Come again?"
"I'm pregnant."
"What?" He was shocked to the core at the revelation. She only stared ahead not looking him in the eye. "What the hell were you thinking confronting Lucifer? Are you mad? Did you have no regard for your life or that child's?" Bobby yelled as he started to drive again.
"I'm sorry I just couldn't sit back and watch." She whispered.
"Did you three plan this scheme 'kill Bobby of a heart attack'." He sighed and then he paused. "Who's the father?" He asked.
"Dean." She looked out of the window as the scenery passed.
"Figures. Did you tell him?" She shook her head 'no'. "Will you tell him?"
"Do you really think he wants anything to do with me after the way he left?" She snapped. Bobby stayed silent.
"I'm taking you to a hospital, we need to get you checked." Y/n nodded.
The two of them made their way back home after a long drive and a pit stop at the doctors. She was fine and the baby was healthy too. They gave her some prescription and told her to rest. Bobby had told her she'd be staying with him from now on and he won't take no for an answer. He cared for the three of them like their own. Now with Sam being dead and Dean being God knows where he'd like to keep her here safe. Ever more now that she's pregnant.
"I'm telling you, you should tell Dean. He deserves to know."
"Dean didn't give two shits before walking away from us Bobby, we've known him for years. Do you think he'd care for a bastard child like that?" Y/n retorted.
"Watch your language, young lady. That's my grandchild you're talking about." Bobby scolded her. Ofcourse he thinks of Y/n as the daughter her never had.
"Well news flash Bobby this ain't no love child." Bobby rolled his eyes at her comment.
"I'm sure he'd-"
"You know what actually? I'm sure he would want to know but I don't want to tell him. Walking out was his decision and not telling him about this is my decision." Y/n said walking away.
It had been two months since Sam died and Dean left. Y/n still mourned Sam's death and she missed him dearly. She wondered how he'd react to the news of her being pregnant. She's at five months now. She was in the main room cleaning and refilling her guns. Just because she's not allowed to hunt for the time being doesn't mean she won't be cautious.
She heard a knock on the door and she knew Bobby wasn't supposed to be back until later. She grabbed her gun and stuffed it in the back of her jeans. She grabbed her shotgun and went to the door. When she opened the door, her jaw hit floor. She couldn't believe her eyes. There stood Sam Winchester in the flesh.
"Y/n." He breathed out and she pointed the shot gun at his chest. "It's me, Sam."
"Not you're not. Sam's dead."
"I know I died Y/n but I'm back."
"That's not possible. Who brought you back? Was it Dean?" It pained her to say his name but now's not the time to think about that.
"I don't know what or who brought me back but I'm willing to go to every test." He raised his hands in surrender.
"Alright." And with that she shot him.
"Ow son of a bitch. That hurt Y/n." He complained.
"It was just rock salt, don't be a bitch."
"Jerk." Sam replied and for second her guard dropped. Still pointing the gun at him she grabbed a silver knife from her back pocket and threw it at him. He caught it and sliced his arm, he showed her as the blood trickled down his arm. She then grabbed the holy water and threw it at his face.
"A little warning would've been appreciated." Sam sassed  as he wiped the water from his eyes. "Can I hug you now?"
She kept staring at his face. She grabbed his arm and dragged him to main room and made him stand under the devils trap. Sam looked up and then moved away from the trap. Before either of them could say anything Y/n jumped up and wrapped her arms around him. He hugged her back and he felt something different about Y/n as he hugged her.
"How did this happen, Sammy?" She asked as they pulled away.
"Uh i don't know." He replied looking at her oddly. Y/n was thankful that she was wearing one of Sam's shirts, it was huge on her so her body was completely covered. Not that she had huge bump but still whatever she had, it was covered.
"How long have you been back?"
"Two months?"
"TWO MONTHS? SAM WINCHESTER YOUVE BEEN BACK FOR TWO MONTHS???" She exclaimed loudly. "Where have you been for the past two months?"
"Yeah I've been researching, I needed to know how I came back and uh I went to see Dean." He explained.
"You met Dean? Why's he not here?" She shouldn't care but she did.
"I didn't meet him. I just saw him." Sam replied.
"What do you mean? Why didn't you meet him? Where is he?"
"He is living with Lisa and Ben. He uh... he looked normal, he's living the apple pie life he always wanted and I couldn't go up there and take it all away from him." Sam told her with a sad smile. They both knew Dean would drop anything for his brother.
Y/n knew Lisa, she's met her once when they helped her get her son, Ben, back. Lisa was in Dean's life way before Y/n was. That was his only serious long term relationship she's ever known of. Lisa is a wonderful woman and it made sense why he left Y/n for someone like her.
"Was he...did he seem happy?" She had to ask.
"The happiest I've ever seen him. I didn't have it in me to go ahead and ruin everything. He looked so happy but I knew if I went in there he'd leave all of it to be back in hunting. I couldn't do that to him." Sam told her honestly.
"I agree."
"Where's Bobby?" Sam asked and the man in question entered the house and gasped at the sight in front of him. He grabbed the shot gun by the stairs and aimed at Sam. "Aw dammit not again."
"It's alright Bobby i checked. I did all the tests." Y/n intervened. The older man lowered his gun.
"Tell me something only Sam Winchester would know!" He demanded.
"A month before I fell, you lost your years to a witch in poker and then Dean lost to get your years back which made him old. But then I won back Dean's years and he turned back to normal." Sam narrated.
"What? When did that happen?" Y/n giggled as Bobby pulled Sam in a hug.
"When Bobby came to help us with the witch. You stayed back when we last hit the road." Sam replied.
"Oh I remember that, but you didn't tell me Dean got old." She laughed.
"Dean told me not to." Sam replied.
"Did you tell him?" Bobby asked Y/n and her eyes widened.
"Tell me what?" Sam asked warily.
"Uh look at that would ya? It's time for lunch. Why don't you wash up Bobby I'll set the table. You must be hungry too Sam." She said walking into the kitchen as Bobby went to freshen up. Sam followed her into the kitchen and she brush past him.
"Tell me what Y/n?"
"Would you like a beer, Sammy?" She pulled out a bottle and passed it to him. He banged his hand against the table gaining her attention.
"Tell me what?"
"I'm pregnant. It's Dean's." Y/n said calmly. The beer bottle slipped from his hands onto floor and shattering into a million pieces.
"What?" He asked completely in shock. Y/n pulled her shirt up a bit and it showed her bump. Sam stared at in utter disbelief. "I had no idea you and him? You and Dean you...?" He stuttered.
"It happened one night. It was a mistake." She lied. Ofcourse it wasn't one night and it wasn't a mistake either. But what can she even tell him.
"Does he know? Did you tell him?"
"No." She replied as she continued to set the food on the table.
"Why? Why wouldn't you tell him? he wanted a family for as long as i can remember."
"And he has a family. With Lisa. And Ben. I'm a hunter Sam, he can't have that white picket fence life with me which has with them. Don't you think he should live with the woman he loves and not with some good lay and a bastard child?" She snapped.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to say that word?" Bobby glared at Y/n as he entered the kitchen.
"What? That's your summoning? I say bastard child and you appear out of thin air?" Y/n replied sarcastically.
"You watch how you speak to me." Bobby's glare deepened.
"You can't kick me out. I'm carrying your grandchild." She stuck her tongue out the man she's come to love, as her father, over the years.
"I can when it's born."
"You wouldn't." She rolled her eyes.
"Are you two done? Because i would like to rewind to the part where you called yourself 'some good lay'." Sam sighed.
"What? You want me to say I was bad?" She joked.
"How are you not affected by all this? Stop acting like it doesn't bother you." Sam bellowed. He knew it must've been killing her inside.
"It doesn't bother me Sam."
"You have to tell Dean." He pressed on.
"I will not and if you did, I will shoot you. Not with a shot gun filled with rock salt but I'll put an actual bullet through you. And this is not an empty threat."
"I know things weren't good the last time we were here, he said things, he was stressed -"
"No Sam. It has nothing to do with what happened the last time."
"What is it then?"
"He left." Bobby said. "After you fell, he drove off leaving me and her behind. He didn't look back and we haven't heard from him since." He said solemnly looking at Y/n.
"I won't tell him. I promise." Sam said to y/n and She nodded. Sam felt a pang of guilt hit him. He remembered the talk he had with hin on their drive to Detroit. If only he hadn't made Dean promise to not find Y/n and go back to Lisa, things would've been different. Dean would've been here with his child and Y/n wouldn't have to go through this all alone. If only he had known. But how could've he known.
"Sam? You zoned out.!" Y/n called out.
"Yeah uhm I'm fine just too much to take in." Y/n nodded in agreement and Sam filled the two of them about the past two months. How his grandfather Samuel is also back from the dead. And he's been staying with him distant maternal cousins for the past two months.
Sam introduced Y/n to Samuel and his family. They've been getting along fine and Sam's back to hunting with the Campbells.
Three months later Y/n gave birth to Adeline Mary Winchester. No-one other than Bobby and Sam knew who the was the father of Adeline. Adeline was the cutest baby Sam had ever seen and much to Y/n's dismay, she looked exactly like her father. She had bright green eyes and dirty blonde hair. She had freckles all over her cheeks and nose just like Dean's. She reminded her too much of Dean.
"She looks exactly like Dean, no offence y/n." Sam said as he cradled his niece.
"None taken, Sammy. I know she looks like him." He placed her in her arms gently. "Hi there sweetheart." Y/n cooed at her daughter. "Isn't she adorable?"
"She's lovely." Sam commented. "I wish Dean was here." She wished too.
"But he's not."
"Because he doesn't know." Sam replied.
"I'd like to keep it that way. And we're not having this conversation again."
Y/n missed hunting. She'd been staying put and helping with research at Bobby's but she missed hunting. Neither of the men allowed her to go on hunts even if it was a basic salt and burn. Adeline had turned four months old three days ago. She was currently in Bobby's arms as she slept and Sam's on a hunt with Samuel.
The phone rang and Y/n answered it before it rang too much and woke up Addy.
"It's Gemma." She's one of Sam's distant cousins. Barely eighteen but a good hunter. "Me and Will are on a hunt and seems like we might need backup." Y/n relayed the information to Bobby hoping he'd let her go since there's no one else. The old man rolled his eyes and nodded. Y/n squealed with happiness and kissed his cheek.
"Thank you. Addy darling mommy's gonna be back before you know it." She kissed her daughter's cheek. "Don't bother the old man okay? I love you."
Y/n packed her stuff and drove her car to the town Gemma told her they would be in. It was dark when she left Sioux Falls and she arrived at the town at 4:20am. She met up with Gemma and Will. They decided they'd get those ambush the nest first thing in the morning. The three stayed in a motel room where Gemma took one bed and Y/n slept on the other. William was kind enough to give up on a bed and opt for the pullout couch instead. It had been a while since Y/n had been in a motel room.
It reminded her of Dean, how he would pull her in for a kiss every time Sam went out. Or how he would make her feel good when they shared a room. How he would make sweet passionate love to her and how the two of them created Adeline in a motel room. Then she felt bitter. He didn't make love to her, he had sex with her. If only he loved her like her told her, he would've never hurt her this bad. Or leave her alone by herself.
The morning came earlier than she expected and the three of them drove to the warehouse which was the supposed Vampire nest. There were nine vampires in total. Y/n hadn't felt this thrill in the past few months and she was thriving on it. Pumped up with adrenaline, she went in for the kill and ended up killing five on her own. All her frustration washing away with vampires' blood . Gemma and Will finished off the other four. The two rookies were impressed by her skills. The sun had set when they were with cleaning and disposing off the bodies. The three skipped town as soon as they cleaned up because a few of Gemma and Will's guns were at the motel, out in the open, the cleaning maid saw them and called the police.
They stopped two towns over to grab a few drinks. It was around nine pm. It had been a long time since y/n had alcohol. They went inside the bar and grabbed a table. Gemma and Will ordered beers but Y/n went for whiskey. She downed it one go and asked for another.
"Hey don't look at me like that, it's been a while i hunted or even drank." The two smirked and cheers to her. She decided to give Bobby a call and let him know that she'd be home in a few hours and asked if Addy was doing okay. To which he told that Sam's back and Addy has been with him since. She sighed in relief when she heard that.
"How's Addy?" Gemma asked.
"She's good. Sammy is back and she's with him right now." Y/n smiled thinking about her little girl. Her Dean jr.
The bar door opened and two men walked inside, one of the them was chattering too loudly which made Y/n look up and she wished she hadn't. She saw Dean walking in with a man she didn't recognise. She watched as Dean heard his friend's chatter with a smile on his face. He looked...normal. Just some guy you'd find at a bar on the weekend. He didn't look like Dean Winchester. The one she knew. She hoped he doesn't see her but has luck ever been on her side? He looked at her and their eyes met.
Dean stopped dead in his tracks as soon as his eyes landed on her. His heart felt like it would burst out of his chest. It's almost been an year since he last saw her but the mere sight of her was enough to make him fold. She looked just a beautiful as the day he left her. The day he broke her heart but ripped his own into pieces. She looked like he had gained some weight, but it suited her. And then his gaze dropped to her lips, those same lips that he used to kiss sore, the same lips let out those sinful noises when he made her feel good. Those lips, he'd give anything to feel against his own.
"Dean, are you okay?" Sid asked as he noticed Dean stop.
"Yeah man, I'm good." He said still looking at her. He knows he shouldn't, but he couldn't help himself before he spoke, "i think I saw someone from my high school, let's go say hi." He said walking towards her table.
"Sure." Sid followed behind him.
Y/n's heart rate picked up as he got closer, why is he walking towards us. Is going to act like he knows me? The sheer audacity of this man. Hasn't he broken me enough why..
"Hey.! Gracie Henderson, right?" Dean spoke as he reached their table. Gemma and Will turned to look up at him.
Damn you Dean. Fuck you. He had to strike a nerve there. That was their alias when they had to go undercover as a couple. It was always Y/n and Dean since Sam couldn't like a couple with Y/n. He just had to make everything awkward, so it was always Dean and Y/n. Gracie Henderson and her husband Troy Henderson.
Ofcourse he couldn't miss the chance to hurt me again. Y/n thought to herself.
"Huh?" Y/n feigned ignorance.
"You're Gracie right? We went to high school together." Dean said looking right at her.
"Sorry? I think you have the wrong person." Y/n spoke the alcohol in her system giving her the courage to speak to him. "I never went to high school and its Adeline."
"Alright my bad." Dean said, his friend mumbling a sorry before they went to sit at the table beside theirs. His friend went to order for them and he sat there eavesdropping the conversation happening at the table beside him.
"He definitely knows you. That was one of your aliases." Gemma said as soon as Dean left. Y/n shrugged in response ordering another drink. "Cmon y/n tell us why did you act like you didn't know him?"
"Because he's Dean Winchester." She practically sneered his name. Dean flinched at the way she said name.
"What really ? He's Dean?" Will spoke for the first time in awhile. Y/n nodded.
"Why didn't you tell him to join us?" Gemma asked and Will added a "yeah why not?"
"Are you two dumb? What part of his appearance says he's a hunter? He's not in the business anymore. And the guy that came with him? He screams 9 to 5. So what did you two expect me to invite him to our table and reminisce the time we went to a fucking high school to burn the body of his brother's friend and his friend's bully?" Y/n spoke agitatedly and the two nodded in understanding. She downed her drink.
"I can't believe i came here out for this. You two needed backup for nine vampires? You know Bobby doesn't let me go on hunts. I came out to hunt after almost a year and its some stupid fucking vampires." She sighed dramatically.
Dean perked up when he heard her say she hadn't hunted in almost an year. Is she out of the business too? What does she mean Bobby doesn't let her hunt.
"You haven't hunted in almost a year and still you took down five vampires on your own." Will sat there in total awe. "You're my new role model."
Sid had already came back but Dean's attention was still on y/n. He smiled when he heard she took down five vampires on her own, that's my girl. He thought to himself.
"You two kiddos did good too. I'm sorry I snapped, I'm a bit stressed." Y/n said.
"It's alright." Gemma smiled.
"I'll head out." Y/n said grabbing her jacket and threw a few bills to for her bills.
"You're driving back to Sioux Falls?" Will asked and she nodded. "Aren't you drunk?"
"I've only had three drinks."
"Yeah of whiskey." Gemma added.
"Trust me kiddo. It takes a lot more than that to get me drunk." She replied and Dean noticed a lingering sadness in her voice.
The love of his life has been through hell and back and she's still kicking it. He wishes he could just grab her and disappear from the surface of the earth. To keep her from harms way and keep her protected from all the sadness and hurt. He wish he could love her the way she deserves to be loved. He watched as she left the bar before yelling a "get home safe kiddos."
The first thing y/n did as she reached home was to see Adeline. It was around five in the morning when she reached home. She saw Sam in the kitchen eating cereal and looking at his computer while he held Adeline on his lap.
"Good morning." She said as she entered the kitchen.
"Look Addy, mommy's back." Sam said holding her up. The baby giggled as she saw her mother approaching her.
"There's my baby." She picked up Adeline in her arms. "Did you miss mommy?" She asked in baby voice and the little girl flailed her arms, excitedly tapping her mother's cheeks.
"How was your 'first' hunt?" Sam joked earning an eye roll.
"It was good, vamps nest." She said sitting beside him, pulling her hair away from Adeline who was gripping it too tightly.
"Are you okay?" Sam asked noticing the stress lines on his best friend's face.
"I'm fine, why'd you ask?"
"You have that look on your face." Sam replied gesturing to her face.
"What look?"
"That look when something is bothering you but you're too prideful to say."
"I don't have such look on my face." Y/n said bouncing Addy on her lap.
"Y/n." Sam stared at her. He knows it's only a matter of seconds before she's spilling the truth.
"I met Dean okay? No big deal." She sighed.
"What? You met Dean? How?" Y/n filled in him with everything that happened after the hunt.
"He looked like a common man, it was weird seeing him. And the audacity to walk up to me and say hi? He was lucky he was with someone or I would've bashed his face in the table." Y/n growled her hold tightening on Adeline.
"Maybe he missed you and he thought after seeing you again he could talk to you." Sam said hoping he could get her hate him a little less.
"Well he thought wrong." She said angrily making her way out of the kitchen.
"Do you want me to watch Addy while you rest?" Sam called out from behind her.
"I am very much capable of taking care of my daughter on my own." She snapped, she didn't mean she didn't need Sam's help, she always appreciated his existence. But at the moment her words had a different meaning. She wanted Sam to know that just because she met Dean doesn't mean she will let him be in Adeline's life.
Sam sighed as he watched her walk away. He most definitely understood the meaning behind her words. Y/n went to her room and laid Adeline on the bed. She kneeled beside the bed and looked at her daughter. Adeline wiggled amd giggled staring at her mother. Y/n couldn't help but let a few tears run down her cheek. She never wanted this to be her daughter's life, she didn't need her innocent baby to grow up around monsters, without her father being there to protect her.
"How I wish I could hate your father, Addy. I resent him for what he did to us but I still love him. How could I not when he has given me you." She whispered, her daughter stared up the her with her bright green eyes that reminded her so much of her lost love. She placed soft kisses on her chubby cheeks before putting her in her crib. Y/n sighed as she got into bed. Little did she know this was the last time she had a good night's sleep in a long time.

Nancy squeezed her bra strap tightly as she waited for someone to call her name.
The front room was completely empty after the last lady - a pregnant woman - had gone in, and left over five minutes ago.
And yet, Nancy hadn't been called.
The room was in complete silence, so much that was just making her grow more anxious than ever before in her life.
This was the first time she was at Doctor Winchester's office alone. All times before, mum was just by her side.
Right now, though, she was going to go in alone. She was an adult, after all.
It was a little weird to have a male gynaecologist, but he was highly recommended by her mother's doctor, and was covered by her insurance.
After turning eighteen, she didn't feel the need to go back for quite some time. But now, she was thinking that maybe it was time to get on birth control. That meant that she needed to see her doctor again.
Doctor Samuel Winchester.
"Nancy Sousa?" she heard, and looked up quickly, finding a green-eyed man staring at her.
A nurse in blue scrubs was standing in front of her, looking at her with a little smile on his face.
"I'm Nurse Dean Winchester, are you Nancy Sousa?"
The little brunette's eyes stared at him in awe. She didn't know nurses ever came out this pretty.
"Uh..." she mumbled. "Where do I go?"
"I'll take you," Dean smiled.
She nodded slowly, a bit surprised.
Didn’t they have a specific person at the front desk for those things?
Why did the nurse have to come to get her?
And his name…
He threw her a look, and Nancy felt her face burning hot as she blushed.
"Call me Dean, sweetheart," he told her.
She nodded.
"Mister Dean," she corrected herself. "I've never seen you around before."
He raised his eyebrows at the question.
"I'm new," he told her. "Got the job because of my brother, Doctor Samuel."
She looked down at her own hands. Of course. To be this good-looking, he had to be related to doctor Winchester.
"He told me about you," he said, sounding like he was smirking. "You're even prettier than I thought."
Nancy looked at him with wide eyes, surprised and flustered.
"I'd stare at your pussy for free, and Sammy is paid to do that," he chuckled. "Lucky guy."
She choked on her saliva, shocked, but before Nancy could say anything about it, the door to the doctor's office opened, revealing doctor Winchester.
"Thank you, Dean," Samuel said quickly. "Come in, Miss Sousa. I was waiting for you."
Nancy stepped through the door with her face still on fire, and sat down quickly in front of the large white desk in the room.
"I hope I didn't make you wait too long," Doctor Winchester shot her a charming smile.
"Not really," she mumbled. "Uh... the nurse...."
"My brother," he pressed his lips together, looking bothered. "He didn't get the memo that he doesn't have quite that charming of a personality."
She giggled a little, and Sam grinned.
"I suppose your mother is waiting outside?" he asked, writing something down on his computer.
Nancy shook her head, pushing her hair behind her ears.
"No, sir, it's just me today," she mumbled.
Doctor Sam hummed a confirmation.
"Of course," he said simply. "A young woman like you needs her privacy."
She nodded, agreeing. It was a little scary to do this, but he was right. She was an adult now, and should consider herself and be treated as such.
"Alright," he looked away from the screen. "Is there anything you're worried about? Any pain, any lump?"
Nancy shook her head.
"And your period?"
"As regular as always," she assured him.
He hummed positively again.
"Any pain during sex I should be worried about?"
She shook her head.
"No pain and no sex," she mumbled.
He hummed a little, looking a little intrigued.
Nancy waited for him to say something about that. It was normal, right, for her doctor to be asking her about her sex life? He was her gyno, after all.
"But I'm dating someone," she said, a little too quickly. "And I may need birth control. Soon."
Doctor Samuel raised his eyebrows, and though he was wearing a mask, Nancy could see he was surprised.
"Well, it is very wise and smart of you to come to me before you do it," he said, finally.
Nancy exhaled, forcing herself to relax.
"Yeah, I... I wanted to make sure I'm doing the right thing," she mumbled.
Doctor Samuel nodded.
"And are you sure you know what you're doing?" he asked. "That you want to do it?"
Nancy frowned, looking at him, though it was hard to read his expression under the mask.
Why was he wearing a mask? Wasn't she supposed to be seeing his face before the physical exam?
"I... I don't know?" she stuttered.
He rested his hands on the desk between them, and she couldn't help noticing how big they were.
"How long have you known this guy?" he asked. "I mean, I suppose it is a guy, that is the only sort of relationship that demands you to get birth control."
She nodded, a little embarrassed.
Yes, it was a guy. She had been dating him since before graduation, she trusted him a lot now, he was both her friend and a really good boyfriend.
"I mean, it's been almost a year?" she answered, confused. "It's enough right?"
Doctor Sam sighed, moving to the computer again and writing something down.
"And do you want the pill, an IUD..." he listed. "Maybe an implant?"
Nancy looked in his eyes, realising he wasn't so sure about the last one.
"Which one is quicker?" she mumbled.
"The pill," he told her. "It's the one I recommend the most for someone in your age group."
She nodded slowly.
"You know, it is the most comfortable one in terms of pain and management..." he listed.
That made her frown, confused.
"Pain?" she asked.
Sam confirmed, looking a little worried.
"Well, you know... The insertion and the adjustment period of the IUD and the implant are really hurtful," he told her.
"Oh," she sighed.
Nancy sat back in her seat.
"And with the pill, you just have to remember to take it every day," he said, looking like he was smiling with the way his eyes were squeezed.
She nodded, and he chuckled.
"And if you forget, you'll get a little bum in the oven," he giggled.
Her cheeks heated up in response, and Nancy clenched her hands at the hem of her dress.
"I should put on my gown," she realised.
Doctor Samuel nodded.
“You can go behind the curtain,” he told her. “I’ll just write you a prescription and meet you there in a minute.”
Nancy shot him a confused look, but hurried up when he raised her an eyebrow.
She distinctly remembered how he usually left the room and only came back once her mother told him she was ready. Maybe undressing behind the curtain was the norm, and he was just trying to accommodate mum before?
The short brunette tried to be quick, undressing in a hurry while she listened to him typing something down in his computer, and put the ugly gown on before folding her dress and underwear, placing them on the chair.
“Are you ready, Miss Sousa?” he asked, and she could see his silhouette as her doctor rose from his seat.
Nancy’s eyes widened once she saw him on his feet. She had never realised how tall and strong he was before.
"Yes, sir."
She watched as he walked around the door and took the things that were supposed to keep her feet up, and swallowed down, a little nervous.
Doctor Winchester slowly pulled the side of the curtain facing the wall open, and looked at her with soft and sweet eyes.
“Lay down, please.”

I never really wanted this to be my life. If I had been given a choice, I would have chosen a normal, apple pie life. Unfortunately for me, that was never an option. Being the daughter of John Winchester, I was never going to be anything but a hunter. I was born and raised in the life, it’s all I have ever known. My older brothers, Dean and Sam, were raised in the life too, though Dean had four years and Sam had six months of a normal life before everything went sideways. Their mom Mary died and while Sam was too young to remember it, too young to even remember her, Dean was old enough to have lasting mental scars from it. From that night on, their lives were never the same. Moving around from place to place, staying in less than desirable motel rooms, John searched for the thing that killed Mary, learning all about the things that went bump in the night and ganking those sons of bitches along the way. Dean and Sam always being brought along for the ride, though John would leave them in the motel room while he was out working the job. As Dean got older, he started helping his dad out on jobs, Sam still being too young to be told about what was really out there for a time, but eventually, he too started to help out.
It was on one of these jobs that John met and had a bit of a thing with my mom, resulting in her getting pregnant with me. Surprisingly, John actually stuck around, leaving every now and then to go work jobs. Though my mom wasn’t a hunter herself, she knew about them and what they hunted, so she was more than okay with John’s suggestion in raising me in the lifestyle. Everything was fine for about four years, but then my mom died in a car accident. John took me, Sam and Dean and left, not wanting to stick around the place where the second woman he loved died. After Mary, he never thought that he could love again but then he met my mom and he thought that maybe, just maybe he was catching a break for the first time in a long time, but then she also died. So, continuing on the search for the yellow-eyed demon and killing whatever came their way, the Winchesters traveled the country.
This all brings us to now. All of us grown up, me being nineteen, dad has since died, Mary came back to life but then died again, my brothers and I have also died and come back, though they have died a lot more than me, friends have died and even Bobby died. We haven’t exactly had a very good run of luck. Like today. “Hey you guys want anything? I’m going on a supply run.” I asked my brothers who were both sitting at the table, books and laptops laid out on the table as they did research for the current case. “Pie.” Was all Dean said, not even looking up from his laptop. “Of course, pie. How about some cake instead?” I asked with a grin, teasing my brother. Dean shot his head up and gave me a glare. “I- Cake isn't- I swear Mia, if you get me cake instead of pie I-” I cut Dean off with a laugh. “Calm down, Dean. Don’t burst a blood vessel.” I told him, causing him to shake his head and look back to his screen. Sam all the while chuckling to himself in the background. “Besides, when have I ever forgotten the pie? That’s Sam's job.” I teased. Sam gave me his bitchface and opened his mouth to defend himself, but quickly shut it, knowing that I was right. “You want anything Sammy?” I asked him as I started walking to the steps that led out of the bunker. “Uhh, yeah. Just some more bananas. Thanks.” I rolled my eyes at Sam and nodded my head, quietly snorting when I heard Dean call him a rabbit. Leaving the bunker and making my way to the store, I started getting this really weird feeling. I didn’t know what it meant, but what I did know, was that as a hunter, you trusted your instincts and any weird feelings that you got. So I made sure that I was on alert and ready for whatever.
I got to the store, got the supplies and was making my way back to the car when I felt someone behind me. I turned around to face whoever or whatever it was and was suddenly in a warehouse. Standing in front of me, were three feathered dicks. “Oh great. What does the godsquad want now?” I asked, annoyed. The three angels just looked at me, then at each other then back at me before advancing towards me. Before I could do anything, I was grabbed from behind by a fourth one. “Look, if you guys wanna get a little frisky, you’ve got the wrong girl. I’m not really into this whole four on one thing.” I said, forcing a laugh and a grin. The one that looked to be in charge walked up to me until they were standing right in front of me and smirked. “Let’s see how funny you find this.” He said to me as he brought his hand up to touch his fingers to my forehead. Suddenly, everything went black.
When I woke up, it was still light out. I looked around, noticing that I was on the ground and also noticing that I definitely wasn’t in that warehouse anymore. “What the hell?” I said out loud and I groaned and rubbed my head. I have no idea where the hell I was. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket to call Dean, but I didn’t have any service. I looked at my phone confused for a moment before putting it back into my pocket. I felt around and was relieved to find that my gun was still there. Letting out a sigh of relief I stood up. “At least I still have my gun.” I said quietly to myself. All I had with me were the clothes on my back and whatever I had in my pockets, which wasn’t much. Just my wallet, phone, keys and gun. Better than nothing I guess. I started walking to, who knows where. I just knew that I needed to get to a phone so I could let Sam and Dean know what was going on. It took hours of walking, but I finally got to a store. Walking in, I went straight over to the counter to ask the clerk if they had a phone I could borrow. He told me that the phone wasn’t for customers, which annoyed the hell outta me. As I turned to leave I noticed the newspaper on the counter. Confused, I picked it up and took a closer look. July 12 1983. “1983? Oh crap.” The realization dawning on me. Putting the paper back down, I left the store. Crap, crap, crap. Those feathered douches sent me back in time, no wonder my phone has no service. I walked down the sidewalk annoyed until it dawned on me that I have no way of contacting my brothers. They’re not going to know what happened to me. I would pray to Cas, but even if he did hear me and show up, it wouldn’t be the same Cas that I know. “Dammit!” I quietly cursed under my breath. Checking my wallet and seeing that I had some cash, I decided it would be best to find a cheap motel and come up with some sort of game plan.
Over the weeks then months, I did everything that I could think of to try and get in contact with my brothers and Cas and even getting desperate enough to pray to any angel that would listen. Nothing seemed to work though. I ran out of money pretty quickly and had to resort to swindling people at pool and eventually, running credit card scams. I guess it was lucky that I had my dad and brothers to teach me all this stuff because otherwise I would be screwed right now. At some point I had gotten a car and just decided to live out of that. I always kept moving, never really wanting to stay in one place for too long. I soon realized that there didn’t seem to be any monsters around, well, not that I could tell. Everything seemed almost too perfect. No monsters, no nothing. Even though there weren’t any signs of monsters, I still did my best to stock my trunk up with whatever weapons I could get my hands on. I wanted more than anything to get back to my brothers but as time went on, it being about a year since the angels sent me back here, I started to come to terms with this probably being my life now. While I was sad at the prospect of never seeing Dean, Sam, Cas and Jack again, I was also filled with a sense of hope. Hope that maybe, this was my chance to have that normal, apple pie life that I have always wanted.
It was now 1984 and I had made my way to a place called Santa Carla. It was weird, I had never heard of this place before. There were lots of things that were different about where/when I was compared to where I am from. It was almost like, not only had I been transported back in time, but also to a different reality or something like that. I mean, it would help to explain all these things, the lack of monsters for one. As I drove through town, I took a bit of a look around. I didn’t know what it was about this place, but I felt like I never wanted to leave. Making my way to the boardwalk parking lot, I parked my car, turned off the engine and let out a sigh. “I guess this is home for a while.” I said to myself. The car park was pretty crowded, which I guess was to be expected with it being the beginning of summer. I spent the first couple weeks just sticking to the boardwalk during the day. I started to hear rumors of this place being called “The murder capitol of the world”. This didn’t spook me too much though, I was a hunter after all. Well, I guess ex-hunter now.  Tonight, I decided to check the boardwalk out and see what the night life was like. I walked around for a while just looking at things. Nothing too special happened that night and for the next few weeks, I kept going back to the boardwalk at night. I didn’t know why, but whenever I went there at night, I felt like I was searching for something but I didn’t know what it was. I had also started to feel like I was being watched. I tried to keep an eye out for whoever or whatever was watching me, but I could never find them. Well, that was until tonight. Four punk looking bikers were watching me. The second I laid eyes on them, I knew that there was something off about them but I just couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I wasn't scared of them though, it took a lot more than some rough looking bikers to scare me. As the night went on, it seemed like they were following me. I decided to test it and walked off of the boardwalk and onto the beach. I made my way to a secluded part of the beach and once I was sure that no one would be around to see or hear us, I stopped in my tracks and turned to face them.
“Why have you been following me?” I asked them, arms crossed and my eyes watching their every move. They sent me smirks and glanced at each other before looking back at me. “We saw you on the boardwalk one night and we wanted to get to know you.” The short one with a long and curly mullet said. “Yeah, we thought you looked cool, sugar.” The one with wild, blonde hair added. He looked like he belonged in a band with the way he dressed and styled his hair. “So that involved stalking me?” I questioned, my eyebrow raised in question. “Sorry about that. We didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” This time it was the tall, brunette that spoke up. He seemed genuine in what he was saying. I couldn’t explain why but I just felt as though I could trust them. It really didn’t make any sense, seeing as I didn’t even know them, but then again, nothing seemed to make much sense anymore. “So how about it, doll?” The Billy Idol looking one said. He seemed to be the leader of the group. I thought for a moment. I knew that Dean and Sam would kill me for making such a bad decision. “You guys going to tell me your names first?” I asked. Amused that they have yet to even introduce themselves. “I’m David, that’s Dwayne, Paul and that’s Marko.” David introduced himself and the others, pointing to each of them as he said their names. They all greeted me with a hello and or a wave. “I’m Mia. It’s nice to meet you boys.” From that night on, I had found myself stuck with four incredibly attractive punk biker friends. They stuck to me like glue. Well, at night they did. I never seemed to see them during the day and whenever I asked about it, they seemed to always come up with an excuse. It didn’t take me very long to figure out why. They were vampires. They never hung out with me during the day, they went off during the night when we were all hanging out, people were going missing like crazy and the way they looked at people was akin to how a predator would watch its prey. It didn’t take a genius to figure it out. Dean and Sam would kill me if they knew that I didn’t gank them on the spot when I figured it out. And to make matters worse, I had started dating them. I knew that it was wrong. I knew that I should have taken them down and saved the people of Santa Carla, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Just the thought made me sick and made me feel like if I did gank them, I would be making the worst mistake of my life. It was like I had some sort of unexplainable bond with them.
The boys and I mostly hang out at the boardwalk but we will sometimes go back to the cave and hangout there. When they took me to the cave for the first time, I was honestly pretty shocked. I heard the word cave and thought that it would look like a, well, like a cave. But this was completely different. While yes, it was still a cave, it was filled with so much stuff and actually looked pretty homey. David had told me about the hotel that used to be there and how it was built on a fault, causing it to fall when there was a big earthquake. It was honestly really nice having people to be around again. I didn’t realize just how lonely and isolated I had become over the past year. Being with David, Dwayne, Paul and Marko made me feel more at ease and happier than I have been in a very long time. This was the first time since I got zapped here, that I have truly felt content about my situation. I know I shouldn’t be feeling so comfortable and trusting with vampires, but I knew that they would never hurt me. I trusted them with my life. I stayed in the cave with them a couple times a week, but for the most part, I still slept in my car. I didn’t want to tell the boys about this because that could lead to more questions and those would be questions I would either not have answers for, or I just wouldn’t want to answer. I couldn’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to have to try and explain to them that, not only am I a hunter, but I am also from the future and another reality. To be fair, they all had a pretty big secret that they still haven’t told me. Them being vampires. I decided to just not bring it up to them and let them tell me in their own time. Maybe that would give me the push that I needed to tell them about my own secret. Right now I was sleeping in my car. I was woken up by a knocking on my window. I shot up, gun at the ready, aimed at whoever was at my window. I lowered my gun as soon as I saw my boyfriend's face. Dwayne. I opened the door, got out and tucked my gun away. “Crap. I’m sorry Dwayne.” I told him as I closed the door. “It’s okay princess, but why do you have a gun?” He asked me, worry laced in his deep voice. I shrugged at him. “Protection.” I told him simply. Technically not lying. Dwayne nodded in understanding, though I could see that he knew I wasn't telling the whole truth. Dwayne brushed a piece of hair away from my face as he took a couple steps forward, making me back myself up against the car. It wasn’t to be intimidating though. “Why are you sleeping in your car?” He asked, his hand coming down and resting on my hip. I looked up at Dwayne. Knowing that this could make him ask even more questions, the kind of questions that I was worried about, I answered him. “I've been living in my car?” I told him but it sounded more like a question.
Dwayne stood there, his face one of shock. “You should have told us sooner.” He said, scolding me slightly but only out of worry for me. I tried to tell him that it’s fine but he didn’t want to hear it. He then asked me how long I have been living in my car for and when I told him that it’s been about a year, he all but forced me to move into the cave with him and the others. I rolled my eyes but didn’t put up too much of a fight. I didn’t mind the cave and I would be lying if I said that I wasn't looking forward to some better nights sleep. When Dwayne brought me back to the cave that night and told the others about where I had been sleeping the past year and how I would be moving in with them, they weren’t mad per say, but they, like Dwayne, weren’t too happy to hear about it. They just wanted me to be safe and wished that I had told them sooner. Though, they were very happy that I would be living with them now. It didn’t take them long to put together a room for me. They wanted to give me a space that could be mine and make me feel like this was my home because, well, it was my home now. For the next two months everything went fine. The boys and I did what we normally did. We went to the boardwalk, went on rides, played the games on the boardwalk and we all hung out at the cave. Today I had been working on my car. My  car was parked up top where their bikes normally were. I was lucky that I had Dean to teach me everything he knew about cars. It had gotten dark while I was working, so I took out the flashlight that I had and just continued. I heard the sound of gravel crunching and knew that, that meant that Dwayne was awake and had come out to help me. He would often come out and help me while I worked on my car, just as long as it was after dark. It was really nice to do something together, just the two of us. “You need some help, princess?” Dwayne asked. He crouched down beside the car and waited for my answer. “No, I’m almost done. Thank you anyway, Dwayne.” I called out from underneath the car. Dwayne being Dwayne, he decided to help me anyway. He grabbed the other torch that was in my toolbox, slid himself underneath the car with me and held the light up so I could see better. I looked at him and he just gave me a satisfied grin.
I had always dreamed of having that normal, apple pie life but with the boys being vampires, I knew that wouldn’t exactly happen. It didn’t seem to matter though. I was probably the happiest that I had ever been. Not to say that I wasn't happy with my brothers, I was, but this was just different. I was in love. In love with four amazing guys that, I had come to realize, would do anything for me. As I would for them. They made me so incredibly happy and made me feel so safe and loved. I had finally fully accepted that I would be here forever, no way back to my brothers or my old life, and I was okay with that now. I had Dwayne, David, Paul and Marko. Speaking of Paul and Marko, I loved how wild and crazy they were. They were always stirring shit up wherever they went, usually pulling me into their chaos. I was always up for some chaos though. I mean, my life before all of this was pure chaos, but not exactly in the fun way. More in the, fighting for my life, kind of way. With Paul and Marko, it was always fun. After I had finished with my car, Dwayne helped me pack my tools away. I put the toolbox in the backseat of my car and walked over to the stairs, Dwayne right behind me. I spent the rest of the night hanging out with the boys at the boardwalk. Paul and Marko were all over me all night. They never left my side for a moment. I was standing with all of them around the bikes, I had Paul behind me, his arms around my waist and Marko was in front of me, also holding onto me. They were the two of the group that were the most comfortable with all types of PDA. David and Dwayne did show some forms of PDA but that was mostly a kiss here and there, holding my hand and a hug. Paul and Marko however, had zero shame. I was trying to talk to David but I could barely concentrate. Paul had his face in my neck, kissing it. “You okay there, doll?” David asked with a smirk, taking a drag from his cigarette. “I’m fine.” I told him with a stifled giggle. I could feel Paul laugh into my neck. “I think she’s ticklish.” Marko said with a chuckle. I could see the look in his eyes and it said that he was about to mess with me. “Don’t you dare, Marko.” I told him, jokingly. “Alright boys, leave her alone.” David told them, trying to save me from their terror. When it was time for all of us to leave, David pulled me over in his direction, wanting me to ride with him. I happily agreed, hopping on the back of his bike, wrapping my arms around him and resting my head against his back.
The next night, I was laying on my bed in my room. The boys told me that they had to go out and to “deal with some stuff” and that they would be back soon. I knew what that meant, even if they didn’t know that I knew. They were going to feed. I just told them to be safe. I spent that time listening to music and cleaning my guns. The boys obviously knew that I had guns and they actually thought that it was pretty cool. I even took them out shooting a few times, which was a good and a bad idea. While David already had experience and Dwayne was a very quick learner, Marko and Paul went a bit crazy, but luckily nobody got hurt. I didn’t know it, but the boys had gotten back and were currently going through the trunk of my car. They had snagged my keys earlier without me knowing. David was the one that had this nagging feeling that there was something that I was hiding from them. So naturally, he decided that rummaging around in the trunk of my car for, he didn’t even know, was the best idea. The boys didn’t know exactly what they were going to find, but it definitely wasn’t the haul of weapons, holy water, silver etc. in the secret compartment. Their hearts sank. Their mate was a hunter and their mate was possibly going to kill them when they found out what they were. Or worse, they thought. You already knew and you were just trying to get close to them so you could make the kill. Why you kept this charade up for so long, they didn’t know. But either way, they knew that they needed to confront you about all of this. So that’s exactly what they did. After they put everything back in its place and closed the trunk, they made their way back inside the cave and to my room.
I was now laying on my bed, a book in my hands, when they entered. I looked up at them and smiled. However, my smile faded when I saw the serious, sad and almost heartbroken expressions on all of their faces. I promptly put my book to the side and sat up. “Boys? What’s wrong? Did something happen?” I asked them worriedly. I was worried that something had happened while they were out. Maybe one of them got hurt, but I couldn’t see any injuries. David was the first to speak up. “Is there something that you need to tell us?” He asked, his voice stern and laced with malice. I gave them a confused look. “What are you talking about?” I asked David. I didn’t have any idea what this was about. “Cut the shit, Mia. We know you’re a hunter. We saw what’s in your trunk.” He said. My heart dropped at his words. Oh crap, they know. I knew that I was going to have this conversation with them at some point, but I never wanted it to happen like this. I let out a sigh and ran a hand down my face. I guess it’s happening now. “Look, I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you boys about this earlier, but it’s not exactly an easy thing to explain.” I told them. “Just tell us!” Paul demanded. He looked so hurt, they all did. Though David masked his hurt with anger. “Yes, I’m a hunter. I know what you boys are. I’ve known basically the whole time but I have no intention of hurting you. I could never hurt you.” I told them, practically pleading for them to believe me. “Then what the hell is all that shit in your trunk?” David asked angrily, his voice raised. I was now standing in front of them. “What I have to tell you is probably going to be difficult for you to believe, but I swear it’s the truth.” I told them. “Try us.” Dwayne spoke up, his arms crossed and face stern. “I was born and raised in the hunter lifestyle, it’s all I’ve ever known. My brothers, Dean and Sam, are hunters too but they aren’t here. They’re back home. I’m not from this reality or time. I’m from a different version of this reality and the year there is 2018. There are more than just vampires in my world and my brothers and I, along with other hunters, we hunt them. I was just out on a supply run when I was ambushed by some feathered douchebag angels and zapped here.” They all stayed silent as I explained everything to them, taking in all the information. When I was finished, Marko was the first one to speak up. “So, if you knew about us this whole time, had all of that stuff in your trunk and are a hunter…. Why haven’t you killed us yet?” He asked me. I gave him a small smile. “Because I love you. I love all of you.” I told them. I told them that from the moment I met them, I have felt a pull to them. A bond. Like there was an invisible thread that tethered me to them.
They exchanged glances with each other before looking back at me. Almost as if they were having a silent discussion with each other. That’s when they decided to explain to me that I was their mate. That, that’s the reason I was feeling that way and that’s why I was so drawn to them. I have heard of this kind of thing before. The vamps in my universe mate for life, so I assumed that this was the same kind of thing. I wasn't freaked out at all by this information. The exact opposite actually. I was happy hearing that we were all meant to be together. After the air had been cleared and all the skeletons were out of the closet, we all made up from our little misunderstanding. By the end of the night, we were all laid in my bed. Our bodies so tangled together that I didn’t know which limb belonged to who. I was glad that they had believed what I had told them and had forgiven me for keeping it from them for so long. They were also very happy that I was okay with them being vampires. They had lots of questions for me about my world/time and about all the different monsters, to which I happily answered as much as I possibly could. “Wait. So the vampires from your world, their faces don’t morph and ALL of their teeth grow long and sharp?” Paul questioned. “Yep.”

"Riley! Now!" Sam yelled as he, Dean, and Castiel fought off a group of demons.
"Exstirpo!" She screamed. There was a bright flash in the room, and every demon in the room was eradicated. The four let out a sigh of relief.
The woman sat down on the floor, drained from using so much of her power. Riley Greene came from an ancient blood-line of witches. When she was younger, her mother taught her how to control her powers and use them for good. She would heal injured birds and make beautiful flowers grow from dead bushes. Riley was a strong believer in natural magic, she never wanted to use sacrificial magic. She would usually tap into the power of her ancestors to get her fuel.
"You boys okay?" She asked, looking around.
"Yeah. Yeah, we're good." Sam nodded. "What about you?" Riley gave him a thumbs up.
"Can we get back to the bunker, please? I'm exhausted."
Sam pulled Riley to her feet, stumbling a bit. She had been feeling dizzy lately, and she had no idea why. Dean clapped her on the shoulder, giving her a smile. "Great work the spell, Riles. We couldn't have done it without you."
"Could you ever do anything without me?" She grinned. "You'd all be dead by now if it wasn't for me."
Dean didn't have a comeback for that statement, as it was fairly true. Riley had been hunting with the boys for six years now, ever since she had stumbled on the boys fighting a leviathan in an alleyway. Of course, the brothers were skeptical when they realized what she was. Hunters never really liked witches. Riley herself never particularly liked Hunters either, they were too cocky for her taste. Sam and Dean eventually warmed up to her over time, and even called on her to help them when they needed a witch.
After a while, Riley began to Hunt with them, as she didn't have anything left where she was at. Her mother was killed by a group of demons who were looking for some kind of spell for Crowley. Dean and Castiel became like brothers to Riley, while Sam was different. Whenever they would go out to the bar after a case, men would flirt with the young witch, and this irritated Sam greatly. After years of unrequited longing, the two finally got together.
The four limped their way back to the Impala, Sam and Riley taking the back seat while Castiel rode shotgun. The woman rested her head on Sam's shoulder, her eyes fluttering shut.
---
Riley doesn't remember being carried inside the bunker, but apparently she was, as she woke up in her shared bed with Sam. She gave him a sleepy smile. "Hey."
"Hey," He said, tucking a lock of black hair behind her ear. "You slept for a while. Are you feeling okay?"
Riley nodded as she yawned. "I'm fine Sam. After doing a big spell my magic needs time to recover, meaning I like to sleep. A lot. And eat, I'm starving."
Sam chuckled. "Okay, what do you want to eat?"
"A veggie burger sounds great. Ooh, add extra pickles."
Sam raised an eyebrow at her. "You hate pickles." Riley shrugged in response. "Alright, I'll be back in a bit. I love you." He said, kissing her on the forehead.
"I love you too." Sam slipped on his shoes before walking out of the room, leaving Riley by herself. She decided to pick up one of her many unread books and started reading. Right now, everything felt calm; Lucifer was back in the cage, Sam and Dean were safe, and Mary was back. However, they were still searching for Kelly Kline.
Riley couldn't really blame her for running. If she was in the same situation as Kelly, she would have no idea how to handle it. She had never given much thought to having children, as her and Sam never really talked about it. She also didn't see how her and Sam could ever raise children with their 'occupation.'
Riley clutched her stomach as it rumbled. She slammed her book shut and ran to the bathroom. She hurled the contents of her stomach into the toilet.
"Hey, Riles, have you seen my-" Dean's voice sounded from the doorway. "Riley!" He rushed to the woman, pulling her hair back. He rubbed her back soothingly as she continued to vomit. Once she was finished, Dean gave her a glass of water. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
Dean gave her a look, meaning he didn't quite believe her. He pressed his palm to her forehead, searching for signs of a fever. He furrowed his eyebrows when he realized that she was cool. "Well, you don't have a fever, so that rules out the flu. Food poisoning?" Dean suggested.
"Probably. After all, you always make us eat crappy fast food." Dean rolled his eyes at the woman.
"You might wanna brush your teeth, cuz your breath reeks." Riley shoved his shoulder, grinning as she stood up. "Anyways, have you seen my magazines anywhere?"
She rolled her eyes. "Get out." Dean nodded, making his way out the door.
Riley climbed back into bed, wrapping herself in blankets. She had no idea why she was still so tired; she had slept for hours.
When Sam got back, he found Riley curled up in one of his flannels, looking very comfortable. He handed her the bag of food as he climbed in bed next to her.
Riley happily ate her veggie burger and french fries, which she didn't ask for but Sam knew she loved them.
Once she was finished, she cuddled into Sam's side. She didn't know why, but she just wanted his attention. He ran his hand though her hair, which put the woman at ease. She eventually fell asleep again, which slightly worried Sam. He knew that she would get tired after preforming a strong spell, but she had been sleeping almost all day.
Riley turned over, trying to find a better sleeping position, which allowed Sam to quietly slip out of the room. He decided to go voice his concerns to his brother. "Hey," Sam said, leaning against the door frame of Dean's room. "Has Riley seemed off to you today?"
"Well, yeah. She was throwing up earlier." Dean shrugged. Seeing Sam's worried look, he added, "It's probably food poisoning." Sam nodded, releasing a breath of air. Even though Dean attempted to sooth Sam's woes, he was still concerned for Riley.
---
"Oh crap." Riley whispered. "This cannot be happening." She looked down at the three positive pregnancy tests. She closed her eyes, breathing in sharply. "Damnit!" She yelled, throwing the sticks at the wall.
Castiel came running into the bathroom, worried that she had hurt herself. "Riley? What's wrong?" The woman crouched down quickly picking up the pregnancy tests.
"Nothing's wrong, Cas, I'm fine." She choked on her tears.
"You're not fine, Riley. You're clearly upset. Why are you crying?" Castiel gently rested his hands on her arms. Her bottom lip wobbled as more tears streamed down her face. The angel frowned as he brought her in for a hug. "What's going on, Riley?"
She didn't answer for a few moments as she continued to sob. "I'm pregnant."
"Is that a bad thing?" Castiel asked.
"I don't know Cas!" Riley sniffed. "Sam and I never talked about it, we-we never even entertained the thought. We're Hunters, Castiel! We can't raise a baby. I mean we just locked Lucifer back up in the cage! What if someone is able to get him out again? I can't let a child be raised in this world where friggin' demons walk the earth pretending to be everyday people! I can't - I can't be a mother!"
"Riley, Riley, hey, I need you to calm down, okay. Just breath." She nodded, drying the tears from her face. "You need to talk to Sam about this, he'll want to know. Everything will be okay."
"W-what if I lose Sam? What if we want different things and we drift apart? I can't lose him, Cas. I love him so much."
"Riley, you're not going to lose him. I'm sure whatever you chose, Sam will back you up 100%, and if he doesn't, then he'll have me to deal with." Riley giggled at the thought of Castiel threatening Sam.
"Thanks, Cas. I really needed someone to talk to. I just don't have anyone to talk to about being a parent. My parents are dead, and none of us really have any clue how to raise a kid. Except for maybe Dean when he was with Ben and Lisa."
"And even then I wasn't Dad of the Year." A voice said from the doorway, causing Riley to jump. Dean. "Sorry, Riles. I didn't mean to eavesdrop."
She sighed as she looked at the man. "How much of that did you hear?"
"Most of it. Don't worry, I won't tell Sam." He assured her. "But you do need to tell him. And soon. Because if you keep it from him, it won't make things easier."
Riley nodded. "Where is he now?"
"At the store, stocking up of food." Dean informed her.
Riley was saddened to hear that Castiel had to leave, seeing as he was still searching for Kelly Kline. So that left her and Dean alone in the bunker. She voiced her concerns to the man about being a mother, and if Sam even wanted the baby.
"Riley, you are the most nurturing person I have ever met." Dean told her. "I know that if you and Sam do decide to keep the baby, you will be a great mother."
"I'm just so scared, Dean. We're Hunters, we could never give that up, and I don't want to leave this baby an orphan if something were to happen to us."
Dean gave her a small smile. "There is a friggin village here that will take care of them is something ever happens." Riley laughed, knowing it was true.
"Hey guys!" A voice said from the kitchen. "I'm back!" Riley suddenly tensed up at the sound of Sam's voice.
Dean rested a hand on her shoulder. "Everything's gonna be fine, Riles." Sam gave him a confused look as he appeared in the doorway. "If you upset her, I'll break your jaw." He said, patting his little brother on the back as he exited the room.
Sam's confusion deepened. "Riley, what's going on? Are you okay?"
"I guess that kinda depends on how you react to what I'm about to tell you." She mumbled, picking at her nails.
"You're kind of making me nervous, Riles. What is it?"
"I'm pregnant." Sam grew wide-eyed as he stared at his girlfriend. He stayed silent for a while. "Please say something." She pleaded.
Sam sat down next to Riley and grabbed her hand. "What do you want to do?" He asked. "Because whatever you decide, I will stand by your decision."
"I-I want to keep the baby." She told him.
Sam's smile grew wide as he tackled Riley in a hug. She squealed in surprise. "We're having a baby!" Sam said as he kissed her. "I'm so happy." Riley could see tears welling up in his eyes.
"Oh, Sammy." She whispered as she wiped away a tear. "I love you so much."
Sam mumbled and 'I love you,' as he buried his head in the crook of her neck. Riley felt tears on her skin.
"So you guys are keeping the baby then?" Dean asked from the doorway. He always seemed to be lurking around the bunker.
"We are." Riley confirmed.
Dean clapped his hands together, a wide smile in his face. "I'm gonna be an uncle!" He looked over to his little brother. "And you're gonna be a dad. How are you feeling, Sammy?"
"How's he feeling?" Riley asked incredulously. "I'm the one that has to carry the baby around for nine months." The men cracked a smile at that.
"Okay, I'll bite." Sam said. "How are you feeling?"
"Nauseous. Definitely nauseous."

We found each other Master List
Dean Winchester Master List
Main Master List
After learning that Y/n was pregnant and we were going to be parents. I set out to work longer hours, waking up earlier in the morning working later in the night. Packing away as much money as I could before our sweet child would arrive.
The morning sickness was still bad waking Y/n up at the ass crack of dawn and forcing her already growing body to stress even more. “You feeling any better? Now that you’ve pretty much thrown up last night’s dinner in its entirety.” I said to her, as she brushed her teeth in the early morning.
“I wouldn’t be such a dick to the women makin’ your baby.” She sassed back, as she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. She was glowing, even under the fluorescent lights in the bathroom.
“Yeah, I should know better. I’ve got to get ready for work now baby, please be easy on yourself.” I said kissing her forehead and grabbing my jacket before leaving the house. The morning dew laid on the green lush yard, and hit my boots as I walked to my car.
Long days, and long nights. I hadn’t spent too much time with Y/n. The feeling of not being able to provide for her and our child stroke the wrong chord in my chest. The cherry on top was that we weren’t married. Not that it mattered to anyone else, but in my mind, It just felt wrong like we were doing life in the incorrect order.
When I got home that night, Y/n was half asleep on the couch. Her blue diners’ outfits still on. A bowl of chips and salsa with pickles sitting on the large coffee table in front of her. “Nasty concoction of food, but whatever,” I said under my breath, untying my laces, and throwing my jacket on a hook before walking over and gently moving the hair that had fallen in front of her face away.
She hummed, “De you’re home.” She said I smiled and looked at the clock that hung above the tv. “Just in time too baby,” I said watching as the arms in the clock moved still. ‘Thank the angels that tomorrow was Saturday.’ I thought to myself as I picked Y/n up, and like always she fit perfectly in my arms.
She hummed again, as we walked up the flight of stairs. Her arms swing around my neck and her nose nuzzling into my neck, as I felt her breath out a heavy sigh of almost relief. Kicking the bedroom open, I set Y/n down on her side. Going to work on her white tennis shoes, untying them, and throwing them into a soon-to-be-growing pile of dirty mess.
As I sat at the kitchen table the next morning looking over bills, and bank statements I realized just how much money in the past two months I had packed away. Stored for the baby, to make sure that they have a good life. A much better life than I ever had a chance at getting.
Not only was that money meant for the baby, but the idea of a wedding also popped into my head. With there not being many family members left behind for either of us I thought how simply a wedding could be for the two of us. I also thought just how much I’d enjoy it if Bobby, and maybe even Castiel could come a see us two get married.
Thought to go back and forth in my brain, much like a great game of ping pong. Always bouncing off the walls. Y/n came bounding down the stairs, hearing the sounds of creaks in the stairs alerting me to her glowing presence.
Covering my eyes with her hands, “Guess who?!” She whispered in my ear. Smiling, I thought for a moment, “I don’t know. Could it possibly be my splendid girlfriend?” I asked playing along with the ever-so-far-off game she was playing this morning.
“How’d you know.” She said sarcastically taking her hands away from my gaze, and taking a sip of my now-cold morning coffee. “Should you really be having coffee?” I asked. I had started reading a few baby books in my very little spare time.
My spare time was spent reading early in the mornings while I watched Y/n sleep blissfully. Her nightmares had stopped after learning that she a pregnant. An odd thing to happen, being told you’re pregnant and of all of a sudden your own body starts to protect itself from itself.
“Like I’ve already said I’ll do what I want when I want Winchester.” As she walked over to the fridge pulling out the contents of last night’s dinner. “You know my nausea is still rather bad. I wonder if it’s even worth it to eat if all I do is throw it back up.” She said making a rather understandable revelation.
“Well according to some of the baby books I’ve taken to. It’s rather very important for you to eat seeing as the baby takes the nutrients from not only you but the food your body receives.” I said I wished I had glasses at that moment. Because like an idiot I would have slide them up the bridge of my nose and looked rather studious I think.
She giggled, and closed the fridge door, coming over to sit in my open, and empty lap. “You know I was thinking.” She started I rolled my eyes, but she continued on. “We don’t have to get married like every other normal wedding. We don’t have a lot of people to come anyways. I know you’d like for your brother to... And you know there really isn’t anyone from my family.” She stated.
Her eyes slightly shining as the waterworks began. “Dear, why don’t we talk about it another time yeah?” I said bringing my hand up to her cheeks smooth my thumb over her soft and supple skin.
“Why don’t we go for a drive? We can get some morning bagels?” I said smiling as I tried to ease her ever-running mind. She hummed “Yeah bagels sound good.” She slipped from grasp skipping up the stairs. “I just have to change.” She yelled from the top of the stairs. I learned to not fight with her when it came to her getting ready for anything.
The drive was quiet, as I hummed and tapped my fingers to the quiet music playing in the background. I let my thoughts take over. Thinking about having a small child in the back seat, and them ruining the back seat, but their cute smile and huge eyes distracting me from the clear mess in the backseat.
After ordering bagels which I mind you fifteen isn’t the normal amount two people get. But according to Y/n our little one was already craving things and right now it was bagels. Y/n reached into the brown paper bag, pulling herself out a bagel, and a bagel for me.
We ate as I drove back home. Y/n finishing up her first bagel decided that she wanted the music on, but the song that was playing was a rather sad song. One minute Y/n was singing along to the lyrics, and the next she was balling her eyes out due to the lyrics. “That’s a really sad. So.. song.” She said hiccuping. “Oh baby, Let’s just turn the radio off then.” I cooed, but she swatted my hand away from my radio. “No, I’m listening to the song De.” She angrily said pouting in the passenger seat.
Four months into Y/n pregnancy, I could start to see her ever-growing belly. Her blue and white diners outfit still fits, but only barely. Even though I insist that Y/n doesn’t work, that I’ve got us financially. She doesn’t, she says it helps with the pain in her feet, and lower back to keep moving all day. “Dean I just wouldn’t know what to do at home all day,” Y/n said as she tied her white sneakers getting ready for the morning shift.
Another Friday passes, and Y/n forces me to take a daily picture of her. Her belly according to the picture as grown immensely. Round, but small is all I get from the picture, and as much as she forces me to do it. It’s become a part of our routine.
By now Y/n’s morning sickness had almost ceased, no more five in the morning wake-up calls, and the immediate sounds of /n hurling her food away. I drive out first, and I see Y/n back-up light shine in the dark setting of the early morning.
Today’s garage work isn’t bad. We’ve got a car that needs an oil change, one that has a horrible ticking noise that I’ve spent that past week trying to figure out, and of course, the owner’s wife’s car is in. Just a routine check-up on that one.
Speaking of check-ups Y/n’s fourth check-up of her pregnancy went pretty well at the start of the week. The doctor had told us that we could know the gender of our baby in the next few weeks if we wanted.
“Do you want to know that baby’s sex?” The doc asked as she did a rather thorough check-up on Y/n. Y/n was the first to speak, “No I’d like to wait. Have it be a surprise!” She said as the doc continued to touch Y/n bare belly. Then the doc looked up, looked me in my eyes. A raise in her brows “And you?” She asked. Thinking about knowing the gender of the baby was good and all, but again I wasn’t the one holding them, or even making them that all was Y/n.
“Whatever Y/n wants,” I said kissing her forehead. A blush fell over Y/n cheeks, and when I looked out of the corner of my eye the doc was smiling. As much as I loved to say that Y/n mood swings are any better they really aren’t. She cries during every movie we watch regardless of whether or not it’s a comedy or a romantic movie. She cries hard when I make dinner, “Ba.. baby you didn’t have to.” She cooed as I set a full plate of food down in front of her. I roll my eyes sitting down next to her, taking her hand in mine.
“Yes, I did sweetheart. You need food, and well I’m the best damn cook in this here town.” I said throwing a ridiculous southern voice on it. She laughs, and her face glows once again. Her tears dry on her cheeks and her big heart shines through just like always.
“Y/n L/n, will you marry me?” I ask on one knee. We are out for a normal dinner. At the diner, Y/n works at. She staring at the ring in the box. A three-stoned ring that has a gold band. “Yes!” Y/n sassed the crowd that had surrounded us was cheering. A huge slice of apple pie was placed in front of us. “It’s on us, dear.” The older waitress said pointing to the manager standing at the cashier station. She waved and Y/n waved back. I noticed as the ring shined under the diner’s lights.
“I probably should have proposed at the coffee shop,” I said laughing. Y/n looked down at her hand noticing the same glimmer of her ring. “Don’ get too nostalgic on me now.” She sassed. Picking up her fork and taking a huge bite from the pie. “This kid is definitely yours the urge to eat the pie has been huge since we walked in here,” Y/n said.
I smiled. But something stops the thoughts of happiness quickly, and as quickly as I’ve been taken over by the odd feeling at the pit of my stomach, it’s gone. Like a leaf in the wind during fall. That odd feeling, I felt like someone was watching me. Watching me from behind the lamp post.
“So I was thinking we could just go down to the courthouse, get married there,” Y/n said after shoving another spoon full of pie into her mouth. I laughed questioning her thought, “Are you sure, don’t you want a wedding that’s wild, and bold?” I asked. She turned her head slightly at my question.
“Any day with you regardless of where we are together. Dean that’s all I really need. No huge wedding, just a few special words something like ‘I do’.” Y/n said smiling at me. The same damn smile that I have fallen in love with so many years ago. The same smile that tortured me for those days I was gone, the same damn smile that had me climbing into my car, and drive beg at her door forgiveness.
“Why don’t we go right now!.” Y/n said already pulling out a few bills, and throwing them onto the table, before sliding out of the booth. I know better now than to argue with her, especially now that she’s growing a baby. So I nod in agreement, sliding from the booth and to my feet.
We stand in front of a justice of the peace in the court of law. Of course, if we were to ever say re-do our vows I’d love for them to be done in front of friends and family. But I digress. Our witness stands off the side, the owner of the garage which was very nice of him along with his wife. He came over to me before the justice of peace walked out “Son, you two are the most lovely couple. I’ve been tellin’ my wife all about you too.’ His wife waves from the distance, and he continues. “She says that you two remind her of us when we were much younger.” He said before patting my back and leaving.
Y/n giggles as I turn. Her jeans and sweater contrast nicely with her skin tone. Wearing normal clothes while getting married. Never in my life before her did I think I’d get married have a daughter or a son, or even get a chance at a normal life. There is something that Y/n will never understand. Just how much hope and love she really has brought into my life.
Within minutes our court wedding is over. My boss had signed on as our witness, and we walk out holding hands. A precious moment lay at our feet as we walk out of the courthouse and into the fall-like day.
Month 6 was good, time had passed leaving me with very few shirts left as Y/n decided all of them were hers for the keeping. Y/n’s belly had made it rather difficult to fit in her clothes, which caused a few fits, and stray tears to fall down her cheeks. “Baby, can you just let me borrow your clothes for a while?” She stressed as she combed her finger through her thick and wild untamed hair.
I shook my head and went to look for more comfortable clothes. “Can you please take off of work now?” I asked digging in through my draw. Finding a pair of old sweats and then going to search through my side of the closet. “I’m fine Dean, I just need. GOD,’ She yelled I turned around quickly searching her face for pain, or panic. Nothing. “I’m so fucking hot, what do you have in this house. HELL?” She yelled at me. I just stared and stayed quiet for a moment.
Just as quickly as the anger had passed the tears had rolled down her face. Hiccuping and apologizing profusely. “De... De I’m sorry. I didn’t mean.” I’m quick to cut her off in her fit of tears racing over to wipe away any stray tears. “Baby It’s okay I understand. Why don’t you put my old sweats on, and my shirt that you love so much yeah?” I said handing her the soft cotton material.
She snuffles and pulls the too-tight shirt over her breasts that have gotten bigger, and much sexier over her head and throwing it into the overbearing chair filled with clothes. “Here babe let me help,” I said brushing my calloused hands over her smooth and soft skin. I hear the long release of a sigh, Y/n has seemed to calm down.
I help her into the shirt and sweats before kissing her. “Do you have to leave? Right now?” Y/n says her hands resting on my chest. She’s giving me that look. That cat and mouse game with only her eyes. “Why do you ask sweetheart?” I ask, I know this game. This is the game that has us standing here right now.
“What else have you read in those baby books of your Mister?” She asks her fingers raising on my chest right to the top of my shirt. “I’ve read a few things. What do you wanna know baby doll?” I ask, my hands resting on her hips, pulling her close. But her bump forcing us to stay apart. “I want to know.” She said winking at me “I wanna know if you still can make me see stars?”
A sass lingers in the air. I take my time kissing her lips hard. Teeth hitting each other, moans bursting through each other’s mouths. Her hands grasping for my flesh under her nails, and hands stay firm on her hips, we barely make it to the bed. I push Y/n gently onto the bed letting the back of her knees hit the bed, and it lets her fall softly.
We stay like this for a few moments, just gazing into each other eyes. I’m hovering over her body, her belly is the most obvious thing. “Take me De.” Y/n breathes out. I slip my hands into my shirt pulling mine off and throwing it onto the floor. I do the same with Y/n’s shirt letting it hit the floor.
“So... Much for the shirt being clean,” I mutter as I kiss a line from her jaw to her breasts. She arches her back leaning her body closer into my lips. Gasping for that sweet release, to chase the thrill. “Do you want me to take these off?” I ask, I’m acting cocky because I know that I have ultimate control over this whole thing.
She begs me, I slip my hands into the waistband of the sweats. I slip them down her wide hips, and down her smooth legs. Before they pool and she kicks to get them off of her body. “Look at you,” I say grazing my hand over her belly bump, and up to gently squeeze her breast. She moans cursing my name.
“I haven’t even touched you.” It’s a bold statement, but she’s already trembling and I’ve barely made contact with that supple skin between her warm thighs. Her black bra matches her panties. “Goerguoes you know baby,” I say pointing out the lace fringe on the ends of both pieces. Unclipping her bra I let her breasts go free, she moans as I lick one nipple before giving the other breast the same treatment.
Another arch of her back, and she’s trying to get more of my touch. I let my hands slide down her sides, rubbing gentle circles into her bump, passing her heat, and letting my hands graze down her legs.
I pushed my two hands between her knees, pushing her legs open. I take a glance at the bedside clock. It’s blinking four red digits.
‘8:35’
“Please, De.” She whined. I take a deep breath. Letting Y/n’s whine seep into my brain. “Let me just.” I hesitate. Falling to my knees, blowing a slow puff of air between her soft thighs. She shivers goosebumps flood onto her skin.
“Jeez, De,” Y/n says, huffing as she pulls the cover over her sweaty body. Pulling my side of the sheets over my body we sat in silence with Y/n’s head resting on my chest. I pull her closer and take a quick look at the clock. Reads ‘10:00’. “We make good time,” I said petting her matted hair.
“What do you mean?” She asks her voice sounds sleepy. “I’m just sayin’ the last time I looked at the clock it’s was early morning.” Y/n swatted my chest. A laugh emitting from my chest and causing Y/n to fall into a laughing fit.
Month 8 of pregnancy was strong, and the most definitely difficult for Y/n. For Y/n she had been going through the last stages of pregnancy. Our sweet baby had officially shifted. Causing Y/n’s hips, and feet to swell as she figured she’d probably be better if she stayed in bed.
“Will you please take FMLA?” I pleaded. Y/n looked like she was going to pop. Looked like she had swallowed a whole watermelon. “Dean can you stop asking me that!” Y/n said frustrated with my constant nagging of her safety.
A pregnant pause, before I say anything. “Y/n sweetheart,” I say walking towards her on the couch. Her feet were propped up by way too many pillows. “Y/n, I’m not meaning to be so annoying. I just worry for you, and the baby’s safety is all.” I say as I crouch and rest my hand on her bump.
I was trying to be supportive of her. Of my wife I can say that now I forget it sometimes. “I know, I’m just tired all the time. I want this to be over, but at the same, I don’t wanna lose this feeling.” Heer hands resting over my much bigger ones. I smile, but the frown on Y/ns face is hard to take away.
“Look baby I know that you’ll miss this, but remember. In just a few weeks you’ll have our kiddo in your arms” I said in a supportive tone. She nods her head, tears brimming wanting to escape her eyes. She gives off a shaky breath, before finally smiling down at me.
By the end of month 8, we’d been to the hospital at least four times. According to Y/n’s doctor, the Braxton hicks contraction was only to get worse without the last month of her pregnancy. “They will get worse, but that’s since your child has already begun to shift, and is more than ready to meet her two loving parents.” The doctor said. Our cue that the appointment is over as the doctor gets up to leave.
Two days later there’s a knock at the front door. Nobody is known to come this far out of town, and nobody really needs us for anything. I’m in the kitchen, Y/n yells “I’ll get it De!” I see her struggle to get off the side of the couch and stand to her feet.
Her bump makes seeing her feet a rather difficult challenge every day. Y/n starts to waddle to the front door, I have a bad inkling and I go for a secret stash of weapons. My gun is and has been taped to the under of the kitchen table since I moved in the second time. When Y/n and I got married I figured that I’d have a few people lookin’ to cut my new family apart now.
Another knock, “Impatient damn people “ I hear Y/n huff, before hearing the click of the lock. A silence rings through the house. A voice, so familiar says something, but I don’t catch it. Another bit of silence. “Hey, Y/n.” It’s clear, strong and so fucking familiar.
A shriek and I’m rushing from the kitchen apron and all. “De.. calm down take a breath.” Y/n tries to reason with me. “Hey, Dean.” My mouth is left gaping, as I reach for my gun behind my back that was stuffed in the waist of my jeans.
“I’m me I promise. Here look!” He pleads with me, pulling out his switchblade knife. I tug Y/n by the arm and pull her behind me. “Listen to me whatever you are it isn’t my brother,” I yell. My gun stopping at his head. The bleed surfaces to the top of his cut, and he pulls out a bottle of holy water. Taking a long swig. Nothing was happening.
“Sammy?” I asked keeping my gun at the same level. “Dean? Do you mind lowering the gun?” He asked pointing at the barrel. I stumble, locking the gun, and throwing it onto the side table. I feel Y/n hand on my shoulder gripping a little too tight for comfort.
“Y/n sweetheart, you okay?” I ask. She hums and smiles. I turn my attention to my younger brother. All those days, weeks, and months. “I really did think you were dead,” I said hugging my brother for the first time since what seemed like years ago.
“I thought you made a deal,” Sam said patting my shoulder. “Y/n are you?” He asks, I can feel Y/n’s smile. “Yes, we are, due any day now.” She got out. Sometimes like magic things happen. I feel the grip of Y/n’s hand on my bicep.
I leave my embrace with Sam. I turn a look of concern tracing my features. “I think.. De, I think my water just broke.” It sends me into a panic, I rush to turn off the stove, grabbing bags. And when I’ve made it back the front door. Sam and Y/n are gone.
I rush outside Sam has her in his arms, carrying her and waiting for me. “Damn I missed havin’ you around,” I said locking the doors, and throwing him the keys. Too many coffees later, and a slue of curses thrown at me. Y/n has given birth to our beautiful daughter. Y/n had let Sammy stay in the room his hands grasped around her opposite hand.
“Birth names I don’t remember any of them,” Y/n said, looking at our daughter wrapped in a pink blanket in her arms. “Damn it... Dang, it. I don’t have anything.” Sam raises his hand like a student in a lecture class. I nod my head, Y/n looks over at him
“What about Athena?” He suggests. A curl in my brow, as I try to catch the drift. I can see the smile on Y/n’s face though. “You mean like Athena god of war and a protector?” Sam hums and smiles.
“Whatever you want honey,” I say kissing my wife’s head and kissing our newborn’s head. “Well, Athena it is then. Thank you, Uncle Sammy.” y/n says looking back down at her. Bright eyes stare at each other, and my world is complete. My brother is back healthy at least for now, my wife is safe and sound given birth to our wonderful child, and not to forget my beautiful daughter Athen is finally with us.
I love them all more than I can wrap my tiny brain around.

There was a hunter named Rory Pond, and he was on a hunt in Chicago with his partner and friend John Winchester. John's boys Dean (5) and Sam (1) were there as well. They had finished killing the vengeful ghost when they decided to go to the bar.
"John, are you sure we should leave your boys alone at the motel?"
"They'll be fine, I already told Dean what to do."
"Well, if your sure." Rory says entering the bar with John. Right away he saw a woman with gorgeous (Y/M/H/C) hair, (Y/M/S/C) skin, (Y/M/B/T) figure, and shiny (Y/M/E/C) eyes. She smiles over at him and Rory felt his heart race. John pats his back. “You should go over there and ask if she has a friend!” John chuckles taking a swig of his beer. Rory smiles rolling his eyes before walking over the the beautiful woman.
“What’s a beautiful woman doing over here all alone?”
“My friends ditched me for some guys they met here.”
“Oh, They don’t really sound like good friends.” Rory frowns.
“Nah, it’s cool. I’m used to being ditched.” She sighs.
“If I came here with you, I will tell you that I would never leave your side.”
“Really?”
“Really.” He says.
“My name is Amelia L/N.”
“Rory Pond.” He smiles.
11 Months Later...
“Hey John, remember when we were in Chicago about 11 months ago?” Rory asks John. “Yeah, I do why?” He asks. “Seems the town is having another paranormal experience.” Rory tells him. “Alright, what are we looking at?”
“I think it may be witches preparing for a dark baptism from my research.” Rory says showing John his research. “So, let’s go stop this baptism.” John grins driving towards Chicago.
When they arrived they settled Dean and Sam in the motel. “Don’t open this door for anyone, you hear me boy?” John asks Dean.”Yes, Sir.” Dean says.”Remember to give your brother his bottle before bed.” He says.
“Yes, sir.”
John and Rory asked the mourning families questions and it all came down to a certain somebody and her friends.
“Fucking Amelia.” Rory grunts.
Later...
John and Rory killed the witches. All but one. They entered a nursery quietly. “I know your there Rory. John.” She says rocking in the chair. John and Rory walk in front of her to see her holding a baby. “Her name is Y/N Pond.” She says. “Sh-she’s mine?” Rory asks. “She is.. Now if your going to kill me at least let John take her out of this room. I may be fucked up and chose the dark side but I don’t want my child to be fucked up from seeing her mother being murdered.” Amelia says. “Yet you would allow her to see innocents being murdered?!” Rory shouts making Y/N cry. “John get the baby out of here.” Rory hisses and John picks up Y/N, and walks out of the room. Rory points the gun at Amelia.
“You said you would never leave me yet you did. But that’s okay. I’m used to it.”
Rory shoots her in the head tears in his eyes. “Maybe in another life if you weren’t a satanic witch. We could have have been happy together.” Rory whispers walking out of the room. He sees John holding Y/N and staring at him. Rory picks up Y/N. “Let’s go back, it’s almost morning and the boys will be wondering where we’re at.” Rory says lowly looking at Y/N.
5 years later...
“Dean you remember what you need to do?” John asks. “Yes, Sir.” Dean (10) says. “Y/N, you be good you hear girl?” Rory says smiling at you. “Yes, Daddy!” You say happily and they leave. Sam (6)  and you (5) began running around the motel playing. “Dean, Play with us!” You squeal as Sam tickles you. “I will later, I’m watching Looney Toons.” Dean says. “Aw, okay..” You say then went back to playing with Sam.
With John and Rory...
“You good, Rory?” John ask panting. “Yeah, I’m good man.” He pants on the ground. “That was one hell of a monster, eh?” Rory asks. “Yeah.” John replies and an old woman walks out. “Who are you?” Rory asks. “My name is Penny L/N. I’m Y/N’s Grandmother. A- Amelia’s Mother.” She sobs. John and Rory point their guns at her. “Don’t worry, I’m not here to attack you. I understand why you did what you did. A- Amelia went down a dark path. Broke the Light Witches code.” she cries. “Why are you here then?” Rory asks. “I want my granddaughter. I want to teach her the ways of the Light.” She says.
“Why the hell should we believe you?” John asks. “Y/N needs to be with girls. She has two half sisters. I took them before their dark baptisms and instead gave them their light.” she explains. “She’s my daughter.” Rory says. “I know, but being raised with a group of boys? Who will she ask her womanly questions to when she’s older?”
“I... You’re right... Come with us.” Rory says defeated. “Rory, are you really going to give your girl to her?!” John shouts. “I was never meant to be a father, John.” Rory says and John stays quiet. They take her back to the hotel. “Y/N, come here.” Rory says kneeling on the ground as you ran up to him and pulled him in to a hug. “Daddy!” you squeal happily. “Honey, you know daddy loves you right?”
Dean and Sam notice their father look away with a saddened look on his face. They look at You and Rory.
“Yeah, I love you too Daddy!”
“You are going with your Grandmother, okay?”
“Okay, will Dean and Sam come along?!”
“No, honey they won’t. Just... You...” Rory says shakily.
“Come, Y/N.” Penny smiles at you holding out her hand. You walk up and grab it. “Bye, Bye see you guys later!.” You say happily and Penny picks you up.
“Wait where are you taking her?!” Dean says shooting up from his chair rushing towards the door. John grabs him. “Rory, you can’t just let her take Y/N!” Dean shouts and Rory starts crying which makes Sam start crying.
“Dean, you are scaring your brother!” John scolds.
“No, I can’t let her take her!” Dean shouts trying to escape from his father grasp. “You don’t have a say in this boy! Now listen and stop!” John shouts.Dean stops staring at the door crying.
“I didn’t even play with her one last time. I promised I would play with her. I just watched Looney Toons...”
With Penny and You....
“Y/N L/N, meet your sisters Piper L/N and Phoebe L/N.” Penny smiles showing two girls. On had long black hair pulled in a blue pony tail and she wore a blue silky dress. That was Piper (8), and the other had Short black hair and wore a pink silky dress. That was Phoebe(7).
“My name is Y/N Pond!” You tell Penny with sass. “Don’t talk to your grandmother in that tone! You are Y/N L/N, now.” She says. “Okay..” You say looking at the ground. “Go play with Pip  rand Phoebe.” She smiles and you run off with them.
Penny looks out of the rainy window of the manor.
“I swear to you Rory. I will not let your daughter follow down the dark path.”
13 Years Later....

Title: Bonding
Pairing: Mary Winchester X Platonic!Reader, Sam & Dean Winchester X Child!Reader (18)

Word Count: 1,514 words
Warning(s): canonical violence, demon
Summary: (Early Season 12) Mary wants to bond with the person that she considers her adoptive grandchild. (Y/n) is happy to go along for a hunt.
Author's Note: Okay, personally, I loved Mary in early season 12 and I liked her after the BMOL plot was over (season 13 was successful redemption for me).
Wanna read more about my Supernatural OC? You can find that information here!!
---------------------------------
I was tiredly walking to the kitchen, hand rubbing at the scar on my shoulder. It was still new to me, so I was aware of it every time I moved.
I made it to the kitchen to see Mary pouring a cup of coffee. It was still a little jarring to see her around the bunker after seeing pictures of her for so many years. I could only imagine what Sam and Dean thought about whenever they saw here.
"Morning," she said when she saw me walk in. "Coffee?"
"Sure," I nodded. I walked to the fridge and grabbed the creamer out of the door. I thanked Mary as I grabbed the mug. "Dean always makes fun of how much creamer I use."
"You don't drink coffee for the coffee part, do you?"
"God no," I chuckled as I put away the creamer. "I want the benefits without the flavor."
Mary just nodded, "Fair enough."
We both sat down at the table in silence. I was just focusing on the cup instead of making conversation.
"So," I looked up when Mary spoke. "How long have you been hunting?"
"Oh, umm, I started properly hunting when I was about 13," I explained. "I had started training before then."
"They made you train?"
"No, Dean and Sam hated the idea at first," I chuckled. "I had to beg them to let me train. I worked with Bobby. He watched me when the boys were out hunting."
She nodded, "Well, I think I found something a few hours away. Wanna join me?"
"You don't wanna take the boys," I asked.
"It's not that I don't want to," she explained. "But it looks like a pretty basic hunt, and I think it'd be a good opportunity for us to... bond."
"Bond," I replied.
She nodded, "You're... Well... You're kind of like my grandkid, so it would be stupid of me to not try to be close with you."
I smiled, "Okay. Let me finish my coffee and I'll go grab my bag."
"Alright," she smiled back.
About an hour later, we loaded up in the car that Mary had started using pretty soon after moving into the bunker.
"How far out is the hunt," I asked as she started driving.
"Map said about two hours outside of town," she replied. "I didn't want to leave us completely stranded."
I nodded before looking out the window.
"So, how did you end up with the boys," she asked after a few minutes of silence.
"Well," I said. "My dad was a hunter that had worked with Dean and John. He had stopped hunting after my mom got pregnant. When I was about ten, there was a shifter case in my hometown. Somehow, it found out about my dad and decided to take the form of my mom to get to him. Sam and Dean saved me but couldn't get to my dad or my mom. They had promised to take care of me, so... they did."
"Did you get to meet John?"
I let out a sigh, biting back my true answer, "No, I didn't. He passed before I got the chance."
Not that I would've wanted to, I thought. I would never say that to her face. It was her dead husband, not my place to speak badly about him.
"Did... Did they ever find your mom," she asked.
"When I became aware of what happened, I tried looking," I shrugged. "I never found a case of a body being found buried alive."
"I'm so sorry."
"It was a long time ago."
"You still deserve that closure," she insisted.
"Searching for closure is a waste of time," I replied. "God doesn't really care enough to explain his choices. No point finding an explanation that doesn't exist."
She nodded.
"You grew up hunting, right," I asked.
"Yeah," she said. "How'd you know that?"
"Dean told me about it," I replied, ignoring the whole Samuel Campbell incident. "Mostly because I begged him to."
She smiled at me. I smiled back.
"I did try to retire," she explained. "When I met John, I wanted to leave all of that behind. I thought it had worked... for the most part. Obviously, God had other plans."
The rest of the drive was pretty quiet. We made a bit of small talk, but it was mostly about the case. Sounded like an average demon case. It was weird. We hadn't had a straightforward demon hunt in a while.
We spent most of the first day questioning people. It was more of a way to confirm what was happening. Reports of sulfur and blackouts. It was a demon case.
The most difficult part was tracking the damn thing down.
Its path seemed completely random.
"None of the victims even have reports of weird luck," Mary said as we stared at the news reports.
"Maybe we're looking at the wrong thing," I replied. "We're looking for money, relationships between two people that wouldn't normally end up together, the things that stick out. What if it's not the obvious?"
"What do you mean," she asked.
"Are all of the victims married," I looked through the reports.
"Yeah," she nodded.
"What if they weren't happy marriages," I suggested. "Look at how the reports talk about them. 'Lucky, childhood sweethearts, true love that only grew with marriage.'"
"They made a deal to save their marriage," she muttered. "A bit of a stretch."
"We'll only know if we can find out if they were all in marriage counseling," I pointed at her before grabbing my notebook. "I have notes about four of the five being in counseling."
"Did we get a name?"
"I don't have one," I shook my head. "But I doubt a town this small has a thriving market."
I was right.
There was only one counselor in town. She hadn't started taking clients until about a decade ago... the average time for a demon deal.
We made it to the woman's office late. We knew she would most likely still be here, but the chances of their being more patients were rare.
"Okay," Mary tucked the knife into the inner pocket of her jacket. "I'm going in alone."
"What, why," I asked.
"Distressed wife role," she shrugged. "Go around the back and see if you can find a way in."
"Are you sure about this," I asked.
"It's going to be fine," she promised. "Let's get this done."
I nodded and went to circle the building.
I managed to find an unlocked back door. I was immediately suspicious of how easy it was to get into the building.
I held onto my knife tightly as I walked in.
I had maybe gotten a few feet from the door before I was thrown backward into a wall. I groaned at the impact before opening my eyes to look at the demon that was holding me there.
"Hello," she greeted. "Winchester's kid, right?"
"Happy to meet you," I said sarcastically.
"Oh, I'm sure," she replied. "I've heard all about you and your... dads? Do you call them that?"
I ignored her.
"I do hope you know that I am not scared of you."
"If you aren't scared, then let me down. Make this a fair fight."
"But where's the fun in that," she rolled her eyes. "I'd much rather get to tell your dads that I ensured you had a slow death."
"You'd die before uttering a word," I forced a chuckle.
"Yeah, yeah," she waved my comment off before starting to close her hand.
I tried to take a breath, but it wasn't possible. I had been moving toward the verge of unconsciousness when I saw the demon's skin glow as it was stabbed.
I hit the ground hard, shoulder taking the brunt of the impact.
"Are you okay," Mary ran over and crouched in front of me. I nodded. "Are you sure?"
I pushed myself off the floor and hugged her, "I'm fine."
She slowly hugged me back, "Good, the boys would've killed me if you weren't."
I chuckled and moved back.
I stood up and helped Mary stand again, "What are we gonna do with her?"
"Umm... we'll figure it out."
We looked at each other, sharing a shrug.
--time skip--
I let out a yell when I was yanked into a hug.
Mary and I had just made it back to the bunker. We had only been gone a number of days, but I knew the boys weren't ecstatic about it.
"Are you okay," I heard Dean ask.
I nodded, "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, Dean."
Sam was standing off to the side. As Dean went to talk to his mom, I ran over to Sam. I hugged him tightly. He chuckled as he hugged me back.
"How was your first hunt back," he asked.
"Good, good," I nodded. "Same amount of chaos as I'm used to."
Sam grinned, "Good. I'm glad that you and Mary are getting to know each other."
I looked back over my shoulder at Mary and smiled, "Yeah, so am I."

Surprise
Tumblr media
Prompt: Max has known the Winchester's for years. She's had a crush on Dean for as long as she's known him, but he's always been a womanizer, to say the least. After a drunken one night stand, Max discovers she's pregnant, and Dean is overjoyed. Song Rec: None TW: Surprise/unplanned pregnancy Word Count: 3108 Pairing: Dean Winchester x OC (Max), Friend!Sam W. x OC (Max), Friend!Castiel x OC (Max)
Max's POV:
I throw myself into the back of the impala, stretching out over the seat. Dean and Sam settle into the front, both sighing.
"Well, that went well." Dean took his time starting the car and pulling out of the gravel road.
"Well? Well?! You said it was a small nest, but there were at least twenty vamps!" I snapped, sitting up and crossing my arms over the back of their seat.
"Yeah, but we handled it." He glanced back at me, shaking his head.
"Maybe, but we still lost two people." Sam sighed, looking out his window. No one knew what to say, so we rode back to the bunker in silence.
What was meant to be a normal, quick hunt went wrong pretty fast. We thought it was a nest of seven, but it was over double that, and they had two humans as hostages. We couldn't save them.
We all went to our separate rooms to shower and change once we got back to the bunker. After I had changed into a pair of black jean shorts, red flannel, and black combat boots, I headed towards the garage.
"Going somewhere, doll?" I spun around to see Dean standing in the doorway, arms crossed and a lopsided grin on his lips.
"A bar. I need a drink."
"We have beer."
"I need something stronger." He nods, grabbing a set of keys off the wall and walking towards the impala.
He pauses by the drivers door before glancing at me, tossing me the keys. I stare at him for a moment before rushing to the drivers side and sliding in. Dean has always been overprotective of his Baby, so it was rare he'd ever let me drive. I had been friends with him and Sam since before he left for Stanford over a decade ago and I could count on one hand how many times I've drove this car.
We ride in silence, listening to whatever classic rock was playing on the radio. The closest bar is only a ten minute drive, but it's packed when we arrive. We walk in and go our separate ways. He gets a drink then heads to the pool table while I sit at the bar.
I'm three drinks in when I feel heat on the back of my neck, I could tell he was watching me. There was a guy to my left flirting with me, but I paid him no mind. I slowly turned around, watching as Dean leaned over the pool table to make his shot. I smirk as he sinks four balls, winning the game. He turns to look at me and winks, his eyes shining. I laugh slightly, downing the rest of my drink. I sighed as I watched him interact with the two girls on either side of him. He had given up his playboy act years ago, but that didn't stop girls from flirting with him. And it didn't stop him from flirting back.
I felt the familiar ache in my chest at the thought of Dean with other girls. It was sad, really, how much I loved him. I had ever since we started hunting together all those years ago. It was a cliche, girl loves boy, but girl can't tell boy. I didn't want to ruin our friendship and since we're hunters, we could never have a good relationship anyway. I had almost told him over the years, once when he was going to die in Nebraska, and again when he almost killed me when he was possessed with the Mark of Cain. A part of me hoped that he already knew, but I knew that his flirty behavior was just his personality. I would always flirt back though, it has a way of numbing the ache in my chest.
After another two drinks, Dean made his way over to me, on his sixth drink. His hand rests on my lower back as he speaks to the bartender, paying off our tab.
He leans over and whispers in my ear, "I think we should get out of here." I open my mouth to respond, but freeze when I feel his hand on the back of my neck. He brushes my blonde curls over my right shoulder, pressing a gentle kiss behind my left ear.
I turn my head just enough to see his face mere inches away, his eyes dark as he stares at me. I slide off the bar stool, take his hand and rush out the door. We barely make it to the car before he's pushing me against it, his arms on either side of me. He tilts his head and starts kissing my neck, unbuttoning the top few buttons of my flannel and pulling it down enough to expose my collar bone. I lean my head to the side, giving him better access as he bites and kisses along the exposed skin.
"Dean," I gently moan out, my hands gripping his arms, "Dean, home." I can barely form words as he kisses back up my neck and along my jaw.
"Can't drive," he murmurs, pulling away and looking around the lot. We spot the yellow cab a few cars over. We rush over and slide into the back.
"Where to?" The guy asks. Dean gives him the address before settling in beside me, leaving no space between us.
He wraps an arm around my shoulders and runs a hand through my hair, staring into my eyes. I trace his jawline with my finger, my thumb resting on his bottom lip. His free hand trails up my thigh as he leans forward, lifting my leg so it was over his. His hand stops just below my hip as his lips meet mine. He bites my bottom lip gently, his hands moving up to cradle my head.
"Ahem," The driver clears his throat, "We're here. Wherever here is. Are you sure this is the right place?"
"Yeah, yeah, thanks." Dean quickly hands the driver some cash before rushing out of the cab, pulling me behind him. We stumbled down the metal stairs of the bunker and back to his room. He slams the door behind him and pushes me towards the bed, his hands gripping my hips as he spins us so that he's sitting on the edge of the bed. I kick my boots off and sit on his lap, straddling him.
"Are you sure?" I look down at him, dragging my fingers through his hair. He leans into my touch, eyes hooded as he looks at me.
"Are you?"
"Definitely."
He tears open my flannel, buttons flying across the room, "Good."
———
I wake up the next morning with a pounding headache. I reach up and cradle my head, groaning as I sit up. I look down and realize I'm completely naked, the only thing covering me is a tan sheet. I look over to my right and gasp, "Dean?"
"Shhh," He groans, burying his face in the pillow. After a second his eyes fly open, rolling over and sitting up, "Max?"
"Yeah." I hold the sheet closer to my chest, sliding off the bed and grabbing my clothes. He followed suit and we got dressed quickly.
"Uh, so..." I stand in his doorway as he holds open the door, "I think we can both agree that it would be best to forget this happened."
My heart sinks a little bit at his passive tone. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that. "Oh. Yeah, of course." I take a step back and head towards my room, biting my lip at the growing ache in my chest.
"Max!" I stop and turn back, hope sparking in my heart, "You forgot your boots." He hands them to me before closing the door. I nod to myself, blinking back the tears.
———
For the next two months, we acted like nothing happened. We went back to just being friends, which was fine by me. I convinced myself that it was just a lapse in judgement, that we were both lonely and needed someone to be with for a night. Someone that we could trust. We went back to business as usual, hunting monsters and helping people.
We had just finished hunting down a witch that was cursing people for no real reason other than to cause chaos. She put up a hell of a fight, so we all slept in the next morning.
As I made my way to the kitchen, a felt a strange feeling in my stomach. I step into the kitchen and smile at the boys, both sitting at the table eating. I look at the plate full of bacon on the table and gag, earning a strange look from Dean. I pause for a moment before turning on my heal and rushing towards the closest bathroom as last nights dinner made its way back up.
I rinse my mouth out with cold water, slowly making my way out of the bathroom. I made my way back to the kitchen where the boys were staring expectantly at me.
"You okay?" Sam asks, worry etched in his voice.
"Yeah, sorry. The smell of the bacon made me nauseous for some reason."
"Weird." Dean says, "I know you don't like bacon, but since when does it make you sick?"
"Dunno, maybe I'm coming down with something." They nod understandingly. Sam gets up and heads over to the pantry as I head out to the library so I could go back to looking at some of the books I found interest in.
I'm part way through a book on witchcraft when a plate it placed beside me. I look up at see a shy smile on Sam's face, "Figure you might be hungry. This shouldn't upset your stomach."
I look down at the buttered toast then back up at him, "Thanks Sam." He nods and walks off, leaving me to eat in peace.
The rest of the day is relatively quiet and I don't get sick again, but I didn't want to chance it, so I stuck to tea and light foods. The next morning I made my way back to the library, where the boys were sitting and talking. I pause mid-step at the end of the table, staring at the cups on the table.
"You good?" Dean asks, giving me a strange look. I nod and take a step forward, only to feel nauseous as the smell of their coffee hits me. I try to swallow the feeling down but shake my head, rushing off to the bathroom. I hear heavy footsteps behind me as I close the door, barely making it to the toilet in time.
It takes a few minutes for the nausea to pass and another few minutes to gather the energy to get up. Both boys are leaning against the wall when I open the door, wearing matching expressions of worry.
"Hey, what's going on?" Dean asks, stepping over to me and pressing the back of his hand to my forehead.
"Stop it," I push his hand away, "I don't know."
"Maybe it was the witch, maybe she cursed you?" Sam asked as we made our way back to the library. I noticed that both their cups were gone.
"Maybe. One last bitch move." I chuckle, sitting down and pulling my knees to my chest. I drop my feet back to the floor at the sudden ache in my hips and knees.
"Alright, let's see what we can find."
We spend the rest of the day looking through lore, but come up empty. I head to bed early, oddly exhausted for such a slow day. The next morning I wake up late, around noon. I made my way through the bunker, trying to find the boys. As I entered the kitchen, I smiled at the scene. Dean was watching a kettle on the stove while Sam placed a plate of pancakes on the table.
"Morning, sleepy head!" Dean smiled, "We couldn't find anything about a curse that makes a person sick at the smell of things they don't like, so we're just gonna stick to safe foods for now."
"Thanks, boys." I sit at the table and pull the plate closer to me, but hesitate when I feel the familiar burn in the back of my throat. I quickly push the plate away, standing up.
"Serious?" Sam asks gently, "Something's wrong. Pancakes are your favorite!"
"I... I don't know what this is. Dammit!" I stomp my foot, "I really want those damn pancakes."
"I'm gonna call Cass." Before I can argue, Dean is on the phone and out of the room. I look at Sam and shrug, taking the freshly made mug of tea from the counter and follow Dean out to the library.
It takes a few hours for Cass to get to the bunker, as he was out on a hunt. He made his way over to me, waving his hand gently. The chair I'm sitting in moves away from the table as he stops in front of me. His palm glows faintly as he points it at me, running it through the air from the top of my head to my feet.
"There is nothing wrong." He says, looking at me then Dean.
"Nothing wrong?! She keeps getting sick!"
"Yes. That is completely normal for her condition."
"Condition?" I ask, standing up and tapping my foot, fighting back the urge to pace.
"Normal?!" Deans voice is raised, throwing his arms up in frustration.
"Yes. Morning sickness is normal at this stage of pregnancy. It doesn't typical lead to throwing up, but that isn't abnormal either. It should stop in another two months. There are ways to help it-"
"Back the fuck up. I'm not pregnant."
"I can sense the fetuses heartbeat. I assure you, you are." I take a step back and stumble, falling into the chair behind me. I wracked my brain trying to remember the last time I had a normal period, but I came up blank.
"Damn, Max. You've been busy." Dean joked lightly, an edge to his voice.
"Do... You know who the father is?" Sam asks timidly.
I shrug, "I don't know. I haven't slept with anyone since..." My voice dies as my eyes widen, looking over at Dean.
"'Since'?" He urges me to continue, but Dean goes pale, looking at Castiel in panic.
"Are you sure she's pregnant? Like, one-hundred percent?"
"Yes, Dean." Cass looks offended at the insinuation of being wrong.
"Would you guys let her finish? What do you mean 'since', Max?"
Dean looks at me with a fierceness in his eyes, "No more hunts. You're not allowed to go out hunting anymore."
"Dean, what the hell? Shut up for one minute." Sam glares at his brother.
"Dean." I say quietly, my hands subconsciously covering my stomach.
"Yeah?"
"C'mon, aren't you supposed to be the smart one, Sam?" I laugh softly, "Sam, Dean. Since Dean." All three boys pause for a second, staring at me. Sam slowly turns to his brother, whacking the back of his head.
"What the hell, Dean?! You slept with her?!"
"We were drunk! It was-"
"A mistake? A lapse of judgement?!"
"No! I mean, yes- I mean- Fuck!" He runs a shaky hand through his hair, sitting in the chair beside me.
"I'm... Going to leave." Cass rushes off before anyone bothers to argue with him.
We sit in an awkward silence for a few minutes, this new information settling in.
Sam is the first to speak, "So... What're you going to do?"
"What do you mean?" Dean snaps.
"I'm not going to get rid of my baby, if that's what you mean."
"No, no, that's not-"
"No one was going to ask that, doll. I'd never ask you to get rid of our baby." I looked over at him, his eyes sparkling with joy. I blink a few times as tears cloud my vision, "Hey, hey, what's wrong?"
He gets out of his chair and comes over to me, picking me up with ease and sitting me in his lap. He wraps his arms around my waist as I lay my head on his shoulder, "'m sorry, my emotions are all out of whack."
"It's okay," he presses a gentle kiss to my forehead, leaning his head against mine.
"Are you guys going to start dating now? Because I've been waiting about six years for one of you to man up and ask the other out." We both look over at Sam as if he had gone crazy. Then Dean looked down at me, a soft smile on his lips. Before I can ask him what he was smiling for, he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on my lips.
"Is that what you want?" He nods, "You have an out, Dean. I won't fault you for it."
"I don't want an out. I want you. I'm crazy about you, Max. Have been for years." The smile on my face widens, "I'm all in. Literally."
I smack his chest before laughing, "Ya know, you really should've taken me out to dinner before getting me pregnant. That's how these things typically go."
"Oh, there's nothing typical about me, baby." He winks then throws his head back laughing, causing Sam and I to join in.
We settle into a comfortable silence and I lay my head back onto his shoulder, closing my eyes for a moment.
"You should move into my room, then we can turn one of the rooms down the hall into the nursery. I already have some ideas of what to do with it." Dean speaks quietly, as if he was trying not to disturb me.
"Okay, but I do want some creative control over the nursery."
"Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way."
"I already have a few names in mind." I sit up slightly, scanning his face. I had never noticed how green his eyes were before, or how many freckles he had, "For a boy... Bobby John. For a girl, Charlie Ellen."
He smiles softly, "I love those names, but what about their last name? Yours or mine?"
"Yours. Ideally, we'll all have the last name Winchester." I wink and smirk, kissing his cheek as his eyes widened. He stuttered, struggling to form a thought, "Relax, Dean, I'm not expecting it anytime soon." He sighs in relief and I laugh again.
"You are absolutely perfect." He smiles and tilts his head to kiss me once more, leaning back only once we needed to breathe, "Perfect."

“Do you want to have children one day?” Jack asks out of the blue. Dean’s head snaps toward the young boy, frowning before a dreamy sigh leaves his lips. “Dean?”
“Yeah, it would be great. If I imagine having children, it’s with Y/N. I wonder if the little bean will look like her. Imagine having little Dean or little Y/N run around the bunker.”
“We should find a room for a cradle and buy toys,” whilst Jack already plans to go on a shopping spree, you walk back into the library, wondering why Dean, Sam, Jack, and Castiel watch you with big grins on their faces.
“Something wrong? Do I have ketchup on my cheek?” you joke, sitting on a chair next to Dean, patting his thigh. “What are you troublemakers up to this morning?”
“Y/N, we talked about having children,” Dean smiles widely, grasping for your hand. “Right, you want kids too. I already—”
Your face falls and you jump up, shaking your head furiously. “I-I don’t want kids. You should know in life like ours we can’t have children. Daydreaming about something you can never have, is just stupid.”
“Sweetheart,” your boyfriend gasps. He never saw you get angry at him or Jack. Now your nostrils flare and you press your fists to your chest. “Last time we talked about having a family you were excited and now…”
“Things change, Dean. Life happens and—” you choke the words out, pressing one hand to your mouth. “I need to—fuck,” you run out of the library to reach the bathroom.
“What was that?” Sam asks, assuming you suffer from morning sickness. “WAIT! Maybe she’s already pregnant and doesn’t know how to tell you, Dean.”
“Why should Y/N freak out if she’s already pregnant Sammy?” Dean wonders aloud, frowning when you don’t come back. “Do you think I should check on here?”
“I would give her space Dean. She was really angry,” Castiel frowns, pondering why you would freak out like this.
Tumblr media
“Not again,” you throw up once again, crying when you see more blood hit the toilet. “Shit, it’s getting worse. I don’t have much time left before Dean will find out.” You sniff. “I should finally see a doctor.”
“Sweetheart, are you alright? Do you need anything?” Dean asks from outside of the bathroom. “Shall I come in?”
“No!” you tut. “I just threw up and it smells bad in here. Give me a few minutes. I’m sorry for freaking out, baby. I’ll be right back, okay.”
“Okay,” a big smile plastered on his face Dean almost runs toward the library, panting when he reaches his friends and brother. “Dude, she threw up! You were right, Sammy! She’s pregnant.”
“AWESOME,” Sam smirks, getting up to pat Dean’s shoulder.
“That’s my line, but yeah,” Dean feels his chest swell. “I got my girl pregnant. Now, let’s think about names…”
Tumblr media
Dean is fast asleep when you sneak out to meet up with an old friend. You saved Peter’s life years ago, while you were on a hunt with Jody. Around six months ago he moved to Lebanon, to work at the local hospital.
He agreed to see you tonight at the hospital, to run a few tests. Peter didn’t say much when you described your problems, but he choked out a sob when you told him about the blood and the pain in your chest and stomach.
When a doctor falls silent and chokes out a sob, it’s never a good sign. So you silently slip out of the bed to grab your clothes. Sam and Jack are already asleep and Castiel is doing whatever the angel does when he’s not around.
This way you can leave the bunker without worrying anyone.
Maybe it’s only a stomach bug or you got gall stones. Taking a deep breath you glance at Dean, smiling when he mumbles your name in his sleep.
It pains you to keep him in the dark, but you are afraid he will freak out getting to know you feel sick for weeks.
Tumblr media
“Peter, just say it,” you chew on your lower lip, looking up at your friend. “I’m close to freaking out. Please tell me what’s wrong with me.”
“We—I don’t know,” he sighs, shaking his head. “yet. We will get the results tomorrow. What I can tell you is that something is wrong with your blood. I just don’t know what’s wrong.”
“Oh—” you swallow thickly. Just like you feared it isn’t a stomach bug or something simple keeping you awake every night. “I—thank you. I will come back tomorrow then.”
“I’ll make sure to talk to my boss about the results. He’s an expert, the best when it comes to strange symptoms,” Peter says, squeezing your hand. “I owe you one for saving me all those years ago.”
“No, you don’t, but thank you again…”
Tumblr media
“Sneaking out in the middle of the night, Y/N. Really?” Dean grunts the moment you step inside the room. “I was worried sick and here you are, walking into the room as if you weren’t away for three fucking hours.”
“Dean let’s just go back to sleep,” too tired and emotionally pumped up you try to calm Dean before your argument can escalate. “I needed fresh air, okay. A lot is going on in my mind right now. I would’ve called if I knew you were awake.”
“Don’t give me that shit, Y/N. First, you almost rip my head off for wanting a baby with you, then you sneak out in the middle of the night,” he growls, jabbing his finger into your shoulder. “…and now you lie straight into my face.”
“I didn’t lie, Dean,” you don’t want to worry Dean, so you lie to him once again. “Let’s go back to sleep. I’m here now and don’t want to fight anymore.”
“Maybe I want to fight,” he argues, but you walk toward your side of the bed to sit down. “Y/N don’t turn your back toward me. Talk to me.”
“I can’t,” you hold back the tears. “Give me a few more days and I’ll pour you in. For now, let me sleep…”
Tumblr media
“How bad is it, Peter. Just say it,” you sniffle, seeing the pained expression on your friend’s face. “You are scaring me, Pete.”
“We still don’t know what’s the cause, but we know that all of your organs—” he sniffs, closing your file. “You are experiencing multiple organ-system failures, Y/N. It’s a miracle you are still alive.”
Your legs give in and Peter must catch you to help you sit on a chair. “But that’s impossible. I know you checked my kidneys and lung function, but how can all of my organs stop function at the same time?”
“I—I don’t know, Y/N. As I said, you should be dead in your condition. It’s a miracle you can even walk. Something seems to slow the process down, but I’m afraid you will not survive the next month,” now the tears run freely, and you choke out a sob. “Thank you, Peter, for being honest.”
“I wish I could do more, Y/N. You saved my life, and all my knowledge doesn’t help me to save you,” Peter sniffs, handing you your file. “Maybe, and that’s just a thought, this your sickness doesn’t have a natural cause.”
“You mean someone cursed me or something?” you wonder aloud, fiddling with your file. “I should ask a friend in that case.”
“Either way, Y/N you should come here at least twice a week. I can run more tests, give you pain meds and help you with side effects of the medication.”
“I will do so, Peter—” what else can you do but to get up and hug your friend. “Thank you for trying.”
Tumblr media
You pace back and forth, groaning when Dean won’t stop yelling once again. It’s been a week since Peter told you that there is no hope or treatment to save your life, so you decided to visit Rowena to ask her for advice.
Her words still ring in your head when Dean throws another harsh word at you. All you can think about are her words and the worried look on her face when she told you that Chuck cursed you before his end and that no one is strong enough to heal you.
Not even the Queen of Hell, not even your angelic friends. No one is going to save you, but she reserved a nice spot in hell for you, to make sure you’ll get special treatment. The good kind of treatment, of course.
“I’m tired of arguing,” you run out of the room and toward the bathroom. Opening the toilet lit just in time to throw up more blood. You cry, silently praying you will find a way to stop the curse, but you know better than to believe in fairytales.
“She throws up again,” Sam whispers, watching his brother press his ear to the door. “Maybe she’s scared of being pregnant?”
“This doesn’t explain she sneaks out of the bunker every other day,” Dean grunts, “I got the feeling she’s seeing someone else. Maybe she got mad when I talked about having a baby as that guy knocked her up.”
“You think so?” Sam furrows his brows. He never thought you would cheat on his brother. You seemed to be deeply in love with Dean. “I mean, she throws up a lot and sneaks out at the oddest times but—”
“I’m going to follow her tonight. It’s been a month since she first sneaked out and now, I got enough. She won’t talk to me or let me touch her. Y/N always tells me she’s tired or shit,” nodding Sam watches his brother storm off, wondering if you are cheating on his brother or if there is a reason for your behavior change.
Tumblr media
“Y/N, how do you feel?” Peter asks worriedly. He knows your results didn’t bring new insight for his colleagues and wonders if your friends could help you. “Anything from Rowena?”
“She can’t help me, and it gets worse every day. I can barely walk without screaming in pain. It gets harder to hide my sickness from my friends and Dean. That’s why I’m here tonight,” you wrap your arms around Peter’s neck to kiss his cheek softly. “I came to say goodbye and thank you for everything.”
“I knew it!” you shriek when Dean storms toward you and Peter. “All this time you told me you are tired or don’t feel well only to get all cozy with doctor perfect over here.” Dean pushes Peter away, growling like a feral wolf. “Hands off her!”
“Dean, let me explain,” you try when Dean twirls around to angrily stare down at you. “Peter is a friend, and he tried to—”
“Fuck a baby into you? Is it that? Did that douche knock you up and you tried to pretend it’s mine,” Dean mocks, shaking his head. “I knew you are a slut. Why would a girl fuck a guy like me the first night she met him?”
You backhand Dean, take him by surprise when you glare up at the hunter. “How can you think so low about me? I never had sex with another man since we became a thing. I would never do such a thing to you. You know what, I’ll go back to the bunker and pack my shit…”
Tumblr media
“Seriously, a doctor? That’s the guy you chose over my brother?” Sam is hot on your heels when you try to keep your emotions in control. “What did you swallow your tongue? You know, I defended you over the last weeks.”
“Leave me be,” you cry, almost tripping over your feet. You can feel your body falling apart every day more and fighting with the man you love and his brother doesn’t help you to not break down right now.
“We considered you family, I considered you family,” Sam yells when you begin packing your things. “Now you just throw Dean under the bus to get happy with a doctor. Is it the money?”
“Sam, just stop—” you can’t tell them about your condition right now. If you do, you’re not even sure they would believe you. Not after Dean freaked out at the hospital.
“How could you cheat on Dean? I can’t believe you! Sneaking out to meet up with that guy whilst my brother worried all the time,” hands-on his hips Sam watches your shoulders slump. You slowly turn around, tears in your eyes.
“You are not my family anymore, none of you,” you spit out. “I know Dean believes I cheated on him with Peter, but this is so far from the truth, Sam. But you,” gesturing wildly you weep, “break my heart believing I would do such a thing to your brother. I—I need to get out of here…”
Tumblr media
“Open the door,” you groan when Jody knocks at your motel room. You must’ve forgotten to turn off your phone and now Sam traced it to send another person to call you slut or worse. “How could you do this to Dean?” she yells the moment you open the door. “I never thought you would cheat on Dean.”
“Jody, not you too,” you sigh. You barely slept last night. Your body is slowly giving up and now there is another person you considered family storming into your motel room. “I’m not cheating on Dean with Peter. Do you remember Peter? The doctor we saved. He—”
The slap hitting your face catches you off-guard. Normally you would take a slap like a champion but in your weakened state, it causes you to stumble and fall. You struggle to get back up and just now Jody sees you must’ve lost a lot of weight.
Your body trembles and you can barely keep yourself upright when you finally get back up on your feet. “Something is wrong with you,” she whispers, grasping for your arm to help you sit on the bed. “Y/N, is that the reason you were at the hospital?”
“I’m dying okay,” you sniffle, wiping your eyes. “Peter ran all the tests and tried anything, but they can’t save me. Rowena said that Chuck cursed me before he faded away. There is nothing she can do.”
“Oh, Y/N,” Jody wraps you in a hug, lets you cry into her shoulder. “I’m so sorry. But why didn’t you tell Dean or Sam?”
“I wanted to last night. Jody, I wanted to say goodbye to Peter first and thank him but then Dean saw us and now it’s too late. My last wish was to die in Dean’s arms, and to hear him whisper ‘I love you one last time,” you choke out a sob. “I wanted him to tell me that everything is going to be alright. Dean always calmed me when I was in despair.”
“We will drive back to the bunker, and you will fill the boys in. Dean must listen to you when I’m around. Maybe, Castiel and Jack can help you,” Jody tuts when you shake your head. “No discussion, Y/N. We will go now…”
Tumblr media
“What the fuck are you doing here?” Dean glares at you walk into the bunker, Jody by your side. Whilst your boyfriend wants to throw you out, Sam looks at you, disgusted.
“Dean, I need to tell you something. Please give me five minutes,” you plead and Jody grasps for your hand to squeeze it tightly. “Please—”
“I won’t listen to more lies, Y/N,” he huffs. “Get the fuck out of here.”
“Dean, stop!” Jody says, stepping in front of you. “I’m begging you to listen to Y/N. I swear you will regret it if you don’t let her explain a few things.”
“I don’t want to listen to her,” Dean sneers, glancing at you behind Jody. “She’s my biggest mistake. I regret I ever even talked to her.”
“Biggest…mistake,” you whimper, stumbling backward. It feels like Dean just ripped your heart out and your body finally gives in to the curse. “You won’t be sad losing me then…”
“Y/N, fuck!” Jody watches you pass out, hitting the floor before she can catch you. “Shit, we need to bring her to the hospital!”
“Why? So, her lover can check on her baby?” Dean snaps at Jody, but he can feel his chest tightening when you cough blood.
“No, as she’s dying, Dean. Now stop wasting more time!”
Tumblr media
“This can’t be,” Dean watches your chest rise and fall. You don’t breathe on your own any longer. Machines keep you alive and he falls to his knees next to your hospital bed, choking on his tears.
“She came here for a few tests,” Peter says, fighting more tears. “We can’t say what is killing her, but she doesn’t have much time left. Y/N said something about Rowena and that someone called Chuck cursed her.”
“Chuck?” Sam asks, watching Jody run her hand over your hair. “Oh, god. All the things I said to her. What are we going to do now? There must be something we can do.”
“Can we agree to not blame Y/N for shit first?” Jody grumbles, glaring at Dean who grasps for your hand, holding it to his lips. “Dean…”
“I called her a whore, slut, and worse. Jody, I told her that she’s my biggest mistake not an hour ago,” he sniffles, holding onto your hand for dear life. “I can’t lose her.”
“Do you think Chuck cursed her to finally break us?” Sam asks, glancing at Jody. “Shit, I didn’t tell Jack and Castiel we are at the hospital. They are still out for ice cream. I lied about Y/N’s whereabouts too.”
“You lied to an angel?” Jody asks. “Is that even possible? I mean, why didn’t Castiel and Jack sense something is wrong with Y/N.”
“I think it has something to do with whatever Chuck did to Y/N. He wanted to make sure no one can sense her sickness, not even Castiel or Jack,” whilst his elder brother rests his head on your chest, mumbling apologies, Sam tries to stop his heart from taking over. “Let me just talk to Cas.”
Sam combs through his brain to find a way to save you.
“Rowena said she can’t help Y/N. We tried anything to find a therapy to help Y/N. It’s like her body destroys itself from the inside. All organs fight to fail first. If not for the machines, she would be dead,” Peter sniffs, looking at your file again. “We reached the end of the rope.”
“This can’t be,” Dean whispers, “Sweetheart, you gotta wake up. I’m so sorry. Please, you are the best thing ever happening to me. I can’t let you go, and I won’t. If I must go to hell again, I’ll do it for you, just wake up.”
“Dean,” Jody tries to calm her friend, but he clings to your fading body, holds tight onto you as if he can heal you with his willpower. “We will find a way. Don’t do anything stupid.”
“I called Cas and Jack. They are on their way with backup,” Sam says, praying to whoever is willing to listen that his friends know how to save you. If not, his brother will fall into a dark pit of despair.”
Tumblr media
“Let me check on her, Dean,” Castiel tries to get Dean away from you but the hunter clings to you as his life depends on feeling you against him. “Dean, please. I can’t help her if you don’t let me touch her.”
“Why didn’t you know something is wrong with Y/N? You should’ve known she’s sick and scared,” the hunter sniffs as he reluctantly gets off the bed. He kisses your temple, sighing when your skin feels too cold.
“I don’t know, Dean. If only I checked on her lately,” the angel sighs. “Jack, Hannah, and I will try to help her. I can’t promise it will work,” Castiel carefully touches your forehead, aware Dean stands right behind him, wringing his hands.
“Please, you gotta help here, Cas,” Dean sniffs, wiping his eyes. “I can’t lose her.”
“We will try our best, now let us begin,” Hannah touches your chest whilst Jack focuses on your stomach. “All at once. We need to float her body with the right amount of grace. If we use too much, she could die.”
“Let’s synchronize our powers and focus on each other,” Castiel says, nodding at Jack. “We got to do it now before it’s too late.”
Dean can only watch his friends and Hannah float your body with their graces. They mumble words in Enochian, chanting the words along with your name.
Your body seizes up and you fight against the tube in your throat, your eyes snap open and for a moment you look at Dean. And then you fall back into the darkness you saw before, body shaking in pain and agony until, the heart monitor shows one single line.
“NO! What are you doing to her?” Dean tries to stop Castiel and the others, but Sam holds him back. “Let me go, Sammy!” They are killing her.”
“Dean, let them help her. You know we’ve got no other choice. If Chuck was the one cursing her, we need all their strength,” Sam won’t let go of Dean, even if it breaks his heart to feel his brother struggle against him.
“No—they are going to—” Castiel nods at Jack and Hannah, silently tells them to hang on. “Cas, please.”
“Now, we need to float her whole being, purify her cursed body,” the angels begin to chant with passion, call the strength of their brothers and sisters until a blinding light breaks through the windows, hitting your body.
Light envelopes your body and your whole being, lifts you from the bed. It feels like you’re floating on air when you flutter your eyes open.
“It’s done, this is all we could do, Dean,” Castiel whispers, too weak to even speak.
Castiel, Jack, and Hannah fall to their knees, unable to move or to get back up.
“We don’t know if it was enough,” Hannah says when you fall back onto the bed with a loud thud, losing consciousness. “There is not enough strength in heaven for another try…”

“How is she? Do you have the results? Did it work?” Dean tries to get answers whilst Peter checks on you. “Doc, please.”
“Looks like she’s got a broken ankle thanks to the magical show the angel gave us,” Peter says, looking at your results. “We fixed it. Next time tell those guys to be more careful with the landing.”
“That’s not funny,” grasping for your hand Dean waits for you to open your eyes. “Sweetheart, please wake up. It’s me, Dean. I’m so sorry for all the things I said.”
“I’ll leave you alone now,” giving Dean a pat to his shoulder Peter smiles. “We all make mistakes when we are in love, Dean. Ask my husband, he knows once in a while the green monster makes me do stupid things.”
“Y/N, baby girl,” you slowly blink your eyes open only to watch Dean pounce on you. “God, you are awake. How do you feel? Cas, Jack, and Hannah healed you. No, wait. The fucking heaven helped, babe. Can you believe they used all their strength to save one single life?”
“Well, my ass is worth saving,” you cough, looking up at Dean. “Did you mean it? All of it? Do you want to put a baby in me and marry? Do you really want to buy a family car?”
“Shit, you heard every word?” Dean grumbles, remembering he offered to sell Baby.
“I’ll keep you up on every promise,” you smirk when he brings you into his arms to bury his face in your neck, “but we won’t sell Baby. That won’t happen, Winchester.”
“Y/N, I’m so sorry for what I said. I swear you are the best thing ever happening to me. And we can wait, baby girl,” he pecks your neck, sighing when you wrap your arms around his neck. “I’ll give you a baby whenever you are ready.”
“Oh—hey,” Peter awkwardly walks back into the room, clearing his throat to get your attention. “Sorry, to disturb you again. I checked on the results again and now, we are sure.”
“Wait, is something wrong?” your boyfriend panics, head snapping toward your friend. “Please don’t tell me I will lose her…”
“No, Dean. It’s the opposite,” Peter smiles, stepping closer to your hospital bed. “Congratulations, you are going to have a baby. I think that’s what kept Y/N alive.”
“We are going to have a baby?” you whimper, feeling lightheaded. “Fuck,” you wrap your arms around Dean, crying in his chest. “I guess the small piece of you inside of me gave me strength like you always do…”

Can’t Forgive or Forget
Word Count: 2,030
Characters: Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, John Winchester, Mary Winchester, OC Characters, Reader
Pairings: Dean Winchester x Sister!Reader
Warnings: angst, possibly small fluff? tw: trauma, nightmares
A/N: ---
Masterlist     Link to Part One
Tumblr media
You could hear loud banging on the hotel door as you whimpered softly, wrapping your arms around yourself as you backed away from the door.
It was pitch black outside, as well as inside the room. Tears were streaming down your face as you tried to control your breathing.
“Open the fucking door!” you could hear John’s voice yelling at you as you cried softly.
Your heart was racing as you put your hands on your head, curling up into a ball as you tried to keep John’s voice out of your head.
“This isn’t real, this isn't real,” you cried softly, trying to calm yourself as you scrunched your eyes tightly.
“This isn't real,” you heard the door being pushed open as you let out a small cry.
---
“(Y/N)?! (Y/N)!” you jumped up in your bed, Dean had his hands on your shoulder, shaking you.
“What?” you gasped, sitting up.
“You were crying in your sleep,” your face dropped slightly as you sniffled softly.
“Why did you let me fall asleep?” you said.
“Because you haven't slept in weeks,” he replied.
You wrapped your arms around yourself before clearing your throat, getting off the bed.
“Is Sam back yet?” you asked.
“(Y/N),” Dean started.
“I wonder what’s taking him so long,” you walked to the door, looking out the window as Dean called your name once again.
“We need to talk about this,” he crossed his arms.
“There's nothing to talk about,” you shrugged.
After John passed away all feelings and memories came to haunt you every day and every night. You tried your best to stay awake for as long as you could, and it began to affect you quickly. It was harder to focus on hunts. Your aim was definitely messed up, you even had trouble staying still.
Sam and Dean always tried to talk to you, or help you, but you couldn't bring yourself to say it. They didn't deserve the burden of knowing what was going in your head, and know about all your worries and pain. You only saw yourself as broken, only a shell of what you used to be, and it was all your fault.
Dean sat on the edge of the bed, with a mix of worry, anger on his face as he looked at you.
“I’m gonna go for a run,” you said.
“It’s 10 PM,” he replied.
You shrugged, walking towards the bathroom to go change, while you could feel the disappointment radiating off of Dean.
“Keep your phone on,” he said.
You nodded softly, closing the door behind you.
---
“(Y/N)! Open the door, come on!” you could hear Dean yelling from the other side as you held back your cries, wrapping your arms around your head.
Depending on the point of view, you were getting better, or you were getting worse. The nightmares were worse, all the fear and pain had intensified, but your dad’s actions and abuse towards you came to light.
Everything was going to be okay, or so you kept telling yourself. Then, Sam died. Dean beat you to save him, selling his soul. Fighting the yellow-eyed demon was especially hard, the three of you beaten and broken as you tried to make yourself strong.
Then your father reappeared like a ghost. You instantly tensed up, out of fear. Your bones were aching, as well as the rest of your body, before you held in your cries, reaching for the colt and putting a final end to the demon.
“(Y/N), I know it was hard, but-” he went quiet again before you heard him sigh.
“If you don't open the door in ten seconds, (Y/N/N), I’m gonna have to pick the lock. Save us both the trouble, please,” his voice was softer than before as you let out a breath, slowly walking to the door.
It’s not Dad, Dad’s dead
You opened the door for Dean, as he rushed to wrap his arms around you, while you buried your face into his arms, crying softly.
---
“You’ve been having these nightmares since Dad died?” Dean sat down in front of you, while you looked down at your hands, watching them shaking.
“N-No, they… They started after we went t-to the roadhouse… Ellen was just praising Dad for e-everything he did a-and…” you stopped speaking, trying to hold in your cries as Dean lifted your face slightly, wiping your tears.
“W-Why did he hate me so much?” you cried softly.
“I don’t know why he treated you like that, (Y/N/N), but he can’t do it again. He won’t ever hurt you again,” Dean put his arm around your shoulder, sitting next to you as he pulled you in.
“I’m sorry I keep messing up our hunts,” you whispered softly.
“Well, lucky for you, we decided we’re gonna take a small break,” you lifted your head slightly to look at Dean.
“Why?” you asked.
“Well, Sammy and I think we deserve a break. What do you think?” he asked.
You nodded softly as he kissed your forehead.
“It’s my last year, so of course I’d want to spend some time with my pain-in-the-ass younger siblings,” he teased as you smacked his arm.
“Why did you have to sell your soul?” you scoffed.
“I needed to save Sam,” he replied.
“You didn't have to kill yourself to do it,” you muttered.
“You'll understand one day,” he said.
After sitting with Dean for some time, you heard his phone go off, receiving a text from Sam.
“He wants to get drinks. Are you up for it?” he asked.
You shook your head before sitting up.
“I think I’m gonna try to sleep,” you said.
“...Okay. We’ll be back soon. Bobby’s downstairs,” he said.
You nodded, pushing yourself under the covers before Dean kissed your forehead once more, receiving a soft smile from you before he left your room.
---
“None of us should be calm, Dean! You’re wanted! I’m supposed to be dead, and Sam is on stage drinking kale smoothies!” you yelled at Dean as the four of you left the bunker, walking into town.
As the years passed, you began recovering from the trauma and scars that John left you, relying on Sam and Dean greatly. You were better now, everything was okay. You felt better than you’d felt in your entire life, and in the middle of all this craziness, you found yourself pregnant a year ago.
Sam and Dean were more than excited to become uncles and were ready to make having a kid around work for all three of you.
“Okay, calm down,” Dean said.
“Don’t tell me to fucking calm down, Dean!” you held your child, caressing her back as you paced in front of Sam and Dean.
“Look, we get it. It’s scary, but… what can we do about it?” Sam tried to calm you as you shook your head.
“Dean can break the pearl,” you walked towards Dean as he held up his arms defensively, stepping away from you.
“Okay, I know you hate this, but we can’t. Not yet. For Mom’s sake,” Dean defended.
“Dean, Mom’s in love with the idea of Dad. She doesn't know how much he changed after she died,” you corrected.
“Well, then are you gonna tell her?” Sam crossed his arms, raising his eyebrow.
“Sam shut the hell up,” you clenched your jaw.
“I don't love this either, and if Mom wasn’t here… but she is here. We’re going to pretend, just for the night,” Sam replied.
You closed your eyes tightly, shaking your head.
Sam walked next to you, before taking Nicole out of your arms.
“Sam, what are you-” you started.
“I saw some cute baby shoes that I want to get with her,” he began walking away from you and Dean as you scoffed.
“Sam, she isn't even a year old yet. She doesn't know how to walk!” you replied, annoyed.
“It’s never too early, I’ll see you guys later,” he continued walking away as you sighed, running your fingers through your hair.
“I know this is hard, okay?” you began walking away from Dean as he followed you.
“Mom deserves the truth, but we’re not gonna tell her now. Not while she’s there with Dad. You don’t think she deserves to be happy? Be with him again?” Dean asked you.
“Dean…” you whined.
“Come on, (Y/N),” you could see the look in Dean’s face.
He said Mary wants this, but you knew he did too. There was a time before Mary died where John didn't hurt you, and you were a picture-perfect family. Only Dean remembered. After everything that happened within the past few years, you wanted him to be happy, he deserved it.
You sighed, nodding your head.
“Thank you,” he let out a breath of relief.
“But that man is going nowhere near my baby,” you warned as he nodded.
The two of you continued to make your way to the shops, getting the groceries.
---
You kept to yourself for most of the night, feeling your heart racing as you bounced your leg. The night was filled with laughter and joy. Sam and Dean were happy, John was happy, Mary was happy and you were still scared, as you had been for the whole night.
You found your excuse to leave, saying it was time for Nicole to go to bed. You waved a quick goodbye, picking her up as you went to your room, letting out a sigh. You made it through the night.
You heard footsteps approaching you, while you looked up, seeing John making his way to the bedroom door,
standing there as he led against the doorframe.
“It’s difficult, seeing you all grown up like this,” he started.
You kept your back to him, cradling Nicole in your arms as you closed your eyes, taking deep breaths.
He wouldn't hurt you, not now.
“Yeah,” you said softly.
You could feel his eyes on you as you laid Nicole down in her cradle.
“You know, you haven't said much tonight,” he started.
“Sam and Dean told me everything about them, but you… you haven't talked to me. How did life treat you after I died?” he asked.
You clenched your jaw, hiding your emotions as you turned to face him.
“Terribly,” you said.
You could see the look of shock on his face as you sighed.
“I-I had nightmares, I was in pain all the time,” you shook your head.
“I didn't-” he started.
“Nightmares that you caused,” you dug your nails into your palm, seeing his face soften.
“What do you mean?” he frowned.
“Are you… Do you not remember all the bruises you gave me? A-All the wounds, all the scars? Do you not remember abusing me?” you tried to hide your anger as you took a step closer to him.
“Oh, come one. I never abused you, (Y/N),” he started.
“You won’t even admit it to yourself. Well, sorry I’ve been distant, and sorry I haven't talked to you all night, but I can't find it in my heart to forget what you did, and I most certainly can’t forgive it. I hate you, so, so much.”
“You know I never meant to hurt you-”
“I don't want to hear it. The only reason I didn't tell Mom what happened, is because Sam and Dean told me not to. They want to protect your image in her head,” you spat.
You could see a pained expression on his face.
“I’m sorry,” he replied.
You didn't reply, instead, you looked away, keeping your gaze off of him while you could feel hot tears rushing to your eyes. You watched as he walked away, closing the door behind him as you collapsed onto your bed, burying your face in your pillows as you cried softly.
All memories and all the pain came rushing back, hurting you more and more than you could ever think it would. You remembered your bruises, you remembered your scars, you remembered the feeling of hating yourself constantly, all because of him.
But now it was over, and now he was gone.

15x20
Tumblr media
Spoilers for Season 15x20 finale
Summary: This is a semi-rewrite of episode 15x20...
Pairing: Dean x reader (reader is treated more like an OC than a typical reader)
Word Count: 2,000ish
Warnings: language, major 15x20 spoilers
A/N: I wrote this for myself honestly. I know it is idealistic and was never going to happen. Again, I’m sharing simply if you’re interested but please feel free to ignore. This picks up from a very obvious point in the episode...
______
Dean POV
“Fuck,” said Dean, his hand over his chest. Something big was stabbing into his back. This felt wrong though. A dull, achy pain trickled up and down his spine and across his chest. His heart was racing up and slowing down when it wanted and Dean shut his eyes as he recognized the feeling in his bones.
He was dying. The kind of dying a doctor can’t fix.
“Jack!” shouted Sam, Dean peeling open his eyes as he realized Sam was besides him, hand covered in blood. A few seconds later Jack appeared in front of them eating a bar of nougat. “Jack fix him. Please.”
“He said he was hands off,” said Dean with a wince, his whole body shaking. Jack cocked his head and walked over, touching Dean’s forehead. The next thing he knew, Dean was sat on the ground and taking a deep breath, the pain gone as he looked up. “You said you were hands off.”
“You’re my dads. Why wouldn’t I help you?” he asked, a confused look on his face. Dean chuckled and nodded, still holding onto his chest. “You seem upset. I’ll pop you guys home.”
“Kid there’s-”
“Those boys are okay,” said Jack, snapping his fingers. Dean was suddenly sat on the steps up into the library, Jack mentioning something about taking some nougat from the pantry before he headed out.
“You alright?” asked Sam. Dean shook his head and he took a seat. Dean rubbed the heel of his palm against his chest and shuddered. “Jack got there in time.”
“If he hadn’t-”
“Dean-”
“If he hadn’t...because it was bad, Sammy. If he hadn’t...I’m so proud of you and I love you, so fucking much. I couldn’t have asked for a better baby brother, a better best friend. You just gotta tell me something. When the time comes, you’ll be okay without me. Tell me Sam. Please.”
“I’ll be okay,” said Sam quietly. Dean nodded and moved his hand to his lap, Sam scooting closer. “Let’s get out of here.”
“What?”
“Let’s get a house. We can get a big yard for Miracle. Run an operation like Bobby did, do the occasional case. Let’s go live more,” said Sam. Dean paused but rubbed his chest again and smiled.
“Dibs on the master bedroom,” said Dean. Sam chuckled and nodded. “Yeah. This place is home but I wouldn’t mind an upgrade.”
Two Months Later
“Miracle!” called Dean when he ignored the ball Dean had just thrown across the yard and ran around the corner of the house. “Miracle!”
“I think your daddy’s looking for you,” Dean heard a voice giggle. He walked around the house and saw a woman knelt down and ruffling the dog. “You’re so cute. You’re so cute.”
“Yes, I am,” smirked Dean as the woman popped her head up. “So, how can I help you and why are you parked in my driveway?”
“I’m Y/N. Y/N-”
“I heard of you. Hunter out of Alaska right?” he asked as she nodded. “You work a lot of Canada cases.”
“I did,” she said with a shrug. “I was thinking of retiring down south. Wondering if you got any tips on how to adjust.”
“A dog helps,” he said and she smiled, Dean looking her up and down. “You do realize this is Austin, Texas right?”
“This is south to me,” she said. “I know Donna through a friend of a friend. She said it’d be cool if I came and talked to you?”
“Uh, yeah, sure,” said Dean, Miracle running over to the ball and rushing back with it. He nudged Dean’s hand and Y/N smiled. “You mind chatting while we do some fetch?”
“Not at all, Winchester.”
“Kinda funny how Eileen and Y/N know each other,” said Sam, Dean looking out the back window to where the girls and Miracle were sat on the back deck after dinner drinking a beer. Dean hummed and dried a plate, Sam nudging his arm. “You like her, don’t you.”
“You like her.”
“Dean.”
“Yeah, I like her. What’s the big deal?”
“Oh, I don’t know. A gorgeous, former hunter with your kind of humor, love for pie, muscle cars and classic rock that’s single just happens to have stuck around long after she got done talking to you.”
“I invited her to dinner.”
“She understands the life Dean. All the shit we carry. You’ve never tried with a hunter. Give her a chance.”
“Tried what?” said Dean, putting the plate in the cupboard.
“You can have a relationship Dean. I’m pretty sure she likes you too,” said Sam.
“Hello, Dean,” said Castiel, both guys jumping as they spun around. They stared at the angel as Cas looked around. “I enjoy your home. The air is fragrant.”
“It’s a candle,” said Sam, pointing to the flickering light on the countertop. He blew it out and Dean walked around the island, shaking his head.
“Where the fuck have you been?” said Dean, giving Cas a hug. Sam joined them and Castiel shrugged.
“Rebuilding heaven is labor intensive process,” said Cas before turning to Dean. “I felt you would be coming there soon a few months ago.”
“Why didn’t you pop down when you knew he was dying?” asked Sam.
“You are humans,” said Cas with a pout. “You will die someday. It’s an inevitable fact. Time is very strange in heaven in its relation to earth. I assumed you were an old man.”
“No, not old,” said Dean.
“Would you two like for me to prevent your deaths until a certain age?” asked Cas.
“No,” they both said, Dean smiling.
“But if we ask for help, you will help?” asked Dean.
“Always,” said Castiel. He tilted his head and looked out the back window. “Who is the woman with Eileen?”
“Y/N. Hunter from the Yukon area. Dean has a crush,” said Sam. He smirked when Dean whacked his arm, Cas still cocking his head. “You know her?”
“She’s quite drawn to Dean. Metaphysically speaking.”
“Yes cause whatever you just said was very clear. Like I’m five Cas,” said Dean. Cas sighed and pursed his lips.
“Jack has given me some extra power to help assist him better. I can see more of a person now,” said Cas. “Their energy, soul, things of that nature.”
“Okay...so what does that mean?” asked Dean.
“Oh your souls are quite intertwined. She’s your soulmate,” said Cas.
“Really?” said Dean, allowing a brief smile to cross his face.
“She also has a growing inoperable mass in her head that will kill her in the next few years. She suffers from headaches quite frequently,” said Cas. Dean sat down at the counter and stared out the back door, squeezing his eyes shut.
“Why can’t I be happy?” he breathed out. “For a fucking minute I can’t even be happy before the rug gets pulled out.”
“...Did you not want me to heal her?” asked Cas. Dean rolled his eyes and Cas’ glowed blue for a moment. “She’s fine now. You seem...emotional.”
“Well I am Cas,” said Dean.
“You’ve been off since that hunt and the barn,” said Sam.
“Sam I shouldn’t be alive,” said Dean. “I got lucky.”
“You have sacrificed your entire life for others, Dean,” said Cas, Sam taking a seat next to Dean. “You should take advantage of your powerful friends. Let others care for you now. I will speak to Jack about the remaining monsters and their relocation to somewhere better suited for them, perhaps a new world.”
“Everything alright?” asked Y/N, slipping in through the back door with an empty beer bottle.
“Yeah, we’re all good,” said Sam.
“Liar,” she said, smiling at Dean. “I’ll be right back.”
She excused herself to the bathroom, Sam and Cas going outside. Dean got another set of beers out just in time for Y/N to return.
“Can I ask you a question?” she said.
“Shoot,” said Dean, handing her the drink.
“Your friend, the angel, did he just heal me? I’ve had constant headaches for awhile now. Brain tumor. I feel different. You guys wouldn’t happen to have anything to do with that would you?”
“You deserve to enjoy your retirement,” he said. “A very long retirement. You’re fine now.”
“I won’t be mad about that,” she said, leaning against the counter by him. She took a long sip and smiled. “I like you, Dean.”
“I like you,” he said.
“I’m gonna stick around town for a bit, see if things work out,” she said. He nodded and smiled, watching her smirk. “So there’s really no more monsters?”
“Uh, what?”
“I overheard Castiel when I walked in. Guess we’re really out of jobs now,” you said.
“I got an offer for a construction manager,” he said.
“You gonna take it?” she asked.
“I think so. What do you think?” he asked.
“I think it’s a great idea,” she said. “Gotta keep busy somehow.”
“What’s your retirement look like?” he asked. She shrugged and smiled. “Now that death isn’t imminent.”
“Maybe I’ll find a guy, try the domestic thing,” she said, a soft smile staying on her lips. “Know anyone who might be interested?”
“I’m sure I can think of someone, sweetheart.”
One Year Later
“So what do you think?” asked Sam as he spun around in his suit in the family room.
“What do we think junior?” asked Dean, the baby on his lap clapping his hands. “He says dad’s gonna score tonight.”
“I fear for you teaching my son things when he’s a teenager,” chuckled Sam.
“That’s what Uncles are for,” said Dean as Y/N got up from the couch and started fixing Sam’s tie.
“And what Aunt’s are for to rein them in,” she said, smoothing it out.
“Thank you,” said Sam. “Hey, when you two gonna have a kid?”
“Who says we aren’t?” smirked Dean. Sam went wide eyed and she rolled hers.
“We’re trying just recently. You will literally be the first to know once we do,” she said. She winked and Sam narrowed his eyes, looking back and forth between them then down to her stomach.
“You’re so pregnant.”
“Ugh, we were gonna surprise you guys. Let us surprise, Eileen at least,” she said.
“You guys are pregnant!” said Eileen from over the balcony upstairs. Y/N laughed and headed up, Sam taking a seat next to Dean and plucking his son into his arms.
“You’re gonna be a real good dad. You got a lot of practice,” said Sam. Dean shrugged and Sam gave him a side hug. “I’m really happy he gets to know his Uncle, Dean. You’re gonna do great.”
“I’m really happy I get to be here too,” said Dean. He sat back and shut his eyes. “I owe you one.”
“For what?”
“The barn. I thought Jack wouldn’t come. I didn’t even bother. I thought that was gonna be it,” said Dean. “I didn’t want to go yet.”
“You don’t owe me for that,” said Sam, handing the baby back when he heard feet on the stairs. “Be good for Uncle Dean, baby boy.”
“Go have fun on your date, Sammy,” said Dean.
“You have fun on your stay at home date,” chuckled Sam. “See ya later, De.”
“Later, Sammy.”

You sat licking your lips and looking down at your phone. Today had been a day from hell. Scariest day of your life since the day your ex husband had shown up at your door and beat the shit out of you. And this time, there was no Dean to make it stop. You’d been home for a bit now, unable to relax, unable to stop your mind from coming up with the worst possible scenarios.
Alex had left school when he spotted Ash outside doing a walk of the perimeter, stood up mid lecture, grabbed his books, his bag and walked out. He knew if a patched member was at the school, it meant trouble. He’d burst into the house almost in a panic, making sure you and Abby were okay, telling you Ash had given him a quick rundown.
Now he was with his sister in the kitchen, keeping her occupied while Sam started on an early supper to distract everyone.
Looking down at your phone, you sighed and scrolled through your contacts before selecting one and hitting call.
“Sullivan and Rothman, how can I help you?”
“I’m calling for Tyson Brady.”
“Name?”
“Y/N Winchester.”
“Hold please.”
It took a few minutes, but then the elevator style hold music shut off and you could almost hear the smile in Brady’s voice when he picked up with a “And what can I do for the biker princess?”
“Hopefully help.”
“What’s wrong?” his tone had changed completely and you could almost picture his lawyerly frown.
You licked your lips before filling him in. “Remember when Dean was arrested?”
“Yeah, Bakers bullshit stunt to buy time, what about it?”
“Baker told some guy who I was, that I was Dean’s wife. He was a guy from a rival MC or gang or something, I don’t know… but-”
“But?”
“He’s following me.”
“You’re sure?” You nodded even though he couldn’t see you, and it was almost like he just knew before he asked “How?”
“Someone sent Dean pictures of me and Sam in the front yard yesterday. He said the only thing other than the pictures was a PObox. There was no name, no nothing-”
“So you don’t know it was him.”
“Not for sure, no..”
“You got the PO number?”
“Uh, no. Dean didn’t tell me.”
“I’ll call him for that..” you heard rummaging and then quiet. “That can’t be it, though..”
“No.. today, I saw him.”
“The guy? Where?”
“Grocery store. He was following me, watching me.” you swallowed, looking down again as tears filled your eyes once more. “I’m scared, Brady.. It was just me and Abby, and he was there, he- he just stood there and watched us.”
“When?”
“About an hour ago? I called Sam crying, he ran to the store and the guy was just gone. What if it’s him who sent the pictures to Dean? It means he knows where I live. Dean’s flipping out, I’m scared he’s going to do something stupid in there and I’m scared this asshole is going to get me out here, and- I- I didn’t know who else to call but you..”
“Hey, relax, okay? Look, you did good calling me. I’m going to officially represent you, okay? I’m not just Alex’s lawyer anymore, I’m yours now. Look, I’m gonna grab the next flight in, okay? Might be a few days, but I’ll come down, I’ll meet up with Dean's lawyer and see what we can find out about these pictures, and I’ll file another report against Baker.”
“I’m so fucking scared…”
“I know. I know. You’re not alone, are you?”
“No. Dean made Sam move in a few days ago.” You glanced up as Brutus padded into the room. Patting your thigh, he came over and rested his head on it, head tilting to encourage you to scratch behind his ear. You were happy to obliged.
“Okay. That’s good. How’s Alex?”
“Freaked out too. I sent some MC guys to make sure he was safe at school, it freaked him out and he rushed home.”
“Look, I’m about to check for a flight. I see you when I get to town. I’m also going to reach out to Dean’s lawyer. If I find out anything before I see you, I’ll call.”
“Thanks, Brady. I don’t know where we’d be without you.”
“Don’t thank me yet. See you soon.”
As you hung up, you ran your thumb along the side of your phone. You wished Dean would call again, just so you knew he was okay, that he hadn’t done something stupid. “Please..” you whispered while staring at your screen. “Please please please..”
“You okay?” You looked up at Sam standing in the doorway, and he sighed. “Of course you're not. Did you call Dean’s lawyer?”
You shook your head. “Brady. He’s uh- he’s gonna come down. Get up Bakers ass again, talk to Dean’s lawyer for me..” you bit your bottom lip and started to chew on it. “Thank you.”
“For?”
“Being here. That day. Today. Brady. Take your pick.”
“You’re family.” he gave you a soft smile. “Go on up and take a warm shower. Dinner won't be ready for about an hour, so you’ve got time. I know it’s hard for you to relax, but-”
“I’m pregnant, so I need to try. I know.” Sighing, you dropped your phone onto the coffee table before making your way to the stairs, Brutus following behind you at first but he stopped to sit next to his master. “Sam?”
“Hm?”
“Thank you.” without another word from either of you, you made your way up the stairs and into your bedroom. Once the door shut behind you, you leaned on it and looked around. Pictures on the dressers, his clothes, his things, this was the hardest that it had hit you that Dean wasn’t here, he couldn’t protect you. Letting yourself slide to the floor, you gave yourself a few minutes to cry.
Tumblr media
You were running, running, always running. Running from something, something you could feel more than see. A feeling, one of dread. Terror. The kind of terror that left a pit in your stomach and made you want to throw up, but you couldn’t, you had to keep running. Running through the streets, running through trees, through houses, the scenery always changed but you weren’t getting anywhere, you weren’t getting any farther away from it. You were running with something hot on your tail and no end in sight.
Tears streamed down your face, sweat clung to your skin as you pushed yourself harder, faster, frantically looking as you ran, looking for your safe place. Looking for Dean.
You skidded to a halt in the endless aisles of a supermarket when you came face to face with a man you’d only ever seen. He was massive, giant, built like a tank that could never be taken down. He took up the whole aisle, you couldn’t see anything, not even light beyond him. He was darkness and dread that swallowed it all up, and he had his eyes set on you.
You turned and ran, back down the way you’d come. A glance behind you showed you that he was following. Not running, but keeping up all the same.
And then you slammed into something. A hard body that sent a chill of terror down your spine.
You were shaking as you looked up at him, a face you’d hadn’t seen in years, not even in your worst nightmares. “No..” you shook your head frantically trying to get some distance from him. “No.. no.”
“Where’s my son?”
“Please…” you begged, stumbling as you stepped back and fell to the ground. You tried to scurry away only to bump your back against legs. Dread and terror now towered over you. The man who tried to kill you once, and the man who wanted to do it now. “Please.. This isn’t real.” you  sobbed, backing against a shelf and curling up as small as you could. “You’re not real. You’re not real. You’re not real..” the words on repeat as all light was blocked out and your world got dark. It suddenly felt like you were falling.
Despair.
There was no help, no one was coming to save you this time. They had you trapped and cornered and it would hurt even more than the last time, you knew that. You were surrounded by darkness and pain that wouldn’t relent and no one was coming to save you this time.
This was it.
He’d finally kill you.
“Please..” you sobbed before letting out a pained cry.
You hear a crash and barking, then feel someone grabbing at you. It puts you in a panic, you start screaming, louder and louder, pushing, fighting as you get pulled up to sit.
“Hey! Hey, relax, it’s me, it’s Sam.” You keep fighting, eyes now open and darting around in fear. It’s your room, you’re in your room but is it real this time? Is this really Sam holding your shoulders. “Hey. It was just a bad dream, I’m here, I’ve got you.”
You looked at him, searching his face for truth. “Are you-”
“I’m real, I’m here.” A large hand cupped your cheek, his attempt at grounding you again, proving to you that he’s in fact right there to save you from whatever had put so much fear in you. Your hand went to his chest. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, and feeling the warmth of his skin under your fingers proved to you he was real. He was real. He was here, and he had saved you. You didn’t say a word, the tears started pouring out again and you let him wrap his arms around you. You sobbed against his shoulder. “It was just a bad dream.” he soothed, hand smoothing down your hair and down your back before coming up and repeating the movement. “It was just a bad dream. I’ve got you.”
Hearing the creak of the floor boards, your eyes opened again to see Alex in the doorway, his eyes full of worry. “Mom?”
Sam lets you go, even though you’re still shaking, even though the tears haven’t stopped yet, he lets you go. “Alex.” you breath on a sob, and he’s rushing in to you, all but throwing himself against you as you wrap your arms around your son, clinging to the back of his shirt as you cry.
“You scared me, mom. I heard you screaming and I-” You duck your head, burying it against his shoulder. “I haven’t heard you scream like that in so long. Not since dad.”
“He was there.” you whisper against him. “He was there, him and that guy.. They- they had me trapped and no one would help me.” you were shaking with sobs again. “I couldn’t get away. I couldn’t get away.”
Alex started to rock you, side to side like you had done to him when he was small. “Yeah.” Alex nodded. “I remember those dreams.” Alex sighs now before whispering. “I have them too.”
It's a few minutes of quiet between you, Alex gently rocking you while Sam quietly watched, his brow still furrowed with a worried frown. “I know you’re probably too old, but-”
“I’ll stay, mom.” He pulls away now, still holding you, but now he’s looking in your eyes. “If you need me, I’ll stay. Just like Dean always did for me.”
You sniffle, hand now cupping his cheek as you smile at him and nod. You’re so proud of him, proud of this brave and strong man he’s growing up to be. “I love you.”
“I love you too, mom.” he smiled. “Let’s try and get back to sleep, okay?”  You nodded, both of you letting each other go as you laid back, letting yourself get comfortable again, as Alex got in next to you.
“How about I get Abby.” Sam says quietly from where you find him standing by the door. “You need your family right now.”
“Thanks, Sam.”
He gives you a smile before he walks out. A moment later, you hear him coming back up the hall with a sleeping Abby in his arms. You pull the blanket down, and Sam lays her between you and Alex so she’s nestled right in the middle. Pulling the blanket up, Abby just shifts and rolls so she’s facing Alex, making him smile at her before he closes his eyes.
When Sam pulls away from the bed, you look over at him. You don’t realize you’re afraid he’ll leave until he speaks in a soothing tone and promises “I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying right here, I promise.” You watch him as he walks around to the foot of the bed and gets comfortable in Dean’s armchair by the closet. “Get some sleep.” he says as he tries getting comfortable.
Once you’re sure he means it, that he isn’t leaving, you wrap your arms around Abby and duck your head so your nose is in her hair and breath in the scent of her watermelon shampoo.
You’re not alone.
You’re not alone.
You’re not alone.
He can’t get you.
He’s not real and you’re not alone.
Finally, you close your eyes again and pray for better dreams as you feel the weight of Brutus jumping onto your bed and curling up on top of your feet.

Feeling the Loss (Dean Winchester x OFC)
Warnings: Major angst, death, pregnancy, fluff if you squint.
Tumblr media
Kaiden Ryker was ignoring Dean Winchester. And for the life of him he couldn't figure out why. Well, he had some kind of inkling.
Kaiden and Dean had hooked up a few weeks prior, and now everything was extremely awkward.
It wasn't anything serious, the two had been on a hunt together while Sam stayed behind. After a rough night of killing vampires, the two decided to let off some steam. Kaiden, however, didn't want to talk about what happened that night. The whose situation confused Sam, as no one told him what happened.
"Kaiden!" Sam called after as she entered her room in the bunker. "What's going on with you and Dean?"
"Nothing, Sammy." She sighed as she packed her duffel bag.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"Down to visit my parents. My dad's really sick, and I need to be there." She explained, grabbing the few pictures she had and packing them up.
"Do you want us to come with you?" Sam offered.
"No. No, you and Dean need to be here, figuring out this whole Abaddon business. I need to be with my parents." She gave him a sad smile. "If I'm gone more than a couple days, I'll call you."
Sam brought Kaiden in for a hug, kissing the top of her head. "Be careful, Kay. Call if you need anything."
"I will. Goodbye, Sammy." Sam didn't know why, but he felt like he wouldn't see Kaiden again for a while.
Kaiden threw her duffel bag under the seat of her motorcycle, revving the engine as she headed towards Oklahoma. She felt bad for not saying goodbye to Dean, but she just couldn't look at him, let alone say goodbye.
It was a good five hour ride from Kansas to Oklahoma, but she finally made it. She unlocked her parents door, hearing voices from the living room.
"Kaiden!" Her father, Frank Ryker, exclaimed from his bed. The doctors thought it would be best to send him home so he could be comfortable before passing.
"Hey, Daddy." She smiled, grabbing his hand. "How're you feeling?"
"I've seen better days, sweetheart."
"Where's Mom?" Kaiden asked, looking around.
"Off getting stuff for dinner."
Kaiden paled slightly. "Mom's not cooking, is she?" She grimaced when her father nodded. "I might have to take over, then."
"Please? I love Beth, but my God, she's a terrible cook. She's been torturing me for months." Kaiden laughed at her father's dramatics.
Every time she looked at him, her heart broke. He was pale and thin, obviously then chemo treatments had taken a toll on him, and they didn't even work. "So, how's everything going with those Winchester boys? Are they behaving themselves?"
Kaiden's parents had formerly been hunters before they retired in their late 50's. Kaiden had known the Winchester's since she was a kid, which is why she decided to start hunting with them after her parents quit.
"Yeah, Dad. Everything's good."
Frank narrowed his eyes at her. "Don't lie to me, Kaiden. You're an open book, I can see it on your face."
Kaiden sighed. Her father knew her too well. "Things are a little complicated with me and Dean right now." She admitted.
"Dean? I always thought you and Sam would get together." Kaiden recoiled at the idea. She loved Sam, but only as a brother. "Well, do you want to talk about it?"
"Nah," She shook it off. "Let's just watch some football. It's been a while since we did this." It was another hour before her mother finally got home with the groceries. She was surprised to see her daughter home, but happy nonetheless.
Kaiden decided to cook chicken pot pies for dinner, one of her dad's favorite meals. They all sat in the living room, watching the Kansas City Chiefs get their asses beat. Kaiden felt happy for the first time in a while. She was glad to be home with her parents again.
Like Kaiden promised, she called Sam the next day to tell him everything was fine. He told her that Dean was pissed because she didn't tell him she was leaving. She felt slightly guilty, so she decided to text him.
Hey, sorry I didn't say goodbye. I just really needed to get to my dad. He's not looking so good.
It was ten minutes before Dean replied. You had time to talk to Sam before you left. So why not me?
I'm sorry, Dean. Things haven't exactly been easy between us lately. Kaiden started becoming distressed, so she set her phone in the draw and went to make lunch for her parents.
When Kaiden looked at her phone an hour later, she read the last message Dean sent her. If things 'haven't exactly been easy between us lately,' then why come back? If you're so eager to get away, then stay away.
Her heart broke reading that message. Sure, things had been rough with Dean lately, but at the end of the day, she would always come back. If Dean wanted her gone, she'd stay gone.
She quickly dialed Sam's number. "Uh, hey, Sammy." She sniffed. "I'm going to be gone for longer than I thought. I was hoping you could grab a couple of things for me and we could meet half way so I can pick them up?"
"Kaiden, what's going on? Is everything okay?" Sam worried.
"Uh, no, not really. My dad's worse than I thought, so I'm not coming back for a while. I'm so sorry."
"Don't apologise, Kay. Take all the time you need. I understand. Just text me a list of what you need and I'll bring them to you." Sam told her.
"Thank you, Sammy." She breathed.
———
Sam glared at his brother, knowing that he said something to cause Kaiden distress. "What did you say to her?" Dean raised an eyebrow at his little brother. "Don't play dumb with me, Dean. What did you say to make Kaiden so upset?!"
The man never looked up from cleaning his gun. "I told her that if she wanted to leave then don't come back."
Sam's eyes widened in horror. "You complete fucking dick!" He yelled. "He dad's dying from cancer and you decided to fucking kick her out?! Over what? Because things have been awkward with you two for a couple of weeks! And don't think I didn't notice. So, let me guess. You and Kaiden slept together? Am I right?" Dean's silence was the answer Sam needed.
"Of fucking course! You're so butt hurt over the fact that Kaiden hasn't talked to you since that you've kicked her out!" Sam's voice was getting louder by the minute. "You should have heard her when she called me. She was a sobbing mess, she could barely string a sentence together. I hope you're happy, Dean."
———
Kaiden put a hand over her mouth as she looked at the positive pregnancy tests. "Fuck." She whispered.
"What does it say, sweetheart?" Her father asked weakly from the living room.
"It's positive." She sniffed.
"Oh, my girl." Frank squeezed her hand tightly. "I know you're scared, but it'll be alright."
Tears streamed down Kaiden's face. "No, Dad, it won't. Dean doesn't wanna see me anymore. He basically kicked me out!"
"And he's a fool." He croaked. "Sooner or later, he will come crawling back to you. But, until then, I got you this." Frank dug around his bedside table and found a small stuffed frog. "For the little one. You used to love this frog when you were a baby, and I'm sure yours will too."
Kaiden held the stuffed animal close to her chest, smiling at her father.
Later that week, he passed away, leaving a huge whole in Kaiden's heart. All she wanted to do was called Dean and be comforted by his voice. But she couldn't. So she called Sam instead.
"Sam!" She wailed. "Sam! He's gone! He's dead!"
Sam's breath hitched in his throat, causing Dean to look at him. "Oh, Kay. I'm so sorry." He whispered. "I know how much he meant to you." Sam listened in pain as Kaiden cried on the other end of the phone. "I'm coming over now." He told her, gathering up his things.
"No, Sam. It's okay, you don't have to." Kaiden sniffed.
"No, Kaiden. I'm coming, whether you like it or not. I'll be there soon." He hung up the phone.
"What's going on?" Dean asked, clearly worried.
"What do you care?" Sam snapped. "You don't want to be around Kaiden, remember?"
"She sounded like she was in pain, I was just –"
"Her dad died." Sam growled. "And she needs comfort and support. Something you can't provide for her. You're staying here, by the way. See what you can find out about the Mark of Cain and Abaddon or whatever. I'm going to comfort my sister."
———
Kaiden surged forward to hug Sam. She had missed the smell of his cologne and the warmth of his hugs. He ran a hand over her head, trying to soothe her sobs. He knew what she was going through. Sam wasn't as close with his dad as Kaiden was with hers, but he understood.
Kaiden's mother sat in the living room, staring at the spot where Frank Ryker used to sleep. "Oh, hello, Sam." She gave him a sad smile. "It's good to see you. Is your brother with you?"
"No - uh, he had a case to work back home." He lied. Sam made his way to the kitchen, whipping up a meal for the Ryker women to eat. When Sam returned to the living room, he noticed that Beth had gone to her room, and Kaiden was clutching a stuffed frog.
"Hey," He said gently, setting the plate of food in front of her. "How're you holding up?"
"Terribly." Kaiden mumbled. "How's everything going with Abaddon and Metatron and whatever other villain we have to deal with?"
Sam chuckled. "Don't worry about it. We've got everything under control." That was an absolute lie, but Kaiden didn't need to know that. "What's that?" He asked, motioning to the frog.
"It's a stuffed animal my dad got me when I was a baby. He said he found it a few months ago cleaning out the attic. I remember I used to love playing with this thing, it was my comfort toy. I guess it's still trying to work it's magic, huh?" She gave Sam a weak smile. The man pulled Kaiden into his side, resting his head on top of hers.
The two hunters had always had a good relationship, even when they were teenagers. Whenever John and Kaiden's parents teamed up for a hunt, Sam and Kaiden did most of the research to help them out. For a long time, everyone thought they were dating, but they insisted they only saw each other as siblings. Which was true, whenever Kaiden needed a brotherly figure to confide in, she would always go to Sam.
"I'm so sorry, Kay. You're dad was a good man."
"Yeah, he was."
Sam stuck around for a week so he could attend Frank's funeral, then begrudgingly went back to the bunker. He would have stayed longer, but Kaiden forced him to go home. She was scared that Sam would figure out that she was pregnant. She knew it was wrong to keep the secret from Dean, but what was she supposed to say after all the nasty things he texted her. Little did she know, all he could do was stare at his phone, hoping to see her name pop up.
———
Kaiden was now three months into her pregnancy, and she still hadn't told Sam or Dean about it. When Sam called to check up on her, she just told him that she still needed time to heal and make sure her mother was going to be okay. Sam tried to come visit her again, but she said that she just didn't want any company. After a while, Sam stopped communicating with her and Kaiden started to get worried.
She texted Sam almost everyday, trying to make sure that he and Dean was okay. In the sixth month into her pregnancy, she finally got a call from Sam.
"Sammy!" She exclaimed. "I've been worried sick! What's going on with Abaddon and Metatron?"
"Kaiden." Sam said seriously, making Kaiden stop in her tracks. "Dean's dead." The woman gasped, tears streaming down her face. "I know, I hate to tell you this. Especially with how you're still grieving over you dad, but I just thought you had a right to know."
"T-thank you for t-telling me, Sam. I'm so sorry. Did you g-guys kill A-abaddon?"
"Yeah, yeah, we got her."
Kaiden couldn't believe that Dean had died. All of a sudden, grief and guilt overwhelmed her. She realized just how much she missed Dean, she missed the smell of his cologne, the sound of his laugh, his smile, his snarky comments, his sassyness, everything. And in that moment, she knew what she was going to name her baby boy.
———
Dean had been released of the Mark of Cain, finally. And the first person he wanted to see was Kaiden. The Winchester brothers hadn't been able to get a hold of the woman, as she had changed her phone number. They figured that Kaiden still lived with her mother, or at least knew where Kaiden was, so they decided to go to her house.
Dean hesitantly knocked on the door, hoping to see Kaiden. However, her mother, Beth, answered the door.  "Dean Winchester?!" She whispered. "Oh, I thought you were dead! Kaiden, she told me that you were gone. Oh, she was so upset that day. She was inconsolable. With losing her father and her - well, you, she has never been the same. It's so good to see you, Dean." She hugged the younger man. "Come in, come in."
Sam and Dean smiled at her as they walked inside. They noticed small toys scattered around the house and pictures a baby boy lined the walls. "Did you adopt a baby?" Sam asked, looking at the pictures.
"Er, no. Not exactly. My sister's daughter just had a baby not that long ago and he's been spending a lot of time over here." She lied, but Sam and Dean seemed to believe her.
"So, where's Kaiden?" Dean questioned eagerly, deeply wanting to see her.
"She should be here soon, she visits every Saturday." Beth said. She wanted to text her daughter to warn her about what she was going to walk into, but she didn't want to distract her driving.
About half an hour later, Kaiden finally arrived at her mothers house. "Mom, I really need you to take D.J, I'm so sleep deprived I swear I hallucinated the Impala in the driveway." She rubbed her eyes sleepily as she bounced D.J on her hip.
"Kaiden, dear." Beth said, rushing to meet her daughter. "Let me take D.J, you have some visitors." The woman gives her mother a strange look as she stumbled into the living room. She's taken aback when she sees Sam and Dean Winchester.
"Dean?" She whispered, clearly shocked. "B-but you were dead. You are dead."
"It's been a long year, sweetheart." Dean smiled at her. Kaiden surged forward, hugging him tightly before moving on to his brother. Sam and Dean sat the woman down and told her all the things that had happened in the last year.
"Why didn't you tell me you were alive sooner?" She asked, strangely calm.
"I just didn't want you to be around me while I still had the Mark of Cain. I didn't want to hurt you." Dean explained. "Honestly, I expected you to be more angry."
Kaiden looked down at her hands. "I haven't been completely honest with you either. So I don't think I have any right to be angry." Sam and Dean gave her concerned looks. She quickly exited the room, grabbing her son from the floor. Dean felt his heart stopped when Kaiden entered the room while a giggly baby boy in her arms. "Guys, meet Dean Franklin Winchester. Or, as I call him, D.J."
Dean looked at her with wide eyes. "Y-you were pregnant?" She nodded. "Why didn't you tell me, Kay?"
Kaiden bit the inside of her cheek. "Well, when I went to visit my dad, things between us weren't the best. And when you sent me that text, I decided that I wasn't coming back. Later that week, I found out that I was pregnant. I didn't want to tell you because I thought that it would make everything worse. I'm sorry, Dean."
"No, Kaiden, I'm the one who should be apologizing. I never should have said that to you, I've regretted it ever since." Dean said sincerely.
There was an awkward moment of silence before Kaiden spoke up. "Would you like to hold him?"
Dean's eyes lit up at the suggestion. He carefully held his son against his chest. "He's so small." Kaiden and Sam smiled at each other as they watched Dean coo at D.J.
"I haven't seen him this happy in a while." Sam whispered to Kaiden. "You know he's been in love with you since forever, right?" The woman scoffed, shaking her head. There was no way that Dean Winchester was in love with her.
"He's not lying, you know." Dean confirmed, looking up from D.J. "That's why I was so pissed when you left without telling me." Sam discreetly snatched D.J from his brother and left the room, wanting to give the two parents some space. "When you were gone, all I wanted to do was talk to you. Of course I was being an ass and couldn't put my ego aside."
Kaiden snorted at that comment. "I'm in love with you, Kay. And I want to remind you of that everyday if you'll let me? Please move back to the bunker. It's not the same without you." He pleaded.
The woman smiled as she brought Dean in for a kiss. "Of course I'll come home."

They drove for hours, windows down, music playing. They sang along, they talked, they became familiar. He could be friends with her, good friends. Easy. They were already lovers. That was also easy. And so, so good. He hoped it would always be like this, feel like this. He felt so lucky to have her. Maybe he did deserve it, he thought.
Maybe I’ve earned it.
Dean turned the car off the road onto a dirt lane, a sign reading for some camping and cabin location. Y/N hummed as she took in the beautiful forest around them, the smell of pine filling her nose. Dean stopped outside the main office, asking her to wait while he ran inside. He was grateful he asked Sam to help. Sam had already set up reservations, called ahead for places to stay and eat. Sam seemed fully on board and invested in this pairing as much as Dean and that only made him more sure of it all.
He returned to the car, flashing the key at her with a smile, “Honeymooner’s Cabin,” he announced with a wink, driving the car up the path to the secluded cabin, one of many. He parked the Impala and Y/N climbed out, stretching after the many hours in the car. Though she wouldn’t complain. She loved road trips and getting to do it in the Impala only made it that much better.
“Go check it out,” he said, handing her the key and pushing her towards the cabin as he retrieved their bags from the trunk. She smiled and turned, heading to the door and opening it wide. Her eyes glanced around the open cabin, the bedroom area split from the main by a stone fireplace. There was also a large jacuzzi tub off to the side of the bedroom area, just outside of the bathroom, also surrounded in stone. It was cozy and romantic.
“What do you think Mrs. Winchester?” Dean asked with a smirk, dropping their bags in the bedroom part of the cabin before returning to her. His smile faded however when he saw her suddenly frozen and wide-eyed, staring at nothing, “Babe?”
It all suddenly hit her at once. The gravity of it all. They were married for crying out loud. All the sex…she was pregnant. She sobbed, a hand coming to cover her mouth. Dean rushed to her, hugging her tightly before she started sobbing hard into his chest, clinging to the sides of his shirt as he held her close and let her work through whatever was happening.
He was suddenly scared. Give him something to hit or kill and he was golden. But there was nothing to hurt to stop her tears. He didn’t know what to do. So he just held her, keeping her safe while she took the time to be vulnerable.
When her sobs calmed down, he cupped her face, tilting her head up to meet his gaze. He wiped away her tears with his thumbs, brushing hairs back from her face, letting his knuckles trail down her cheek.
“What happened?”
“Everything just…hit me, I guess,” she shrugged and sniffed, shaking her head at herself, “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t,” he urged her, “A lot has happened in the past twenty-four hours. You’re allowed to take time and have a freak-out,” he chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.
“You didn’t want this. You didn’t want any of it,” she insisted with a pout, trying to fight off another round of crying.
“Maybe not, but I certainly do now,” he insisted, his arms tightening their hold on her. “Now, how about you and I try out that huge tub together, hmm?”
“You don’t have to do this,” she insisted, removing herself from his hold and Dean felt cold, “All of this,” she said, gesturing around them, “We never really talked about it. We had to do this. For Sam,” she started crying again as she spoke, working herself up more and more, “But we didn’t talk about this,” she whined, “It’s perfect and romantic and I appreciate it, but you don’t have to do this.”
Dean frowned as he took in her words, “Why are you so convinced I don’t want this?” he asked, unable to keep the tinge of hurt from his tone, “I mean, I know I have a reputation and I had a certain sort of mindset,” he reluctantly admitted, “But I thought I was doing a good job of showing you how much I want this. I really want this to work, Y/N.”
He knew she was scared. She was making excuses the same way he would have. Except he was sure of this.
“Can’t you feel it?” he asked, coming to stand before her once more but reluctant to touch her. He wasn’t sure he could take her rejecting his touch again, “I feel it. I feel you.”
“I thought maybe that was just my fangirl or some-”
“Don’t do the fangirl thing as an excuse,” he lightly chuckled, “Maybe you’re a fangirl because your soul knew you were supposed to be with me?” he countered with a boyish grin that melted her heart.
She cleared her throat, walking across the room to the tub, “So, a bath huh?” she smirked over her shoulder at him. She readied the tub while he readied the fireplace. She added bubble bath from the container next to the tub, taking a whiff of the pleasant aroma. By the time she shut off the water, the tub was full, bubbles adorning its surface. Dean’s arms wrapped around her from behind as he placed a kiss to her shoulder.
She let her head lay back on his shoulder as he kissed up her neck. His hands moved slowly to remove her shirt, skimming her skin as he moved.
“You’re always so soft and warm,” Dean praised as his hands explored her newly exposed flesh, squeezing handfuls here and there. His lips skimmed up her neck and behind her ear, sucking a mark into the sensitive flesh and relishing the feel of her hips stuttering against her will. He continued slowly undressing her, kissing and sucking marks all along her neck and shoulders.
“The sounds you make,” he breathed out against her skin, giving her hips a squeeze before backing away from her, “Get in,” he said, helping her into the tub. She moaned as she slipped into the water, letting it soothe aches she wasn’t even aware she had. She opened her eyes to see Dean waiting for her. Once their eyes connected, he slowly removed his clothes, revealing himself to her - just for her.
She let out a dreamy sigh when he was finally standing nude before her. He smirked, feeling more sexy and confident than he had in a long time. He sauntered to the tub, helping her sit forward so he could slip in behind her. Once settled, he pulled her back against his chest and between his legs, his arms finding their place around her once more.
She let out a happy hum as her head rested back on his shoulder. As much as he wanted her, he also didn’t want to break her or think it was only about sex for him. He decided to bathe her, before massaging the aches from her muscles that he put there.
“I know you’re sore,” he admitted apologetically, “And tired,” he chuckled, “I just wanna take care of you.”
“Mmm, well you’re doing a fantastic job,” she giggled, so completely lax.
“Let’s dry you off and get you to bed, hmm?”
After getting them all dried off and throwing back the covers, Dean decided he wanted to sleep nude with her. Feel her softness and warmth against him all night and in the morning. He spooned her and breathed her in, the two of them falling into a happy sleep together.
