#our drink driving ads are brutal #same with the speeding ones #but we know our people so well that some pretentious after school special shit wouldnt work on us so they just went fuck it dial it up to 11 #like simulating accidents where they kill kids and show weeping mothers seeing their son under a sheet type shit #and a deiver wandering through a crash all fucked up and bloody as he tries to make excuses but turns out hes dead #they do not hold that shit back #and good that they dont #ve lost two people in car crashes i dont want to lose any more #weve always been full on with our ads #the smoking ones were fucked #where they squeezed out all the gunk and shit in a real artery to show how much it clogs you up #i dont think they play that one anymore #probably bc of how fucked it was #but i remember my mum talking about the aids awareness ads about the grim reaper coming after people and how scary it was #we just dont pull any punches in this country #coming out of my cage and ive been doing just fine.txt #straya #australia

Ok so when I made this I didn't know that the writers made Hera cheat with Poseidon and I agree that is bad/inaccurate/not very demure and mindful.

And I know I'm not the only one who feels this way #but at the same time: these update writers ARE volunteers #(As a side note -- I personally think anyone running a large social media account should be paid)#(I did that for a few years and it was hell. #elena of avalor #beauty and the beast #batbedit #disneyedit #eoa edit #belle x beast #estebalena #kinda but also not kinda #I think a lot about the fact that it's been confirmed that this is an intentional homage #like EoA series supervising director Elliot M. Bour was just like casually bringing BATB into things as an Easter egg #since it was his first job in animation #and like don't get me wrong; I LOVE that he did this. I just don't know how he expected anyone (i.e. me) to be normal about it afterwards #once you've introduced BATB; it ceases to be a fun and casual reference and just makes the literature major girlies go feral #i thought this was gonna be a quick and easy little project but it wasn't #the parallels are all there but they're in slightly different order in EoA than the original and the pacing for each reference is differen #so i had to determine which ones I needed to skip frames for and which ones to use all the frames #and then try to figure out the speed from there #the coronation day scenes were very hard to color because the grey skies and muted filter kind of whitewash the characters #like you don't even understand i added so MUCH vibrance and saturation to the 4th and 5th gifs but elena's skin still is just gray #and the coloring is still just a very very mixed bag #also i've realized that while I don't think it was an intentional reference in the same way BATB was #anna's sacrifice and resurrection from frozen is perhaps just as --if not more-- a clear parallel to the coronation day scene than BATB #so maybe I will do that one someday too?#once i psych myself up again to try coloring coronation day again #which i imagine will be awhile #these do not look like the same scene and pretty much the same scene at all even if i tried to use the same psd when i could #and edit them to make the coloring as close as i could

Fine and Mayday look SUPER similar. And have VERY similar wardrobes. It's so bad that only Jouse can reliably tell them apart, and he does that by scent. Mayday will use this to fuck with the rest of the Jashverse because "oh hey it's Fine :)" no that is NOT Fine. The biggest thing that sets them apart is their cadence! Mayday usually talks way faster than Fine (154 and 82 bpm respectively) BUT when Mayday slows down purposefully to seem more like Fine he's a little too slow! (halved speed is 77 bpm) So if he talks for too long and someone's paying very close attention they can notice "huh, that's not how Fine talks"! Also if he gets excited he slips back into going really fast which makes it very obvious lol (Fine also speeds up when excited but not near as much) [btw I'm not saying they talk at like. 154 bpm and whatnot. Just that's the song bpms which I used as inspo lol]
