i write smut, fluff, angst, and i’ll usually will only write headcanons, blurbs, etc. not really full fics, seeing as i struggle writing about one thing for so long.

•Marcus would be surprised at your boldness he didn't expect you to kiss him honestly. So when instead of a innocent hug you pulled Marcus for a kiss, his mind went blank...it's less to day that he loved it

•Maria woul kiss you right back and it's so sweet because she's smiling and her heart feels so full of happiness. This is the first new year in such a long time that she has been truly happy

•Saya had the same idea and you both end up bumping your foreheads. You were giggling at your dumbness, but that didn't lasted long cuz you really wanted that kiss.

•Billy couldn't believe you wanted him to be your new year kiss, he didn't move for the first seconds cuz this boy was shocked. After he processed everything, Billy didn't hesitate to deepen the kiss.

•Willie was shy when you pulled him for a kiss, his stomach felt like it was filled with nothing but butterflies and he wasn't really sure how to react. So when the kiss ended he smiled sweetly before going for another kiss

Being sent to King’s by your father as a kind of punishment for not taking the family business seriously enough.

Not really getting along with the other legacies from your crew because you find them pretentious and self involved.

Because of this you end up spending a lot of time on your own at first, just reading in the library or strolling around the city in your free time.

Getting a reputation as a bit of a kid genius in your grade because you pick up the work so quickly.

Developing a mild caffeine addiction to keep up with all the work you’re doing and minimize the amount of time you have to spend with the roommate you hate.

Meeting Saya during an AP class and making her laugh at all the sarcastic comments you mumble under your breath.

Meeting Maria at a party after you find her crying in the bathroom with Saya, and her opening up to you about Chico.

Earning both Saya and Maria’s respect by wordlessly smashing a bottle over Chico’s head and knocking him out cold.

After that you make sure to watch your back around Chico, but still check in on Maria to make sure she’s being treated well as much as you can.

Spending loads of time with Saya and Maria between classes or on weekends but, because they have crews of their own, still ending up spending most of your time alone at first.

Nearly getting run over by Billy in the hallway and him making you spill your coffee and drop all your things.

Billy laughing at the look on your face.

Swearing at him loudly and hitting him with your bookbag to make him apologise.

Becoming really close to Petra and sitting together in almost every class.

Lex thinking you’re good fun and trading creative insults back and forth whenever you’re together.

But really you genuinely do care about each other.

Letting Billy teach you to skateboard on the roof.

Painting Lex’s nails for him while you chat about the politics of the punk movement.

Having an unspoken agreement between you, Willie, Saya and Maria to try and keep the rats from getting picked on.

Most people don’t know that you’re dating aside from your close friends and those closest to Saya in the Kuroki Syndicate

Saya is a pretty private person, and doesn’t feel the need to show off your relationship 

The Kuroki Syndicate know because she’s assigned her people to protect you on multiple occasions when she thinks the Dixie Mob or anyone else might be a threat to you

And she’ll never let anything happen to you on her watch

She loves it when you’re just lying on her bed and you have your head rested on her lap and she runs her hands through hair

It always calms you down, especially when you’re venting to her

Deadly Class Preference: First Date

Marcus and your first date isn't officially a date, not really. You found yourself alone together, next to one another where no one could find you. Marcus picked another fight, sometimes you thought he did that because he wanted to get beat up. You showed him this secret place hoping he wouldn't be found, giving you time to patch him up with your first aid kit. You two ended up talking for hours, listening for footsteps and putting cotton in his nose to stop the bleeding. You didn't mean to, but you felt comfortable around him, enough so to open up. He asked you out properly, but that was a pretty great first date.

Saya brings you to a party. She's nervous, and dreads the face-to-face closeness that other dates have. Everything seemed too intimate. She doesn't wanna mess this up, figuring a party is just casual enough that the pressures of a first date won't completely ruin it. So, you go together. She brings you drinks and flirts whenever she can. By the end of the night you're over the drunk teenagers doing dumb things at some house party, and you find yourselves outside. It's peaceful, surprisingly quiet, Saya finding herself more able to open up now, able to face you without the nervousness and stress.

Maria takes you dancing. Oh she can't wait to show off her skills to you. It was sort of an impulsive ask, a spur of the moment after working up the courage for so long. When you voice your worries about not being the best dancer in the world she brushes it off, offering to teach you. She doesn't mind if you step on her toes a little or go in thew wrong direction. She thinks it's cute. She holds you close, teaching you simple, easy to learn steps, making sure you can keep up. When you dance on your own she definitely shows off, wanting to impress you. It was perfect, getting lost in the music together, an amazing first date.

Willie is a romantic. He likes to mimic the movies, with the candle light dinner, getting all dressed up, flowers, etc. A bit old fashioned, but he wants to treat you right. Your first date consists of a sweet attempt at that. The dinner is takeout, and the candles are plastic, but romantic none of the less. Willie wears a suit, pulling your chair out for you, nervous, but excited. He never thought you would have said yes to a date with him, this was his cgance. The whole night took your breath away. You didn't even realize how long you'd been talking, laughing, until your food grew cold, the candles running low on battery.

Billy couldn't believe you'd said yes. He's not the romantic type, nor does he really want to do anything extravagant. He wants to show you who he is, so your first date ended up on the roof, with lawn chairs, stolen contraband snacks, beer, and some music. No need to get dressed up or freak out about saying the right things. It was comfortable, casual, just the thing you needed. You danced and sang along, showing each other your own favorites, throwing food at each other, in each others mouths, and at things, aiming for the insides of empty bottles. You couldn't imagine the date going any better.

01. hello !!! so so glad you’re taking the time to read, or at least skim through this page. i’m czarina and marsali is one of my many babies on this website. while i can’t expect everybody to remember every rule i’ll be listing below, please keep in mind that you can always revisit this page or send me a question if you’re unsure of something concerning one of these !

02. as much as i’d like it to be otherwise, the state of this blog is usually slow - reply and low activity. i’m a biology major who has classes 4 days a week, around 7 hours a day on average which means i’m almost always busy and on mobile. other factors to me not being around doing replies would be my personal life outside of academics, of course, and the writing highs and lows all roleplayers regularly have. however, just because i take long in getting to our thread, writing your starter or replying to you on im / discord doesn’t mean that i don’t want to write with you ! life can just get really busy and tiring sometimes, i think we all understand that.

i won’t follow anybody who uses: dove cameron, thomas doherty, scarlett johanssen, holland roden, emma stone, jeremy renner, any known abusers and / or sexual offenders as a faceclaim. their anti- tags on tumblr say it all, and i know i can’t force anybody to do this but if you could tag them for me ( i.e. dove cameron // ) then that would be much appreciated.

i also will not follow anybody that writes incest, rape, non-con, underage nsfw, whitewashing, racebent poc / racial poc interchanging ( i.e. jamie chung as mulan, lana condor as lara jean covey / saya kuroki / jubilation lee ), or genderbends, and it’s highly unlikely that i’ll follow anybody that condones it either. keep your ‘fiction isn’t / doesn’t affect reality’ argument to yourself, thanks !

i will be very, very skeptical on following back blogs that have a graphics / aesthetic rule. to each their own and all but it just seems very elitist to me in a way? we’re here to write, not to show off who can work through photoshop best. so yeah, sorry, but i’m also not that sorry for having this here.

03. this blog is mutuals only so yes, that means we’d have to be following each other in order for us to interact. this isn’t me being prejudiced or elitist or anything; i’ve always been selective with who i choose and choose not to follow, and i do this for my own management and comfort.

04. i have not read the books so my portrayal of marsali will rely mostly on how the show has her written as well as my own headcanons for her. if you happen to write marsali too, please don’t steal from me.

05. on the topic of duplicates — i love that someone else out there wants to write marsali !  however, unless i really know the mun, i won’t be following any duplicates for my own comfort, and i ask that they don’t follow me either. i know you probably mean well and i could be following you on some other blog, but please respect this rule.

06. feel free to tag me in random starters, send me random ic asks and such !! i love writing out starters and plotting but spontaneous interactions are the best. i track #neamhnaid so if you ever wanna drop me a line make sure it gets into that tumblr tag so that i can see and get to it in time ! additionally, i am always up for plotting things out so don’t be afraid to run something by me if you have ideas.

•The Deadly Squad used to do freestyle in the rooftop after Willie had been rambling nonstop about this new rap group he found out, besides that he has seen the other members of the New World Order doing it, so he wanted to give it a try with his real friends.

•They were hesitant towards it at first since they didn't wanted to make fool of themselves, but the one to put their hands on the fire was Billy.

•He didn't had any sense of shame and besides he was feeling like cheering up the atmosphere, so he started and it was pretty awful to say the least. All of them laughed, but that didn't made Billy feel bad since that was he looking for.

"Man, you suck at this!" Willie said breathlessly, whipping a way a tear of joy." But hey, you got the spirit!"

•It didn't took long for Marcus to find some courage and do it, but he sucked too. He was pretty shy about this, not knowing what to say, so he end up chuckling and passing his turn to someone else.

•And now it was time for Willie to shine. He had been practicing with the other kids of his clique, winning and losing battles, but he didn't really cared that much about it.

•He was by far better than the rest and it kinda amazed his friends the way he carried himself. Willie was really happy when some of them showed how impressed they were.

•It was nice to have a normal night far away from the usual danger a place like King's Dominion has.

So much shit talking on the way there, I’m talking everyone crammed into Willie’s car, talking at full volume and arguing about who should get to play the music.

Billy wearing waaaaaaay too much sunscreen, because he got a really bad sunburn when he was a kid and has been super cautious of it ever since.

Lex complaining because he technically shouldn’t be swimming with, or exposing his new tattoo to the sun for another week, but then being the first person to barge into the ocean anyway.

Petra being a little nervous at the idea of wearing a swimsuit in public.

Not because she’s self conscious about her figure, because she’s not, but because she’s so pale and she’s worried she’ll draw attention to them all.

Saya rolling her eyes at Lex and Billy so hard that you’re worried she might go blind.

Wandering around the beach aimlessly for ages, trying to pick the perfect spot.

Eventually Saya just gets fed up, puts her towel down and pulls out a book to read, and that’s where you stay.

Willie bringing his boom box so you can all listen to music while you play around on the beach.

Building sand castles with Maria and Billy.

Maria spending loads and loads of time making hers pretty, while Billy tries to make his towers really tall and Lex just digs a really really deep hole next to you all.

Maria telling you stories about the beaches in Mexico, and making you promise to come visit her there one day so she can show you all her favorites.

Petra disappearing behind a pair of giant sunglasses the moment you arrive and pretending to have a terrible time, even though you can see her smiling and laughing along with the rest of you.

So eventually you just make your own rules, and call your new game Death to Volleyball.

(It’s basically just dodgeball with some extra steps).

Teaming up with Marcus to take the others down, only to turn on him at the last moment, making you the official first ever Death to Volleyball tournament champion.

Your prize is having Willie throw you over his shoulder and then run full tilt into the ocean to dunk you in.

Eating pre-made sandwiches that are a little gross, and a little sandy by the time you’re hungry, but still thinking they’re the best thing ever.
