My unpopular opinion is that I love gatekeeping my signature scent. I smell good because I meticulously layer body washes, scented soaps, body oils, body butters, body sprays, fragrant oils, hair mist, and finally perfume to achieve the perfect scent. And I simply don't wish to talk about all that to a stranger or someone I'm not close friends with. My routine is also intimate to me and I consider it a part of my hygiene routine, so being asked to share it feels weird, like I'm being asked to share my toothpaste or deodorant.

I also don't think it's wrong to want to have a unique scent that encapsulates my personality and tastes, or to want a little mystery surrounding my beauty secrets.

I recently got very into perfumes after realizing that the V&R Flowerbomb I've been wearing for like 6+ years has become very grating to my nose over time and I needed to explore other scents, and it's absolutely wild how acute the realization that simply Walking Around While Smelling Nice improves my day so immensely is.

if i could have purple dove bar soap turned into a perfume i would be so happy. Creamy coconut milk with hints of jasmine… i mix alien goddess or d&g garden with hugo boss femme but i wish for ONE perfume to have it all -_- And i’ve been thinking of a new freshie to add to my collection and i want to try a drop d’issey. Also this might sound weird if you know the notes but JPG scandal smells so clean and fresh on me i fw it immensely. Can you tell my bday is coming up and my mommy wants to buy me a perfume? Even though i already got myself one in advance. I’ll have to think of different gift but i’ve been so depressed i’ve only been thinking about killing myself lately like it’s flooding my mind i don’t think you’re supposed to feel like this

Perfumes to keep them away. Scents to never get compliments on. Perfumes for aloof women. Wear this if you want to make him too scared to talk to you. My top 3 snobby unapproachable hag scents! If you want to smell like this [job application. rain. clear nail polish] try these scents. Smell inedible! Non-stop peace.

hello! just wondering if you’ve ever smelt ysl’s “black opium”? i use a dupe for it (zara gardenia) and i trust your nose more than i trust jo malone herself. thank you and no worries if not!

i have not! but if i get the chance to do so i'll review it here! i'm usually a fan of scents with coffee in them so i can see myself enjoying the drydown of black opium, but pear + floral top notes can go screechy / headache-inducing on me
