Pride Breaker the Warogian Dreadnought

Pride Breaker is stationed above the the Warogian sublevel military training center. The dreadnought serves as the T3V (an Warogian Outpost) military base. [There are a number of changes from the first draft I posted earlier this week].

 Before I break down the levels of this build first things first cc credits: @murfeelee I live for her cc, @aroundthesims (literally every build I make has cc from this amazing creator), @aa6x7​ , @emersims​ , @martassimsbook​ (specifically her conversion of @sg5150​ shooting range and non-tumblr creators Ladesire and Pandorasims. There are a ton of other creators but I’m not sure which items came from who so if you recognize a creators hardwork please let me know so I can give them credit.

Now on to the build!

Pride Breaker features a state of the art med bay with surgical and cryogenic capabilities, it also features a statis chamber.

Pride Breaker has 10 bunks, a private room for the captain and diplomatic guest on the first level. Also on this level is the weight room, kitchen, showers, viewing deck, cargo hold and med bay.

On the second level you will find command center, access to the engine rooms, and a conference room.

The Warogian military training center is a sublevel base which features a simulation room, shooting ranger, weight room, and the rescue ship hanger.

This lot is perfect for story telling. It is very cc heavy (you’ve been warned). You will need rabbit hole rugs (the llama rug is needed to get on the ship  and the sublevel entrance) the military rabbit hole is on the second level of the ship. Too Fond of Books - Book Cover & Novel Icon Defaults

Hey everyone! I have something a little different to share today...a set of book cover and novel icon defaults! 📚

Full disclosure first: learning how to default stuff is really high on my priority list right now, but I have not done it yet. These defaults are simply texture swaps of Slig's Default Book Covers and Novel Icons because I am very much a don't-reinvent-the-damn-wheel kind of woman. Obviously, you cannot have Slig's defaults and mine at the same time.

So there are covers for all the book genres, including the skill-book-on-steroids that comes from the education career reward shelf:

They're mostly inspired by Sims elements, although not entirely:

Romance: Pleasantview, featuring Daniel and Mary Sue Pleasant

Drama: A Veronaville Dream

Mystery: The Hound I'm a fan of Sherlock Holmes stories so this is just a straight-up Hound of the Baskervilles reference, but I made the (illegible lol) author Mole, as in Desiderata Valley's John Mole

Reference: The Maastrichtian Age, which is the age when Tyrannosaurus rex lived...I don't care if they're studying cleaning, I always want my Sims reading about dinosaurs XD

Cooking: Sue's Secret Recipes as a nod to Sue's Secret Kitchen, the cooking hobby secret lot

Sci-Fi: Dragon Valley Sooo...I like sci-fi, but I'm much more into fantasy, so that's the direction I went for this one (it still says sci-fi on the bookshelf selection). The (also illegible) author is Hugh Grey, a writer from TS3's Dragon Valley hood

Children's: Bilious Bob by Thomas Quill, historian/librarian from TS3's Barnacle Bay. This is a reference to the pirate captain ghost who haunts the Twikkii Island pirate ship

Education Skill Book: Knowledge For All Seasons by Lazlo Curious. Does what it says on the box :P

And then there are the icon replacements. The covers match the ones above (minus the education book, of course). I went through a lot of icons and found matches for most of the plot elements...but I also changed quite a few to better suit my own tastes. Most of the sci-fi stuff got nixed in favor of new fantasy elements, and some of the ones I never used went out the window as well.

So you still get aliens and weather, but also dragons and tea, because who doesn't love dragons and tea? 🐉 🍵

There are two separate packages in the download, so if you only want book defaults and not the icons, or vice versa, just chuck the one you don't want. Swatches are also included as a reference.

Most of the book cover icons are by max.icons, but there are also a few by Chanut-is-Industries, ultimatearm, Icon Pond and Freepik. All of the plot element icons are by Freepik.

Happy almost new year!

Yesterday I posted that whole "Top 10 Tumblr posts" but while that was fun to see, I figured I'd go through things I felt was a great accomplishment of this year for me. And some new years resolutions ;)

Accomplishments of 2023:

I made a website!

I know it's tiny and that it's not really great (yet) for getting tons of views, but I do want to thank everyone (I actually typed out all the names but tumblr was being stupid and I couldn't post the post then :/) for either giving it a try or using it. Without you, it would've just been a floating idea with no purpose. :) Thank you so much for believing in it!

I created a new sims story!

Gone a bit back to my original Simblr roots and made a story! Chapter 1 had been in my screenshots folder for over 2 years now, but I was just self-conscious about sharing it. I'm glad I actually got to terms that the only way to know if people will like it, is by sharing it. :)

Came back to Tumblr fully again.

Over those 2 years I hadn't really been on Tumblr much. I'd post my mod posts and that was it. Truth be told, I didn't really have much motivation to do TS3 stuff anymore at that time. But I think in the end I forgot how fun it can be :) I know I suck at interacting with people, though my anxiety often gets the best of me, and I'm genuinely sorry about that! I'm hoping to change that next year with some help.

New Year's resolutions:

Making Simblr.cc feel more personalized

I feel like currently it feels very download-oriented, which I'd like to keep! But that vibe also seems to be around with the more picture - oriented things. So I just want to make part of that feel more Tumblr-ish where it's just your personalized space. :)

Starting to sell stickers (and such)!

I know, kind of clique thing that everyone seems to be doing now and then, but I have seriously been loving to draw a lot. Though, my creative outlet only seems motivated when I do something for someone/something. So I was hoping to not just sell stickers for SImblr.cc as a donation thing, but also to make some of my own. :)

Finishing LISISV

I never intended to make LISISV like those shows that have been around for 20 years and going on. :p I know most of you do, which I love! But I'm not sure if I will be able to, lol.

I was hoping to rewrite the entirety of "Elly" which I did YEARS ago as a wee 14 year old (till I think, like 16?) but that's all basically teenage cringe IMO :p The concept and the characters however I always adored. So who knows!

Figuring out what to do with Interests & Hobbies

I keep promising that I'll finish it "after this mod" and I honestly do open it up, work on it for a little bit but then I start working on a feature and it... just doesn't work with the mod? However, the more I do that, the more 'bland' the mod becomes. So I don't know what do with it anymore 😅 Anyone who knows please help!

Making this space mod I have been wanting to do for a while

Not many people know this about me but i'm a huge sci-fi nerd :p And I wondered how hard it would be to make this “colonizing the a planet” space mod in TS3. Though I know that most people probably wouldn't care about that, since TS3 is more about generational things and... not so much about those things. So, who knows.

I guess I just need to sit down with myself and get my shit together, honestly.

Attempting to actually talk to others.

I don't know how people do it... I honestly want to keep tap of everyone I follow but I get so exhausted, if not, my anxiety starts kicking in because "what if I say the wrong things?" It's not just a tumblr thing though, i've been like that since forever, and maybe should just reach out for help for it. I just don't know.

I just feel as of late that people put great effort into commenting on my things and I'm barely there for them. Yet, just know that I am there, that I do think of you, i'm just deleting my sentences over and over again and just giving up. I'm genuinely sorry about that.

Thank you for sending me this back! I usually don't talk about how much i love some of my edits. But it's their time to shine!

First of all i should say that this portrait of Debbie is currently a GEM among my edits. I love it so much with all of my heart. The hair, the makeup, the BLOUSE. And the colors! Lately i've been trying various color schemes to diverse my edits more and this one comes out very special to me.

Second favorite is Andrea's portrait. I was just testing tattoos on her and took this portrait almost randomly but i love the way she's looking. Her eyes are full of strenght. Her previous portraits wasn't my favorite for some reason (maybe because she wore much makeup)

These ones are pretty old (from 2021) but i still geniunely love them! Especially Naomi. The idea of recreating her was rather impulsive because i was binge watching The Expanse but she comes out insanely realistic to me! She is edited a lot, i know. But her whole face structure was fully made in game. I just added some little touches of highlighting and shading. This portrait was unusual to me since i usually don't take screenshots at the background with something (just blank color surface yk) and it was fun to edit, especially draw her hair! It was almost the first time i drawn curly hair.

Second one is my self-portrait! Still my favorite because of the hairstyle, i think. This is my favorite type. I dreamed about converting it since ages when i didn't have converting skills. Too bad it haven't had much attention when i uploaded hair :( Nvm, everything is calling out to me from the hair to the colors and neat editing in here.

My favorite portraits from sci-fi series (which is no longer exist now) Rhea should've been betrayer of the squad and Paula had a role of a smart android on board. She was designed by Aaron and he took his deceased wife as a "face claim".

First one is my friend and classmate Oksana. When i showed her my creations, she asked me to recreate her in ts3. I already thought about that before she asked since she is really unique beauty! And she was also the one who supported my sims-hobby and adored my every picture. That was so cute of her. She liked the result by the way!

Second one is my "son" Freddie! I love him with all of my heart, he is just cute in this sweater even with his serious look in the eyes. This simple portrait was just for a preview picture for contacts, but it ended up being my favorite as self-dependent picture. They both came up pretty and realistic to me!

And the last one closing my top of favorites is Francine. This picture has taken in far away 2018. It is named "autumn rhapsody" on my PC. Francine really means a lot to me as a character. I developed her very well, and i wish i could tell whole story about her someday. To me, Francine is bright and melancholic just like autumn. Her color scheme is also what reminds of autumn and the last rays of sunshine that lays down on the fallen leaves.

In general i have a lot of favorite pictures of mine but they weren't posted for some reason (i'm lazy to edit them) so i hope we will see more in future!

Hello, welcome to my blog. It's basically Sims 2 at this point though I technically started it with the intention to post about whatever game I played... that just happens to be almost entirely Sims 2 lol. I do enjoy other games as well though and want to get more into them. I also love Sims 3.

Non-sim games I enjoy include (but are not limited to): Mortal Kombat, Pokemon, Racing games, Street fighter, Zelda, horror games and more. I recently got a PS5 and do also have other PC games and a switch as well as older consoles (xbox 360, N64, wii, PS2, 3DS).

For tags, Sims 2 always gets "TS2", Sims 3 "TS3" etc. Anything not about the sims gets "nonsims". I often randomly tag a lot of things, like names of the sims in the post/what hood they are in/etc, but those (TS2/TS3/nonsims) should always be consistent if you want to block anything in particular.

I've also started tagging "religion in sims" as my sims have (made up but still) religions and if you'd like to avoid those posts, block that tag.

Let me know if you want me to add any other tags to something. I'll add whatever game i'm talking about as well to the tags, like "mortal kombat" if I mention Mortal Kombat etc.

In Sims 2 I play rotationally (Mon - Thurs, Thurs - Mon). I don't play in a strict order, just making sure I get to everyone before starting the next round. I play a megahood with Strangetown, Pleasantview, Riverblossom Hills, Bluewater Village, Widespot, Downtown, Sim State University, La Fiesta Tech and Land Grant University.

In Sims 3 I play legacy style.

About me: My name is Tyler. I was born in February of 1989 and am an Aquarius sun, Aries moon, Libra rising and Venus Aquarius. Yes I am into astrology. I am Pagan. I am also a nonbinary trans man and my pronouns are He/They.

I am also physically disabled, in multiple ways as I was born with VACtERL Association (yes it's capitalized like that for a reason as it's an acronym where you only need 3 of the letters at a minimum to qualify). I have chronic pain. I am also neurodivegent: Autistic, Adhd and Aphantasia. Triple AAA lol. I also have mental health issues like anxiety but not just anxiety.

I love to read, play sims, write. I love art. I read all kinds of different genres, and age ranges. My favorite genres horror and nonfiction but I read pretty much everything. Contemporary, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Thriller, Historical fiction, Romance etc.

I also use cannabis medically, and recreationally, and am sometimes (not always lol) playing Sims while high.

1. What’s your favorite world in any sims game?

I'm only familiar with TS2 and TS3, so I'll (try to!) answer for those. Though I suppose I don't really have a favorite EA neighborhood in TS2 because I never played any of them. I always preferred an empty custom map and then building it up myself. I was never interested in playing any of the pre-built/pre-populated neighborhoods. And actually, the same holds true for TS3, in that I've never played any of the EA worlds and have little-to-no interest in doing so. If I want to play an already-built world, I usually choose an unpopulated custom one and then create (or let NRaas Story Progression create) its population.

That said, I think Shang Simla is beautiful -- probably because it's mountainous, and I'm a mountain girl -- so I send my Sims there often. I also like Oasis Landing for its sort of "retro sci-fi" look. Seriously, if you play it in black & white it looks very much like something out of a 1940s-era Flash Gordon movie.

As far as custom TS3 worlds go, my go-to if I want an already-built world is MySimRealty's worlds. Their design sense is similar to mine. Otherwise, I love all of the roadless worlds made by Mammut and posted at Simszoo. Generally, I favor roadless worlds, since I like playing in a more "primitive"/rustic style in general.

13. How long have you been playing the Sims and how did you get into it?

It depends on how you define "playing." My daughter and her (at the time!) little friends played TS2, and I sort of became interested in building stuff in it by looking over their shoulders. So I bought my own copy late in 2007 and for at least a year just built stuff in it. At some point I decided to plop a family into a house I'd built, and only then did I become interested in actually playing the game. Honestly, I'm often still more of a builder than a player, though.

28. How do you choose your sims’ traits, aspiration, and/or career?

Traits I choose randomly. If the game doesn't assign them to a sim, then I use a random number generator to pick them, and I stick with what I get. Otherwise, I'd have all virtuosic/artistic dramatic horse-loving divas with green thumbs, knowing me.

Aspiration for born-in-game sims is sometimes "whatever comes up in their wishes" and sometimes something I pick that seems to suit them and their personality. If I'm creating adult sims in CAS that I don't "know," so to speak, then I tend to use a random number generator to pick from among the options offered once their traits are randomly chosen.

Career can be the one that matches the lifetime wish they got, or it can be something that suits their traits, or it can be the first option that comes up in the newspaper/on the computer, or it can be the one they finally, successfully interview for, when I'm using the Jobs Overhaul mod. Or, sometimes no one has a career at all.

You know what kind of pack we need in the sims 4? A gambling one! Like a casino games themed pack. Tbh I have always really wanted to turn oasis springs into Las Vegas and it's not the same without gambling games tbh.

Ea would never, but a mod would suffice!

Tbh I'm just waiting and waiting for them to add fairies back to the game :( we have werewolves finally but fairy was always my favorite occult to play in ts3 !!!! I wish ts3 wasnt so ugly and poorly optimized and literally broken because I would ditch ts4 for ts3 in a heartbeat lol

Also unpopular opinion maybe? but I loved the future pack from ts3 and would like something like it for ts4 with all of the cool sci-fi furniture and hoverboards and stuff. that pack was SO much fun to play with. ah I miss ts3

3. Favorite pack (that you own or wish you did) drom any sims game and why?

That's a hard one, but I do really adore Cottage Living for ts4. I'm a lover of games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Ooblets etc. Etc. so there's no wonder why I'd enjoy a pack about farming and living in a close knit community lol. But I also think playing w occults are fun too, so I think the Supernatural pack for ts3 is fun too and I really like how in depth ts4 goes w them. That's something I really like about ts4, but I really wish they'd update aliens and mermaids so they'd be more exciting bc mermaids are my favourite mythical creatures, and as a sci-fi lover I think aliens are fun

14. Why did you decide to start a simblr?

I kinda just stumbled into it sometime in 2017 (?) And I've been at it ever since. Honestly, I just discovered this community, thought it looked fun and wanted to share my sims too. I've been at it ever since.

Overall, I've had a pretty positive experience here. My mutuals are nice, and the blogs I've chosen to follow are nice as well. It's also been very nice to be able to grow and learn from seeing everyone's posts and taking inspiration from each other

28. How do you choose your sims' traits, aspiration, and/or career?

That really depends. Sometimes I have an idea of what kind of sim I want to make, and sometimes what the sim looks like dictates what traits and aspirations I give them. In ts3 they also got wishes for what jobs they wanted, so that was nice and easy. And sometimes I just randomise. It all just depends on the situation

i’m mass recoloring world objects for future worldbuilding use, and got an idea (not really a new one, but reminded myself how much i wanna do it)

you know how some newer packs have interactive buildings with a choose your own adventure prompt set? i wanna make some

but the question is: what kind? i wanna balance mundane and fantasy/sci-fi since my wip save is going to be a mix of those

i know TS3 had some of those of the mundane variety, but i’m open to ideas in replies :0
