Asil & Her wife “Tim” (she won’t give Asil her real name unless she gives her an amount of money that gets higher every time the topic’s brought up)
Asil and “Tim” are married because while Asil was investigating a case she found out that Tim’s current husband was a lout who’d she’d have to get married to again if she didn’t find someone else to enter into a marriage with.
Asil tried several avenues to get Tim out of this but in the end she was cornered and had to think quickly and so she got married to Tim instead of him as soon as the previous contract was up.
She and Tim don’t cohabitate (Tim lives various places, all on Ferenginar while Asil travels constantly for her work but mostly lives out of a small personal ship) and they don’t talk regularly but every time their marriage contract is coming to a close Asil offers to renew it and Tim* accepts the money ‘on behalf of her father’.
*It’s unclear whether or not Tim actually has any family
Tim is a dominatrix/escort (two separate occupations but she’ll combine ‘em if you want) and considered very...arousing in every way, both good and bad, to other Ferengi. She doesn’t really care about women’s rights or anything, she just wants to make money and she saw the new movement as an opportunity to do that. She intentionally doesn’t lean too far towards being political so that she isn’t considered a persona non grata and will 100% disparage and make fun of feminists when it suits her to do so. Basically just wants to be provoking enough to stand out but not enough to genuinely challenge the status quo.
When she and Asil are in public together she makes Asil speak to people for her because it’s not proper for a lady to speak to strangers! But when she’s alone she speaks to strangers just fine. She also sometimes shows up naked just so Asil will scramble to buy her clothes.
Asil has no idea whether or not Tim likes her earnestly or is just using her. (she would continue their marriage either way, it’s just something she’s curious about) They go on a lot of dates whenever Asil has time and Tim seems to enjoy herself immensely but she’s very mysterious about her background. They also have a lot of sex.
Tim is actually a pretty paranoid person who feels safe with Asil...but she doesn’t want her to know that. Thinks Asil is a bit of a sucker but thinks it affectionately. Appreciates Asil’s calmer interactions with her and her steady but distant support since her ex-husband was very controlling and volatile. Currently considers Asil to be a kind and generous patron more than a wife but...who knows~
Asil finds Tim fascinating and wants to help/protect her. Asil also has a bit of a type which Tim fits very neatly into: Cute girls who will bite her. She considers Tim to be her wife.
Asil is actually very popular with the other women Tim hangs out with and they all giggle and fawn over her whenever Tim brings her around. Tim loves it.
Asil hired someone to teach Tim how to read so she wouldn’t get caught up in any more unfair contracts while Asil was gone.
Tim also sometimes proves useful with getting information out of people that Asil can’t or exploring avenues closed to Asil. She helps her wife eagerly! For the right price~

When Qymaen’s work took him to Coruscant, he liked to tackle his collections from the top-down, starting at the grandiose skyscrapers of the surface and descending through the ecumenopolis into the gritty underworld. He supposed other agents might have preferred the opposite: work their way up from indigence to affluence, get the low profile clients out of the way before enjoying the more lucrative commissions that came from the wealthy upper levels. Qymaen’s priorities, however, lay in what brought him greater pleasure—and he garnered immense satisfaction from releasing a healthy dose of pent-up violence upon deserving parties, most of whom tended to make ends meet in the undercity. He always saved the best for last.
On this particular excursion to Republic City, the best and last saw him ducking into a public refresher to wash the blood from his knuckles while his IG-100 units waited patiently outside.
Qymaen’s position of commander of the Collections and Security Division did not preclude him from continuing his usual collections duties, even minor assignments—not that he minded in the slightest. He did have the means to send forces of droids in his stead and issue orders from the comfort of Muunilinst, and once or twice he conducted his affairs thus, but he knew from the outset such was not his preference. When he was Khagan, he threw himself into battle at every opportunity, and while his assignments for the IGBC hardly qualified as warfare, the sentiment still stood. He took what he could get, and then some.
Perhaps that was why he’d beaten this last client’s face to an unrecognizable pulp after he’d already paid the owed credits. A bit much; remarkably cathartic.

Poll adventure (paventure? lol) Day 5: read the small story tidbit below the poll for more details, OR just vote based on initial impression
(✦ see past poll results + further information HERE (link) ✦)
The winning option of yesterday's poll was that the adventurer should choose a suspicious egg as his gift ….
"He carefully plucks the egg from the gift pile, wrapping it in spare fabric and tucking it away inside a small wooden box within his backpack for safety. Not really wanting to stick around and get accidentally pulled into scary underground tunnels or something, he shakily bids the Well Creature farewell, and continues on through the forest, just following whatever he can find that looks vaguely like a path.. He makes an occasional stop to pick up a cool rock, harvest berries, or let the cat play in the grass, but mostly just wanders aimlessly, lost in daydreams and contemplations of how his New Fun Life Of Spontaneous Adventure is going so far......
Eventually, the forest tapers off into a more open area of land, hosting what seems like a humble little village. By this point, it's nearly nightfall, which reminds him that he's actually quite afraid of the dark, so he scrambles about town for a moment until finally finding the local Inn. After nervously stumbling inside, he rents the cheapest room available, then sits alone, snacking on some free leftover food scraps and plain water. It's been a tiring day, but in the spirit of becoming an adventurer and pushing himself to have as many experiences as possible, he figures he could hang around downstairs a little longer, perhaps get one more thing done before bed -- What should he do?"

from ash . me &. the bestie ! ✌️ :P ( < - - - guy who irritates the crap out of ash )
* kind of conditional for the spoiling one , bc soaking up tobias’ resources &. funds is hilarious sometimes , but too much &. ash’ll start rejecting it . especially if nothing is asked in return . 🙄
* betrayal is also conditional because ash works on a “ don’t betray me / give me a reason to betray you &. i won’t ” basis . so it depends on tobias really . betrayal from ash’s side would be unlikely almost impossible if tobias was able to achieve ash’s loyalty in the first place , but that’s a matter of if , so ! depends !
Are you Tobias' type?
❛ Hm? ❜ While the amount of checked boxes and the feat of achieving (multiple) bingos fall short of a surprise given the person who's completed them - for had they truly been that different from one another, Tobias would never have taken this longstanding of an interest in Ash -, his eyes immediately dart to what appears to be a small, typically unobtrusive note at the bottom of the card. Without it there, perhaps he would have found it more compelling to contemplate the meaning behind having been willingly handed something of this sort, but as things stand, Tobias' gaze falls on the minuscule comment and after a single, reticent blink, the nonchalance in his expression cracks and the corners of his mouth begin to twitch. Pfft--- ❜ It isn't long until he caves and laughs, and a finger must soon reach to wipe the tears that threaten to form in his eyes.
It takes a prolonged moment for the laughter to subside (through rather monumental efforts on his part) yet even after it fades, the glint of amusement in Tobias' gaze remains steadfast, unwavering. ❛ You should go ahead and check the 'similar sense of humor ' box too. I'd say the difference isn't quite as big as you think it is. ❜ One last soft chuckle, the previous laughter's final bastion, and the mafioso decides to swiftly gloss over Ash's answers. The majority of the important ones are checked, with the sole exception of being trusted, and dare he say another one has also positively caught him off-guard, but instead of letting it show, a mischievous grin steers the conversation towards the harmless, unchecked ones. Travel and adventure. Does Ash dislike them because of past experiences, a distaste for new experiences, or because he's the one he'd have to be stuck with for the entire experience? ❛ Are you sure you don't want to give some of these others a go, though? If you combine everything you've left unchecked, you might just give Dino a heart attack. ❜
