for the amount of time i spend thinking about erika ishii, i do not post about them NEARLY enough

everything i've ever seen them in, they have been fully dialed in. they understand the genre, they understand the character they're playing, and they NEVER. FUCKING. MISS

my current dnd character is actually based on multiple characters of erika's that i enjoy. my character is a witch (like ame of worlds beyond number fame [thank you to the witch class playtest]) but she is also a brewer who grows weed and shrooms, and deals them, and does them (and her personality is very much modeled off of danielle barkstock in dimension 20's the seven)

i feel that many of my favorite moments from erika are often focused on other characters. but many of those character moments would not have been possible without erika's incredible roleplay and sense for storytelling

and when the moment IS focused on erika's character? spellbinding. groundbreaking. from ame talking to orima in the overgrown shrine to danielle getting a nat 20 at the masquerade ball, i always fall into the scene and feel it so deeply due to erika's skill and poise and commitment to the story being told

tldr i think erika ishii is incredibly talented and wonderful

Currently imagining Arthur + Gwen + the knights asking someone (maybe druids?) who this famous "Emrys" is and they proceed to do a version of "We Don't Talk About Bruno" while Arthur, Gwen and the knights grow increasingly more distressed with each line and Merlin hyperventilates in the background

The entity that had been summoned practically growled, a cloak like swirling galaxies- or was it swirling galaxies molded into a cloak- shimmering around their form. One pair of arms crossed over a chest where a star pulsed with the heartbeat of universes, alive yet dying as lazarus green eyes glowered down at the league and bats alike. 

“You know you could, fucking call, right?” they whined, aura of terror suddenly broken, unnatural fear torn away and leaving all of them wrong-footed and confused.

Well, apparently all of them except for Ras, who had an honest to fuck grin on his face, one that looks almost carefree, if a little feral. Nope. No thanks. Not this timeline-

“But phones didn’t exist last we spoke, ya ‘amar.”

Thank you for 5,000 followers ! I was thinking of what to post as a thanks and realized I wrote a letter (months ago) in response to this post that I reblogged (see: my tags).

Anyway, I wrote it ages ago for me but I decided to share it as a 5k gift. Here is the hypothetical letter Seven would've written to MC after their first kiss :) (inspired by Alex Turner)

As I write this, I feel vaguely sick to my stomach. Not only have I become acutely aware of my own feelings, but I have become forced to acknowledge the true depth of them. It makes me feel a bit powerless, my body and soul being at the mercy of your hands, lips, feet and every part of you as if I have lost all agency. Maybe I have, in a way. The moment we kissed, I knew immediately I was a goner. In more ways than one. It was both exhilarating and terrifying. Terrifying because I know that I have ruined every kiss hereafter for the rest of my life, sentenced to compare every single one afterwards to yours while knowing they will never live up. Exhilarating because kissing you once has opened the opportunity to kiss you again, even a few more times if you’d like. Possibly forever, if you allow it. 

The intimacy of our friendship these years have comforted in ways no one but us two will ever understand, but the intimacy of a possible relationship comforts me even more. I know, deep down, that this is a bad idea. The cons outweigh the pros: our friendship is too delicate to ruin, and yet I want the alternative so badly that I am willing to risk that nugget of a chance to kiss you again. Will you let me? Or will I be forced to write about it in songs and hope one day you’d connect the dots and save me from the uniquely horrible suffering of an unrequited love? Please don’t let this be a singular moment. Or a lapse in judgment. Or a simple testing of the waters. Please dive completely into the deep end as I already have.

valgrace except jason is an international superstar and prodigy in football and leo is known worldwide for his podcast who brings special guests on his shows like piper mclean who’s made a name for herself in historical dramas always in the lead of a warrior, architect annabeth chase who’s been granted the honor of rebuilding the temples and ruins in greece and rome with her olympic swimmer boyfriend percy jackson.

and by popular demand, the public requested jason grace to be on hephaestus’ forge. leo, always the good host, obliges and reaches out to jason.

what the audience doesn’t know is that leo and jason have known eachother for years, running in the same crowd during middle school and high school despite being interested in different things. like all close best friends, they parted ways due to university and internships across the country. but they parted with a kiss goodbye, a promise to one another that held up since they were young.

so when jason finally arrives onto the scene, leo feels everything rush back and now that the season is over, jason plans to stay in new york.
