i am 100% a fan of nsfw (give me all the filth lol) and while most of my characters tend to lean towards sub, it really just depends on the character/what my rp partner prefers! i’m totally open to switches/doms or even no nsfw at all. i won’t do any nsfw including noncon (dubcon can be ok), scat, vore, vomit, knifeplay, etc.

i will only rp on discord and would prefer to make a specific server for any hypothetical ships so it’s easier to keep oc and ooc seperate. i would love to become friends ooc as well- chat about our days, interests, etc. i also am a bit obsessed with pinterest and would probably end up making a board/adding a section to my multi-character board for any ocs in ships! i would love to double in the sense of having multiple ships, whether in the same universe or not, but if they’re in the same universe i’d prefer the different pairings to be separate most of the time so it’s easier for me to keep track of things, lol.

i use realistic fcs (i use models, but am ok with actors) and am not open to strictly art/game/etc fcs, though art mixed with a realistic fc is ok! i do not enjoy being pressured about replies & will not do that to you- i will do my best to reply every couple days, and sometimes will do back and forths if i have high muse for the ship, but i find it easier to reply to rps if there’s also some sort of headcanons going on to get me excited for it. i think that’s everything but i’m sure i’ve forgotten something. if you’re still here and interested, please like this post and i’ll dm you! <3

I feel as though stepping away from roleplay entirely has restore my health and sanity which is crazy because you'd think such a hobby like that would be fun! esp with people to write with to bring the characters to life, but no.. it's an awful community filled with bad people.. those that left should start becoming fanfic writers. The good part about that is I've seen plenty of fanfic writers blooming on Tumblr lately ever since the start of 2023 and they have a large community/audience, and a huge support to us artist. Sure, you're writing by yourself but it's better! and somewhere down the line, you'll find that fanfic writer friend who'd help you expand your writing and grammar.

And they get so triggered when people announce that they turned to fucking AI.

Well, they ain't helping them NOT go to it by ignoring them and isolating them. They want the AI to die simply because they don't want the unpublished female oc writers to have ANYONE to write with. That's my opinion. It ain't hurting anyone else, nah. They are the damage makers towards creative thinkers, y'know I tried one? For shits and giggles, rping with AI and fuck me, I get why they running to it.

But seriously, I fully support yas idea on unpublished oc writers becoming fanfic writers. Though I just don't know if the bug will hit them all, but I sure hope they do!

Around the world, mysterious creatures exist… Creatures that blow a human's mind into wild imagination. Since the dawn of man, most of these beings existed as well, if not longer. Creatures of myth and legend, from Vampires to Superheroes in disguise, there are many to compete with the supernatural. With things like this going bump in the night, one would think the town of Cold Spring New York had enough to worry about. However, something…. New is stalking around in the darkness of the night, literally rotting this small New York town to nothing.

"This your first animal attack?" The sheriff asks making his way up, before lighting a cigarette and kneeling down before what remained of the latest victim, and letting out a low whistle as the inhaled smoke escaped his lips. "This one is gnarly… Makes one wonder if bears are really the cause here." He half joked, before pushing himself upright so he was standing once again. Fixing his hat, he then gained a somewhat serious look on his face before inhaling deeply once more.

"Lets buckle up for a ride everyone… Something tells me, we've one hell of a storm starting to brew up here in Cold Spring."

Shadow Puppets AU -Hunter's Birth

note: this thread takes place roughly ten years before the events of canon

He undid the seal on his garden with a wave of his finger, thinking he was prepared for whatever laid within. The worst he expected was to find that one had dug its way out of the ground with its organs underdeveloped, or perhaps with his jawbone missing, or a lame and twisted limb. He did not expect the sight that awaited him once he came down dark the stairs, his way lit with a single little light orb.

Belos heard the shuffling first. A Grimwalker had definitely crawled out of the dirt recently, and was likely trying to find a hiding place until it recognized its creator and commander, and stepped forward to recieve orders. Belos shined the light in front of him, illuminating his mask for the Grimwalker but gasped when he saw it curled up in a corner, shaking and cheeks wet with panicked tears.

This one...was a child

"Awwww! He's just a little boy!" Astrophel cooed the second he too caught sight of the Grimwalker.

All the other Grimwalkers had been older, some even fully developed adults before they crawled out of the garden. This one was very clearly prepubescent. At a guess, Astrophel would say about eight. That was definitely an oddity, but that was not the only thing Astrophel had noticed about this Grimwalker

"He looks almost exactly like Caleb!" He said, "But, smaller. Like you when we first met!"

His interest in this Grimwalker had spiked to degrees he had never been interested in Grimwalkers before. The others has been Philip's soldiers, only interested in his care and command, but the childish form of this Grimwalker gave Astrophel hope that this one would be different. This one could be another playmate.

"Hey, it's okay to come out," he said gently, forming himself into a blackhole shape at Philip's feet in order to look less like a potential threat to the clearly frightened child Grimwalker, "Tell him it's okay to come out!"

Belos was stunned for a moment, at how very similar to Caleb this one looked. It stirred up a memory that he'd thought he'd forgotten from before Gravesfield, of his brother talking to him over a fire while they traveled. He couldn't remember a word of what Caleb was saying, but he remembered how he clung to every word, happy to listen to whatever his brother said.

The Grimwalker shied away for a moment, confused and scared as the two strangers approached. Instinctively, Belos took his mask off, the Grimwalkers didn't usually need to see his face to know who he was, but he knew that his mask frightened children and the first and foremost thing on his mind was to make sure the Grimwalker knew he was safe.

The boy was already calming down, assured by the presence of his creator but Belos saw something shift in his expression as the mask came off as well. "Come here," He called gently, opening up his arms and beckoning him over "Come here, it's alright...Hunter"

The name slipped out of his mouth, it was one that he had been saving for when this was all over. When they were ready to destroy the Isles and return to the Human World, that was the name he had in mind for his final partner, the last Grimwalker he would ever make, his witch hunter.

The boy came forward as commanded, stopping just a foot or two in front of Belos to await his next order. He pulled his cape off, wrapped it around the naked Grimwalker, and scooped him up. He was so small and light.

As a good writer would write, it all started when a Ravener demon decided to take a walk around New York. 

It was a normal evening, like any other at the institute when the news came and the Lightwood-Harondale trio was sent to solve the problem; their usual partners, y/n and Clary, were busy running after a Shax demon (something y/n hated as much as doing laundry) two blocks too far away to be involved.

"I just don’t feel good about this" Alec mumbled, slowly making his way towards an ally, bow raised in front of him as his steps were careful. 

"We follow orders, Alec" Jace sighed "he’s right big bro and-" a sudden turn to the left "it’s not like y/n and Clary are not capable of defending themselves" Izzy finished.

"I still don’t believe it’s a good-", but he didn't get to finish; the loud cry of a man interrupting him mid sentence. 

The three immediately felt the sudden urge to run as Alec’s feet guided him: he turned around the corner, to the right, to the left, to the right again, and there he stood, the blood in his veins dry: y/n was on the ground, a cut as long as Jace’s blade on her left side, but it didn’t belong to a blade, its darkish spots of venom visible as the Ravener stood in front of her, ready to go for another hit.

Someone was with her and it was not Clary. 

The figure stood forward, a blade as shining as the moon was in his hand as he cut the demon’s feet. 

The beast crying in agony as it fell forward, knocking the stranger to the ground. 

"Alright, now I am angry" he heard y/n mutter as their will helped them on their feet again, a tight hand pressed on their side, they were trying to show as little pain as possible. 

It took a second, he didn’t have the time to process, as he saw them took a couple of daggers from behind their back, their hands holding the weapons tightly as they threw themselves at the beast. 

As soon as the daggers sinked into the demon’s stomach, Alec’s harrow hit the creature in its head, its body falling still on the ground as he saw them turn towards him. 

The daggers falling to the ground as he heard them chuckle: "I can’t keep doing your work Lightwood" and he watched, horrified, their body falling to the ground, eyes shocked as they landed in the arms of the stranger. 

What Alec found out later was that the stranger in question, was a shadow hunter, worse, he was a man: Sebastian Verlac was his name and he was far from being discrete.

It was obvious the guy had a crush on y/n, he saw it from the way his eyes followed their figure every time they left a room, or how he would make sure to have breakfast at their table every morning, a stupid grin on his face when they laughed. 

It started to be very ridiculous and Alec himself for some strange reason was starting to get sick of it. 

When he entered the training room that afternoon, he felt himself roll his eyes. 

Y/n and Sebastian were training in a way it looked more like flirting. 

He touched them in ticklish spots, his words a continuous tease, his eyes a staring mess. 

Alec coughed, hard, which got their attention, eyes shooting his way. 

Sebastian was quick to react, his eyes kindly drifting back to y/n, "guess I’ll go, I’ve won enough for today", y/n’s quick remark "ah! You wish"as the blond made his way towards the door Alec felt the sudden urge to punch him. 

"I want a rematch then" Sebastian said, smiling, before disappearing into the institute’s many corridors. 

Y/n’s eyes were back on Alec as he came forward, "you look pissed" they stated as he took two training sticks from the weapon’s section. 

"How about we train?" He asked, his eyes sharp as he threw one in y/n’s direction. 

"Alright serious boy" they snorted grabbing the stick, legs in position. 

He was the first to come forward, his legs strong as he aimed for y/n’s stomach but they were quick to stop him halfway. 

Alec seemed determined as he came forward again, a shot for their shoulder, they dodged, a aim for their leg, they stopped him again as y/n pushed the stick back to Alec’s face. 

"More than pissed I guess", Alec chuckled darkly as he turned into position "this is called training" he spat, his gray shirt sticky on his torso. 

Y/n felt like giggling "what is going on with you?", "how about a hand to hand?" Alec replied, kicking the stick aside as you followed his moves, not failing to see his hands were trembling. 

"Something was in your latte this morning" y/n teased as Alec pushed himself forward, a hand flying in the air as they dodged his punch "actually, I go for black coffee" his body as stiff as a log. 

He tried to take y/n down again, legs following his moves swiftly, this time he got a open shot as he grabbed them by the shoulder, his arms wrapping around their throat as he held tight behind their back. 

"This is called winning" he slowly loosed the grip, as y/n’s eyes lightened with amusement "so you’re jealous". 

"What?" He asked, coming to the front again, his eyes everywhere but on them, "you really are jealous" y/n couldn’t help but laugh as the man was clearly uncomfortable. 

"As future head of the institute, it is my duty to show you how to properly train" Alec was quick to react, his eyes finally meeting y/n’s as they softly smiled. 

"Sure, future head of the institute, this is clearly what this is all about". 

"It is."

Y/n sighed: "How about a rematch?" They asked. 

"Can’t, gotta go" Alec replied quickly, his legs taking him as far away from y/n as possible. 

"Don’t go make a scene to Sebastian too!" Y/n laughed as Alec cursed under his breath, hurting to disappear, maybe, if he left quick enough, it would have been as if nothing happened. 

Y/n felt themselves softly smiling: "Head of the institute? More like lover boy".
