Summary: Harry Du Bois and his skills from Disco Elysium is in the role of Slay the Princess' protagonist. The usual Voices and the Narrator accompany them as if nothing is out of place. Things go more than just out of place.

Note from submitter: This fanfic is glorious both in it's writing and how it looks. This fanfic looks like its straight from Disco Elysium and plays with it wonderfully. There are gags playing with and poking fun at the differences of the source materials like the characters from StP needing to be rearranged to fit into the DE style of narration. The author manages to mesh the two worlds together in a glorious way as if the two were meant to be together while expanding upon both. What personally shocks me is that this is ASpooky's first work and it is glorious beyond compare. They've also never coded before yet they managed to incorporate StP's famous "Heart. Lungs. Liver. Nerves." moment in a really, really cool way that you just have to see for yourself. I am in love with every little thing of this fanfic and it's still going!

yeah polls are fun but now tumblr unlocked a new sadness in this site: accidentally pressing the wrong option on a poll. hope you're proud of yourself, tumblr

Do feel like in some cases there’s a disparity between how a char is perceived on tumblr vs the general public ex: Dawn is a lot more well liked by the Buffy fandom on here than she is in general. So some room to debate there, but I went more with like. The general opinion of most casual viewers/readers when in doubt. So chars like Rory / Elena / Devi who have whole video essays dedicated to how annoying / selfish / whiny they are (eye roll.) count to me. And some might be more polarizing than hated, but vitriol when it’s there is extreme enough I felt like I could count them (Grace).

Also re: Shallan (which is the one I’m most hesitant to include because I interact with the fandom least this is just the impression from what I have seen) will say I’ve only read the first two books of Stormlight and don’t really have plans to continue, but she was definitely my favorite part of the experience so I found it wild to find out people thought of her as the worst part LOL.
